My company had a Company truck overheat coming through Slidell La, Brian in the service department was AWESOME. They diagnosed the problem within an hour of arrival and had the truck completed the very next day. By far the BEST service. Tried to buy a 2016 Chevrolet Spark LS with 26,378 miles on it, I looked over the photos very closely from their website. Went ahead to this dealership to see the car in person and test it out, things seemed to be doing ok until I noticed that the steering is out of alignment and then after the test drive I looked to the left side of the steering wheel where the head light dial is located I noticed that the bottom half of the dash assembly is separated by a quarter of an inch. I brought these issues to the sales manager and explained that in the photos this was not the case and this separation was not there in the photos and told him that someone there had to have tampered with it and caused more harm than good. Anyway I got a call back and was told that they can handle the alignment issue but wouldn't handle the bottom half of the dash assembly due to being to complex. He went on with the price and I told him that's not going to work considering the issues at hand so this makes me believe that they know more than they are telling me when I was told that all of their used vehicles go through a thorough inspection before placed on the lot to be sold. To all folks looking for a used vehicle be sure to inspect the entire vehicle inside and out because this dealership has raised a RED FLAG with me and feel like they were trying get as much money for this car even when I pointed out the problems.

Service department went above and beyond on a warranty repair. From drop off to pick up, less than 24 hours to fix an engine problem. I am impressed with the level of customer service, the attention to detail, and the speed of service. I did not purchase my vehicle here. I have not had a pleasant experience with the service department at the dealer I did buy from. Based on this experience, I already know my next new car purchase will be with Lakeshore. Thank you!

Very high pressure sales environment. If you need a push to make a purchase, then good. But if you don't like being pressured into making a purchase, then don't go here. Also, buyer beware, these people will tell you just about anything to make the sale. My salesman told 3 distinct lies. What a joke.

Part of our deal was to ship the vehicle I purchased to Indiana. Upon arrival the vehicle was damaged. The dealership has refused to pay for the damages. They offered only 50%. Why should I pay half of the damages??? At no time has the dealership management called or communicated with me or apologized for the damage or my inconvenience. All communication has been done through my salesperson, Gail, who is great by the way! I hope she switches to a good dealership and SOON!!!Do not do business with the dealership!! The Sales Manager Chase and GM Chad will try to rip you off, as they did me!!!

I found a truck on gurus.com. I called the dealership that had the truck and spoke to Emanuel the salesman. He was very gracious and helped me in every way possible. He drove the truck to me an 1hour and half away from Slidell to Port Allen, Louisiana. When I picked up the truck it was detailed and ready to drive. When you're interested in buying a vehicle, you want to make sure where ever you decide to go, the car dealers are helpful, they are worried about your wants and needs and above all are flexible and trustworthy. My experience here at Lakeshore was beyond my expectations. My mom and I were treated like family and were helped by the best. I dropped truck off on tuesday,said they would look at problem by Wednesday evening. Didn't get to it till friday noon. $500 later after rental, reverse light, and oil change. Still didn't see why my sunroof was leaking. Brad the servicemen was rude to my wife when she told him to just give us our truck back. NEVER AGAIN

Brought my Jeep in for it's first oil change. The service department provided quick, courteous service and also addressed an update to the Power Control Module (recall P72) that I wasn't aware of. Most surprising was the cost of the oil change; $30.00! I expected a dealership price to be more than that. Even those drive-through oil changes are more expensive. This was a nice surprise.

While I was not in the market to immediately buy but more on the lines of shopping vehicles the salesman was courteous and patient while answering all of my questions. I know from dealing with previous dealerships that unless you are wanting to buy right then and there, the salesmen want very little to do with you. However, Rodney walked with me the whole time answering every ridiculous question I had and showing me all the different vehicles. This was even after I explained that I was merely looking and not interested in purchasing that day. He did try to sway me (what commission based employee wouldn't) but was never pushy. When I am ready to purchase I will definitely be going back to see him. If he is no longer there then I will find where he works and buy from that dealership.

