I don't believe any car buying experience is good. Overall this wasn't too bad. Like all the price out the door is more than the quote. I found this true especially for leases. My wife really likes her new vehicle and I hope that remains true.

I started shopping for a Chevy Bolt. My first contact was with Kerry Chev about a 2020 Bolt that didn't meet my needs. We had several contacts. At the same time, I contacted a half dozen other local dealers once I decided to shop for a new 2022 Bolt. Some dealers decent to deal with, some not. Then I learned of a new 2021 Bolt at Kerry. We bought it. All the staff, Mike, Andy, and others were very helpful, respectful, non-pressured, honest, among the best experiences I've ever had with a car dealer.

Absolutely the WORST post car buying experience of my life. Thanks to their terrible customer service - from sales to their service department and even the General Manager, coupled with the inability of Chevrolet corporate to return a phone call as promised, I’LL NEVER OWN ANOTHER GM vehicle. We purchased a $76k 2021 Suburban in Dec of ‘20 and it didn’t make it 9,400 miles before the lifters collapsed. At first Kerry Chevrolet did not want to provide a loaner, then I didn’t get any follow up calls from service, so all updates I had to call and get. Then when I was told the parts were on back order I reached out to Chevrolet corporate about getting a buy-back. This proved fruitless as EVERY promised call was NEVER returned. It was just a stalling tactic for them to avoid standing behind their terribly built car. When I realized my efforts with Chevrolet corporate were going nowhere I reached out to Kerry Chevrolet. After being left hanging by 3 different people I finally spoke to the General Manager. As expected, these conversations went nowhere! Since we were on WEEK 5 of my vehicle being in their garage, I pleaded with the GM to put me in a SUV of equal or greater value, regardless of payment, but I guess he didn’t want the risk of having this overpriced junk on his lot. I’m to the point of wanting to sell my Trail Boss that has the 5.3 liter engine as the Suburban!! I have no trust in Chevrolet’s engineering or customer support. And as you can tell from their response, they are still not getting it! I have been promised a follow up call time and time again. Even when I asked for them to buy it back, crickets! I even said let me trade it in on something else! But NOTHING! The parts shortage has NOTHING to do with the way you handled the situation! Being told “let me look into some numbers and get back to you” then never following though is a terrible way to treat someone that owns $125k worth of your vehicles!!! And offering to cover a payment DOES NOT make up for my lack of trust and confidence in a $76k vehicle! Never again, Chevrolet!

From the time that I called and talked to them and e-mailed a few times, I was pleased the way they were so pleasant to talk to. Buying a new vehicle is a big step and they made it easy. each person had a different input on things and there is a lot of information but they did make it easier. I already knew what car I wanted when I went in and knew what the posted price was and how much my vehicle was worth in trade-in. It still took almost 7 hours of being at the dealership to make the purchase, which is a little excessive in my opinion.

Being older I was concerned about a lot of the new things on this car. Nate was so patience with going over things. I had a 2009 Elantra that I loved but I had bought it somewhere else. I did have it services some with Kerrys and was pleased with service. I liked Nate. He never made me feel rushed. I have never leased a car before and he did a good job going over that.

I only got 3/4 tank of gas , and I told them my brand new car I got had dirt on the interior door arm rest. The kid detailing the car really didn't care and just wanted to go home.which I understood it was a Saturday. But other than that every thing was ok.

I had negotiated the pricing for my genesis coupe with a local dealer in lexington, but they were not even close to what I would call a fair price on the vehicle. I called Kerry Hyundai the same day and they priced perfectly into what was to be expected and I was able to come and pick up the next day with the car already ready for me. Very easy interaction and very happy with the whole experience.

My sales rep, Nate and sales manager, Remmington were very thorough in providing me all that I needed to make my buying decision. Nate's ability to make me at ease with the experience was one of the best experiences I have had in working with a dealership and a sales rep. He met my needs and beyond in confirming Kerry Hyundai was the right dealership, and that the Elantra was the perfect car. This is saying a lot as I had been to 5 other dealerships of different makes and models and felt I would never be happy. Thanks Nate for turning that around! I'm sorry I can't remember his name but the man who negotiated the deal with me was the best. He really listened to my needs and made sure they were met. It was the first time I ever purchased a new vehicle on my own and I expected to be talked down to because I am a woman but that was not the case. I felt respected and treated completely fairly.

