Initially I was pleased with the service here but they have gotten increasingly slower with even the simplest of service requests. 3 hours for two tires and an alignment with at appointment and arriving at 730 AM when shop opened is unacceptable, especially when quoted two hours. Service advisors move things as quickly as possible but there is obviously an issue on the back end that needs addressing. Don't come here unless you expect to spend half a day waiting, especially on Saturday.

I purchased a new 2016 Pilot from Hendrick Honda of Charleston. Andrey Alexander was my sales consultant and Mike Brown was my finance manager. I knew what I was looking for from the beginning. Andrey was very knowledgable about the product and I appreciated that he helped me find what I was looking for without making me feel pressured into a purchase. Mike was very thorough in finance and was able to help me save money by recognizing I had some money left on a warranty for car I was trading in. I was able to put that towards the purchase of my new car. Unfortunately, for a reason beyond control of the dealership, my new Pilot ended up in service. Jim Urban, the general sales manager, was prompt in returning my call and helped to provide me with a resolution to the problem that exceeded my expectations. I understand that a car is like any piece of equipment and can malfunction - it is the service and quick resolution to a problem provided by the team at Hendrick Honda that will keep me coming back in the future.Also, the 2016 Pilot is a dream, Honda has done a great job in this redesign!!!

My mother looked at many cars before leasing a Civic. Sam Patel was very thorough and attentive throughout the process. He and his manager, Ed Robinson, were prompt, courteous and professional, and ensured my mom understood all aspects of the transaction. There were no gray areas and she was very comfortable with her deal.

Don't waste your valuable time. They will mislead you, not listen, and generally make it a miserable experience. Internet salesperson Sam Patel is awful. Doesn't return calls or emails unless its convenient for him Finance Manager Paul Madden is just as bad. Will cheat you on the rate, use the wrong numbers, and say that's the way it is. They love to pass the buck. They all blame each other. To top this all off. When you walk from the deal. The Sales Manager Jeff gets involved. Will make all kinds of promises he can't keep. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS DEALERSHIP.

My wife bought a new Honda Accord from this dealer in 2006, (PAID IN FULL, CASH). When she brought the car home, in the bright lights of the garage, it was evident that the paint on the hood and the roof had what appeared to be small, pencil eraser size blisters over the entire surface. She took the car back to Hendricks Honda, and was told not to worry, that they would have the hood and roof repainted, and it would be as good as the rest of the paint on the car. They did paint the hood and the roof. However, within 3 to 4 years of buying the car and having the hood and roof painted, the roof and hood began to fade (badly). Those two areas of the car now have almost no paint left on them, while the rest of the car is pristine. She has been bounced back and forth between the dealership and corporate in an attempt to resolve this issue. Neither the dealership or corporate have expressed any interest in making this right. I would never recommend buying a car from Hendrick Honda.

I recently purchased a 2015 Honda CRV. This was the third Honda I have purchased from Hendrick Honda of Charleston. Based on the reliablily of my 2 previous Honda Accords and the excellent service I have received from Hendrick's, I did not consider looking anwhere else when I decided to look for a new car. Upon entering the sales area, I was approached by Anne Marie Taylor. She was friendly, informative and was able to answer all of my questions about the CRV. I could not have had a better person to work with because she made excellent suggestions and comparisons between various models; yet she did not pressure me to close the deal. When arrived at the dealership several days later to puchase the vehicle, Anne Marie had everything in order to expidite the purchasing process. Because of my positive experiences with Anne Marie and the Rick Hendrick's service department, I would recommend this dealership to others.

I called the service department of Hendrick Honda to inquire if I can get a 90K done towards the end of the day. I understand that 90 K services are something that take multiple hours, and to give the dealer a benefit of the doubt it is 1) a Saturday and 2) towards the end of the day. I do believe, however, customer service over the phone should ALWAYS be kind to the customer. When I asked if it were possible to do a 90K service last minute, the representative on the phone sounded annoyed. His response to my question was a deep sigh followed by a "WELL...I can send you to express". THE APPROPRIATE RESPONSE should have been along the lines of "I'm sorry, but we cannot get a quality service done within the current time frame, but we are happy to service your car properly another day". Furthermore, a 90K service is a MILESTONE service--suggesting express--is NOT acceptable.REGARDLESS of how the service-person may feel and REGARDLESS of how ridiculous the question can sound -- the customer is always right. I intend to cancel my 90K appointment and get my service done elsewhere outside of Charleston. This is basic business practice, people--BE KIND to your customers. I will spend my money on quality service with people who can communicate with people kindly and effectively.Please hire someone competent to answer the phone EVERY TIME a customer calls. Competent means they can 1) answer the phone every time, 2) communicate the proper information to the customer, 3) make the customer WANT to come to their business, and 4) ensures the customer is taken care of.

My desires for the new car purchase were very strict and demanding. After narrowing my choices down to two vehicles the Hendrick Honda team was able to provide me options for both of those vehicles. The options they provided were both so good I had a difficult time choosing between the two vehicles. I had the pleasure of working with Lamar Coles, Devon Kessller, and Jim Urban to help me make my final decision. Paul helped me through the final paperwork portion and payment options. The Hendrick Honda Team helped make the entire process as smooth as possible and was able to efficiently get me out the door with a car that I love at a price I could not pass up. My family spent most of the next morning checking out every detail of the new car. It was like Santa Clause left us an early present. This is the second vehicle I purchased from Hendrick Honda this year and would go back again for the next vehicle. I can see why they are a recommended dealer for the USAA car buying service. I recommend giving them a chance to meet your vehicle needs, or wants.

I was very impressed with the quality of care I received at Hendrick Honda, you expect to be treated like a dollar sign at a big dealership but they really took the time to make sure I left in the car that was perfect for my life and my budget. The product specialist, David Dorrell was extremely knowledgeable about all of the cars on the lot, both new and old and spent hours being patient with me while I test drove dozens of cars. The sales and Leasing consultant, Andrey Alexander worked tremendously hard with the managers to get me the car of my dreams at a price that fit my graduate school budget perfectly. Recently I had to come back and have work done on my car, thanks hurricane, and they all recognized me as if we were old friends.

I stopped in a day prior to make an appointment for today. I bought my Pilot here 12 years ago and have consistently had good experiences with service. However, today goes beyond---we are in the midst of flooding rains in Charleston and every one of the employees here today could reasonably be anxious to get home. With 260K miles on it, my car is in for a timing belt change along with several other maintenance needs. Without exception, from Eddie and Ian in service, to Sara who is cleaning and up keeping the facility, to salespeople whose names I didn't learn, and the mechanics and their manager, everyone has been attuned to my comfort, my needs, and prompt service. With road closures increasing by the minute, we will all be happy to get on our ways home, but the service and sales staff here at Hendrick Honda have all made today a positives from memorable experience of customer service that is rare these days in a spirit of camaraderie, as they help me on my way to my goal of 500K w this car. Something is going very right at Hendrick Honda to have so many cheerful employees on a challenging day like this.

I want to thank Greg Kelley for his professional, polite and prompt service as I was shopping for a vehicle this last week. Although I didn't end up buying a Honda, it wasn't because of his effort (the vehicle I was looking for, a MB GLK350, wasn't big enough and I became impatient, in spite of his suggestions and Internet work to find what I was looking for). Greg kept in touch with me as I was making my decision, and remained very professional when I informed him I had found a car somewhere else. As a local hotel manager, I have many opportunities to recommend dealerships and salesman. Greg will now be first on my list!! The salesman down the road at Hendrick BMW should take a page out of his book!

Please do not spend (Donate) your hard earned $$ at Rick Hendrick Honda service. June 2015 I took one of my 2 Hondas to get serviced. 2 front tires replaced, car is serviced. Spent over $1100. Couple days ago when my wife took this car for an oil change,they said "right front tire needs to be replaced as well as transmission fluid". I got these done 3 month ago. Went back to them this morning. Here is what I heard from their service manager :" Those tires are not ours, transmission fluid has been changed during the service but not removed from the records". Had I said change the transmission fluid, they would have change it and charge me another $216.00.I have been there many times for different reasons and waited at their waiting room.Heard many conversations between the service salesman and the customers. I always thought they are taking advantage of the -especially- ladies lack of knowledge on what is going on with their car. A small problem can easily present to the car owner as a "major issue, they may get themselves in a massive problem if it is not taken care of'. Many people say " OK, let's get it done" because they do not want any inconvenience. This has happened to my wife too. Luckily she knows the car she drives. Several years ago they had only 4 desks at the service area, now 8. Are Honda cars that bad their repair business is booming or they know something we do not want to know? I leased my last 2 Honda at Stokes Honda North. And never had issues with the service or treatment I got there. Now both cars are going to Stokes Honda North even though I have to drive additional 10 miles and spend extra time. Done with Hendricks Honda. Forever..

Ryan Woods showed us several used and new Civics. He is knowledgeable, easy to talk with, and is committed to finding the right vehicle for the customer. Very pleased with the service, [personal attention, and totally stress free approach. We bought a 2013 Civic LX (12,500 miles) for a great price. There was no pressure to buy, Ryan simply wanted to find the best car for us and our needs. He is a good resource and we went back a couple of times before selecting the right Civic from several on the lot. I rate Ryan as the top car sales professional I have worked with. I would go back to Ryan Woods for my next purchase which may come by end of this year. I also own a 2002 Accord (purchased at Hendrick in 2004) which I would like to trade for a newer model Accord. I believe Ryan will be the person I look for to learn what is on the lot and particulars about my next pre-owned vehicle. Ryan is capable, low key, easy to interact with, and he made the experience favorable. Hendrick got it right!

Bought a new HR-V. Although super hard to get, I did not have to pay something obscene or above the average price.95% of the work was done over the internet and it was a super smooth experience. I spent just over an hour in the dealership signing everything and being given a tour of my new car. Heck, that took so long because the HR-V is soaked in technology. I think the only thing that threw me off was that there were NO KEYS! Unreal :)This is our 3rd car from Hendrick Honda and our first new one from them as well. I was really glad the internet department was on the ball and helped me work the deal over email until I could get back into town. Thank you Mike Brown for taking care of me and getting me exactly what I asked for.and even a thank you to Rob in finance for not playing games and getting me great loan terms and an oil change/rotation contract for a few dollars more a month. I get our oil changed there anyways so it was money I would have spent anyways, just cheaper.Jeff

Recently my wife and I were shopping for a 2015 Honda Fit. After speaking with the sales manager for multiple hours we were unable to get our monthly payments under $400/month. We informed Hendrick Honda that we planned to use Heritage trust (our local bank) as the loan. Hendrick then informed us that they are able to go through them and get us the same rate. We were told that our best possible rate was 19.99% ONLY if we're could come up with a sizable down payment. We left for lunch and decided to actually visit our bank to see if that was correct. After being approved for a loan at 7.6% and no down payment it came clear that Hendrick Honda clearly lied about our rates. They also informed us that the bank actually does not require any down payment at all. After leaving the bank we traveled to Stokes Honda North and were helped by Kathleen who was extremely friendly and provided a lifetimes worth of intelligence. We should have come here to begin with! Stokes Honda was actually able to beat my banks rate and got us the vehicle we wanted within a couple hours.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO EVEN THINK ABOUT PURCHASING A CAR HERE. Paul the financial manager lied to us. He told us the car was serviced when I got the car, come to find out when I came back to get it "detail".....I found out it wasn't serviced!! Then after the "detail" the ashes from cigarettes was still in the car, and it wasn't even vacuumed out and stained were still visible on my leather which if you honestly licked your finger to wipe it off, it would've worked. That detail service was lazy and the car was beautiful however disgusting when it came to all the trash I had to clean out the day after it was "detailed". On top of that, I didn't have my new car for three days because of the "detail" and "service" they did to it. Yesterday we got contacted to pay the taxes on the car. Which is BS to the fact that Paul told us we wouldn't have to pay them, and since it was apart of the deal to purchase the car. xxx! You lied about the servicing, your staff is lazy when it comes to detailing, and you gave us false information to close the deal. I seriously am debating taking this car back. It's ridiculous.

