Amazing place, everyone there was EXTREMELY nice and helpful they did everything in their power to help me get into the car I wanted for the price I wanted. Melissa especially was the most kind sales rep who spent hours with me helping me out. I would recommend if you want a car stop here first and if they can’t help you no one can.

Be careful people! The service department is very shady. I recently brought in my 2018 Tacoma for a 30 K service. The shop recommended four services that were absolutely unnecessary: 1) Throttle body cleaning (actually recommended every 75k, or never) 2) Brake fluid flush (totally unnecessary, especially when my first brake job will be due pretty soon, which will include a brake fluid flush) 3) Alignment (Totally frivolous. Truck is tracking straight doesn't need alignment until tires or shocks are replaced) and lastly a 4) Mass airflow sensor service (ONLY needs to be serviced/replaced if it shows signs of running poorly, and diagnosed as culprit. My Tacoma runs PERFECT). I declined all of these recommended services (totaled around 1200 bucks) because I knew better. To suggest any of them at 30k without reason, is tantamount to FRAUD. What about people who don't know better? Like your mom, your grandparents, wife, etc. AVOID this place. The service techs are LIARS. Toyota should take notice and root them out. I fully intend to report them to all channels I can, so if you see this Toyota MDR you can skip the apology.

Jake and Carlos are the best! This was the first time I had fun at a car dealership. They were very personable and patient. No tricks needed, they will help you get a price that is a win-win situation for everybody. They also had a good inventory during this new vehicle shortage.

I went into this dealership ready and willing to leave with a new car. The salesman that was helping me Alex Siccardi was incredible but the upsetting part about the entire situation which was out of his control is the pricing for their cars. They are definitely ripping people off by trying to charge an additional $15k above what’s listed on the Toyota website. I would give this place zero stars if I could. I really would have liked to drive away in the car that I fell in love with.

I have been try to build a trust with this dealer since I bought my 4 Runner there in 2003.Things were OK until I hit 150,000 miles, then they stated recommending major service for brakes and struts they had done a year before. When I questioned the service manager, his excuse was to blame the technician,I was planning to drop off my 4-Runner for Minor Service and get the Knott's Berry Farm free Admission Vouchers as I have been doing for years but this time I was told it was only for "Qualified Toyota Care Customers". I'm so glad I had found an independent service garage that is honest, fair and reasonable. I would be a fool to go back to this dealer.I know this will probably not get posted because I also know the surveys do not get sent to the customers unless they will give a rating of EXCELLENT.

Didn't give me my contract . I go back a month later for first payment and to see the old contrant and throw a new contract down ?how does a 72 month term (6years) go bad in a month ? You would think Oh well you did something on your behalf .. BUT NO I GOT INSURANCE AND PAYMENT ON TIME . Then Patrick and that little short xxxx Elvis got mad cause I didn't wanna sign THE NEW CONTRACT (breach of first contract ) ... ILLEGAL !!! Not professional at all . They even had the skinniest guy running after us telling us to read the back of the contract (when that's what we had went to go get )

Jose mislead my father to the dealership. Quoted a price that wasnt reachable. Lied about having the vehicle at the dealership. Guided my parents alone to the back of dealership and left them there. Then when my parents returned to the front to find dealership, they found him laughing with his buddy, and said that it wasn't his fault that they sold 27 tacomas the night before. Really? All the meanwhile I found out via email that the vehicle was never there. I sent my father to locate the Tacoma he wanted for so long because I was going to purchase it as a gift. I was already preapproved. It was just a matter of picking the truck. Because of JOSE....my father was so disappointed that he has now changed his mind and no longer wants to accept my gift. Thank you jose for destroying my gesture to my dad. Oh yes..and thank you to your manager Alfonso/Arnol for attempting to rectify situation, but damage has been done by your salesman.

My husband and I bought two cars from them at the same time. Mine is a new car and my husband got a used. We were very satisfied with the sales men and management. They worked very hard to find us the right cars at the right prices. Everything was explained to us in a professional manor. I know they are under new management and that they have worked very hard to get the right people. We were both very satisfied with the whole experience.