Troy was great he kept my payments actually what I wanted and showed me a great car with a great warranty also something I wanted. I asked about Bluetooth and he found the car I wanted with Bluetooth and it was only 600 more. I went to Toyota that morning and had a bad experience because I was looking for a 250 a month payment with no money down and no trade the sales person said I was looking for a unicorn so I left. Went to Kerry and saw Troy told him the same and said I wanted a good warranty so I had piece of mind and no worries if anything went wrong. He then said what about a brand new car. I never through I could get a new car for only 260 a month with a 5 year 60000 miles bumper to bumper warranty and also 10 years 100000 miles on major things. The accent was everything I was looking for and more I love the eco and that the back seats go down. The only thing I would like to see is a trunk button on the key pad it sucks to have bags in my hands and have to use the key to unlock the trunk. I had a great experience at Kerry with purchasing my first brand new car everyone was friendly and very helpful.

Our Salesman Tony, really worked tirelessly to ensure we had the right deal on the right car and dealing with him was a very open and honest experience. I have been in sales for most of my professional career and always watch carefully how sales agents work and at no point did I ever feel like I was being "sold" anything. These guys treated us like family, the way it should be. The car I purchased was for our daughter and our 3 grandsons, it had to be right and I feel good about the entire choice and process. Also, the Finance Mgr was extremely kind and courteous

When my girlfriend and I stopped in to look at the vehicle we bought the options we were told the vehicle had by our salesman apparently was not what it came with. We also were at Kerry for around 5 hours from the time we pulled up and left. We waited at least 3 hrs. just so we could sign the paper work. Then a week or so later we had to make multiple trips back to resign papers because they had us sign the wrong ones. It took till today to get our value guard put on and our floor mats we were promised, which our salesman Gary told us one week which turned into at least 3 just because we had to call multiple times to tell how unhappy we were then they were able to get us in and acted like they were doing us a huge favor. And to top it off our salesman told us the car had automatic hatch because it had the button on the key which he personally tried to get to work but said he would have to get the service department to order something, which was fine because this was one option we were looking for. But come to fined out we bought the car and the sales manager told me sorry Gary should have known about this and sorry we cant do anything about it. Really a salesman promises the customer something and once we sign the papers they tell us sorry about your luck. Is this even legal?

After haggling over trade values; etc., I was presented, by a "closer", with a which basically wanted my 2007 Explorer as a trade-in for nothing plus a $2,500 down payment. This basically meant I was paying the price marked on the windshield, plus paying upfront $2,500, plus giving my Explorer away for nothing. After seeing this, I walked off the lot several times, had to ask several times for keys back to my Explorer. Two or three salesmen later, we finally agreed on a deal. In my mind the deal presented by the sales and the deal presented by the "closer" were not the same. All this haggling was completely unnecessary, and the deal almost didn't happen.

I had a great experience with this dealership. Each team member I worked with- from sales to finance- were all great. They were very respectful, understanding, and friendly. I went in with the idea of getting a used vehicle. I left with a brand new car that I chose to lease. The process was smooth and the sales guy, Jon, was great. I explained my financial situation, how much I was looking to get for my trade, and he made it happen. I have to admit, I almost walked away based on the offer initially given to me for my trade but I stuck to my guns and didn't back down. They were able to give me exactly what I wanted for my trade and get me out of there in a brand new vehicle. My son and I are greatly appreciative of the team at Hyundai and I will most definitely be a repeat customer.

I've had issues with my brakes making loud noises for a longest time. I took my car in to the other local dealership because they were closest to where I live. I should have known not to go there again because of previous experiences. Sure enough. They gave me the runaround and said it was normal. It wasn't normal. They like to stereotype women as if we're clueless to our vehicles mechanics. Wrong! Taking my vehicle in to Kerry Chevrolet Service was my solution. I'll never go anywhere else. This wasn't the first time they handled issues with my car. Brian & the others in Service gave me peace of mind that it will be handled & resolved. It was.

I felt like I was being juggled with another customer. There were large gaps of time where the sales person was MIA. The finance officer got upset with me when I wanted to sleep on it for the night before making a decision on weather to buy. He also gave us the wrong payment info we found out later. The car I purchased had to be transported from a different dealership. It was not at the dealership when I went to get it. I had to wait for almost 3 hours.

They were very difficult to deal with, didn't want to give me anything on trade in and wouldn't budge on price. It took over 5 hours to buy a car from them. Finance dept was very shady and wouldn't explain themselves, and their math didn't add up most times. Sales staff was arrogant. Now, almost three years later, I'm still getting junk in the mail and phone calls from all the places they've sold my name, address and phone number to. I don't even have the Malibu I bought from them anymore. I would never do business with Kerry Chevrolet again.