My car started making noise in the steering. Dropped the car off immediately, without an appointment. Were told car would be looked at that afternoon. No call received into afternoon. Called twice and were told service too busy to talk, took message. Someone did call later, but call was missed. Called back twice not able to speak with person handling car. Finally heard from service person, with long list of problems with the car. Some of which seemed implausible. Decided to take car for second opinion. Have recently read other bad reviews of service from Hendrix. My real dilemma is that I am in the market for a new car. My top choice is the Honda CRV, which has great ratings and reviews. However, how can I buy a car that will need to be serviced at a dealership that provides such terrible repair service?

Thinking that my bride would find it easier to work a femaie, I first went to the Hendrick website to find a "strong" female sales person. I located Paige Suttle and called for an appointment. On the phone Paige clearly had good knowledge of the Honda product line. We went to the dealership and she was generous with information and her time. It took a couple more weeks for us to discuss what we wanted to buy. Upon our return, Paige and others at the dealership were very helpful to us. We had many questions for Paige and she patiently worked through all of them. Even during the price discussion, friendliness prevailed! Paige is a 1st class representative of Hendricks Honda. The overall comradery was great--between Paige, Jerry Heesen & Matt Agosto (who were also involved0. They worked so well together. We will recommend Honda & Hendricks to our friends and hope this review will help others to go to the dealership too.

After having a difficult time at another Honda dealership in SC, I called Matt DePaulis at Hendrick Honda of Charleston, whom was a recommendation from a good friend of mine. I spoke with him on the phone a few times and he was very upfront and friendly. The day I was able to come up the Hendrick Honda, (I live 2 hours away) Matt DePaulis told me he was leaving at 5pm, he asked if it would be ok to speak with Mark Groetsch. Mark Groetsch was outstanding, he was very polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and he was not pushy at all. I felt very comfortable purchasing my 2014 Honda Civic from him and felt like I left the dealership getting a good deal, which in my opinion, is the way you should feel when you buy a new car. John Baek spoke with me during the time of my visit for financing, he was very personable and easy-going, which I find invaluable when it comes to sales. I would highly recommend Hendrick Honda of Charleston and will do business with them again in the future.

I just have had one of the most extraordinary buying experiences ever.........and, of all things, in that arena that many of us dread: automobiles. The answer: Hendrick Honda of Charleston, SC--an amazing organization with amazing people. They're fair, professional, courteous, responsive and bend over backwards to give a good deal. They listen to the consumer and take her seriously. I received a terrific deal--such that one of Hendrick's competitors said to me (when I was researching/negotiating prices) that such a deal (as Hendrick offered) was not possible. I was in contact with Honda dealers around the state--Hendrick bettered them all on price. Ron Wilkin responded immediately and seriously to my requests and requirements--no batting around--and, while the other dealers (none of whom ever met Hendrick's price) were busy playing dodge ball and wasting time, the professionals got my business. The entire experience was as pleasant as possible and I thank everyone I dealt with over several days: Ron Wilkin, Sales Manager; Matt DePaulis, Sales Manager; Edward Robinson, Sales Consultant; Paul Madden, Finance Manager. Based on this personal experience, I recommend Hendrick Honda without reservation. (Incidentally, this is my 3rd Honda.) Hendrick would be worth a trip to Charleston if you do not live here. After a terrible experience being lied to at Stokes Honda North, I called Paul Zarres at Hendrick. I told him the situation about being given one price and then Stokes adding 500 bucks to it when I got there. Paul asked what they originally quoted me and said he would call me back in a few minutes. Within two minutes he called me back with a price that beat Stokes' original LIE, and as a few added bonuses, I got better dealer installed options, a lifetime engine warranty, and honest people to work with. They didn't try to sell my anything extra and I was out of there in about an hour with my new Fit for a great price and no xxxxxxxx from the sales and financing folks. Honesty goes a long way in my book, and Hendrick Honda just got a whole chapter in it. Thanks, Paul.

My wife and I went to Hendrick Honda to look over some certified pre-owned CR-Vs. We met Matt DePaulis, who I had visited with online, and he showed us a low mileage 2009 that was certainly a good buy. We bought the car for my wife! I had also been looking at a Pilot, but needed to wait a bit to purchase. I got an email from Matt describing the 125% of Kelly Blue book on trade-ins available through the end of July 2013, so we went back to Hendrick Honda and Matt gave us an idea of pricing and what colors and models were available. Matt never pushed me, but just answered all my questions. I really liked that approach, as so many sales people tend to try to push you into a car right away. We decided on a blue pilot, and Matt worked with his sales manager to get us both the best deal on the new car, but also the most on our trade-ins. We now have two new hondas in our garage - a 2013 Pilot and a 2009 CR-V, and couldn't be happier. Matt has called us back several times to be sure all is OK, and I told him that my wife wanted wheel locks for the CR-V. He sent me an email later that day saying that Hendrick had those in stock and he was able to get me a discount on the price. I was referred to Paige Suttle from a friend who recently purchased a new vehicle from her. I was looking for a Honda CRV. Paige S. was great very friendly and personable. It was a rainy day and she very wilingly walked the lot to drive cars up for me to look at. I have to say it was the easiest and quickest car purchase I have ever had. There was not a bunch of back and forth haggling. I feel like Matt A. saw that I was willing to put a little money down and had an older car to trade-in so he was willing to meet me where I needed to be in monthly payments. I was soo excited that they made it so easy and that they could get me where I needed to be in payments that I hugged Paige and Matt. Paul Madden in finance also made the experience very personable and answered any questions that we had. My husband and I purchased a new Honda Fit at Hendrick Honda last week. It was a very positive experience, start to finish. We had already done our research prior to going to the dealership, and had settled on the Fit as a good choice for us. We worked with James the first day we were there - he was extremely friendly, helpful, and patient as we checked out every color and model available on the lot. We actually spent more time than we expected, and had to come back the next day to make the purchase. James came back in and met us the next day, even though it was his day off - we really appreciated the continuity. He was joined by Mark, and they both worked with us at making a final decision - again, they were both very helpful and flexible while we debated the details of our final decision. They were also great to work with during the negotiation process. We've been to other places in the past where we felt that the salespeople were very dishonest and trying to manipulate us, but we both felt that Mark and James were both just really honest people doing their job, as we worked to make the best mutual agreement that we could. They answered all of our questions, and we never felt that they were trying to hide the facts or take advantage of us.The positive experience continued with Amy, who worked us through the financing portion of the sale. She was very informative, and discussed all of our options in detail with us to help us come to a good decision. We left with a full understanding of the financial agreement.All three were friendly, informative, honest, and nothing but patient and positive as we kept them after closing to complete our deal. We would genuinely love to work with any of them again, and will likely return to Hendrick Honda the next time we purchase a new vehicle.

With that in mind and knowing I need to upgrade to a larger family vehicle I went to Hendrink Honda. I could not have been more pleased with the outstanding job everyone did to help me find the right car at the right price. Jerry Heesen was very pivotal in my purchase, as he was honest and cared that I was 100% happy with my decision to purchase a car. Everyone was great to me and my children during the process of buying a car, my 8 yrs old keeps asking if she can go back and see her friends Jerry and Bernard. Stephen was wonderful! He didn't pressure us at all which is what I have experienced at other dealerships in the past. He was very knowledgable about the models we test drove. While I loved my Mazda Tribute, I needed more space. After days of research online, I decided that I wanted to either look at a Honda Pilot or Ford Expedition. Ross Patel contacted me and we set up an appointment for a Saturday morning. Unfortunately, the vehicles I wanted to look at were at other Hendrick locations. Ross did have an Acura MDX on the lot. I didn't even consider an Acura since they were out of my price range. But after driving this extremely well taken care of, single owner MDX, I loved it! Ross knew this was not my first ride on the purchasing merry go round and was very respectful of that. In the past I have dealt with pushy salesmen, rude salesmen, and lazy salesmen. Ross is NONE of the above. He is professional and careful to keep what I was looking for in the forefront of the sales process. I got my MDX at a fantastic price with a lower payment than what I had before! I would definately recommend asking for Ross Patel when you stop by Rick Hendrick Honda on Savannah Hwy. I started looking at and researching cars around June/July 2012. At that time I had a 2007 Nissan Maxima that I had had for almost four years. I loved my Maxima but had purchased it with my ex-husband and just could not afford the payment and the gas anymore and was ready for a change. My very first car was a 1984 Honda Accord that I drove it until I couldn't anymore. After that I had SUVs until I got the Maxima. I thought long and hard about what I wanted and finally decided that I wanted to go back to my first- a Honda Accord. In January I was running errands near Savannah Highway with my roommates two dogs in the car and I said to myself, "lets ride through the Honda dealership". So after circling the parking lot twice and getting out to look at a couple of 2013 Accords I decided it was time to bring the dogs back home and look online again at Hendricks stock and later decided to go talk with a sales rep. This was January 30th and when I walked in the door at Hendrick I was greeted with a great smile and asked immediately how I was doing by James Echon. We then proceeded to get down to business. I told James that I had circled the parking lot earlier and wanted to look at a couple of the Accords that I had seen earlier. The first Accord I sat in I immediately fell in love. We took the Accord on a test drive and I could not believe how well it rode, drove and got up and went, especially being a 4 cylinder, 185 horsepower!!! After test driving another Accord but really liked the first one(the main difference was leather versus cloth seats- leather won). After we returned to the dealership we started the negotiations. This is never really a fun part of anything major but it has to be done. After getting together the loan payoff on my Maxima and the trade in value the negotiations got deeper. That is when James got Ron WIlkin to join in the negotiations. after about 4-5 hours at the dealership that day I told the guys I had to do a little more research and "sleep on it". I know this was stressful for James and Ron but this was a major decision for me and I had to make sure it was right with me and that I would be back the next day by noon.Well the next morning James called me around 10 A.M. to say that Ron wanted to see me as soon as I could be there he had some good news. Well this got me excited so I got ready and went back to Hendrick Honda and walked in to be greeted the same way as the day before by James and Ron. Well Ron came over and wrote a figure down that I liked. I told them I needed to check the insurance, taxes,etc. Ron and James really wanted to see me in this car because I think they could see how happy I was. Well, I GOT THE CAR I WANTED AND I LOVE IT!!!!!! I have had the car for a month now and have gotten 500 miles on three different tanks of gas which makes a big difference to my wallet, my insurance is cheaper and my payment is cheaper than the Maxima.I can say this was the best car buying experience I have had in a while and it is all due to James and Ron. I am so happy that I made this decision and I will recommend anyone to shop at Hendrick Honda.

Matters about finances were sought from another department, but she was helpful with everyone I asked. She was thorough and concise with the answers. I do most of my research on the Internet and this experience with top notch. Clint was responsive in emails and calls, made time for me at every step of the way and I must admit this was the easiest car purchase I have ever made hands down. I will purchase another car from Clint and Hendricks Honda! As part of the purchase I had a few options installed and that was also an excellent experience working with Clint and Ms. Brittain in the service department. Dealt with Matt initially on-line. He was not available when we came into the dealership so Edward Robinson helped myself and my husband. There was a little confusion as to the final price of the car (alot of dealer installed items which I didn't want) but he and I believe the business Manager were able to work with the final price so that I was more comfortable with purchasing. The entire experience took about 4 1/2 hrs (time spent is very important to me). BY that time it was dark when we took ownership and it was difficult to see the car clearly for inspection. The next day we noticed 2 dents and multiple surfac e scratches. Left information at dealership and Edward called and he had everything worked out and it was fixed (which required the car be there almost 6 hours- More Time and we had NO car). But overall we are pleased with the car and would recommend the dealership. Hopefully the service department is wonderful and easy to work with.

