This was a straight forward 45,000 mile service check-up on my 2007 Mercury Montego. I had made an appointment. I rolled in the door as soon as I arrived.The Service sign-in person took my information immediately and directed me to the Waiting Lounge and coffee machine.The job was completed promptly, including a car wash. I am completely satisfied with the job and all the details of the way it was handled. it's always a pleasure to take my 2014 CMax for service. So far, there's been nothing more than routine maintenance, but today one of the blinker bulbs needed replacing. Too bad it was just out of warranty.It was a bit chilly in the service waiting room but overall I'm very pleased with HP Ford.

I purchased a car used from this dealership about two weeks ago and I have nothing to say but good things about it. Jeremy, my salesman was a very honest and straightforward about the car. I have not yet met someone so kind and trustworthy, especially someone selling me a used car. I met the owner and the other employees and they are just as helpful and polite. I don't feel pressured or uncomfortable, it was a very pleasant experience. I will be sure to go over to this dealership again. Absolutely excellent customer service and Jeremy is a very hard working and polite individual. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking a used car or a new ford. Wouldn't have it any other way.

My experience with service this time was excellent. About two months ago, I tried to make an appointment to do this work (oil change and a recall notice) and no one would answer the phone or return my call when I left a message. I gave up and waited. This time it was different. Someone answered the phone and arranged an appointment when I wanted. When I arrived for the appointment, it was so crowded that I almost gave up and went home. I asked the technician how long it would take and he told me about an hour. I never thought they would keep that promise. However, they did! My car was ready. The technician was very polite and friendly. I was in and out within an hour. This was a very positive experience.

Rob Bates and his associates at Highland Park were most helpful in explaining the features of the MKC which I just leasted. Negotiations were very straight forward. We worked together to get me the car I wanted at the price I was planning to pay. The whole process took about 2 hours which I consider very reasonable. I purchased a certified 2014 Lincoln MKX. My first visit to the dealership, was actually very disappointing. The salesman was not very helpful or knowledgeable at all. He seemed to be bored and uninterested in helping me. I felt as if he could care less about me as a customer. When I was leaving, he didn't even ask for my phone number, which I found odd. I ended up going back a few days later and luckily had the opportunity to speak with Robert Bates. I had nothing but a great experience with Rob. It was obvious that he truly cared about me and my interest in the vehicle. He was positive, upbeat, caring, kind, friendly, and made the entire experience very comfortable. I was going to purchase a very similar vehicle at another dealership (in Glenview), but chose this car and this dealership because of the experience I had with Rob. My only complaint would be that I thought (based on my research and visits to other dealerships) that they could have come down on the price a bit, but I didn't have the time or patience to play that game. In the end, I am very satisfied with Rob, his expertise, and professionalism.

My family recently got a Ford Expedition from Highland Park Ford-Lincoln. Our overall experience was great! We called before to let them know what we were looking for, and the vehicle was ready for us when we arrived. The sales and finance people were experienced and didn't use any high pressure tactics or try to oversell us. The dealer was able to get the vehicle ready for us to take home that day and they were able to do an out-of-state registration for us. This saved us a great deal of time and effort. I do feel like we got a good deal and were definitely treated like valued customers during our experience. I would highly recommend this dealership because they are committed to their customers and it shows in the way they treat people who shop there.

