This dealership lies!!! Tried to buy my lease, pay cash…. They tricked me into financing. My bad I was in a hurry and signed the papers! I feel so dumb. I got taken. Of course I’ll pay it off the day I get the bill!!!! I’m furious with them, buying a home and they said even if I pay cash they need to check my credit, some law Obama passed. I googled and yes it’s a law over 10k. I wanted to pay cash so my credit was not hit… I called twice today to talk to a manager, voicemail. I called Ford customer service. Don’t deal with this dealership. I also had my engine replaced a year ago… it took calling Ford Customer service to get them to act! Buyer beware!!! Again my bad for not looking at the paperwork- they said was for the lease company….. the guy I was dealing with threw the paperwork at me and said if we can’t run your credit what do you want me to do!! If I wasn’t moving out of Ca today I would have walked out!!! I’m not over exaggerating . Keep away… far away.

Might be going out of business… Because they’re pulling off some shady tactics. Added a surprise hefty markup and snuck 7k in contracts in my order, so they could use those service contracts against me to change the 1 star I gave them through the Ford review system. I custom ordered a vehicle at Huntington Beach Ford and when it arrived, it also had a surprise 20% dealer mark up after waiting around 9 months for it to arrive. Then it was upon me to try to hassle to get what was initially agreed upon or walk. Either you buy this vehicle today. Otherwise, we will sell it tomorrow. AJ tried to help despite Alex and his finance guys got a sneaky system to hassle you. Ford financing is also required at this dealer if you want to buy the vehicle. But tell you differently when you order. I get it if this was their vehicle they got sent from Ford and had it on the lot, sell it for whatever price you choose. But when someone orders a custom vehicle and turns down other similar ones to wait for the right one, then to find out they want to charge more than the ones you passed up with lots more options. Only to try and sell you on a van you already signed for with a surprise markup.

Came here because it was one of the only places in CA that had the model and style truck we wanted! (This was during the huge microchip shortage in mid 2021) Had a smooth experience with both sales and finance people I talked with; my only complaint was that it still took almost 4hrs (including two test drives) to complete all the paperwork and finally drive off the lot. Part of that is my fault because of how easy everyone is to talk to- more than a few times I found myself off topic. They explained all the features and helped set up my phone apps with the truck also. Overall a solid experience but expect to still spend 2-3hrs min if you are purchasing a vehicle.

Well usually during the week they are great. I geuss not on Saturdays. Called and made an appointment for 930 which I was told wasn’t that busy. Go there check in on time. They tell me they are backed up and will take 2-3 hours. 1230 comes and still one car ahead of me. Just needed a simple oil change and tire rotation. I just left. What a waist of a 12 mile drive and morning.

I came in for a routine oil change for my 2015 Ford Fiesta ST and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. More, one of the service techs, actually had my car washed. When he came to see me off, he realized they just ran it through the car wash. He took the car back and hand washed my car and returned it. I was very surprised and grateful. This dealership is extremely military friendly!

Those guys are awesome! They got me out of a 3 year lease half way through and put me into a brand-new Ford edge. My wife and baby could not be happier. The purchasing experience was quick and smooth. I told those guys what I could do a month and they made it happen. I normally do not leave reviews. But this experience at this dealership was so wonderful that I just had to get the word out to everyone. From the minute we walked on the lot AJ was amazing. He showed us different vehicles and all their features. We test drove the Ford Explorer and fell in love. Before we started talking numbers he asked what we could afford so he could work with our budget. The overall experience was amazing. Fully washed car. Full tank of gas. I went into get my 2012 Ford Fiesta looked at which I unfortunately did not buy from hb ford and got stuck with a lemon. I met Aj there and he was so helpful and reassuring he did everything he could to get me out of my car and into a newer safer one, despite having so much negative equity from the fiesta. I bought a 2016 Ford Fusion from Aj. I couldn't be happier, Aj tells you the truth and is very honest and sincerely wants the best for his customers. Dealer added on $2,995.00 Extended Warranty without asking for my approval. One month after many requests from me, dealer still did not refund Principal and Interests. it also ignored my warnings of filing complaints to agencies. My advise to car shoppers is avoiding from this dealer due to its Bad Practices and its DisHonest and its Wrongdoings toward its customers. If you want to do business with this dealer, make sure to review everything, typically the numbers before sign the contract. It betrayed my trust. I did not review things after 4 long hour at the dealer, and I did not have Reading Glass at that time. I did the same way to the Toyota Dealer, and everything came out exactly per the agreement. This was my very First Bad Experience of buying a new car.

We stopped by to learn about the Ford Escape after seeing one in the HB Costco parking lot. I was going to be needing a new car in a few months so for the past month I was testing different cars out. It was such a pleasure to be greeted by AJ the salesman who had an answer to all of my questions and made some great suggestions. We test drove different models and found the perfect one! We felt like we were an expected guest of the dealership unlike 4 other experiences we had in the past month with very unmotivated salesmen who basically told me to build my car on the internet at home....no brochures,no models and just plain unexciting. I got just what I wanted with the help of AJ! I went in to get the Ford Flex and that is what I drove away with. AJ helped me with finding the perfect one for me because I wasn't set on the color when I went in or the features. He made sure it would work for my Family and our needs. He didn't push the sell for the sake of the sell. I Loved the fact that he wanted to make sure I did the right thing for my Family and I. The slowest most unprofessional service and the highest prices of any dealership I've ever been to, and if you need a courtesy ride you're better off walking back to work! they have one driver for all their soon to be pissed off customers. While waiting for my courtesy ride me and the other customers witnessed a begrudged mechanic scream at a service writer for only giving him two jobs for today.. I'm thinking that's the guy that milked my little job for 4 hours at $120 hr!??I needed my driver's side glass (already paid for) installed and the inside door handle mechanism fixed, cost of the glass to be installed already paid for.. So to install my glass and fix the door handle while the same door panel is off, and then hanging around for an hour witnessing the most unorganized service department ever.. I then get billed $540.00.Do Not Ever use this dealership for anything!Worst automotive experience ever!One star is too much!!

My sales person Romano was engaging and made the experience fun but not with fake sales tactics. He took me on the longest test drive of all the other dealerships I visited that weekend. Also he gave me his work cell so if I had any questions after I brought my new car home I could contact him directly. I did extensive research before I came and I needed an extremely low price. I feel the price, the incentives and the trade in they gave me was excellent. I have already referred one person to see Romano at Huntington Ford. The finance person and the manager were also excellent. It felt like a downhome small town experience and I am excited to go back for my first oil change. This was actually the best experience I have ever had buying a car in my life

I first met Mike Foster at the Anaheim car show. At the time I was looking at buying a Focus RS or possibly a Mustang. After looking at the 2 cars at the show, I decided that the Mustang was the one for me.The exact car I wanted was not available at your dealership or at any other dealership (trust me I checked every Ford dealer in SoCal and searched online for days to try and find it)While I was doing my own search, Mike was using his resources to try and find the exact Mustang I wanted. Mike contacted me on several occasions when he found a car close to what I wanted but in the end I decided that I would need to order the vehicle directly from the factory.I had never made a custom order for a car before and I will admit to you that I was very nervous about the whole deal. (especially writing a check for what become known to my family as the vaporware-car).Mike helped out with the hole process and put me in touch with John Morgan in order to order the car I really wanted. The process was simple and both John and Mike were very supportive with the entire process and quite simply made me feel comfortable in moving forward with the order.After about 8 long weeks of waiting (and probably a dozen calls/emails to both Mike and John as in "WHERE IS MY CAR") my baby arrived. It was perfect. It was beautiful and I am now enjoying it everyday.Both Mike and John were extremely helpful in this entire process and made me feel comfortable with moving forward with this purchase. I am very happy with the car and the customer service that both of them provided.In closing I would like to add a kudos to the young man that gave me the first test drive of a Mustang (I just dropped by and understandably Mike was with another customer). In the past I have worked in sales (computer/network system sales) and it is refreshing to see that a sales team will work together in order to serve the customer as opposed to just looking out for their own commissions. This in itself is a testament to your commitment to the customer.

I could be taking it down the street to another Ford dealership, but the extra drive is well worth the quality of service.Jose Aguirre, the service advisor, is the best ever!! I always wait while my car is being serviced. He keeps me informed of the status the work and the approximate finish time. He has even taken the time to replace a tail light himself when I was in a hurry. About two month ago I went with my new 2015 Ford F-150 Platinum and it had a problem since I got it with the seat belt at the back seat driver side, they told me that it needed a part and they have to order it from Ford International, through two month I tried to contact the dealer and check on the order however you can't go through their phone system, they put you on hold for long time and then hang-up on you, to the point that I had to go to meet with the service specialists Aguilar, Virgilio which he advise that it is still at back order, finally he call me yesterday and said to bring the truck, I dropped the truck today in the morning around 9:45am I didn't hear anything until 2:00pm, I tried to call the dealer to check and the service department receptionist put me on hold for over 30 minuets and then hang-up on me and when I called back and I asked why did she do that, she was very rude, I asked to speak to a service supervisor and she transferred me to some other lady when I asked her about her name and title if she is a service supervisor she said it depends...? at this point I was very upset and I had a friend to drop me to the dealer, and I found out that the truck was read and no one called me, and they didn't even wash it as I requested in the morning, I spoke with the service manager he wasn't helpful nor interested even when I told him this would be my first and last time at this dealer, horrible service and I don't recommend this location to anyone, I will try another location to go to and I will report them to Ford international may be they care

He was very patient as we compared various models, did a test drive, and asked numerous questions. He made sure our car was serviced quickly and thoroughly explained all it's features before we drove off the lot. Alex Stoeber was the Sales Manager who assisted us with the lease agreement. He clearly explained our leasing options and made sure we were happy with the leasing terms and payment. Alex represents the dealership very well. We then worked with Roger Z. in Finance. Roger was up front and honest about the leasing paperwork. He explained each page clearly before we signed it. He handled all the paperwork efficiently. They made complete sense and I decided that I would lease the Fusion Energi and go back and the end of the lease and see if I was financially able to finally get my dream car the Mustang. Dan and Mike made it the best buying experience I've ever had. I am going to send all my family members and friends to these guys they are the best. My wife will be buying the new Explorer from these guys and only these guys soon. They even convinced my brother who leases a Benz to switch to ford after his lease is up.

I really had no intensions of buying a new car that day, but could not pass up the great offers that HB Ford had. I originally wanted to look at the Ford Escapes, but after sharing what my needs were to Mike, he escorted me over to the Ford Edge. I test drove the vehicle and fell in love with how comfortable I felt behind the wheel. I loved every feature of the Edge. Mike knew what I was looking for, even before I did! After our test drive, we went to meet with Mike's partner, Dan. I was a bit worried because I was still under a lease of another car, which I was no longer happy with. To my surprise though, these guys worked out a deal and took the car completely off my hands. Within minutes, Dan was able to crunch numbers to figure out the best and most comfortable monthly payments for me. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. After all of the paperwork was completed, Mike brought me out to my new and shiny Ford Edge! He even helped me to sync my phone, before I drove off of the lot. Fred was awesome! So patient and helpful. He spent a lot of time with us the first time we came in, showing us C Max's and Escapes. My husband and I purchased a car at Huntington Beach Ford this past weekend. Everyone was friendly and courteous and our salesman; Dan Lucha, was very informative about the vehicles and thoroughly explained the financing options. He definetly knows the car business and was no pressure, relaxed, and professional. I appreciated his direct approach; we didn't have to deal with a lot of back and forth negotiating. When it came time to sign the contract we also met with the sales manager who was pleasant, professional, and friendly. Once our car was ready, we were helped by another salesman; Michael Foster, who took his time in explaining all the technical features and instructions to using my Titanium Escape. He was friendly, relaxed, knowledgable, patient, and easy to understand. We received a call back from him the next day, and the day after that to see if we had any quesitons or needed any help understanding the navigation system or any of the other options. I appreciate his follow up as I am not technically savvy and am having a bit of trouble programming the date in my navigation system. Mike suggested I come in to see him and he'll help me with that and any other questions I might have. Overall, it was a good experience and I would definately recommend Dan Lucha and Michael Foster at Huntington Beach Ford.

A wasted day for two adults. I spoke to the salesman in the morning and made sure the truck was available and I agreed to pay the price they were advertising it for online. I drove two hours with another adult to pick up the car. When I arrived there around 4 PM the truck was waiting and the salesman took me for a ride in it. The truck was as advertised so we went inside to do the paperwork. That is when the nastiness and lying started. I declined their overpriced warranty program and other items they were trying to sell me. I came prepared to pay cash and leave with the truck. When the sales manager, Tim McDonnel, told me I needed to pay for it through his financing or walk away from the truck I knew I was in trouble. That was not stipulated in the ad or anywhere up until that point. This was a bait and switch move. Bait them in with something and then change the deal once they wasted their time coming in. They have everything to gain and nothing to lose by wasting your time so why not lie to get you into their store. That alone is reason enough to not do business with these people. Tim likes to act tough and not smile and just give you a hard time. He declined a bank check for the full price including tax and tags. The price advertised online and agreed to on the phone and on the test drive. Tim also declined my offer to drive up the street to the local bank and get a new bank check from them. He insisted I go get cash, over $30,000, 15 minutes before the bank closes. I phoned the bank and asked if they had $30,000 cash and they said no, they did not. I then asked Tim again if a bank check from that local bank would be okay and he said no. I needed to finance it through him. He was being rude and attempting to intimidated me. The guy was a real xxxxxx. This is classic old-school high-pressure intimidation sales. He wanted me to accept his crappy finanincing or walk from the deal. This was something I was not willing to do. I would not be doing business with Dirty Tim or the dealership he represented so I thanked the salesman, Raul, for his time and left the lot. Do yourself a favor and avoid this dealership at all cost. Unethical people doing unethical things. Don't wast your day driving out there, you will regret it.

