Scheduled a 10am appointment, car was in the work bay by 10:05. Mark Gibbs, Service Advisor, was excellent. Checked status of vehicle for recalls and other possible issues. Was very pleased with the attention he gave me and the car. Will refer others to this toyota repair facility and suggest they ask for Mark. Customer service was exceptional

I had an appointment for regular service on my 2014 Camry SE. I was greeted promptly and in a very friendly manner by Steve at the Service Dept.. A regular service ended up with a need to replace some malfunctioning parts. Steve and Ricky at Service kept me informed as to the progress of the repair, and contacted me when all the work was completed. Happily the warrantee covered all repairs. I was more than satisfied with the service and repair work at the dealership as well as with the personnel.

After we bought the 1st Camry she stated engaged and helped if we needed it. Bought our 2nd car from her because of how well she took care of us.Service department is the best. Had problems with this dealer showing cars in the past (salespeople never came over to help after 20 minutes), but when we pulled up Melissa was standing outside to help us with anything we needed. We thought she was a customer waiting for a salesperson, but she was super nice and showed us the Highlander and Rav4. Unfortunately neither was good for us but she was very nice about it. Had either been good for us, we would have tried to make a deal on the spot with her. If Interstate had more people like Melissa their reputation would surely improve. I believe most of the very positive reviews of Interstate were written by employees.

Jessica Robles in car rental is great. She gives you a great price, whether you are renting the car for days or weeks. Ricky in parts & service and the entire staff are fast and efficient and always helpful, even if ur just getting your car serviced for an oil change. Just got my truck back from it's 10,000 mile checkup. The work was done in a short amount of time. Everything that they said they would do, was done. They even filled my windshield washer and got a great cup of coffee while I waited. Only gripe; Could you have bagels or danish next time. I didn't have breakfast yet.

It was a close call for both sides having to give. But we did it. Two things, one they were so glad to get me out of there no one took the time to explain any of the features the Tacoma has. I left with no explanation of any of the features on this truck. Admittedly I was also glad to get out of there.Secondly, because it was raining hard they allowed me to change trucks in their service bay. Nice, but as I pulled out and turned right toward the street an employee was backing another car out of a slot with out looking my way. He backed out right in front of me. If not for my girlfriend yelling we would have had an accident in the 1st 15 feet. It was so close I think the paint blistered.But so far I think I made a good choice. Love the truck and I hope to keep loving it.

i shopped at many dealers when buying my Tundra. im from Long Island and went to Interstate because a friend recommended them. i was happy i did. i went there just to see what they have. i felt comfortable with the sales staff right away. they where extremely helpful and knowledgeable. i wound up buying the 1794 that night. the staff made everyhting so easy. no tricks, or games. the owner even came out to greet me and offered to help with anything needed. its was nice to not have the "haggler" feeling. I already recommended Interstate to my friends and look forward to doing future business them.

Got a call on Thursday to see if I was interested in renewing my lease with a new car even though I had 6 months left on my present lease. I can't believe you could walk into a dealership and drive away with a new car, on a Sunday yet! I drove to Interstate to show my wife and son a car I was interested in buying. A salesman came out and greeted us and let us take the car for a test drive. He showed me things about the car that I wasn't even aware of and what salesman at other dealerships didn't bother to tell me. His knowledge about the car was impressive. No high pressure, just a nice conversation about what my needs were. When we told him that we would like to buy the car, he said that we would be able to drive the new car home that day, which I thought was a miracle. I got a decent amount for my trade-in and they took care of all the paperwork to transfer the plates and insurance, and even got a great financing deal. On a Sunday! I love my new car and I'm sure it will give me years of worry-free operation, just like my wife's Toyota.

Was very impressed with the Toyota dealership, We had gone to Rockland toyota first and was referred to the owner by a friend, owner never came out, and they gave us a salesperson who only started two weeks ago. Interstate Toyota we were able to meet the owner and they were right there on the middle of the sales floor which I thought was a nice touch. I will be recommending all my friends and family if they are in need of a car and are looking at Toyota as one of their choices.