Date: 2-27-16 Daughter and me went to purchase new Hyundai based on info you sent, $17985 & $18974. Car was exactly what we were looking for. Daughter was expecting more thru Cosco. We asked for out the door price, when he gave us figure it was over $22,000. I asked how price was determined and he said they had to add costs that had been deducted from $22,000 to arrive at price we received from you. $1,000 Military, $750 College and others discounts. I offered $20,000 and initialed paper to submit to his boss, he came back with a $21,000 and I told daughter we was leaving, he then said would we split the difference, $500. Normally I would have said yes, but do to all bad info we received, and price was still over other offers we had, we left. I guess prices was based on my age, 80, and my female daughter. Why wasn't added amounts on your data sheet? I think I'll go back to old ways of buying cars.

I wish I had the honesty from the sales team that I read about in reviews. My experience was far from honest. The car was said to have nothing wrong with it. Car had multiple issues and went to shop two days after buying it. Their response was my car my problem. Adding to this fact there was a deal made for specific items at the finalizing of the sale only to have that be a lie again. Little guy named Bill was so proud to be honest but yet was a very rude person. Jeb H (sales man) was also a dishonest party. I do not recommend this company or either of these arrogant employees. Bill actually yelled at me through the phone to show how macho he was. More arrogance. Street clear!

Best sales guy hands down is Sonny. Sonny was just perfect to work with and honest. He knew everything about that car and what it could do. He was patient, respectful and cautious of my time being spent at the dealership that day. I would by 20 cars from that guy!! He took time to show me things on the car and explain stuff great. Best customer service from a sales person I have ever received. Thank you Sonny. Now the finance guy Bill (I think that was his name) was the only person I had a problem with. He was very misleading and unprofessional when it came down to the rate and payment. I would never go through financing again through Hyundai because of this guy. I had a 890 credit score and put a sizable amount of money down on this car. This guy was trying to work me for a higher rate and then trying to tell me the only way I could get a lower rate was if I purchased the "additional warranty coverage" We had words and then he back paddled just before I was about to walk out on the whole deal. It was then he ended up giving me the lower rate without having to get the "extra warranty". I guess he realized I wasn't stupid. Best part about the finance guy he tells me he got fired from his last job in Florence doing the same line of work (financing) but proceeded to tell me he was let go because he couldn't keep his mouth shut...really? Made me wonder if he was let go for the same reason of what he was trying to do with me. Word of advice to others...walk in with your own financing, do let this guy or others take advantage of you.

However, I was told that if I had an existing loan, Kerry Chevrolet would pay it off. That was not the case and I feel I was not given the most accurate information regarding the price of my car. The process took 3 hours for no good reason. I was a motivated buyer ready to buy that day and was putting 10,000 down in cash and was requesting a reasonable price. the dealership did not seem to be overly busy. I sat for over 2 hours waiting on decisions from finance and management. After price was agreed upon twice a document was brought back with a higher price for about 500 dollars. The last 30 minutes was a whirlwind of information meant to wear down the buyer. In 2002, when i bought my last new hyundai elantra the process was pleasant and fast. This was harder than it needed to be.

Added over $5000. Worth of addons with out breaking down the price for me. I told them I did not want to finance more than 25K they ignored me and financed me for over 31K. I haven't had a vehicle in 5 years, so when my grandma passed she left me a trust fund to get myself a car. So I was calling another dealership setting to buy some suvs with tinted windows, and another promises made to me. By accident my friend came to Kerry (know mind you i had bought my first car from Kerry and it was a saturn but I tell you now that car lasted so many road trips, and going back and forth to college, which was 45 minutes away one way and it had just regular tune ups and minor probs that cost barely nothing, so anyways she wasn't going to leave this was the only place she was going to go. So I looked at all the suvs and i finally found a car that was just made for me, and not a suv but a car that would be big enough to travel. And the salesman helped me find that dream car and was patient with me. I would recommend coming her due to the also all the promises the other car lot promised me was either illegal or could not be done.

I put a lead in and within minutes Ms. Rice gave me a call back and had already emailed me information on the vehicle that I requested. I was shocked how quick the response was. We set up everything via email. She was accurate and straight forward, I came to pick up my car signed the paperwork and I drove away with my new car. Simple as that. The easiest buying process ever. I would recommand internet sales if you want to skip the middle man and get a good price for a new car.

