i went into the dealership on Black Friday and was treated very well. Everyone in the dealership went out of their way to make me feel welcome from the girl at the reception desk all the way to the GM and the owner. It was raining that day so they pulled the cars that I wanted to test drive into the service bays so I wouldn't get wet. Rob Hartman, my Sales person was wonderful and took a lot of time with me to make sure that I understood the features of the car I purchased. It was a great experience for me and I couldn't be happier with the car that I purchased.

i was looking for a used car last october 21 with the help of my brother in law's friend JIM NANCE from jack schmitt chevy O'fallon.he gave me this 2006 KIA with a very low mileage of 48k in a reasonable price.the car still in a good shape and it runs great to me.the service was a great experience he showed me every details to know before i purchased it and the transaction was fast with his assistance.thanks for your help JIM.i recommend this guy to all my friends and family.its always good when u know somebody!

In September 2015, I purchased a 2015 Chevy Cruze with the assistance of salesman Jim Nance. We have purchased two cars from Bill Benjamin and will most likely buy all of our cars from him in the future. He is very honest and was very informative about the cars we purchased. He goes the extra mile for his customers. We have referred many of our friends and relatives to him as well. It is very stressful to make a big purchase such as a car but he makes it easy. I was dreading purchasing a new car. I've been procrastinating since May because of how stressful my last several car purchases have been (at other dealerships). I cannot believe how easy and stress free John, Mark and Mike made this process for me. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. John Weilmuenster made making a deal on the price of the car very easy, Mark Walker streamlined the paperwork process in order to minimize our wait time and Mike Fietsam efficiently managed the financing. Everything was clearly explained - no jargon or hidden charges. I am amazed at how easy this transaction was and I cannot wait to buy another car from them.

Great experience. I saw the truck I wanted at another dealership, but because my family has previous experience at Jack Schmitt I gave them a chance to find another one. They did and had it brought in for me. When it came time for the sale, John and Mark came in on their days off to handle the sale. When it came to work out the deal and handle the delivery of the truck, a group of people stayed after close to get everything taken care of. I had several questions and they were very nice and very patient, even though I was keeping them late. I intend to keep this truck for a long time, but when it comes time to replace it, I'll definitely be stopping at Jack Schmitt.

Service is terrible! I took my 2010 Chevy Traverse in for the recalls and told them the cold air would only stay on for 20 minutes and then go hot. Plus, the car seemed to be making a thumping noise when I turned the wheel at a slow speed. They called and told me that it would $750 to fix the air and $200 to replace a front bar. I called my local mechanic (I grew up in a small town an hour away) and asked for a quote, they quoted me $400-450 for the air and $156 for the bar. So, I told Jack Schmidt I just wanted my car back. They told me that it was ripped apart and I wouldn't be able to pick it up until tomorrow, but that they would give me a loaner if I did the repairs with them, and they agreed to reduce the price to $675. I agreed and then they called me the next afternoon and stated that my car was ready, but the blower going from foot to air wasn't working - and if I wanted that fixed, it would be another $275!! Which happened to be the $950 they tried to charge me in the beginning. I was digusted, just picked the car up and called Chevy Corporate. Chevy Corporate created a case and said that my car would most likely be referred to another dealer to be fixed at no additional charge. However, GM just called me and told me that I had no proof Jack Schmidt did anything wrong (they wanted paperwork that Jack Schmidt did not give me) and so they were closing my case. I'm disgusted with my service at Jack Schmidt and that GM doesn't stand behind their dealers. I won't be purchasing another GM car!!

I saw a Saturn Sky advertised on CarGurus, located at Jack Scmitt. I e-mailed Jack Scmitt's link inquiring. I got no response. I drove to dealership next day, on a Sunday. Vehicle was not on lot...guess a salesman drove for the weekend. Car was still advertised a for sale after the weekend.

Came in with my sts for service repair was waiting for it when service advisor came out told me the part ordered was defective and they would have to order another one. Keep in mind this is a Friday. But never to fail Larry tells me they will give me a car to use. What more could I have asked for. I always deal with Larry but have had on occasion to deal with the other service guys and have always been treated fantastic never a bad experience here. Your service center is superior in customer satisfaction and it's always nice to see that special thank you card in the mail. Keep up the good work and I will always have a Cadillac and most certainly have it serviced at Jack Schmitt!

I saw a Porsche Boxster online I was interested in and emailed the dealer. A salesman replied almost immediately and talked me through the process of buying long distance. All in all, a very enjoyable experience.

What a great buying process. I found the least expensive Impala online and expected to be "switched" to different car once I got there. Instead, I was shown the exact car I came to see. My sakesman showed me all the features. I said yes to the car and had my financing set up already. To my amazement they beat my rate by a full 1%. They set up my OnStar and paired my phone for me. Plus it was certified which I didn't know was part of it.... All for the originally advertised price. Before I left the manager and owner came by to thank me for the business. I see why they have been there so long! Thanks again for a great car and a great no hassle buying experience. I'll be back to buy my next one.

I have gone to this dealership twice (once for myself and once to play devil's advocate for a friend) and on both occasions I've received the poorest customer service that I have ever experienced while shopping for a new car. I would highly recommend that you go to another Chevy dealership, because it doesn't seem like the sales staff know enough about their product to actually sell anything. In February I was in the market for a new car, and I was willing to drop about $37,000 on a new Camaro SS. I was looking to test drive one and see what kind of interior package I could get for my money. I was greeted by a sales associate name Tim, and taken out to the lot. Tim immediately showed me 5 vehicles and talked about all the features that are standard in every car instead of paying attention to the features that I wanted. He also couldn't tell the difference between and RS and an SS. Many of the Carmaros he pointed out had V6's in them. He wasn't willing to budge on price or offer any special amenities. In fact he wasn't really taking me seriously at all. I ended up spending $35K on a fully loaded Subaru WRX STi. Yesterday, May 17th, I took a friend to this dealership because he too was interested in a Camaro, only he wanted a V6. Before we checked this dealership, we stopped at the Ford shop next door. My buddy test drove a new Ford Focus ST (really fun car) and a new V6 Mustang. He really liked the Mustang, but deep down felt that the Camaro was better, so we went back to Jack Schmitt. You'd never guess who greeted us at the door again. Tim, the worst car salesman of all time wanted to take a crack at us. He didn't recognize me, or at least he didn't let on, and he begin to try and talk up the Camaro again. In the three months since I had last seen this clown, he still new nothing about the product he was peddling, and was just as "matter of fact" as before. He wouldn't even budge on price or make a decent offer when we told him how cheap we could get Chevy's primary pony car competition for. He just handed my friend a card and strolled back under his rock. Today, May 18th, my buddy pulled into my driveway in a 2014 Mustang. I would highly advise that management at Jack Schmitt Chevrolet talk to Tim and there other sales associates about the power of customer service. I can't speak for every customer, but I do know for a fact that Tim has caused this dealership to lose out on at least $57,000 in sales between Feb 2013 and May 2013. I also advise future customers to steer clear of this place until they get their people sorted out.
