We recently purchased a used 2014 Ford Fusion from Holt Motors in Cokato. This was our first experience working with Holt Motors. Our sales person, Sarah Niemela, was not only very knowledgeable but also went over and above expectations to assist us with this purchase. We wouldn't hesitate working with Sarah again in the future when looking for another vehicle.

We recently just purchased a car from Holt Motors and we worked with Kevin Nelson. We were treated like friends and we definitely enjoyed the way we were treated with no pressure. They even invited us to bring our dog into the dealership while we did the paperwork! I would strongly encourage anyone looking for a car to strongly consider using Kevin and Holt motors. Kevin and Steve Bradach the finance person were very professional and we really appreciated the feel of working with Holt as opposed to some of the metro area dealers we have used before. We have worked with George Polingo before and when it came time to find the right truck to pull our 5th wheel camper, I sought him out again. I was looking for a very unique truck and George found it at a Ford dealer in Ohio. George had the truck shipped to Holt Motors where we finished the deal to buy the truck. From the first step to last, we had seamless excellent service. We have purchased many new Ford products from many different dealerships. Cokato is two hours away from where we live, but it was worth the drive. New pick up was spotless, full of gas and on the showroom. Financing was approved before we got there and Tracy Meyer did an excellent job explaining each piece of the information and was knowledgeable in answering my questions. The new pickup had many more features than our old pick up. The Holt staff got into the pick up with us and went thru all the new features and made sure we felt confident before we pulled it off the showroom.

Kevin did a great job. we had made a choice of buying an EDGE before coming in to the dealership. we test drove 2 Edge vehicles. Kevin was very informative pointed out the differences in the features. We are planning a road trip in the near future, thought it would be a good time to buy. The built in navigation was a plus. The double moon roof was really nice. This is the 2nd vehicle Kevin has assisted us in buying. we would be Proud to tell our friends to see Kevin Nelson for when looking for a new vehicle.

Sarah Niemela was great to work with. She stayed after closing on a Saturday as my mom and sister were shopping for a new vehicle for my mom. We had to get things done by the next business day to qualify for rebates and she was willing to work with the whole family (from all different areas) to make sure we had what we needed to buy mom's car.

We found the Durango in June 2016. We were closing on our house and going thru some other things at the time, the sales person we worked with was extremely great to work with. They let us put money down and we weren't able to return until August to get the vehicle. In the mean time the sales person keep in touch with us thru the whole process and assured us not to worry about them. It was the best experience buying a vehicle that I have ever had. I am so grateful to her and really appreciate everything she did for us. The Durango is fantastic, I love it!!!

We had a great experience buying our latest vehicle from Holt Motors in Cokato. Sarah was our salesperson, but when she was out on Saturday another salesman stepped in to assist us. he still gave Sarah the credit and she closed the deal with us later in the week. Neither one was "high pressure" which is a big plus for me. They also offered a great life time, (as long as we own the vehicle) bumper to bumper warranty, which most people have never heard of. We were very satisfied.

I found a vehicle online that I'd been searching for. I called Holt Motors to ensure it was still in stock and made arrangements to drive an hour and 15 min to look at a used Ford Edge. I connected with Sarah Niemela who kept in contact with me up until I left the Twin Cities to, just to make sure the vehicle was still available. When we arrived, the car was pulled in, open for us to look at, clean and ready for a drive. We knew right away it was the one. Even though we arrived at the dealership 20 min before they closed, we never once felt rushed. Everything was explained thoroughly and the staff there took just as much time taking care of us as any other time of day. We were able to do all of the financing and drive our new car home, an hour after they closed. Well worth the drive to get exactly what we'd been searching for.

I was a little apprehensive to make the drive to Cokato to look at the car that I eventually bought there. Although, the price was less than another Ford Taurus at a metro area dealership, the car at Holt, was $500.00 cheaper, 18,000 miles less and had more options, so I figured I'd take a run out there (80 minutes away) My sale person, Sarah Niemela couldn't have been more helpful. She is cheerful, knowledgeable and makes the car buying experience very pleasant. Everything was explained in detail and everyone is very helpful. I would encourage you to make the trip there if you're in the market to buy a car... ask for Sarah, you won't regret it!

My family drove from the cities to Holt to test drive a used car. A prior conversation on the phone I was told by Jerome that he was not sure of the location of keys for the used vehicle, but then said they were there. On arrival we were told there were no keys to start the vehicle. So time and money were wasted due to Jerome's lack of customer service. In fairness some other employees tried to help but we there to see the vehicle that we had discussed with Jerome. We were told sorry by a couple employees, but no acknowledgement from Jerome.

