My car of 8 years was in need of an upgrade, so I walked into Lexington Toyota, knowing exactly what I wanted. A 4Runner. Bill showed me a few models, which further solidified my decision. We reached the price I wanted in almost no time, without the uncomfortable haggling over price that can delay jumping into a new car by days if not weeks. He located the color and model I wanted, gave me a thorough rundown and tutorial of all the features, and I was driving off the lot in about a week and a half, ecstatic with my new truck!

From the first time we walked in to driving away with our new leased Prius was a total of 9 days, and that felt like just the right amount of time. Ed Donovan's low-key approach was just what we were looking for, and the leisurely pace at which we proceeded was very comfortable for us. He was helpful but never pushy, attentive but not pressuring - that's a great model for other salespeople to emulate. When it came time to do all the paperwork and pick up the car, Ed was unfortunately ill, but his colleague Bill stepped up and walked me through the procedure and an introduction to the car's operation that was friendly and effiicient. As an added bonus, the terms of the lease itself are also perfectly satisfactory.

Bill Dorfman made buying a pre-owned Camry an easy experience. He was very knowledgeable about the features and steered me in the direction of a car with better-value. He also appreciated my concern that I buy the safest car possible for my teenage daughter. Overall, I've been extremely happy with Lexington Toyota as a dealership. Just bought a new Rav4 XLE hybrid. Bob Ferguson was there to answer my questions, no pressure, honest and to the point. He picked out a car to test drive I liked immediately. He took the time on a busy, busy Labor day weekend. I was driving off the lot with a smile. Financing was simple at 0%. George and Sean Grey were there and said hello. A reliable family run business.

I spent a week looking around at different dealerships to find the Toyota avalon I was interested in. I was so happy to find that the best price AND the best salesperson, Bill Dorfman, were at the same dealership. I don't think a five star is high enough for Bill or the dealership but it's all that is allowed.

Bill Dorfman made buying a car a pleasurable experience! You read that right...a pleasurable experience! After having a disastrous experience at another local Toyota dealership. (I will not mention their name, but they are located in Woburn!) A friend recommended Bill and Lexington Toyota. Best move ever! He returned phone calls and emails promptly as my wife and I made changes to the car options. Everything about the transaction was clear and there were no exaggerations or unfulfilled promises. (Like other places.) We were told at the previous dealership that the car we were looking for was unavailable in a timely manner. Bill and Lexington Toyota had the same car with 48 hours and added some extras that we agreed on as well. We don't buy cars very often, but we will be coming back to Lexington Toyota and Bill Dorfman the next time that we need one.

Perfect dealership for me. Chose them for my new Prius because of the tone of their emails. Seriously. I reached out to a number of local Toyota dealerships for a quote. While three others responded back with very salesly emails that urged me to come in for a test drive right NOW, Bill Dorfman's email was only chock full of information on their price for a Prius, incentives and discounts, and then full transparency for all taxes and fees. The in-person experience (this time with Jeff Pence) was just as low pressure -- just a knowledgeable person showing me the car and answering my questions. Minimal negotiation back-and-forth (no stupid "well, I have to check with my sales manager" stunts). Car pickup was also super easy.

My wife and I had a horrific experience at another local Toyota dealership. (I won't mention the name, but they are located in Woburn!) A friend of ours, who we ran into at the other dealership in Woburn, wound up buying her car from Lexington Toyota. She said we should call Bill Dorfman at Lexington Toyota and talk with him. He was very empathetic to our previous experience and told us that is not how they do things in Lexington. He was right. We immediately were comfortable with Bill. He was straightforward and truthful in everything that he said to us. There were no exaggerations. He returned phone calls and emails quickly after we changed our minds about options on the car. The paperwork was handled quickly and efficiently. We had the car with all the options in 2 days and we were able to take the car with us on vacation. We will be sending all of our business his way in the future. Great job by the crew over at Lexington Toyota! Keep it up!

We had a great experiencing purchasing our new car from Lexington Toyota. We didn't want to go through the high pressure sales process, so instead emailed their internet sales manager and negotiated a great price online. Coming into the dealer was as easy as confirming we liked the vehicle in question and mentioning the price we agreed to, working out trade in value, and we were on our way. I really appreciated that they gave us a very competitive price right from the start over email, not requiring us to come in before giving us pricing like most of the other dealers we spoke with. On Saturday 03/26/20016 I brought my 2012 Rav 4 with 54,000 miles in for a Minor Service and oil change. This is the second Toyota that I have owned and had serviced with Lexington Toyota. I have dealt with a few of the Service Writers over the years and for a very busy service department they all have been excellent at accommodating and understanding my particular service needs. On this visit Peter Fitzpatrick was my service writer. He was very good at explaining some minor issues that the mechanic had discovered during his inspection. Peter was easy to work with and took the time to explain things very clearly to me. He offered several options, but we worked out what was most convenient to me. My 2007 Camry was covered under extended warranty due to faster than normal engine oil consumption. They topped up the oil and asked me to come back in 1200 miles. Then I was offered a very nice Prius loaner for the several days when they worked on the fix. Only after two days I received a call and my Camry is ready! Our car was taken to this dealers service department for some minor work in and were alerted to few significant repairs. I spoke at length with Dawn, from the service department, and she clearly and calmly described the recommended repairs for me. I asked several questions, and she provided helpful and extremely informative answers after a short time, and a conversation with the mechanic. Since these repairs involved significant costs, we chose to wait, and carefully consider spacing these repairs over some time. Dawn once again gave us a very useful description of the repairs, complete with a status of the conditions that needed attention and/or replacement. During one of the more extensive repairs, the mechanic noticed an issue that required immediate attention. At this time, we met another considerate individual, Bruce, at the service counter. After he told us that a repair would take longer than anticipated, he took charge and promptly provided us with a loaner vehicle, and a sincere apology for the additional time the car would need to stay in the shop. Facing an unplanned inconvenience, Bruce was an ally that provided fabulous service that took our transportation needs into account.Owners of older cars occasionally must consider large repair bills. In these situations, one should be provided with clear facts, and also with options. I feel now that we made a good decision and our car runs extremely well thanks to our experience with Lexington Toyotas service department. They not only provided us the information we needed to navigate this common dilemma, we were treated with respect and consideration while contemplating this major expenditure. Im grateful to Dawn and Bruce for their excellent advice and support.

If somebody asked me where to go to buy a brand new toyota, I'm definitely sending them to Lexington Toyota. The service was excellent for a number of reasons: I didn't feel taken advantage of like I felt the dealers nearby tried to do. The offers and discounts were great for a first time car buyer after college. Nick had great knowledge of the car and found me the deal that bests suits my interest in vehicles and fits my financial needs. My family bought a car from this dealership 14 years ago, and that same dealership (Lex Toyota) ended up taking that same car as a trade in for a value that helped me get started in procuring a brand new 2016 Toyota Camry. I recently bought a 4Runner and was guided through the whole process by Yaneth Prada. Yaneth was great, as she made the whole process enjoyable. This is unusual for me to say since my experience has always been cumbersome and not something I really enjoy. I was dreading buying a new car, but my experience at Lexington Toyota was pleasantly surprising. I worked with Yaneth and she was helpful but not overbearing. The negotiations were fine and quick. The best part was the actual purchase and delivery of the car. Yaneth went over all the features of the car and helped me set up the "computer" in the car. Monica did a nice job reviewing the financing and the warranties. Sean, the General Manager was overseeing the process and making sure things went smoothly. When there was a problem with the registration he got right on it and even had a loaner car waiting in case we couldn't get the plates that day (the insurance company had not faxed documents). Overall, I highly commend purchasing a car from Lexington Toyota.

