Andrew was great. We had communicated in advance and he knew the car I wanted, how much I wanted to pay for it, and the interest rate I wanted. He is without a doubt five stars across the board. He will find THE car you're looking for. Maybe you didn't even know you wanted it yet, but that's what a good salesman does! We had been talking off and on and one day he sent me a photo of THE car, and I was done for.I'm docking one star for the rest of the staff, and the process was a little clunky, the guys up at the elevated desk (management?) seemed to take a while to get answers back during negotiations. We had to wait well over an hour for the final paperwork after we made the decision to purchase, after negotiating for a few hours. They said they only had one finance guy because it was a Saturday, but as a car buyer I would argue that Saturday is the most convenient day for me to purchase. In the age of the internet my last four vehicle purchases have all been 75 minutes or more away so it isn't an after-work adventure. If I purchase from Frederick Ford in the future I will come with a pre-approved finance check in hand.

He was knowledgeable, approachable and provided the information necessary for us to make a final decision. Stopped in just to check out the f-150's. I only had my car for a year an 1/2 and though it was a great car I wasn't happy. Andrew found me an awesome truck and his team worked hard to get me the best trade in and financing. Andrew even took the time to switch my Sirius account for me. Now I'm back in a truck and soooo happy.

Drove through the dealer ship just to look at Trucks and suvs. I spotted this f-150 and thought it was new. It turned out to be a 2015 with low mileage. Andrew sent me pictures and information and after my test drive I was the new owner. Andrew provided me with excellent service.

I went in to the dealership to buy a SUV. Because the salesman gave me a chance to look at his inventory for a reasonable amount of time, I left with Chrysler 300. I knew when Ray shook my hand that he was going to help us with a purchase. I left with my new baby that afternoon. I believe that Ray showed his 30 years of experience and professionalism and I will stop back to see him when I'm ready for my next purchase.

We were contacted by Aimee to come in that they were looking for used cars and that we could get a new car and the payment would stay the same or possibly lower. We did get a brand new car and the payment stayed the same. When we went in we explained to Ray the sales person that we were contacted and we would only trade our car in if the payment stayed the same and no out of pocket costs and that is what we got. Ray was wonderful to work with. Everything went better than expected.

I would suggest however that the finance department work to get payment as requested and if not possible cease with the process. I personally don't like feeling that I'm blindsided with a payment different than what I expected.

We came to purchase a Ford Mustang. Dustin offered to let us test a 2012 Ford Mustang. After the short drive up Rt. 13 we decided that the car was too noisy and too close to the ground. After a try to set in backseat and couldn't get out of the car we decided to reconsider another car. The car we chose was in the showroom. Dustin pulled up the price and proceeded to get the Ford finance information and we were pleased with what he gave us. We worked the deal and brought the 2016Ford Fusion home that same day.

On Aug. 28th we signed papers to buy our 2013 Toyota Sienna. It took until Oct. 14th to get our paperwork back. We were told because it was on their New Jersey lot it would take longer. Then we were told the title clerk was fired because she was to slow. We were asked to sign a contract that we would buy this vehicle site unseen because it was going to cost the dealership $200.00 to bring it from Jersey. We refused to buy something we had not seen or rode in. We asked them if they would do that and they said no. So why expect us to? To me that is a cost the dealership absorbs as any other business and I'm sure it is made up elsewhere. The paperwork was wrong after waiting almost 7 weeks. We were charged a $35.00 fee and after 7 weeks they still have to review and see if they owe us and checks are cut at the end of the month. Really? After several trips there to get things done we don't plan on going back. We have bought our last vehicle from this dealership.

This dealership is without a doubt the best dealership I have ever dealt with in my life. The staff are professional, helpful and make you feel extremely comfortable. I had the pleasure of working with Alan Parker who has changed my view of car salesmen forever. I've always dreaded the fact that I'd have to work with a car salesman in order to get a vehicle cause I always felt like they'd try to get over on me. Alan didn't make me feel that way. In fact, it was on of the most enjoyable experiences of my life. Also, to my surprise the general manager was a huge part of the experience. He took the time to come out, show the vehicle and work along Alan. I'm only use to the manager being there for the "negotiating" part and rolling. I was very surprised how much attention a general manager gave to a specific customer. I didn't even expect a GM to even speak with me. He was very pleasant and sincere to work with. I ended up purchasing a 2013 Ford F-150 XLT and boy am I pleased. As a police officer, this vehicle fits my off duty needs perfectly with the size of the vehicle and bed. It's a great looking vehicle. Although it's used and did not come with floor mats, the dealership was kind enough to find mats for me which I deeply appreciate. Last and most importantly, about a week after I bought the vehicle Alan reached out to me to ensure that I was satisfied with the vehicle and to see if I needed anything. A few days later, Aimee Evans also reached out to ensure that I was satisfied as well. She was also the first person I spoke with inquiring about the vehicle since I was driving from about an hour and a half away.I'll never buy my vehicle anywhere else from now on. I use to be a Porter customer, but Federick blows them out of the water. Visit Federick Ford and guarantee you won't be disappointed!

