I bought 2015 Nissan Rogue last night and had a very positive buying experience, thanks to Chris Stelljes. I have been looking for a new vehicle for a couple of months and I had not had any previous luck finding a vehicle or dealing with sales associates at other dealerships. Most of the dealers I had dealt with at other Dealerships were pushing and prying that was not the case w/ Chris. Chris's relaxed and honest approach minimized my own personal stress about buying and made for a very enjoyable experience. He did great job of asking the right and appropriate questions as well as making the process of buying a new vehicle fun ( I had previously felt buying a vehicle was an overwhelming/daunting task). I walked into KIA Dealership yesterday to look at Nissan Rogue and my positive sales experience w/ Chris had me happily leaving with a new to me Nissan Rogue. So thanks to Chris for making my purchase of a new to me vehicle great!

I have many positive words to say about this dealership. This is probably my 4th car I have purchased in my life time and have never had such an amazing experience. I contacted Cheri through an inquiry on a Kia Sorento and a couple of days later drove the 2 hours to do some test driving. After seeing the vehicle (which they had TONS and plenty to choose from) we decided that the Sorento would not work for our family of 9 (only needed seating for 7 though). So we looked at the Kia Sedona and really liked it, except they only had a couple used models on hand and we weren't thrilled with the camel beige interior. We discussed with Cheri what we needed (seating, features, etc) and the price range we could afford. She told us that her manager was going to be buying some more the following day and she would get a hold of us. She stuck to her word and the next day informed me that three more models would be available on Monday. She came through with flying colors though because shortly after that she was able to contact me and inform me that they could get me a 2016 model within our budget. I chatted online with her and got more details and Saturday afternoon we were back up at the dealership deciding which color to choose. They were a little busier on Saturdays so we had a longer wait to complete everything (total time from when we got there to leaving was almost 4 hours but we did take a little while deciding on the color we wanted from our choices on the lot). Cheri was so pleasant and helpful and personable! She is a GREAT salesperson and I would definitely purchase from her again. Chad did a very quick and thorough job at getting our finance papers completed and helped us close out on our new KIA. Absolutely loving my new KIA so far and am glad we went to Kia of Bloomington!!

Service in the parts department sucked.... Waited over 30 minutes for two keys to be made while a truck with bottled water shows up after I was in the parts showroom and 8-10 people help to unload the truck while I sat waiting for service.... Cashier was not helpful at all....

I just leased a 2016 Forte5 LX from Luther Kia Bloomington. They gave me an excellent deal on turning in my 2013 Rio5 off lease 3 months early and putting me into the Forte5 for lower monthly payments, after an insurance reduction, than on my Rio5 (which I also leased from this dealership). Overall it was possibly the smoothest new-car transaction I've ever had at a dealership. My sales rep Chris Stelljes was helpful and professional in all respects. After some preliminary phone calls with Chris, the entire transaction took less than 3 hours, and that included Chris and I meeting at a sister dealership to test drive the car and return it to Bloomington Kia for the paperwork and delivery. I am very happy with my new Forte5 and my experience at Luther Bloomington Kia.

I came in to get a "quote" on a 2016 Optima, not thinking I would leave with a new car. Cheri Brotemarkle came over and introduced herself to me right away and I immediately felt trust and reassurance she would be able to give me what I came for. She was so friendly and pleasant and gave me all of the information (and more) about my current lease and what options Luther KIA could do for me. She was not pushy at all to sell me a car. Before I drove my new Optima off the lot, she made sure to run through all of the safety features and the fun new features the 2016 Optima has so I would be comfortable driving it before I left. She truly is a "top notch" sales person and I highly recommend her!! Thank you Cheri!

I have never been treated this well! It took 5 minutes to get my price which was so low I didn't think it was possible. Then they got me a great price on the accessories and offered to ship out what wasn't in stock. Next they went out of their way to help me get the car home. Mike was just great and everyone I met was sincere and friendly. Simply put, this is the ONLY place to get a Kia. These days, this amount of quality customer care is amazing. Oh, and by the way, the Soul is way better than I ever expected. At my age, I can even live with the Hamsters.

Brought my car in as the heated seat was not working and also asked for the recall on then vehicle be completed. I needed to leave my vehicle but they did offer a shuttle service which was great. Andy in service called me to go over a few other things they had found and I agreed to have some of the items done and others I stated I would do myself. Love that there was no pressure. Andy recommended that I should have two of the tires replaced and I told him i usually go to a discount tire place but he said that Luther would match their pricing. We went to the competitors website together and I selected the tires I wanted with his recommendation (which was not the higher priced tire I was looking at). Again...love that they do not pressure you to spend more then you want or need to. Love Luther and will buy my next car from them for sure...but that won't be for awhile since I love the car I have now ;)

I purchased a Kia Optima Hybrid and only have 6,000 miles on. Was having problems with A/C, talked to another dealership as the one I purchased from no longer carries Kia. I brought my Sportage in as I was hearing a 'thumping' noise on the rear passenger side yet no dash lights were illuminated. It sounded like a flat tire. I didn't have a flat tire and couldn't see anything else amiss. Brandon and his team were very thorough, driving it at different speeds to try to hear the noise; checked the tires, brakes, shocks, etc. and found nothing. Of course, my Sportage was afraid so clammed up! Ha! Anyway, Brandon indicated that a note was made in the record of this issue and said if I hear it again to stop by - any time. I utilized the shuttle service - both drivers Lloyd and Calvin - were wonderful, safe drivers and very engaging during the ride. What a marvelous team! Thank you!

Thankfully, Chad noticed me looking at brochures for the 2015 Kia Soul. I knew I should have gotten that car in the first place, but fell in love with the Optima when I drove it back in 2013. I thought downsizing from a mini-van to an Optima was great, but it was still more car (and payment) than I needed. Matt got me into a brand new vehicle and was able to get me a great trade-in value for my Optima! I was so impressed with the process and will definitely work with them again in the future! Thanks!

