Larry was fantastic to work with, we knew exactly which car we wanted and he was on top of making it happen for us. We had our 2 kids with us and they offered them snacks and paper to color on to keep them entertained. The finance department was great too. Seemed very honest and genuine instead of just trying to oversell things we didn’t want. Would definitely go back!

This dealership is great. I came in with my dad to buy a car and I felt supported the entire time. I live a ways away but Larry, my sales person, was able to hold the car for me until I got there in the evening. Larry did an amazing job making sure I got exactly what I wanted. And the dealership itself is aesthetically pleasing to look at. Very clean and well kept. Everyone there is so attentive. We had like 3 people ask us if we wanted something to drink or snack on while we waited and they weren’t even working with us. If you’re looking for a Kia, definitely come to this dealership they make you feel welcome and appreciated.

An unexpected day off seemed like a great time to service my Kia Forte5 SX . Even though Richard explained they were short handed an appointment was made and the work was completed in a timely manor. All my experiences at Kia Owens Mills have been outstanding . All this makes the 35 mile trip - Well worth the trip !

I have been a customer of Koons Ford for many years and have been satisfied with the service I have received and always felt comfortable dealing with Koons and the congeniality of the employees and advisors. About a year ago, I bought a car from another dealer in the area and was very unhappy with the sales and service departments because they did not keep their word. Unfortunately, the car that I had purchased from that dealership was totaled in an accident and, I fortunately and happily, ended up back with Koons and am happy that I did.

I visited several dealership before purchasing my new 2017 Kia Sorento and only when I Visited Koons did I meet a Sales Specialist that Knew more about the car then I did. Gary answer all of my questions and was patient with me As I had a list of about 20 questions. He found the perfect Sorento for me. It was and easy process for me. I purchased a 2013 KIA Soul back in January 2014. On October 4,2016 my KIA Soul was totaled & my heart was broken!! I called KOONS KIA on 10/10 spoke w/Brian - Sales Manager & he advised that I should come in & they will work w/me. I went in on 10/11 & Kevin Roy was my Salesperson - I was SHOCKED when he said they could get me financed for a 2016 Soul...so we went on a test drive, I fell in love w/this Soul & on 10/12/16 Angel (Finance Mgr) & I finished the deal w/a lower payment than I was initially told!!! I will FOREVER be a KOONS KIA owner/customer!!

Trevor was rude and hung up on me today, while I was talking to him about my disappointment about how he could not honor a price he gave me the previous day. I would have came in that night but he told me I would get there pretty late and it would take a while to get paper work completed. So we discussed coming in the following day. I requested the GM,s phone number which he would not give to me. He also told me to stop talking several times as I speaking to him about the issue, which at no time did I curse at him. I have never been treated so rudely I'm my life. This is the worst experience ever and he lacks professionalism for a business to have him in a manager role.

I had a great experience at the dealership. The inventory is quite large, so you have plenty of variety. They have a nice customer lounge at the back where you can get coffee and snacks for free. My salesman and the manager provided excellent customer service. They helped me make a great decision and I love my new car!

Besides the excellent service, Im treated like a customer that comes in everyday...Meaning they know my name along with knowing my car. The service manager Lee always makes time to say hi not only to me but all the customers. For six years they have keep my Soul in great running condition that I was able to pass it onto my son and I just bought my new Optima from Koons and that too will be serviced by Koons. Took my car in Saturday for recall and had a check engine light on. The service was fast and less then a hour. This is my second time I received help from Richard and he never fails to help me understand and go over everything with me once again I left a happy consumer and happy that I purchased a car from here. Richard was very helpful when i purchased my used 2012 Kia soul it only had one set of keys i was really upset and wanted two sets Richard helped me get a second set of keys and reset my car so all my keys worked on my car. Also recently i thought that there was something wrong with my trunk and that it was not locking so when i went to get my car looked at Richard told me i have a smart key and the trunk unlocks itself when you get near the car i was very happy to know nothing was wrong with my car and he really cared to show me and tell me how the car worked i was very pleased he was very friendly and helpful he was very knowledge about my car. I would definitely recommend Richard to anybody.

Another pleasant buying experience at Koons Kia of Owings Mills. My overall experience was excellent! I received 5+ star customer service and had a 5+++ star experience working with my sales representative Mr. Jonathan Douglas. Not only was I provided with the lowest purchase price, but he remained patient with me even after the process was near completion and at the last minute I decided I wanted a different color vehicle. This was the second vehicle purchased from Mr Douglas in less that 3 years and no doubt they have earned a life long customer.Proud owner of a new 2014 Kia Optima.