We bought an 2014 Edge. I would have given an excellent however the sale and close process seemed a bit unorganized but they were friendly throughout whole process. Also when I buy a vehicle I expect the fuel tank to be filled and good clean detail. The detail was barely step above auto car wash with soap residue still on chrome and mirrors.Overalll I was happy and you can't beat a lifetime power train warranty for free.

We walked in and were asked right away if we needed help (we were at another dealership and no one offered to help us for 15 min, and then we had to ask someone). I was in need of an economical car to commute to and from college. My budget was limited but I needed a reliable vehicle. I found the 2013 Ford Focus that I ended up purchasing on Carfax. When I came to the dealer they were very accommodating and found me the best financing option available along with making a competitive price, less than I had anticipated spending. They cleaned up the already clean vehicle again before I left and within one afternoon I was driving a great "new" car.

We had just left a little country church cemetery outside Cokato where my husband's brother was just buried. The back signal was not working and we had a seven-hour drive back to Nebraska. About a month ago I had one of the best sales experiences that I've ever had. It started out for my son and I when we made a 4 1/2 hour trip to Minnesota to look at a truck I found on the web. It turned out to be, well, not quite what it was portrayed to be. So as I sit in the parking lot, frustrated, I thought I might as well look around on the web to see if I could find anything close to where I was. I stumbled across a truck at Holt Motors. I thought what the heck, I'll drive and see what they got. When we got there we drove through their lot looking for the truck I saw on the web. As it turned out the truck wasn't exactly what I wanted. My son said that I should go in and ask if had what I was looking for. That's when I met Mark Benton. I described what I was looking for and he said he had exactly what I wanted. He was not pushy. He was smooth, very funny, down to earth, and intelligent. Unfortunately I did end up leaving without the truck. My son and I drove 4 1/2 hours back home. I thought it over for a couple days and did a little research and came to realize that Mark was right. The truck he tried to sell me was the right one for me. My son and I made the long trip back up from Iowa to see Mark and buy the truck. He treated us with respect and stuck to his word. There doesn't seem to be any honest salesman like him anymore. He is the one of the last of a dying breed. He even took us out for supper after all the paperwork was done. He went above and beyond what he had to do. I will definitely be back to check with Mark when I am looking for my next vehicle. Thanks Mark!

I was looking for a used Monte Carlo. I emailed the deal ship and Ryan responded with the information that I wanted. I called the next day to see if the car was still on the lot for sale and made an appointment for a test drive. Took the car for a drive and stopped and checked out they motor and the body. Came back to the dealership and talked with Ryan and told him I had checked the blue book on line and offered them a price. He went and talked with the manager and we all talked about the car and I got the car for $177.00 more than my first offer. I was very pleased with the way the deals hip and Ryan conducted business. We went to test drive the Passat, and it was unavailable. Kevin kept us informed of the availability of the car for a test drive for three days until we were available for a test drive again. When we arrived for the test drive, the car was parked by the building and had been freshly washed and warmed up for us. After we returned from the test drive, we were promptly offered refreshments. The cappuccino was great for such a cold evening. The car was great and we discussed the price. I was very pleased with the price being brought down a little and how well they were able to work with us! The kids were entertained the whole time and were given a free snack and hot cocoa along with tshirts! The customer service was incredible! When the paperwork was finished the also gave us a tour of the building, a stocking cap and a purse hook for at the table! I purchased a 2012 Ford Fusion. I had driven a couple of other cars at another dealership and had a fairly good idea of what I wanted, so I told the sales rep (Philip) and I ended up buying the first car he showed me! What really sold me was the lifetime warranty they offered. Everyone was really nice and friendly, and the waiting area was clean and comfortable. Out of town first time (at Holt Motors) buyer. I brought my car in to be evaluated for trade in value. George Polingo informed me something was wrong with my car. He and another worker estimated a $300 parts + labor cost to fix which IMO wasn't make or break. George did not pressure me into buying a car at that point but instead told me to think about it and provided me with a loaner car at no cost. That really impressed me and gave me a "loyalty" feel. George and Steve Bradach worked with me and went over any questions I had and patiently repeated anything that may have been confusing. This made me feel incredibly appreciative being a out of town guy. This has been the first dealership I have been to where I didn't feel uncomfortable and I didn't get instant pressure to go home with a vehicle. I have purchased cars from Holt Motors for many years. I have also bought a few from other dealerships. When it came time to replace my 2009 Fusion, I decided that I would test drive as many cars as possible. I started this process in August. I test drove 22 cars of all makes and from many dealerships. 4 of them were from Holt. I worked with Marc Keith, the new car manager. This was quite a process, but a fun one. I doubt it was fun for Marc, but he was never impatient with my indecision. He helped me in so many ways I can't name them all. I finally decided on a 2013 Ford Fusion and I couldn't be more happy. It was by far the best driving car I tested and they had it priced very competitively. It was a no brainer. I usually hate going to the finance office when I buy a car. Steve Bradach, their finance manager was great to work with and made the process quick, concise, and simple. He was not pushy, had answers to my questions, and made the process very easy. They were offering a great service contract that had unbelievable coverage for the price and I took advantage of it. I did a ton of research before I made my decision and with Marc and Steve's help, I know it was a wise informed decision. Greg Holt has done an amazing job creating a culture within his dealership that makes it feel comfortable when purchasing a car or getting service done. They have a wonderful new showroom that is very nice and makes it easy to wait for an oil change or service to get done. All of the people that work there are happy to be there and it shows when you walk in the door. I spent quite a bit of time at the dealership and got to know a lot of the people there. They truly want you to be happy with the whole experience. Holt Motors is a family run dealership and it shows. They treat their customers like family too. I know this review sounds gushy, but Holt Motors has really impressed me.