Purchased my 2013 KIA Sportage at a dealer that stopped selling KIAs last fall. Noticed the spoiler was cracked after I did the first detailed wash and cleaning of the year [had to get that winter salt off!!]. Took it to Luther KIA in Bloomington after making an appt online. Brandon checked with Parts and they don't carry spoilers as an in-stock item. He said it'd be about a week before it was in and would give me a call. As it turned out, I rec'd a call today - they found a spoiler and sent it to paint over the weekend and when could I come in to have it replaced? Early this afternoon they had an opening! I drove it over, and they replaced the cracked spoiler in an hour while I waited! Brandon is truly curtious and informative, very polite and efficient! The spoiler was under warranty, so no charge. Thank you for making this process painless! I totally recommend this dealership!

This week was the first time I have ever bought a new car. Yes, lots of used over the years but, because I had a upside down loan on a car which blew up on the way to work I had to add a huge chunk onto the loan for a new car. The folks I worked with at Luther Kia were awesome. I worked with Mark, who always has a smile for you. Chad and Don were also awesome. They explained all the paperwork. No, Chad you don't have to send the Title police after me (JK) The first thing I noticed when I walked into the dealership was all the activity and the smiling faces of customers and sales people. That gives you a boost of confidence immediately. Over all it was a great experience and I would HIGHLY recommend to friends and family Luther Bloomington Kia is a great place to purchase their vehicle. I would go back to Luther Kia Bloomington without hesitation.

I sent my financing in online last week. Don got back to me right away and set an appointment via email. He did not call me a million times before he found out what he could do for financing like other places I have dealt with in the past (So annoying). My husband and I met at the dealership after work. We test drove a couple used cars that I saw online with Mike while Don got the financing in order. Mike was friendly and on top of it, he offered me coffee right away and warmed up the cars before we took them out. After going over all of my options Don and Mike got me in to a BRAND NEW car for less than what a used car would be. Walking in to the dealership I never expected to be going home in something new. With what you get for the price I couldn't pass up the design of the Optima. Jerry handled the financing and even though he was crazy busy that night, he took his time with us explaining everything to us. He made us feel comfortable and welcome. Mike warmed up the car for us while we were in with Jerry and even came outside in the freezing cold to explain every button and function of the car before I drove away. By this time, the dealership was closed but everyone stayed to make sure we were taken care of. We never felt rushed or pressured. I will definitely be back to this dealership when I am ready for my next car. Thank you Matt Don and Jerry for outstanding service.

Wonderful experience purchasing my vehicle here. I had my previous vehicle for 15 whole years and was very anxious/scared about the type of experience I might have purchasing a new vehicle. Also, my budget didn't quite allow for a new vehicle and a large car payment. Leased my car in August and have been very happy ever since. Even before going into the dealership, I was able to email with John Amos regarding exactly I wanted in a car. I got a call in the morning of the day that I was set to get my car. The specific car that I was going to get hadn't made it to the dealership due to some bad weather. I decided I would still go in and sign the papers and such. Well, John picked me up since I had no other way to get to the dealership and came down the road in the car I wanted! He searched and found out that their sister dealership had the same vehicle. I really appreciated the extra effort that he put into getting me my car. I was able to sign the papers and take the car home the same day! It was great. It is my first car and I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of or pushed around like I had experienced the previous week when my parents were shopping for a new car. Today I took my car to get the oil changed. Nate helped me and was friendly and helpful from the beginning. Since it was my first oil change, it was free. I expected this to literally only cover the oil and filter change. Nope! As soon as I got out of my car they started vacuuming it. When they finished, they told me that they inspected it as well. I went out to my car to leave and to my surprise, it had been washed! I feel like they go the extra mile to take care of their customers. I didn't plan on taking my car to the dealer for future service needs but I am so happy with how I was treated.

We stopped in to see if they would even look at our finances before trying to get approved. They spent 4 hours working with their finance group trying to find away to get us financing when other dealers would not even look at us. We were able to purchase a 3 yr old SUV with under 40K miles when we expected to maybe get a 7+ yr old car with high miles. The whole team there was great and helpful. They answered every question with details and without having to be prompted for more information. The process was painless and easy from our point of view. They even changed the TV channel in the customer lounge for my son to watch Nick Jr. when he got antsy! We are already talking about returning when we are ready for another vehicle in a few years.

Most people are petrified to go to a car dealer. I have heard horror stories from my wife's friends about being taken advantage at dealerships. So recently my wife was in the market for a new car, she had visited and test drove many models. I talked to her about the Kia Optima ( because I was impressed with this model and had read/heard good things about it). Being former BMW/Audi owners this was a big change for us. She went to Luther Bloomington Kia and meet with Brad and Mark. She called me all excited about how well she was treated and really liked the car. Needless to say, she now has a new Optima EX and really loves it. Many may ask why I wasn't to involved in the buying experience? Well, simply I have purchased all our vehicles in the past 27 years of marriage and she wanted to do this on her own. I want to Thank Brad Knutson and Mark Starsky for taken such good care of my wife and making her buying experience a positive experience. My wife and I will be recommending you for sure!

Just picked up my 2013 KIA Soul from the Service Department at Luther KIA in Bloomington. An oil change and tire rotation might be considered routine but I have had some unbelievable nightmares at other service departments. First of all, scheduling was a snap via the internet. I received a reminder by phone and one by e-mail. I dropped my car off and was quoted the price for the work. I picked up my car after work and it had been washed and everything was done perfectly. Polite and knowledgeable Service Writer and courteous cashier. The amount was very reasonable and exactly what was quoted. I checked my oil shortly after arriving home and it is nice and clean and properly filled. What more can you ask from a Service Department than the excellent service I received?