To All !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you plan on buying a car from this dealership,plan on getting not getting a price that is fair. Went to the Dealership 2 get my son a car at Kia.Koons Kia in Owings Mills, Maryland this dealer puts on a great front. Just like most (if not all) car dealers this car dealer only cares about making a sale & a dollar. We were looking at several different cars ie: Mazda,Honda,Kia,Buick, & more. On June 26th Friday nite,went in to the Koons dealership in Owings Mills,Maryland to get price on a Kia 4 myself & my wife,not my son. AC the Sales Manger (who is not there any more,as of 9/12 when I went in) told me to go to the internet. AC said that I can get Koons WoW price ( What a crock that is) from the internet. Went home to look for the price on the internet for this car. I figuring that he did not care as to if I got a car from them or not otherwise he would he given me a price. After spending 15-30 minutes looking for this price, I said to myself that I am buying this car from them, that they are not getting this car from me. I stopped looking for the price & went back into the dealership the next day, on June 27th Saturday nite after work. Told AC the sales manger that the answer he got me yesterday was pretty Stupid and that I did not like that kind of a jerk me around answer. Well, AC was not very happy at tone that I was speaking to him with. Which I told him that I do not care if likes that or not. Told them (Sales Manger & Sales person) if they went to give us a price on the car call us & I left. I was not going to be wasting any more time in the Dealership. I got a call the following Monday ( July 1st) from the sales person ( who is also full of himself) with a price, no surprise here. I let things calm down a little for the up coming week & did not do any thing more. Me & my wife did finally find the price of the car on the internet. Let me tell everyone what really got me upset . This is whats make this Dealership a real piece of u no what !!!!!!!!!!!!! Went back in to buy the car for my son on Monday July 8th, after the 4TH of July holiday. AC told me that the dealership would honor their WOW price off the internet. The sales person & myself have agreed on a price of $26,650 & the WOW piece of garbage price was $24,431.00 . You do the math. This is a little over $2,200, not a big deal to some people however we could use this money. So when I told the sales person, Jonathan Douglas about the internet price he said that we already agreed on a price. Which I said no you did. So ,Jonathan went back to whoever with my screen print WOW price to show (I guess that was AC the sales manager) what I have given them. Jonathan comes back a few later with just 1 of the 3 pages from my screen print. So I said to Jonathan where are the rest of my pages. Which Jonathan replies with, let me go see. After a few minutes Jonathan comes back & says I don't know. I told my son who was sitting right next to me. You are paying for this car not me, but, if you want to get screwed on this deal go ahead. I would have got up & left at this point. To all. Just keep in mind if you get this car from this dealership, you are going to get screwed when you need to take it back for service, maybe not. !!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you want to take this chance. I sure do not want to. !!!!!!!!!!!!! Buy a different car !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go any where else Just not here !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do not buy a KIA !!!!!!!!!!!!!! do not buy a Kia !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What really went down here. Is that the dealership lost the $2,200 in kick back during the weekend & the sales person did not let us no this until we went in to buy the car on that Monday July 8th. I am glad that my kid got a car that he likes. I am sureeeeeeeeeeee that me & my wife will not be buying a KIA at ALL !!!!!

Coming from sales myself, and having had previous experience w other dealerships, I felt this dealership was FRIENDLY. Also committed to doing the best in what the client is asking for and needing and wanting. And also advising and steering you in the RIGHT direction. Even if it means compensating on there own end. Matt was very personable, and he knew the car I wanted like he had owned it for years. Wich shows how educated they are on there own product. Rachel the Finance Manager- was awesome w paper work, and doing the behind the scenes part. She was proffessional and always w a smile.Other dealerships, have been in the past.. "just about the sale" But this dealership works like family, and makes u feel like ur on there side every step of the way.

Called on a Thursday (July 2013 ) to trying to locate a specific Kia Sportage. I spoke with Johnathan Douglas, gave him the specifics of the vehicle I was looking for. He said he would get right back to me. 2013 lx fwd twilight blue with the convenience package option only.i explained the deal I had with Hertrich Kia,here in Easton ,md, but I really wanted the blue. Johnathan called me back,advised me he had that exact vehicle, and could match the price or do better. We arranged to be at the dealership Sat am between 10-12. We took the 80 mile drive to Owings Mills, and Johnathan called while e route to confirm we were coming. I asked if the vehicle was there,he said it was in a lot approx. 30 miles from them and it will be "no problem" . I did express my concern and asked if he could have it on the lot when we arrive. We said policy was to negotiate then pick up the car. I told him we were uncomfortable going so far with out the vehicle being on the property. Johnathan said," I never do this but I give you my word,we have your car and it it's all good,no problems." I called back to make sure it was an automatic transmission, he said," yes, I have your exact car,don't worry,my manager wants to talk with you but he's on the phone to just confirm there is no problem and to give you his word and not to worry"After arriving we haggled for the Sportage I came for. He kept trying to sell me a silver AWD sportage which I did not want. I told him I was not interested in the silver ,I specifically requested about the blue. Again he came back with a price on the Silver,which had more options and was out of my price range. Again, he tried after speaking to someone each time. Finally the sales manager came over and tried to sell us the silver Kia again. I said to him, I'm here for the Blue Sportage only. He then said," I can't get it, we don't have it, I just got off the phone with the dealer who has it and they won't release it "They knew I was coming the day before,but chose to call the dealer after I refused the Silver . We did go to the Kia dealer in Laurel,who had the blue Sportage, and was told by the Manager, that he never received any phone call from them, as he would know because he takes all requests.They were very deceitful , and dishonest .

Went to Kia of Owings Mills after visiting Westminster Kia and Jones Kia.....Kia of Owings Mills was a great experience, for both myself and my wife. Our salesman, JD, (John Douglas), was very knowledgeable of our Kia, and he was very nice and trustworthy as well. He made us at ease and was very easy to work with. I can't recall everyones names there but Jay and Salem were also great, as were everyone we came across at the dealership. If you want a Kia, you can't go wrong up at Kia of Owings Mills.

Customer Service was AMAZING I came to this dealer looking for a used reliable car that had great gas mileage. The customer service was excellent there was no haggling or pressure to purchase a vechile. I was able to take my time and look around my questions were answered, the prices were very reasonable, I purchased a 09 Nissan Altima that had great mileage. I went in for service and was helped by Bruce Silvers and the tech Charles Boecker. All of the staff were friendly and Bruce completely exceeded my expectations in customer service. Bothe he and Charles were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I have dealt with the sales team previously and they were also great, especially the manager Mike Yoon. I highly recommend this dealership and if you're in for service, Bruce is fantastic!

