1st impressions mean everything and purchasing a car can be a headache. Well let me just say that my 1st impression doing business with Ideal Auto Sales left me in awe and headache free! Everything stated to me was fulfilled and all of my questions and concerns were answered and taken care of immediately. Bob was absolutely wonderful and made sure everything was up to my standards. He even gave me pointers on were to go to purchase certain things I was interested in for the car. You won't feel the pressure of rushing to buy a car like at the BIG dealerships. I recently purchased a Ford Explorer from Dan at Ideal. Solid guy and good experience. He didn't try to "sell" me. Smoother and more relaxed than working with a large dealership group. I was able to take the vehicle to my mechanic to have it gone over which was huge. I was gone about 90 minutes and there were no questions asked when I got back. A problem was found with the thermostat housing and there was a missing lug nut from one of the wheels. Dan fixed both right away without hesitation. The Explorer had new tires, new brake rotors and pads, differential fluids changed, and a few other things done before it went on the lot. I researched and looked at vehicles for about 6 weeks before this one hit the market. It was a significant savings over what the large dealership groups had to offer. That allowed me to tweak a few things, add floor mats, get a couple spare keys with chips made, and still be way ahead. Check them out.

I bought a car here earlier this year and I had a great experience. I found the car I was looking for, within my price range, with no hassles here. As a single gal, car buying can be stressful. Dan was helpful, and straightforward. He didn't try to talk me into a more expensive car like most salespeople try to. They fixed everything necessary with no hassle. Test drove the car, did not like brakes. Also, needed hood struts. They put on 4 new rotors with ceramic pads, new hood struts, and sway bar links. Bought car, after a week noticed slight exhaust leak. Contacted them and they had a new flex pipe welded on. No hassles, no cost. Car has new tires, great carfax, ready for son's college. Very satisfied.

I bought my car end of March 2014...first car I actually got to pick and pay for with no help from my parents...boy what a mistake..late July it started running rough I had taken it for oil changes and all that stuff like I was supposed to the mechanic tells me it's something wrong with the catalytic converter I call the sales guy and he tells me it's sold 'as is' which is understandable but shouldn't I get at least a year before there are major issues like this? He tells me he will contact the boss to see if their mechanic can fix it and I pay him I never get a call back then 2 months after that the power steering pump went out...Ok now I'm getting irritated....then 2 days before Christmas it completely goes out now I have no car at all and a nice hefty car note thanks fellas you have made this the worst car buying experience ever!!!! Never again will I go to a random used car dealership!!!!

I am an elderly women who never owned a used car and I was not sure what to expect. I know nothing about cars and went to a few other places before Ideal. I was actually asked at another dealer, who will be helping me make a decision. The salesman at Ideal was very helpful and respectful. He helped me purchase a car and replaced a head light two months later. I sent my granddaughter to shop for her car and she also is very satisfied.

As a young woman looking for her first car, the whole process was very intimidating for me. After searching endless big auto dealers, my father suggested looking at Ideal Auto Sales. It was the best decision ever! I found 3 cars that were not only in my budget but very reliable and well kept. The car I decided on is amazing! Dan let us take it to our own mechanic for a checkup and the few problems they found Dan fixed the next day. He never made me feel pressured in any way. After a depressing day searching the big dealerships for a decent car, my husband and I tried Ideal. I can't begin to express what a great experience we had. Dan listened to what we wanted and found the perfect fit for us. He saw that the car needed wipers---after we bought the car!-- and put new ones on for us. He did everything he could to ensure a positive outcome. I will definitely come back to Ideal when we are in the market again. Thanks Dan!

I am a single mom and I purchased a car back in February of this year and I've already put in $45 on fixing a hose for the windshield that he said he'd fix before I bought it. Also now my car don't start now and now I don't know where to take it for someone to fix it and as a single mom no extra money for all these repairs. I won't tell anyone about this place for a vehicle. So disappointed!!! Now I'm afraid for my teenage daughter to take it anywhere as I'm afraid for her to get stranded somewhere. No one is honest anymore today so sad.

First time buying from a dealer that wasn't a new car dealer affiliated with a major brand. Dan is not a hard-sell type of sales person, let me roam the lot, answered questions, was very honest with me regarding any issues when I looked at trucks. Ended up geting a truck from them, and he wrote in the sales agreement a fix around the exhaust manifold w/o asking - he proactively did it since he knew it was an issue (not one that would "break" the car, but one that could affect mileage). Normally buy new, but wanted a 3rd family vehicle, and by a stroke of luck ended up with them. I'd do business with Dan again and would refer him and this place to others based on my experience thus far.

Bought a car 18 months ago. I didn't care for it but my wife loved it and now sold it to a daughter who also loves it. I think they do a good job of selling a quality used car at an affordable price. Good used cars that are affordable and with lower miles are difficult to find, but Ideal Motors seems to do a good job at finding them, and then being able to assure they are up to par with their own shop and mechanic. Now that I am in the market for another used car or truck, Ideal is where I will once again look, and in fact was there this morning.

Cars look nice. Took a test drive, came back with a couple of problems and told them, one problem response was "I know," another problem response made me feel stupid like I don't know what I am talking about. Try to negotiate prices and forget it.

Bought a vehicle and in less than one year spent over $1500 on repairs (tires, oil leak, broken part, shocks/struts, tuneup...) Is it better to spend a little more at a "real" dealer and be assured everything was checked and/or replaced ahead of time, or spend less at a small sales lot and then have to pay after you own it?

My fiancee and I recently looked all over for a new SUV for our family. Ideal had many cars that were well priced and in the condition that was well represented on the internet. We found other SUV's for less money, however none matched the quality and price that we found at Ideal. When we bought our SUV the manager Dan said if we had any problems that they would make it right. I had heard these lines before at other retailers. However when the brakes started squeaking I made a phone call to Dan and they replaced all the brakes in my SUV for free the next day. They did make things right, and for that i am thankful that someone finally did what they said.

Shopping for a good used car can be quite an experience, many times, not a good one. We just completed our second used car purchase from Dan at Ideal. We came back this time because we were treated well the first time. Ideal has a good selection of used cars and they are priced reasonably. They are up front about their cars and provide a Carfax as well. I also have confidence that if a problem does come up after the sale, Dan will do what he can to make it right. Thanks again Dan.

I spoke with Dan twice over the phone about a Jeep Cherokee. I asked specific questions about the body (rust, paint, over all condition) and was only told about a small spot of rust by the top edge of the windshield which is common and also common drive train corrosion. I informed him that I was a cash buyer driving five and a half hours with the intent on purchasing the Jeep if it were as advertised. I called around closing time on a Friday evening to inquire if they still had the Jeep and after finding that they did, I asked him to hold it until I could arrive around 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning. I arrived at 10:30 a.m. Saturday as I specified only to be extremely disappointed with the condition of the Jeep. It had hail damage along both sides of the Jeep, and the entire front end had been poorly repainted. There was some light impact damage to the front bumper and the top of the header panel. The bottom of the door seams had started to rust and a poor black cover-up job had been done. The body on both sides from front to back on the fender flares and below was covered with scratches and spots of touched up rust. I am fed up with asking all the right specific questions and being allowed to drive long distances only to find a false representation. Let this be a warning to any and all who are contemplating spending any time to visit this dealership. I found them to be lacking in the quality of vehicle they advertise and lacking in integrity.