I wish I had read the reviews on this dealership before I purchased this car I can't enjoy because of all the trouble I've had with the dealership. I will be reporting them to the BBB as well. As far as the terms of my loan that were not revealed to me by Dwayne in finance, who seemed like he would have rather been somewhere else, I had a long talk with the company that funded the loan today and reported it to them as well. The loan company told me that this is not the first time they have had this particular dealership not reveal the complete terms of the loan. I can assure you that I would walk and carry my children on my back before I EVER purchase another vehicle from these people or anyone affiliated with them!!!!! Buyers beware!!!

Given the very limited time available, the sales staff (especially Mr Rodney Battistella) were able to process all the paper work on the sale of the new Jeep Wrangler, have the vehicle transferred to Slidell from their Picayune showroom, transfer the trade-in, transfer the personalized license plate, and close the deal in only two and a half hours. I am very satisfied. Additionally, Mr. Rodney promised to call me back with the cost of purchasing and installing a trailer hitch to the new vehicle. That is the only thing that I am still waiting for him to do.

My salesman was Rob Johnson at Lakeshore Chrysler. Rob and Lakeshore are the best of the best. Rob was friendly, knowledgeable, and most importantly honest. I felt like I got first class treatment the entire time I was there. From when I first arrived all the way until I left in my new car I knew I was doing business with a professional. I got a solid, fair deal on my trade in and a good deal on my new purchase as well. I would highly recommend doing business with Rob and Lakeshore. I know I will go nowhere else for a new or used auto purchase!

I was recommended to go here and I drove my 1998 Toyota Rav 4 for a trade in, they offered $300 and it was very low, but they knew I was in a bind, so I will take the hit on that. I purchased a 1997 Nissan Altima with 53,000 for $4000 cash. The next day the car started jumpping and dieing so I came back and they said yes it is having issues, but the car is now mine and they don't offer any returns. I did not ask for a return, just fix the issue. They did not want to work with me and the manager was only interested in watch TV and I was just being a pain. The next day I came back because the car died 3 times and almost cause a wreck. They did not even give me an option to have their service department fix the problem and me pay for it. It was more like I was a problem and I just needed to leave. They are only interested in money and not any kind of customer service. I would not recommend anyone spending anything with them. I sure would not want anyone else to have to go through what I have went through with them.

I came to Lakeshore in Slidell looking for a car for my girlfriend. Timmy helped me find the car she wanted in the exact color, and it had all the bells and whistles. The buying process was very easy, and they gave me all of the information necessary to make me feel comfortable about making the purchase. This is not the first car I have bought, but it was the most pleasurable experience I have had with a car dealership to date. I ended up getting a brand new white Kia Optima SXL with leather interior. I drove a few cars other than the one I ended up buying and Timmy was very helpful and told me to take my time because it was an important decision. I just felt very welcomed and never rushed. The finance part of the sale was very straight forward and where I have felt confused in the past with a bunch of legal jargon, they explained everything to me in a very clear manner making sure I understood all of my options without being pushy. Horrible experience with jeep service. After 1157.00 repair to replace valve body of transmission, I went to start car and within 1 min, the same issue "trans over temp" came on and transmission reving/ blowing trying to cool down. The tech came into waiting area laughing. When I told him he looked happier than me, he said he forgot to reset code after repair. After leaving dealer, it came on again before I got home. Brought back to recheck because this was ongoing over weekend. By that aftrnoon, the service advisor called and said they had not id'd prob yet, and although they normally don't do this, they called enterprise and arranged a rental. The next late afternoon the svc advisor called again to say it was now the powertrain control modue that was problem and wud be 600 to fix. They said part was r ush ordered thurs and wud beready by fri. I called fri, sat and mon and left msgs without return call. On tues I called and left voicemail for service mgr who called back and said part just came in and vehicle shud be ready first thing in morning. I called the next morning and finally got a retun call voicemail at 345.....while I was asleep for my nightshift. I called back at 430 and was told to come get vehicle and repair complete. I told them I had to leave for work and wud be there in am when I got off. He did say that would be fine because it would only cost them 30 for another day rental. I asked him questions abt repair and told him I felt that 1st repair was misdiagnosed and not needed and was feelingtaken advantage of. He said well we did give u a rental as c oncession and he wasn't the person who took care of this issue with me so he wasn't sure abt issues. Tambra, oringinal service advisor, was very friendly, but neglected to fill everybody in before she went on vacation. I asked if there was a general mgr I cud speak with. I left voicemail for Allen, service director and told him my concerns. When I went to dealership to pick up, I asked to speak to director and went to his office. He was condescending and proceeded to tell me that his master mechanic did everything right. When I told him abt him saying he just forget to reset code.......by the way, my paerwork said no codes found.....he continued on the same path of conversation until I got frustrated and told him I was ready to leave, would never buy another jeep. I was ready to pay at cashier when he stated that I would be responsible for the rental fees paid to rental co. I loudly told him that I was absoutely not paying that too and went back to his office. He called enterprise and asked if they were instructed any details. They were only told by tambra to bill to dealer. He then said that he would allow that as a courtesy and gesture of good will. I am so pissed! I feel taken advantage of and will never deal with them again! I would never recommend this vehicle or dealership to anyone and will be trading for another very soon.