Ok. I'll be perfectly honest. These guys know me because I've leased or bought so many times from them. But there are so many reasons why I keep coming back, and this time the experience was the same. Great price. No haggling. No "hot box" tactics. They told me what it would cost. That's what it cost. They gave me solid advice on my turn-in and offered to help me out with the excess wear & tear. They got all the paper work done ahead of time. The whole process was quick and easy. Lexington Toyota is trustworthy and reliable. Because it is a smaller dealership, the staff makes it a priority to treat customers with special care and attention. Jeff Penta was the salesman who worked closely with me for 3.5 months to help me build and special order the 2016 Tacoma TRD Offroad. He gave me updates everyday, did extensive research, and never over-promised anything. In the end, the truck still arrived two weeks than the expected delivery date. Jeff is very personable and will be sure to always give you accurate and helpful information about the car you are looking for. Once the Tacoma truck arrived at the dealership, Nick Lamonikis walked me through every single feature (exterior & interior) to make sure I knew all the important things about the car. He was extremely knowledgeable and even followed up a week later to check in and ensure everything was working properly. Incredible first experience at Lexington Toyota and will be referring my friends and family to this dealership.

This is by far the best Toyota dealership that I have found (and I have had experience with several others). Members of my family have bought three cars there within the last six years, and we had very good car-buying experiences. The service department is also excellent. They do their work quickly, and they are very honest. They do not "pad" the cost of tune-ups or other repairs with unnecessary "service recommendations," and this distinguishes them from most other dealerships. Without hesitation, I would recommend them to anyone.

Just had the most pleasant experience buying a car that I've ever had. We just purchased our first family car and had a really positive experience at Lexington Toyota. Jeff, our sales manager, was engaging, knowledgeable, and very responsive, and everyone at the dealer was friendly and helpful. From our first stages of research to the final sale, we felt valued and supported, and while we do not have a lot of outside experience, we did try other dealers (including a Toyota one) where we did not receive a similar response. We found out later that the branch is family-owned, which is no surprise given the warmth and respect with which everyone treats you. They also really valued our time - we felt a little rushed trying to get a car before year's end and trying to do it all while our babysitter could stay with the kids, and they were flexible and accommodating. I can highly recommend this location.

I had my splash guard repaired approx 2 yrs ago by Lexington Toyota service center. Recently I noticed part of it hanging down so I brought it back to Lexington Toyota service center. The service department was friendly and told me they replaced and tightened the 5 clamps. They also told me I needed approx $4500 in other repairs (4 new tires and alignment, brakes, belts, etc). I did not have any of this additional work done and instead brought my car to another service center for a second opinion. I knew all this work was not needed because I had recently had a lot of work done on my vehicle (just not at Lexington Toyota) so they did not have any of my repairs on file. I knew I was due to replace 2 of my tires but certainly not 4 (because I just got 2 new tires 6 months prior and again Lexington Toyota would not have record of these repairs). I also had my timing belt, water pump, and some hoses repaired 5 months prior-again, Lexington Toyota was unaware of this. My guess is that instead of the technician actually looking over my car and assessing what was really needed, he/she looked at the mileage of my car and made assumptions based on that. Perhaps, thinking they could take advantage of an older female also had something to do with it. In any case I was not presented with an accurate and, in my opinion, honest assessment of what my car needed. I took my car to another service center where I had the 2 front tires replaced. When I asked them to put the new tires on the rear and move the rear tires to the front (because it's better to have your newer tires on the back of the vehicle) I was told this was not needed because the tires were in such good shape it is as if I have 4 new tires on my vehicle. They also checked all the other repairs that were in question and explained that I did not need anything else at this time. However, they did have to tighten the clamps on my splash guard because one of them had come undone (this is what was "repaired" at Lexington Toyota less than a week prior). Glad I got a second opinion and glad I didn't get $4500 of unnecessary repairs from a service center that is obviously NOT HONEST about what is needed and may possibly prey on older women.

At first I didn't believe the pain is from the car, I visited a doctor and she told me maybe your new car seat caused this problem, so that I called the toyota company center. They said "THEY HAVE TO SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM "I went to Toyota Lexington and talked to dealership and mananger many times and I asked them to change my car but they didn't accept. My original guarantee was that I had 90 days to return car for any reason. Now I hurt so much and I spend much times to visit doctor. My recommendation is "NEVER BUY CAR FROM TOYOTA LEXINGTON ". NEVER

We have been clients of Lexington Toyota for almost 25 years. While we are very faithful to the service department, we have always done our homework and compared prices between dealerships when buying a new vehicle. And almost always, we have ended up purchasing our vehicles from Lexington. This time as part of our homework, we used the True Car service through AAA to locate dealers who had the vehicle we were interested in. I was very pleased to find Lexington Toyota on the list. We promptly received a phone call from Nick Lamonakis who happened to have sold us our previous car. We were very pleased to have an opportunity to work with him once more. At no time during our discussions did we ever feel pressured to purchase anything. Nick was very knowledgeable about the product and answered all our questions. In the end, we feel we received a very favorable price on our new car and a fair price on our trade in. Nick did a great job of handling all the paperwork and administrative items and made sure we were comfortable with all the new features of our car before we drove off the lot. We are really looking forward to driving our new car and we appreciate all that Nick did to provide us with a positive experience.

Our experience was great 10 years ago so we went back. Nick Lamonakis handled our sales and was so very helpful and attentive. He was also great at handling all the interruptions from our 4 yr old! I decided to buy a new Prius primarily based on the high mileage. But, having had 2 Subaru vehicles over the past 25 years, it was a difficult decision to switch companies and go with something much different. The salesman at the Toyota dealer was very knowledgeable and helpful in answering my questions, addressing my concerns, taking me for a test drive, and checking in a couple of times while I spent a few weeks agonizing over my impending decision. All done in a very low pressure down-to-earth manner so I was comfortable talking with him. Once I decided, the finance process was also handled smoothly with good explanation of my options, but no pressure to buy extra features or extended guarantees.