Clint Powell was very professional and helpful, answering all of my questions and communicating as conveniently and as frequently as I needed. He presented me with multiple options and worked with me patiently to allow me to make the right decision once I had all the facts. Separately, I would also like to say that I initially dealt with Amy Messer for the financing, and that couldn't have been more cumbersome. I found it hard to get information from her, or in a timely manner. This requested information was never provided, which ultimately led to dealing with Paul Madden instead. Conversely, Paul was very professional and helpful in explaining the process as we moved through it. He also offered me several options during the finance process, which were also welcomed. All in all, the car buying experience between these two guys, with the help of Matt Agosto, could not have gone more smoothly. I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in purchasing a new vehicle.

I had browsed many other dealerships in the Charleston area (not just Honda), and was frustrated by the experiences there. I never felt pressured or swayed while dealing with Matt. I think I got a pretty good deal. I wanted a color they didn't have and was able to get one from another dealership through them. Only thing I can say negative is that I was not aware that meant the car would have 850 miles on it. They did give me a bit extra maint to make up for that, though.

I was not emotionally prepared to buy a new car when I headed to Hendrick Honda that Tuesday afternoon. But I had just been told by a repair shop that my 8-year-old Ford needed a little over $3,000 in repairs. That's about what the trade-in value was. Declining the repairs, I decided it was time.Paige Suttle greeted me, taking down information. We went for a spin in an Accord, which I didn't like. The driver's seat back was really uncomfortable. I had happily owned an Accord for 12 years prior to 2004, so I was unpleasantly surprised. Not to be deterred, Paige thought I might like the Civic. Out we went again. As soon as I sat down, it felt right. That's the car I bought.From the beginning Paige was helpful and supportive. I never felt like she was trying to do a hard sell, and I really appreciated that. There are plenty of sales people who could take lessons from her. Walking me through the financing part was easy and painless. She's a good listener. Follow up from Hendrick Honda has been excellent. Paige Suttle was outstanding. She met us on the lot while we were looking at the Pilots. As we were discussing the pilot another one of her customers came in and she graciously handed them over to another sales person and stayed with us. She was willing to do that despite the fact that the second customer purchased a vehicle and she only got 1/2 of that sale. As we progressed with the pilot discussion, we totally changed our minds and began looking at the Accord. Paige never showed any frustration by our decision and she was very supportive as we looked at several Accords. After a couple test drives and a look at the cars on the lot, we settled on an Accord Touring. It's an outstanding car and I don't think we would have ended up leasing the vehicle had it not been for Paige's patience and input. The car needed window tinting and door guards and we wanted the stripe removed and Paige arranged all of it to be done on the Monday after the Saturday that we signed the lease. Excellent customer service and focus and I recommended that my daughter contact Paige to see if she could help with her car situation.I was pleased with all aspects of the lease--from the sales to the leasing input to the signing of all the documents.Ron

We had done research before coming to the dealership and knew we wanted a Honda Fit. Frank G was most helpful in helping us decide on the package (Sport with automatic transmission). You didn't have the model we wanted in the color we decided on. When it became obvious it would take a while to get "our" car, Frank offered to let my wife use one of the "service" cars. After living as a week as a 1 car family, we took him up on the offer. We picked up the "service" car on Tuesday and kept it until we picked up pur new Fit on Saturday at no charge other than to replace the gas we used.We feel that Frank provided excellent customer service and purchasing this car with his help was a good experience. If he didn't know the answer, he admitted it without possibly giving me incorrect information and even researched some specific questions for me. We had three issues that we wanted fixed before purchasing our used vehicle and Thomas made sure they got done. Overall, he just seemed like a humbled person that legitimately wanted to help us more than himself. Easily the best experience I have had at a dealership.

I would highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from this dealership because they met my needs and then exceeded my expectations. I would never had believed that buying a car could be so fast, easy, and trouble free. Everyone I encountered was both pleasant and helpful to the nth degree. I didn't have any questions that weren't answered and I had no doubt from the moment I considered my purchase to the moment I signed my check that I was dealing with the right people and buying the right car. No one pushed a higher priced car and no one regarded me as someone who needed a base model either. I felt very respected throughout the entire process. I also applaud their willingness to work with me during the next week as everything in regards to the car was worked out to my highest satisfaction. From sales to service everyone put me first. No one does that these days, let alone a car dealership. Although I hope to have my car for an incredibly long time, I can't wait to get back to Hendrick Honda to buy my next car!

I went in to look at a 2008 Toyota Sequoia Limited after seeing it online. I planned to go over to Toyota of Charleston first but glad Shane Thornburg asked me to come by Hendrick Honda. I really love the Sequoia and it was an easy transition since I was trading in my Toyota Tundra. He happened to have the car my wife wanted as well so we did a two car purchase in two days. Our experience at Hendrick Honda far surpassed our expectations. We felt very welcome and all the people were excellent to work with. Originally I had planned to purchase a pre-owned, certifed Honda, but were pleasantly surprised to learn that a brand new one was available at an excellent price. Our sales rep, Mark Groetsch, was awesome!As a parent I was thrilled that there was even a special play area for children, and I look forward to a continued relationship with the dealership for service. My wife and I purchased a Honda for our daughter and son-in-law. She had nothing to do with the purchase until she went to pick it up. I handled the purchase and received excellent service from Matt DePaulis. I did not deal with anyone else. Although the dealership has our daughter (Martha T. Dougherty)listed as the purchaser, she is in fact the recipient of our gift. One of thebest aspects of this purchase was the receipt of a fair price, which I believe was as low as I could have received from any dealer, with no haggling, which typically gives automobile dealerships a bad reputation. Another excellent aspect of the purchase was the ability to handle it by e-mail or telephone. I have been and am completely satisfied with the transaction, and if I buy another Honda I would like to deal the same way.

We were enticed to come to Charleston from HH by an internet ad for an Accord. When we arrived we were told that the listed car was a stripped down model and that there were only two (already sold ) none available. The night before when we spoke to the salesperson by phone, we had the impression that there were a whole lot full. We were shown to a much more expensive version. I had no plans on actually buying a car just wanted some updated information. However Mr. Depaulis was so forthcoming and honest with me that I couldn't walk out of there without buying this vehicle. This was the third vehicle that we either leased or purchased from Hendrick Honda. A 2005 and a 2008 Honda Accord LX was leased. The currant 2012 Honda CR-V EX was purchased this week. Do to the low mileage on the Accords after the 3 year lease period, we were 1. Able able to sell the 2005 Accord to pay off the Honda loan with and 2. Lease the 2008 Honda with the leftover cash. We were then able to borrow bank money to pay off the Honda loan and purchase the 2008 Honda. The low mileage trade in high value of the 2008 Honda allowed us to purchase the CR-V with an affordable low interest loan from our bank. Why do I tell you all this? Because it all came about because of the high value and quality of Honda cars and the excellent help provided by Hendrick Honda lease/sales and service folks over the years. Especially Calvin Lawrence who saw to it that we always got a good deal and were well taken care of.

I initially began the process of leasing a new car with Jason Wheeler. He was so helpful in explaining the differences between various packages that come with the Civic, what capabilities came along with it and how to use everything inside the car. Jason was also very patient in dealing with paperwork and bumps that came along while trying to finalize everything. I was very pressed for time in getting the Civic, so when Jason was out of the office Brian jumped right in and picked up where we left off and was equally as helpful. I only ever dealt with Brian over the phone, but after everything was finalized and I came in to pick up the car, Brian made a point to come introduce himself and congratulate me on my new purchase. Both Jason and Brian were crucial in this process and I could not have asked for anything more. They were patient, informative, understanding, and did all they could to make sure I walked out with the car I wanted and needed. A million thumbs up for both of them.

After obtaining the car, he was extremely prompt in getting back to me with any question I emailed him about that came up as I familiarized myself with the vehicle. My experience on the day of the purchase was great Brian and Matt were both great in the purchase process and Bernard was very helpful in the financing process as we completed the purchase. Each time I visited, a salesperson greeted me and made sure the receptionist alerted Paige of my presence. Paige was very professional, knowledgable and a delight. She found exactly what I was looking for. I can honestly say (and have to my friends and family) that I have never been treated so well or had so much fun purchasing a vehicle. I bought a new Honda Accord yesterday from this dealership. I really enjoyed my 6 hours spent here (haha, that is a bit sarcastic, it only took that long because we decided to buy it, which is a good thing), they were grilling, so we got to eat. Everyone working there was really nice, and our saleswoman Paige was not pushy at all. We got the price we hoped for pretty easily, and they were honest and upfront. Paige was very knowledgeable about the competitors cars and what to think about when debating my purchase. Amy is very smart as well and definitely knew what she was doing in finances. She knew all kinds of laws and paperwork goodies. I felt very relieved that everything was well explained and well documented. Would definitely recommend buying a car from here!

I told Mr Banks that we were looking for a car for my youngest daughter, who is an underpaid school teacher. I also told Mr Banks that I previously have bought Hondas from Hendrick Honda. Wd were just looking and Honda was are first stop.Mr Banks took the above info. He described the safety of the Honda, the operating costs of the Honda, the long term reliability of the Honda. He took my daudhter on a test drive and upon return showed the features of the car. My daughter told him what kind of payments she could afford. Mr Banks left us and returned within 10 minutes with a proposal that was reasonable. We then said we would buy with a little more tweaking. Hendrick Honda agreed.The bottom line was Mr Ernie Banks listened to what was important to Myself (Safety, reliability, reasonable operating costs and somehing my daughter could afford) My daughter got a vehicle that she liked and could afford the monthly payments. The bottomline is the sixth Honda purchase was the best yet. Mr Banks is a pro. He is one of the few car salesmen that listen to what is important to the customer other than a low price.

He contacted me promptly to introduce himself and kept in close contact until he was able to locate the car I wanted. Jason Wheeler immediately came to us as soon as we entered the lot. He introduced himself and asked if we were interested in anything specific and we told him we wanted to see the Honda Fit. He took us right to the car, and asked if we wanted to drive it. We did, and he got the keys and he drove us part of the way while explaining all of the buttons on the dash, the warranty, and many details about the car. My husband then drove the car and Jason offered me the front seat so I could get the feel of the car while he rode in the back. Again he answered any question that we had. When we got back to the dealership, he immediately told us what they could offer us as a price and my husband told him what we thought we wanted to pay according to the information my husband had gotten on the internet. Jason went to his supervisor and the supervisor came over and explained that the car had a package installed that we really had not been interested in. My husband still said the price was too high. They finally came up with a very good price..the price my husband had wanted, plus less than half of the extra package. All the while we waited for the financial person, Jason stuck with us offering us beverages and making us as comfortable as possible. Since there was only one financial person working that day and it was a very busy day, it took a while but that was not Jason's fault. He had the car washed and prepped and ready for us and as soon as we finished the financial part (which was very fast and helpful), Jason pulled up in the car and we drove home. It was very good service, and Jason was a very friendly likeable young man. He explained that the dealership would be following up on service and told us to be honest about our experience. On a scale of 1-5 with 5 being the highest, he deserves a 5++ for the service and salesmanship he provided. Paige was a truly first-rate dealer from the moment she greeted me. I went to the dealership with a clear cut idea of what I wanted, and she made it her goal to help me in a courteous and well informed manner throughout the 3 trips I made. She was very patient when I struggled to decide between two similarly equipped cars, and never tried to force my hand into a major decision.When it came time to deal she was truly professional. I've purchased several high-end cars before and this buying experience was perhaps the pinnacle of them all. I did not get strong-armed at any point, and both Paige and the sales manager were very straightforward with me. The first offer they made me was significantly better than I expected, and I wasn't guilted when I made a low-ish counter-offer. In the end I was very pleased with both the final price (including trade-in offer) and the way in which we reached it. I explained to him what I was looking for and that I am retired and needed a monthly payment I could afford on my fixed income. After working with several dealerships between Savannah, Beaufort and Charleston--Hendrick Honda was by far our preferred dealer for doing business. Before walking in the door, we had done extensive communication with each dealer via email for over a weekso I could control the pace of the negotiation process, and review all the information each dealer was presenting me. I asked very specific questions ranging from basic vehicle information, to itemized breakdowns of each cost for an out-the-door price. While some dealers would tell me to call ASAP because they had found one vehicle out of our top three and it was very hard to find this model, Hendrick Hondaand Brett Tillman in particular, gave me the exact breakdown by exterior/interior colors for that model within a 3 state radius. While other dealers would ask me for a $500 deposit and copy of my drivers license, but still hadnt answered (or paid any attention to) any of my follow-up questionsBrett answered each and every one well beyond my satisfaction. Even though other dealers offered $500-$1000 less than Hendrick, I eventually went with Hendrick because I wanted to give them my business based on the way they treated me, and the way they conducted business throughout the process.