We drove pretty far to buy a car from this dealership and the car was not clean when we first got there as promised, but we decided to drive it and buy it any way. After leaving to get lunch and returning the vehicle was very clean for a used vehicle and they did a great job getting it ready. I also had a small problem after the fact but the salesman dustin has been more than helpful even going as far as to buying the part himself and shipping it right to us. Can't wait until he's in town to go to an orioles game with us. Thanks for everything!

Overall a great experience. The sales rep-Dustin, sales manager-Mark, finance manager-Stony, and of course Aimee were all awesome and worked very well with me.Only hangup was pushing to get car out that Tuesday and then we had to bring back on Monday when we told them no rush. Just get the car properly prepared and we would pick up at a later date.On Monday when I took in the car, I was given a rental since my husband was ill and could not follow me up there to drop off. This was very well appreciated.When picked up car on Tuesday and after got home, realized that my new car mats had not been put back in and my storage box for the rear compartment. Called and was informed would be returned on Thursday. This did not happen and had to call on Friday at which time a runner delivered said items to me.The chip on the driver's rear door was repaired by using my touch up paint pen that I had purchased the day of the sale and not sanded down and removed properly. I still can see the chipped areas.

We can't say enough good things about our experience here. After a horrible experience a few days before and not so good results earlier in our search this day, we were emotionally exhausted and losing hope of finding the truck we needed to fit our budget. We sat down and talked with Sean Scott, our salesman, who listened to us with an encouraging smile. Sean then spoke with Mark from finance who, to our relief and surprise, said he had something he thought would work. We were elated! And it was exactly what we were hoping for! We already had financing of our own, so we were ready to go! To make the deal even sweeter, they offered us an even better rate than we already had! I purchased a used 2006 Chevrolet Tahoe from Hertrich's Frederick Ford of Seaford on 6/28/14 and have been having major vehicle issues, as well as unbelievably terrible customer service since that day. I am a Maryland resident, so upon purchasing I requested that they Maryland inspect my vehicle since they are a Delaware dealer. I purchased on a Saturday and the salesman advised me that they would need to have the Tahoe inspect first of the week and they would deliver it to me upon a successfully passed inspection. I never received a phone call, so I called my salesmen Tuesday(6/31/14) to follow up. He stated that the Tahoe was inspected in Maryland and just needed the windshield replaced to pass and that they were going to replace it and would deliver it Wednesday (7/1/14). This concerned me, so I asked for a copy of the inspection report from my salesman, and he told me he would deliver the inspection report when he delivered my vehicle. On Wednesday (7/1/14), my salesman delivered the Tahoe, which I was told by him in person that it successfully passed Maryland inspection and we were just waiting on the MVA paper work process to receive my Tag and Title. I received no inspection report, like promised, and I inquired where it was, and he said he would talk to the service department and send it to me. As I drove the Tahoe for the first time since it had been delivered, there was clearly something wrong with the steering. I reported this to the salesman and he said they would check the alignment. I was told the alignment was checked by their service department and showed no issues, which was surprising to me because the way it drove.The vehicle continued to have issues and I still hadn't received the inspection report. I called the salesmen multiple times with no success, which led me to call the sales manager. I told him my issues and everything that happened since 6/28/14 and he said to not deal with my salesman, I would deal directly with him. I requested the inspection report from the sales manager and he had told me at that time, due to the July 4th holiday "it was hectic and I was just a victim of circumstance". He told me he would have to contact the service manager to get the inspection report. After a couple days, I received no phone calls. I contacted him again and he told me the service manager was out due to family illness and I would have to wait to receive the report.After a few weeks passed, I still did not receive the inspection report, so I contacted the service manager and he told me my vehicle had never been inspected. The service manger told me he would have to come and pick my vehicle back up for inspection. This was extremely concerning because I was driving a non-inspected vehicle around for over two months and was lied to. I expressed this concern to the sales manager and he blew me off, stating again it was reasoning due to the holiday and service manager's family illness. I expressed that I did no longer want the vehicle anymore, and he told me they already received the check from the bank and there was no possible way for me to return the vehicle.My vehicle was picked up and taken in for inspection. I requested a loaner vehicle that was comparable to my Tahoe, and I received a small car. I was unable to drive it, because I need to carry large tools for work, so it sat in my driveway which was extremely inconvenient because I could not use it. My vehicle was returned, still with no inspection paperwork. After realizing this, I called the sales manager again. He advised me that they were not allowed to give them out, after telling me for months that he would get it to me.