Beware of this dealership! Watch out for Steve "floor manager, Edgar and Alex Stauber "sales manager." This dealership is as slimy as it gets. #1 they pulled a bait and switch, lied about the car in question. Steve stated repeatedly he had sold the car in question that very day, well I found it at the back of the lot. Came back the next day to cut a check and he gave me the same story. They were pushing Fords on me and I was there for the Honda Insight.#2 - they duped me into filling out a form, lied to my face repeatedly stating they would not run my credit and they did. When I called them to asked them to remove the inquiry Steve and Alex both mocked me and refused. --- I am so relieved I did not purchase my vehicle from this dishonest shady dealership. I went down to Honda Westminster and purchased my new vehicle with no hassle, no lies, no deception.

I negotiated my deal on email with Alex Barajas for a 2015 Explorer fully loaded model. I sent him an email that I am coming to the dealership for paperwork and buy it. I drove 35 miles with my family and was told Alex is not available. I was assigned a sales agent who didn't knew anything about the deal. I showed the emails and the GM rejected the numbers I was provided. GM threw the paper on the table and said - I should run my credit first and then he will give me new estimates. He was rude and arrogant. I walked out ...wasted 3 hours of my weekend time and had frustrated family.Guys - learn how to treat a client who is trying to buy a 50K vehicle from you guys.

I have been a customer at hb ford for over 2 years. There was a mishap with my vehicle but the dealership told me they would fix it and they did. Everyone is friendly a lot of former military personnel in sales. I'm pretty sure I saw one in that movie Act of Valor but i'm not sure, yet that's neither here nor there. The fact is they made good on a situation that was unfortunate, and kept a promise. I'll be bringing the car back for its scheduled maintenance.If you enjoy being treated well, HB Ford may be a relief to an otherwise exhausting and possibly insulting vehicle purchasing nightmare.

I am only giving one star because I have too. WORST dealership in the world. I purchase a 2012 edge 2 weeks ago it is in the shop needing a new starter, new brakes AND A NEW FUEL LINE when I pump gas the car pours gas from the fuel line and it is very hard for me to believe they didn't know about this issue prior to selling me the car. Not only do I now have issues with my 2 week year old car they charged me $1975 for "portfolio" my extended warranty they were giving me as a "Gift" these people are xxxx! When I went in too complain of course everyone scrambles and says OHHH I thought you knew you were being chargedFor that. NO I am sorry Mr. xxxxxxxx when someone tells me they're gifting me a warranty I assume I am not being charged! STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!

02/2014 purchased a 2014 Ford Focus, agreed on a price and salesman dropped me off with finance guy Max to sign the papers. This was 3rd new vehicle form HB Ford since 2008 and I've had all my service work done there as well so I thought I could trust them to treat me fairly. When I sat down with Max he proceeded to tell me how busy he was and how he had 3 more customers waiting, he asked if I needed any of the "extras" and I told him that I wasn't interested in anything like rust treatments and that sort of thing that the finance typically try to sell you. He said he understood and then the shell game was on. It was sign here, here and here....ok , ok, ok. The next morning I had to add the car to my policy and got the contract out to get the VIN number and low and behold there was a $2500.00 charge for an optional extended warranty that was never discussed. I wasn't asked about this and I wasn't given any brochures or others documentation. Spin it anyway you want but you don't have to be a rocket scientist to see what they tried to pull. The sad part is, had I not needed the VIN number I would have just made my monthly payments never realizing that I paid an extra $2500.00. This sort of deception went out in the eighties.....reputable dealers just don't work that anymore......

John Morgan made our buying experience wonderful! He was sincere, knowledgeable, if he didn't know an answer he either called or went directly and obtained the answer. We did not feel as if we were "customers", he made us feel as if we were part of the Ford Family. We purchased a 2014 Ford Limited that had to ordered from Ford. We were kept apprised of each of the steps, when the VIN was assigned, built date, came off the line, and the fact, due to the snow and rain it would be delivered 7-10 days late, Could not ask for a more pleasant buying experience, unless the invoice stated "no charge" ha ha ha. We are planning on purchasing a Ford Fusion or Focus, later this year , but only from John Morgan.

I went to Huntington Beach Ford after finding the perfect car on the internet. I was looking for a used FIAT for my daughter for months! The price was so good, I called to make sure it was correct! The salesman I spoke to, John Morgan, was very helpful and kind. I went down there right away and the car was everything they had advertised and more. I was in and out of the dealership very quickly and didn't have to sit around and wait due to the no-hassle Internet pricing. The staff was very polite and they expedited my purchase so I could try to get home before dark to surprise my daughter. John was very attentive...if I had a question he didn't know the answer to, he would quickly find out by making a phone call or searching the dealership. If you do a little homework and want a haggle free experience go to HB Ford. I checked out 6 other Ford dealerships and these guys were head and shoulders above the rest. From start to finish I was there for an hour and walked off with my second Ford Edge. The First I did not purchase from them. Moving forward I will not only recommend them but if they have a car that fits my needs they will get my business. Ask for John Morgan he is a straight up and honest man as was his boss(whose name escapes me).

The salesman, Richard Hulick, showed us the car and gave us just the right amount of information and details. After deciding that it was the car we wanted, Richard dealt with us in a very "up front" and honest manner, as we discussed the numbers of the deal...with no pressure at all...very professional and very courteous. As we moved into the financing aspect, the same was true of the Finance Manager, Ryan Smith. Explained the difference between the models and took his time to show me all the various options and how they work. Then financed with Dan Lucia and he was great! He was very patience and helpful! Spoke to the Fleet Manager - he said he would get back to me. Did not call back in a few hours so I called again, took long time for someone to pick up phone. Asked for fleet manager, forwarded my call but it went back to the receptionist again. Forwarded to fleet manager again (was supposed to...) then a salesperson named AJ picked up the phone - was short and had an attitude. I asked for fleet manager, said he could help me.... I said I needed to speak with Fleet Manger and he would not forward the call.... then HUNG UP ON ME. Could not believe it. HUGE ATTITIDE.... the worst dealer experience I have ever had. Buy your Ford somewhere else

This dealership sold me a used Ford Fusion for my college bound son, I planned to transfer the vehicle to Texas before the start of the fall semester. The saleman provided an AutoCheck Vehicle History report that stated "no accidents or events have been reported". One month after the purchase, I called the salesman to inquire as to why the paint was peeling on the bumper, as I'm not an experienced car buyer and honestly didn't know. I did not hear back from the salesman. My first thought was that it had been in an accident that was never reported, so I was concerned about the safety of the car. I then reviewed the dealership on this website, hoping to resolve the issue. The rating I gave them was not stellar. Thankfully, I heard from the General Manager immediately. He had researched the history of the vehicle and said the paint job was due to scratches on the bumper and it was touched up and repainted by a local body shop. He assured me it had not been in an accident as I had feared. He then offered to pay for the bumper to be repainted correctly at a body shop in Texas. I am currently researching options for a quote and am very pleased at how this was handled by the GM at Huntington Beach Ford. He responded quickly with a solution and was very polite and professional. I am also pleased with DealerRater and highly recommend them to other moms who are unsure about the integrity of dealerships in their community, this is a great tool to research, get honest feedback and to voice your concerns.

I'm from out of state and visiting relatives in Huntington Beach. I was in the market for a pickup and noticed the model that I was interested in on your lot. I went into the dealership and talked to Todd. Todd was very helpful, courteous and eventually we worked out a deal that I was very happy with. It was definetly a better price than I could find elsewhere on this particular model. I couldn't be more pleased. Purchased a 2009 F150 Platinum November 28th 2012. Prior to the test drive the truck failed to start due to dead battery. It happen twice while I was there. I was told it was because of the electronic step-rails depleting the batteries. Nonetheless, I did buy the truck and like it but last month the battery died again... I was able to receive a jump. Yesterday the battery said screw-it and killed over....no more! I called AAA and they tested the battery. One thing they said was that the battery was too small for the truck [there was room in the box for a larger one] and it was only holding a 10% charge. I had AAA replace the battery for $102.70 with a 3 yr free replacement warranty. I have attempted to contact the dealer multiple times in hopes to receive compensation. If it was a mistake I would understand but it leads me to suspect sub-par and underhanded tactics are the norm. I wanted to leave up my earlier post which was negative to show the progression of my ordeal. My faith has been restored in Huntington Beach Ford. They took responsibility and reimbursed me for the battery. Obviously, mistakes are inevitable in everything we do. The true test of a person's or business's caliber is the conduct "after" a mistake has been identified. Too many avoid the high road of integrity. Here Huntington Beach Ford displayed remarkable patience, professionalism, and integrity. They have my highest recommendations.

I purchased a car from this company in May 2012. Max, the finance guy had me sign papers, including a form stating the vehicle was for "Off road use". This was a 2006 Roush Mustang. I had to have a manager tell him I did not need to sign this form. I have since sold this car and I am trying to get my money back from the extended warranty and GAP insurance. I hae faxed (TWICE) the papers Max requwested. Then I sent it to him via a scanned copy and e-mailed it to him. Still no return. So I talked with Phil, a manager with no last name (he did not want to give it to me). I told Phil the issues I was having and he said he would take care of it immediately. It's now 10 days later and I can't reach him. He is always with a customer. I let another message for him today, 12-4-2012. On Wednesday, 11-28-2012 I called for Phil; however, he was off. I left two messages for the other manager to call me. He never did. I have been trying to collect my owed money since November 1, 2012. I wouod really like a manager or better yet, the owner to call me and explain to me why his employees are not accountable.

No respect. TO house sales tactics. A TO house, for those of you that do not know, is a dealer that turns you over to a "manager" after "manager" during the sales process. The "Manager" seemed aggressive and disrespectful. The "manager" came in saying, "so, I have to discount my vehicle $8,000.00 or you walk, is that the deal?". No hello, how are you. I asked for my driver's license back so I could leave and the "manager" kept saying, "what's wrong with you?". One of their tactics is to ask for your driver's license and keep it so you have to get it back to leave. I went there just to look at the car I thought I wanted. The salesman gave me the old, "if I can get you that deal will you buy it today?". We went in to fill out some paperwork and the salesman said that he had to ask if he could do the deal. TO house, in comes the "manager" with an attitude. I was actually wanting to buy the car since I really liked it. Trying to intimidate me is not a sales tactic that I enjoy. The "manager" stood outside and glared at me till I left the lot. You be the judge, was this a good experience you want?

Great price on a used truck. Initially, communication with sales and finance was poor, in part due to a rushed deal late in the evening on a Saturday... I think everyone wanted to get home! Myself included. Be sure to double check Purchase agreement before signing. Management impressed me with there professionalism and willingness to resolve an issue! Terrible experience at Huntington Beach Ford, the dealer lies to you by telling you that you have to purchase their overpriced extended warranty to get the loan, which upon confirmation with the loan company turns out to be a fraudulent claim designed to alleviate you of the burden of money.Once you request the contract be cancelled, you realize just how deceitful this lot are. They inform you that your funds will be returned within 6 weeks, but don't even process the cancellation request until 7 weeks are over. This is of course because they get commission after a certain time, so they don't want you to cancel to early.Three months on and they have still not processed the refund and are effectively ignoring my complaint through the better business bureau. They are now in breach of contract, but again that does not seem to bother Huntington Beach ForMy advice do not go to these people, or be prepared to be defrauded by a company that does not have your interest at heart. I also recommend not filling in the survey sent to you by Ford until you are sure that your experience with Huntington Beach Ford is complete!

This dealership has hidden fees that they do not inform you about, this is how they raise the original amount of the vehicle!! Once you realize that they charge you for a warranty you did not want, they will not refund your money back!! I have been trying to cancel this EXPRESS charge and they will not communicate with you or try to resolve your complaint. Very unprofessional staff, I would not recommend you go here!

Let me start by saying Ford was not my first choice. I wanted a Camaro but ended up with a Mustang GT CS. Why did I select the 2012 Mustang, Style, Price and Incentives. I did a ton of home work and much of the leg work to obtain my first New Car in over 15 years. I researched both the Mustang and Camaro and it came down to the bottom line. HB Ford's Philippe (Hope I spell it right) got the ball rolling with his outstanding customer support. Young Sales Person Cameron was current and knowledgeable on the Mustang line and offered me my first test ride in a 2012 Silver GT Automatic. That sealed the deal. I worked out a purchase price on a 2012 Mustang GT with OMAR (GM). Unfortunately the exact Mustang I wanted was not to be found on the lot. John Morgan in Fleet Sales was courteous and checked the data base for other 2012 GTs in the area. John is a very professional individual that knows the business. Unfortunately we did not find the exact GT. My requirements did not exactly make it easy on HB Ford. All along HB Ford was willing to help in any way. Finally I found the exact 2012 GT CS at another deal in OC. Here is where Omar the GM took over and helped. He arranged a trade and brought the Car to his Dealership and sealed the Deal. Omar kept his commitment to the original price even though we went outside his inventory. Delivery day is here. Alex Barajas pick up the car. We meet that afternoon and walked thru the Sync systems and operation of the vehicle systems. I would like to recognize HB Ford. This is my first experience with a car dealer that delivered on EVERY SINGLE PROMISE without compromise. My advice to anyone buying a car, Do your home work, carry a pre approved car loan with you or know your credit score, know the car you want and the average market price and if its a Ford go to Huntington Beach Ford and ask for Cameron Harlin. So let me begin by saying, this was by far the best dealership I have ever worked with. Me and my wife had saw a commercial about leasing an explorer so we thought we might stop in and check them out. I was greeted very prominently and respectful by one of the salesman named Cameron. He was a young kid but was very knowledgable about everything. He actually turned me on to the edge. He knew my budget and what I was working with and stayed with in those boundaries. There's nothing worse then a really pushy salesman and Cameron was nothing of the sort. I wasn't sure that I wanted to buy that second but I was then introduced to his manager Phil who was really funny and nice. Phil gave me such a good deal that I just HAD to do it. I am so happy with my new Edge that I will continue to get my car services with them because of the awesome customer service I was provided with. Thank you Cameron, Phil, and the rest of HB Ford! Very unprofessional staff, and the worst of them all is the manager Phil gilchrist.I bought a Mustang GT California special from this dealership in September 2010. Well spending that much money (it is a lot for me at-least) I expected great customer service etc. When I go home with my car, first thing I notice is that there is black dust all over my car remaining from the improper detailing of my car.Next thing I open the manual to find out I have a ford fusion manual instead of a mustang manual. (some one else was buying the fusion same time). Even worse, I find out the spare key they gave me also belongs to ford fusion. So some other guy out there is with my spare key. So obviously I call them to fix things, they ask me to come over and give me a new manual. They said they would mail me the keys once they find it. It's been a year and half. With over 30-40 phone calls. 10 visits to the dealership I still don't have it.Still not the worst part (Yes!!). I qualified for a student rebate. I submitted my documents. They were never filed with ford. Again on all of my visits I complain about it. My Finance manager Ryan was suppose to take care of it. He never did. After arguing with finance manager and floor manager on about 7-8 occasions they still haven't done anything for either of the problem. Every time I will get a response that i would be called back, confirmation would be emailed to me. And no response every single time!The worst part. I recently went there for my service, mainly so i can still make an attempt to get new spare key and apply for rebate. The manager Phil Insults me, says it is my fault for waiting a year and half. (even after tons of complains and personal visits). He says he doesn't wanna talk to me and help me because i do not understand that it is my fault for failing to file the rebate. He says i understand you did not get the keys but it is not my problem. Just pay $145 and get a new one made. When i ask him isn't it his job to fix problems and take of things, his words "it happened a year and half ago, its not my problem" .. "I have to answer to a boss, so i cannot do anything".... "I am just an overpayed babysitter at the dealership and cannot do anything"...So all in all beware.. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE.