They did not have the truck I wanted, but found it within days. Truck arrived within a week and everything went smoothly. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a truck.

You never feel pressured into buying a vehicle. Just stop in for coffee and check out the brochures. And if you have questions just ask the friendly sales people, especially Kevin. He told us all about the new features on the pickups for this year. And when the truck came in, Kevin showed us all the controls. Buying from Holt Motors is really a fun experience.

The process was long but we got exactly what we wanted at a very competitive price. They made sure that everything was done correctly and that we understood the whole process. They were waiting for us and came out right away, we drove 285 miles. We were given a tour of the new facility and offered coffee. I had been given the information, on line, I needed to complete almost all the paperwork. The paper work took less than20 minute to complete. I traded in a 2013 Mustang coupe for a 2014 convertible so the only thing I needed showing had to do with the operation of the top. Some pictures were taken for them to display and some for us to show our friends. We were back on the road for our trip home in about 1 hour, top down, clear blue sky all the way and about 75 degrees, great trip.

I walked into the sales office, was greeted with a smile and introduced to Kevin, who was pleasant, courteous, and polite. He showed me what I asked for and allowed me to drive the auto. As we drove he explained all the good perks about the car in a pleasant, informative manner, Casual and matter of fact, no hype, no pressure, just pure pleasure. Came back with my husband on Saturday, meet with (Mark?) who was also, a pleasing person to work with; questions were answered, the price was agreed upon, the fact that the dealer ship is near our home makes it easy to bring it back for maintenance. A painless, stress-less purchase. We were happy with our purchase and very pleased with the offer on trade in vehicle. Just good!

I had an idea of what kind of vehicle I wanted to buy so I went looking. When we were looking at the cars on the lot we were greeted by Kevin he asked how things were going. We replied good looking for a car and asked to test drive a ford fusion. I feel in love with the car it had everything I was looking for in it. We then were able to talk to Steve and get the paper work started. Both guys were kind and very nice and then sent us on our way with my new car.

Kevin, was kind enough to be on the look out for a vehicle for me for about 6 months. I let him know what I was looking for. When this car came in he called me right away, stayed late so that I could get there to see it. I brought it home for a couple nights and when I returned it so they could start the process of me purchasing the vehicle, he stayed later, even though he needed to get to an event of his own. Kevin is a very kind person, and I would buy from him again.

My son and I have purchase (2) used pickup trucks from Holt Motors in the last year. We looked at other dealerships ,but realized it was our hometown dealership that had the best service. Everyone is friendly and eager to help. You know how at some dealerships, they just want to sell you something , it may not be what you want or even need... you will NOT be talked into visiting Holt Motors....just to find out they don't even have what they advertise. Best car buying experience I have ever had. I had spoken to George on the phone before arriving at the dealership and when I arrived he was busy with a customer so Philip immediately greeted me and took me on a test drive. After the test drive, George was free so I meet with him and just had a conversation about the vehicle. There was no pressure or sales tricks. As a young women, car buying tends to be a tedious task but George was very friendly and treated me with respect and never talked down to me. I felt like he wanted to get to know me and figure out my vehicular needs rather than just sell me a vehicle. Steve Bradach was very knowledgable and explained everything about financing and the warranty. He made sure I knew my different options and what exactly each option offered. Even though they were supposed to close at 4 both Steve and George stayed late to make sure I was all set.

I found a great used vehicle at Holt but my trade was in an upside down position. Damon and Phillip worked out my trade numbers and Steve helped make the financing work. Srevice on Mercury van on transmission was excellent. Service on ford edge is excellent. They identified Edge concern and will repair as soon as parts are in. I bought a pick-up from them and they did nothing but lie about the shape and condition of the motor.They told me the motor was no known problems. I found out later the Triton motors have alot of problems. 508 miles later,$3800 in repairs.