We started our search on line, we decided on a car and I sent a request out to 6 dealerships, I received 3 back. Out of the 3, I was impressed with 2 of them due to the fact they wanted to know what they could do to make our shopping experience easy and what we wanted. I explained our situation and needs and to both dealerships and they responded, accordingly. I explained to them both that we were in no hurry, we liked our current vehicle, and just needed something that would make it easier to haul our sons transport chair around, and that I didn't want any phone calls. We started off looking at a Soul, we were provided with samples of cars and prices along with options, but that is where we lost the other dealership, I asked them both if they would measure to see if our sons transport chair would fit in the back of the Soul. Cheryl from Luther Kia of Bloomington went the extra mile and measured the rear space and told us the Soul would not work for our situation. I was impressed with the fact that she didn't try to sell me the vehicle anyway or fudge the measurements so we would come down anyway, but instead informed me that there might be other options beside the Soul that might work. She asked what we were looking for and she would keep her eyes open for something and would let us know. We told her no SUV's or mini vans. A few days passed and Cheryl sent me an email asking if there was anything more she could help us with. At that time I inquired about the Sorrento and the Sportage even though they were more SUV like my wife felt that these were not as bad as she thought they might be. The first thing she did was measure the back and told me our best option would be the Sorrento. From there it was trying to get down to Bloomington to try one out, weeks went by. In that time we were never pushed or rushed, or told we are loosing out on good deals. I received an email asking if we were coming down so she could have the vehicles ready, never any pressure. Finally we were able to make the trip down. The week leading up to the visit was the only time Cherly called me on the phone, just to confirm our visit. She was very understanding of our situation and said if it didn't work out that was fine. We arrived shortly after lunch, and once we stepped out of the vehicle we were treated like family. The first sales person asked if we were here to see someone, I asked for Cherly and the gentleman walked us into the dealership, another salesman held the door open for my wife, son and I. From there it was the best experience we have had buying a car. We met Cheryl, she talked to us not just about getting the car deal done but just about our trip down, what we are looking for, and getting us a vehicle to try. We took it for a test drive, she was very informative about the model, she had us check to see if the transport chair would fit, and talked about our needs and wants. We finally settled on a color, and then it was time for pricing. When they came back with the price both Cheryl and Dan sat down explained our options and when my wife had the look of confusion and doubt, Cheryl took the time to explain things in female terms to help her understand things better. They both walked away to give us time to talk it over. Once we made our decision, we informed them we wanted to proceed and the rest is history. Everyone that worked with us all the way to the financing were excellent, they made sure we knew everything, showed us everything, and made sure we were comfortable at every step of the transaction, any questions were answered, and they wanted to make sure we were satisfied and happy. Once we were done.with all the paperwork, our new car was brought out front so we could swap thing over, we were given a tutorial on the options and a full tank of gas and away we went. So impressed with everyone involved, how easy it could of been to rush things along so they could get to the next sale. I highly recommend them.

Not only did LBK give me the lowest price, but they had a seemingly nice group of individuals working the night I was there as well. I got a lease on a car for $30-$100/month cheaper than what any of the local comp/co-petitors offered, for a price I was told was impossible. I had a seat heater looked at to fix, but they didn't have the parts and didn't want to order the parts either. Then a couple months later when I was cleaning my car there were screws on the floor under the seat and a black box dangling under the seat. And then when I checked the oil, the weather stripping between the windshield and the hood was half off. Also the fuse box under the hood had broken hinges, so is now just sitting on top, not clipped down by anything except for the hood. I would not come back here. The technicians are careless and cause more damage than they repair. They didn't even fix the problem, just messed up stuff even more. Plus I heard one man make fun of my name because both my first and last name are synonyms for a male body part.

Recently purchased my 2007 Sorento used from a private party. Even though this dealer is nowhere near to convenient or near my house, we have decided to go with oil changes and other recommended dealer maintenance at a Kia dealership. (In the past, we have always used our local service station which is only a couple blocks away, and easy for me to walk home with my 2 young children while the car is serviced). The service tech was able to look over the vehicle during the oil change and let me know if the most recent recommended service needed to be performed or not. They said everything looked great, and nothing else was recommended at this time. I appreciated the honesty, as they easily could have recommended the service in question, which would have been around $350 (per a quote over the phone from a very friendly and funny customer service rep). I was bummed that I missed out on the included car wash- but we were outfitted to leave for cabin, with a cargo carrier on the roof and in the trailer hitch. My only wish- that the very clean and nice waiting area was a little more kid friendly (meaning what, I don't know. Ability to turn on cartoons? Nothing really to fault them for though). I did receive help getting through the doorways with my stroller, infant carrier, and 2 year old, which was great. Will definitely be back!!!

Brandon met me right away before I could get out of the car. He took down some basic information and then notified the shuttle driver, Rick, that I was ready to be taken to my office. I was called by Brandon about 2 hours later and told that the oil change and recall work was completed and just to call back when I was ready to get picked up at work. Knew what car I wanted ahead of time and scheduled an appointment. Took 5.5 hours from time in to time out. Salespeople rotate between multiple desks, helping out 3 customers simultaneously, and tripling each partys time at the dealership. They are located in such a place that they get a lot of customers, so they dont need repeat business. The service department is a whole different mess of its own. While it can be annoying at times, the other dealerships I have purchased from call me every few months or so to check in and see how I am liking my purchase, if theres anything else they can do, and let me know that they are there for me when I am looking for my next vehicle. After my purchase there is no further contact from the sales department at Luther. After the initial sale, the main contact is with the service department about getting my new vehicle repaired every couple months. Not a very pleasurable experience.

This advice goes for all dealerships, but especially for this one. Luther Bloomington Kia definitely cuts corners when re-selling trade-ins, but they make the buyer think they are getting something in great shape, the perfect car in excellent condition. But you must make sure to go through each advertised feature line by line and cross them off after you see them all work. Roll down all the windows and back up again more than once to make sure all the motors work consistently. If it has rained recently, make sure to touch the floor to see if its leaking anywhere. Open the visors and make sure there are mirrors still attached where they should be. Try the wipers on different settings. If you think youve found the car you want, I would recommend having a real mechanic inspect it, even if it costs you. Drive the car a lot in the first few days, because you may want your old car back very soon. If you do have warranty coverage, go someplace else for warrantee repairs because these guys do NOT know what they are doing when it comes to repairing vehicles. The Luther Warranty is bogus. They are under no obligation to fulfill this warranty, and will do everything they can to avoid it. Its mainly a sales tactic to get you in the door. I am very disappointed with my car buying experience here. I would not purchase here again.