Excellent dealership. Purchased 2005 Rav4 new. Pleased with friendly, helpful and affordable service on the Rav 4 as well as an Avalon purchased elsewhere in 2002. This past July 4th weekend, after online shopping, found Highlander Platinum vehicle in Lexington's inventory, which I wished to test drive. Upon entering a very busy dealership, I was immediately greeted by the Internet sales person. Since all sale rep were busy, he stepped in and accompanied me on a test drive. Upon return from road test we met with Nicolas Lamonakis, sales advisor, and he conducted a friendly, professional and informative price negotiation and we reached willing buyer, willing seller status in a reasonable time frame. Upon agreement, Nick adroitly handled the paperwork including the process of insurance, registration, vehicle inspection and scheduled delivery for 3 PM the next day. When I arrived the next day, Nick provided a tour of the service and parts department. He then conducted a thorough review of the autos features with reference to the manuals and literature that is provided with the car. As I mention to Nick all of my dealings with Lexington Toyota service and sales can be described as "easy to do business with"

I have helped my son lease two RAV4 from Lexington Toyota in Lexington, MA. Three years ago we did not have a good experience in leasing the car from Lexington Toyota. When the lease was due to expire we went back to the dealership and worked with Ed Donovan and had a completely different experience. They told us they were very sorry for the poor service from the prior salesman and promised us if we gave them another chance our experience would be only positive. Our salesman Ed Donovan made sure that we had a good experience this time and even thru in a few extras at no cost to make us forget about the last time.

On May 26 I visited Lexington Toyota looking to buy a cr to replace my Sienna a bought thre 10 years age. I was great my Mr. Edward Donovan. He was quite courteous and undrstanding of my needs and the price range I wanted to get into. He showed me a few cars but I wanted another Siennaso he took me for a test drive in the cara of my choosing and after our return explained the features to me. I want to mention specifically the salesman with whom I worked. He sold me my last new car as well. His name is Nick Lamanakis. He spent as much time with me as I needed finding the vehicle I wanted and explaining how everything worked. He explained all the financial aspects of the purchase, trade in and transfer of plates and paperwork. The car was ready when I arrived and everything handled quickly so I was fast on my way to enjoy my wonderful new Camry. This was the same as my first experience, which is why I went back and asked for ohm again. He followed up to see if I had any questions and even volunteered to come to my house I'd I needed any help using the car/garage door connection.

I loved my Toyota and I had a very pleasant sales experience at Lexington Toyota but the service experience has always been a little "iffy"--until now. Now it is awful. I have never had my Toyota serviced anywhere else, including two months ago when they did routine maintenance and supposedly topped off all the fluids. My transmission suddenly failed--less than 2 months and 1500 miles after they serviced it. They are telling me that I drove it without transmission fluid--even worse, that there was no transmission fluid even left when they checked it. They also say there were no leaks in the system. So, where did all the fluid go? Did they really top off the fluids when they say (in writing) that they did--and charged me for it? Did they skimp on the 15,000 mile service and now I am paying the price? Are they trying to cover up their mistake and charge me for a very expensive new transmission and blame it on owner error?The kicker--after telling me that I was to blame for my car breaking down because I was too dumb to check my own transmission fluid; that he had no explanation for how they could have serviced the car shortly before all the transmission fluid mysteriously disappeared, and I had no alternative than to pay them over $4000 for a new transmission, he gave me his business card and invited me to call him if he could be of further assistance.Even when I was happy with the service it was in spite of their "customer service" representatives, who tend to be very abrasive and condescending. One rep was annoyed at me when he called at my office and got my voice mail when I was at a meeting--he explained how inconvenient it was for him when he was unable to reach me on the first try to get authorization for some service work. I also had a problem one day when I came in for service and discovered that the shuttle that took me to public transportation was unavailable that day. It was explained to me that the service was "free" and that therefore I did not have the right to complain when it was unavailable without notice.They also wanted to sell me new tires without telling me that there was a manufacturer's rebate that saved me almost $100 when I got the exact same tires later that week from my local service station. So, my advice would be to stay away from the service department. I am very, very disappointed.

I brought my car in for service in November 2012, as after the tropical storm that hit the northeast around Halloween, my brakes started to pulse when I used them. My car was stored in a car port for the entire storm, so I was concerned something had gotten washed/blown in. After dropping the car off, I got a call and was told that I had to replace my front brakes because the rotors were warped, and recommended a cleaning of my rear brakes. This same service center replaced my brakes 1.5 years (25,199 miles) prior, so I questioned the need for this work to the front brakes. On the phone for 5-10 minutes, I continued to question why the need to have it done, I was told I would get a phone call back as he wanted to talk to the mechanic. On the call back by the same person, I was informed I did not have to replace my brakes and that my brakes still had a lot of life left. I questioned if this is safe, would my brakes work, and would anything else break as a result of this. I was informed the brakes would continue to work and I could drive safely, nothing else would break as a result of this, but that the brake pads would wear quicker.So if I hadn't questioned this, I would have replaced my brakes. Now I have questioned it, I am told I don't need to replace them. Which advice do I follow?I picked up the car, after telling them not to work on the brakes. Because of my now dis-trust of what I was told, I brought my car to a local garage to inspect the brakes. I was told that nothing at all was wrong with them, and the rotors were NOT warped at all. Since picking up my car, the brakes have not pulsed at all.While looking for another dealership to service my car, I read a review on this site (from LRock on 5/24/2013 11:55:11 AM) who has an almost same experience, and they tell him they fired someone for billing work and not doing it.I did send in a review to Lexington Toyota in November, including all the information above, as well as an issue with a service rep's language. I received a phone call from a sales rep asking me to call them back, so they could resolve this issue and replace my brakes for free. From my point of view, bringing my car to a now untrustworthy business to fix my brakes would be just foolish. I will never do business with them again, for service OR sales.

THEY RECENTLY FIRED SOMEONE FOR FAKING DOING BRAKE SERVICE WORK. Guy never did my back brakes. BRAKES!Nov 2012 - I took my 2004 corolla in for brakes. They said the front brakes were almost gone and the back brakes had a lot of rust on them. I had both done. Or so I thought. April 2013 - I am hearing a brake noise again. Brought it back. The service guy proceeded to tell me that my back brakes had rust on them. I let him talk about how the rust has been building up for years, and that I really need this service. I told him, 'then what the h-ll did I pay for back in November?'. He argues with me that I never had that done. Then he finds a note in some line item and suddenly its free, which is crap because it wasn't a note (I have the paperwork) it was a real service item with the price listed not hidden in verbiage of the other service. Early May 2013 - More noises and its getting worse. This time, they claim the noise is due to new ways the parts are made without asbestos and how the steel on steel noise I am hearing is normal. I believe his crap since the noise was gone when I left Toyota, but it has since returned. Now I realize they just lubricated the back drums to shut it up, which they mentioned they did. To top it off, the service woman circled some initials on my paperwork from November and said 'I know this won't make you feel any better, but this person was let go.' Nice, so you had a mechanic that was claiming to fix brake work, and NEVER did. 5/24/13 - Well $1200 and another mechanic later, the back brakes were gone and a brake pad was MISSING! Toyota Lexington also said the whopping sound of my tires was due to the high tread feathering. I bought his crap. Turns out both front wheel bearings needed to be replaced. Oh and two of my tires had chunks of tire missing, which is shocking that Toyota didn't notice when they claimed to have taken my front wheels off to look at the car the 3rd time. So basically, if I got into an accident and died because of them claiming they did work / checked my brakes a total of three times, Toyota would be buying my mom a house. I want my money back for the rust work that should have been just new brakes. I want my time back, but won't get that. So what's the compromise? Will I get the rust charge back? How about a free oil change, I need an inspection sticker too, AND a free thorough detailing? I don't trust them to do more than put oil in and steam clean my car at this point. I have yet to call and talk to a manager, but I am dreading being told to go to small claims court since I didn't go back to Toyota. I think 3 times to check something is enough of trusting a place that even admitted that they fired someone for faking service work.