The honesty, professionalism, the ability of working with us as customers, the friendly, clean atmosphere is why we have been dealing with this dealership for over 25 years. We have bought at least 10-12 automobiles alone within our family. The product speaks for itself. They stand behind what they sell. The shop and workers they have are excellent. When they sell or promise a product, they deliver and stand behind their word. The people they have in sales know the car business. No "run-arounds" have they ever given us. The only reason I would recommend this dealership is because of my experience with Toni. She was helpful, honest, and really worked with me to get me to the price I wanted. However, everyone else was far from respectful. The financing manager was rude and pushy, and one of the other salesman was also rude to me. They felt I was taking too long to make a decision and told me they "didn't have time for it", which seems unacceptable to me, considering I was about to spend thousands of dollars on a car. All of that being said, I bought a car with them because Toni was fantastic. After the men were rude and disrespectful, she talked to me and apologized and we worked everything out. She then helped me figure out the best insurance policy I could get, which she certainly didn't have to do. All in all, I'd say go and ask specifically to work with Toni, and forget all the other people there. I believe she is the only trustworthy one in the bunch.

I had a wonderful service experience. Service write up was quick and to the point. D'arcy stayed in contact with me threw out the day. I never had to call to check on my vehicle one time. Services were performed properly and timely. When I went to pick up my vehicle,I was told I was customer of the day and the service manager awarded me a free oil change. We recently went to Lakeshore to purchase a new Durango Citadel. We had spoken with the staff over the phone and email before we showed up to test drive and purchase our car. They were every bit as friendly and easy to deal with in person. They also gave us the best price we could find...and we looked exhaustively on the many other websites and in other states too. In terms of the people -- everyone from Larry to Tony to even the owner Otis --, they were very willing to help make sure our purchase was easy and that we understood everything about our transaction and the car before we drove off the lot. We learned that most of the staff had worked there for 25 years plus -- makes a big difference in how much they care and their commitment to excellence. Great experience all around!

Two Years ago we started looking for an up grade to the van we had. We live in Hattiesburg. We checked the dealer in Hattiesburg, didn't want to give us much for our van. We decided the day after Xmas 2009, to start looking else where. So we drove to Slidell, La. Bought 2009 Van and were satified with the service. I said all this to give you the back ground, we didn't think twice about going back to Lakeshore.Monday, Jan 30th my Husband had a Dr. Appointment in Harvey, La. We drove thru Slidelland We decided to stop and look at Vans. Timmy Gennusa Greeted us with a smile and He went to work to find just what we wanted. We left and went to the Dentist appointmnet. When we came back thru Slidell, the Van was ready to go. My Husband wasn't feeling good so we left. Tuesday, we called and said we would be back around 6P.M. to get the Van. We are very Happy with Timmy Gennusa. He did an excellant job. We highly recommand this young Man. Timmy and Lakeshore has our business. We will send others to this Wonderful Team. I simply bought a lemon and it became obivous very quickly that the people handling my transaction didnt really give a damn about customer satisfaction. After arguing with the service manager I had to call the slidell police to get my car back from them. This is a very shady dealership. Buyer beware.

There is "NO" communication between any of the staff members and the management. the service manager is always busy to talk to anybody and the service department is incompetent.I currently have a complain with Chrysler that i am trying work out and they are completely lost. if you have an option...visit another dealership.