I purchased a new car. During the process I was mislead, lied to and decieved. I was told I was getting one price then extras were added to the finance agreement. During the signing process I was distracted and did not notice the add-ons. The next day I went back to have them removed. I was told the maintenance contract would be credited. I followed up two weeks later and learned the credit had not been processed. I am so disgusted with the lack of integrity, that neither I, nor my family nor my associates will ever purchase a Ford product again.

Went to the dealership with my son & my personal mechanic friend, with intentions to purchase a used F150. Your sales people were decent. We test drove the truck,I made an offer. I was told it's not enough. I offered a little more,told the sales person to call me,and started to leave. Your sales manager, Nick Troy came out of his office in a very loud voice (in front of everyone) said,"it is a ridiculious offer", I said, "no offer is ridiculious,you can always counter". Nick Troy replied, "if you can't afford it, get out!" How can he know what I can or cannot afford? That was beyond RUDE & a bit humiliating, as he did it in the show room!!! He has NO sales or people skills what so ever! Having bought many vehicles in the past 30 years I NEVER experencied such tactless manners!!! I will be buying a F150, but rest assured not from Huntington Beach Ford! I should have read all the reviews before I went there. I guess it really doesn't matter much, you still employ Nick Troy. Maybe you should rethink your sales manager position, or send to some classes.

My wife and I bought a used 2006 Ford F350 from John Morgan at Huntington Beach Ford and from the day we contacted John by email, he went above and beyond spending time emailing us back and forth as we were 2.5 hours from the dealer. And showed patience with me as I am very picky and want what I want. After months of watching the website we finally found the one. Even though months had gone by, John still remembered us and was happy to hear from us again. We made the trip down to see John and when we arrived, he already had all the keys ready for the trucks I wanted to drive. From the moment I decided on one and started the deal, the process was smooth and stress free. From the top person all the way down to John they were professional and friendly. And to top it off, we missed an error on the contract we agreed on and signed and they were willing to tear that contract up and redo it correctly although they had no obligation to do so! I traveled nearly 50 miles to Huntington Beach Ford because of thier selection of used super duty trucks. I looked all over southern california for dealerships with the type of selection HB Ford has and found none! I began my contact with the dealership through email and was immediately contacted by Brandon Brown and Daniel Anguiano. I was able to work most of the deal out from home with the assistance of Mr. Brown and Mr. Anguiano.Upon arrival at the dealership, Mr. Brown was waiting for me to complete the deal. He had the keys ready for a test drive on the truck I selected and was very friendly. Mr. Brown was knowledgable about the truck I was looking at (2008 Ford F-250 Super Duty)and was up front about the pricing.The price of the truck was a good deal. The truck was priced about $8,000 below the estimated Black Book value.Mr. Brown guided me through the entire process and was honest when he answered questions. He did not make me feel like I was getting ripped off. I was very impressed by his honesty and knowledge.Mr. Valadez was the, "Closer" for the deal. He was honest and up front about every question I had. He worked hard to get me a decent payment and worked with my less than stellar credit! Mr. Valadez appeared to know his job and it enabled him to give honest and complete answers and/ or explinations for pricing.Once I got to the financing portion of the vehicle, I contacted Nick Troy. He was very friendly, clearly explained the forms in detail and even gave my 2 year old daughter paper and markers to color with while we completed the deal. He answered my questions immediately and honestly. I felt like I was being treated like a friend rather than a customer by all four employees. I was impressed.I also had contact with Ingrid Paschoalin on an earlier visit where I was unable to reach an agreable deal on another truck. She was very friendly, knowlegdeable and not pushy at all. She followed me to 50 different trucks and was willing to get keys for each of them so I could take a closer look at each. I would have returned o her on my later visit when I purchased my "New" truck, but I had already worked a deal over the phone with Mr. Brown and Mr. Anguiano.I traded in my 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 and recieved an OK price for it. This is the one negative part of the experience I had. Nobody would tell me what I was getting for my trade in, even after asked a few times. If HB Ford was more up front about this, I would have rated this dealership a 5 out of 5.After I bought my truck, I emailed Daniel Anguiano with a question regarding my truck and he responed very quickly with the answer. The bottom line, if you are in the market for a used Ford super duty truck or any other new Ford vehicle, HB Ford is a great dealership to go to. They are small enough to connect with thier customers, but big enough for good deals on thier inventory.

My husband and I had been shopping for a vehicle for some time. We were in no hurry to buy and visited this dealership a few times before actually makeing a purchase. They never got frustrated with all our questions, and were friendly each and every time we came in to test drive different models and or ask questions. I was even able to meet with the manager and the finance manager with all my print outs and calculations. They actually applauded our research on Edmunds.com etc, and took us seriously, not like my past experiences and other dealerships we dealt with while looking.In the end we decided to get a brand new Ford Flex. It was the best decesion we ever made. They really helped us find the best payment option and even with our not so perfect credit. I was also impressed with the fact that the sales team worked together. We spoke to two different sales reps on several occasions and they never tried to "steal" us from each other. We truly felt welcome everytime we came in.I also love the fact that they play country music in the lobby!

I used to buy all my vehicles from another dealer and after having such a quick and wonderful experience I won't buy anywhere else. Alex was very upfront and honest on the negotiating and Gabriel was knowledgable on the product. I bought a Raptor that other dealers were charging up to $10k over sticker. These guys were there to have me coming back, not looking to rip me off. Each of these guys took the time and had alot of patience in making my deal happen. They have really put the customer first! They listened and didn't make me jump through a bunch of hoops. The told me what they would do and stayed true to their word. Al worked with my fiancee and I to find the car we liked walking us around the entire car lot.Phil worked with us to negotiate the terms of the agreement and maintenance scheduled.Johnny worked with us to get a spoiler painted and installed later this week on the car we purchased.It is my opinion that all three men worked well together communicating problems and coming up with solutions so that my fiancee and I were completely comfortable and happy with our newly purchased Mustang. Overall it made purchasing a car the best experience I had had thus far and more enjoyable then the haggling done at most dealerships.

Yes, I would recommend this Dealership to my friends. I was taken care of, it took some work but I am satisfy with the truck and the service. My salesman John was very friendly and did what he said he would do, if you ever are in the need of a new or used Ford Truck go and see John Rodriguez. But what ever you do just get everything in writing. I had a great experience with the General Manager Omar Z, and the customer relation lady (Noid) great people. I will definably buy my next car with them.

I was lied to swindle and cheated . When I went there to buy a used pickup truck my only mistake was to trust them and they knew it and set me up for a classic rip off scam after I signed the papers and took the truck on the freeway home it was wandering badley when I arived noticed smoke rising from under the hood so the next morning sunday I went to check it first I saw an oil spots on the ground ok the engine leaks oil looked on the motor and saw oil leaking on the valve cover and dripping on to the exhaust then I went to check the steering it was very loose comming from the gear box then when I looked under the bottom of the entire truck it was completely rusted like a flood damadge or something from out of state so I said to myself no way this truck is not drivable and its a piece of junk I called them and went right back they said no problem I could swap it for another so I picked out another truck then was told I would have to come back in three days to close the deal but take the first truck back and return when I returned I was told I would have to trade in the first truck and take a twenty six hundred dollar loss and repurchase the other truck and pay twice for everything tax license and registration smog and all the drummed of fees they could come up with including a lojak I never saw I lost my trade in three grand cash buying a truck that should have been way under twenty thousand for thousands more that day was a six thousand dollar lesson I will never forget and they said they were doing me a favor becaue the deal was siged and sealed they had no obligation to help me because used cars are sold "as is"

This was my third truck I have bought off Huntington Beach Ford in six years. They really do have the BEST selection of Ford Super Duty Diesels around. I now live in Simi Valley and drove down to HB Ford (my old town) this weekend to buy a low mileage 2008 SuperDuty it was exactley what I wanted and I feel like I got a great deal on it, I also traded my 2006 Diesel I bought from them two years earlier. What a horrible experience! Liars to the core, from the top down. And I don't mean make an error or honest mistake, I mean look you in the eye and state an absolute mistruth with specific intent to deceive. My son went to this dealership to purchase his first vehicle as an adult and dealt with the characters that I address. He made a $25K offer on a truck that was to be an "OUT THE DOOR OFFER". The salesperson, John Morgan, considered his offer and agreed. A deposit of $1000 was left and contract was drafted by Max in finance for him to take to his credit union for finance. As he gathered the material, Max told him that he needed to sign the contract in order to get his financing. He looked at the contract that Max drafted and noted costs for an extended warranty and "Express Care" (Snake oil appearance treatment(s)) were added in the amounts of $2495 and $1995. He told Max that he was not interested in these items and Max told him specifically that he can request that these items be deleted when he is at the credit union. He believed this liar, signed and took the papers to his credit union. The loan officer at the credit union while drafting her documents called Max and again Max confirmed that these items could be deleted and she could draw her check in a lower amount. I came into the picture at this time. I reviewed the contract and the other disclosures and noticed that in the warranty that there was a notation that the vehicle was a Repurchase under the Lemon Law. Wow! I stumbled across this item. I contacted the dealership regarding this matter and John refused calls from both me and my son, the buyer. I then asked for Max. My calls were again refused. I asked for the manager and I was turned over to Oscar, a young, rude, unknowledgeable buffoon who proved to be completely incapable of the simplest task; like getting John and Max on the phone. After a cumulative time of more than two hours on hold, I asked for the general manager. I was turned over to Tim. Tim listened to my concerns, looked at the contract and replied, Tough. We have a contract and we will enforce it. Tim was abrupt, but in Tims favor he did drop the $2495 extended warranty, even though it can be refused by the buyer and refunded, but he did not know that I know that, and we came to terms on the Express Treatment(s) as I knew that my son was on the hook. I am well aware of the No Cooling Off clause in California contracts and I know that my son was basically screwed by these professional thieves who Got a young kid. After several hours of wasted time and very ill feelings toward each other we came to a price that was livable and Max (Who wasnt there per the telephone operator) drafted the new contract and sent it to the credit union. However it did take Max three times to get it right. We then drove 75 miles back to HB Ford to sign the corrected contract. When I got there nobody who said that they would be there were present. I asked the telephone operator/receptionist for Oscar and she looked beside me and said that Oscar was not in. I had taken off my glasses and while she was saying that Oscar was not there I could see a reflection in my glasses of a guy shaking his head Lipping Im not here. I turned around and said Hi Oscar and Oscar smiled and responded. Oscar knew who we were and why we were there. After a wait we were put in a room with another finance person, Ryan. First thing that I asked from Ryan was a copy of the Express Treatment invoice or proof that it was done. He complied. Then I asked for a copy of the Repurchase Agreement and the corresponding paperwork. Ryan said that my son got it and signed for it. I demanded another copy. Ryan pulled the file and gave me the original documents. I noted that the corners of the documents were not bent and that the one and only original staple was still in tact, no other staple holes. I asked Ryan how a copy was made if the seven page document was never taken apart and there were no fold lines that would happen if the documents were laid on a flatbed copier. Nothing but a Caught with the hand in the cookie jar blank stare. Ryan took the package apart and made a copy for me. When Ryan returned my son questioned why the Express Treatment was on the contract when two people told him that it would not be. Ryan replied Because it was done to the vehicle. My son then asked Is that not part of your preparation for sale? Ryan responded Yes. But by California Law we cannot include it in the sale price. I then looked up from the document that I was reading over the top of my glasses and stared at Ryan. You could not have imagined a more stupid look on anybodys face as the one that Ryan had being caught in his second outright lie in as many sentences. I kept my mouth shut and told my son to sign and lets get out of this place. I feel like I need to shower after being at this dealership. This is a dealership full of young punks who cannot help themselves from lying. It starts right at the reception desk and gets worse as you get manipulated through the slime of HB Ford. Inasmuch as each of the persons I dealt with was very well versed in deception and lying, I have to say that this is very likely the standard operating procedure for this dealership. My recommendation is that you make a concerted effort to avoid HB Ford. Note how low their Customer Satisfaction Rating. It takes effort to get this bad.

This was a very very good experience for me and my wife. HB Ford went above and beyond to help us pick out the perfect truck. They had a huge selection of used Ford Diesels on their lot. They allowed us to test drive multiple trucks and gave us four different finance options also. They were straight foward with all the paperwork and gave us plenty of time to make the right choice. HB Ford is a GREAT place to buy!!!