I have a 2001 Rav4 that currently has about 227,000 miles on it. One of the reasons it has probably lasted this long is the great service that it receives at Interstate. I went in to change my tires over from winter to summer and Ricky noticed that my radiator was leaking. He didn't want me to leave with the car because if it actually overheated it would be a way worse situation. He got me a rental and told me that the radiator would be there in a few days. Unfortunately, it was back ordered and would not be there for several days. Interstate called me to tell me this and to keep the car until mine was ready. They even switched my rental car when I told them I did not like the minivan and would rather drive a smaller car. Ricky called me a few days later and I picked up my Rav. I have always received great service and Ricky is both knowledgeable and personable. I would recommend this dealership.

I am very disgusted with this dealership. I have spent a lot money. I having been putting into my 2009 corolla and then your mechanic backed it out of the bay and slammed into another car. I had to pay the bill for that car repairs then got ripped off buying another car. I didn't have time to think before they had me buying another car. I only had a choice of red or black and thrown into another huge car payment. They said they were doing me a favor just a major screw job. I don't want that mechanic to ever touch my car again.He lied and said I had no brakes then changed his story and said his foot hit the gas instead of the brake. He was in a hurry because it was the last hour before they went home. I talked to the mechanics I work with and they said he should be fired and there was no reason for that if it was fixed right. I have lost faith with this dealership. I don't trusted your dealership,too many things I saw that went down. Its been a week but still very upset with this dealership. Your guys should learn to respect the cars so your customers don't have to pay for their mistakes. He should pay for the repairs he messed up the car . It was in good shape when I left it there. Let's face it he could of hit and killed someone because he was in a hurry.

I made the appointment with Paul. I was surprised at how accommodating he was, despite the fact that I waited until the night before to make it. When I arrived I was helped immediately and all my concerns were addressed. My car was ready promptly, sooner than expected. The process was simple and the team at Toyota of Monsey is friendly, knowledgable, and efficient. It's the only place I purchase my vehicles due to the overall experience.

Went to dealer on two separate occasions to buy a new 2014 Sienna XLE. Both times when the receptionist finally got back to her desk she told us there would be a wait. We said we already had driven the Sienna and just wanted to make a deal. We said we'd wait 15 minutes, then leave. Within 15 minutes a manager (?) came over and was very nice but said they were understaffed (both times!!) and they would help us when they could. We waited, then left and made a deal over the border in Ramsey NJ.I read about Interstate's bad repair service but thought we could still buy a new car from them and have it serviced when needed elsewhere.They do not even care enough to help the customer quickly when the customer comes in and is ready to make a deal. Go elsewhere!

I have nothing but great things to say about the salesman I dealt with, he was helpful, efficient and did not try to pressure me or sell me something I did not want. Unfortunately the financial department was not only unorganized, but screwed up my entire loan and after a month of dealing with them when the financial manager was "supposedly" fixing it, I have gotten nothing but the run around and nothing has been solved. My first payment which was directly given to the financial manager (of the Airmont Interstate location) was never submitted and a week later my payment is considered late in the finance department. After signing two sets of contracts(after the first initial incorrect one where the financial manager tried to deceive me) my payments have still not been fixed and no one in the dealership ever gives me a straight answer nor do they call me back. Sadly I will NEVER buy a Toyota again and will recommend that anyone I know never set foot in this dealership. This is the 6th car I have purchased for myself from a dealership as new, my son has had 2 new cars, my daughter 3 and my husband 5 (all financed as new cars) and there was never one issue with the purchase or financial department of any of those vehicles. Interstate Toyota seems to be the only place I have had to file a complaint about and this is after I have spent over a month chasing them and playing phone tag over a mistake that they made.

after being deceived by the financial manager who misinformed me about the price of an extended warranty, I called there about an hour later when I noticed. I was told he would call me back but when he did not I called there again because I knew the dealership would be closing soon. He told me that in order to change it I would have to come down and sign new paperwork and that they would be closing in a few minutes and were closed on Sunday. I told him I would be in Tuesday to sign new forms, which I did. After that form was not submitted to the proper place I filed a complaint with Toyota customer service. The dealership told me they would handle it and after several more complaints I went down and filled out another set of forms. The financial manager told me if I gave him my check for my first payment he would overnight it and get it taken care of. One week later my loan has not been fixed and my payment is now late because my check was apparently never mailed. I will never buy or recommend a Toyota to anyone I know after the experience with Interstate Toyota of Airmont, NY. The only reason I did not check "very bad" was because the sales person I dealt with was very helpful and I do not have a bad word to say about him.