Our first contact was with Brian Mulliax, who was most helpful and showed us several cars and also took us for a test drive. We were very pleased with Brian and his knowledge of what we were looking for. Since Brian had another appointment he turned us over to Brett Tillman and we were also very pleased with.He was able to offer us a deal that we could not resist. We were very pleased and would recommend anyone to contact Brian or Brett, they are good people to work with.

from the moment I step into the show room, Bred Tillman and Tony Beasenburg greated us with a smile that showed that they were sincere. Ask if there was anything that they can help us. I explain what we were looking for, eager to help, showed us different options that would fit our budget. Showed me all the options the Honda Accord has, fully loaded and standard fitures. Up to the last minute of transaction, very friendly. They allow me to make my own decision without the sales pitch. They gave me time to think and compare the difference, when I told that that I would need to think about it they gave me their card, and told me if I ever think or anything else or have any other questions to please call them. Very Friendly and accomendating. Did not show any fustration, even though I told them that I would still have to think about, they had no problem with that at all. I went back the next day, because of the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT I HAD EVER RECEIVE FROM A DEALER SHIP. BELIEVE ME I WILL RECOMMEND HENDRICK HONDA OF CHARLESTON TO MY FRIENDS. THANK YOU.... Great experience purchasing new car. Everyone at the dealership worked hard to earn our business however at the same time were very professional and concerned about us getting what we wanted and making sure we were happy with the purchase. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left everyone was very helpful professional and went out of their way to please us. Paige was friendly and informative. She was helpful in selecting a model of Accord which would meet our needs. She was quite knowledgable about the Honda Accord and answered all of our questions. The followups have been very courteous and we feel like we could call her at anytime.

This is my sixth consecutive honda and I think it is a great car. The salesman (Brett Tillman) really new the car well and could answer all my questions. He also was very helpful in talking to me on the phone when I was having trouble disabling the automatic door locking on the day after the purchase. He was excellent. I did not quite get the deal I wanted, but perhaps my expectations were not realistic. I wish that I had had the option of not accepting some of the add ons that the dealer put on the car after the dealership had received it. I did not like to have to pay for add ons such as the decorative strip, window tinting and other items that drove the price up several hundred dollars. On the other hand, the promotion providing maintenance every 5000 miles for 25000 miles was a real bonus. I have had previous hondas serviced at this dealership and experienced no problems.

My recent experience with Hendrick Honda was very unpleasant. The words that would best describe my experience are frustrating, confusing, and a waste of time. I would never recommmend Hendrick Honda to anyone under its current administration. The collaboration between workers are nonexistent, therefore, causing much unnecessary confusion. Also, some of the people I dealt with were very unprofessional. I would not advise anyone to shop here.

My rating for the dealership has always been great because I was always treated with respect and never pushed into anything that I do not want, the same for the shop, they advise and sugest and give safety warnings if needed, but alwasy leave the final decission up to the customer, without any pressure.

When I took my car in to be serviced, Mr. Brock was very helpful. He exlained the details of what need to be fixed very throughly. I really appreciated the fact that he understood my financial situation(single public school teacher).Because the repairs were so exspensive, he offered me a few small discounts that really helped and made me feel like Honda cared. I went to Hendrick Honda of Charleston for a battery replacement. Once I got there they took me right away which was great. The whole process only took around 20-30 minutes which was also a plus. What a pleasurable experience I had at Rick Hendrick Honda of Charleston. I typically take my car to a local shop but after receiving a coupon in the mail I decided to try Hendrick Honda. I am so glad I decided to take my car back where I purchased it, because upon my arrival Timmy greeted me and was very friendly and knowledgable of my needs. I started out with Frank in July on a visit by myself.We looked at Civics. I told him it would be a little while before I was ready as my son and daughter had to come with me as I am 78 years old. We came again in late August, then a couple of times in September. I let him know I was looking at other makes. He was always positive and never said any thing negative about other makes of cars.(other salesmen did) He explained how the symtem worked. Today he let me compare the accord to a civic next to each other and when I indicated I was leaning to the accord he pointed out it good features and showed me 4 different colors with the same packages on them. I choised the color and Frank helped us work out a deal that more than satified me. Then we went to finance manager. He also worked out a good deal on the warrentee and maintance package. So you have one happy satified customer. Thank you for having such a great team at Hendrick Hondo! I feel I explained why I felt everyone I ended up dealing with was friendly, very good at their jobs, and very patient with an elderly customer.You should try doing the same.Sorry about colors but don't know how to get rid on them.

The experience was great! I only have two issues that bother me. 1. I had to drive back twice to complete either forgotten paperwork or inaccurate paperwork.2. The innaccurate paperwork left off the pay-off amount for my old vehicle and may potentially cause me to have to come out of pocket for car payments in October for both my old CRV and the new one, and I do not have that kind of money. I should have caught it, but didn't see it.

I had the WORST experience at STOKES HONDA and thought id give rick hendrick a try even though I had lost all hope to find the vehicle I wanted. They got right to the point and got me the monthly payments I needed and gave me over 3,600 more for my trade in than stokes with an amazing honda civic ex less than the lx stokes was trying to sell. I was out and on the road with everything I needed making it the best car shopping experience ever. I would definitely recommend them to everyone GO TO RICK HENDRICKS, they know the value of true customer service and not going to try and hustle you into something you don't want. Service department was very attentive to the concerns presented with our 2010 CRV: a rattle that was heard while driving on bumpy roads. They spent time driving the vehicle with and without me. They determined the cause of the rattle and replaced the part. The dealership, also, recognized the recall for our vehicle and performed that job. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Will get my car serviced at this dealership again.

We had a serious problem with staining on our upholstery on our Honda CRV. We tried to get it cleaned to no avail. We were able to take it to Hendrick Honda and have it cleaned and treated for a decent price. We had already had it professionally cleaned and they could not remove the stains (from water!). We got the car back in mint condition.

I had a good experience at Hendrick Honda in Charleston. Paige Suttle was my sales consultant and she was the main reson I was able to walk away happy. I came there for a car that I wanted, and she (and Rick in finance) made sure that I left with that car. Paige Suttle has a genuinely kind personality which makes her a great sales consultant. Went to Hendrick Honda to buy my first car and had a great experience. Frank came out to greet me and was very patient, helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly throughout the process. I ended up with a 2008 Scion xD in good condition, and I'm very satisfied with my purchase. In all likelihood I'll go back to Hendrick Honda the next time I buy a car.

My husband and I went into the Charleston Honda location just to look because my Accord's lease was up at the end of the month. I was hesitant because I had always bought my Honda vehicles (six total so far)from my Honda dealership at home. We were BLOWN AWAY by the customer service we received! Valery was great and very knowledgeable about the products. We ended up picking a brand new Honda Pilot and LOVE it! Everyone at this Honda dealership from Valery, the Sales Manager, and the gentleman in financing were great and easy to work with...they even put the NCAA Baseball Championship game on while we waited because my team was playing! I would highly recommend this Honda and Valery to anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle!

I've worked with a competing Honda dealership for 5 years, buying a new car every 9 months like clockwork. They weren't willing to work a two car deal with me after multiple sales people and managers. I took a chance on Rick Hendrick and I'm glad I did. They worked both deals and we ended up with nicer cars in better shape and for a far better price. I can't thank Paige, John and Bernard enough for taking care of us and I look forward to bringing my return business there in the future.I'm also located out of Goose Creek, but it was absolutely worth the drive.

I am on my 3rd Honda, but I have only been using this dealership for 4 or 5 years now. They have always been very professional and friendly. Lately I've been hit with some pricey things (like a $600 key cylinder replacement to be able to start my car), and then other things like my trunk lock, which i can't afford to fix, and some seatbelt buckle issues. So when i came in this past time and I was facing an almost $1300 catalytic converter replacement when i was just over the warranty miles, I was feeling very frustrated with Hondas; worried that the quality of parts was going downhill, and overall concerned that my faith in Honda and my bragging rights were starting to go downhill. I'm about to start helping my mom look for a used car, and my scope was widening to look at other brands. Sam Latto helped to restore my faith. There is a woman named Mary there, as well, and they both kindly took my multiple calls with questions and concerns as I was doing a little research on issues with catalytic converters. If Sam didn't know an answer right off-hand, he would find out and call me back promptly. I came to pick up my car because i wasn't ready to commit to having the service done yet due to the expense, and the part wasn't in stock, and i wanted to research it more. When i got there, Sam Latto was filling out a Goodwill warranty request for me, which i was very appreciate of. He got back to me when he said he would, with good news that Honda was going to cover 80% of the repair. He ordered the part, and called with updates to keep me informed. I had the repair done, and overall had a great experience, when it could have gone the opposite way. Sam Latto gets high marks in my book for friendliness and reliability. And icing on the cake, was being shuttled back and forth by Hank, who has been doing the shuttle service for them for years now. It's always a pleasure to have a conversation with him on the way there and back. :)

I was not looking forward to helping my sister in law look for a used car. I hate the high pressure sales people you run into and the negotiations necessary for a fair price. BUT, I was VERY pleasantly surprised to find Bernie Boettcher at Hendrick Honda on Hwy 17...He was fantastic!...Easy to speak with, very friendly and very helpful in helping us to decide to buy a car right on the spot! The competition was an Altima at Nisson and he blew them away. I will definitely recommend him to friends!

Calvin Lawrence met me as I arrived at the dealership. He was freindly and professional answering all questions and went with me on a test drive. He worked with his manager, Matthew, and prepared me a quote on the Pilot. Matthew also met with me to be sure I had all my questions answered. I told them I was considering 3 other vechiles, a Toyota, GMC and Chevrolet and would let them know what I decided. After careful consideration, I returned to purchase the Honda. Matthew and Frank Giovannone met me when I returned. Calvin had left for the day, so Frank helped me with the deal. I was extremely impressed by everyone who helped me during the sale, including the finance manager. All were friendly and efficient. I'm going to tell my co-workers and friends about my experience. My sister is considering buying a honda and I'm sure she will start here. I was very impressed. I'm glad I decided to buy from this honda dealer. Was one the best experiences I have ever had buying a car. Bernie was extremely knowledgeable on the product and i enjoyed talking with him over which car to actually buy in the end he ended up pointing me towards the Honda Civic which so far has been a wonderful choice with great gas mileage. Without Bernie's help I probably would have been looking up, down, left and right trying to find the right car for my needs. He was also very kind and unusually honest for a car salesmen which only added to the experience. Overall very pleased with the dealership but financing could use a little tweaking but I think we can all say that about all car dealerships. Other then that thanks!

I was referred to Brian from a friend. I needed dependable transportation for my 2 school age kids and myself after separating from my husband. I felt helpless and afraid of making a wrong decision. In addition, I have difficulty trusting due to past experiences. So with a leap of faith I called Brian and my children and I met with him and expressed our needs. He took such great care of us and I felt that we were in caring hands. He kept the line of communication open over several weeks until he found a perfect match. I believe he went above and beyond to get me into a safe dependable car with low miles which gave me peace of mind to take road trips with my young kids. Service was courteous and fast. Sam Latto informed me that if I filled out survey would receive free oil change. That was nice to inform me of that. The vending machines were out of service though. This was an inconvience though.