Joel has a fabulous no pressure sales approach/ style that I truly appreciated. I felt at ease looking at the vehicle, test driving and asking questions that were essential in making my decision. (I was seriously considering purchasing a similar--not Toyota- vehicle and I did not have the same experience). If anyone is interested in purchasing a vehicle, I would recommend talking to Joel. He is a terrific guy who treats you as he would like to be treated. Also Sean was instrumental in facilitating a wonderful deal for my new vehicle and we are really grateful. He made us feel special although he was clearly very busy with numerous responsibilities. Brian ( financial specialist )was great. He also has a no pressure style and was very informative regarding additional products available for my vehicle. Although I was comfortable deciding not to purchase the many options offered , I did choose to buy extended vehicle service and maintenance plans as well as a plan for my tires/wheels and keys. I am now "worry free" for several years. All in all this is the 6th Toyota vehicle that my husband and I have purchased from Lexington Toyota and I anticipate it will not be our last. Many of our former vehicles we have passed on to family and friends and they have been delighted. I went to this dealership through a recommendation of a friend.I have never bought a new car and I was so excited!Peter Franklin was the representative that helped me and he wasso helpful, considerate and there was no pressure. I was so excited to pick up my car and wasn't able to make it there before Peters hours and that was no problem for him. He stayed and waited for me after hours and still took the time to explain the car to me and set up what needed to be set up. At Lexington toyota I was so relaxed and at ease. All my questions wereanswered and I was more than satisfied with the sale.Also when I went to go sign the paperwork with Brien he took histime with me and explained everything. I was with him for maybe more thanan hour because I had so many questions and he was very professional and made me feel very at ease! My husband & I went to Lexinton Toyota to look at the Rav4 and Camry (not even planning to purchase anything that day) We met Peter and did not feel that "salesperson-y" persona from him. At no point during our visit were we pressured or pushed into anything, he was very friendly and listened to what we had to say & answered all of our questions with confidence & honesty. We drove the Rav4, but decided to go the car route....We test drove the Camry LE and then asked if they had any SE's in stock; it just so happened the only one they had was just taken off the delivery truck. We were able to negotiate the exact price we wanted to pay plus a trade-in with ease!!! I have never encountered that in any car dealership before. We went there at 2:00 on Tuesday afternoon, finalized the deal by 5:30 & had financing in place by 6:00pm. We picked up our car at 6:00 the following night. That to me, is exceptional customer service.

Peter met me at the door and right away I liked his style he showed me exactly what I asked for an explained the financial details without pressuring me to make any quick descisions. The truck wasn't easy to find Peter and his team searched for my truck for two days and found an exact match for the features I wanted. I came and picked up my first brand new truck after years of used trucks, I am so happy with the tundra it's awesome. For all women who hate the idea of buying a car on their own, Lexington Toyota is the dealership for you! As a professor who actually teaches negotiations, I was still anxious about the process. And now as a widow and never having bought a car alone, I'd been dreading the whole event. But at Lexington Toyota - a family-owned, boutique-type dealership, I found the people AND the product I needed. Steve - the Internet connection, and Joel - the salesperson -- were amazing. I was treated with respect and, because I know people in the industry, received a fair price. Joel was thoughtful, intelligent, and symbolized the quality of service that I found at Lexington Toyota.And trust me, I did my homework at 4-5 other Toyota dealerships in the Boston area. Not only were the people great, not only was the price fair, but Joel, Steve, and Lexington Toyota found me a very rare-to-find model. Apparently, the model of RAV4 I wanted with the features I wanted in the color that I wanted was not accessible to ANY of the other dealerships I had contacted. But at Lexington Toyota, they brought in the car of my dreams from a few hundred miles away. If you're a woman who needs to buy a new or used car, I feel really comfortable referring you to Lexington Toyota in general, and to Joel in particular. I NEVER thought I'd be writing a fan letter to a car dealership. But here it is.

I dealt mainly with the salesman, Peter Franklin. However, everyone there was friendly, helpful, and personable. I had a very uncomplicated situation: I just wanted to buy a 2011 Prius as soon as possible, and this was the closest dealership. That said, there are other dealerships in the area. I decided to work with this dealership because I wanted a straightforward, low pressure, no bull experience. Other dealerships farther away offered us special "deals" to buy from them, which turned out to be things that "just came with" the car I ended up buying right there in Lexington. Peter's definitely a salesman. He wants your business, and what he wants to sell you is... the car that you want.

I came into Lexington Toyota because my mom had purchased a vehicle a couple weeks prior and had a terrific experience all around. I walked in and immediately felt comfortable. Peter Franklin was terrific all the way through the process. Very friendly, down to earth, detailed and prompt in answering questions and follow through. I was pretty particular about the car I wanted and had been to a few dealerships prior to my arrival. The particular RAV that I was looking for was hard to locate, but they did it and they did it quickly! Felt like part of the family driving my awesome car off the lot. We're happy with the service we received. We went to this dealer because it was close by, but we're glad we did. Our salesmen was very helpful and was easy to work with. We even had our 10 month old with us, but he was more then happy to play with her and put our car seat in for a test drive. Everyone we talked with was friendly and put us at ease. Started new car shopping a couple weeks ago and this was the first place we went. I test drove a Corolla, but they didn't have any Prii in. However, no worries, they put me on a list, and called me first thing when they got some in about a week later. I test drove it and bought it right away. Peter was no pressure, down to earth, told me what I needed to know and was great answering any questions I had. The staff was friendly and eager to help. My girlfriend has her Matrix serviced there for several years, and now I'm a fan too. Great dealer!

overcharged for service using routine prepaid coupons from Toyota. According to Toyota of North America the coupons are valid at any Toyota dealer except the 1% of dealers not accepting them. Lex. Toyota is in that 1%. However they did not inform us of that and charged more than $300 over the value of the prepaid coupons. Toyota of NA refunded part of the charges, but not all. Lex. Toyota refunded $0.

At Lexington Toyota, I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. Everyone that assisted me in the process of leasing my 2011 Toyota Camry made everything easy for me. They explained everything thoroughly and advised me on all applicable rebates. The Finance Manager was very clear on the terms and conditions of the lease. He made sure I purchased additional coverage for gaps that my personal insurance policy leaves me with. He was very knowledgeable and had a lot of integrity. One the day of deliver, they took amble time in showing and explain all the functions of my vehicle. I have referred two other people since, which both bought vehicle from them too. They had the same experience, which shows the consistent superior customer service that Toyota of Lexington offers to customers. I would recommend anyone looking to purchase a Toyota to stop in at Lexington Toyota!!