I recently purchased a used 2011 cadillac escalade esv from this dealership. Below is a list of the facts of my experience. You can make your decision if this is the type of dealership where you would buy a used car. I was told the vehicle was in excellent condition and didn't need anything. I got pre-approved for financing over the phone. Once i arrived at the dealership they were washing the car, I did a visual inspection. I kept asking what the financing rate would be and did not get any response. 1 hour and half later I finally got into the finance person, he said my rate would be 8.5% financed through ford credit.... I almost laughed out loud.... I have purchased 5 other cars this year and the most i have paid was 3-4% I asked did you run it through any other lender, the answer was no, so i had to wait for them to try ally and got 5.5%, I said fine, I will refinance it tomorrow though my bank. They tried to charge my 6% sales tax for WI, i caught the error and they reprinted the paperwork I finally got out the door as the dealership closed, where i was informed that the vehicle only had 1 set of keys and was missing the remote and 3-4 headsets. I had already purchased the vehicle and had a long drive in front of me. On my way home the escalade ride was bone jarring! It kept me awake on my ride that was for sure. I brought the car into the cadillac dealership in green bay the next day, they hoisted the car up and there response was you bought this car from a dealer? It has two front shocks completely seized, brakes and rotors are completely rusted, oil leak, pinion seal leak, battery was shot, plus the keys and headphones.... almost 4k to fix. I called Al at Highland Park Ford, and he said we will see what we can do, but I dont handle this. He was very rude and condescending. I was very pleasant through all my interactions with the dealership. (I truly believe you attract better with honey than vinegar!) I continued to follow up withe my sales person Christy. She was kind and after 5 days of following up she said the owners weren't going to do anything. Can i talk to them or the GM, No, they wont talk to you because they aren't going to do anything. I feel so sorry for you... you have been so nice though this whole process. I asked "what was there reasoning for not doing anything" She responded that is why they sold the vehicle to you at the price they did. So they did know of all these issues and failed to disclose them to the buyer. All i wanted them to do was fix the shocks and brakes, in the end they wouldnt even take my call! The reason I am posting this is so that more people dont have the same experience I have had at Highland Park Ford and Lincoln dealership.

This NEW vehicle has less than 40,000 miles. This was the 5th time it was in for service-all related to electronic issues. I now find out that I am in the "extended warranty" and have a $100 deductible per service. At this rate I will incur an additional $1,000 plus in expense over the term of the warranty. I wonder what a zero deductible plan would have cost? In recent years we have owned only foreign manufacture vehicles. I have not experienced the level of repairs on those vehicles that I have with the Ford. I will think long and hard about purchasing another american manufacture vehicle.

The part was ordered(Thursday) and delivered and installed(Friday) within two days, this was great. However, both of my keys were needed to reprogram, so I had them dropped of at 5PM on Friday. I was told the Tech would wait for the keys and have them programmed that night. This did not happen and supposedly there are no techs that can do this over the weekend. Also my truck was not washed even after sitting in service for 5 days.

Service on my 2008 MKX. Very satisfied. Great car!I walk with a cane. Bringing my car in for service requires a walk on a very slippery, often very wet, garage floor. No one is there to take the car most of the time. A customer is required to walk a distance into the inside office area for assistance. Cars are left outside after service which is a big problem if one cannot walk, particularly when it is snowy and icy. This does not comply with federal law requiring access for the handicapped. It is a big negative for older and/or handicapped customers.

We own a 2012 Explorer Limited. It is a little over 3 years old with 33,000 miles. We were told we needed a new battery after getting the car jumped. We asked if this was unusual because 33,000 miles did not seem to be a long life for the battery. The service person said he had no idea and wanted to know if we wanted a new battery or not. The service was done professionally and in a timely manner. Can someone please let me know if 33,000 is the life expectancy for a battery in a Explorer.Thank you

My free oil changes were up but I was there for recalls on my 2015 MKZ Hybrid and was quite surprised that an oil change cost $36 and that for conventional, back to changing it myself for $28 using Synthetic when it's on sale. Also, the parking lot is a mess! I've complained before about it and nothing has been done. Nice 2015 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid squished in between 2 pieces of junk. I had to walk around and make sure there were no scratches or dents. Also, the recalls took all day however they did provide a MKT for a free (excluding gas).

The staff is very friendly! The lady that does the rebates is always very nice. I believe the service team does a great job checking over my car. The only thing that wasn't done was a car wash. The tech mentioned that they would wash my car at the end. I didn't notice until I pulled into my driveway at home. The car wash would have been a nice touch especially since you pay a little more at the dealer. I'm sure that they would have done it if I drove back, but at that point I didn't have time.

I brought my 2015 MKZ in for a recall notice regarding the lights a few weeks ago. Today, August 6th, I called in to schedule an appointment because the wrench indicator light turned on. I was told it was ok to bring it in Monday. Shortly thereafter the car died on the Kennedy with heavy fast traffic and thus place me in a position of peril. I then wasted 3 hours getting the car to a the nearest dealership and find out there is a recall on "wrench" indicator issue.. I'm not very happy. I believe that the issue should have been addressed when I brought the car in for the lights. I do, however, want to note that my sales person, Bobbi, and the facility in general is top notch.