I went to Koons Kia of Owings Mills after enduring six hours at another Kia dealership only to leave after poor treatment. From the minute I walked into Koons Kia, the staff were friendly and accommodating. Jonathan D walked me through every step of the process and his team worked to provide me with a car that fit within my budget. Jonathan was extremely knowledgeable about the cars and dedicated to making sure his customers are comfortable and happy. Mike M and team were awesome with making sure the financing fit within my budget. They provided me with honest feedback throughout the process--an important step for a female who went in to purchase a car alone. Couldn't be happier with my car and the team at Koons Kia really redeemed the Kia brand for me after an awful experience prior to walking into their dealership. If you are in the market for a new car, you'd be stupid not to swing by this dealership and meet the team.

I did not feel any pressure when I walked into Koons Kia. The staff was very polite from the first meeting with them. It actually took me a few months to finally make the purchase, and they remembered me when I came back in. I would recommend Koons Kia and their fine vehicles to anybody who is looking for a car.

KOONS has great cars and service. It didn't take too long to find the car I wanted at a price I could live with. More importantly it didn't take all day like at some dealerships I've been too in the past. No complaints! I will recommend them to everyone.

I bought a new KIA Sportage on July 4th. Our local KIA dealership in Westminster was closed for the holiday so we decided to come down to Owings Mills.Johnathan Carr was our sales associate. He was so kind and friendly. Johnathan went way above and beyond to make it possible for me to drive my new vehicle home on the day we signed the papers.After the papers were signed and Johnathan had the car all ready to roll off the showroom floor (he had it so shiny) there was a problem discovered! Some problem with a fuse-are you kidding? I am all excited to get into my new car and drive it home! I was told that since it was a holiday the tech crew was not available to look at it-I would have to take another car home-then trade it later. So we head home without the car. As we get 15 mins. away I get a call on my cell. It is Johnathan calling-he discovered the problem and fixed it-he was bringing my car to me! In the end I did get to bring my new car home that night. It was already after closing time-plus it was a holiday-but Johnathan brought the car to us. This really meant a lot to me. He genuinely cared about us, something that you don't find very often. I would never have taken the time to write this review-I never do this, but Johnathan deserves to have this good review come his way! I appreciated his service to us and recommend him to others.

The dealership and the representative I usually work with Chris Stewart calls me, makes me comfortable when I am at the dealership, keeps me informed, and makes sure that my work is of good quality and i a timely manner. My wife and I came in today to look at a few cars for a possible future purchase. Most of the service was helpful, but it went downhill when we met the finance guy (Mike). I understand that we weren't looking to purchase a car today, but with a serious mind to purchase in the future (and in the future I mean within the month) I would expect the service to be interested in making a sale. Mike on the other hand came off like he could care less if we were buying a car or not. My wife and I will not be returning to this dealership which is unfortunate because we enjoyed the rest of our experience there.

Johnathan Carr was the reason that I purchased my car from this dealer. He had a very positive attitude and was very patient. The process was very long and there were some miscommunications with financing that caused headaches but in the end I walked out with my car. I have been very pleased with my car so far.

We chose to purchase a car out of New York State due to lack of available cars with colors and options we were looking for. Local dealers were selling cars very near sticker price with only factory rebates as discounts.I found a black 2012 Optima SX with premium technology and touring packages available from Koons in Owings Mills. The purchase was EASY, with dealer putting together all info and required paperwork to properly tag vehicle for ride home. Met with people from dealer who got us a great 5 year finance package and were on the road within about 2 hours of our arrival. I would highly recommend this dealer as the sales manager, salesman and finance people are fabulous! If you are planning to buy a car from ANY dealer take a moment to look at their inventory and take the stress out of the buying process with Koons!When we buy our next car, we will be sure to stop there first!

I went into this dealership with a long list of things that i wanted and terrible credit. Other dealerships had put me off and left me wondering if they would call. Tiffany and Johnathon were very attentive and excited to try and get me the car I wanted, even with my credit history. Tiffany always got back to me quickly and happily. Johnathon was knowledgable, funny, informative,and engaging. He is a true customer service specialist. I surfed online for cars first. I contacted three of them. Two responded right away. I visited both and Koons had the better deal of the two. My sales rep was easy to work with and personable. I never felt pushed to buy. The only negative was that the finance girl got a little huffy when I kept blowing off their service contract offers. She also didn't call back with an answer to a question I had. Bottom line, it was an overall good experience. I don't have to deal with the finance girl and will direct all my questions to my sales rep., Paula, should I have any in the future.

When I came into the showroom she gave me the time I needed to learn about the vehicle. At delivery, she thoroughly explained and demonstrated the features of the auto. I have a three time buyer of a Koons car. I looked at other dealerships but I always come back to Koons. They gave me a very far price for my trade in, more then any other dealership offered me. The customer service was off the charts. Jonathan was extremely helpful and would answer my questions before I could ask them. I traveled over 1 1/2 hours to get to this dealership and it was worth the drive.

She also explained clearly on the coverage of the car and made sure we are completely satisfied with it. I went to this dealership after seeing a vehicle that was advertised on their website. Upon arrival, I was greeted by two friendly gentlemen, one of which was Jonathan. Jonathan and I went out to the vehicle where he took plenty of time to answer any questions I had about the vehicle. After a test drive, we went inside to discuss price, financing, etc. From there, it was on to the finance department. Mike was very friendly and helpful. Overall, the process was a breeze. This is my second car and I had none of the hassles and frustrations that I had when buying my first car. Not feeling rushed or pushed into something I don't want is a big deal for me and they did great in that area. I would recommend this dealership to others looking to buy a vehicle.