This is my second car from this dealer. I've been to many and I rate these guys #1. Customer service was great. The guys I came in contact with were all professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Very thankful they were able to work with me. I have THE car I've wanted since they came out few years back, a Prius. I have a 2015 Prius so I'm happy. I came in before and wasn't able to get it but it didn't deter me from trying again. What stood out was that their customer service was friendly not rude.

Great service experience on my 2005 tundra, Jeff, the service representative, advised me of a good time to bring my truck in for service and advised me of a recall issue which he took care of at the same time.Additional issue took about 30 minutes longer, less time than Jeff estimated. Also, he advised me of an upcoming timing belt change needed based on my mileage and the year of my vehicle. He was informed about my truck and specific maintenance issues to my year and took the time to explain why and what was needed. Rate he quoted me for the upcoming work was cheaper than I found at an independent repair shop and another dealership.I will definitely be bringing my truck back for future service needs.

Came here to purchase a used car. After completing test drive another salesman came out and told our salesman, in the most unprofessional exchange between salesmen that i have ever seen in any business, that the car had been sold. Words were exchanged, salesman went to talk to manager came back and said sorry, paperwork had been started. Went inside to talk about another car. One salesman followed the other into the back, arguing and i actually saw one shove the other. At this point i demanded to speak with the manager of the dealership. He acknowledged my presence and that's about all. He not only did nothing to speak to them. He didn't even bother to offer us an apology. Needless to say, not only did we leave but would not consider returning even for service on the vehicle i did purchase at another dealership. There is obviously a significant lack of ethics between salesmen, and there is management that could care less about the customer. Clearly in their view, what's one less sale.

All I asked from them was for them to be "honest and upfront" with me. I had credit issues, owned by own truck outright and informed them I could not afford a high, monthly payment and not to waste my time if this thing would not come out as disclosed. What I was informed is; not to worry, I've been approved and actually signed a contract and drove out with the vehicle at a fairly decent rate and payment.Three weeks later: Received a call congratulating me that "your interest rate and payment have been lowered." All you need to do is come in to sign the contract. Told them I would have to come down over the weekend to sign as I work in the South Bay and did not have a lot of time. Was advised the contract was "DONE" and all I had to do was sign. It will take all of 5 minutes. Drove on down there and to my surprise:1. Interest rate went UP and my payment went UP by $100.00+ a month.2. Contract was never prepared. It took an hour and a half to do so. (so much for it being ready and all was necessary was my signature).3. Several other issues. This is the epitome of a car salesman/dealership. AGAIN, all I asked was for them to be "honest and upfront" with me. Unfortunately that request was too big for them. It did not happen. At least they were polite.

I had a great experience with Marc Lee. Very thorough, knowledgeable and though I had to return a couple of weeks later to get my car, he was cool with that and gave me a great deal. Real professional and funny. Don't plan to buy or lease another car soon, but if I do I'll use him and Marina Toyota again (shouldn't have to though since I got another Toyota). Also - had quick visit to service/parts department. They were cool too.