My son and I first contacted the dealer looking for a used economy car. We told them we needed to sell my F-250 4x4 Diesel before we could buy the other car. A few weeks later, they called my son and asked how much I wanted for the truck and told us they were the #1 seller of used diesel Ford pickups. They said the prices were not that far apart. We went down and they offered us less than they had previously discussed over the phone. A few weeks later, I had my son call again to see if there had been a change in their inventory. or if they could do better on their offer. We went back down to the dealership, and they offered us $19,500 on the truck. AJ said that that was all they would pay at auction, and the market was down. We talked it over for 10 minutes, and decided to take the offer. Here is where the S-C-A-M begins. AJ sais he could not issue a check that night because the owner was not there. He also said that they would put the truck on the rack to make sure the frame was not bent. Keep in mind, he had already looked it over and drove it twice at this point. AJ promised the truck would be done by lunch, and said not to worry, beacause there was nothing wrong with the truck. He asked if we could leave the truck overnight. At this point, mt wife had to drive my son to school and pick him up at lunch. The truck was NOT done at lunch, in fact, it was not done at 4:30 when I called. I told AJ we would be back after my son's sporting event about 7:30. When we returned, we were shuttled into an office and a list of "things that were wrong with the truck" was shoved at us. We were told that he could not buy the truck at the price he originally agreed on. Some of the things on the list were "a lock for the spare tire" (yes the one mounted on a pulley UNDER THR TRUCK) and two new tires. The tires on the truck had 20k on them, and the last set went 55k. I told him that this was a bunch of bull shit, and that he had wasted a day and a half of my time. He responded that I had wasted HIS time. I told him to bring my truck around, and the argument continued through the showroom. At a certain point some youger saleman butted in commenting on my attitude in the showroom. I guess these guys are trained to have no respect for anyone they try to screw over. I would like to hear from others, as I believe this is a common technique utilized hear. Do yourself a favor---go somewhere else!

My husband and I bought 2 cars within 6 months of each other from Huntington Beach Ford; a new Mustang and used Lexus and we had exceptional service on both. The minute we drove up customer service was asking if we just needed something to make our visit more comfortable. We bought both cars from Tim McDonnell and he was very professional and helpful all the way around. We are getting ready to do a trade in for a third car. I would not do business anywhere else except Huntington Beach Ford. Excellent!!!

i came into this dealer with some questions and seemed to catch one of the sales people on a bad day. i was quite upset so i got ahold of the sales manager, omar, and he was quick to act. he of course apologized and was very understanding to everything i had to say. id say that my initial experience was upsetting but after seeing how management handled the situation i was pleased and would say that i would definitely go back for some information on their cars and to service my expedition.being in sales i can relate to having a bad day and accidentally letting it slip into my professional life. i liked that there were no excuses, and everyone seemed authentically sincere.

I got duped! They kept me there for 7 HOURS! Then haggled with me, we agreed on a price, things got set up, finance had my info. I get shoed down the hall, the ass starts talking BS and shoving paper at me. I tell him no, I don't get a warranty, etc. He says oh, well you're signing to say you don't have a warranty, etc- as he's shoving more paper in front of me. I get no copies AND they can't find the key so I have to drive back the next day and pick it up. I'm tired, confused (and I'm not a novice car buyer!) They were rude, obnoxious, the receptionist was too busy flirting to give a rats ass and the "manager" Ken just gave lip service. Such a crock of S$#&! I hope karma is a bitch!!!!! Now I'm trying to unwind a sale since they lied and cheated me out of 5 grand. Good luck all you guys that think it's gonna be a good deal. THEY ARE CROOKS!!!!!!!!!!

H.B. Ford is the worst buying experience for me in 30 years.Forced me to purchase an extended warranty but told me I could cancel it at any time. Cancelled it 2 weeks later but have yet to be credited the $2800.00 it cost me and it's been over a month. Promised me a 2nd free tank of gas and 2 free oil changes never got it. Promised me 2 Ford Ball Caps, never got them.They also force you to buy a pre-installed Lojack anti-theft system at a cost of $800.00 (rip-off).I would never buy from this dealer again and would only use their service department for warranty work.I wanted to buy in Huntington Beach but now I regret it, avoid these guys like the plague, they have many bad reviews.Gary ElmerHuntington Beach, CA

Yes, I did ran into a warranty issue, as soon as Omar the General Manager was involved this problem was resolved and he went over and above to get a rental car for me and also is working on changing my warranty to the Platnum plan that we had purchased. I know being a business owner we are only as good as our employees. I have to Thank Omar for all he has done for us. Let's, Talk about fraud, BEWAREWe bought a 2006 Diesel F250 from Ford of Huntington Beach in May 2009, bought an extended warranty 48 month or 100,000 miles for $3000.00, never double checkedmy paperwork, when I took it into another Ford dealership for an oil leak, I pulled my extended warranty paperwork and the paperwork was not filled in (blank)and of course I am trying to get Ford of Huntington Beach (Nick Troy) to fix theproblem to get my extended warranty activated to a Platinum plan that I paid for, and of course can not get anyone to answer me back. In the mean time my truck isstuck in the shop unless I want to pay $2000.00 for the repair. Never, never go to this dealership, but know if you do, you will be defrauded, in some way or anotherthey will get your money. Update : Yes, they answered back and said you have a bronze plan that covers nothing, but again remember my paperwork shows everything is blank. How did this paperwork get filled out after I left the dealership and I decided to pay for the lowest possible coverage but paid $3,000.00 for the plan? Thisis fraud at it greatest possible point. I don't think it is the sales guys; remember the finance manager is the person that makes the commission off the extended warranty.

I understand buying a car can be a stressful ordeal. But I also know that working at a car dealership can also be very stressful. People think their trade ins are worth gold but yet come in and make crazy offers below dealer invoice on new cars. I am a former dealer of 33 years from Arizona and now happily retired. Often people with less than perfect credit want you to make miracles happen on a Saturday night when all the banks are closed and most of the time the have little or zero down payment. I get it and thats why I had to comend HB Ford for their professionalism. They took great care of me with white gloves and my new Ford Taurus Limited is one of the finest vehicles I have purchased. Not everyone is perfect nor is every dealership perfect but understand most people could not make it as a car sales person. They work very long hours sometimes past midnight, often they are on straight commision and have to spend the greater portion of their day dealing with the public. And if you deal with the mass public in your line of work than you know some people can be flat out rude at times and unreasonable. It is easy to get upset and point the finger when things dont go your way but ask yourself "was I truly being fair when I made my offer"? Everyone has to make a living and survive. You cannot walk into a grocery store and offer the butcher $1 over cost for a steak, or the baker $5 below cost for a loaf of bread. So why do people think its alright to do that to a car dealer? I am so glad I took the trip from 3 hours away. I think anyone in the market for a used F series should give these guys a chance first. I have to admit, I always dread purchasing a new car. However, I can't express how enjoyable my experience was at Huntington Beach Ford. The salesman, Paul Scott immediately helped me locate the perfect car for me and seemed incredibly knowledgable with the features of each car. They provided me with a fantastic deal that made the drive down to Huntington Beach more than worth it. I had done some comparison shopping, so I had a pretty solid idea of what I should anticipate spending. I sat down with the floor manager, Nick, and he was incredibly thorough and patient as he walked me through the deal. The finance department did an amazing job of giving me a payment plan I could work with. They did not pressure me or bully me into signing the deal, which seems rare these days. From beginning to end, this was without a doubt the best car-buying experience I've ever had and I highly recommend them.

UPDATE 4 SEPTEMBER 2010After my posting on Dealer Rater Aug 26 ( GO DEALER RATER!) I got an unexpected email on Monday Aug 30 from aforementioned John Morgan..."I talked to my GM and want to make it right - come back in and we will give you a deal"... Not so fast, I email back "Send me the full break down of costs, MINUS THE FRICK IN' $5,000 tires...and then I will think about it"...So John (not the GM) resends a breakdown of prices....the difference between the original "final" quote from previous week to this one is still $850 off - but her - at least now it looks legitimate - 3,000 Ford rebate (true) versus fairy tales of inflated MSRP minis non existent $13,000 in rebates....To make a long story short - I go in Tuesday Aug 31....offer to split the $850 difference in price - again I get the wait around for 45 minutes - finally they come out and say ..."Sales Manager won't do it!" - HERE WE GO AGAIN! Take me to the Sales ManagerHere is where it gets interesting and frankly better... I am looking at this former Special Forces Marine over the desk...next to me is Max the Finance guy, the aging John and the infamous Nick Troy. All men are over 6 ft and look intimidating...the conversation begins with offers and monkey business to the point for this Nick Troy, purple in the face starts SCREAMING AT ME ( I mean hey I am the customer)! I may be only 5 11 but have done my stint in the Army and will not be intimidated - I scream back to the point of "Hey, you wanna take it outside!!!"....Fortunately, at this point Alex steps in coolly and calmly and shoos all his people out and says to me "Look, I cant honor your request because I am already $3,100 in the whole and have no more room to go!". Finally he prints the invoices and original paperwork. True. I say OK but I am not paying for the tires...he says I'll give you a deal...I say don't even go there...He says Ok I will change them...do we have a deal? I say only if you give me a respectable credit interest rate...he comes up with %4.99 with US bank - I checked with Wells Fargo (6.99) and BofA - %5.00...SO YES FINALLY I GET MY FICKIN' EXPEDITION...and I say...couldn't we have done this in one hour the first time??? He just smiles - I guess some things will never change...Bottom line is...no way I can give these guys anything beyond a 4...avoid Nick Troy like a plague,,, Morgan is Ok but he is aging and is strictly a front man no decision making power - I felt sorry for the guy....deal with Alex direct...he WILL MAKE MONEY ON YOU but at least it will be a civilized conversation... AND THE LESSON LEARNED -DO YOUR REASERCHKNOW WHAT YOU WANTKNOW WHAT YOU CAN OR CANNOT PAYCOMMUNICATE FIRST VIA INTERNET WITH DEALERS - SO YOU HAVE SOMETHING IN WRITINGWHILE YOU MAU NEVER GET THE TRUE OUT THE DOOR COST IN WRITING AT LEAST YOU WILL HAVE SOMETHING ON HAND TO BARGAIN WITH - NO "I NEVER SAID THAT"IF YOU FEEL ABUSED, INTIMIDATED AND MANIPULATED- JUST WALK AWAY...

Wow, where to begin. Talked to a sales man on the phone, said he was a sales manager. He told me that the newpaper ad was correct, 10,000. off msrp, and even promised I would get that price. I asked several times and in several ways because we all know the questionable ethics of sales men.Get there, look at truck, ready to buy, talk out a deal with ken, who lead me to beleive he was able to close a deal. Ah no, he handed me off to the rudest guy I,ve meet in awhile.(didn't catch the name, but he's fat and has an accent) Thing is, he's trying to sell me a truck! He wouldn't give me a price, wouldn't discuss if I quailified for rebates and accused me of not being able to get financing. I'm 40 years old, make 100,000. a year and have a 803 credit score. Top 5 percent in the country, thank you very much. This guy, I'll call him F.A.R.T. (fat and rude to (me)),said he had to run my credit and get me in a deal before he could discuss the rebates. I KNOW, its crazy right!F.A.R.T. was rude from the get go and didn't seem to bright, so I said ok, tell me what all the rebates are and I can tell if I qualify for them and then I can fiqure out the price. He got upset, "I need to run your credit report" he said. how dare I question a car salesman! was the tone in his voice.I said ok sir, this isn't gett'n anywhere, call me when you can give me a price.F.A.R.T never called, I want a truck, so I call and ask for sales manager. I told him I felt bounced around and explained that I can seem to get a price. He wasn't able to help, (shocker) but said he'd call back with info. Later that day, yet another guy calls me and says come on down, they got the truck and a deal waiting. I think to myself, "your not fooling me twice", so I ask what the deal is? He doesn't know and asks what I'm looking for? Really? Its just funny at this point, so I go along. I do the whole thing over again. He talks about the rebates, but wouldn't say if I quailfy. A few minutes later I finally get me to say there is no way the can sell a truck at the promised price. The price was in a newspaper ad and also confirmed over the phone. I could not beleive how rude and unethical everyone there was. Even a parts guy I talked to on the phone was rude.

I was looking to purchase a new Ford vehicle for my business. I took the vehicle for a test drive and rquested to sit down and go over some financing options. Basically I wanted to know what my approximate monthly fee would be. John Morgan who was rude and obnoxious said that unless I was ready to buy now, he really didn't want to spend the effort. That guy should be terminated as he is the epitome of rudeness. In a market that is srtuggling, I would expect the highest degree of customer satisfaction form a salesperson. I am glad he does not work for me otherwise he would be in the unemployment line.

DO NOT GO TO HBF.Worst experience my husband and I have ever had. After hours of negiotiating and agreeing on a price including warranty, montly payemtns and interest rate once we received the paperwork from the finance department the only thing that was right was the payment. The interest rate was way higher and the loan was for two years longer then agreed upon. They sell price was way higher then we agreed to. Read the paperwork carefully because chances are it is completely different then what they agreed to.I would only recommend this place to my worst enemy. They were horrible and a bunch of liars. Biggest mistake we made was not reading these reviews before we went down there. STAY AWAY!!!