Having issues with navigator. Called made an appointment to get it updated. Brought the car in, was first told the man who was trained was in school, than it would take 2 hours to do the update. Brought the car in to get the work done, after an hour I was told they could not find the software update. Believe it or not service here has actually improved.

I was welcomed by Melissa (Who was very good). After I put my offer on the table for a used car Mr. Alex who is supposedly the final decision maker started yelling about my offer. If it was low e could have plainly said it is low and he cant do it. Instead he choose to yell at me and started saying that I offend him by giving that offer. I showed him a better car priced lower than his car, this is when he started saying that I will buy that car from the other dealership and sell it expensive. Good Job Interstate Toyota ! You guys are the worst dealership ever. I would not recommend anyone to buy from these guys. STAY AWAY.... OVER PRICED and CRAP SERVICE

Not a happy camper! This was the first dealer I visited when it came time to buy/lease a new Camry. Main reason being the convenience of the location.A salesman (whose name I forget unfortunately) approached us and offered a test drive. We did the drive and came back to negotiate (or so I thought). I had with me multiple ads and information from Kelly BB/Edmunds, etc. on the pricing. The salesman wanted no part of that. He gave me a price, I could take it or leave it. He did not even attempt any negotiations whatsoever. After I questioned him on why he was so stonewalled, he became visibly upset and said we can leave if we don't like the price. So we did! We ended up at Prestige Toyota in Ramsey, where they were happy to negotiate

this dealer is the worst I've ever visit! came to get price for new lease not only did I get a 50$ more then what a dealer 12Mil away offered me for same car , the account manager started shouting "I don't believe you" shaming me out of there (for the record I have 1: email with the original cheaper price 2: I have a Toyota same class that I got for $60 cheaper.) plain out JERK to customers (10/11/2013 4PM) honestly if you need a test drive and this is local go for it. DO NOT get you Toyota HERE they will rip in to your pocket and give higher price then any other Toyota dealer in the state

Great improvement over last visit. I was greeted by a women who check me in. I needed the upgrade to 2.2.0 for my navigator. Took 45 minutes to understand the problem and find the thumb drive. Service writer had no idea about the upgrade, Had to show him the service notice on my iPhone.

Overall 10 out of 10. The place itself was nice, comfortable and clean. The sales people especially our sales person was what we like to see a person who knows his stuff and is not pushy. We have been to other dealerships and one was a Toyota dealership and walked away because of the sales persons attitude. Interstate Toyota was such a good experience and we will go back for a second vehicle!

I called 3 other Toyota service centers prior to calling Interstate. None of the 3 centers could take me and my 2000 4 Runner that day. Interstate was able to get me an appointment within 20 minutes of my call. Irealize it could be have a true scheduling problem for the other dealerships, but, Interstate's honesty about the condition of my vehicle was admirable. They could have service my truck for a 120K check up and tires, but Lou told me to hold off. He noticed right away that I take care of my 4Runner and did not want me to spend extra money at that time. I will definitely take all of my vehicles to Lou 'the Met's fan" and Interstate from now on. Dave

We went ti Interstate Toyota for the first time over 4 years ago, they were very helpful, and supportive. We did not have credit history then, and they were the only ones to took the time to find us finance. This time we were ready to replace our honda civic. We are planning to start our farm, and decided to get a pick up. The first that came to mind was Toyota. We decided to go and explore. John Mahecha was there ready to provide us with the information needed for us to make the best decision, based on our needs, and our budget. After that we tried other makes, and other dealers, just to compare. It was an easy decision, due to the professionalism and easy approach that Mr, Mahecha presented. We went back to Interstate, and by that evening we were driving out our new Tacoma. It was a great and overall smooth and efficient experience. I had good discussions about what I was looking for in my next car, my financial situation and timing for getting a new lease. It was easy to discuss this and have the car, my payment and timing of getting my new car all happen as I needed. The pickup of car went smooth and the car was beautiful, full of gas and I got the usual walkthrough of the car features, ect. All paperwork was ready and discussed with me. I was happy that it was straight to the point vs. taking forever to go through the contracts as I have leased four times from Toyota to date. General customer service and friendliness of the staff in the dealership while I was there was beyond my expectations.