Bruce and the staff of technicians worked very hard to solve several unrelated and intermittent electrical problems on my truck. It's a '93 model, but in good shape, and I had a difficult time finding someone willing to look at it because of its age.Lexington Toyota diagnosed the problems and fixed everything in a few days. Bruce called me several times as the work progressed to keep me informed and to ask how I wanted to proceed with some of the problems.Everyone I dealt with was helpful and professional, and the work was reasonably priced.

In our search for a 2010 Prius III, we got three quotes on the internet from 3 different dealerships. We asked each dealer for their best price telling each we were working with two other dealers. All three had the exact same info on what we wanted : a 2010 white or blue Prius III with navigation package. Lexington quoted a significantly lower price (even after the other two were given a chance to lower theirs), did not try to add $ for white, and gave us the best pice for our trade. All of this was without the slightest haggling. The sales manager, salesman, and the financial person did not wiggle on the price or try to sell us anything extra. They were businesslike, informal and pleasant. Rick Cramer, our salesman, was good natured, knowledgeable, and very helpful. We could not have been more pleased with the whole operation from negotiation to delivery of the car.

I WAS SCAMMED!!! I contacted Lexington Toyota over the internet at night. The next morning recieved a call from Minh Dinh saying the car I was looking for was on there lot. He informed me that if I was interested we could make an appointment to see the car and discuss price. He also had called me telling me how they had not reached there quota for the month and would do a great deal.(I have this saved on my phone)He asked if I would be willing to take the car that day. I said yes if we could come to terms on the price and trade on my car. He said not a problem are you sure you could take it today and I said yes. We made an appointment because he claimed that the appraiser would have to be called in to see my car. We made an appointment for noon time and my daughter and I got everything we needed together to go. While on my way about 15 min. before appointment he called to let me know he needed to step out and Mike would help me. I said ok even though this seemed strainge since we had an appointment. I get there to be told by Mike the car was sold before that day and Minh knew. I was mad since it seemed like I had been lied to. To this day (Minh came back while I was there and never said a word to me. I knew it was him from a photo) one week later that car still shows on there web site and when I questioned this. I was told it just had not been picked up yet. I looked again before writting this. I have not recieved even "I'm sorry" from Minh. More people have told me this was a scam and I do believe them. I have also been told to contact the Better Business Office. I am discussed my time is as valuable as theres and I wasted half a day . Dont go there!By the way they offered me $8000.00 for my trade in and another dealership had already offered me $11,500. and the same price on car just would need to order.I just checked and as of July 9,2010 this mini van is still listed on there web site as available. What a joke!!!!

I've bought/leased about a dozen new cars/trucks in the past 30 years, and have had mixed sales experience. However, I'd have to rate my experience at Lexington Toyota as one of the best auto sales experiences I've ever had. Very friendly, honest, professional, and straightforward staff. I also liked the small and sensible feel of this dealership (as compared to being just another number at a large Herb Chambers type "factory" dealership). I shopped my Tundra on-line (during the March/April Toyota incentives sale) and then by calling a few dealerships. Within an hour I received a very competitive quote from Lexington Toyota. I followed up at the dealership and the sales staff and business manager did their very best to get me into the exact truck I wanted, and at a very fair price. I'd like to especially thank my salesman, Mr. Tony Emmi. I can't recall being treated as professionally and as courteously as Tony treated me. Tony showed great care and thoughtfulness during the entire transaction, and even followed up on his days off to see how I was enjoying the truck, and to see if he could be of further assistance. Moreover, at delivery, Tony even helped me "pair" my iPhone with the truck's Bluetooth feature before leaving the dealership to ensure safe hands-free calling and then called me on the way home to see if it was working. Needles to say I was further impressed with Tony's technical know-how and thoroughness. I very highly recommend Lexington Toyota for new/used auto sales in the greater Boston area. -Chris Walton

What a terrible Toyota dealership! Avoid this place at all costs. I went to have my Prius checked out because the car was swaying all over the road. The dealership discovered the problem was a faulty rear tire (the original Toyota tire that came with the car). This was the last of the original tires because the other three lost their steel belts within the first 20,000 miles of ownership. I informed Susan Parker, the employee who handled my car, that the Bridgestone tires were defective and they had all lost their steel belts and I didn't trust them. She asked if I would like the tires replaced and, since the car was not safe to drive and Lexington Toyata charges 90.00 just to look at the car, I agreed to have the tires changed out.Imagine my surprise when I picked up the car and got it home. As I walked away from the car I noticed the tire looked familiar. Turns out Susan had them put the exact same type of Bridgestone tire back on the car! This, after I had explained to her that I believed these tires to be defective and unsafe. Not to mention the fact that they charged me 155.00 for a tire I could have bought anywhere else for 75.00. What a dishonest bunch. Never again!

I was test driving several different makes/models in the Crossover segment. I finally landed on Toyota after visiting this dealership, based on the car, not the service or experience we had. In fact, upon leaving, I knew that I was buying the car and that I was not buying it from here. Our experience started by walking into the "showroom" and waiting for about 5 minutes before anyone asked if we needed assistance. Our "salesman" was eating at his desk ignoring us until the manager brought us over. He started by trashtalking other brands I had been shopping. Then he gave us a less than precise description of the RAV4 where everything was "I think," or "I'm not sure." Not once did I feel confident that this guy knew what he was talking about. The pricing process was absolutely shocking. This guy gave us MSRP, and then marked it up by $500 for the "dealer fee." Granted we weren't trying to negotiate down, he must have had no respect for us as consumers to think we would pay above MSRP. I really believe he was inflating his own commission. Needless to say I went to several other dealerships and ended up buying a new 2010 RAV4 Limited with all the options, leather seating, sun roof, blue tooth, back up camera, after a sucessful experience with another dealer. My monthly payment on the luxury model is the same that this dealership gave me on the Sport. It goes to show the value in shopping around.

I was looking for a used car. I drove by Lexington Toyota and hesitated to stop thinking they would be much to expensive. I stoppped and went in and met Bob Ferguson who was working at his desk. I told him what I was looking for and he took out a list of the used cars he had in stock. He let me take my time in reviewing it and answered all my questions. There was no pressure or typical sales talk in pushing me into anything at all, that I have experienced with other dealers in the past. We looked at a few cars and I made my choice. Bob did not try to push me into anything that I could not afford. He stayed within my price range and worked with me from there. The pickup of the car went just as smooth as the purchasing with other dealers in the office helping out when they needed to. I had a great experience with Lexington Toyota and will go back again to get my next cars. I would recommend this dealer ship and sales consultant Bob Ferguson to everyone.

I have been going to this dealership for the past 3 years. They have always been friendly and efficient. A few days after my last visit, I was leaving town for a 350 mile trip and my low tire pressure light appeared and I filled the 4 tires and the light did not go out. I stopped by the dealership at a very busy time and they squeezed me in and it turned out being my spare. I was on my way in a short time and did not have to concern myself over the long trip. I appreciated their extra effort at a very busy time.