I was a little afraid of going to Huntington Beach Ford especially after reading all the negative reviews on here but they had a car that I was really interested in at a really great price...my mom went in after she dropped me off at work and spoke to a really nice guy named Andrew H.! He was really friendly and she explained to him my situation and what monthly payment I was interested in getting! After I got off work I met him for myself and saw the car in person (until then I had just seen pictures online) the car was beautiful with some minor scratches and a few dings here and there but nothing major! (You have to expect a few imperfections on a used car!) However, the interior seemed brand new and the car felt so solid during the test drive...my mom and I fell in love with the car! So, then after our test drive Andrew had us sit down to get down to business...I told him I wanted a car payment of $175/month he came back with an offer of $252/ month (which included a warranty) or $212 (w/out a warranty) I was very firm that I would not be willing to go OVER $200 (not even by $1!!) So, his manager,Oscar, came back a second time and shook my hand and said: "Ok, $200/month it is!" I was so excited that we were able to avoid having to put MORE money down then we planned on (especially since we didn't have any more!) and that I got a payment I was comfortable with! Then, it was time to move into the finance dept. a guy named Sean helped us! He was also very nice and made the process smooth and painless! There was no funny business or extra fees added...everything was as we agreed upon! We were in and out in about 2 hours!I am floored by all of the negative experiences people have had and the talk about picketing...I couldn't be happier with my experience at Huntington Beach Ford and I can feel confident in my recommendation of: Andrew, Oscar, and Sean! If you're looking to buy a car ask for Andrew and you won't be sorry! Btw, I got a 2005 Toyota Camry for anyone interested! :)

First to credibility. I am a dedicated Ford truck owner. They are simply the best, most rugged, most thoughtfully designed trucks on the road. Then; we, myself and my wife, do dogged research on all our vehicles before we purchase them. We know the price we can expect for our vehicle and the price we should be paying for the new one before we set foot on the shopfloor. She does most of the Internet searching for us and found a great truck at Huntington Beach Ford. The mistake we made was that we did not research the dealer before we dared set foot in the crocodile trap - never again.So, what happened? We had just upgraded our tow-behind trailer to a 34-foot toyhauler so we needed to upgrade our gas F250 with a Banks Power System to something that could comfortably handle up to 13,000 - 14,000 lbs. Leaving us with the diesel F350 DRW (if we could find one) or probably the diesel F450 DRW. My wife found a couple; one in Texas and the other here at Huntington Beach Ford. The difference between the two on the surface was the cost of shipping the truck to the left coast. Both were on sale at $40,990. So I phoned the store, spoke to the Internet Sales manager, Jason, and told him I'd be there that night to give it a once over. He and his partner were gracious and knowledgeable about the vehicle, the price and the process. I liked what I saw, I noticed a small ding on the front right hand fender and discounted it as a minor issue.My wife went down to the store on the Friday to look at, and drive the vehicle. She fell in love with it at first sight so we returned on the Saturday to do the paperwork and hand over the keys to the old, much-beloved F250. At this stage only minor defects had been discovered on the new (used) truck that they had promised would all be fixed.The interminable paperwork designed to irritate the hell out of Mother Teresa was tortuous but we weathered that fairly well. The "Finance" guy - the saleswolf disguised as a bean-counting sheep - the one that's supposed to sell you all sorts of crap, was decent enough but failed to pawn anything off on us we didn't want. I've told you, we've done this before.The turd hit the fan when we receive the key, singular, to our new truck. Where's the second key, the second remote? "No," we were told, "there's only one." Why? "It's a used truck, what do you expect?" I expect two keys, two remotes. We gave you two keys, two remotes, we want two keys, two remotes. Period. We don't want the old owner picking up our new truck and 'recycling' it, now do we? "Well, we don't have any in stock, but we can get you a new spare set, it's gonna cost you." Jeez. Ok, we swallow this, the wife is starting to show signs of impending volcanic eruption, but we get into the truck. I decide to check the glove compartment and notice there's no 'key' for the spare tire in the pouch. We haven't even switched the truck on and this is the second item to pop out at us. The wife ejects herself from the truck and starts hunting down the salesman and the service guy. They can't help her so she grabs the key from our old truck and, breathing heavily, settles back in to the passenger seat.Take note that the moment the key was in our hands everyone disappeared from our immediate vicinity and it took a while for her to find someone to talk to.I turn the truck on. PING. Trailer wiring fault. I don't got no damn trailer attached! PING PING PING.... Hmmm. We park the truck right front and center. Find someone - the slowest one obviously as the others had all slipped away. They must have very large restrooms. He doesn't believe me and has to drive it a few yards... PING PING PING. Hmmm. He takes it back to the service bays. We stand in front. I google 'trailer wiring fault F450' on my Blackberry. It seems it is a common fault on the Super Duties... too little dielectric grease in the housing. A simple thing to fix. Thirty minutes later the truck is back, "Sorry, we didn't notice that... " First Lie. "It's a warranty item so we will replace it but we don't have one in stock. We'll have it Thursday, SECOND LIE - please bring the truck back Thursday." No advice on how to deal with the interminable alarm - PING PING PING - better than waterboarding for getting terrorists to talk, I would suggest. Luckily I had also googled how to deal with it and someone had noted that you have to press 'reset' while the alarm is showing. So I educated the guy before we drove off. They also said the spare key set would be there.On Monday the wife inspects the truck with a fine toothcomb and discovers there is no spare tire. She, um, lets them know there is no spare tire.So Thursday rocks around and the wife takes the truck back to HB Ford. The harness isn't there and we're going to have to pay for the spare set of keys. But - good news; they tell us the lock for the spare tire is on the jack, behind the second bench seats. The wife refuses to leave without the harness being replaced - so they find one - from where? no-one knows, probably took it off a new truck. She parlays them to the point that we don't have to pay for the spare set of keys. Small success. Then as she gets into the driver seat, she notices a small crack in the front windshield - it wasn't there before! Now it's Gladiator-time. The truck goes back to the service bay, the service manager says the crack was there when the truck came in and he proves it by showing her the service sheet. On the service sheet she notices the infamous 'Trailer Wiring Fault.' And they say that the crack isn't fixable. So she phones me and we cut our losses and she leaves the store, never to return. The key set was provided free of charge after severe 'negotiations', the 'unfixable' crack has been fixed - $35.00. The harness was replaced by HB Ford and the spare tire was replaced. The tone of the crew throughout was 'that's the sales department, they didn't tell us to fix it,' 'it's a used car, what do you expect?'. It was case of seeing what they could get away with.The only thing they have achieved is to lose a potential life-customer. They have the largest selection of big trucks on the North American continent, they are an hour's drive from my home and they will never see us again. What a difference it would have been if they had fixed the crack, provided the complete set of keys and replaced the spare and harness before they put the truck on the lot? I would be telling all my friends about the truck and how clever we were at finding HB Ford... What the crew there (with some exceptions) forget is that the truck, used or not, is the second-most expensive asset we now possess and it carries our family safely to and from our vacations. It is the enabler of our dreams and the final defense of my family if we ever get into an accident. And they are just out to make a buck.Do you notice that the 'good feedback' reports above doesn't have much detail in them? Names and vehicle types seem to be missing? And they read like advertising text.. But the complaints are rich in detail, aren't they? I wonder if there isn't some guy in the large rest room typing in false positive feedback forms while waiting for an irate "soon-to-be ex" customer to finally give up and leave the lot.

THEY AGREED TO FIX IT PRIOR TO SALE BUT ON MY DO BILL THEY ONLY LISTED BUMPER DAMAGE. WHEN THEY DID THE WORK THEY ONLY FIXED BUMPER AND THE ORIGINAL DAMAGED HEADLAMP WAS LEFT ALONE. WHEN I TRIED TO GET THEM TO FIX THE HEADLAMP I GOT THE USUAL RUN AROUND. THE KEPT MY TRUCK 6 DAYS ONLY TO TELL ME THAT THEY WERE NOT GOING TO FIX THE HEAD LIGHT AS IS WAS NOT ON THE DO BILL. I have pulled the plug on my deal to buy a 2004 F-150 from these crooks. If you enjoy being lied to, cheated and abused, this is the place for you. At Huntington Beach Ford I learned how to waste hours of my valuable time in four easy steps:1) RESPOND TO AN INTERNET AD - The prices are a lie because they do not include their "dealer markup" fee of $1,900. (No joke. Get someone on the phone and they'll eventually admit to it.)2) TRY TO GET A CALL BACK - The more I called trying to ask some questions, the more people they had call me back. Each time I was forced to start over and the price got worse every time. Also, for extra fun buy a Carfax on the car and then quiz them on the vehicle's history. The lies you get are worth extra points.3) MAKE YOUR DEAL OVER THE PHONE - Try to get them to commit to something, anything, on the phone and that should be good for several days of needless back and forth. The answer will always end up being "if you want that price you'll need to come in to the dealership." Gee, I wonder why that is...4) MAKE A SPECIFIC, CLEAR OFFER - If your attempts to close a deal are not met with an almost systematic rudeness (meaning no matter whose turn it is to call you back, they've all memorized the same insults) then you'll at least glimpse what you're in for next. No deals on the phone, no agreements on the phone, no closure. Closure will only happen after you've been sitting in their financing trap for multiple hours.BONUS: Did you know that the smokin' deal you're eyeballing is most likely a dealer buyback? I would like to start by saying that this is my second car purchase from Huntington Beach Ford. I purchased a mustang from them back in February of this year, and couldn't be more thrilled with not only the vehicle but also the terms of my loan. I had never had such an amazing car buying experience. Not only was everyone extremely professional, they were also very friendly and I felt like I knew everyone personally when we left. Even the GM of the company offered to get us coffee and chatted with us while we were waiting to get our newly detailed vehicle. The mustang is a blast to drive and is a lot of fun. It drives so smoothly and actually is pretty good on gas. My husband and I absolutely LOVE THIS CAR!! When it was time for my husband to trade up on his vehicle there was no question in our minds who we were going to.. Huntington Beach Ford of course!! Not only will I always purchase every car I own for the rest of my life from them, I will encourage every single one of my family members, co-workers, friends, and even the strangers I don't know reading websites like these to purchase their vehicle from Huntington Beach Ford! Never have I found such an enthusiastic group of people eager to help, friendly, and professional all at the same time. From the sales people, the upper management, the finance, to the mechanics (who have helped service our car), every person that I have met from Huntington Beach Ford has been off the charts in terms of customer service and support. I forgot to mention that every time I have brought my mustang in for service or a car wash, it has been done timely, and come back with a full tank of gas and so clean that it felt like I was driving it off the lot for the first time. Not to mention the service advisor (Brittany) who takes care of me when I come in, is extremelly professional and doesn't try to sell me different things I don't need. Being a woman and not knowing a whole lot about what's under the hood of my car, I have found that most mechanics and service shops have tried to take advantage of me. Not Huntington Beach Ford! They get straight to the point and make sure I am in and out of there with no down time! So... Back to why I am writing this and what I started to tell you earlier... My husband Gary decided it was time for an upgrade a month or so ago so we decided to go back to our favorite dealership in the entire world to make our purcharse of course!! Of course when we were met at Huntington Beach Ford we received nothing but warms smiles and friendly handshakes!! I am telling you if I didn't work full time I would probably go there a couple of times a week just to grab a cup of coffee and talk to the staff becuase they are all so friendly and welcoming! I really can't believe how sincere and kind they have treated my family and I, from the very first time we walked through the doors. This time my husband was interested in getting an expedition and of course we had so many to choose from. Every color, every interior, every choice possible. We sat down with Ingrid (who again is WONDERFUL), and let her know what features were important to us and what colors we like best. Within a few moments she wized through the computer and said "looks like it's your luck day! come with me!!" Gittly we started outside with her around the corner where we saw it. The perfect black, eddie bauer, limited 4X4 2009 expedition. It had every feature we wanted plus some!! We immediately then started going over numbers which was another great experience!!! They offered my husband fair market value for his 2001 F150, gave us a rebate, and got us a smoking rate!!! Our payment actually ended up being $55.00 LESS THEN WHAT WE HAD ANTICIPATED!! Did I mention that the entire process start to finish only took and hour and fourty five mintues!! Half of the time, which we were chatting with Ingrid and some of the other friendly employees about our purchases and how HAPPY WE ARE!! I also need to mention another story of a girlfriend of mine that I referred over to Huntington Beach Ford because I know she would never take the time to write this letter out but I feel obligated myself after what an amazing experience we have had. My girlfriend told me that she purchased a 2010 Ford Edge through Huntington Beach Ford.. Not only did she have the same raving reviews that I did, but I was told the upper management personally helped her sign her contract and understand some of the legal terms that she did not quite understand. She said she really wasn't going to even ask but that they went above and beyond to make sure she was not only satisfied with the purchase but extatic about her new car!! For me and my family Huntington Beach Ford is the ONLY PLACE TO BUY YOUR NEXT VEHICLE PURCHASE!! Go in and see for yourself!! HUNTINGTON BEACH FORD IS BY FAR THE BEST PLACE TO BUY A CAR!