My wife and I are expecting our second son in September so we decided we needed to upgrade my extended cab 2009 Silverado for something with a little more room. After some searching, I found a used 2011 Ford F-150 at Frederick Ford in Seaford DE. I contacted their internet department and inquired as to whether the truck was still available for sale. I was contacted on a Friday afternoon and told the truck was available and asked if I was going to come in to take a look. I told the lady that I would be driving down the next day and that I was approximately 3 hours away from their dealership. So the next day my wife, 2 1/2 year old son, and myself set out to make the trip. We ran into two accidents on the way down but made it after a 5 hour drive. Once there I was greeted by a gentlemen who asked how he could help me that day. I explained my situation to him and asked to see the lady I spoke to on the phone the day before. He responded "Sure!" and disappeared into a back room. After 15 minutes or so he returned to tell me that the lady had gone home early that day and that he would help me instead. I said alright and gave him the stock number for the vehicle. He said Ok let me go get the keys and I will pull it around. After another 15 minutes or so he returned and said "I've got good news and bad news". I responded "Ok, what's the good news?". I was told "Well, we sold that vehicle about 10 minutes ago. I'm sorry." He and the manager then proceeded to attempt to sell me a 2005 "Super clean" F-150 for 2000 less than the truck I was originally interested in and two Ram trucks which were well over (approximately 5500) over the price of the original truck. I think what I"m most upset about is the fact that the dealer did not call me at any point throughout the day to even let me know that another person was looking at the truck or even interested knowing that I was making a minimum of a 3 hour drive. I get it, dealers are trying to sell the car so why not sell to the first person who is there with check in hand to purchase but a little common courtesy would have been nice. The manager told me that "This is not the way we do business" but I'm not really sure I buy that either. In fact, who knows if they ever even had the F-150 in the first place. If not, advertising it worked to boost their internet based interest and to get suckers like myself in the door.

At the end of February, my wife and I were looking to replace our vehicle. I began my search online and found a great 2009 Ford Escape at Fredrick Ford in Seaford. Interested, we made the 45 minuted drive to Seaford and met our salesman Dustin. Dustin was able to relate with our budget and needs and was able guide us through the buying process. He was a pleasure to work with and made us very comfortable with our decision. While we have had to return a few times to address some issues with the car (simple computer issues that could not have been spotted prior to sale, and have since been completely fixed) we always had a very positive experience with all departments. On our second trip to Fredrick Ford they were even able to drop 9 months off of our loan (without raising our monthly cost) by offering us more for our trade in vehicle. Overall, we had a great experience and are looking forward to working with them again in future.

While visiting other dealerships I often found a feeling of being ignored. Not at Hertrich. A friendly face greeted me on the lot immediately. Melissa was knowledgable and did everything to aid me in my search for my perfect vehicle. She did not overbear me like previous sales reps and she had an uncanny ability to remember everything I said. The choices of vehicles was amazing, especially with all the options and accessories available within my price (I went over so many while making my decision!). My husband and I purchased a new Ford C-Max Hybrid, yesterday, April 28, 2014. This was the most positive experience we have ever had in purchasing a new car. The staff at Frederick Ford, Mr. Mark Malone, General Manager; Ms. Aimee Bradley, our sales rep.; and Stony were so nice and kind to us, and made us feel very comfortable. They were very well informed, and very obviously knew their product. They accomodated us by allowing us the time we needed to make this big decision, provided a loner car after we traded in our previous vehicle, while we waited for our new vehicle to come from New Jersey. When our new car arrived, it just sparkled, and had a full tank of gas. We appreciate the professionalism, expertise, kindness, and patience of the above-named staff. Purchased used car in winter with the floors so wet from the lousy recon job that I had to leave it open in a heated garage for 3 days to dry. Had to clean and dry out the lower trunk as well because of the excessive cleaning fluid on the mats laid in trunk dripping wet. Not the only thing found either. Told the dealer that this car was going to be used for trip out of state rest of winter. No one said anything about having to run the car to DelDot for inspection (should have been done before I drove it away,normal SOP per DelDot and all my other experiences). Left the state about three weeks after purchase then when in deep south was told to bring the car back for inspection in order to get tag work done. Resolution for their mistake was another $10 from me for another temp tag since the original would run out before our return to De.. I said no way should I have to pay for anything on their blunder. Manager claims they will refund my $40 for the tag and all I have to do is run the car through inspection when I get back. I get the tag sent down south along with a check for $29.95 instead of the promised $40 refund. This dealership would rather loose customers once they have the money than do what is right (no surprise). They are like any other car dealer, misrepresenting, omitting or outright lying just to make a buck. Pathetic.