I don't even know if they have a full time mechanic on staff. They have a 5 day warranty on all used vehicles, but the warranty is no good if they can't actually fix things. They should just outsource service to a third party shop that is familiar with the operation of motor vehicles. A few of the service staff seem like they might be a little bit slow or mentally handicapped in some way. I would not recommend bringing your car here for service. If you purchase a used vehicle here and have a problem with it, they will of course agree to take a look at it, and even claim to fix something. However, after multiple failures their competency and ability to start a project and finish it to completion is in question. Some repair shops prefer to take their time and thoroughly diagnose a problem so they can resolve the true root of the issue. However, the kids at Luther Kia of Bloomington prefer the shotgun approach where they just start replacing parts until they replace the one that fixes the problem, usually several months and hundreds of dollars later. I would not recommend visiting this dealer, except of course on Saturday mornings. They have free donuts on Saturday mornings. But you have to get there early otherwise the lazy service staff will eat them all. Oh wait, never mind. They don't have service on Saturdays.

They had originally told us to expect an hour, I love when company's can underpromise and overdeliver and Luther Kia Bloomington did, they took under 45 minutes! Also, when I mentioned that I was having issue with my blue tooth and contacts, they took the time to fix it for me even though that was outside the scope of our visit. He was very thorough and knowledgeable on the different trim levels and packages of the car I was looking at. I think I was in there 4 times before i bought my car and even kept Brandon late a couple times, but he in no way showed me that he was frustrated by that. I took my 2011 Sorrento for a oil change they told me I need to change the rear break I told them I would come back next week I schedule the appointment to change the rear breaks, they came back after 30 minutes and told me they made a mistake the breaks looks good and everything looks good, I told them I hear noise as something is caught metal sounds, they told me maybe it was wet not to worry, 2 days later the noise increased I went back and they charge me $900.00 for the wheel bearing replacement, what probably could have been solved with $10 grease job it cost me $900 to replaced it, to make matters even worse the manager apologized and justified the unfortunately "human mistake" and offered me a generous $30 goodwill discount for the inconvenience. I understand their business is to make as much money as possible I get it but even in this level there must be some limits to what they can do. I will continue to share this everyway I can.

Matt at the Luther Kia in Bloomington was an efficient salesman. He identified what we wanted in our car and quickly located the vehicles that matched on the lot. My wife and I worked with salesman Chris, who was down to Earth and real, he wasn't the typical salesman who gives the cliche statements to all questions, and if he didn't know they answer he asked one of the managers, he didn't lie to make it seem he knows everything. That's the kind of honesty I expect when buying a car!!! Everyone reading this review, ask for Chris, you will not be disappointed. Next, we worked with Mike in Finance. Interested in buying a car, made an appointment to test drive on Saturday morning. After driving 40 minutes, they were not at all prepared. At least 10 sales people standing around chatting , our salesman had not even removed the snow from the vehicle. We were left sitting around for 20 minutes and nobody even knew where our salesman went. I would never buy a car from a dealer where the staff does not help each other to sell cars! When we were walking out frustrated there were several "concerned" ( yeah right) salespeople looking out the window.....

I live in Rhode Island and am visiting Jason, my son and daughter-in-law who, like lots of couples with two little kids, work during the day. To help them out I brought in their KIA to have a broken right mirror replaced. As an out of state person I was really impressed with the courteous, prompt service I received. To sum it up: From the minute I initially spoke w/ Shari Borlaug over the phone regarding my potential interest of coming in for a test drive (after submitting a 'test drive' request online the night before - she called me right away the next day), to entering the dealership, to my final 'good-bye' to Jon Krivo -my Sales Consultant- when I left the dealership about a week later in my brand new shiny car, it was a great experience for me -- more than I could have asked for... I had the first oil change service on the 2nd KIA Soul that we purchased at Luther KIA of Bloomington. Brandon, the Service Writer, was very polite and professional. We had booked the oil change via the internet last week. This seems to be the best way to schedule routine service. I waited in the customer lounge which was nice and clean and had a cup of good coffee courtesy of the dealership. Brandon came and got me when the service was complete and I left a very satisfied customer. The oil is clean and the dipstick shows the correct amount. What more could you want?

Upon arrival we were greeted by Ben, who promptly even though we had showed up 15 minutes earlier than we said we would, got our test drive car ready for us and got us on the road soon after we arrived. He was very easy to work with and made our buying experience very comfortable. This was my fiance's second time working with the Luther dealership and she made the comment to me that this experience for her was better than her first. I would recommend this dealership and Ben to any of my friends. Also would like to note that Adam was very helpful and made sure we were comfortable with the price and the options and made sure that we understood each scenario that was available to us, and even helped us get a better finance deal than we had walking into the door with which was great because we are saving up for a wedding this year. I purchased my first Kia in 2007. Up until today my service experience has been great. Twice I called to set up an appointment for an oil change, bolt replacment, and diagnostic check for my check engine light that was on. Each time I hung up after waiting for 20 minutes to speak to somebody. I went online to schedule an appointment and there were no open appointments for 3 days. Since my repair was urgent I drove to the dealer to speak to a real person and I was told they would be able to begin working on my car within the next 30 minutes and certainly would be done within 2 hours. 4 hours later I went to check on the status and they told me they just printed my paperwork. That was true, but when I went to get my car the windows had ice frozen on them which I needed to scrape off with a scraper - too thick for the wipers. No big deal, but it meant my vehicle's repairs had actually been finished long enough for ice to melt and layer on the windshield. Why did they not tell me when my vehicle was finished? I was looking to purchase another Kia vehicle from them, but I will now need to think a little harder about that given this latest experience. I don't want to look into using another Kia dealer, but I don't want to deal with the aggravation again.