My letter below was to be sent to Ford Motor Company but after speaking to them on the phone to get an address, I was told they don't take these types of letters.On December 5, 2009, me, my husband and two small children, ages 2 and 7 months, headed down to Huntington Beach Ford. We were looking to buy a used Ford F250. When we got to the lot, we started walking around looking at their inventory. Paul, one of the salesmen, approached us and asked what we were looking for. We explained that we were on a budget, but we were looking for a Ford F250, 4x4 diesel truck, but our main goal was to keep our payments at or below $300 a month. After showing him the trucks we were interested in, Paul told us we could probably work with the numbers on a F250 with a sticker price of $32990. So we headed into the office to start talking numbers.The first go around, they came back with a payment amount of $390. I told them that didnt work, it was too high, and reminded them again that we HAD to keep the payment at $300 or below. Again, he came back with the payment in the $375 range. I told them again, that was too high. At this point, the other guy working the numbers, I didnt get his name, says to me, Come on, you gotta work with me here. I told him Im sorry, but I told you what I can afford, I am trying to work with you as best I can. This game continued for 5 hours. I told them several times that I understood that they needed to make money too, but that I couldnt afford to go over $300 a month. If we couldnt make it work with that particular truck then we needed to keep shopping. But they kept telling us to hold on, and then theyd come back with a new number. By this point, my kids are tired and hungry and getting fussy. We finally decided to just leave because they couldnt get the payment to where we needed it. We thanked them for trying and headed out the door. When we got in our car, my 7 month old was hungry so I decided to feed her before we got back on the road. While we were sitting there, Paul came back out and said their final offer was $27500 for the truck. Our payments would still be at $340 a month, so again, we told them no thanks. We sat there another 10 minutes while I finished feeding my daughter, then we left. On our drive home, we talked about the offer and decided that we would just take the deal so when we got home, my husband called and told them wed like to buy the truck but asked if we could come down in the morning to do the paperwork. It was already 6:00 PM and our kids needed to eat and go to bed. Paul told us No, that the deal was only good that night and wed have to come back to the lot before 9 PM to finish the deal. Unfortunately, we couldnt do that because of our children so we said, Oh well, thanks anyways and hung up. After my husband hung up, I decided to look at their website just to see the truck again. When I pulled up the site, there was a picture of the same truck listed for $26,990. $510 less than their best offer to us. So after 5 hours of negotiating and keeping my 2 young children there, the best offer they could give us was still $510 over their price online. So my husband called them back and said, Umm, yeah, we were wondering if we could come down tomorrow and discuss buying the truck at your internet price. Paul put him on hold for a long time, then when he got back on the phone, he was stammering and said, Oh yeah, we tried to come out to your car last night to make that offer to you but you had already left. I cant dispute that, but if they were sincere in trying to make that offer to us, they could have called either of us on our cell phones, or when we called them from home, they could have made that offer at that time. They did neither. The next morning, we loaded up the kids again and headed back down to Huntington Beach Ford. Personally, I was expected some kind of apology, or acknowledgement that they screwed up, but when we got there, Paul acted as if nothing had happened, and sat down with the paperwork and said, Now what was your question about the Warranty? I stopped him and told him that we needed to talk about what they pulled on us the day before and expressed that I was very angry that they kept me and my family there for 5 hours negotiating a price that was higher than their advertised price. First he told me that he tried to tell us about the price, but we had left, then he told me that not once during our negotiations did I mention the internet price. I had the ad and pointed out that nowhere on their ad did it say that this was an internet ONLY price. I told him that had we known about the internet price, we would have came in and started our negotiations at that price, not the $32990. He told me that was their bottom line price and that would have been the final offer. Next, I asked him why they didnt offer us that price to begin with, knowing I was trying to keep my payment at $300 or below. His response to me was that the price of $26900 wouldnt have brought my payment down under $300. I told him it would have brought it closer than where we ended up. Paul begin to get rude, and short with me, so Ill admit, I got angry and started yelling back. The more I talked to Paul, the more it was obvious that not only was I not going to get an apology, but he was only going to keep making excuses. So I told him we were done talking and we got up to leave. I explained that I wrote a letter to their corporate office, to which they told me, so what, and that I would never buy from them and planned to tell everyone I knew about the way they had treated us. Paul just laughed and told us to go then.When we got out to our car, the other salesman who was working with us the day before, along with 3 other guys approached me and asked what was wrong. I quickly explained again why I was so angry and his response to me was, Well, whyd you even come back? I told him I thought I would give them an opportunity to compensate me for the time they wasted the day before. He asked me what I had in mind, so I told him I wanted the truck for $21,000. I came to that figure because I spent 5 hours negotiating $5500 off the price of $32990. So I took that $5500 and deducted it from their internet price, which was $21490. Of course they laughed at me and in front of all their other customers, walked away from me shouting that I was crazy and that I wanted a $30,000 truck for $21,000. I shouted back that if they were a good salesman they would have at least tried to work with me from that number. He continued laughing and telling they were done with us. So again, I shouted back at him that I had written a letter to the corporate office and that I planned to tell everyone I knew about the treatment we received from them. Then I got in the car.While I was in the car, another salesman or manager approached my husband who was loading the stroller in the back and asked if he was the Marine, to which my husband responded yes, and then he told him that he needs to stop shouting in front of his customers, that he doesnt put up with that shit on his lot. My husband looked at him and said, Sir, I havent said 3 words.Then we left.We were lied to, pressured, yelled at, insulted, threatened and overall cheated out of two days of our lives. I understand that the Ford Motor Corporation cannot control the behavior of these salesmen on private lots, but they are representing the Ford product. After we got home on Sunday, I looked up a website designed to allow shoppers Rate a Dealership and while there were a handful of good ratings, I was shocked at how many bad ratings they have received. I was also surprised to see that many people had the same experience as I did when dealing with these salesmen in regards to their rudeness and hostility towards you if you didnt agree with them or called them on their wrong doings. I would hope that Ford could in some way address the way these gentlemen are representing the Ford Product. I have included this website so you may view for yourself.In a time when the economy is running low, and after all the media attention the car industry has received, you would think they would be a little more friendly to people who are looking to give them business. There was a day when customer service meant something, when customer satisfaction meant something, and when customer opinion was important to a business. It seems those values have been lost over the years and unfortunately, nobody seems to care. I am anxious to hear what action, if any, you plan to take in addressing this incident as it will dictate how I shop in the future.

I was shopping for a small SUV and stopped by HB Ford on my way home from surfing.I checked out their website the day before so I had done a little homework. It was also really important to be able to fit a couple of surfboards inside my vehicle at a time for road trips down south. I was greeted by Zach, who immediately, I became comfortable with. No pressure. After explaining what I was intereted in, all he wanted to do was help me find the right one. He showed me several preowned SUV's that looked great. Zach was super friendly and helpful, he took his time and I never felt hurried or rushed to make a buying decision. I finally decided on a 2006 Ford Explorer. He offered to let me test drive it home with one of my boards inside to make sure that two would fit, I thought that was really cool. (Two surfboards fit no problem inside, I could have fit 4). I took my wife back with me to HB Ford that same day and we looked at a few more Explorer's and we ended up deciding on a different Explorer. It worked out so perfect, because my wife picked out such a better one. Zach made all of this so simple and easy. We got the price we wanted with no problems. Financing was quick and simple. All in all it was a awesome buying experience. I have since recommend HB Ford to all of my surf buddies. After your next surf trip to the beach, stop by HB Ford, you'll be glad you did!! Aloha,Mike

I have been to many dealer ships, but have never purchased a new vehicle before. My experience with HB Ford will not be forgotten. The customer service that was shown to me was fantastic. In fact, I have already sent my uncle and my sister there and both have purchased vehicles. The Sales man, Zach, was very patient with me and did everything I asked. I told Zach that I did not like coming to dealerships because of the length of time it takes to buy a car. Being a stay at home mom with two boys is very difficult when having to take them with me everywhere I go. All the sales man helped so much by keeping the boys happy and playing with them, that my experience flew by very quickly. They were very patient with all my questions and explaining things to me to make sure I wasn't haggled into anything unnecessary. At the end of the deal, Omar, who also was very helpful with my children, came out to thank me for doing business with their dealership. I told him it was the best experiences I have ever had at a dealership and I will be sure to let all my family and friends know what a great work environment he has running at HB Ford. I recently purchased a new F150 sport edition truck from Huntington Beach Ford. I had been shopping around for a while when I called (HBF) a gentlemen by the name of Tim answered and was extremely friendly he took the time to answer my questions and made me feel comfortable enough to drive there from San Diego. Once I arrived at (HBF) the sales staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. After returning from a test drive I then went over the numbers I felt that they cared about my goals and what I was looking for. I would have to say that this was the best experience buying a car. I was so pleased that a few months later I went back with my Fiancee to purchase her a new Ford Fusion. Keep up the good work!!!

I called before hand and when I arrive they had the perfect vehicles ready for me to test drive I was in and out of finance in 30 minutes I was amazed by the customer service I received. I was looking for a used truck. I found a great selection of trucks at Huntington Beach Ford. Prior to shopping at this dealership, I spent a good month researching the truck I wanted. My experience at Huntington Beach Ford was the best by far of all the other dealerships I went too. The truck and the price were both unbeatable. I also appreciated the professionalism and courtesy of the staff. The sales manager Alex Stoeber, made me feel very secure about my decision and the buying process was completed in less than an hour. I purchased a F250 from this dealership and got excellent service. They didn't waste my time trying to sell me something I didn't want. They brought me right to the truck I was interested in buying. The paperwork was done in a timely fashion and I wasn't oversold with unescessary "extras". I have told all my co-workers, family and friends to go to HB Ford if they are planning on buying a vehicle. When it's time to get service on my truck or purchase another vehicle, I will take my business there.

I went looking for a new Ford but didn't know what I wanted. I have been to other Ford's in the area but I didn't get the customer service that I was looking for and that is everything with me. When I got to Huntington Beach Ford I was welcome by a very nice salesman and he showed me the cars and as I got to know him I knew that I was going to by from here. He had great info on all of the Fords and wasn't asking for the sale which I hate! We finally found the Ford I wanted and it ended up being a New 2010 F-150 FX4 which I loved. The salesman really made me feel at home no pressure was put on me by him or his managers which really showed me a lot. If you are looking for good service and price get you car from here!

We drove from Nevada to purchase a Mercedes which we saw advertised. It was exactly as advertised and the price was better than any we could find locally. Sales staff was very friendly and helpful; financing staff was great as well. No complaints. Would highly recommend.

I have to admit reading all these post from other people it seems intimidating to buy a car from any dealership. I looked into this website www.dealerrater.com before making my purchase. I looked everywhere esle to see who had good inventory. HBF had a huge selection of Super Duty trucks to choose from. Some lifted some stock and a ton of f-450 dually, When I got to the store I always kept my guard up. Well I don't know what to say other than I was wrong to assume bad things, this dealership was great to work with. When the Gm (Omar) overheard Tim and I talking about why I needed a big truck to pull my boat with he asked what kind of boat I had, and I told him a 38zf Donzi center console fishing boat, he then realized I was a hardcore fisherman which just happens to be one of his favorite pass times. The GM (Omar) was very familiar with the boat and recommended the right truck for my towing needs. He went above and beyond to make sure that my set up was perfect for towing my boat. Because the staff had the extra knowledge that I was not aware of, this made me feel that much better that I made the right decision buying from (HBF). I wish this system would let me post a picture of my new truck towing my boat it looks really good. I have referred some of my buddies that needed trucks and they had just as good of an experience. Keep up the good work (Huntington Beach Ford) I think they have set the standard for other dealers to follow.AgainThank youJason

I bought a used car and of course went through the 4 squares of the car business.#1 reason I drove 20+ miles to see the car is because of the selection. They have by far the most trucks on the lot than the other 15 dealers i visited combined.Yes I had an issue with the to do list once the deal was done but Tim and Eric made it happen . When it is said and done I got more than I ever wanted from them . I have referred over 10 people to them and will keep doing so until they let me down!

All salesmen are friendly when you are buying a new car, it's after you buy that you have problems. In my case, when we were negotiating, the salesman promised a free extended warranty in the deal. When it came to signing the contract, we noticed a charge of $1999.99 for an extended warranty. Upon bringing the charge up to the finance manager, he said there was no promise of a free extended warranty. I should have known better, but it was Midnight and we were tired, so we signed the contract. The next day, I cancelled the extended warranty in writing and delivered it to the finance manager. All is fine, but it took six weeks to receive the refund. My recommendation to all buyers is to take your time when reading the contract and bring a recorder with you so you can prove what the salesman is promising( a small recorder that can be hidden). Once you sign that contract, there is no turning back. Don't let anyone rush your decision and remember when buying a new car, you don't have to buy an extended warranty right at that moment. A better warranty can be bought from Ford Motor Co. on the computer for half the cost of the dealers and with better coverage. A used car with 36,000 miles and under an extended warranty can be purchased from FMC also. REMEMBER, WHEN YOU SIGN THE CONTRACT, YOU CANNOT BACK OUT OF IT. Unfortunately, not all salesmen are honest and they are going to try anything to get a bigger commission from you no matter how nice you think they are. Once the sale is made, they move on to the next (sucker) customer.

This dealer has posted trucks that are one price online and then when you get there they do not want to honor the price that is advertised and/or then try to get you in a truck that is more expensive or and has problems with it. This dealer is great at playing the game of bait and switch. They also tell you that the truck they want you to buy is a Ford Buy Back, but yet they WILL NOT provide you with the Carfax report and state that it cost too much money to pull. We played the pricing game for hours and in the mean time while we wait we have to listen to the other sales reps argue and degrade each other behind others backs, but what was even more shocking, was to listern to one of the sales managers harass other customers. Whithin the hours of being there, I heard several customers yelling and arguing as they were trying to leave with one of the sales managers. At one point, one of them said to a man with his 2 teenage boys as they were trying to leave because of the poor customer service say "Fine, get out of here, BEAT IT!" I am completely shocked and in disbelief of how horrible these people are to their customers. I will never give my business to this company, and I have already done my part in spreading the word on this horrible dealership. There is only one good sales men there (who happens to be new) that is honest and hard working going out of his way to help you find the truck that fits your needs, but it is not worth my time or sanity to ever go back to that Hell Whole!