My roommate just obtained a job after relearning how to walk again. He recovered from an accident and coma. I went to the dealership to buy an ecconomical car so that he could use mine for transportation to his new job. Salesperson Marc stated that he was in a coma as well for the use of energy drinks. Stated that I better love the care that he picks out for me. The test drive was a joke. Another car magically appeared. I purchased the used Honda 11/4/12. I immediately refinanced with my bank after the way I was treated and also after finding out that the car was only worth $14,600 high blue book and it was sold to me for $25,710. I put down $3,000 and none went to the car. I still don't know what a $2,000 portfolio fee is. I cancelled GAF insurance 11/9/12 and still have not received a refund. I paid $1,499 to have lojack activated on a car that was previously installed with it. I made a couple attempts to schedule the lojack activation as I was instructed, after I was told I was not allowed to have my money back for it. However, have been unable to set a date to have it done where it does not interfete with my work. Mainly due to their end as I can not get a set date or a hold of someone that can make it. I did not appreciate being threateded that I better not get into a car accident going home on the day that I cancelled the GAF insurance. I did not appreciate being forced to hug people when leaving the premesis. I did not appreciate being lied to or manipulated. When I voiced my concerns on 11/9/12 at the dealership I was repeatedly told there is no cooling off period in California. I'm sure the boss is still patting the salespeople on the back today for taking so much advantage a such a hard working person. I guarantee this crooked company lost my business forever and I do not have a problem sharing my experience. Both my roommate and I were told that I would be getting $4,000 off the price of the car. Not only did I not get anything off but I was charged $6,000 in extras that the car does not need. I was hyperventillating when I signed the forms. I know the boss must run his personal life like he runs this company and I hope he ends up in jail, where he belongs.

This is a second time that I bought a car from this dealer. First time I bought with Bryan service was great then I decided to come back again .But this time sale person so rude and bad service I have ever met. Ramin doesn't have any sale skill at all He's so rude, selffish and needy person .Moreover, He said to me I'm a needy person because I didnt want to take a car that he recommened OMG!.And first time when I met him he told me I have to put down payment $ 8000 becuase my credit is not so good but when I decided to walked out he asked someone to talk to me after that I put down for $3000 . I bought this car because Jimmy who is finance manager. I'm impress with him He try to help the customer .Oh!Something more at first time when Ramin called me and I askes for Bryan he said Bryan already quit and he's a manager right now !!! And more over about this dealer after I signed a contact to buy a car and I left check for down payment but my bank doesnt allow me to use check right now because someone try to pull out my information and bank supposed to close the account and open the new one for me and I'm not in Los Angeles at that time .And My office need to re-location to Seattle and I already told Finance department to hold my check and I suppose to get back and pay cash and he said OKAY but they didnt hold and let my check returned. One day later the lady who work with this company called me and ask for my company phone number and I gave her the number but I told her to call on other they because my company waiting for provider to install phone and internet because the move the office .She said " She can't sell the car who give fake information!! WTF!! Seriously?Just because my company change a location and doesn't have phone number because waiting provider to install I become a fraud If I were fraud I should buy Proches or Bently it's more worse than toyota prius ! Last, I recommened this dealer but not Ramin .this is the last thing I can tell

I have had my car serviced at MDR Toyota many times and have always been satisfied. But after my most recent experience, I will NEVER take a car there again. A few weeks ago, my car wouldn't start. The Auto Club guy who gave me a jumpstart thought the starter was bad and needed to be replaced. One of the battery connectors also was loose. I took the car to MDR Toyota later that day and told them what the tow truck driver had said. They called me later and said the whole wire harness was corroded by battery acid and that they would need to pretty much tear the whole car apart to replace it. The quote was almost $3300. It just didn't feel right to me, so the next day I had the car towed to another repair location. I told them what MDR Toyota had said and their quote. Their diagnosis was that the battery terminal just needed to be replaced. The bill was a little over $200. I've had the car back for several weeks and have had no problems starting it. Draw your own conclusions.

I do not live in this area. On 10/5/10, I discovered my battery was dead when fetching my Matrix from long term parking after an overseas trip. I had it towed to the nearest Toyota dealer, which was the one at Marina del Rey. They cheerfully replaced the battery and at my request changed the oil and rotated the tires. Then Eddie comes to me with a long face to say that my brake pads needed an emergency replacement. He looked quite irritated when I said I'd have my regular auto maintenance people look at them when I got back home. 25,000 miles later I still have the same brake pads with my regular guys' blessing.