My daughter also purchased a vehicle from Hertrich. After agreeing on price the finance office was going to charge her a higher interest rate. When she told them she was going to wait a couple of days and go to the bank they decided to drop their interest rate. Why didn't they do this in the first place? Purchased another car from Hertrich Nissan. Working a short distance from the dealership. They promised if we had any problem with car they would provide transportation to work. I called on Friday afternoon about a used car. A prompt answer was received via the Internet Manager. Some dealers you never hear from. I told Cassandra, my wife and I would be driving down from Pennsylvania Saturday morning to look at the car. A salesman was assigned to me at my request. I talked to Ray and informed him we would be down in the morning. This was quite a step to take and drive a 100 miles and do business with a car dealer. Ray was waiting for my wife and I and greeted us. The car was a one owner with low miles. The deal went very well. There was one issue with the car that I wanted corrected. Ray helped to get it fixed as we waited. This dealership is family owned and run in a professional manner. Being a retired police officer I saw a well run business. He went beyond aspects of normal salespersons in my past. Mr. Cooney took time to explain details and thing we could be expecting from them now and in the future. called to inquire about truck was told they had it and it would be out front waiting for me to test drive . Jonathan was there to greet me with keys for a test drive . wanted to look at another truck no problem Jonathan got keys and we test drove that one also . decided which one I wanted they got someone to check out my trade and the deal was made quickly as possible , it was in the evening and closing time came and went they did not seem to rush to leave until deal was final . asked finance manager to hold deposit check one day to allow me to switch some money from one account to another , no problem. he even called to make sure I had made the deposit before he deposited it.Jonathan then met me at 9 AM next morning to change over my tool boxes and ladder racks along with another salesman . Both men did good job helping me. I was treated with respect with all aspects of the transaction .

Dealer will not repair or provide financial assistance to repair bumper, wheel well liner and trim spoiler that were damaged prior to my purchase of the car. Moreover, Mark Malone, the sales manager lied to me and said that trim spoiler damage is not "body damage," which would otherwise fall under the dealers 30-day 1k mile purchase warranty. Mark did admit the real reasons why he would not honor his purchase warranty, which he said was because he "discounted the car more than he wanted to honor my price" and "because its damage that cars incur fairly regularly;" and that he would have have to push up prices on the cars to repair that type of damage limiting his price competitiveness. Context: I initially negotiated a purchase price by phone, who agreed to accept the terms if I purchased the car that day. Because the dealership is 125 mile and over 2.5hrs from my home, I wasn't able to get to the dealership until after dark (mistake); which prevented me from noticing the damage until the next morning. I called my rep to explain what I noticed. He said that he would get back to me the next day. I never heard back from him. After not hearing back from him, I decided to get the car inspected by a local Ford dealership and a repair estimate. The local dealership gave me an estimate of $600 to repair the broken bumper liners and spoiler. I e-mail pictures of the damage and the estimate the Raymond; who finally called me back to tell me that he had technical difficulty accessing his e-mail; but would pass the estimate and photos to his boss the next day. Whether by accident or design, I noticed the check I paid for the car with cleared and finally received a return phone call from Mark Malone to politely tell me that "there was nothing (he) could do." I offered to split the cost of the repair. He declined. The 2 sales reps I worked with never disclosed the damage to the car to me while I was on the phone or at the dealership. It goes without saying that I would have either walked away or negotiated the price down further for the damage.