This dealer, Huntington Beach Ford, engages in misleading and manipulative business practices and exploits trusting and vulnerable customersI am a 71 year old retired aerospace worker who that day, 5 July 2009, with the help of a young man, Jevon Piper, who initially showed me candidate Escapes found the car I wanted . He accompanied me on the test drive, engaged in pleasant conversation which included his education and career goals.My impression with Jevon was very favorable and he impressed me as being sincere and well intentioned. I thought here was a conscientious young student working weekends to help pay for his education.I was encouraged that HBF would employ this kind of individual and it seemed to speak of a business with high ethical standards.After the test drive I was passed off to Mr. Kaya and the negotiation to settle on a prive for the 2009 Escape I test drove began.I said from the start I wanted a cash deal out the door price and would be expecting not the same discount as the very low ad car in the local paper but one comparable taking into account the difference in features. I said I know I would have to pay extra for the options the car I chose had over the ad car. During the discussion the price I would have to pay did increase and I acknowledged and agreed the increases were reasonable and fair.Eventually we arrived at what I thought was very close to the contract or striking price although nothing was on paper yet. Mr Kaya said he would need a deposit and I agreed to provide it based on the expectation that the $23,800 figure or something very close was what I would see on the bill of sale. I was not prepared for what came next.When I got to the finance office , I find the contract I am handed is not the cash deal I have been discussing on the showroom floor for what seemed like hours, but a loan application packed with GAP insurance and extended warranty plans.The net amount to be financed was listed at the bottom as $27,859.94. I'm stunned and immediately say that I can't sign this contract.After all the time and effort spent in getting to this point in the process and thinking we had a verbal agreement on price and a downpayment to show good faith, I have this overwhelming sense of having been dupped. I am now under a great deal of stress dealing with this sudden turn of events and the apparent rejection of my original offer to pay cash, $23,800 out the door for the Escape.I should have walked and dealt with the recovery of my down payment later. Instead I allowed these two individuals persuade me that I would still get the discounted price I had negotiated for but in a different form. And I was now being made to feel like I was an obstacle standing in the way of making the deal possible. I thought the financial manager is supposed to help a buyer with a loan option if they need and request one.I not only did not need or want one but never mentioned this option at any time prior to seeing the contract. Suddenly Mr. Kaya and Beyikian make taking out a loan which included GAP and Warranty insurance a condition of sale, not an offer to aide in making the purchase more affordable for me.I tried to make sense of what was on the contract and what I'm been told. To my questions and reaction, "I can't sign this", Mr. Kaya insists I get my discounts by signing this contract.The GAP and warranty plans he says are optional and can be cancelled after making a couple of loan payments.It will only cost about $50 after I cancel. The dealer gets a refund in the process and that's how I get the discount.I don't understand how this translates to a benefit for me and repeat my inability to make sense of what I being told and what I see on sale contract.I asked who is carrying the loan. It is not Ford says the Finance guy Mr. Beyikian.When I ask who is carrying the loan he says he doesn't know. Mr. Beyikian offered no helpful explanation for including all the extras in the contract other than as a way to get the discounts.Unable to compute how all the various parts of this contract would net out to what I thought Mr. Kaya and I had agreed to out on the showroom floor and still somewhat incredulous that intentional foul play was involved, I said I would trust that what he was telling me and that the delayed loan payoff and cancellation of GAP/warranty plans would yield the discounts I expected.(BAD,BAD decision on my part to trust either of these two guys).It wasn't until I returned home that evening and reviewed the contract again did I realize my mistake in signing the contract.The dealership might very well get money back from the loan I took out and the front end payments I made prior to paying off the balance but it was not going to reduce the amount I was paying for the vehicle and it would not net me the discounted out the door price I was promised. Clear and simple I was lied to.All the FORD dealerships I had contacted that weekend were competing and offering as a minimum in ads published in all the local papers at least $2500 in rebates and in some cases more. I tried to contact Mr. Beyikian the following morning to get further clarification of what I really signed on for in getting involved with financing, gap insurance and extended warranty plans. I was told by the receptionist he was not in. I did talk to Mr. Ryan Smith who did pull up the deal on his computer and helped me understand what the effect of the some provisions of the contract had on the net price of the vehicle. He confirmed what I had suspected. After I made the loan payoff and cancelled the additional plans added to the contract, the adjustment to the net cost to me would not result in the discounts Mr. Kaya and Mr. Beyikian said I would get. Apparently the contract as designed by Mr. Beyikian was never intended to help me get affordability or in some convoluted way result in a discount, because I never requested or wanted anything other than a cash out the door deal in the first place. What it apparently did serve to do was add complexity to the whole deal and make it difficult to refute his claim that it would be helpful in the end.I could not easily track the explanations given and said so several times.I admitted I was getting very uncomfortable in the process but received no help in doing the math to arrive at the expected result. Only the repeated generalization that if I signed the contract I would get the discount.After I realized what had been foisted on me, I decided to payoff the Chase Auto Financial loan immediately since waiting as I had been told would in fact not benefit me. And I would still have to wait 8-12 weeks before I'm refunded the premiums I paid for the plans I never needed in the first place.After all these are in fact not discounts but my own money being returned to me as refunds.HBF is arbitrarily delaying these refunds in my opinion for their own benefit. I hope by sharing my experience, others might be better prepared to avoid the mistake of dealing with HBF.Sincerely,FJK

I a a 24 year old Disabled American Veteran. Apon the completion of my service to my country, I decide to purchase a used Ford F-250. I found Huntington Beach Ford. And met with Nick my salesman. After finding the truck and coming to an agreement on price and monthly payment, I was passed to Rich for financing. I was to get dealer financing until I could refinance with my credit union. After signing my papers I realized there was no way my payment would be what I was promised after I refinanced.I called them on this. Frank then told me this is how they run there business, I should have done the numbers myself and to GO F*** Off. He actually said that to me. When my wife called they called her a B***h and hung up. They don't return calls and are covienetly always with a customer. I will be going back to the dealer ship Monday the 19th of July to set things strait in person. I did get them to aknowedge their mistake but they keep passing me to the next person, hoping I will just go away. I hope they realize Marines don't just go away once they have been wronged. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COST. THIS DEALERSHIP IS RUNNING A SCAM FROM THE TOP DOWN. NOTHING BUT CRIMINALS.

BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THESE SNEAKY BASTARDS!!!! I was in there yesterday. We negotiated for two hours until I got what I wanted. But then when I was tired and eager to leave, the finance guy tried to sneak past me a price $6,000 over what I had negotiated and a trade in of $1,000 less than I had negotiated. When I called him on it he tried to me that I didnt qualify for this and that discount. These discounts had not even been discussed in negotiations!!!! He then tried to sell me with, 'Oh well this price isnt that bad because your payments will only be so much per month.' To hell with that I was outta there. If you do attempt to buy a vehicle there, BE VERY VERY CAREFUL OF WHAT YOU SIGN. THEY WILL TRY TO BURN YOU!!!!

I had a 2003 ford focus that i wanted to trade in and i was looking at the edge preferrably new. The first guy i talked to was tall and had an accent like he was from russia or somewhere, he had no knowledge on the car what so ever!!! Normally you can tell someone this is what i want and they can point that exact car out to you with him he was reading the stickers well hell i could have done that. We couldnt find the edge i was looking for but that is not his fault, but he failed to mentioned they had recieved a trade in the night before that matched the description of everything i was looking for, i only found this out because he took me in to talk to paul he said he was the finance guy but he was really another salesman and this guy was just trying to pass the buck to someone. I am 22 years old and buying my first car and i was serious shopper if they could make the right deal i was ready to buy and drive off that day, i dont think they realized that. So after 2 hours in the dealership they come back and say the car price cant be lower AT ALL! and it would be 459 a month 250 over what i told them, he should not have wasted all my time and just said look you cant afford this car, he did say what about a used explorer HECK NO! So i wasted my sunday and the guy didnt even try getting the payments down at all he went back one time came back with the key to my current car and said sorry cant help you! Last night i decided i still needed a new car but i need to maybe look into a smaller car i found an 08 fusion FULLY LOADED gps, sync, seat warmers etc. at VILLA FORD for 17700.00 i was so happy and my experiance there was awesome DO NOT GO TO HB FORD THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER HARD! ESP. IF YOU ARE A YOUNG FEMALE! You cant judge a book by its cover if they had been willing to work with me the slightest bit then maybe i would get them a 3 instead of a 2 hahahah

Once again I purchased another 2009 Fusion SE from HB and ALMOST perfect , Rich was a creep who ALMOST ruined it.Anyway once my niece came back her dad, my brother, who is in Iraq asked me to help her get a car. She had several in mind including the Fusion, we check ads drove to several dealers and she liked the Fusion. My brother is a major in the army with over 20 years and has a FICO similar to mine of over 800 so all the dealers were fine. Anyway my niece really liked the Fusion especially with the options. We went to HB Ford , tested it and told them we would call. Once again I dealt with Todd. After video conferencing with her parents they agreed and I told them the sticker was about $23,400 but I could probably get it for below $17,000 drive off, about the same discount as my daughter's. They said if I could do it go get it.The weekend before President's day I called Todd and said what could he do for us that weekend or should we wait for the next weekend's sale. He said come down, give him 30 minutes to give it his best shot and he will do his best.We got there and he had the car she wanted waiting. We went inside and Ryan was there. Todd told him the situation, he said Ford had just finished with their incentives. I told him that when my niece had tried out a car there he gave us a drive off price in the low $16,000 and this current car was only $200 above that MSRP. He said again no new incentives from Ford were posted until President's day but since we were a returning customer he woould deal. 10 minutes later he again came back with a sheet and wrote $16,092.32 drive off with a caveat that it was not the exact drive off but it would me no more than $16,100 maybe even less. The final price would come out once they punch in the numbers. As it was raining steadily their computers were acting up but he held fast that it would not go above $16,100. My niece conferenced called her parents and they approved. Then they started the paperwork. After 45 minutes they came back saying their computers were acting up and we might not get the paperwork out. but they would draw up papers authorizing us to have the car pending sale as the registration could not be transferred until the computers were up (this was a risk on their part). So my niece put $6000 down and the balance was assumed to be under $10,100. We hand wrote a full disclosure sheet to verify the price and got the number to call Monday to schedule the final signing and we drove off in the new Fusion.Now Ryan and Todd were both off Monday. At noon I called saying we would be there at 4 PM after my niece gets out. Rich (who turned out to be a creep) said the computers were up in the morning ,were again finicky as their IT were trying to stabilize it but he had our paperwork ready.I asked if the balance was $10,000 and change and he said yes it was $10,895(the slime ball)! I said what?! He said just come down. Now Todd our salesman had given us his personal cell number and told us to call if any problems. I called and said he didn't know where the 800 came from but not to sign for anything that he and Ryan did not discuss with us. We got there and waited. Rich came out of a meeting and ushered us in to his office. He tried to rush us to sign, he said that the price was correct and that the sales manager who okayed the price the previous night had approved this (what a liar). I refused to sign he went into his spiel like come on this is a $24,000 car which you regetting for about $14,500, etc, what a deal, etc. I told him I knew I was getting a good price but that was not what was negotiated. Finally I grabbed the full disclosure sheet. I immediately spied the discrepancy, there was a $867 "Express Service" charge. I asked him what that was. He said that was a special protective coating they put on ALL their cars to protect them from corrosion. He said it was mandatory on all their cars because of the sea air. So I looked him in the eye and asked him flat out if ALL their cars had to have it. Without blinking he said yes they all had it. Then I looked at him and called him a liar. He was taken aback when I told him I had just bought a Fusion last month and that was not on the sheet and he could pull out the contract to check. Before he could react I called him a liar again and a bait and switch artist. I then asked my niece for her copy of the car keys, put it on his desk and told him he could take the car back ( after we had it for over 24 hours), I would get my book out of the car, give him the other key and take a cab down to Ken Grody or call them to pick me up because they would give me a good price and put a stop payment on the down payment check from last night (Sunday). Before he could react I got up with my niece went to the parking lot got my book out of the car and returned to the lobby with the key in my hand. He looked pretty stunned. He was called to an office and he asked me to give him a few minutes he would take care of i

Dealership most people were rude there. Christian our sales Rep. he was nice but limited, the dealership would not work with us on ANYTHING! The only good part was doing the finance paperwork, that was simplest. I buy a new car every year and by far this was the worst experience for my husband and I. I would NOT recommend this dealership to anyone. We orginally drove home 60 miles then went back when WE called them back and they still did not have our deal done and had to wait longer. Asked if they would fill our previously owned truck up, they said NOPE Ford will not comp. us on it, but we will make sure you have enough to get to a gas station.. It was 10pm when we left there!!!

I would like the public to know about the incredible corrupted Huntington Beach Ford which is located in Huntington Beach, CA. I received an ad for a Ford Focus 09 in the Orange County Register on 03/13/09. I sat down with a gentlemen by the name of David and we verbally agreed upon a monthly payment of 286.00 for 36 months and the down payment would be 3,000. I then was directed to the finance department to sign paper. As i got to the last paper which had the payment plan on it, we noticed that the price was way off. The guy then told us that it was 286.00 a month for 60 months which would make it about 18,000 for a car which should only be 11,000 and the down payment was 2,500. We asked them why the deal was changed and he said that's how the department sent it down to them as. When we confronted David, he had no answer for us and we finally left the property. I believe Huntington Beach Ford is using this car in the paper for a bait and switch scheme. If you could please notify the public about this unlawful corporation, I would be thankful and hope that no other customer gets tricked into a similar deal. I have already filed a complaint with the BBB and will file a complaint with the DMV. Now I know why they are the only dealership to be profitably in Ford according to David, because they lie to their customers about what they are paying. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!

This was by far the best car buying experience EVER!!! Everyone was very nice and professional. They also took extra time to explain all of the paperwork to me in detail. I did not feel pressured at all, which is a relief because all the other Ford dealerships I went to in OC were extremelly high pressure and flat out rude!I really am enjoying my new Mustang, and will be telling ALL of my friends how GREAT these guys are!!!