I was really impressed with the entire purchasing experience with Terrill. The process was easier than I thought. I haven't bought a car for about 7 years, and my last purchase was from Carmax. Even though it was long ago, Terrill exceeded expectations compared to my Carmax experience. I skipped out on the dealership close to where I live for this one because of the ratings, and I was not disappointed. I would highly recommend buying from this dealership.

My sales associtae Johnanthan was wonderful he was very knowledgeable about the car and was able to answer all my questions. This was a low pressure dealership that took the time to understand my needs and wants. They even looked far and wide for the vehicle I was looking for and had it re-routed from another dealership from the factory, so I could look at it, test drive it and buy it. They are one of the best car dealerships I have dealt with thus far in my car buying experience.

Our first experience with Koons Kia in Owings Mills was for a test drive only. We were not only impressed with the car, but also the friendliness, courtesy, and professional competence of everyone we dealt with. After the test drive, we were contacted a few times by the Koons staff to see where we stood in our process, and when I explained that we "weren't quite there yet", there was absolutely no pressure. Once we decided that the Kia Optima was the car we wanted, we returned to Koons and were again impressed by the level of professionalism in all aspects of the transaction, from Darrin Bethea (our sales rep), to Rachel Barnes (the finance officer), and everyone in between. At no time did we feel anything less than full comfort in negotiating and talking to the staff at Koons. We were able negotiate a good price, including more for my trade-in than CarMax would have given us, and drove away tired but absolutely satisfied. Our kudos to all the staff at Koons Kia Owings Mills. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone interested in a fair deal on a new Kia.

After spending 90 minutes at Nationwide Kia in Timonium, MD listening to a laundry list of excuses on why they couldn't deliver on a new Kia Optima with the price that was quoted in no less than 14 emails between myself, the internet sales rep, and the sales manager, I left the dealership in a bad mood and headed to my 'back-up' plan that was Koons Kia in Owings Mills.The level of trust, service, and profissionalism between the two dealerships was night/day. I was given a price that was negotiated through email, never had any "back and forth" with the sales manger to haggle and actually never dealt with anyone except our sales rep (Paula) and ultimately the finance person who was also incredibly nice...From the time we walked in until the time the deliver was complete, including the trade-in of our existing car, everything, including financing was completed and we were on the road in right around 90 minutes. I commented to my wife that I should have trusted the dealership that explained everything and was honest over the 'chop shop' that is Nationwide Kia that quoted a price (many times; and confirmed the exact car many many times) and tried the play the classic shell-game when I arrived to close the deal~A HUGE Thank-You to the sales manager Wendy Aston and her team at Koons Kia/Volvo in Owings Mills for everything they did, including staying and working hard well after closing time to get us our new car... Jonathan Douglas approach my family and gave us his full attention. We are a young family looking to purchase a van; he did not pass us over -- as other dealerships had --due to age. I knew what we wanted and I told Jonathan I was looking for a good deal. He said "I can probably make you a great deal today", I was VERY skeptical; however, we walked away with a GREAT deal on the van (he was right and congratulated him on winning over a very cynical car buyer). I was armed with all the Edmund's, KBB's, and internet numbers ready for them to "sales" talk me into stuff I didn't want. IT DIDN'T HAPPEN. Between Jonathan being upfront and his sales manager working the financing magic, we walked away with (including rebates to be fair) far below invoice for the vehicle and an amazingly good number on the trade-in (knowing that trade-ins are where you normally get screwed).We are very happy and would definitely use Koon's again, specifically Jonathan.

I needed a new car because my old car started leaking water and it was a really rainy week; I had an inch of water in the bottom of my car. I researched cars online and found one that interested me, so I sent an e-mail inquiry. Koons at Owings Mills called me back in less than 5 minutes and were able to schedule a test drive that evening. When I arrived, I didn't have to wait at all to try the car. After my research, I knew it was exactly what I wanted, so I made the purchase. They were able to give me a better financing rate than my preapproval (through my bank) and even offered a warranty though the car had almost 100,000 miles on it. After the purchase, they insisted that I drive my new car home and cleaned out the water and mold from my old car before my agent, Camille, delivered it the 30 miles to my house. They were very nice, professional, and took care of me far above and beyond my expectations.

The salesman, Mr. Terrill Wiley was most friendly and with his calm demeanor set me at ease with the whole process. He was very informative about every detail of the Kia Optima and thoroughly answered all my questions. The Sales Manager was very friendly and helpful. Additionally, the Finance rep, Mr. Mabry made all the paperwork easy to understand, and moved us through it very expeditiously. I will highly recommend this dealership and the personnel to all of my friends and family.They state that they want to make this easy for you and that is exactly what they delivered.

Jonathan represented Koons Kia with upmost professionalism. He demonstrated outstanding product knowledge and customer service. We have visited several Kia dealerships in Delaware, Maryland and Virginia. Jonathan surpased them all. I sold cars for sevral years in the 80's and one thing is still true today; people are not shopping for cars. When most people enter your delaership they already know what they want. They are looking for a salesperson who listens to them. Basically they are shopping for sales person, not a car. The Koons company should keep a close eye on this young man, there may be a managment position in his future!