Back in 2009, I decided to make use of the Cash-for-Clunkers program to buy a Yaris. A new car, even with the program was a stretch for me. I had just graduated from grad school, so I planned to use Toyota's recent graduate rebate. As it turned out, the Cash-for-Clunkers program made it pretty hard to buy sub-compact Japanese cars for a while because everyone was buying them up. So when Marina Del Rey Toyota refused to budge from the MSRP on the Yaris they had in stock, I was disappointed but not terribly surprised. I ended up buying the car anyway, and was treated with the attitude of an average convenience store checkout person. Not badly, per se, but with no care at all. A week or two after I purchased the car (and presumably had allowed my old truck to be turned to scrap metal), the dealership calls me to tell me that Toyota is not honoring the Recent Graduate rebate because of the particular school I attended. They told me I needed to come in and renegotiate! This, after they gave me absolutely $0 off MSRP, remember. I told them that I'd be happy to take my old truck back if they preferred, but I wasn't going to renegotiate on a car I was overcharged for in the first place. They said they'd call me back, and never did.Until a few weeks ago, that is. I got a call from a salesperson telling me that they were interested in buying my car back from me. I was not particularly responsive to the first couple of calls, as I'm a very busy person. But the salesperson was very insistent, calling me many times. He told me they really needed my specific car for a good repeat client, and I'd be doing him a favor to come in and get an appraisal. I decided to think about it, but when I ran the numbers on what it would cost me to get into a new car to replace my Yaris, I realized it wasn't going to be worth it, especially after taxes and fees. So, the next time the salesperson called, I told him this. I also told him I lived in Long Beach and that it was a big time commitment to stop in to get the car appraised. He then told me all about the specific people who wanted the car and how important it was that he get this car for the family's daughter. So much so that he promised me a quote for my 2009 Yaris that was "significantly over market value" and that they would take a loss on this car just to keep this top-tier client. And, of course, he promised an unbeatable deal on a new replacement car, insisting that he felt I would be happy to make the deal to sell back the car and buy a new one.Today, I went back to Marina Del Rey Toyota for the first time since I purchased my Yaris. (I wasn't about to have my car serviced there after the buying experience I had had.) I gave them my car to appraise, and chose the car I would replace it with (another Yaris). Based on my research, "market value" of my 2009 vehicle is about $12,500. Of course, this is very subjective when speaking about a used car. When the salesperson came back with the "deal sheet" that included the cost of the new car minus the trade-in, the trade in appraisal given to me was $8000! Not only is this clearly not "significantly above market value" for the car, it's well below any estimate I could find online for the car, including for dealer trade-ins.Guess what the "unbeatable deal" for the replacement vehicle was? You guessed it, MSRP!So, of course, I was out of my seat to walk out the door when the salesperson asked me to wait to see the Sales Manger. I did, and when he came, he basically scolded me for expecting any deal that even vaguely resembled the one I had discussed over the phone with the salesperson who had called me. When I mentioned I was told that they were ready to take a loss on my car to keep a good long-term client, he just stared at me blankly.I couldn't get out of there fast enough, having spent many hours of research and financial calculations, in addition to an entire morning of my life driving 80 miles round trip to the dealership, all in response to what was basically a sneaky sales pitch. So, I have had two pretty terrible experiences with this dealership in the course of buying just the one car. I will not be going back.

I have been using the dealership for two years and have had great mechanical results, however the car has suffered some dents and scratches coming out of the service. My recent visit was for a basic inspection and engine oil and filter change, along with a wheel alingment. ( new tires )I have brought it the attention of the Service Manager, Jon Valestin. Jon has been extremely accomadating and supportive of some major mechanical issues on the car, (transaxle). He always meets me with a smile and a hand shake. In addition Mario from customer service, is very poilte and accomadating as well. The only negetive which I discussed with Jon were two items that appear to have been missing after the last service a three cell red Mag flash light and a rand mcnally road atlas. Not overly expensive maybe 30$ total for both but more the principal of the matter that someone there needed them more than I. Overall I recommend the facility to other people I know who are inthe area and drive Toyota's. There was a service writer by the name of Bruce, who was my service writer until recent who always did a fabluos job for me and never hestitated to take the car infor service when I needed. I was disapointed to see him not with the company anymore.