I would not recommend this dealership for service to anyone for the following reason. I brought my car in today for an oil change, ny state inspection and a recall notice. Made an appointment for 11:30. Arrived on time. Was told on the phone when I made my appointment that it would take no longer than an hour and a half which I thought was very long but I said it was fine. Arrived at 11:30. At 1:30 I looked outside and my car was sitting outside but my service provider had not come to find me since I was waiting and he knew it. At 1:45 I went to find him and he is on his cell phone texting or playing a game. I asked about my car and he looked at his desk and low and behold my paperwork is sitting there. Why did I have to go find him? To top it off the dealer didn't have the parts to fix the recall and I need to return in 2-3 weeks for the work to be done. What is going on at this dealership? This is why I never go to the dealer for basic maintenance. The only reason I went today was because of the recall. I cannot wait until someone contacts me and asks for my experience there. Overall experience = 0 stars. They should be ashamed of themselves to call themselves service providers. They should go to Honda for service training. The service manager should be fired for this lack of service at this dealership.

Fast forward 24 hours to where we get a call saying they actually can't give us that deal, and can we come back and sign paperwork that will raise our interest rate to 2.9% and increase our monthly payments by 15%. I expected so much more out of Toyota and am frankly disgusted at their complete ineptitude. I have never heard of a dealership back-tracking on a contract let alone calling a customer back to the dealership in an attempt to charge them more. We gave them back the car and want nothing more to do with Interstate Toyota. I know car dealerships can be shady but this one takes the cake. We'll be taking this up with the larger Toyota corporation...

When I confronted them about it, they were so extremely rude, I couldn't believe it!!!! I am a returning customer and thought they were super nice the first time I shopped (that's why I drove an hr out of my way to buy from them again). I was SHOCKED in the way they treated me regarding my issue. I will NEVER buy a car there EVER again!!!!! So I went to the dealer to buy a used 2010 toyota corolla and we agreed on a price of $15,000 however apparently that was before taxes which would've been fine if he would've listed all the taxes dealership fees and coverages and told me the final amount and the paper signing process was extremely rushed he told me that he had another customer waiting and that he has to get me out of there as soon as possbile he did not even give me a chance to review all the paperwork so now I'm stuck with 20,000 dollars to pay on the car which is going to take me a many years to pay off they threw on a bunch of coverages which cost a couple of 1000 dollars which I never asked for and they never told me about basically they are a bunch of dishonest thives I would never recommend this dealership to anyone

We were really impressed with the lifetime warranty on the power train, something not offered at many dealerships. We also dealt with a salesman named Rolf who was respectful and nice; he didn't try to give us a hard sell or pressure us into buying a vehicle. We did a lot of research and went to different dealerships. The Interstate salesman said he wanted to win our business and would consider offers from other dealerships. In the end, he beat all other offers. If you go to Intestate, we recommend asking for Rolf.

Only negative was on pickup, thought more explanation was needed about how the navigation and bluetooth work.

I have nothing to say other than taking your toyota to the dealer for service is expensive, as with all dealership service shops. I understand the service shop has to charge for time and materials, but when you're itemized bill specifies changing a $4 dome light bulb will cost $30 to do. That's a bit ludicrous. Of course I didn't pay that after pointing it out. Nonetheless, paying beyond customary costs for service is a bit over the top. Unfortunately, this toyota dealership is no different from any other dealership.

The purchase of my new Rav4 went extremely well and the sales staff was very nice. The repairs my car needed to get it up to 100% however took too long and I had to argue to get what I was promised. In the end I am 100% satisfied. I just feel I shouldn't have had to argue to get what I was promised upon purchase.

Everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional, especially my sales consultant - Lisa Romano, Sales Manager - Hastrit Celaj and the owner/GM - Jim McMachan. There was never even a hint of "high pressure sales". We arrived at a price that was fair to everyone. Financing was a breeze, thanks to Hastrit. Registration and transfer of plates were also take care of by the dealership, eliminating the need to go to DMV.