I recently purchased a 2009 Ford Edge from this dealership. Lets be honest, buying a car is never easy. It's business. I have read some reviews stating unhappiness with this company, and all I have to say is...you get what you settle for. Dealerships are looking to make money and customers are looking for a deal. I believe I got a fair price, the salesman I worked with did his job and helped me find the car I was looking for. Did they offer the price I wanted?? Of course not! But we DID work together to reach an agreement that allowed me to feel good about the price I paid. And at the end of the day everyone wins. I got a car, they sold a car and the world continues to turn. If you know what you want, what you are willing to settle for and what your deal breakers are, these guys will work with you. Over all this was a good experience and I would go there again.

I had only one experience with the salesman that waited on me. When we frist (husband) entered the show room, the salesmanwalked up to us and helped us. The thing that caught my attention was he talked to my husband not to the both of us. When myhusband spoke up and told him I was buying the car, his attitude changed. That episode should not have happened like that at all.I was going to take it personal at first. I was ready to walk out but my husband stopped me. I am glad he did but after that it was a nice experience. I am taking into consideration that my salesman was young and was new on the job. He made up for his non-experience and he turned out to be very helpful. We got along fine. I will recommend him to all my friends.

I spoke with many dealerships in the area and out of the area, trying to locate the preowned truck I needed. Mark asked me to stop by and check out a couple of trucks he had. When I arrived he introduced me to Tripper, who sat and listened to everything I needed in a truck instead of trying to fast talk me into something I did not want. When my husband announced that he wanted a corvette and he had looked at a 6 speed corvette at another dealer, I thought, I'm going to call Ray Brozzetti at Frederick Ford to see if he could locate a corvette for us. I placed this call at 7:15 p.m. on a Tuesday night. Within 10 minutes of my initial call, Ray had called me back to say that he had located 2 vettes in Frederick's inventory. Details were given about 1 vette and arrangements were made to have the car brought to Seaford for us to look at the next day. Unfortunately, by the time their folks got to their other dealer, someone had already brought the car. I received a call at work that morning and was told that the other car, which was at one of their northern dealerships would be brought down instead, that same day, for us to look at. We went out there that evening, and my husband test drove the vehicle. It was an automatic, (thank goodness). Then the serious talk began. We each had our own thoughts about the price. However, by the end of the negotiations and a few days later, each of us had reached a happy medium that we could live with. My husband has his vette.We have had previous business dealings with Ray Brozzetti, the sales manager, and the general manager at Frederick Ford in Seaford, Delaware. As a result, we have purchased 3 vehicles in 3 years from the same sales person at this dealership. With the vettes purchase, this is now 4 vehicles in 3 years. These folks are always welcoming when we stop in to the dealership. Less than stellar performance! Purchased my vehicle approx 1.5 yrs ago from this dealership (R. Mason) and this week my vehicle required a repair which again was not covered by the extended warranty. This is the 3rd problem concerning repairs to my vehicle. After a tow, and two trips to the dealership, my engine problem is not resolved. My truck sat at Frederick Ford for 4 days and is not repaired. Of course they don't fail to charge you. I attempted to contact the General Manager via phone, voice mail, and e-mail to no avail. Frederick Ford drops the ball concerning service after the sale and customer support.

I located the vehicle myself threw various internet searches. The dealership tried to pay me way to little for my trade in. The sent me home on an empty tank, i had to take my vehicle to be inspected myself. And to top it all off, when my tags were ready for pick up. The dealership lost my tags. I would rate the dealership as mearly average to mediocre.

By far the best experience I have ever had and I have bought alot of vehicles in my lifetime. The entire staff was courteous and friendly. We had shopped numerous dealers and this dealership got us the vehicle we wanted and did not charge us extra to get it like the other dealers were trying to do. Thank you for making our purchase experiece so pleasant. We will be back !

I visited the dealership to look at the size of the cab on the F-150. I was going to settle for an XLT however after driving the Lariat Ecoboost I changed my mind. The salesman was very diligent on getting the price and payments where I wanted them to be. I left the dealership a couple of times however the salesman would not let go and kept working on the deal. I was contacted a couple of times a day for several days to let me know he was still working on it and was not going to give up.

When I was in the market for a new car, I went straight to Hertrich Ford. I had heard great things about the staff and decided I would give them a try. What a great decision. Randy helped me pick out the perfect car, and had no problem taking time to answer all of my questions and concerns. Not only was it a great buying experience, Randy understands service after the sale. He called within the first two months of owning my new Ford to check and see how things were going, and to help with any problems I might have had (which I didn't). Between the great product and Randy's fantastic service, it's a no brainer; I'm going back to Hertrich Ford the next time I need any vehicle.