I chose Luther because I purchased my first car from Luther 12 years ago and it was a great experience then, too. We arrived at the dealer and James was very willing to assist us in a test drive, but did not have sales desperation seeping from his pores like so many salesmen. He kindly pointed out the car's features and upside and allowed us plenty of time to inspect the vehicle on our own without him hovering. We got a fair deal on our car and financing options were simple, upfront, and clear. At no point did we feel worried about hidden fees or being taken advantage of. Chris Knutson went over the car with us at pickup, and the car was all ready to go, fuled up and heated. He went over the special features of the car with us in a very clear and friendly manner. I have never had a bad experience at Bloomington Luther Kia. Their staff goes above and beyond to be timely, efficient and always friendly. They vacuum and wash my car every time I go - which is a simple gesture, but means a lot to me. I feel like they really want to do the best work for me and don't try to "hustle" me, either be selling me services I don't need or rushing me in and out of the dealership. I stopped at Luther Bloomington KIA to shop for a new Optima. I have leased 6 vehicles before, and this was BY FAR the best and easiest experience I've had! I worked with Bayo, who was great. Very knowledgable and not the least bit pushy. I told him what I was looking for and he directed me right to it. Didn't once try to get me into a more expensive trim line or sell me things I don't need. He gave me thier best price, and it beat the 3 other dealerships I had got quotes from, so it was a no brainer. I was also impressed with the whole sales staff as well. Pretty much all of the staff said hello to me, even though they knew I wouldn't be working with them. The whole lease process took maybe 2 hours. I would highly recommend Luther Bloomington and Bayo in particular. I will certainly be going back!

Hello, I recently purchased a vehicle from a young man by the name of Matt at Luther Kia in Bloomington. It was not even a minute entering the main atrium of the dealership before I was welcomed by the salesman. We got right into something I was looking for to purchase. I was offered a beverage and to the lounge area while some of the paperwork was being approved and submitted. I did notice while those items were being processed Matt had already started helping another customer in need which he must of had been working with previously, but had made sure to continue to update me with the progress and made sure I was not forgot about. He has also since followed up with me along with another customer service rep on my purchase from the dealership. This dealership is the worst business I have had to deal with. I will make sure that I pass my experience I had to everyone that I know and tell them to run the other way and dont look back . They dont care about you as a person they only care about the money . Yes that is the American way but there comes a point that some values are needed also. This dealership has lost their integrity which has hurt the Luther name in my books. . I purchased a 2008 Dodge Dakota and in less than 1 month and 5 days all of these things happened. The first thing was the hood latch release feel apart in my hands . I had to replace the alternator and a battery. The last and final thing is now I need my rack and pinion replaced. I do hold myself accountable because I waited too long to call them I called one day late and that is my fault but where are their values? Apparently customer service issues are not part of your core business values which will hurt you in the long run. I will never go to a Rudy Luther Dealership in the future and I will take it upon myself to let everyone (friends co-workers) about the experience I had and to go somewhere else.

I feel like I have been tricked. I was sold a warranty that has not cover a single thing in the 9 months I have owned my vehicle. When I asked for more information about my warranty - I was given a piece of paper with a phone number circled and told "You could try them" WONDERFUL - thanks for all the information. As a younger car purchaser - I wanted to build a relationship with a dealership and continue servicing and purchasing there for years to come. That will NOT happen here. I understand the warranty may not be something you have complete control over but I think it is essential to properly convey what to expect to a potential buyer. This did not happen in my case. The gentleman that sold it to me said "it's worth every penny it covers almost everything". I am 0-5 so far and have been told I need $400++ in service that won't be covered. Ultimately shame on me for not seeking out more information originally. But lesson learned. And also shame on you. You have F'd a potential lifetime purchaser and referral giver.

I purchased a brand new 2013 Kia Sorento SX this past November. My first scheduled service at 7,500 miles has been fantastic. The only issue on the vehicle thus far is a small intermittent rattle in the front dash that the dealer is trying, but having a hard time finding (and it only happens in cold weather, so I'll have to wait until this fall to bring it up again.) A couple of other nits (including washer rust around the bumper insert found only on the SX) are being fixed at no cost to me under warranty. Other than that, I'm very pleased so far with the support for my new vehicle and time will tell how well this holds up as the vehicle gets older... and the warranty expires "down the road" (pun intended.)

Stopped later in the week and found the perfect car. The sales and service personnel were very professional and allowed my wife and I to shop for and purchase our new vehicle without being pressured or having to play "games" to receive the best price. I was more than pleased with my purchasing experience at the Luther Kia dealership! I also want to recognize our Sales Consultant, Bayo Mustapha Jr. In shopping for my Cadenza, I went and test drove many BMW's, Audi's, Volvo's, etc. To say that I have dealt with a number of sales consultants would be an understatement. Bayo was a consummate professional in working with us, not only was he pleasant, he also had a great deal of knowledge about the vehicles we drove; in the rare event he did not have an answer for me, he went above and beyond to get those answers. He also stayed with us very late, after the dealership had closed, to ensure that my wife and I felt comfortable driving our new Cadenza home. I also want to thank Adam Burns, for also being flexible and staying late after the dealership closed to help us finalize the sale! In short, one of the main reasons we decided to purchase our new Cadenza from your dealership, versus one closer to our home in Woodbury, was that we preferred to work with Bayo. The other main reason was that the show room and service waiting area were clean, well-lit, and maintained. I had previously visited another Kia dealership in the Twin Cities, while I wouldn't go so far to call that dealership a "dump", after I took a short walk-through found the show room and service waiting area were not anywhere near as well maintained as Luther Kia of Bloomington.