2015 Mustang GT manual transmission. Car had abrupt power steering failure, also alarms for TRAC service and Hill Start Assist not available. Dave Sanderson received car and had a diagnosis within an hour. Parts were ordered. Brought car back next afternoon. Car was ready 2 days later. Looking at service ticket it was a complicated repair requiring Hotline assistance. Please convey my thanks to Dave and all technicians involved for solving the problems. Car is working great!

My passenger window was broken and I needed it fixed for a trip in a few days. Dealership was very busy and rep was honest and said it will take a few days. Bring it in asap and I will get it in line. They also gave me a car to use. My car was done in less than 48 hours and when I picked it up it was truly busy in there. I appreciated the effort to get my car fixed. The price of the window?? pretty high but my expectations were set for that.

My sunroof stopped working. I called Friday & the person I spoke to told me I could drop it off but it wouldn't get looked at until maybe Wednesday. I then called Monday morning and spoke to a youngman in service named Sylvester. I told him the problem and that I was taking a road trip this weekend and really wanted my sunroof. He told me they were really busy but I could drop it off Monday after work. I did and I was given a rental til I got my car back. Tuesday around 12pm I called to check the status,Sylvester told me he would call me that afternoon. Well I got a call that afternoon to tell me that my car was ready, and to top it off there was no charge. Slyvester's customer service was awesome!!! He serviced me with a smile, he was quick and thorough! I was so tickled with the awesomeness of this young person I told maybe 3 people at the Ford dealer. He's a keeper and another reason I will continue to have my cars serviced at this location!!!

The service department at the Highland Park is fabulous. They generally seem to be happy at work, making our visits a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, because I have a fiesta, they are constantly having to take care of recalls and transmission problems. The service staff is courteous,friendly, and prompt. My car is unreliable...I am very disappointed in Ford products. My husband's company car is an explorer purchased in 2011. It also is in for constant major repair. Again, the service department is expedient and they give him a rental car. But it is an inconvenience. We have four Fords in this household. The two older cars (2002 and 1997) have been great. However, our experience with these more recent cars will not allow me to purchase another Ford product.

We live in Chicago and the drive to Highland Park Lincoln takes time. But over the past few years, every single visit to their service department has been outstanding. The service representatives we encounter are professional, friendly and always help build customer loyalty by the manner in which they handle claims. Even though we did not buy our Lincoln vehicle from Highland Park Lincoln, we feel we are always treated like valued Lincoln customers. Excellent. Other dealers (including those closer to where we live) could learn some lessons in customer service from Highland Park Lincoln.

I brought my Ford Fusion in for an oil change. I had talked to someone in the office before about not getting a rebate from the last time I had my car in. Cheryl told me that she would send me a coupon immediately by email for the rebate so that I could use it the next time, and she did. When I arrived at service, they were very helpful in explaining the different offers they had. Very polite and courteous. My car was taken back immediately. The work was done in about an hour. Nice waiting room.A very positive experience.

I received a battery recall notice from Ford. I called and made an appointment. My appointment was 2 or 3 days after my call. The inspection found tbat the battery was defective. This dealer replaced the battery. The whole process took 1 to 1.5 hours. I have always been satisfied with the work done by this dealer.

Just picked up my 2015 2.3L Mustang Convert in Magnetic Gray w/ stunning Saddle Brown leather. Ms. Burns had to search long and hard to find that specific color combo and engine, but she prevailed. I have been coming up to Highland Park Ford Lincoln for several years, with my near-vintage (!) 1999 Lincoln Continental (which I have no reason to sell since Ford and Lincoln now have such an ugly line-up, and sold Jaguar). And thanks to the service department at HPFL, I have been able to keep my beautiful car in good trim at a reasonable price and with GREAT service. In particular, I should single out Dave Sanderson, who's been extremely helpful and informative.One thing counts most in service: honesty. I rely on the service department at HP Ford for expert auto service for my Mazda 5. I bought a Ford Fiesta at the dealership in 2012, and I have the Ford serviced there. So positive has been my experience, that I now have my Mazda serviced there as well. I like the service professionals. They know what they are doing, and I trust their judgment and expertise. My visit yesterday was consistent with what I have experienced in the past. I have one minor issue, however. I took a loner car for the day. Kenneth in parts did a great job in locating used rims for my t bird. Need four new rims. Salvage yards rims were shipped out or rechroming.However the price by the factory new rims (10 in stock keeps going up every 30 days) and even with the blue oval discount are out of reach. Found a company in Santa Ana California to sand/ strip off old peeling chrome and rechrome. In two weeks we will know how well the rechroming looks. New rims net of Blue oval discount and taxes =$ 1,285 per rim.Rechroming and shipping/boxed both ways =$480 per rim