I really felt like I could trust Randy and he wasn't going to try to trick me into buying something that wasn't right for me. He really took the time to figure out what my personal needs with the vehicle I wanted were and also made other suggestions. You can tell he does his research.

Yes I would recommend this Dealership. My salesman was friendly, courteous, and mindful to my needs. He didnt try to push me into something that I did not want and treated me with the upmost respect.

The reason that I give this rating is because it is very frightening going into a car dealership and being ocerwhelmed by salesmen. Randy came up to us, was not pushy at all and gave us the space we needed to make our decision. When we were finally ready he was so easy to talk to. Thanks for the comfortable experience on a big decision...

I've been searching for a used car dealership, when I stumbled upon Mr. Randy Mason, he worked with me and was very understanding with what I was looking for in a car. Got a truck was told they had a dealer in pa I could use if anything went wrong. Got in the truck gas was empty. On way back to pa saw half the exhaust was missing an had holes all over. Sent an email an was told they do not have a dealer in pa an they will not pay anyone to fix it so I would half to drive back to Delaware an an spend my own gas money an my own lodgeing should have listened to the lady at the gas station up the street from them. She said I would not buy a bike from them

Was selling my car online, Casandra contacted me to say they would be able to get really close to the $8700 I was asking for, which is what a fair trade in value was. Car was in very nice shape. Of course, they get me in there, and offer me $7000 for it(that is not close to $8700). My wife and I were looking for a used minivan, they had a Ford Freestar for $6995, and we liked it. I had mixed feelings whether or not I should continue dealing with them after their low ball offer, but thought I would see what they had to say when we were willing to trade in. Next thing you know, I was able to negotiate them to give us $8300 for the trade in. I was told we would be getting a check for $1000 after all was said and done. They got us to sign all the paperwork and then say they can't cut us a check because the accounting department was gone for the day. Next, Mark comes out and changes that even further by saying we don't know when we can get you a check cut, but when we do, we will bring it to you so you don't have to come in. It is now almost two weeks later, and we still have not seen a check.All of this was signed for on a "we owe" agreement that dealers provide. They are worthless. There is no way to enforce it and they still do whatever they want. There salespeople would start smoking right in the building, and come in with cigarettes. No respect for other people or the law, just arrogance.I should have followed my instincts and not done business with them. I can only hope people will read this and learn from my mistake.These people have shown they will lie and manipulate you anyway they can. Would not even give me a half tank of gas for the inconvenience of dealing with their lies. Stay away from these people. If you read this and still go there, you are a glutton for punishment.

They sold me a messed up truck and refused to fix the problem or even help me fix the issue. They never return calls. Tell you to come up to the dealership to fix the problem then let you sit there 3 hours and never even acknowledge you and then when they do they said that I need to come back up there tomorrow. I have called and called about this truck and everyone says to come up there then when I get there they say that there is nothing they can do! I am highly pissed off and will NEVER buy another vehicle from them and am looking into getting a lawyer. To top it off the dealership only sold me the vehicle with 3 month of tags but charged me full price for them and they lost the hard plate tag for the truck. THis is highly unprofessional and disrespectful to me as a person to constantly dick me around on this problem. The funny thing is that after I had purchased this vehicle from this dealership several of my friends expressed all the problems they had with this same dealership. I swear this is the most unprofessional company ever!

We bought a used truck from them at a good price with great service. I had a problem with the truck shortly after the purchase, they took it in and made the repair in a timely manor. I was very pleased with the service. I would consider them for our next purchase.

Do not trust this group. I had a signed contract in-hand and they sold it to another buyer anyway. At no point did anyone ever tell me that I could lose the vehicle. I was out plane fare and ohter expenses. To top it off, the owners refused to return my calls to discuss the matter. Total lack of ethics and professionalism in my opinion. Stay away!

It is my opinion that these guys are dishonest. They perform the old "bait and switch" like pros and promise you the world for you to sign, then change the game as you take delivery. I bought one vehicle there which was used and supposedly "certified". In the two months since buying I've had brake problems and found an oil leak. These are certainly issues which should have been noted- my local mechanic said they were basically "duct tapped" in order to get off the lot. Look at their positive reviews, don't they look suspicious?? Trust me- if I were you I would not trust these guys! They will promise any price to get you in the door then come up with reasons to no go through with the sale. Do yourself a huge favor and go elsewhere.