We purchased a new Civic from Brian at Hendrick Honda and are very pleased. We have not had any service done there yet but that will come this week. I did give a 5 for quality of work because Brian did take the license plate from my truck, hammered out all the trailer dings in it and secured it to the new Honda. Although he is a Gamecock fan, he did move my Tiger front plate to the new car as well without any grimaces or foul play.We will buy from Brian and Hendrick again!

I had to have a tire replaced on my new CR-Z. I usually go to a local mom n pop repair place near my home. They were unable to get the tire, so I went to Honda (where I purchased my car). Past experiences with other dealerships has not been good. But I was very pleasantly surprised by the friendliness, service, and price at Hendrick Honda. Timmy was very friendly and helpful and has convinced me to use Hendrick Honda for all of my service needs in the future.It was overall a very pleasant experience.

Service was good, someone came right up to me and asked how they could assist me. I was in to get an oil change, they told me the price and I was able to use my rewards points towards it, plus he gave me $3 off. He said it would be about an hour and that was about the length of time I had to wait but there was coffee and televison to keep me occupied. All and all I had a good experience.

This was my first servce on our new Honda and Timmy greeting me at the door and made me feel right at home, he was courteous and friendly explained the details of the service they would be preforming and the associated cost. I enjoyed talking to him and felt comfortable my car would be well taking care of in his capable hands. He gave me a time of approximately 45 min to complete the service but it was done much sooner to my surprise. I look forward to my next planned service with Hendrick Honda of Charleston in the near future.

I broke my rearveiw mirror while throwing my purse into my car. It happened the day before. I showed up to get pricing and they got me in that very same day, had the part in store and I was ready to go in less that 20 minutes. That is a huge deal for just showing up! I expected a new model ( 2012 Civic) to be hard to get and expensive. I was pleasantly surprised and enjoy the new car. My first visit was to get a part for a friends' car - I was overwhelmed by the service staff, and that convinced me to choose a Honda over other alternatives.

The customer service in the Service department is fabulous. The guys had my oil changed and car ready to go in less than twenty minutes, with no wait time at all. Very satisfied with all I talked with. First time buying a used car, always bought new so we've been pretty picky and I think we got a good car, it might have been a little high on the price but it was very clean for a 99. If I had anything to say that might be negative is that finance needs to be a little more friendly. I'm in the homebuilding industry and I see the same comments on my surveys about finance so maybe that's just the way it is. All in all great job, was pleasantly suprised on the experience..thank you. By the way my daughter LOVES it.

I came in "just to look", and came home with a new car. My daughter bought her van from Bob in September 2010, but Bob had retired, so we met Frank. We looked on Tuesday of last week, came back Wednesday and looked, came back Thursday to deal but my car was gone! Frank took my number and called as soon as the new ones came in. We came in today, test drove, did some wheeling and dealing, and came home happy. His customer service was great, he was friendly and very knowledgable. My overall experience was great, so much so, that I made sure to get extra business cards to give out to all my friends. My nine year old grandson already has his mind set on taking over the new car when he turns 16, by that time, he says I'll "be too old to drive". Now you know why I had to get one with a sunroof!

Thanks to this dealership (and some fortunate turn of events), I walked out with a 05 Honda Accord coupe of my dreams. When me and my friend pulled up, we were greeted by Bernie who from the start, had a cool and calm head. He asked me what I was looking for specifically and wound up narrowing down two cars, neither of which were my dream car, but would have sufficed. After much deliberation, I told Bernie that I was going to walk around and look at some other cars which he wasn't upset about. After checking next door, I found a car I was interested in, and he transferred it over and we test drove. I immediately fell in love (with the car that is) and looked over the paperwork and carfax, and made my decision. I would recommend this dealership to anyone to go to and ask for Bernie, especially if you like Honda's. He worked with Honda for years and thanks to his non-pushy attitude and patience (along with my patience), I have a car, I never thought I would see myself driving (yet could always imagine it)!

I contacted Matt (Sales Mgr) on Friday to let him know that I would be in on Saturday to help my daughter purchase a vehicle after graduating from MUSC. I asked that he connect us with an sales rep that help her through the process since I am from GA.We arrived on Saturday morning and met Frank Giovannone. He did exactly what I had asked for in that he was very helpful to us and showed us exactly what we asked to see. At our last purchse in 2003 we swore we would never go back after having the salesman Carl Deer...We found out that he was no longer there and that is why we returned to Honda.Bernie completely changed our attitude being a super great saleman. He was understanding and cared what we were saying and what we were looking for. The finance person John was a breeze to deal with. The overall experience was a 5 star and give stars all the way.

I have been to many car dealerships, and Hendrick Honda has surpassed all of them in every category. The incredible salesman, Bernie Boettcher, would bend over backwards for anyone, and it seemed like everyone else would do the same. Bernie really took the time and actually listened to what I was saying and responded accordingly. He did not just rattle off a speech that seemed pre-planned. He was conscious of my needs and limitations and I have never had a better experience. The service department is equally impressive as exemplified in their exceptional decorum and hospitality. The rest of the dealership is spotless and every person greeted you with a smile! Thanks Hendrick, and BERNIE! You guys are the BEST!

I wasn't looking for a new car but was told about some incentives/discounts that were being offered by Honda. It was not a hard decision to buy a new Civic. At 0.9% financing, it was too good to pass. I have bought 3 other cars from this dealership and have always gotten outstanding pricing and service. My saleman and the general manager were great to work with... They were professional and courteous, and within an hour of stepping on the lot, I drove off with a new car for a great price.

I purchased a 2008 Honda Civic EX, 5spd manual transmission, with 37k miles today and it's a great car so far! I was greeted in a friendly manner upon my first visit by Bernie Boettcher, one of the salesmen there. He was very professional and demonstrated exceptional knowledge of the vehicles, prices, performance, options... you name it; if you had a question about something, Bernie knew the answer to it. The car that I initially went to look at had already been sold, but Bernie took me around the lot to show me models of similar price, quality, mileage, etc. I left feeling somewhat discouraged, but then again perhaps I was far too specific with what I was looking for. I returned roughly a week later, with a more open mind and an appointment scheduled with Bernie in advance. He already had a few cars on the lot picked out that he thought I might be interested in, and I test drove the EX that I am now the proud owner of. Instantly I felt like it was the car for me. It was clean, ran great, was thoroughly inspected, and the test drive was very enjoyable; however, it was a little out of my price range. Through the next several days I texted back and forth with Bernie trying to settle on a price that was fair to myself and Hendrick Honda of Charleston. After much deliberation and number-crunching, I found a price that fit my budget, and Bernie was able to make it work. I walked off the lot with a great Honda Civic for an equally great price. Thanks to everyone at Hendrick Honda of Charleston for making my experience there a pleasant one.

Both Bernie and John exceeded my expectations, when I arrived at Hendrick Honda in West Ashley, SC and left driving my new certified 'used' car, a 2008 Civic. They were both friendly, knowledgable, patient and offered creative solutions to my specific needs. I also had occasion to return within a few days after purchase because of a damaged sun visor. I called Bernie, and he set up my appointment. I was literally in and out of the service department in less than five minutues, with my problem resolved ( a new visor was installed). The service staff was considerate and helpful and the waiting area was roomy and comfortable. I would highly recommend Hendrick Honda of Charleston!! They were outstanding!

I came in for a 30,000 mile service on my Honda Odyssey and was looking around when Paige intruduced herself and i went from just looking to test driving a Ridgeline, to Purchaseing a new Honda Pilot. Their are two things i have never down,1- never bought a new vehicle, always preowned,2-never made a desision the same night i loooked. I first went to the internet and connected with Brett. He emailed me within and hour and gave me an internet price which was much lower than two other dealers that I had emailed. Two days later we went to the dealer and test drove the car similar to the one we wanted and it was just as we hoped, the car was great although not the interior that we wanted. Brett said that he would get us car with our interior within two days and he did. We picked up the car in three working days after the test drive, great job.

First of all my wife, Pam, and I didn't really go to purchase a new car that Saturday afternoon. We were just going to start the "looking" process. Rick Hendrick Honda was our first dealership to visit. Bob Hamlin came up to us soon upon arriving. He showed us the Honda Civic which was the car we wanted to see first, and after determining it was to small for our needs, we looked at the Honda CR-V. Bob was very patience with us taking the time to show us every CR-V on the lot. We decided that we liked the CR-V so much that we didn't want to look anywhere else. With .9% financing for 60 months and $2,500.00 for my 10 year old JEEP we closed the deal, and took our CR-V to its new home. Went here to trade in my wife's Trailblazer for a van. Found a van online that we liked and liked the price. Went to the dealership and test drove and decided to talk about a price. They came back with a price and a monthly payment of $450 a month for a 4 year loan, saying they couldn't find anyone that would give a 5 or 6 year loan. $400 the maximum we wanted to pay. They gave the whole what does it have to be to get you into the van speech. My wife said $425, and he left and came back with a $429 number. We gave in because she liked the van and purchased it on what we thought was a $429 for 4 year loan. Now I am looking at our statement and all Rick Bowers did was move the years from a 4 year to a 5 year loan without telling us. So now we are paying $3500 more in interest at $429 for 5 years than we would at $450 for 4 years and they said nothing about that change, just rushed us out the door after taking every second of our time they possibly could while our 2 kids were starving for dinnertime.Also, they made us buy a $1200 warranty on the certified vehicle because they said the bank wanted to make sure we wouldn't have to worry about maintenance. I guess they didn't have too much confidence on thier certifying the vehicle if we needed a warranty.Dishonest ripoffs of a dealership. You should be ashamed at your financial swindling of a Marine trying to buy a van for his wife and soon to be 3 kids.

I first had asked for Ernie Banks,my son had worked with him years ago at that dealership. Ernie was with a customer and introduced me to Bernie Boettcher. Bernie made me feel right at home and took away all my fears of buying a car. Bernie listened to what I wanted and found just the right Honda Accord 2008 for me. I was nervous about the financing for some reason which wasn't a problem and Bernie keep reasurruring me I was worring for nothing. I was hoping to wait until the first on the year for a car,so this was like a overnight decision to buy a car Saturday.I felt so relaxed and comfortable around Bernie,he made buying a car enjoyable!!!!!!Everyone that was working that day was friendly and spoke to me when they came by.I didn't get to talk with Ernie Banks much,but he came by and made sure that Bernie was taking good care of me! The finance man was super nice(can't remember his name).The only negative thing was my trade in. I understand the problem(speed odom),but still it would have been nice to get something for it! Some other warrents I got helped ease the pain. I will recommended Bernie Boettcher to anyone I know looking to buy a car.Great guy! As far as customer service and the friendliness rating go, we were greeted immediately and serviced despite the fact our original contact was sick. There was no high pressure sales pitch during the sale of the vehicle. The salesperson was a great mediator between us and the manager in negotiating a final sale price. One complaint,however,I have is the amount of time it took to finalize the sale. We arrived at 10AM and did not leave with the vehicle until 3:45. Our plans were to go to lunch while they prepared the paperwork but were asked not to because it would only take an hour tops to complete. Big mistake on our part for staying way over the 2 hour mark.

Everyone who works here is extremely friendly and helpful. The only problem we saw was the time it took to buy the car. We had to wait for Bernie as he was with another customer when we came back, which was no problem. However, from the time we finished our end of the paperwork after taking a final test drive to walking out the door was a significant wait.

Usually when you walk into a dealership it is not a busy place and Hendrick Honda was buzing with customers - inside and walking around outside. Initially, I was impressed that Brett utilized an underused opportunity for businesses and representatives of these businesses to promote themselves and gain potential customers through Blackbaud's internal "Perk" page. Being in sales myself, I thought that was definitely a great way to get someone to come in which I did based on reading his information about the special promotions offered to Blackbaud Employees.In the past, my experiences with auto purchases has been awful at best with me not feeling like I had the room to make the best decision for me. Brett was very good about putting me at ease and was thorough in responding to my initial requests and concerns even before I stepped a foot on the lot.While there, Brett listened attentively...provided me with some great insights and several options based on what I had indicated were my priorities and needs. Having someone that is customer-focused is a big plus and definitely made the difference in my decision to purchase froom Honda vs. others I had been considering.I'll definitely be talking him and Honda up to my other colleagues here at Blackbaud and steer them appropriately when considering an auto purchase in the future.