I have always had a good experience with getting my sienna serviced at Lexington Toyota. Scheduling with them is easy, they have an evening drop off option (so I don't have to wait in line in the morning) and they always get back to me quickly and politely to let me know what (if anything) my car needs. Brought my car in for 15,000 mile servicing on a very snowy morning. When I mentioned to Susan that I had been told I could get a ride home, she said that she didn't think they were sending the van out because of the bad weather. So she turned around to check with the service manager and he said he would take the van out and drive me home. And he did. What should have been a 5 minute trip, took over 30 minutes as we crawled the whole way. He remained pleasant and even called back to the service shop to tell them to have my car ready for me earlier than originally promised. He came back and picked me up at the earlier time. At least the worst of the storm was over and we had a quick trip back to the dealership.He was clearly vested in making sure I was a happy customer. I was very impressed.

We have bought 2 other cars from them in the intervening years, one a new one and one used one. I do not deal "hard" for the lowest price as I believe you get what you pay for, and with Lexigton it has been worth it. Whatever work has been needed to be done, has always been done well. The service department always calls us with questions or explains what other work may be needed. They were very patient with me when I was trying to decide between a Camry and a Corolla. I eventually decided on a Corolla. Fortunately there was no pressure to buy, unlike some other dealers I visited. Location was important - it's also the nearest dealer to where I live.

Accomodating, pleasant, informative, really focused on the customer. I have been going there for years. Not thrilled with the pricing but I must admit, when I have had repairs done at other places, the quality of workmanship was not there. There was only a few occasions over the last 15+ years that I was not happy with the way in which a situation was handled but after stating as such, they rectified. I would certainly recommend them highly and plan to purchase my next car there (whenever that might be).

I have had my Toyota Avalon serviced at this dealership for more than 6 years. I am never disappointed. It is easy to schedule an appointment that fits my needs and I am always welcomed by friendly and helpful staff. I am comfortable asking the service department for suggestions regarding replacement parts and when to schedule maintenance. They are happy to spend the time to explain what service needs to be done and answer any questions. I have never had to return to have any repairs "redone". Work is completed within the estimated time which is important to me if I am waiting while the work is being done. I appreciate the discount coupons and "special" prices for maintenance work that are offered frequently.The waiting area is always clean with ample seating, plenty of magazines, coffee, and a television set whose channels can be changed by people waiting for their cars.

The service people at the desk are very friendly and polite to the customer. They explained what might be wrong, and what the cost would be. They gave me a ride to work and a pick-up the next day when my car was ready. I believe they are honest and not trying to sell additional parts/services when they are not needed.The only suggestion I would have is that they keep more parts in stock. Each of my last 2 visits required parts not in stock and therefore required an additional day of leaving my car in the shop. But overall, my experience with Lexington Toyota for my 2005 Prius service has been very positive.

I would recommend this dealership because they make everything so easy and pleasant - from buying a car, to coming in for advice, to service. All their employees go the extra yard to make you feel comfortable. Also, I have always believed that they know what they were doing. When I had trouble getting good mileage with my new Prius, one of the salesman went out with me and showed me how to drive so my mileage would increase. They always have time for the customer.

Michael Boucher saved me $1000 down and matched all the incentives of all the local dealers. Not only did he save me money, but he was very friendly and sincere. I would refer all my friends and family to them. Stephen Bova the Financial manager was also very friendly and gave me a great deal on Lo-Jack. By adding Lo-Jack to my car he also saved me 20% on my insurance. If all the dealership were like the staff at Lexington Toyota, buying a car wouldn't be a nightmare. They really made my car purchase experience a dream and I would definitely purchase another car from them after my lease is done.

They have never promised a service to be completed by one time, and then made me wait hours until it was actually complete. When I traded in a 10 year old Tacoma for my current Highlander, the sales staff was straight forward and we had none of the stereotypical run around with the sale or trade in.

Lexington Toyota service department is always courtious and gets the work done faster than expected. I dropped th car off at 8am and had the car back before noon. Ths was simple oilchange and tire rotation along with the 5K service but most dealers would hold onto the car until 5pm.

Mike Boucher is the internet sales rep at Lexington. We were very happy with the service he provided: aside from giving us the best price around (we checked all the local dealers and no one else would beat it), he didn't pressure us by asking us to give a deposit to "hold" the price like other dealerships did, didn't try to get us to buy options we didn't want (one other dealer even told us we couldn't buy the car without those so-called "options"!). He was very laid back and friendly. There were no hidden fees, no bait and switch, no pretending to have to run everything by a manager or other salesman tricks- he was very straight up and a pleasure to deal with.

I always go to Toyota Lexington for all services needed in our car which is already 12 years old. The reason why we go there is that they always have great service and you don't feel that you will be cheated. They always call and give you explanation of what will be done and approximate price for the job before they do the service. Coupons are GREAT for small & big jobs. Found a convenient appointment very quickly. Service team was very forthright in their assessment, giving clear explanations for the work suggested. When the job turned out to be more time consuming than originally planned (I have an older car, a tune up is never just a tune up and one part was not available until the next day), they quickly arranged a loaner car for the duration of the repair work. I have, on earlier visits, even been taken back to meet the technician and to have a face to face demonstration of the problem/solution. Christina was very patient and I would definitely work with her, and Toyota, again.

Overall I have not had too much interaction with my car dealer. I was extremely disappointed that they did not honor a recall for my alternator. The discount they gave was minimal when the part should have been replaced straight out. I bought this car so I would not have to put a 900 dollar part in it two years later. I thought they could have done more to bring the price down to just service.

My experience was excellent. I called to make an appointment, was told was to expect, arrived and the sales person remembered me and was very friendly. THe check in process was easy and the service was done very rapidly. My invoice was reviewed with me and my questions answered. The only area where my experience was not superb was on price - Lexington Toyota service is more expensive than the other area Toyota dealerships I have used in the past. I had a 5k service done. They were open promptly (even a few minutes early) at 8 am on a Saturday morning and turned the car around fast before 9:30 am. There was a special on the service so that made it even nicer. Bruce was very friendly and got me in & out quickly. The location is right next to the Minuteman bike path so that makes it very convenient to leave the car & return by bike or foot.

My car Toyota corolla 2005, had engine light on. I brought it to a garage twice, spent $800 on it. The light kept come back in the very next day. So I brought it to Lexington Tokyota at 8:00 am without an appointment. They kindly acceptted my request and investigated my car in half hour or so, and figured out it was computer's problem. They replaced it with temission warrenty without any charge! Very honest! Very professional.

My family has been going to this Toyota dealer for years and I think the reason is that they take care of the cars well. We trust their service department to find any problems with the car and fix them.I myself have not been able to go there consistently due to a lot of moving. On my most recent visit, I had a pleasant time as my wait time was shorter than I was told. The wait room was comfortable, with coffee and wireless internet!