Jonathan Douglas offered to bring a Kia Sorento to my home about 6 miles from the dealership so I could test drive the car. I was impressed immediately with Koons desire to get my business. Jonathan was friendly and mature beyond his young years. He was respectful, polite, and made the new car buying experience a pleasure.The Koons service area is recently refurbished and makes a good first impression. The dealership is nicely situated to serve the northwest Baltimore market and is easy to get to from the Beltway and Owings Mills, Pikesville and Randallstown area.The car I wanted was in stock with the options I wanted. The trade in on my used car was fair. The Kia Motor buyer enhancements, rebates, interest rates were superior (at least through Oct 31, 2011).Rachel Barnes, the finance person, was professional, cheerful, and polite. She didn't pressure to buy the "extras" services, but politely reviewed them and moved on if I declined.Overall, I very good shopping experience.

I purchased a vehicle on July 30th from Camille Vigille. I was definiitely given WOW service that I will never forget. I had just moved to the area and called the dealership for information. Not only did Camille provide me with all the information I needed, but she drove 50 miles to come and get me from Washington, DC and allowed me to get one heck of a test drive back to Owings Mills and then even fed me once I got back to the dealership! Not only is she knowledgable and professional, but Camille is friendly, engaging, caring, well informed and clearly enjoys what she does. Rachel Barnes who took care of my loan documents also gave superb service along with Jerry Moriel to ensure that I got the best rate and lowest payment possible. Jonathan really knew the Kia Sportage. My husband and I were impressed with his knowledge of the car, and his honesty in answering our questions. He was patient and friendly and really made the whole process quite easy. It's been 7 years since we purchased a car and we did not plan on buying a new car when we woke up Saturday morning. My husband just wanted to "see what's out there" and now it is out there...in our driveway! It's a beautiful car and has just enough bells and whistles for us older drivers, and seems easy enough to operate. Jonathan is an excellent sales rep and his enthusiasm for what he does showed.Rachel Barnes was completely thorough, and patient as well, as we navigated the final paperwork. She understood that we were a bit overwhelmed and her friendliness really helped to put us more at ease.

Upon entering the dealer I was immediately greeted and referred to Jonathan Douglas, I knew specifically which vehicle I was interested in, and Mr Douglas seemed to have done his homework because there was not a question I could ask about the vehicle that he did not know the answer to. I had my heart set on the 2011 Optima and they made sure I was able to drive away as a new and satisfied customer.

All of the people at this dealership are very friendly and knowledgable. The salespeople were motivated to sell without being pushy. The finance person, Rachel, was also very pleasant to deal with. From my experience they carry more stock than other local dealers. We looked at 2 other area dealers but they didn't have what I was looking for in stock, but Koons had 3 of the cars with my desired options in stock.

I bought a new Kia that I love. Jonathan my sales person way very nice, and he went out of his way to get the exact vehicle I wanted. I have nothing bad to say about him, if you decide to buy from Koons, ask for him. He is simply amazing! As for the rest of my experience, well that is a different story. I thought I was trading in my old car, but 2 months after my deal was made, I found out my old car was never paid off. I Called and was told that a "trade in" does not mean a pay off, and that it was " a slip of the finger" in my contract that the pay off wasnt in it. But instead of fixing the problem, this was somehow my fault and I would have to recontract at a higher price and drop some extra options I chose. They could "eat" $2,600 and I would have to recontract the remaining for there "slip of the finger". As for my old car, they had already sold it and was no longer on the lot. I still do not know how this was done legally because I still owned the car and the title was still in my name. I was told they would see what else they could do and they would get back to me. The day I was supposed to hear from them, I never did and the person I spoke to was not in the office that day. A few days later they called me with the same deal and would not consider any other negotiation. 3 weeks have past since these phone calls. I have yet to hear from them. After getting a laywer, Kia Corp. the Maryland General Attorneys office, and the MVA involved they have finally paid off my old car. They never called to tell me about the pay off, however I had to recieve a letter in the mail from my old bank confirming this. In the mean time I have found my old car, with somebody driving around with temp tags while I still owned the vehicle. Once again, how is this legal? I would not and will not ever be going back to this dealer again. After the run around I recieved and different companys I had to contact and get involved to finally resolve their mistake, getting this new vehicle was more trouble than it was worth. They do not fix their mistakes or work with you as they should. Stay away from them and there "SLIP OF FINGER".

I recently incurred damage to my car and I was in need of a new vehicle.I live on the Maryland eastern shore, therefore I searched the local area for a Kia Sportage LX, but I was unable to locate the model that I wanted, in the price range that I needed it to be. I contacted dealerships in my local area and neighboring Delaware, however they were unable to assist me. During my internet search for a dealership, I discovered Koons Kia, in Owings Mills, Maryland. I contacted the dealership and my first contact was with Wendy, the manager. She asserted that they would work with me and she assigned Thomas Little to assist me.Thomas actually located a Kia Sportage for me, and Koons Kia was able to make an offer at a percentage rate that was 7% below the rate offered by a previous dealer, and 1% lower than my credit union offered. In addition, I received a $750.00 rebate for having completed my college degree within the past 24 months.Since my 2012 Kia Sportage is currently in transit, I was given a loaner vehicle to use until my new vehicle arrives. Since I reside on the eastern shore, approximately 80 miles from the dealership, when my vehicle arrives at the dealership, it will be delivered to me at my residence on the eastern shore.My entire experience with Koons Kia was superb. I really felt the sales associates worked hard to find what I wanted. I have been to several other Kia dealers and I never felt they really looked for what I was hoping to get; they just tried to sell me what was on their lot. Here, on the other hand, they listened to my criteria, helped me to refine my "essential" list and come up with the best choice for what I was looking for. Also, I am not very fluent when "speaking car" and the sales associates took time to explain everything I didn't understand. They wanted to make sure I knew what I was signing, why it was important, and what my options were. The financing associates were also extremely helpful. This is my first car and they spoke slowly so I could keep up, explained what all my options were as well as what they really meant for me in the future. All in all, I had a great experience from the moment I walked into the store to when I walked out. Everyone I came across was courteous and helpful. I will definitely recommend this no hassle store to friends and family.