Have brought in for service several times after purchase , service desk very friendly and helpful. The multi point inspection report given at each service appointment is all for show. Most items are just checked off without even being looked at depending on how busy they are. Over looked items maybe a few here and there. But after several years of taking my car in for service found out they were very unreliable. Example tires shown on report as like new then within months had to replace tires because they were not properly balanced. Had a slow leak in one tire and pressure was low when I took it in and when I picked it up it was checked as properly inflated, and it was still low. It was at night when they delivered my new car and the service dept. was closed so they said I could bring it back to be detailed when I had it serviced. When I had it done and picked the car up what they had done was run it through their car wash , not even bothering to clean the wheels or windows. One of my problems when I purchased the car was that their was a haze on the windows which I thought the detailing would have cleared up but seeing they didn't do the windows the problem remained. On the next visit I told them about the windows again so they wiped them down when they serviced the car and said it was probably from road salt, only problem was it hadn't snowed yet , or even cold enough to do so. Salesmen say what they need to make the sale , it all ends at that point. I had several more instances these are but just a few of issues I have had over several years.

My old Thunderbird finally bit the dust, and I needed to get a new one quick. Kerry put me in a very nice single-owner used car on the same day. I paid less than I had initially set out as my target price, and drove it right off the lot. The paperwork was rather extensive, but still only took about 30 minutes. All in all, a great experience. Watch out if you shop used, however. The used sales manager spits a bit when you get him talking really loud.

While receiving terrible service from another local dealer, I brought my vehicle to Kerry Chevrolet and dealt directly with Don Porter. He greeted me immediately and assured me that I was in good hands. As a man of his word, I was indeed in good hands. He corrected my problem that day and restored my confidence in Chevy service. He even took the time to hand wash my Camaro before I picked it up! It looks beautiful!Wow! Clean Camaro, no more noisy fan blower problem, & had all systems inspected .. We're good to go! I was unsuccessful in purchasing a new Hyundai Tucson...not because I couldn't afford it but because I could never get a straight answer about how much it would cost me to buy one. -Internet sales manager told me I wasn't eligible for two different incentive programs. Hyundai official website says otherwise.-Quote with dealer installed options was $1000 more than what is shown on the Hyundai website.-Requested a quote with no dealer installed options and received a quote via phone. Later that day, received a voicemail that the quote was inaccurate due to a website issue.-Took nearly a day to get an updated quote via email. This quote was $1326 more than the previous quote.-I finally contacted the sales manager. His attempt at saving the sale was $1394 more than the internet sales manager's original quote...and didn't include TTL. He also repeatedly told me that another salesperson was already working a deal on the vehicle he was quoting. Bottomline is that even though I could afford the vehicle, I couldn't buy it here.

This is Chevy dealership that sells Hyundais on the side. In fact, all my dealings were in the Chevy building, not the Hyundai building. They do not know the Hyundai product well, and they did not listen to my needs about what I needed in a car or my budget. They refused to respond to emails and even called me multiple times when I asked them to email me. The sales manager condescendingly asked me, "Well, where do you think you'll get a car for that price?" There was no interest in working with me on a price or a product but to get me to drive away in one of their cars. They apparently didn't get the message because a day after buying myself a Corolla at another dealership, my "Hyundai" salesman called me up to tell me that the car I wanted had just come in. Apparently the sales manager didn't tell him that we did not end our last talk on unfriendly terms. I wouldn't bother spending my time at this Hyundai dealer. If you want a Hyundai call up to Superior in Cincinnati.

I have purchased 2 vehicles from kerry chevrolet; a 2007 HHR and a 2011 Silverado. I have never been more pleased. The Silverado was almost out of my budget but they worked with me and got me into the same payment I had on my trade in, while including 6 yr bumper to bumper, 1 yr premium service and a tow package installed. I couldn't ask for anything more. I will be trading in my wifes HHR soon and I will DEFINETLY be dealing with kerry chevrolet again. I have also used the service Dept. 4 times in 2 months for my maintnence on my silverado and to fix a wheel bearing in my wifes HHR. I am always in and out of there quickly. Terrible experience, took forever to even get a price on a new vehicle but when I did they think the public is stupid. They wanted to work from their sticker on a leftover 2010 elantra. The experience was a joke. I would not recommend this dealership for new car sales. Even the sales manager wanted to just write a trade difference number on a piece of paper instead of showing the deal, made me feel like they were not very honest to deal with, not recommended!!!