My wife and I found the perfect upgrade for her 2008 Volvo XC-90. After many e-mails and phone calls we drove down to dealership with the intention to purchase a 2010 XC-90 with low miles. Upon arrival the next morning, we had a chance to perform an inspection of the vehicle. To our surprise we found so many issues with the vehicle we left disgusted after only 15 minutes without even taking a test drive. The vehicle was not well maintained as the salesman assured us. The seats were worn and dirty, pieces of food were found between the seats, a residue resembling chocolate was discovered in one of the rear cup holders, the rear wiper blade fell apart, the rear cup holder would not even open due being broken, the right front headlight assembly had a lot of moisture in the inside, and the headliner was in very poor condition. All this we found on the initial inspection. We were very disappointed to say the least, especially after a very long commute and an overnight hotel stay. When we informed the salesman (Matt Price) all he had to say was thanks for stopping in. While that may be appropriate for a local customer, me wife and I expected something more (An apology maybe) due to distance we travelled.

I purchased a 2015 Explorer Sport. The car that I wanted wasn't in stock and the staff worked diligently to find and obtain the car in a timely manner. The sales experience was great. I got the red carpet treatment from Bob and Jeff and then Marty stepped in to complete the sale when people were busy. This was unexpected and really great because I didn't have to wait for anything to happen. Marty took care of me quickly and efficiently, and dug up some more Ford incentives that saved me more money than the original quote. It was the fastest and smoothest car purchase process that I have ever experienced at any dealership, really fast and easy. Unfortunately, the 2012 Ford Fusion I purchased from Highland Park Ford in 2013 was totaled and I needed to buy a replacement vehicle. I had the opportunity to work with Gus on December 18, 2014. I was considering two vehicles and Gus took the time to show and test drive both vehicles with me. Gus was extremely professional and knowledgeable concerning both vehicles I was considering, and assisted in weighing the pro's and con's each had to offer to fit my lifestyle! Once I decided on a vehicle, Gus took the time to explain the features in more detail and worked with me in explaining and making sure I understood the navigation system. Actually, Gus was AWESOME! Gus's patience, knowledge, and teaching technique in operating the system gave me the confidence and tools to proceed on my own! I was surprised to learn of a special issue and was told the issue was not in fact the initial issue... I then asked to see the issue in person and it was a different matter all together. And then the cost changed... I wonder if I didn't ask to see the issue if the same result would have happened... Not good! I felt a bit taken advantage of and felt like the female drops off car for service and is clueless.... In fact I am daughter of car dealer (dealership is 100 yrs old) and I know better... This leaves a bad perception for your service.

Not only have I been a "car guy" all my life but I have owned and sold more than my share of vehicles. The first time I stepped into HP Ford/Lincoln I felt the feeling of an "Old School" dealership where servicing the customer was priority #1. The staff felt like family and they were more than helpful and treated me as though I was the only one in the dealership. I was offered a beverage and talked about the "old days" with a couple of employees. I truly felt like I was back in the Cadillac dealership with my own father in the 1960's. That nostalgic feeling made me feel good. Some things are better left unchanged and I think a sense of family when I am making a big dollar purchase like a vehicle goes a long way to instill confidence in the buyer. Found out I needed rear brakes and your dealership provided me with an estimate DOUBLE what I paid. Also, needed a part for my dashboard and was quoted $72.00 NOT installed. Found it new for $36.88. I have had other issues in the past with Highland Park Lincoln Mercury Service. Too bad, my family has bought several automobiles from this dealership and over the years I have seen the change in the service department and it is certainly not for the better.