My wife and I stopped at Kia of Bloomington and immediately were greeted by Shawn Schmidt, he was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the vehicle we wanted. So we ended up ordering a white 2013 Kia Optima and the delivery date was scheduled for May 20th. When May 20th arrived, we received a phone call from Shawn letting us know that the vehicle was damaged in transit and we could no longer purchase that car, however, he was extremely quick to find the same vehicle in black from one of their sister dealerships. We went out there the very next day and fell in love with the vehicle and ended up driving home with it that night. Needless to say, I would highly recommend buying your next vehicle from Kia of Bloomington. We had a hiccup with the vehicle that we originally wanted but they remedied the situation immediately and made us very happy customers! I give them 10 out of 5 stars!!!!

We called Kia the morning that we purchased our vehicle to see if we could come by to take it out for a longer test drive. It's a big purchase, we wanted to be sure we liked it. Kevin said no problem. We were able to take the car out (Kia Optima Hybrid) for an extended period of time without any problems from the dealership. Needless to say we loved it! By this time it was after 5:00 and they would be closing by 6:00. At no time did we ever feel like we were there close to closing time. We were made to feel welcome and important. We did not feel like were making anyone stay late for us. We thought we'd be asked to come back Monday to do the deal but they said no we will take care of you right now!! Everyone was just great! Don Daniels walked us through our paperwork - both the trade we had and the new car paperwork with ease and explained everything to us in detail. Thanks! Kevin - thank you for getting us a deal that worked for us perfectly! There wasn't any hassle. We said we'd like to end up with this payment if possible and Kevin made that happen. Easy! At 7:10, an entire hour after they closed) Jimmy was outside showing us around the car, pairing our phones to the car, and making sure all our questions were answered. Again, we were never made to feel like we were making anyone stay late. What an amazing experience! There were a couple scratches that needed to be fixed and they took care of it. Their body shop did an amazing job!!! You'd never know a repair was made. The car is absolutely perfect. The experience was amazing! Thanks everyone for making the purchase experience fabulous. You all really know how special getting a new car is.

I came to Kia for my first new car purchase ever. I worked with both James Remer and Jamie Osmondson. A majority of my interaction was with Jamie Osmondson, but my first experience was a test drive with Mr. Remer. The test drive was an effortless experience and an enjoyable one as well. It definitely laid the groundwork for what was a positive buying process. The remainder of my dealing was with Jamie. Jamie was very accommodating and quick to answer any questions I had - being a first time buyer I had plenty! Jamie was a huge factor in me purchasing from Kia, as he gave me a far superior experience to the other dealers I visited. Bottom line: when you go to Kia looking for a car, ask for Jamie Osmondson. This is not to say the other employees don't do fantastic work, but I know from experience he will exceed your expectations.

I looked at and test drove several SUVs, the car I chose is the KIA Sorento. It has the most room and best functions of all the SUVs I drove. After hearing promitions on the radio I did some research and learned about the quality, safety and great warranty Kia offers. My boys and I decided to stop in the Bloomington dealership to see the Sorento and other Kia vehicles on a Saturday afternoon to check them out in person. We have been looking at many different brands of SUV's online and in person over the last six months. After seeing the vehicle I was excited to learn more. I have never had a better experience when buying a car, the staff was friendly and made us feel at home. Jim Johnston was our salesperson and I never thought I would have a car salesperson ask me what I wanted down to the detail and then actually make it happen to the T but that is exactly what Jim did for us. Both Jim and Donnie the new car manager went the extra mile. I am a pretty straight up gal and say it like it is and all I have written here is 100% accurate because that's how I roll :). I can say with confidence that I am a customer long term and will recommend this dealership over and over. My two boys and I feel like we made a few new friends rather than feeling like walking dollar signs that were shuffled in and out to make room for the next buck. Charlie was customer focused during the transaction with a customer follow up call after the sale closed. This greatly demonstrated his vision of customer service. Service department was spectacular and meet my expectations to meeting all requirements to service needs. Minor issue with used car sales manager being reluctant about replaceing a rubber strip on the passenger door. Service department replaced anyway. All discussions with Dave Ramy to completing sales transaction was flawless without issue and minimal time spent signing and waiting.

The person that I made my appointment with was very nice. When I arrived at the dealership, I was greeted promptly for my oil change appointment by friendly and courtesy people. I added a brake light outage on the spot and that was no problem for them. They were done in the time that they had stated and my car was washed and the front mats were vacuumed for me. I have always wanted a Kia Soul so I did internet searches and found my exact dream car at Bloomington Luther Kia. A 2010 Molten Red Soul+ with all the extras inside. I finally have a car with a sunroof. It was a perfect match. Shawn Schmidt did a great job telling me about all the features of the car and extras that were available for purchase. I bought a new Kia at this dealership three years ago and have continued to have my car serviced by them. I have been nothing but amazed at how good the service is. I got a flat tire a couple years ago and they towed it for free and fixed it immediately for a reasonable price. They provide free oil changes and car washes for the life of the vehicle, and as someone who knows nothing about cars, I feel like they've always been great about explaining things clearly.

Little did we know that we would walk out of there proud owners of a 2013 Kia Sorento. Vern Prosser was excellent! We set up an appointment with him and talked about out wants and needs and we determined that it would actually be more cost efficient to buy new. We were very pleased with the service and friendliness we were shown at the dealership. We never felt rushed or pressured to buy, which is huge for me!! It was a very positive experience!! I will go there first for my next car and if treated the same, the car after that. I went Bloomington Kia because I did some family car switching and ended up with my son's 2010 Nitro which we owed money on. A markeitng piece saying they would get me top trade in value for that car got me to Shawn at the dealership. When all was said and done we were able to make both sides happy and with Shawn's guidance got the car and terms that I wanted on the 2013 Kia Optima SXL! Great experience and like that the dealership isn't huge but part of a large car group like Luther.