The staff was friendly , knowledgeable and efficient but more than that, they listened to what we wanted and didn't waste our time once they knew we were ready to buy. The entire transaction wasdone really well. This is the first Kia we have owned but will definitely consider another if it means a chance to work with this dealership again.

Bought a car and they messed up the paper work. They did not pay off my trade in as agreed upon. I found out two months later. Then they wanted to redo the contract and it would have cost me more money. I was told this was my fault for not picking up their error. In the meantime they had sold my trade in. They kept telling me they would loose 3000 dollars on it to make it right but in the meantime I am in limbo. I have my old bank going after my credit because I didn't make a car payment in two months that I was not responsible for. I called 1 month after the deal and told them they had not payed off the car and I was assured it would be fixed. It was not and according to Wendy I should have called one of the people who gave me a card instead of someone in their finance department. Again my fault that they don't follow up on their mistakes. Stay away from this dealership.

It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Koons of Owings Mills. I made a phone call and was fortunate for Jonathan to be on the other end - 24 hours later I drove home with a new car. From dealing with Jonathan my Sales Consultant, Al the Manager, and James the Financial consultant my experience couldn't have been better. I dealt with several local dealers (Delaware & PA) and found shopping for a new KIA very painful. Driving to Owings Mills was well worth the trip and I highly recommend the dealership especially Jonathan.

When approached the dealership, I was greeted by Ms. Morgan with a smile and a firm handshake. She was very knowledgeable concerning the cars that were available. I informed her that I was a repeat Kia customer and wanted to purchase a new Sorento, she immediately begin to show me what automobiles were avaiable for my purchase. She did not push me into a sale nor did she pressure me into buying anything at that time. When I explained to her that I would be purchasing this automobile through MECU, she got Mr. Little who assisted her with the sale. He was very upfront with all the pricing that would be apart of the deal. He was very informative, accommodating, and professional. When there was an issue with getting the necessary paperwork from MECU, Mr. Little was instrumental in assisting me with getting it. Ms. Morgan was even kind enough to transport me to MECU to pick up the paperwork because I had no transportation of my own. It is this kind of attention that makes a customer return to a dealership. With the two of them assisting me, I didn't feel pressured, intimidated, nor overwhelmed. They were the deciding factor in the purchasing of my new Sorrento. I have and will continue to recommend this dealership to others. Their professionalism and courtesy were more than I have ever experienced at a dealership. Kudos to the two of them!!

This morning around 6:00 I woke up to a flat tire on my new Sportage (apparently running over a nail does that). I called around to several tire dealers and even another Kia dealership in my area. None had my tire in stock and I was told it would take 3-5 business days to get one in. Even though I was 45 minutes away & driving on my spare, I tried Koon's Kia (which is also where I bought my car - GREAT experience!). Mark in the Parts Department spent almost 15 minutes on the phone, calling around, attempting to locate a tire to match. And he finally did! None of the other places I called did anything other than look up my tire on their computer.I then spent the morning playing phone-tag with Bruce in the Service Department. Even though I kept missing his calls, he continued to call back until we got in touch around 1:00. He was able to squeeze me in around 5:00 to change my tire. And I was back on the road by 5:30! Additionally, the price I was quoted over the phone was the exact price I paid (there were no hidden "I-forgot-to-tell-you-about-that-fee" charges). The service here is amazing and the crew goes above and beyond all expectations. This could have been a horrible and inconvenient start to my work week. Instead, the employees at Koon's made sure I was taken care of. Every time I've been to the dealership, I've left so incredibly happy that I made the decision to purchase my car there and I'll continue to go back for my maintenance. Very rarely do I dish out compliments, but this one is well deserved. I can't thank the team at Koon's enough... You guys saved my day!