Yesterday was the last day of our warranty and I called at 10:00 am to get the routine maintenance done and talk about a grinding noise on the passenger side. Dave fit me right in and because you had the part I needed to fix the noise he fit that in too. It was New Year's eve and you were closing at 2:00 which is when I walked out of there having saved $100 for the deductible on my extended warranty and another trip to the dealership. I could not have been more pleased.

I have 2014 Ford Explorer. I was very upset that my brand new car has died on me 3 times and back passenger door was jammed.I was expecting to leave the car and pick it u p when they told me to wait until they will be able to diagnose the problem. One hour later they brought the keys and told me that it was a bad battery and they replaced it with a new one. I was very happy. It was a smooth ride!!!When I could not jump the car for the 3 rd time while it was in my garage ford sent me a service to jump it and that was uneventful as well so I am grateful that I bought Ford after being a Toyota customer for 15 years.

Matt was wonderful and so was Dave. They both got to the bottom of an issue regarding my brakes. I just bought the car in June and was told the brakes were brand new. Then when I brought the car in, only 2mm were left on the front right brake. They took care of the issue free of charge. I will say that I have emails between myself and Cheryl about scheduling my appointment and booking me a loaner car through the dealership. When I got to the service desk, they did not have my name, appointment or the issues I brought the car in for on their end.

I had to go find service guyand tell them to "skip the carwash, " that I needed my car -And everything was finished "pronto." It just took a long time. gst

I think Highland Park Lincoln-Mercury-Ford is great, and I have always had positive experiences with the dealer. It makes a world of difference having the owners of the dealer actively involved with the place as opposed to having some General Manager running the show. Especially when there is a problem it makes a huge difference having the two owners literally right there to assist with customers. My only issue with this dealer is that the facilities badly need to be upgraded. The waiting area is really cramped, and the Quick Lane service area is really basic and uncomfortable. For a Lincoln dealer this place needs have a more spacious waiting area with even a quiet area for those wanting to do some work. With this being one of the busiest dealers in the area this place is bursting at the seams and needs more space. There are times when I do not use your dealer for the simple fact that I cannot get an appointment no fault of the technicians or service advisors. There simply is not enough space at your dealer to handle the demand, and you all cannot violate the laws of physics in terms of your space limitations. Face it: you all are the major Ford-Lincoln dealer on the northshore, and you need to expand the facility to accommodate the demand or open up a satellite dealer with the current store being Ford and the other store being a Lincoln store.I would also add that you all need a couple more service advisors. It is amazing how the two to three service advisors you all have manage to get their workload done. The service advisors' area really should be expanded as well, and there needs to be at least one or two more service advisors considering the amount of telephone calls you get along with the amount of customers you all have. It would also be good to have service advisors who stick with the company for a while as opposed to having a revolving door of staff members coming and going. It makes a big difference to have someone who is with the company for a while and with their getting to know their customers. I kind of feel anonymous with your dealer because your staff comes and goes unlike my Cadillac dealer with staff having been there for 15+ years.As a whole I really like your dealer, and trust my vehicle with you all without hesitation.

After a short wait, the service team let me know that my car would have to be kept for 2-3 days for a computer module to be ordered and installed. I brought in the my 2007 Mercury Montego (which I had purchased new from Highland Park Ford/Lincoln) for a routine "The Works" oil/filter change and overall inspection in preparation for Winter. The inspection found significant wear in the front ball joints and associated suspension parts. The Maintenance person explained the problem completely. I authorized the work and they started the job immediately. They also arranged a loaner car in a matter of minutes. I found Highland Park Lincoln to be much friendlier than my previous experience 9 months early. The car rental was much easier to work now that it's on site. All my issues were addressed, my navigation was fixed with an update, the oil service was done and my car cleaned and touched up a scratch on my door handle. Then only thing that still annoys me is that my rain sensitive wiper goes off by itself and is inconsistent when in the rain, meaning most of the time it takes a long time to wipe even when the sensitivity is turned all the way up. I have asked this to be fixed before, but both times the service dept tells me the computer can not find any faults. It would be nice not to always rely on the computer and just fix it according to the experience of the customer.

Went in for a basic oil change, and I had a tail light bulb burned out but forgot to notify them. They changed the burned out tail light and let me know that they found a couple of punctures in one of my tires. They patched the tire and I was cleared to go. Cost to patch was cheaper than dinner and it was great they could save me some money!