Susan first made a convenient appointment for me and make arrangements for a rental car since this was a major service and my RAV4 would be in the shop most of the day. During the visit it was determined that I needed four new tires. Susan and the staff provided me with a couple of choices and assisted me in make the best tire selection for the car and my budget. At the end of the day, they work hard to apply a number of Toyota coupons and another discount in order to get me the best price possible for the work. Lexington Toyota has excellent service advisers familiar with customers auto service problems and the service providers are able to provide the proper information for the service mechanic to resolve. The cost of service is always explained in detail. Should other auto problems be identified during the service repair, the service advisor will call the customer and explain in detail the problem and any additional cost of service.When I pick up my auto the problem is always resolved the first time, Great service mechanics. Plus my auto is returned clean. The cost of service is good and reasonable. What's important to me is for the service organization to resolve my problem the first time without return service on the same or similar problem. Lexington Toyota always resolves the service problem the first time.Bruce is a very knowledge service advisor of the Toyota models which allows him to communicate with the customers on their problems and accurately estimated cost of the repairs. Bruce also provides follow up with the customer, and calls when the auto service is completed.

From the moment I call for an appointment, the staff treats me like a VIP customer. Christina helped me today. She is professional and is so personable. As well as the check-up, my car needed front breaks,(my husband has been hounding me to have the breaks checked) and new windshield wipers. When I dropped the car off I forgot to mention the breaks and wipers to Christina. She called later and told me that the service technician recommended these additional services and gave me a price. When I picked up the car, it rode beautifully. I really did need breaks and wipers! Great customer service and workmanship. If I wait for my car, the waiting room is very pleasant and if I need a ride, transportation is available for me. Lexington Toyota is the place to go.

The folks at Lexington Toyota were extremely responsive to my online and telephone requests for information on a new car. By the end of the day, we had established that they could acquire the car we wanted, and had us in to the dealership promptly to complete paperwork when we got our trade-in inspected. I purchased a new Avalon and was very pleased with the sales experience. Unlike a large dealership in Norwood (Boch) and Danvers (Ira) that wasted my time with having to speak with too many salesmen at Lexington Toyota I dealt with one salesman (Bob Fergason) and in very short order concluded a deal that I felt was fair to all parties. Apon taking delivery of the car the salesman went above and beyond to explain all of the features of the car. I was really impressed that he took the time to make sure I understood how the car operated. Lexington Toyota was recommended to me back in 1993 when in the market for a new car. I bought my Camry with them then and ten years later bought my Rav4 from them. I always bring my car to them for service or repairs and have always been treated very well. The customer service is great! They listen carefully to my service questions and explain details in terms even I can understand. I feel the work estimates are fair and reasonable. I feel they are honest in recommendations for additional service and I trust those recommendations. My next car will certainly be purchased from Lexington Toyota.

Price included a labor overcharge of 15 minutes. I brought this to Bruce's attention and he sloughed this off as "consideration" for my bringing the car in for an evaluation 2 days earlier. I only needed a cable leading to the hood replaced. How does that require a 15 minute evaluation? Since when does any dealer charge separately for an evaluation when the customer says that I would like the dealer to repair my car. The part had to be ordered. It arrived 2 days later. How about my extra time to come back? It was just an excuse to bill me for 3 solid hours of labor without any thought. The estimate for this job is 2 to 3 hours - not a flat rate of 3 hours. I wasn't about to argue with Bruce at the time. But I brought my car to Lexington Toyota to test out the service department because I am in the market for a new car. I learnt that when charges are involved, customer service and friendliness do not mean a whole lot.TOCS225200 Invoice Number.

I had a problem with my new 2009 Toyota Corolla. When I called the Service Dept., Chris was personable and helpful, and told me I could leave my car the following day. The folowing day, I received a call at work at 8:30am - and was told that the problem would be covered under warranty, but that they had to order the part. Chris also advised that I not drive the car until it was fixed for safety reasons. I asked if my car would be ready by the following day at 3:00pm and was told that they would do their best to have the car ready by then.I received a call the next day at 10:00am that the car was ready. Chris was helpful, and made sure that my car was ready not only when promised but sooner than I had asked.This is not my first experience with Lexington Toyota, but I have not been there for a while and I was impressed by the courtesy and professionalism of the staff.

I've been taking my Prius to this dealership for 5 years for scheduled maintenance and state inspections. On every occastion, the staff is courteous and friendly, the scheduling is accommodating, and the service is almost always even quicker than promised. I appreciate the availability of onsite rentals and was happily surprised to learn that they're complimentary with major maintenance appointments. I feel that I can trust them to make maintenance recommendations that are really necessary and not just expensive add-ons.

On october 15, 2009 my wife presented herself at the dealership at 7:30am. She was promptly processed and into the service area shortly after 8:00am when they opened the service bays. They promptly changed the oil and filter and installed two new red number plates. They also cleaned paint from the number plate lights which would have prevented the receipt of our inspection sticker which they also provided. After all this was done they promptly processed the bill and she was on her way and at home before 10 am

service is good, I was told that change oil I have to wait for one hour to one hour and a half, the service people are very nice and explain what was the problem with the tires and what it need to be done in the near future, and I was told that the fronts are need to change when I have my car service the next 5000 miles service.

Very friendly, very responsible, and quick service: in at 7:15am, out at 8:30 for a 20,000 mile check. Only problem: no room to park, a tiny waiting room trapped with a loud television. Better to give nice music and dump the tv; or make a waiting room area for people to escape to. They need a new facility. This Lexington location is perfect for me, but it's a squeeze.

Got a screw imbedded in my 2 week old Corolla. They took me right away and solved my problem. The service department was very courteous, patched my tire and, reinstalled the tire sensors and sent my on my way worryfree. The charge was reasonable, although I was disappointed in the tire manufacturer for my getting a flat on a tire that was 1 week old.

Everyone in the service office did their job satisfactorily. Service adviser Susan called to explain service problem. Faulty sensor replaced under warranty. Wiper motor had to be ordered so Susan suggested leaving vehicle over night and doing repair early next AM which saved us a trip. I feel labor rates are high, but maybe are in line with others in area.

Have been servicing my car with a private mechanic, but he's not likely as thorough as a dealer, so I brought my car to Lexington Toyota for a 30,000 mile checkup. The dealership explained what needed to be fixed, and the relative importance of the items. They were communicative and friendly. My mechanic is a bit cheaper, but it's still helpful to pay a little more for the dealer's focused experience and procedures.

I have three Toyotas because the product is very reliable and I can get great local service. I love being able to get my service work done on Saturdays. I find the service people to be very friendly and knowledgeable. When I have had the need for unprogrammed service, warning light indicator, they have helped me promptly. They don't use any of the scare tactics that I have experienced, especially at tire dealers, to get you to do more work. You pay dealer rates but you get dealer expertise, parts, electronic analysis, etc. If they sold Hondas or Fords, likely I'd have Hondas or Fords.

My review is difficult since I was a returning customer to Lexington Toyota. We bought a 2004 Highlander there and wanted to buy either 2009 Camry, or a 2010 model.We went on Memorial Day weekend (the monday I believe). When we entered the dealership no one approached us. We were looking at the car in the center of the room and then we approached a salesman who was leaning against a cubicle. My husband told him that we "love you guys, we're returning customers." This resulted in absolutely no reaction from the salesman...none whatsoever! We asked about current '09 stock to which we got "almost nothing left". He waffled between us and his desk and another salesman (there was one other customer there who was being helped by another salesman...so the place wasn't busy). He just was so bland, not helpful and just plain rude by not focusing on what we were asking him.Needless to say we left. We were absolutely prepared to buy that day. We thought about trying another visit, but were so put off by this horrible experience that we didn't go back. We ended up going to Woburn Toyota and bought a 2010 Camry XLE with leather interior and moonroof on July 6th.