I made a 6 pm appointment and upon arrival the employee, Ricky Boulette informed me it would be an hour wait to complete service on my car. Mr. Boulette reccomended I get my tires rotated for $24.00 and I agreed. While I was in the waiting area, Mr. Boulette approached me again and reccomended I get other services like air filter. I do not know much about cars so I responded I will return with my father and Mr. Boluette did not offer me anymore services. I believe it was a sales tactic to get me to purchase other services not necessarily required for my car. My car was NOT ready within an hour as Mr. Boulette promised. Even with an appointment, I waited over an hour to get my car serviced and I only completed an oil change and got my tires rotated.

When I first arrive I meet the lovely Fay with her warm friendly smile, she takes a few important details and then led me to Sherri Bates, another friendly and very knowledgable person, who explained what to expect from my visit. Sherri had to order a switch for my car seat for the lumbar support. Also after the mechanic checked my vehicle he noticed a crack in the steering crank or something. Sherri explained all this to me and we made an appoint for the next day. Upon my arrival the next afternoon, Sherri took my car directly to the waiting mechanic. Then I had a great ride home with Philip, he too is a pleasure. Later that day Sherri called to advise my car was ready and my husband drove me over. My car was ready and waiting. My only problem is that my lumbar doesn't feel like it's completely back and that the switch doesn't seem to work all the time. I explained this to Sherri and she advised I may need a new motor. I really don't want to pay for another item for this seat, I just want the lumbar support all the way back, I don't even use it. But right now the way it is, I get a lower back pain, never had this before in the 6 years I've owned the vehicle. It's only since the lumbar support went haywire. So,my overall experience was terrific, I just want the lumbar to stop hurting my back.

I bought a car in December 2010 and and it needed rear suspension work. when I went to service they actually attempted to charge me $ 240.00 dollars just for looking at the problem ( this a week after i got the car) When I refused they became very rude and obnoxious. and to this day march 24 2011 this has not been resolved.

I was very impressed with the friendliness and professionalism with the salespeople in Interstate Toyota. They showed me around the enitre dealsherip, I saw the service center and the waiting area which was very nice/modern. I liked the TV and little computer stations they had so I could surf the internet while I waited there. If you are looking for a car, I suggest you go to Interstate Toyota in Monsey and see Tony Salluhi. I went there and leased a new 2011 Camry XLE and I was extremely happy, . . . not just with the car, but the ease of how Tony handled the whole transaction with me. All my questions were addressed, he made me feel as if I was at my own home, he even brought me a cappuccino while I waited for my car to be prepped, I never had this type of treatment anywhere else!! I didn't know Interstate Toyota gave all their guests the red carpet treatment, Bottom line, they got my hook, line and sinker, I'm a fan and I don't see my self using another toyota dealership except Interstate Toyota in Monsey!!!

Unbelievably bad experience. I went to the dealership with the Consumer Reports 'build a car' report. The report had a price that Interstate would charge for a Sienna, with the roof rail cross bars as an option. I agreed to buy for that price. When I brought the car home, I realized that the crossbars were not there. The salesman, John, was understanding and did work to resolve the problem, but upper management was certainly far from understanding and cooperative. Would certainly not go back here for Service, and have no confidence that their supposed 'lifetime power train warrantee' would not somehow be voided. Additionally, make sure you ask about all costs associated with the purchase of a vehicle. After looking over the paperwork, we found a $379 administrative charge. Considering we paid cash, it's hard to imagine what this is for, other than additional profit. It indicates that this is negotiable, however, it is totally glossed over while signing papers as you are picking up the car, so unless you 'catch' it, and then threaten to walk away from the deal, you are stuck with this hidden cost.

Also known as "Paul Miller Toyota", this dealership engages in deceptive pricing practices. WATCH OUT for ads that appear to be a good deal. When I began to negotiate with them on a used car, I was told the ad was incorrect and the asking price was actually $1,000 more than they had advertised on Autotrader and Cars.com, and $1,500 more than on eBay. The dealership offered to sell me the car at the "mistakenly advertised" online price, then engaged in pressure tactics by stating I had to put money down right away before "another interested buyer" took the car for the higher price. No thanks. I didn't care for the salesperson's tactic of "going to the manager" for each and every question having to do with price, either. If you're looking for a used car, pass this one by.....definitely not worth the trouble.