My family and I have purchased and leased new and used cars from Lakeshore Chrysler for the past 20 years. We have always received courteous and excellent service. I have dealt with Alan and D'arcy in the repair department many times, never once having a problem with either one. I have had all of my cars detailed by Lionel for many years. He has always done an excellent job along with a great attitude and smile! Over the years I have dealt with Bryne Larch, V.J. Gennusa, Jay Thompson, Cherylyn Rotollo and Clint Favre. All of which conducted themselves in a very professional manner, most polite and friendly and did everything they could to be helpful. The last car purchase I made was July 2011, a KIA Forte. The young man that sold me my car was Timmy Gennusa. It was my first time buying from him. He was most knowledgeable in helping me find a car in my price range and to fit my driving needs. He did many things after the sale that I would not have known how to do, such as setting up my i-phone connection to call through the radio. I was also given a very fair trade-in on my PT Cruiser, that had to be towed in. Timmy also delivered my car to my home because I did not have transportation to pick it up. I was very pleased with the friendliness of all the people I talked to at the dealership. It seemed like they went out of their way to make sure I got exactly what I was looking for and did so without putting pressure on me to buy. Once I made the purchase, Timmy showed me all the bells and whistles that I wasn't familiar with. He set up our cell phones to the radio system and spent over an hour explaining all the functions ie: satellite radio, Cd downloads ect. I have never had a salesmen go that much out of the way after the sale was made. He also took care of a few minor details that we wanted corrected with the truck.I have been buying new cars for 40 years and I would highly recomment him for any award for his professional service.

Lakeshore Chrysler was a real pleasure to work with. Everybody i came in contact was friendly and courteous. I was looking for a 2010 dodge ram hemi and had been in an out of the dealerships for about a month. Lakeshore gave me the best price for my trade in and the best price on a brand new dodge truck. It was a really nice to not feel pressured by the crew at lakeshore like i was at other dealerships. I will continue to do business with Lakeshore and would recommend others to do so. I had an excellent experience at Lakeshore. The staff was very informative and helpful. My salesperson, Timmy Gennusa, listened to what I wanted and found the best car for me. He even made sure I received a voucher for a free full tank of gas. Timmy didn't try to just sell me any vehicle; he made sure i got what I wanted for the best price. I recommend Lakeshore, the staff is very attentive and friendly.

I called the dealership, told Timmy what I wanted and with in 1 day, he had a car for me to look at. it was exactly what i asked for. He was very helpful in explaining all my options for the car, warranty's etc. If you go to Lakeshore, I recommend asking for him.

made a deal on july 7, 2011 took my truck for a trade in for $10000. We had agreed to used $5000 down and a refund of $5000 so I could pay off a few high interst credit card bills. They wrote me an I owe You $5000 dollars when the deal is funded. Ally Bank paid the $28000 and funded the loan, but the prickoffive manger refuse to honor the I owe YOU, (7-19-11) the new story was they were waiting on my trade in title to come in. Since I paid $60 for the title to be cleared on my trade on 7*7*11) So far they still have my money. If I was on the way to buy a car and it broke down in front of lake shore dodge I would walk anywhere before setting another foot on that property. The first 400# sales man was so dum he couldn't answer one of my questions about the truck I was looking at. I got a new sales man, He was better than the reat of them. I called the police on them today, still no check, I will refort to the BBB to help future victims. I hope everyone of you assholes get everything you have coming to you. have problem with knock in motor, went in to meet with regional rep, and service manager,felt threatened and was verbally abused by alan, and regional manager stood back and let him keep doing it, was screamed at because i had questions that needed to be answered, told them i wont do buisness with again, service manger told me no joke he dont give a f_ _ _ _! and walked off! im a long time customer and no one should be treated that way, totally uncalled for, he has now caused major stress to me hope otis favre sees this he is the owner, another customer lost!!!!!!!! dodge corporate needs to audit this place for customer care! alan must be on drugs to talk to a customer like that! it is not the trouble im having with the truck now it is the abuse i just went through this morning at the dealership.

Brought vehicle in for repair. Vehicle was damaged while in the repair shop. After being insulted and humilated by the service director for complaining about the damage, I complained to the dealership owner, but to no avail. Have purchased 4 vehicles in the span of 5 years. Dealership shows no loyality to its customers. Complaint sent to BBB! Would not recommend this dealership to anyone!!!