By far the best car buying experience I've ever had. Mike went above and beyond to work with me on MY schedule and terms. No pressure whatsoever. He was a true breath of fresh air after dealing with countless other salesmen at other dealerships who SAID they would respect my time only to pull the same old tired pressure tactics as usual.Mike has a great way of doing business and his pricing was extremely competitive. He found me the car I was looking for at the PRICE I was looking for. Truly a great find and someone I will continue to recommend to all of my friends and coworkers looking to buy their next vehicle. Thanks Mike!

I had a fantastic experience today at this dealership. I was initially greeted by a very friendly, knowledgeable sales person, Ahab. He was very courteous and professional and answered all of my questions. I then met with Brian, the sales manager, who was also great to do business with. He was respectful and efficient in our negotiations and made purchasing the vehicle a painless and fun experience. This has not always been my experience when car shopping. This dealership provides excellent customer service and handles clients in a professional, courteous and efficient manner. This was truly my best experience ever purchasing a vehicle. I would strongly recommend this dealership and sales team to anyone interested in buying a car.

I don't devote a lot of time into doing online reviews, but I read them as much as I can. I guess it's my turn to put one out there. This was my second car I got from Marina Del Rey Toyota. The first one I got I never wanted to get rid of. Excellent deal and knowing what I know now about that car, I would have paid more. After 3 years of driving it, It was parked on the street and someone smashed into the back of it. I went back to Marina Del Rey and got another excellent car (2004 Avalon). Another excellent car and excellent price. These guys there are great. The deals are awesome and you can't buy a better car than a Toyota.

My truck was shined up waiting for me when was done with all my paperwork. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking to experience a no hassle car/truck buying experience. They kept my son entertained with balloons n coloring supplies

Had a great experience with Marina Del Rey Toyota. I usually have my Sequoia serviced at a local mechanic's shop, but called Marina Del Rey for some recall work. They actually sent someone to my office to pick up my car for service and returned the car washed/cleaned inside and out!Great customer service, I'll definitely buy my next vehicle from them and I will not hesitate to refer people to Marina Del Rey Toyota!Mark Koenig

I had a very enjoyable experience at this dealership. I went in looking for a tundra truck and got exceptional service. I even got a lower payment then I was looking for. The Salesman Richard Garcia was extremely helpful and not pushy at all, like some salesmen can be. He introduced me to the finance director Larry Davis who was very nice and helped me get a lower payment. I would definitely reccomend this dealership to anyone who wants an enjoyable experience without being pressured.

I traded in a Camry I leased there 3 years ago and loved and leased a new Prius which is fantastic. Richard was a great salesperson to work with, he was extremely friendly and helpful, it was a great experience and i would go back again and again! The finance department was very informative and I appreciated being given all of my options and absolutely love my new car!

Probably one of my worst experience so far. Stopped in on Monday night, interested in a 2011 Sienna LE. After a bit of back and forth on the numbers we agreed on the the deal. Body color I liked was not available, however told me they will have it in by tomorrow pm. Got a call in the morning that car is here, got the VIN for insurance. Stopped in at 5pm, sales guy told me there is a small problem. They got me the car in the color I wanted but with a couple of addtl options I didn't care (cross bars, towing prep etc). Overall they wanted me to pay 15$ plus tax more a month (total 500$) for a MRSP of $600. I refused and I told them that I am not willing to pay a) more because of they screwed up and b)definitely not for options I have no use for. The sales guy (Chad) was really helpful and tried to work out the issues, but the general sales manager (Kamal) walked up, no intro nothing and said either I pay more or I can forget the car. I stayed pretty calm and said lets find a solution, they should take off the crossbars and we share invoice on the towing prep etc, but he said he wouldnt do at it he would loose on the deal. I said if this is his last offer and he could even more emotional and said that I should just take it or leave....I replied that I will report this to Corporate Toyota and BBB etc thats when he totally freaked out. He told me that I should pay or leave, that Toyota doesnt care about my story as they won't believe me but him and top it, that he sells 1200 cars a year and doesnt need my business. Then he just stood up and left. Obviously Chad and his manager Tom were pretty embarrassed and tried to de-escalate the situation but Kamal would refuse to come back and talk. Obviously as you can imagine I left the dealership pretty annoyed...After a couple of hours I wrote the same as above to the GM Kevin Gray. As of time of writing this I am still waiting for either a call back or response by email.. I would be surprised if I will ever get oneMeanwhile I got the car I wanted for the exact same price at Longo Toyota. My advice stay away from Marina del Rey Toyota....