I performed all my due-diligence and research into the exact car I wanted. I try to be a very informed, knowledgeable female when shopping for a large purchase. I traveled with all my research paperwork and competitors pricing. Once I decided the car was going to be a Pilot over a Highlander, I began shopping dealers and the Internet to find the car I wanted with the features I desired. This Honda dealer gave me the BEST price of all. I had a maximum price range to spend and had no intentions of purchasing a brand new car. Ernie and the manager, Matt, were able to give me a terrific price for my trade-in, as well as the best price I had received overall for a brand new 2011 one off the lot. Other sales people from other dealers have been in contact during this process, and your other local competitive dealership salesperson, said that he wouldn't have been able to match that. Although I am partial to the white/black combination, and see several on the road, I am very much liking the mocha/gold color I purchased. Based on friends raving and consumer reports over the years, I decided to buy a Honda. I am extremely happy with the car so far, and hope to purchase more in the future. The dealership and sales people were a delight to be with. Ernie was very patient as I spent several hours there before finally making my decision. I came prepared to the dealership knowing exactly what I wanted and how much I wanted to spend. He was a delight to deal with. Rick Bowers, your Finance manager, was also very helpful in explaining all the paperwork and process to me. It took a few days for my funds to clear and they were very understanding of that process.The entire experience was a positive one. My experience at Hendrick Honda was great, Bernie made it easy to find our new vehicle for a great deal. He was very friendly and professional and helped us find the perfect civic to fit our needs. We were torn between buying from Stokes Honda and Hendrick, but in the end Hendrick prevailed by offering us a better deal with a bumper to bumper warranty. I will refer anyone looking for a vehicle to Bernie at Hendrick Honda because of his professional "straight-shooter" attitude that eliminates haggling.

The General Manager, Don Boyle and Sales & Leasing Consultant, Bob Hamlin should be commended for a great job. Their actions kept me as a Honda customer. They provided top notch customer service, listened to my concerns, made me feel like a valued customer and corrected the wrongs of a previous sales person at the dealership. I was planning on never leasing from Honda again but gave Hendrick Honda one last chance. Don & Bob retained me through their hard work and I leased a new Honda Civic last week. First of all, we where not looking to buy an automobile when we requested a quote on line. With that being said, Brian Mullinax responded within 15 mins with a quote. It caught our interest. We had an appointment with Brian, and we were early. He told us he was with another customer and did not want us to have to wait, so he handed us off to Bernie Boettcher. Bernie was the nicest salesman, he listen to what we had to say and what we wanted. We are very satisfied with our new car. Purchasing a new car at Hendrick Honda of Charleston was the best car buying experience I have ever had. My salesman Brett Tillman was a pleasure to work with. In the past I have had terrible experiences buying a new car at other dealerships. They were not pleasant and very stressful. Brett Tillman was very informative and did not pressure me. I new what I wanted in a new car and the price I wanted to pay and he worked with me till we reached an agreement. I would definitely go back to Hendrick of Charleston and request Brett Tillman when I purchase another car!

Offer the following as constructive feedback only as my overall experience was extremely positive and I'm pleased with the exceptional service.The multi-point vehicle inspection did not flag that my car battery had corrosion on it.It was extremely helpful to have been given a heads-up a few months beforehand about the price of the timing belt and the point at which this service would be recommended.

I HATE buying cars. I do all my research ahead of time, know what the car is worth and what I want to pay and dread the car buying game that dealers insist on playing. I know Frank since last year when I tried to Lease a Honda car for the first time. Unfortunately at that time my credit was not ready for taking that step because I'm a USA resident only three years ago, but after a year of working on my credit I did not hesitate in going back to Honda dealer and specially going back to Frank to retake my desire of leasing a Honda car. I knew that no mater what, he was going to be honest with me, and let me know my possibilities without creating false expectations. I'm a family oriented person and I can say he treated me as a family member. He knows that Im a busy person due to my work, so He did not waste my time and most important he made my desire come true. Of course, like in any other business I will always wish for a better price. As an immigrant I do not take things for granted, and I will never forget the people that have gave me a hand when I need it the most, I can say Frank is one of them.As any other step that I had to face getting my way in this country, getting my first car was not easy,but today is a reality thanks to Hendrick Honda of Charleston but most of all thanks to Frank Giovannone. He care about me and my family and looked the best option for us.

our sales person went back to the next level and got us the price we were happy with.she was very personable,helpful and friendly.she called us the day before we came in and made a trade for our lease on the phone and when we got to Henrick today the price came in at first at more than we had been told it would be,but she went back in and got us the deal we had expected to get in the first place.we left with the car we wanted and very pleased with every aspect of our deal..

We have always been pleased with the service that we receive at Hendrick Honda. The service advisors are always pleasant and helpful about answering questions. Those who actually service the vehicles seem knowledgable and have always done a good job in a timely manner. My only criticism is that dealership services still cost a little more then other service places and sometimes that factors in to where we get our service.

Mr. Hamlin made my first car buying experience wonderful! I visited him four months ago when I was really just in the looking process. He understood that I wasn't ready to buy at the moment and did not pressure me to make any commitments that day. I shopped around and and had bad experiences with other dealers. When I came back to Hendrick Honda ready to buy, Bob was so helpful and patience with me being a first time car buyer. When I bought my car, I felt confident that I was getting the great car that I wanted, not just what the dealer talked me into. I drove off the lot with a great car and a big smile on my face thanks the Mr. Hamlin and Rick Hendrick Honda!

Frank was very helpful, friendly, and ready to talk car with us. The only "issue" was having to wait so long to get to Finance. Other than that, it was a most remarkable, pain-free experience. I LOVE my Honda Odyssey. At the present, there is nothing I would have changed about my experience other than the long wait for Finance. But once we got there, it was a very good experience also.

Our sales associate, Jim Ozturk was honest, very personable, and helpful in every respect. We liked Jim from the outset. Hendrick Honda is very fortunate to have Jim as one of their sales associates. This is the eighth new car we have purchased and we have played the new car "buying game" with more than one dealership. This was unlike most other experiences we have had. Jim made it that way. There was no pressure and no hassles--no having to meet the sales manager prior to leaving the dealership on the first visit to hear the "what kind of deal can we make today" pitch. We used the USAA Car Buying Service which the dealership participates in and that assisted us in our purchase. That was a factor in our selection of Hendrick Honda. We were very impressed with the appearance and professionalism of the dealership overall.

I received a 60,000 mile service. The tires were not rotated. I can tell this by what tire wear was indicated by the mechanic. The battery was changed, however the electrolyte residue was not cleaned and looks unprofessional. The car was not cleaned or vacumned, which I would expect for a repair bill that exceeds $700. A coolant flush was also recommended, however from what I have read this service is not scheduled until 120,000 miles or 10 years. I would like further clarification on this matter since this implies recommended repairs that are not required. I will no longer do business with this service department.

The reason for my bad overall experience was because I had asked for my tires to be rotated and after getting home realized they were not, also I was told I have a possible oil leak and there is no oil dripping on the ground when I pull out of my spot. I felt as though they were trying to get me to spend more money than I had too. As for the price, I had a coupon for $14.95. This issue has nothing to do with Greg it is the service department that received this end result.

I have had a 15 year relationship with Hendricks Dodge and had two Dodge vans serviced there. When I decided to downsize, I immediately decided to try to work with Hendricks Honda since I was very interested in the Fit and had done considerable research about the car. Foremost, I was interested in reliability, mileage and the Fit's storage capacity.Frank Giovannone was very cordial,informative and professional. Even though I did have my husband with me, I felt that Frank was talking to me. I think that the price was fair; since this was a used car I also was concerned with warranty issues. \\I hope to have a great Honda experience.

This was the second time I worked with Paige and she was amazing again! I loved her. She did everything she possibly could to get me in the car that I wanted. She was personable and funny, as well as super knowledgeable and informative about all the vehicles.When it came time to finance the vehicle even though he was the only finance guy there, Mr Bowers (who had been working his tail off and hadn't even had a bathroom break since I arrived around 1pm - it was nearly 6pm) had an amazing attitude and walked me through all the paperwork, explaining everything beyond my satisfaction. He helped me get a great sales rate and advised me on the best finance options available for my situation. I would ABSOLUTELY go back, and recommend both of them to my friends. We initially purchased a used white 2005 Honda Accord from Sam Latto in November of 2009. Sam was very friendly, professional, and thorough. His product knowledge was impressive. Recently, we saw a black 2008 Honda Accord on your website, and decided to take a look. The 2008 was more of the body style and color that we were looking for. We have never traded in a car so soon after purchasing (the 2005), but Sam made the transaction very easy and painless. I would say that purchasing this car was by far the best experience of all the vehicles I have purchased. Brett was very helpful, professional and friendly. He based his schedule on when I was able to be there. He stayed late the day I purchased the vehicle. He was not in a hurry, he explained all the vehicles to me to help me decide which vehicle was best for me. He handled the paperwork in a professional manner and explained everything that he was doing and asked me to sign. The staff was very very friendly. The labor seems pricey compared to how little the parts cost but no one likes dropping $1200 on a car at one time. It was nice to be able to buy the tires from the dealership since they were very competitively priced.

Kelly is awesome. She seemedto be one of the more high pressure sales people I have worked with. That didn't affect my own purchase because I had a good plan of attack for my purchasing process. It was really nice that at 2045 she was still willing to help move all of my personal belongings between vehicles. Bernard was disgruntled he was working so late. It was nice that he neglected to offer any extended warranty coverages, but I am sure that is against Honda policy. His one word answers and poor demeanor made for a horrible experience.

He asked me how much I was willing to put in a down payment and what I wanted my monthly payment to be and worked with me from there. I went there expecting nothing but bad news, but he kept me positive and helped me to purchase my first car. I've never been so happy to work with such an amazing employee. i do not like to haggle about prices and when i communicated this to Bernie, he respected my wishes and offered the best price in only 2 trys. my new car had to be brought from Charlotte and when i received it, bernie took the time to show me all the details associated with my car. Didn't care for the financial guy- maybe money men just don't have a sense of humor. great experience overall especialy when compared to the other Honda dealership in Charleston.

When looking to purchase our new car, my wife and I visited several auto dealerships, many of which tried to pressure us into an end of the month sale. Sam did not try to force us into the purchase; he gave us the information and was very accommodating about allowing us to test drive the CR-V with two small children. I feel like we got a fair price for the vehicle, on par with what Edmunds was reporting with no haggling necessary.

The Service POC (Greg) did not get back with me after I dropped off my car till the end of the day. The drop off was at 10 a.m. He finally calls to let me know I need a timing belt replacement on top of the 60K...so how receptive am I going to be at rating him either great or good??? he also did not fully explain the 7 yr. versus 105 miles for that replacement, until I asked...???As a friend of mine recently stated..."I think next time I get married, I'll marry an auto mechanic." :) In other words, costs for auto repairs are very, very high, so to quantify the above remark...hold my hand while you give me the bad news...:)Now...for the good news...I would NOT take my Honda anywhere else BUT Hendrick...Hendrick Honda ROCKS!!! He was able to explain the necessary maintenance services the svu needed and recommended. I have been a customer for many years and have been very pleased with the quality and knowledge of the staff. I stopped by Hendrick Honda On Saturday 2/12 to look for used Honda CRV's. I was greeted with a warm smile and a handshake by Frank. I told that I thought that I had seen some CRVs that were uder 20k. Frank took me over to look at the inventory he had on the lot. All the ones we saw were around 21k. I told him that I would have to go back home and do some more research. Sunday I sent Frank 3 stock numbers and prices that I had seen on the internet and made arrangements to come in on Tuesday to test drive and see more of the three CRV's. Tuesday I met Frank and the dealership and he had the keys ready. We opened each of the three and looked inside for comparison. I settled on a blue '07 and we proceded to take a test drive. Near the end of the test drive Frank asked if I wanted to take it by my wife's work to show her, since I would be buying it for her. We did so and she LOVED it. Upon returning to the dealership and going over the numbers, I decided that this ws the vehicle for me and agreeed to purchase it. From the moment Frank introduced himself on my first visit I knew that he was a good guy and truely had my best interests in mind. The process was painless and all things considered relatively easy. I would definately reccomend Hendrick Honda and especially Frank to anyone that I knew of looking for a vehicle.Doug Collins

I have been a long time Honda driver and have found that over the years the service I receive is always good. Today was no exception. Robbie was curtious and helpful. The repair itself took less time than anticipated and I was on my way in no time. I also noticed that fluid levels and tire wear were checked as well.