I had an absolutely abysmal experience at Lexington Toyota. A sales associate and I started price discussions for a 2010 Camry over email, which led to an agreement on price over the phone. When I arrived at the dealership to purchase the vehicle, I had to work with another salesperson (Bob F.) because the original associate was not there (my fault since I went in without receiving a reply to confirm the time).In any case, Mr. F said he would be willing to help me close the deal, but when I brought up the price agreed upon by the other sales associate, his already mediocre demeanor took an abrupt nosedive. After checking with the "manager," Mr. F returned and came very close to accusing me of lying and making the price up. He presented me with a sheet with two columns of numbers: MSRP and invoice. Under each column was an itemized list of charges, leading to the totals at the bottom. Of special note was an item labeled "Dealer Holdback." Having done quite a bit of online research already, and wanting to find out how all the items totaled up, I asked Mr. F why I was being charged the dealer holdback when that is usually something Toyota pays the dealer. (In the case of Toyota, it should be 2% of the base MSRP.) The question resulted in a scowl and dirty look from Mr. F, then a loud, "Do you expect us to sell you a car without making any money?! I don't know where you got your price, but it doesn't make any sense. You are not going to find a dealer who will sell you a car for that."Shocked by his attitude and words, I thanked Mr. F and walked out.While still in Lexington Toyota's parking lot, I phoned another dealership with whom I was also negotiating with. (The pricing was the same, but I chose Lexington Toyota first because of the proximity to my home.)Within 30-45 minutes, I made it to a Toyota dealership in West Roxbury and closed the deal with them instead. The difference in professionalism and attitude between the two dealerships was night and day.

I went to around 5 or 6 dealerships in my area. Lexington Toyota, Woburn Toyota, Acton Toyota, Boch and Herb Chambers. Out of all of those Lexington Toyota was the only dealership that actually cared.3 of the other dealerships quoted me a price lower then Lexington Toyota but when I got to the showroom, they said that car has been sold and that I would have to now pay much more the originally quoted. Not even close to my idea of good service.I also service my vehicle with Lexington Toyota and have always been treated with complete honesty and respect. I feel like if you tell them the problem, they immediately adress it, confirm it and then fix it. There was one time that it had traken longer then expected to have the work done on my vehicle and without question, they offered to give me a rental vehicle as well as cover the extras cost it would take.I recommend this dealer without a doubt and would never ever take my vehicle to another Toyota dealership.

Orriginally bought my 2003 Corolla from another dealer because they gave me a bigger price. After about one week the molding between the stereo and the top of the dashboard began to come apart and I brought it to lexington toyota to have it fixed because it was still (barely) under warranty. They took it and called me later that week to tell me that it was fixed and ready to be picked up. I picked it up after hours only to find that not only was it not fixed but there were now scratches all over the dashboard and stereo molding where they attempted to do something. I told them that this was unacceptable and when they saw it told me they would have to get their upholstery specialist to take a look at it. They jerked me around long enough waiting for this guy that the warranty on my car finally expired. At that point I just let it be saying whatever it's cosmetic and they beat me at their game, too bad for me. Unfortunately their location was very convenient for me and I brought it in for an oil change. For whatever reason they removed the engine cowl but neglected to put the fastener covers back on re installation. Once again, whatever its cosmetic, my fault for bringing it back, and I suppose better than driving 10 miles to the next dealer.The Third (major) and final visit for this car led to what I believe to be a danger to my, and other drivers safety. They were to replace one of my wheels and re balance and re align all 4 wheels. I brought the car on the highway to find that it would vibrate enough that it was uncomfortable to hold the steering wheel. They fixed it promptly and without complaint, but it is unacceptable that they didn't test drive it first.I should point out that of the 4 toyotas my family has gone through, we have only bought the first from lexington, and coincidentally that was the only one they never screwed up. So if your willing to pay more than you would at all the other area dealers, buy it there and they might treat you well. But they absolutely know if you bought it from them (even if you don't have the dealer sticker on the car) and they will bend you over if you didn't.I recommend Woburn for service and Boch for sales.

I dealt with Scott, the Internet Sales person. I did all my searching and shopping online and over the phone. I had no car prior to this, so I was banking on getting most things done before trying to get my friend to give me a ride to the dealership.Scott was a relatively low pressure guy. I told him exactly what I was looking for and he and his team were able to find the car I wanted. (Other dealers offered me cars I didn't want or simply said it was impossible to get and I'd have to wait). So I was impressed that they found the Prius I wanted so quickly.After a few negotiations, we locked the price in (which beat both Edmonds and KBB). When I went into the dealership, I met the finance person, Barbara. She sounds nice over the phone, but when I sat down with her, it was a different experience. As I'm sure every dealership does, she tried to sell me the options and extended warranty. I refused all of them except this thing called ResistAll. Not knowing what it was, I did some research on it and decided I did not want to get it.What irritated me about Barbara was the fact that she lied about the theft rates for Priuses (20 stolen in 2004, over 40,000 mfg - latest data found online). My insurance company confirmed it. Because of that, I refused to buy any packages or the ResistAll product (aka insurance). She also did not provide any significant literature about the product.The car was delivered as promised and I very much enjoyed working with Scott. The first time I met him, my girlfriend drove me there. The day I picked up the car, Scott picked me up from a local T stop where we agreed to meet. That was very much appreciated.After the sale (during the holidays, nonetheless) he called me to or three times to make sure I had put some miles on it and asked if I had any questions or issues.Except for dealing with Barbara (who is not in sales), the entire experience was very pleasant and low-pressure. I would buy from them again if I wanted another car that they sold.

I would recommend Lexington Toyota because they were a relatively low pressure, straightforward dealership. We went in with a specific certified, used Toyota in mind, which we found on the website, test drove it, and then negotiated a price. Overall the internet price seemed good compared to the Edmunds.com TMV price. The car itself was in great shape for a nearly 3 year old car, partly because it had been well taken care of, but also because the dealership did a good job sprucing it up for sale. Nick was very friendly throughout the process, and the negotiation was not contentious at all, and the delivery was very painless. Nick did a great job explaining things in the car to us before we drove it off. The only issue was he claimed they cannot negotiate the price down from what is posted on the website, but then when pressed on it he did end up negotiating the price down by 700 dollars and agreed to perform 400 in cosmetic fixes to the car. So don't be afraid to negotiate, especially on used cars. They may say the demand for Toyota's is such that the cars sell themselves, but the supply is also very high, so you can always find a similar car at a different dealership.

I just had an unpleasant experience shopping for a car at this dealership. I test drove a car that I was very interested in, and I wanted to talk price. Salesperson was very rude, refused to give me a price, and lectured me about how he thought I was just going to use the price to negotiate with another dealer. This was not actually true, I was prepared to buy from this person, but he lost my sale due to his rude treatment of me.