I stopped in disappointed from another dealership that had sold a simular vehicle from under me I wanted. They pushed, wore me down and would not take no for an answer having their worker drive the vehicle to me residence while I drove my fairly new pick-up truck home. They lied telling that I could finance it through my credit union, but need to sign their papers first. They then telephoned me saying their was an overpayment of $4,500. which they mailed to me. I found that my credit union had not financed it yet, insisted that they take the check back and wait on more papers I need to submit to my credit union. I gave them a $3,000. deposit on the vehicle. The Maintanence required light kept coming on and I had moved 3 hours away. I took their vehicle back and now they will not give me my $3,000 back and continue insisting that I come back in town to pick the vehicle back up. They never listened to me at all, but always continued with their own agenda.

My Ford Taurus happened to break down in front of the dealership (not that amazing considering how unreliable this car was), so I went in and picked out a Tacoma. With what I still owed on the Taurus I'd be upside down on the lease, but I was desperate. I took hold of the lease which had a really long term on it but I figured that I would probably buy it anyway. In any case, the dealership called me up a few years later and offered me a buyout purchase that was too good to pass up. It basically eliminated the amount the previous amount incurred by the Ford. This was awesome. I've owned the truck for over five years now and it runs great. I'd return to the dealership from time to time to have the truck serviced and though they have a typical price structure (dealership service departments are way over priced), I'd still recommend them. They were pleasant and helpful.

This is one of the worst dealership you will ever visit. I got the price from internet after emailing back and forth. out of 7 dealers they were 5th best in pricing, still only they had the color I wanted, so I visited them anyway. The guy(kamal) was shouting at me saying , no I do not even want to talk about the price. This is fixed price and the black color you so badly want will only be available after adding full MSRP difference. He was not even ready to listen to me.Basically his attitude was that he was was doing me a favor by selling his car at ridiculous prices.I bought another color with upgraded nav etc added at lower price than his basic model pricing.for your own , please avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs. The sales dept looks more like the back office of a typical service area. It's filthy, small, and uninviting. The desk drawers were broken and held together by rope. (I'm serious) I almost laughed when the salesman started making calculations by pen and paper-- that's right folks, no fancy computers at this dealership.Cosmetic issues aside, the people who work here are terrible. The salesman I spoke with (Ryan) wasn't particularly offensive, but he constantly badgered me to purchase a car that I did not want. Very high pressure, very hardsell. He also used every car salesman cliche in the book. ("I want to save YOU money! We have to act on this NOW! Let's get you in this car TODAY!") The pricing was also laughable. Still, he wasn't a bad guy. Just not very good. His bosses were another story entirely. One guy (Eric) just gave me an unfriendly stare, no hello, no nothing. Not even a smile. The manager (Brian) actually greeted me, but oozed that slimy car salesman vibe. ("Let's make a deal, show us good faith, we know how to help you," etc.) His empty promises aside, it was obvious that they couldn't care less about my interests. They just wanted the money. Overall, they were extremely unhelpful, bordering on contemptuous. The last thing I expect from a salesman is attitude. Maybe at BMW of beverly hills, but at toyota? All in all, this was honestly the worst car dealership that I've ever been to. I was not even remotely comfortable about making such a large purchase with these people. If you're looking for a toyota dealership in the LA area, try santa monica or north hollywood. I found them to be FAR more helpful, with much less BS. The fact that their offices don't resemble a dump is a plus as well.