I BOUGHT MY SONS CAR THERE, ALSO MY WIFE'S.IT WAS SUCH A FLAWLESS,EASY, STREAMLESS PROCESS. I ALWAYS DEAL WITH OMAR THE GM, HE TREATS ME LIKE GOLD!!!!! HE ASKED HIS SALES MANAGER, TIM TO PRINT OUT THE INVOICE AND BRING IT TO HIM. HE SOLD THE CAR $300.00 BELOW INVOICE WITH ALL THE INCENTIVES FROM FORD.(0 PERCENT FINANCING AND A 2000 REBATE!!!!)TIM PUT ALL THE NUMBERS IN THE COMPUTER AND GAVE THE PAPERWORK TO STEVE THE FINANCE MGR. HE GOT US OUT OF THERE VERY VERY QUICKLY.........I HAD TO SIGN MY NAME AROUND 25 TIMES. MY DAUGHTERS CAR WAS FULL OF GAS AND DETAILED PERFECTLY!!! I really find some of this hard to believe or maybe these are the worse case scenarios. Or perhaps staff turn over or the current economy has changed attitudes. Anyway I just bought a 2009 Fusion SE from them and convince my brother to get one. The Fusion is highly rated and the experience was extraordinary.Before buying I did my homework, went to edmunds.com and other sites, looked at ads, checked invoices, got pre-approved at my Credit Union for up to $30,000 at 4.49 if need be (the actual rate was 5.49 for top FICO scores BUT my CU has a birthday special, get a loan within 30 days from your birthday and they take 1% of the rate for the life of the loan). I even read reviews about dealers including these.Anyway the last weekend of 2008 with Employee pricing etc we saw HB Ford's ad for a 09 Fusion SE with MSRP of 20,490 with a net price of $10,990 after all rebates (college, finance, Employee Price, etc) and a large HB Ford discount. Looked too good to be true and chances are it wouldn't be there. The ad was Friday so we drove by Saturday afternoon. Sure enough our salesman, Todd told us it was sold Friday (surprise!) anyway he would be happy to take us around their stock and show us what was available and maybe work-out a deal. My wife found a 2009 SE with an MSRP of 21,490 on the lot. It had the Sun and Synch package. She and my daughter took it out for a long drive.Back at the office we got to numbers, My wife asked for the same exact discount as the ad. Todd said unfortunately he didn't think they were willing to lose money on 2 cars, he admitted that it was a loss leader to bring in customers (which we already knew) but he would bring us his finance manager Tom to negotiate. My wife found Tom a little brusque but he was efficient. I told him give it your best shot, that I was pre-approved and was serious about buyig a car for my daughter before the end of the year. I let him run my credit check, high FICO. He then asked what I wanted. I asked him to give me his best out the door price, after ALL applicable rebates and conditions and including all tax and license fees on that 09 Fusion with an MSRP of 21,400 and that he had one shot to write it down. This was all very polite and cordial.After 10-15 miuntes he came back. he had the work sheet and his business card, he wrote down the VIN, MSRP and O.T.D. on the back of his card and the price of $15,265 and change (that is a close approximate give or take a few dollars, this hapened last month). Todd was seeing other customers then after excusing himself. Because Tom's gung ho attitude made my wife a little uncomfortable (a cultural thing , she is Asian) I asked if I can think it over (really a great deal, just testing him). He said sure, I would have until Sunday afternoon. He gave me the card, we shook hands and left.We then drove down the street to my favorite Ford Dealer in the area, Ken Grody. Told the first salesman I saw I wanted an 09 Fusion SE. We looked at his lot, found the same exact car , model (package and MSRP) then I asked him to price it out the door. he ran my info and came back with a price over $17,000. I told him I could do better so he went down to just under $17,000 and he said he could go no further so we shook hand and I got up to leave. On the way out the floor sales manager said what could he do to keep and retain an old customer. I told him give me your best shot , no holds barred on that car because I had a written offer. This was outside the door on a very cold afternoon, So I told him I would wait in my car. After 10 minutes he came out to the parking lot and told me the very best he could do was $16,100+ (forgot exact amount) AND 5% financing over 5 years. I told him I couldn't give up the difference as it was significant. He was cordial and told me if my deal fell through he would still honor this through Sunday and keep them in mind. We shook hands.On the way home we got a call from Todd asking us why didn't we close. I said I wanted to think about it and my wife was a little uncomfortable in Tom's presence because she wasn't use to the process. He told us to call him back in the morning and he would see if he could make it up to us.The next morning after some overnight research I called Todd and Tom and told the we would be there in a few hours and we would go over the deal. Todd said he would have the car ready. I went to 3 other large dealers on the way there. All were very professional and polite. When we found the same model and they asked me what it would take for a deal to happen and I told them they were all very surprised but polite and told me frankly it was a great deal they couldn't at that time match and that I should jump on it, of course keep them in mind if it fell through.We got to HB Ford, the car was prepped, filled with gas and ready to go. I attempted to co-sign on a vehicle so my son could purchase a used vehicle to get to college. I am in the military and was deployed at the time so the deal was ALMOST completed by phone, fax and DHL. The finance guy, MAX told me that I would have to provide my credit card info and place a down payment so the vehicle could not be sold to someone else. I made it clear that I did not want my card charged and that I would wire money to my son for the final deal. Max then assured me that the $ was completely refundable and charged $1700 anyway. The contract was written and then sent to me via DHL. Once I received and reviewed the contract I could clearly see that they (Ford) were taking advantage of our situation. The sales agreement indicated a finance charge of 10.99%, a car payment of $247 for 60 months on a $9,900, 2003 used car. That was just plain crazy! I have an above average credit score and as a co-signer it should help. Of course I said no to the contract and attempted to get the $ credited back to my credit card. It has been 11 days and I STILL have not received my money back. I have been bounced around from salesmen to salesman and every time I call they tell me the person that can help me is not in. I started asking for individual last names so I could clearly document the transaction and each person refused to provide it. I am still deployed and unable to walk in there but in the meanwhile I have a $1700 dollar charge on my credit card and finance charges accruing. Next step, call the local police, the BBB, and the local news and send out all hands e-mail to advise other military members not to go to Huntington Beach Ford. I have purchased 4 new fords since 2001 and never had any issues until I went to this ford dealership.

This dealership's used vehicles are all Ford Buy Backs(Lemons) that were supposedly fixed. That is the only reason they have good prices. They will tell you that they are giving you an awsome deal that they cannot give you close to what kelly Blue book gives for trade-in value. My 2006 Toyota Tacoma with less than 30,000 miles and is fully loaded in mint condition was quoted by Kelly blue book and other Ford dealers as being worth $20,000+ where as this dealer offered me $14,000 and then proceded to curse at me when I walked out from the sour deal. This place is a real scam. They purchase these vehicles at an Auction from Ford for $10,000 or less and expect a fortune from them and then want to give absolutely nothing for your trade. If you would like this kind of Buy Back Vehicle, contact your local(Trusted) Ford Dealer and they can give you the same "Awsome Deal" on these buy backs and offer you at least kelly Blue Book trade in value for your Vehicle. I have never in my life been cursed at when trying to purchase an Item that is so hard to get rid of at the current time

And they will sell you this paint protectin for $1000.00 to $2000.00 and i know is just a wax job, cost u $50.00 to do it at a car detail place. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER.

RIP OFF'S, RIP OFF'S, RIP OFF'S...DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!We arrived at Huntington Beach Ford at approximately 10:30am on Friday, September 12, 2008 to purchase our first new vehicle. I told the salesperson, Kaya, I was looking for a 2008 Ford Ranger, manual transmission with A/C and that we wanted to spend around $10,000. He showed us a model on the back lot. He said he could give us the same deal as the ad but he would have to add $850.00 for the air conditioning and $500.00 for the active military discount. We agreed and we proceeded to the office to start the paperwork. Kaya promised us a purchase price of $9340.00, based on the above calculations, we initialed a worksheet written up by Kaya stating our agreed upon purchase amount, (less tax, licensing, and fees) payment amounts of $200-$300, and down payment of $1500. Kaya left, we assume to talk to his manager, and returned stating he could get us payments of $320.09. I stayed to complete the contract with Rich Beyiran in finance. Upon returning to our place of business after lunch around 3pm, we decided to go over our purchase agreement to find it significantly higher than originally agreed upon not only due to some optional goods but also the purchase price, which could only be determined through calculations. I was not made aware of the additions.Service Contract (K) 1995.00 GAP insurance (Q) 595.00 Teflon Coating (G) 1995.00 Total Add-ons 4585.00 Purchase Price Discrepancy-just added 1150.00 Difference in Tax 243.74Total Overcharge $5978.74At approx. 4:15pm, we returned to Huntington Beach Ford and asked to speak with Rich in finance. We asked about the options that were added and he asked, the salesmen didnt inform you of those? We replied that he had not. He handed us a pamphlet on the Teflon coating. We asked where the additional $1150 added on to the purchase price came from. He stated he is not responsible for entering any numbers in the computer and that it is Kayas responsibility and he just prints what is inputted and has no control over the numbers. We asked to see the paper we had signed earlier with the deal amounts on it and that has apparently mysteriously disappeared. Rich said that we could have the (K) service contract ($1995) and the (Q) GAP insurance ($595) removed but the (G) Surface protection (Teflon $1995) could not be removed from the contract. He told us to have these removed we were to write down that we wanted it removed and he would forward it to the cancellation dept. (see attached signed by myself and Rich)We then were directed to speak with Tony who is Kayas manager, regarding getting the Teflon charge removed as well as the addition to the purchase price. Upon speaking with Tony we were informed that if he were to change the contract it would be fraud and that we were to understand he had no previous knowledge of this purchase and he was unable to do anything about it. He called for Kaya to come to the office and when Kaya entered he asked if he informed us of these charges and he replied that he probably had failed to mention the Teflon coating but said, Its the finance departments job to go over those with you. Tony then left the office and returned telling us that Rich had stated that he explained all of this to me this morning. My wife left to get Rich because he had just told us earlier that it was the salesmens job to explain these to you. Rich joined the conversation with Tony, my wife, and myself and in fact stated that he went over these add ons with me this morning. That is incorrect, he had not gone over anything with me, and he simply flipped page-to-page saying sign here, sign here all while we were having a conversation about each others children. Frustrated and feeling that we were being taken advantage of, we asked who we are able to speak to that is positioned above Tony. Tony replied, Omar, but he isnt in the office, you can make an appointment. Thinking there was a time frame in which the contract could be changed, we asked if Tony or Rich could write something up saying that we were in the office within hours after our purchase trying to correct the paperwork. They both stated there was no way they were signing anything but that Tony would be sure to tell Omar, the owner, that we were there. At this time we are sure that we have been manipulated and frankly didnt believe that he would tell Omar anything. Later to find out Tony and Kaya are not w

Yes you are right you better watch out for the extra they slap on your finance contract at the end and don't even say anything about the teflon coating on you paint. We had keys in hand and signing contract of an ad car no less which clearly states the price in the paper and they tried to add on a 100,000 mile warrenty and $2000 teflon coating they said they put on when the car was washed. But was no where on an extra sticker to car or anything just appeared on the sales price at the end. These people need to be closed down they are rude and sly.

BBB should look in to their business practice. I saw a newspaper ad and called the dealership and asked questions about the car and the price. They never mentioned the $2000 paint protections untill I got their to buy the car and at the last minutes they said it all. What a waste of time and hassle. How do they sleep at night. False advertising.....

I am not sure exactly where to begin about the unethical dealings going on at Huntington Beach Ford. We purchased a used 2002 Mercury Mountaineer on Jun 5th, during the finance part of the dealings we asked for our payments to be around $300 per month, we settled on $350 per month, the finance person tried to sell us an extended warranty for $50 per month, we declined, he then magically told us he would give us the warranty for free, so we signed up. Max, the finance guy then quite rudely insisted we THANK him for the "free" warranty. We drove the vehicle home that evening, discovering loud rattles from the transmission and when we took time to read over all the paperwork we had we noticed our car payment was actually $304 per month and a $46 per month charge for the Free warranty. I drove to the dealership the next day and spoke with the finance guy who then threw a tantrum and I really do mean a tantrum!!! His response to my questions was to tell me he would remove the warranty, increase our interest rate to 24% keeping the $350 payment the same without warranty and thats that!!! I picked up my paperwork and left and spoke with the desk manager. He assured me they would take care of the problems with the vehicle, several visits later they now want me to authorize a $1000 teardown and inspection of the transmission, I will only have to pay I believe a $100 deductible, is this normal for a dealership?? Sell a broken used car, sell a warranty and bill both the customer and Warranty Company for repairs on the said broken vehicle. I have been unable to speak with the GM of the dealership..he is very elusive Mister Omar. I am very angry at paying and financing a vehicle - a Ford CERTIFIED used vehicle- that has a known tranny prob. It was there the night we drove it home. THEY promised to fix it and now a month later here we sit with no vehicle and no RESPONSE from the dealership!DONT EVER PURCHASE A VEHICLE HERE! The only pleasant part was Eddie the sales guy. Everything else has been a nightmare. Is this what FORD calls customer service? When I bought my civic HONDA fixed every tiny thing for free- in hopes of return business. I guess this dealership just wants to make one quick sale and thats that. To hell with customer service. VERY disheartening!

Alex, was great, unfortunately, Ryan Smith the Sales Manager lost the sale for him because he insulted us while trying to "close" the deal. I wont get into details, but it was bad enough that I wrote a letter to the Ford Motor company. Omar "Z" is the General Manager/Owner, no he's not a rap star, but that's what he goes by. I haven't talked to him as he never returned my 10 phone calls during that week, but I learned of a first hand account where he personally threatened someone who he owed money to and never paid the man. They give a bad name to Ford and I would stay away as far as I can and if this is representative of the Ford name, I'd stay away from their cars too.

Well guys, they got me too. The 'ol "Teflon coating protection" at the tune of $1,600+ They snuck it in on me. Call them about it, and the manager(s) hung up; very, very hostile. Wow.I'm 41 years old, and I've never experienced outright fraud like I've experienced with Huntington Beach Ford. For other victims, please contact me and lets see if we can get a class action lawsuit going. I'm planning a wide-spread letter campaign, and I'll be picketing the lot soon.For those who have haven't fallen victim to them yet, be warned.

This is the second time the dealer broke our agreed price. I was trying to buy the Fusion for $11,999 again during Memorial Day sale and the dealer agreed to match Villa Ford's ad. In the end, it was $2,000 higher because of the teflon paint scam. I walked out giving them a FU sign on the face.

I have never seen such an unethical dealership ever. I was buying a Ford F150 pickup truck. I had agreed upon a price with the sales manager and the price was written down. In the finance department, while starting to pay -- I noticed that the price was $1500 higher. They told me that all of their vehicles had to have a teflon paint coating.I walked. I went to another dealer and bought the truck for the same price -- without the Teflon paint.These guys should be in jail -- Never patronize them.

Do not buy any vehicle from them. They will waste your time and hook you up with an agreed price, which they will illegally change later in the end. I was mistreated and the sales manager broke our agreement and changed the price for no damn reason. This year president's day sale, one dealer close by from them was advertising a new 2008 Fusion S automatic for $11,989. So I brought the ad in, went to find the car equivalent to the ad, showed the ad, and finally the salesman got sales manager approval, and they both said "deal" for $11,989. Then I did a test drive and then started the paperworks. Then we negotiated the trade-off payment and monthly payment for an hour, but I did not like their high, uncompetitive rates. Then the head sales manager got angry and said to the salesman, "don't waste anymore time with this idiot (me). He's been here too long." Then I told them I decide to purchase the full price, hoping they will be happy. Unfortunately, the head salesman sent me a paper with the price of $13,250. I was like, "what the heck, I thought we agreed on $11,989." Then the head salesman said, "This is the price we will sell, will you buy it?". I said, "No, I thought we agreed on $11,989 earlier." Then he said rudely, "Fine, then get out of here." He immediately tore the paper right in front of my face without making any sincere apology, threw it into the garbage, and did not look at me since. I wasted three hours only to find out that the head sales manager changed our agreed price just because I had been here for two hours. They are completely insane if two hours to do a transaction is too long for them, especially if I am a newbie doing all these complicated paperwork. They treated me like crap. I will forward my complaint to Ford headquarters, lawyers, and into other reviews.
