Lithia in Wasilla continues to provide great customer service. I have a lifetime oil change. They're able to schedule me and get me in on the same weekend. The only reason why they got 4 stars instead of 5 is the fact that repairs other than an oil change are harder to schedule. They often do not have a technician available on the weekend that is qualified. Example: Most recent visit could only get in to do oil & tire change over, but scheduled to do a 50,000-mile overhaul. Since technician was not available, I had to schedule a separate visit to do the rest of my maintenance.

Buying process took way to long had to wait for vehicle to be brought out from anchorage an had to agree on buying it before they would bring it out. At the dealership from 10 am till 6:30 pm an didn't even get to test drive this car before buying it.

This was my first time at a Dodge dealer with my recently purchased used truck, a 2008 RAM 2500 Diesel. A overdue oil change and a service recall, combined with a warning message on the overhead console had me get in contact with the closest dealership, 75miles from home.I was able to drive to town due to a weather change, which affects my required need to stay close to my home base throughout the summer.A phone call to the dealer, explaining the unscheduled request, was accommodated without any problems.This dealer facility stands out visually, in terms of cleanness, set-up, space, a very open, inviting store front, plenty of inviting space to wait, no closed in corners - simply a fantastic architectural design solution.Not only was the extreme short notice of my service request, but also the speed and quality of service being done, outstanding.When it comes to car dealer ships, I have mostly associated keywords such as 'overpriced', 'appointments only', 'rather rude', 'unnecessary repairs' and 'overpriced' with them.Given my experience with the Lithia Dodge Ram dealer ship, not only do I NOT associate those words with it, but rather the exact opposite, and would even be willing to pay slightly more than the average chain oil/lube stores around.A big THANK YOU to the staff at Lithia, to make this a great experience and definitely continue to service my truck there for the near and far future.Sincerely,Andreas Hermansky

I live in a rural part of Alaska and travel south when I need services or parts that are not available in my home community. I continue to receive excellent service from all aspects of Lithia Auto Stores in Wasilla, be that service, parts, sales, etc. The sales rep has continued to make himself available to me for requests and questions after the sale was made, and even worked on his days off so that the car would be ready for me to drive safely back to my community on a short time frame. I believe the staff of this dealership is very tuned into the needs of the customer. As someone who lives in rural Alaska I especially appreciate this.

After visiting other dealerships in the Wasilla and Anchorage area we went to the Lithia dealer in Wasilla. We arrived at the Lithia dealer about 30 minutes before closing. We were greeted by the salesman who was very friendly and accommodating. We explained what type of vehicle we were looking for and the options that we wanted. The salesman promptly escorted us to a line of vehicles and selected a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk that he believed had all the options. We test drove the vehicle, returned to the dealership and began the purchase process. The salesman, the sales manager and the finance manager were very helpful and made this one of the easiest and pleasant vehicle purchases that we have experienced. We did not finish the sale until after midnight, four hours after the store closed. But, no one ever mentioned the time or suggested that we should return at a later time. We were very impressed by the professionalism of the sales and finance staff. The store is fairly new; it was a pleasant building to look at and be in. It was clean and lacked clutter; very well layed out and maintained.

The people in the service bay were very nice. We went in for our oil change like we do every 3 months, I am glad that I did not have my kids with me this time, because it took a while. From the time that my appointment was until I paid was about 1:20. They did what they were supposed to and had a smile on their face. They were not horsing around, they were just pretty busy that day, so it is not a big deal. I would recommend them in the future.

Update to earlier comments:In Late June I took my car in for replacing left front cv boot under the used car warranty. They not only replaced the inner and outer boot on the left, they also replaced the same on the right. They also ordered the drive shaft. While they did the repairs their courtesy van gave me a lift home and back. This apparently is a popular part and had to be ordered from outside supplier.The wait on the part is to be expected.I am very happy with their service.Norm

This was a recall. I was put on a waiting list for repair months. After many months of waiting I called the dealer and was told that now there was no problem with getting parts and an appointment was made for the next week.I would have felt better about the situation if I had been called and told that parts were available and I could have my pick-up fixed. After waiting months I had to follow up to get the necessary repairs.

Purchased 3 vehicles within a few months. Ordered one, and purchased the other 2 in State. Randy Richards was there to answer my every question, by phone and text. He was extremely knowledgeable about his inventory and products. He also kept us updated on the truck we custom ordered from start to finish. He stands by his customers, and truly has their best interest at heart. Not your normal Salesman! Your relationship with Randy doesnt stop after the papers are signed. Hes a good man! I marked the facilities down due to parking. I parked to the right as you come out the front door and cars were parked next to me when I went to leave and I had to struggle to get it off the spot. Very tight spot. The spots could be angled or put smaller cars behind those parking spots.

The initial experience was not good. After several trips to the service dept, I spoke with the general manager of the facility. I made him aware of the issues and he saw to it that the issue was corrected. He even came to my home to pick up my jeep. When the repairs were complete, he had it delivered to my home. He provided a loaner until the repairs were complete. I wish I had spoken with him sooner. This is a new dealership. I understand that there have been some staffing issues in the shop.

I was met at the front door of the service department by a friendly greeter and directed to parking, this was a pleasant surprise, as I am used to needing to find the service area in most dealerships. All the personnel were friendly and attentive. I asked if they could accomplish additional service on my vehicle that was not on the original schedule for this day and time. They accommodated me and were very courteous and accomplished the additional work with little additional wait time or hassle. Over all it was a very positive experience.

The service provided for my Jeep Wrangler was outstanding! The Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Wasilla scheduled and performed the warranty work in a most pleasant and professional manner. When I called by phone the response was positive and helpful. When driving up to the service door a most polite administrator just happened to be there and escorted me graciously through the modern auto entry in to the covered parking area and then introduced me to the service folks at the desks. My situation required unusual paper coordination due to the fact that two other Dodge agencies (in Anchorage) had not been able to arrange the repair and had left a confusing paper trail with misleading entries in the record. Lithia Wasilla personnel sorted the whole, confusing situation out, took my Jeep in and kept me posted on repair progress. All was accomplished on time and as stated by the service people. Yes, Lithia Chrysler etc. in Wasilla has demonstrated outstanding service for my Jeep. I will have my 1996 Dodge Ram 350 serviced in this most welcome addition to the repair and sales opportunities in the Matanuska-Susitna Valley area.

Tranny issues on new truck (18,000 miles). Appointment was at 7 am on a Wednesday, they finally got the truck in on Friday. Tech was not certified to work on truck so no work done on it until following Friday. Truck now in 1 week 2 days. Tech showed me parts that had failed in tranny due to poor workmanship in factory. Part list generated. Truck down for second weekend. Lady that works in Warranty not in on Monday so nothing could be ordered. Called Wednesday morning and told parts were ordered, should arrive 5-7 days. Three weeks in shop already, heading for third weekend lost without my new truck. No loaner, or replacement vehicle offered. Do not get calls back from service department even with multiple messages left. Have to stop in to get updates. Could not rate quality of work since no work has been done in three weeks. Might have a review of the work next month if I get the truck back by then. Also, who knows on price. It should be under warranty, but I am sure something will come up. Price of this service should be them paying me to stay a customer.