I worked with Charlie Olson and needed a second vehicle for winter so I went in and bought a used 2011 Optima at the bloomington location. I loved the car. And Charlie was a gem! He wasn't pushy and was really great to work with. He answered all my questions and concerns. Although it started out good, the excitement stopped after I purchased the car. There were a few things that needed fixture that I pointed out from the beginning. The backseat vent was broken, the roof on the driver side had a pencil sized-hole in the material, the backseat door interior paint was rubbed off and my windshield fluid wouldn't work anytime it was less than 20 degrees (note: windshield fluid was full)! They said they would take care of it--okay. I waited a whole month for the vent part to come in and when I finally scheduled my appointment to get everything fixed, the guy that fixes the upholestry called in sick! Apparently he was the only one who could fix it! I had to re-scheduled and waited for another week and after a month and a half, I finally got everything fixed. Of course...the frustration didn't stop there. It looks like they put some kind of gum paste to cover the hole on the roof. I was very disappointed! Aside from that, they didn't clean the mess they made in my car (vacuum, window marks) and apparently who ever fixed my car turned my radio on and was listening to the sport's station!!! I don't even have that station set on my radio! Overall, as far as service...it's a Kia dealership, don't expect the top service here.

I traded in my 2006 Civic for a 2000 Toyota 4Runner and these guys are fair, quick, and fun to deal with. I would work with them again in a minute. The trade in value that I received was very generous, and the vehicle that I purchased was in great condition. Most of all the transaction was quick. I did not have a lot of time, and they got the paperwork ready and completed in minutes, not hours. My last used vehicle purchase was from one of those small time used auto lots, and it did not go well. The Lexus RX 300 that I purchased for my wife had the engine blow on her first road trip 2 weeks after purchase. The dealer, Car Zone of Burnsville, just laughed at me when I asked him to set things right.Now, with Luther Kia, they offer a 3 day return policy, plus back up their used vehicles with a 30 day, 1,000 mile warranty.

I work a lot of hours so talking over the phone is not always ideal; I was able to converse easily back and forth through e-mail with James on my time and didn't feel hassled regarding my decision to purchase. I will never go to this dealer again, nor would I recommend it. We traded in our old truck for a much newer one. The new one didn't work out so we took it back within the 5 day return policy. They had already gotten rid of our old truck so we didn't have many options. We found another truck at another Luther. Luther KIA bought it so we could look at it and trade in the truck we didn't like. We weren't 100% sure about this new truck they bought for us, but we felt trapped and had no other option but to buy this new one because they had already gotten rid of our old truck. They weren going to let us negotiate a price on the second truck, I had to ask to speak to the manager. The manager is not very friendly and very rude. He just tries to intimidate you. We then proceeded to wait for the finance guy for over 4 hours! Both times we were in there; we waited for over 4 hours! The second time we were there, we had no choice but to bring our 11 month old daughter, since we were there so long she missed her dinner and bedtime. The waiting room was full with only ONE finance person available. I will have to say our salesman was very nice and helpful. All the salesmen were very nice and welcoming. I was not impressed with the management. If you decide to use this dealer, make sure you do not go in the evening on a week day. You will waste you ENTIRE night waiting in their waiting room! Also, they do not fill up the gas tank of your new car. You have to make sure and ask for that.

We had a good, used car shopping experience with Luther Kia of Bloomington. We initially dealt with Charlie Olson via e-mail and telephone, then met with James Remer at the store. When we eventually made our purchase with Charlie. Both Charlie and Jim were very kind and gracious, and neither were pushy salesmen. When negotiating a final price, we worked with Adam Burns. Finding a good warranty for our new used car was importance to us, and Adam helped find a reasonable deal on a 3-year warranty for us. The price on the car was competitive to begin with, so our negotiation was short and pleasant. I feel like we got a fair price on our entire package (car, dealer's warranty, and the paid-for extended warranty). Luther Kia's facilities are very clean, and the on-site staff is very friendly. They continuously reminded us that everything would be done on agreeable terms, and that we could walk away at any time. Overall, we had a five-star experience, and I will recommend this dealership to my friends.

Great service and everything was delivered as promised. I never felt pressured to buy anything and the staff was so nice. My wife was so happy with the Soul we purchased and Bayo our sales person was great to work with, he walked us through all of the features in our vehicle and made sure we stayed within out budget. I have to say Bayo was the friendliest sales person I've ever worked with. Adam did a great job finding the best financing available and he walked me through everything I didn't understand. We are definitely planning to purchase our next vehicle from Luther Kia in Bloomington.

Our car process started in July and ended in November. With major life changes in the near future, my fiance and I wanted to downsize from 2 vehicles into one. We were working with budget restraints and potentially a lot of negative equity. Finally in November we stopped into KIA in Bloomington about an hour before they closed, we were not expecting to buy a car that night. James, along with management and finance made sure they could do everything within their power to make our "dream" car a reality. 3 hours later we rode out of the lot in our brand new Optima. The staff really went above and beyond where words cannot explain. This location saved us hundreds of dollars in car payments a month, but their customer service and kindness is priceless. We will forever recommend KIA of Bloomington. No issues with anyone we worked with for this service, so not a slam on the folks in the service department--just a big picture gripe basically. Ended up with a nail in one of the tires on our new '13 Optima. Had it patched at a service station near us since it turns out the Optima has a hokey blow up patch kit from the factory. I'm sure it has to do with overall weight/mileage figures, but customers should be made aware of it which I wasn't when I bought it-basically my only real gripe with Kia/Luther thus far. I let customers know any issues I see in what is being offered, even if it's what I'm selling. They are ALWAYS thankful for it and it usually pays dividends at some point in some form. I requested to keep the "old" tire so that I could make a full size spare. The space is there in the trunk well for a full or even temp tire spare kit. I wonder if the dealership would consider offering up a spare tire kit on everything they send out the door. Pawning it off as a "factory" issue is weak. It's the dealer that is ultimately delivering the vehicle, not the factory. Blow up kits/roadside assistance etc are fine for many, but there are still some of us who know how to change a flat tire, can get on our way in 10 minutes and then have the tire patched at our convenience. Luther ordered the new tire and had it mounted which was good, although we were a bit surprised that Kia/Luther would not help us out in covering some of the tire replacement cost/mounting or at least offering a tire at cost vs. retail. Fortunately we had purchased the extended warranty which stepped up to the plate to cover up to $100 of replacement, yet we still covered the $45 above that--most of which was attributable to the retail cost of the tire which could easily have been forgiven. I don't see why a dealer doesn't see to it that a customer isn't asked to pay over and above a covered cost--provided by an extended warranty they sell--as a matter of courtesy. In the world of sales, it's always the little things that matter and a courtesy car wash wasn't worth $45.