This was the first car I have ever purchased so i was very nervous going into it. For the most part everyone was very supportive and understanding. But toward the end of the deal I felt very pressured. Granted I used to work Used car salesman selling advertising space and I know there number one rule is to not let the customer leave the lot but I feel like I would have been more comfortable with my purchase had I had more time to research it. In the end I am very happy with my car. I am glad they convinced me to buy it.

I love coming to Hendrick Honda to get service completed. I received an oil change last time and had a cargo net installed. I was given a discount on my oil change when i really needed that and i really appreciated that. It was a financial burden that was not an issue and I was still able to get the required oil change. I will ALWAYS bring my car to get service here because of the wonderful customer service and the fast way that my car is completed. Today when I went in to obtain my 2nd oil change, the service guy mentioned to me that it was time for my tire rotation. That has never been mentioned to me and in the long run, saved me money on purchasing new tires to early.....Thank you Hendricks Honda!!

This was our first time that we considered leasing a car and we had many questions. Sam was very knowledgeable and patient with all of our questions. Sam took us around the facility and introduced us to other employees, including the service department, which was very important to me. As a female, it is not always a pleasant experience having to take your car to be serviced, for various reasons. After looking at subsequent dealerships, I knew that I felt most comfortable bringing my car back to the Honda dealership to be serviced and for any additional business transactions in the future. When it was time to buy the car, Sam had the one that we picked out cleaned and ready to go before we got to the dealership. The turnaround time to sign the paperwork was very reasonable and Sam went over everything with us. He even assisted us in adding the vehicle to our car insurance. I have driven Hondas before and know that they are great cars, so we are very fortunate to have a great Honda dealership in our community.

Robbie greeted me right away when I drove into the service area. He received and credited my coupon and started the process of the oil change. Chris greeted me very warmly and promptly drove the car back to begin the oil change. They also performed an easily readable vehicle inspection. Because of the coupon, the price including tax was only $17.34 which is less than Jiffy Lube. I think everything was completed and I was back on the road in less than 30 minutes.

The guys who helped me were very motivated to help me and to not just sell a new car but to build a relationship with the customer. Con artists - make sure you pay attention, they are swindlers and fast talkers. If you agree on a price make sure you double check the interest rate and if you agree on a interest rate make sure they don't change the years on the loan.If you think everything is legit - make sure they don't go in the other room and come back and try to rush you out with different paperwork then you agreed on - they are probably about to con you like they did me.

Went in for oil change. This and tire rotation was completed. Was informed by Greg of the Master Cylinder seal recall of which I hadn't yet been notified. I had the recall work done and this saved me a trip. Gregs time to complete work was close. Since your coffee is good I didn't mind the wait. Reading material is average. However when I had service at Coggins in Jacksonville Fl. they provided donuts, rolls & fruit. Just a suggestion! ( extra points)

Honda goes above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to customer service. This is my first Honda vehicle. A shuttle service is offered although yesterday it didn't work with my schedule; complimentary bottled water, flavored coffee and tea are offered. There must have been 15 cars being worked on at the same time and the wait time is much less than other repair shops I've been to in the past. I watched out the service door from time to time yesterday and there was always a man working on my van.Thank you!

I was very pleased with my recent visit to Rick Hendrix Honda in Charleston,SC. I was not sure how my experience at this dealership was going to be. As I drove into the dealership, I was greeted by a very nice yourg man. When I told him what I was looking for, he porceeded to show me exactly what I was looking for. He seem to know the ins and outs from the brand of car to the financing.I have recommened this dealership to my family and friends.

Very pleasurable time dealing with Kelly. She was very polite and not pushy. I would recommend her to a friend. I love the cars she showcased to me. I ended up getting a Honda CRV, and I just love it. Very good pick up and price on it was very reasonable. I will return here for my next car.

Sam did a good job. Wish there could have been more flexible on pricing. Only uncomfortable part was the sell job (not by sam) by the dealership on "insurance" for quality issues on product - aka "extended warranty-bumper to bumper".....working for aircraft industry, i often wonder how many people would board a plane that needed an "extended warranty" on a "Certified Used" by the company who produce the product....?

From the phone call to Kevin Mink to schedule my CRV's 30,000 mile service, to when I brought the car in (within 1 day of my call), he made it very easy to do so. He was accurate in forecasting the amount of time needed to do this very thorough servicing and the cost for it.His pleasant manner and his very detailed explanation of the Multi Point Vehicle Inspection left me feeling very comfortable about dealing with him and Hendrick Honda.

After applying for an auto loan through my credit union and getting ready to start searching for an affordable used vehicle at what I thought was a great rate, I came across the add for the 0.9% financing for a new Honda. Through friends and people at work, I have heard nothing but great things about Hondas including their reliability and fuel economy. I figured it wouldnt hurt to take a look but didnt really think anything would come of it. I live on Johns Island and after looking online found that the Hendrick Honda off of Savannah Highway would be the closest dealership. After arriving at the dealership I spoke with Bernard Tolton in financing and found him to be very friendly and accommodating in answering my questions. He told me to find something I might be interested in and he was confident that the team would be able to make a deal happen that would also be something I would be comfortable with. I was then set up with Brett from the Sales Dept. who showed me the inventory of what I was interested in which were the Civics. I also saw a few Accords. He was very knowledgeable about the products and was not overbearing or pushy. I did find the Civic I wanted which was the perfect model, color, and had all the right extras or lack thereof. Brett brought us inside and asked a few questions and filled out a few forms. We had a deal in no time and I was amazed at the great price, value and ease of the situation. As this is my first new car purchase, I have definitely changed my thinking in regards to expecting the hassle that car dealers typically are known for as this was the opposite situation. Brett was very concerned about the length of time things were taking but we found the entire process to be very efficient. Once we were set up with Rick in financing the paperwork couldnt have taken more than 15 minutes. The experience at Hendrick Honda was very enjoyable from the get go with the knowledgeable and friendly staff (everyone we spoke with), the great pricing and financing and efficiency of the process. Hendrick Honda has an exceptional team in place! I am excited for my new purchase and will definitely recommend this dealership!

We recently bought a new Honda Fit from Paige Suttle of Hendrick Honda. This is the BEST car buying experience I have EVER had. Paige was amazingly friendly, honest, helpful, and patient throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend paying Paige Suttle a visit if you are in the market for a Honda. She went over everything in great detail, leaving no questions/concerns unanswered. We got the most for our trade-in, and the best price on the Fit that we have seen around. I had a 2004 Honda Accord with approximately 193,000 miles, and my husband and I decided to look for a new vehicle for me. (Not that we had to buy a new car; having had the Accord serviced at Honda dealers its entire life it was still in perfect running condition). We went to another Charleston area Honda dealer first, but they didn't have what we were looking for. Back home we researched Hendrick Honda, and found they had several vehicles that fit our critera (a used Accord LX with low mileage). Sam Latto came out to greet us, showed us the vehicles and let me test drive one. Of course already having owned an Accord I knew what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised with some new features. We weren't really planning to purchase a car that day (we were only looking), but Sam and the sales team worked with us to get us a really great deal, so we bought a 2010 Accord LX with approximately 13,900 miles, and traded in the 2004 Accord. Sam went above and beyond the call of duty, in that he had to follow us home to pick up a check for the vehicle! He calls us often to follow up and see how we're doing with the new car. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Sam Latto and Hendrick Honda to friends. My husband owns an Element, and we will be servicing both vehicles at Hendrick when we're in South Carolina for the winter months. (We live in New Jersey for seven months out of the year.)

I was in the market for a new car and wanted to try a Honda. I had been a Nissan customer for 20+ years. Due to some very disappointing experiences with Nissan, friends had recommended Honda. My experience at Hendrix Honda was way above and beyond a great experience. The salesperson, Paige Suttle, was very helpful and went the extra mile/s to answer all my questions. She was exceptionally friendly and made sure I was given the best service at the dealership. Her managers also were very cooperative and helpful. After the technical aspects were decided, I chose a color (green) that I wanted. The dealership made sure they got this for me which they had to do from their sister dealer in Hilton head. They delivered quickly and as they promised. The service department and all the folks I met at the dealership were right on the mark and very pleasant to work with. I am so happy I chose Honda this go around and not the "other" make car that has lost my business. Honda has won me over! Paige Suttle was a very big part of that experience.

Great costumer service. I wasn't even planning to buy a car, I had only gone for the 30,000 mile maintenance on my prior vehicle and I was offered to buy a new car. They worked with me to get the monthly payment wherer it would be worth getting a new car. When we met a reasonable amount, I purchased the new car.

I had a very good experience buying my Honda Fit. I was not pressured at all. They had the car I wanted, and a good stock of colors to choose from. I felt that the salesman worked hard to get the price of the car to where I was comfortable with the payment. I am very happy with my new car, and with the way I was treated at the dealership.

As much as we all hate the length of time to process the paperwork portion on new car sales I had a most pleasant experience. Sam and Bernard were fantastic to work with and I appreciate the attention to detail in all aspects of my transaction. I will come back.

It was time for our regular oil change. It's most convenient for us to come on the weekends because we both work from home. Hendrick Honda was more than accommodating in order to get us an appointment in the early afternoon on a Saturday--and then were perfectly understanding when we ended up being 20 minutes late.Initially, we were told that we needed various 60,000 mile service and that it would take approximately 3.5 hours and cost around $350. Okay. We accepted and were ready to leave. Greg Engert verified a few things in the computer and determined that we'd had a number of the service options performed during our last visit. As a result, the time would only be 1.5 hours and cost only $150.Needless to say, we were gratified at the honesty (how often do you take your car in and get told it will be LESS expensive?) and friendliness of the staff. A perfect experience, overall.

I went shopping for a new car and have always heard how great Hondas are. Without knowing much about this dealership, I gave them a shot. They provided me with excellent service and made me feel very comfortable with my purchase. I will definitely refer others to this dealership. I also had a pleasant experience in the service dept. Would go back :)

As soon as I drove into the service center of the dealership I was greeted by Greg. He took my information, asked what I wanted done with my car and got me on my way. The wait wasn't too long for a Saturday so that was nice. I have had bad customer service experiences before, and this dealership always makes me happy I bring my car to them.

My search for a new car had four main criteria: 1) hybrid; 2) new/really good warranty; 3) my cash budget; and 4) cruise control (odd sticking point, but I can't imagine life without it). I was primarily looking at the Prius II and the Honda Insight. I was really pleased to be able to buy a new car (and exactly what I wanted!) at Hendrick Honda. Brett understood that I truly wanted to buy from the Hendrick family as that is where I had bought my first car (1991 Accord LX) 20 years ago, and where I went for every service appointment on that vehicle. He was great at explaining my options and trying to work around my frustrations at matching what i wanted (a 2011 Honda Insight with cruise control) with what i could afford. He showed me a few other options (a few used Civic Hybrids, 2011 Honda Fit) but could tell I just wasn't feeling good about compromising on my new car wish list. He could appreciate my frustration with the dealership 'add-ons' to the on-site Insights, and there were details included in the pricing that I could not justify paying for (like striping and cargo nets). He worked hard with the managers to assure them I was a serious and loyal buyer and to negotiate a good price and trade-in value for me. With some 'stick-to-it-iveness,' 24 hours later, he was able to help me drive off the lot with a brand new Insight LX with all the features I wanted and all within my budget.Brett was very personable, friendly, direct, and when asked for information he wasn't sure of, said so and promptly found the answer. He never devalued the competition (which was refreshing after an exhausting day of hard-edged salesmanship at a few other dealerships) and instead focused on really trying to find a good fit for me. He made himself available on his day off by phone and at the dealership to work around my schedule and followed up appropriately, without being overly aggressive or intrusive into my work day. I am very happy with my decision and pleased that I will be able to continue patronizing the Hendrick Honda Service Center with my new hybrid. I would absolutely recommend Brett and the Hendrick Honda group to any friends who might be in need of a vehicle.

