I'm a senior citizen on SS. My 2004 Chevy Malibu has had a lot of repairs on it and have been treated very well. Rich has always been very fair and understanding of my finances and tries very hard to make the best choices for repairs at the lowest cost. I recently purchased my 2nd vehicle from Rich White and I couldn't more be grateful for such as honest and pleasant experience. It was just easy. I shopped around at other dealerships and felt like I had to take a bath after dealing with the car salesmen. I finally, came back to Rich and he got me the lowest percentage rate and worked on the price for me, without me even having to ask. After the purchase, I noticed the vehicle pulled to the right. Over 30 days had passed and with no warranty he said, bring it in, no charge, and no questions were asked. Rich White and co. possess and old fashion, honest and easy way of doing business. Next time I'll save the gas money and just come directly here. THANKS RICH!

We had been shopping for a 7 passager vehicle could not find one in our price range until we look on Jim Whites we found a 2004 Dodge Durango with low mileage and at a great price. We went to our bank to try to get a loan and finally after a few weeks of us and Richard White working with them we finally got into this vehicle. Richard called us back everytime we called him and he did everything he could to help us get into this vehicle. We will go back there for our next vehicle and will tell all of our friends and family about them for there next vehicle. We are very happy.

The manager, Rich, initially stayed past closing hours to meet me knowing I was driving quite a distance to test drive the truck. He also allowed me to take the Avalanche to my mechanic for the day to have the truck thoroughly inspected. No pressure, great customer service. Thank you for such a painless car buying experience! Wrangling three kids while working full time does not leave me much spare time and I loved how relaxed the whole process was with you guys. Rich White was great to work with. He handled everything he could by phone and email to minimize the stress for me and kept me in the loop every step of the way. I fell in love with a car that needed a little work and he was up front about everything it needed before I could pick it up and made sure every little thing on it was fixed. They drove it to my mechanic for me so I could have a private inspection too. They even fixed a small tear in the leather of drivers seat just because it really bothered me. I picked up a beautiful car in perfect condition, top that off with friendly customer service and taking care to make things easy for me around work and kids, I would absolutely recommend Jim White's and working with Rich White to friends.

Staff are friendly and willing to help. Vehicle had a few concerns/issues that presented after 1st few days from purchase. Most issues were corrected quickly. Others need follow up visits for repairs. I feel some of these concerns/repairs should have been discovered during "dealer prep" prior to my picking up vehicle the first time. Remaining concerns are being adressed by Rich. Pete the mechanic was very nice and willing to help and even explain ("teach " me) a few tips on how to make minor adjustments to headlights, etc.

I called this dealer because of all the good reviews they got. I saw a car I liked but the price was out of my range. I live 100 miles away so I didn't want to drive to see it if I couldn't afford it. I asked if the price was negotiable and Ken came back with a lower price and I said OK, I'll go see it. He said I had to come fast because the car was slated for auction at the end of the week. I drove out and took it for a ride and after observing some things wrong with the car (red stains on the carpet and oil around the manifold seal), I negotiated a few more hundred dollars lower price with Jim (the owner) and I agreed to buy the car. Ken was writing up the papers for me to sign and Richard came in the room and told me he would not honor the deal. He said that we had a deal on the phone for the higher price. I said, well that's before I saw the car (who buys a car without seeing it first)? I told Richard that his father (Jim) OK'd the new price. Richard then (rudely) said, well this is MY deal and we agreed on a price on the phone. He told me he could get more than that at auction, (which I know for a fact that he didn't even get anywhere near what I offered him, plus he had to pay the auction fees and transport of the car, not a very good business decision). I was also very put off by the lack of manners of the woman answering the phone. Every time I called and asked for Ken, I was bombarded with a barrage of questions, "Who is this? Where are you from? What's this about?", always in a snippy tone and never a "please" or a "thank you". I gave customer service two stars only because Ken and Jim were wonderful to deal with. Too bad Richard deprived Ken of his commission, I was ready to sign the papers. Personally, I will never buy a car from there and I will be telling all my friends about my experience too.

Well my adventure started wish Jim White's back in January when my current vehicle had decided to spit a spark plug out of the head. Since my job requires me to travel all the time I needed a new vehicle and I needed one right now. My parents pointed me towards Jim White's since they have had good dealings with them in the past. After browsing the online inventory I settled on the vehicle I wanted and went to the dealership, Richard White worked with me on my deal and made the sell as smooth as possible. Here is where my story gets interesting. I had owned the vehicle for approximately two weeks and was on a business trip to the Washington DC area when the vehicle began to give me problems. I called Rich and explained my situation, and he then told me to find a dealer and get a diagnosis and estimate for repairs. Well after the diagnosis it was found the the Power control module, two sensors in the motor and the starter were fried, bringing the repair costs to a little over 1300 dollars. After about a week of haggling between Rich, the dealer doing the work, and myself we got the vehicle fixed. during the process Rich agreed to pay for a percentage of the repairs and I would cover the rest since some of the parts were not covered by the used car warranty, since I was low on cash at the time Rich covered the whole cost and I was able to repay him for the amount I owed. My story doesn't end with that little problem, I was on my second trip out to the Cleveland area when the alternator in the vehicle went bad well since the vehicle was out of the used car warranty by this time I realized that I would have to pay for the part and the repair. Well I gave Rich a call and explained my situation and he agreed to have his mechanic put the alternator in if I paid for the part. All in all I may have gotten a vehicle that had problems and it was a major hassle in the beginning but throughout the whole process the management of Jim White's was helpful and did everything in their power to fix my problem and insure that the vehicle was taken care of. I would recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a vehicle, if you are in the market for a used vehicle from a company with great customer service, head on over to Jim White's.

I've just bought my second vehicle from Jim Whites and I noticed some paint damage in lower front that I did not notice before I bought the car, and Jim Whites had the front painted at no expense to me. I was very pleased with how smoothly my buying process went. My questions were answered and I was treated with great professionalism. Everyone I've met was very friendly and eager to help make your experience worthwhile. I've only had one problem so far and it had to do with a tire. One of them went flat and they got me in right away to get it fixed, however it went flat again two days later. The mechanic I showed it to told me that the sealing was done improperly and there was no way to salvage it. My suggestion would be to double check the sealing so that it doesn't happen again. Other than that I' m very happy with my service at Jim White's.

Travelling to Florida from Canada, if we had to break down, we fortunately chose to limp into the forecourt of Jim White's in Irving NY. The customer care was first clas, providing us with a quick diagnosis on the the problem area, an overnight rental car and recommendations and directions for local hotels. Advising us throughout on the symptoms of a very tricky computer failure, it turned out our full repair needed a part only available from, and fitted by, a Ford main dealer. Nonetheless Jim Whites assisted with all those arrangements and looked after us well throughout, giving us full explanations along the way. I was very greatful to Richard White and his team for their warm welcome and going "above and beyond" to support a family stranded in an unfamiliar area. I have no hesitation in recommending the services of Jim Whites, Irving, NY.