My experience with Kia thus far has been great. Both on the purchasing end, and on the service end. Samantha in the service department is particularly impressive to me! It's my first NEW car, but I have had nothing but a pleasant experience thus far. Granted, I've only owned it for 6 months, but the call to remind to make an appointment for my first free oil-change was above and beyond, and very timely, so I really appreciated it.

I recently stopped in at Luther Kia of Bloomington. Wasn't sure what I was looking for, I needed a car and needed it pretty quickly. Shawn Schmidt greeted me while I was browsing through the lot. He asked me if he could assist me. After I told him yes please, I need a car! He asked what I was looking for. To wich Iresponded...I have no idea! This is what I have for a down payment... and this is what I can afford a month. What can you do with that? Shawn took it from there. It was the easiest car buying experience I've ever had. Shawn was extremely friendly, non aggressive and very down to earth. In fact, everybody on the floor that day smiled and said hello as they walked by. I was offered water, coffee, cupcakes...I even got a tour of the place. I really felt like they all wanted my experience with them to be the best.. and it was! Buying a new car can be very stressful... at no point did I feel even the slightest bit overwhelmed. Dave Ramy handled the finances. He is such a friendly, fun guy. Both Shawn and Dave made it feel more like hanging out with buddies... then talking to a couple of salesmen. I have and will continue to spread the good word for Luther Kia of Bloomington. What a great group of people. Oh... and my new car.... makes me want to do a happy dance! The next time I'm looking for a car, I'm coming here. Thank you!

I was called by Kia corporate asking me if I would like to participate in a parts evaluation program. They wanted to replace my fuel tank with a new one so they could evaluate an actual in service tank. Luther Kia Bloomington took care of all the details and made the process quite pianless. I have never been disapointed with the quality of service, turn around time, and courtesy of all employees. Nice facility, nice folks and great cars.

Arrived 1 minute, due to road detour. Was welcomed, and guided into place by cordial welcoming staff, who anticipated that I was new to the process. Assisted immediately. Professional advice, and guidance asked and given. Ushered to comfortable quiet lounge, with coffee. and TV. Appointment took less than time estimated, and was out and on my way in less time than expected. They applied available coupon, even though I ahd forgotten it. Thus, they exceeded my expectations in every way. Staff is to be complimented, and thanked for their courtesy, and respect, and expertise.

Hello. I recently visited Luther Kia for a timing belt repair. I am truly grateful for the courtesy and kindness on behalf of the staff at Luther Kia. They listened to my issues and when it became apparent that my repair was going to take longer than the designated time, they were very nice in lending me a loaner car so that I could go about my business without being stuck without a vehicle. While the cost of the repair was a bit more than I was comfortable with, I feel more secure in my vehicle especially with the incoming colder weather. Thanks!

I had an appointment this morning at 7am to have my oil change done. Needless to say I was not thrilled about being at a dealership at this time of the morning. When I arrived, the service manager that greeted me was very pleasant and must have sensed that I needed more coffee lol. He made sure to let me know that he had just made fresh coffee and showed me where it was. They finished my car earlier than quoted and was very pleasant while I was there.

Very good experience with Bayo the sales associate. Great price on the vehicle purchased and reasonable price on the trade in. Of course they had to try and sell all the add-ons of rust/paint protection and extended warranty. Had to wait around a bit for the financing to get completed.

We recently brought our Soul for service. We were very pleased with the entire visit. They offered suggestions for service in addition to the oil change but did not push it on us. The service was done quickly. Charlie asked for a car wash. It was thorough. They vacuumed and wiped the inside down. It was just like new. My experience at this dealership was good. I say good and not stellar because of mainly one thing. I made my appointment for service online. When I arrived for the appointment they knew I was coming but the location had been changed because of a recent move and/or change of name for service of my Mitsubishi. The new location was right across the street so it was not a huge inconvenience. I purchased my Mitsubishi at the KIA dealership so I assumed that is where I would have the service done. When I purchased my vehicle, I believe KIA and Mitsubishi were under one name, Luther. Bottomline, there was confusion that could have been prevented by a simple email or phone call notification telling me where I was supposed to take my particular vehicle and to notify me of the change. Throughout the visit, they were cordial and serviced my vehicle and gave me the necessary information before I left for future service needs. I appreciated that! I give them a thumbs up despite the confusion!

We had a great experience at Luther Kia. We were greeted by Jim Johnston upon arrival, he made us feel very welcomed and was very helpful. Jim appears to have a good rapport with people, and never did we feel any pressure about purchasing a vehicle. Once we decided to purchase a vehicle the process went very smoothly. My sales consultant, Jim Johnston was very thorough. He was professional in his demeanor and had a calming influence. I walked in knowing the vehicle I wanted to purchase. The KIA SPORTAGE. We talked about the cars performance and safety features and overall specifics of the crossover. I had 2 quotes from independent auto repair shops for replacing the timing belt. Not only did Justin (Service Mgr) give me the same price but it also included original Mitsubishi parts. And both of the independents told me that I would have to replace the water pump at the same time, Justin said that it was not necessary, saving me money. I am very satisfied & I trust him. I will be taking my Lancer back to the dealership from now on for all maintenance.