I would like to thank Ed Ward for the professional manner in which he treated me. I have an extremely busy schedule and he was very mindful of my time. Mr. Ward helped to make the entire process smooth and simple from the initial test drive to driving off the lot in my new car. His knowledge of the car was very impressive. I bought my new Pilot in Aug.2009 and have been very happy with the dealership. All though the process of picking my new car and buying it all the people I worked with were great and maid the process easy. Since then bring the car in for regular service has been a plesure,quick and easy. I love my Pilot and the dealership is great!

My experience with Hendrick Honda could not have been any better! Everyone I met during the process was knowledgeable and efficient. Both Frank and Brett were very easy to work with and provided answers to my endless questions. When I first visited Hendrick Honda, Frank came over right away and introduced himself and then began to show me vehicles even though his shift was over-definitely made a great impression! The second time I visited, I took a test drive with Brett who was very friendly, non pushy, and patiently answered all my questions-also made a great impression!

Our saleman Frank was very professional and went out of his way to answer questions and to assist us with the purchase of a 2008 pilot. He introduced us to the Hendrix staff here in charleston and in subsequent months they have all proven to be pleasant and eager to help. We have recommended Hendrix Honda as the place to buy a Honda and Frank Giovannone in particular as the Sales person of choice.

When I drove on to the car lot I was met by Frank Giovannone and told him that I did not like to be pressured or talked down to. The experience with Frank was great. He spoke to me as a equal and did not try to pressure me into buying a car right at that minute. (I did buy one but did not feel pressured) He answered my questions and directed me to the merits of the vehicle that I was looking at. The price was right and the the vehicle was the right one for me. The process of filling out the paperwork was a little long for my taste but I think that is the length of time no matter what dealer you go too. My overall experience with Hendrick Honda and Frank was great, I got the car that was right for me and have enjoyed it now for almost a year.

Looking for a new car can sometimes be frustrating between husband and wife, along with dealership. We visited another dealership to look at prices. Of course, we had a price in mind. That dealership was not interested in negotiating with us. Hendrick Honda of Charleston was wonderful. The people in the office, Rick Bower and Matt, handled our finances great. Bernie Boettcher, was like the neighbor next door. He made us feel comfortable and took into consideration our feelings. Would I buy again from Hendricks, you bet. Thanks

We recently decided to trade cars due to the expense of the car which we presently owned. Needless to say, dreading this decision for two reasons: (1) having to go in debt for a car, and (2) the uncomfortable process of going to a car dealership and dealing with all of the hassle. You can imagine I started the relentless process of selecting a car very reluctantly. I visited several dealerships and was met with numerous personality types. Some salesman are for the most part very pushy and overwhelming. These car dealerships really need to work on making this a more pleasurable experience. After driving three or four vehicles in the North Area, at my wifes suggestion, I drove to Rick Honda on Savannah Highway and that was just the beginning of a new experience as far as searching for a car. Upon arriving at the dealership I was warmly welcomed and greeted by Bernie Boettcher who I must say, was a breath of fresh air. His first response when looking at our car was why do you want to get rid of it? To which I replied to him we needed something to hall all the grandchildren. He showed me several different Honda Pilots and he rode with me to show my wife. Never once did I feel pressured or uncomfortable. He was very down to earth and you really felt like he was a friend and not someone trying to close a deal. This was truly a different perspective on purchasing a car. We did not feel that we had to purchase a car that very day. Usually that is how the experience had been in the past. When we finally decided to purchase the car, in spite of my wifes reluctance we met with the finance manager, Rick Bowers. He was very friendly and was very helpful in directing us in the financing of the car. Believe me even talking to Mr. Bowers was like someone you had known for a long time, not your typical finance manager. We left feeling relieved and felt that we had made the right decision for the right car. If we had to do it over again, we would definitely go back to Bernie Boettcher at the Rick Honda dealership because of the total buying experience. No pressure and no hassle and stress free. Best experience I have ever had in purchasing a vehicle and I have been around a long time. Thanks to Bernie, Rick Bowers and Matt which put the deal together for us.

I gave the rating I did because I was extremely satisfied with everything from the friendlyness to the helpfulness. I wouldn't ever go to a different dealership. I would recommend this to everyone I know. We couldn't ask for a better dealership to deal with.

Did not fully understand question #2 (Quality of Work). If it pertained soley to Bernie, then I give him a 5, but if it pertains to the dealership, I would give it something lower {3 or 4}because of the mediocre detailing of the truck after the sale but before I picked it up. Specifically, a strong smoke smell remained in the cabin; the truck bed had not been cleaned well. A good hosing would have dislodged the mud and grit; and the storage area and spare tire had been hosed but not wiped or cleaned. However, that cannot and should not be attributed to Bernie because these things were not "discovered" or readily noticeable until I got the truck home and cleaned it myself.Question #5 (Price). I felt the additional $500 the manager tacked on to the price of the truck bordered on gouging. Allegedly it was for detailing the truck and getting rid of the smoke smell in the cabin -- which the detailers failed to do. However, when checking other Honda dealerships from Savannah, GA to Charlotte, NC, I found that the sale price of $25,500 was just about dead-center among the various retailers for this same vehicle with roughly the same mileage. Some dealers sold for more and others for less, but somewhere between $24,900 and $27,500 appeared to a fair and reasonable selling price.As for Bernie Boettcher himself -- he knew his product well and thoroughly. Equally important is that the fact that he is a man of his word -- a most decent, honorable, and trusted individual who consistently demonstrated all these traits while representing the dealership throughout the selling process. I would readily recommend him to family & friends and buy another vehicle from him when the time comes.

My experience with Hendrick Honda and Bernie was great. Excellent customer service was provided by ensuring everything I wanted done to the car was addressed, and done right. Brittin was great with performing the logistics to get everything fixed. The quality of work met my needs and even exceeded them in some areas. It was nice to provide the price I wanted the first time, without any haggling. Overall it was a very smooth, easy, and good experience. All personnel were very professional and friendly.

My experience at Hendrick Honda of Charleston was very pleasant. I researched on Rick Hendrick's website to find my vehicle. When I arrived at the dealer, I was greeted by Kelly who was very pleasant and helpful. Kelly thoroughly demostrated all the features on the car and answered all my questions. When it was time to get the paper work together, Bernard(the finance manager)was very helpful in getting the right loan for me. I definitly could see that there was team work at this dealership.After my experience purchacing this vehicle, I would recommend Hendrick Honda of Charleston to my friends and family.

The overall experience was very good. Bob was vey knowledgeable about the car it was like he own the very same car and could have tell me everything about it that i asked. He was very friendly and easy to talk to and he listen very carefully to what i was looking for. The hondas have come a long way with the car and design so for the quality of the car i have no argument about the price it was good to me to pay for a good car thanks honda and thank you to Bob Hamlin.

I also want to single out Carrie of the Internet staff as without her cheerfulness and helpfulness I would not have driven the 70 miles to Charleston to make an inquiry.Tony Beasenburg and Matt Agosto were VERY helpful in explaining the car and the process and ,of course, Bernie Boettcher did an outstanding job of working me through the paperwork up to and including going over the many buttons and dials on the dash. Bernie is a true professional and a credit to the Hendrick team. I do want to tell you that I had purchased other Hondas at Hendrick in the past and Hendrick is my preferred dealership. Having dealt with mostly domestic car dealerships, our expectations were pretty low when we arrived. However, we were quickly impressed with the friendly staff and low pressure environment. The negotiation process was quick and fair. This was the best car buying experience we have ever had.

I decided to purchase the CRZ from Hendrick Honda after a good experience with the repair of my CRV. I utilized USAA pricing to purchase the car. Before delivery, USAA lowered the price of the car and the dealership onored the new price without difficulty. Bernie Boettcher was very professional and responsive.

Everyone was great. It is good to know that people make a dealership and not just the name above the door. Everyones attitude was as if they had ownership and not just the place of employment. Our new friend Paige was great and sales manger Matt was upfront and honest. Rick the bank man Bowers, lets just say the experience with him was top notch he is not a just sign here guy he insures that you understands the content of each document.

Bob Hamlin is a true professional. Bob put us at ease the moment we arrived. He took the time to learn what our needs were so that he could help us choose the right vehicle for our family. Bob was extremely informed about the product and spent a good deal of time educating us about the Honda brand, and specifically the vehicle that we wanted. Bob offered us a test drive which gave us the opportunity to get more familiar with the vehicle. Bob was never pushy and made us feel at ease and comfortable throughout the entire process from the time we fist arrived until the time we drove off the lot 8 hours later the same day in our new Odyssey. I have purchase or leased over a dozen vehicles the past 15 years and this was the most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had. I own and operate a private school with over 200 families and I have already recommended Rick Hendrick and specifically Bob Hamlin to several of them. Bob is a great asset to the Rick Hendrick family and because of the way I was treated from start to finish has secured my future business for many years to come. As loyal Honda owners for the past 14 years, it was essential for us to develop a working relationship with Hendrick Honda when we moved to Charleston over a year ago. What started with the accomodating service department turned into working with a knowledgeable sales team. We are fortunate to have developed that relationship with salesman, Frank Giovannone. His understanding of our needs and driving habits has made the purchase of our 2010 Honda Civic and our 2011 CRV relatively easy and helped us stay within our budget as well. Walking into the showroom is like walking into your living room and having a conversation with a good friend, making us feel like we our a part of the Hendrick family. Our children are continuing the same loyalty to Honda products with their purchases of a Civic and Crosstour this year, knowing full well that the integrity and service of a Honda will be a good investment for them also.

I came in looking for a new car in August 2010. Unfortunately there wasnt a vechile there that met the requirments I was looking for, but Frank was great and found a Certified Pre-Owned Civic Si and I love it. Any question or concern that I have had since I purchased the car at Honda Hendrick, Frank has been there to help. I called Frank one evening because of a problem and he even though he was not on the clock, he made me feel that I was just as important to him as when I was purchasing the car. I went in the next day and the problem was fixed. I recently had the rear right speaker blow in my car and when I called the service department they fit me right in. Unfortunately it took a little longer then expected to fix the problem but everyone was very friendly and worked hard to work around my busy work schedule. I would ABSOLUTELY reccommend Hendrick Honda to friends and co-workers looking to upgrade their cars. I have dreamed of having a Honda Pilot since they first came out. Of course, they are a bit out of my price range new. However, I have three small children now, and my last car was just not cutting it as far as fitting us all in comfortably. I went to Hendrick Honda, where I have bought two cars before, and my mom has bought three, and knew I would find just what I wanted. I met Frank, and he helped me find a used Pilot that I fell in love with (as I knew I would!). At first, the price was too high still, but he and the manager worked with me and gave me a great deal on my trade-in so that I could afford it. Every step of the way, Frank made sure I was satisfied with our deal and that I was happy with my purchase. I even enjoyed the test drive, which was rare (usually they just seem so awkward to me!). I also loved his northern accent, and he was fun to talk to about it during our down time. Overall, I've always had excellent service at Hendrick Honda, and this time was no different. I, no doubt, will be back in the future to buy whatever new car I fall in love with. Of course, I plan on driving this Honda till it dies, and we all know that takes forever!