My daughter and I were greeted with a warm welcome by Ms. Camille the moment we step inside the office. She was very friendly and accomodating. She did all the paper works right away. She saw to it that I would be able to buy the right car and fall in love with it.She explained everything about the features of the car and helped me become comfortable driving the new car. When I signed papers with Miss Rachel, Camille and my daughter played UNO. My daughter had fun playing with her. Also my daughter said that Miss Camille's sweet tea was great. I went on line to search for the KIA Sportage. I had noticed one at a stop light and thought it was really great looking and body style I was looking for. I had heard byword of mouth that Kia had 10 year 100,000 mile warranty plus good on gas. So I went on line to search out all the extras I wanted and see if the price was inline and just more information about KIA. Next morning I receive an email from Wendy Aston General Manager Koons Kia in Owings Mills. I was really surprised that a General Manager would be emailing me.Wendy and I emailed back and forth a few times and she had Tom Little give me a call. Do to some issues with job and constraints it was not convient for me to actually go to the dealership so they brought the car to my house for a test drive. I was quite impressed to say the least plus we filled out the paper work right in my living room. Tom was so knowledgeable of information about KIA, the Sportage, plus you just felt like you were with family at Sunday dinner. Kia took both of my cars as a trade which really helped for a down payment.I felt they gave a very fair value on the trade ins. We had to go out to the dealership about 5 that evening to officially sign everything. I am 58 years have owned about 10 cars in my life this was the best, the easiest and the quickest transaction I have ever had. When we went to the dealership Koons Kia of Owings Mills MD. We were introduced to Mike Mabry Finance Director. I dont think I ever had met a friendly finance director he made you just feel great about the purchase. We were out of there in less than an hour. Record time.Wendy Aston, Koons Kia, Tom Little, and Mike Mabry have taken customer satisfaction to a new level and changed the car buying experience in my eyes forever. Not to mention how much we actually love the Kia Sportage, it is solid great turning radius its got everything you could image on it. I have to say out of all the SUVs or Vans I have owned this takes the cake in my book. I went online to view the Kia Optima, the Hyundai Sonata and the Toyota Camry. All three cars appeared to meet my expectations for my next new car purchase. Within 24 hours I received an email from Paula at Koons Kia regarding an appointment date to meet with her and test drive the Optima. Just from the friendly exchange in the email and one phone call, I knew she would make my upcoming visit a pleasurable one!On 06/16/11 I met Paula for the test drive. Right from the start she thoroughly explained the interior, exterior and auto stats (mileage, features,cost, etc.)about the Optima. As we were about to leave the parking lot, another Kia car pulled onto the lot that caught my eye. I inquired and she told me it was a Kia Soul+ and if I wanted I could test drive it after the Optima. I am so glad I took that Soul+ drive! What a sweet ride! However, not as sweet as the people I met that day at Koons Kia. Everybody made me feel so at home and comfortable. Paula knows everything about Koons cars and had no problems sharing the information with me...and that was what I needed no matter how many times I had purchased a car before. After the Soul+ test drive I had completely changed my mind and the Soul+ was the car for me!I love the color, the feel and all of it's features...including the price. Manager Mike Mabry worked the best deal he could for me and was so pleasant doing so, I had almost forgotten I was in a car dealership! (smiles) Jonathan Douglas helped me get my belongings transferred from my old car to my new car...again, one of the most pleasant and kind young man you'd ever want to meet. What else can I say? I will NEVER FORGET this buying experience! Kudos and blessings to all three who helped this little "70 year old" feel like a queen for a day! I'll tell others to make Koons Kia their "first" stop. The staff were very professional, courteous and knowledgeable on the features of the vehicle I was interested in purchasing. They were honest and up front with me and answered all my questions. I felt relaxed and comfortable to purchase something I wanted, and did not feel taken advantage of. I had everything explained to me in language that I could understand and I did not feel pressured to buy any extra dealer packages or insurance etc. The transaction was very smooth and I came out a happy owner of a new-used car. I would definitely recommend this dealer and would happily purchase another car from them.

I visited Koons Kia of Owings Mills to test drive a Kia Sorrento. We were in the market for a new vehicle, and were looking to upsize. We had our options down to two vehicles, and the Sorrento was one of them. Upon walking into the dealership, I met Thomas Little. He was so friendly and personable, that I was immediately at ease. He took me through all the details of the Sorrento, answering all of my questions and more. His knowledge of the vehicle was immpressive. He listened to my concerns about the needs of our very active family, and presented the ways in which the Sorrento could meet those needs. Thomas was so gracious and professional, and I can truly say that it was a pleasure meeting him and working with him during my search for the right vehicle for us. He was always accessible, forthright, and service oriented. He went above and beyond to ensure that I had all the information and experience I needed to make the right choice on a vehicle for my family. I have been to a lot of car dealerships over the years. I had a very good experience at Koons. The sale person was nice and made me feel more than a custom. He made me understand everything from start to finish. I learned more dealing with Koons than any other dealship.

The rating that I have given Koons Kia, Ownings Mills, MD is based on my experience with the sales representative Thomas Little. During my first contact with Mr. Little, he showed me the utmost respect and displayed a very friendly type of gesture. I was interested in the 2011 Kia Optima model, and he explained in detail, everything about the vehicle from the front bumper to the rear bumper. He impressed me with his relaxed but confident personality. I visited the showroom on several occasions unannounced with different questions and concerns. Each time, Mr. Little took time out of whatever he was involved with to address them. Unlike most car sales persons, he never harassed me on daily or weekly basis to purchase an automobile. The pricing of the vehicle was very competitive even though the vehicle was in high demand. On March 30, 2011, almost six weeks after visiting the dealership for the first time, I purchased a 2011 Kia Optima SX model. I was initially interested in the EX model, however, Mr. Little suggested the SX model based on my previous wants and desires. I am very happy with the SX model and probably would not have been as content with the EX model. Thank you Mr. Little! Based on his thorough knowledge of the vehicle, his outstanding people personality, and his enthusiasm with respect to representing Koons Kia in a professional matter, I would highly recommend to all of my friends and family ,if interested in a Kia, to visit Mr. Little at Koons Kia.

I bought a 2011 Kia Sportage a week ago and I'm SO glad I decided to buy from this dealer. I never felt hassled or pressured. Jeff did everything he could to make me feel comfortable during my first new car purchase. I returned to the dealer yesterday for a follow-up and he remembered exactly who I was (impressive!). Overall, I would highly recommend this dealer and Sales Specialist if you are looking to purchase a new Kia!

Jeff Scott worked very hard for me. The car I was looking for was barely available and there were not any in Maryland at the time I began looking. Jeff tracked several down and brought one into Koons and now I am riding around in an awesome new CUV.He is honest and not prone to pushing or prodding.