I have bought 6 cars from hertrichs in the last 5 years. i went this time went my expectations not very high bc of my recent credit problems. i explain this upfront and they picked out the perfect ford fusion for my budget. i sent 2 other friends there this week. i know many simliar stories just like mine regarding frederickford. thanks guys your the best!

Ahhhh where to start? I will start by saying that in the last two years I have purchased six vehicles from The Hertrich Family of Dealerships and things have been worse with each return visit. Most recently I decided that I wanted a BMW. I contacted a salesman named Doug at Frederick Ford and explained to him what I wanted to purchase so he could start trying to find one at auction or another local dealer. After about two weeks I called back and Doug told me he had not found one yet but if I would like to start looking myself feel free to do so. If I found something I liked they would purchase it and sell it to me. That night I found the car I wanted and it was about 150 miles away. I called Doug and told him to get the car. He started making arrangemnets and that night I went and did my finance work so this wa on a wednesday. Now as far as I am concerned I purchased that car on a Wednesday and i wanted it hear by the weekend which I was told would not be a problem. Friday afternoon no car I call Doug he tells me I can go pick it up myself if I wanted it andthey would send a inspector up with me with the check and the inspector would make sure the vehicle was worth what I was paying. Hertrich charged me a additional $1200 for this convenience. So at 5 oclock on friday i meet with this inspector who has the check to buy the car.Now 150 miles is a long way so me and the inspector have plenty of time to talk. Come to find out the inspector is actually Fred Hertrichs personal driver. Now this is not the number one thing she does at Hertrichs. Her main job is to pick up and deliver all of Mr. Hertrichs horse sperm frrom his numerous farms and to drive mrs. Hertrich back and forth to her families home in NJ because she does not like to drive. So about mid way up I start wondering exactly what I was paying $1200 for to Hertrichs. Things just get better from here. We get there and this dealer is in a bad location so the horse sperm delivery lady does not want to get out and inspect the car, understandable shes like 65. I go look at the car I like it give them the check and drive off. Now I dont get home til around 1 in the morning so I wait until the next day to call Hertrichs and tell them there going to have to give me my money back because they literally did not do anything. They say NO the deal is done. Ok I go to get the car inspected. FAILED. Call Hertrichs Nothing they can do. At this point they want to just refund me for my tax and tags and let me take care of it myself. No problem give me my $1200 back and I will get the car repaired to pass inspection and tag it myself. Cant do that they say we can refund you for the tax and tags but not the mark up for us buying inspecting and delivering the car to you. But you didnt do any of that I said. Well we cant refund you for the mark up but you have a couple3 more days to repair the car yourself or we will not be able to do your title work that we are charging you $1200 for. Long story short they are a bunch of crooks but I say keep acting up in a recession and that lot will soon look like GM Gianton 50 in Easton.

These people seem to think that they are the only game in town. On two recent weekends, I spoke with two different salesman whose names I don't recall. We were interested in a Ford F150. Both salesmen would only reduce the sticker price of the truck by $4000.00 which was what Ford was giving in incentives. We were not trading anything in so I felt it should be discounted more. The first salesman made comments like " Come Back And See Me When you Can't Find A Better Deal". The second salesman said it really didn't matter whether he sold us a truck or not, he had sold four already that day and he wasn't paid on commission anyway.Earlier this week I spoke on the phone to a salesman named Mr.Schroder at the same dealership. He was okay to speak with and I told him I would come in to see him that evening. As the rest of that day unfolded I wound up buying an F150 at another dealer(at a much better discounted amount). I spoke with Mr. Schroder again on the phone and explained that I had purchased elsewhere. He still encouraged me to come to his dealership and that he could do better than any deal that I had. I said no, I am happy with what I had purchased but thanks anyway. Five minutes passed and I received a call from a man who said he was the sales manager at Frederick Ford. He began telling me that he would sell me the truck that I had talked to Mr. Schroder about for a better price than I could get from anyone else.Again, I explained that I was happy with what I had bought. He then told me that just to show me what a deal I had missed, the price of the truck I wanted was $24995.00. I said thanks anyway and said goodbye. The truck in question had a sticker price of $42000.00. I think he was just trying to rattle my cage because I bought elsewhere. I any event, thats a poor way to do business.