My husband, Sam, and I were not in the market to buy another car, as we had planned to repair our current one. We happened to drive by the Koons Used Car Outlet in Owings Mills, Maryland and saw a 2004 Honda Civic, EX, that caught our eye. It was raining very hard that day on Friday, April 7, 2011, so we decided just to drive around the lot, get out in the rain, and peek into the car. Just curious. We were absolutely impressed by the excellent condition of the car's exterior and interior. It looked like a brand new car. We couldn't believe what we were seeing. Suddenly, Pam McKeown and Jerry Morreaze, Pre-Owned New Sales Personnel, came out and invited us inside to discuss the details of the car's functions, accessories, service history, CarMax info, etc., everything customers needed to know to make an informed purchase decision. They did not use high-pressure tactics generally associated with the negative image of "used car salespersonnel." Their approach, which was professional, warm, and highly informed, relaxed us so that we decided the car was just what we needed. This Honda and Pam and Jerry WOW!ed us as your commercials promise. We have never been treated so warmly and professionally by car salespersonnel. We have already passed out Pam & Jerry's cards to my daughter, brother-in-law, and several friends who are in the market for cars. This dealership deserves all the praise we can give them. They appeared in the rain as "angels" who didn't have to needle us into buying. We were grateful and willing to add the 2004 Honda to our "family." Thanks so much for hiring and/or training such exemplary representatives of the Koons brand name. Gratefully...

I am a proud owner of a 6 speed Kia Optima LX. I love it and my experience in purchasing my car from Koons Kia of Owing Mills was great and refreshing. I love driving a manual car and Koons Kia of Owings Mills was the first dealer that didn't try to push me to purchase an automatic that they had in stock. I had already test driven an automactic and I didn't like it and Koons Kia of Owings Mills didn't have a manual for me to test drive at that time. However, Mr. Jonathan Douglas, my sales person worked with the manager on my behalf to get one for me to test drive. The manager was open and honest about taking a risk to do that without a commitment from me and he didn't make me a promise, which I was impressed with because I hate promises based on tricking people to stay with them and later making excuses about why they couldn't meet your needs. How refreshing it was to work with Jonathan and the manager of Koons Kia of Owings Mills who listened and worked with me on what I wanted and not what they had in stock. KOONS of Owings Mills (Jonathan Douglas) customer service is the reason I made up my mind to purchase a car from them, because I could have tried another dealer who had a manual Kia Optima for me to test drive. Jonathan, your service was refreshing, it feels good to have sales people listen first and respond based on what they heard, again thank you Jonathan. I was at an event just last night and I've already started telling my friends and family about the high level of customer service I received from Jonathan Douglas and the manager at Koons Kia of Owings Mills.

By far the best dealerhip AND salesman around. Not only did Jeff go out of his way to get the car I wanted at the price I wanted, he also worked out a great deal for the second car we purchased that same day. Jeff covered all the options and information for both of the vehicles and went as far as sticky tabbing the owners manuals(blue for me pink for the wife).With personal service like that and a nice little play area for kids this IS the all-in-one car shopping place.We also had to have a license platedframe installed on one of the cars and we took it to the service department. Everything was handled with the best care and everything was completed smoothly. All the details were explained and we ALSO received a "Thank You" email from our service rep Lee Ferguson.Overall I would recommend this dealership and salesman to everyone. Keep it up!

I would definitely recommend Koons Kia to everyone! Especially my sales guy Jeff Scott. He was excellent. This was my first car purchase, and I was very nervous about it. I came into Koons Kia and it was such a relaxed environment. Jeff immediately helped me. I knew exactly the car I wanted and he was very knowledgeable on the vehicle. He didnt try to just put me in a car to make a sale. He genially cared about my intersects, likes and dislikes and worked with me. I did not feel pressured at all. Overall I am very satisfied with the level of service that Koons Kia provided. They went over and beyond my expectations. I received a full tank of gas, free car wash and first free oil change! You cannot beat this service. Thanks Jeff Scott and Koons Kia for an excellent experience.

Went to this Kia dealer after reading all the negative reviews on other Baltimore dealers. Tom Little told us he would have pricing and all the new incentive info for my husband. After making a special trip to the dealership as mandated by Tom my husband discovered Tom was off. I called his cell he had no clue about the new pricing AND per Al Riddock they don't even have our mode 2011 Sedona l in stock. What a waste of time. We'll just wait out the Japan shortage and get a Toyota when we can afford a decent car.

Jonathan worked extensively with me to find the Van that best suited my needs. He spent time to answer all my questions on a used van in stock and worked hard to get a deal on a new van when I decided the used van was not for me. He provided a competitive price on the new Van and we are well pleased with our purchase.

Every encounter at this dealership was positive, friendly and upbeat. My salesman, Jonathan, was accomodating and knowledgable and willing to go the extra mile to get me the exact vehicle I wanted. Every salesperson who greeted me or spoke with me was more than happy to answer any questions even though I was already working with Jonathan. Al Riedick, the sales manager, was clearly busily working behind the scenes to get the car I wanted from another dealership while the salesman was answering my questions and showing me around the dealership. Even the financial analyst was helpful in getting me a better rate than I had secured and looking at various financing options to manage my monthly payment. He explained everything clearly and was patient and seemed geniunely concerned about what works best for me. Everybody at Koons KIA seems to work together towards helping the customer and are happy to be there. I would highly recommend this dealership!!!!
