After the breakdown of my car and the trauma of having it towed home, I wasn't looking forward to going through more trauma buying a replacement automobile. Much to my surprise, the process at Merced Hyundai was quick, professional and thorough. They were able to get me into a very nice new car within two days. Even better, they took my old car in trade and towed it away; gave me a fair price; gave me several rebates; and, they gave me a 72 month, 0% interest loan. Now that's what I call excellent customer service!!!

All of the staff were friendly. The environment was clean. The salesman Saan was well informed and had great people skills. During the time I was there I did not feel pressured. That was my main concern. No one likes a pushy car salesman. I'm glad we were able to work with Saan. We told him our financial situation and he worked with us.

Rob Brummel was very experienced in introducing me to the 2016 Genesis. This is my 3rd Hyundai, My 1st was a 2008 Azera Limited and then I had a 2012 Genesis. Although I had a good familiarity with the vehicle and standards, I was very impressed with Rob's attention to the details of the Genesis's appointments and features. Rob's since of integrity and making sure I was informed of all of the Genesis' capabilities was refreshing in today's sales invironment. It was a pleasure dealing with all of the staff at Merced Hyundai.

When Merced Toyota tried to talk me into a cheap, base model...I left right away and came to Merced Hyundai, Volkswagen and Kia. This is the second car I have leased/ financed from their lot. I got into the car I loved with all the things I had wanted plus more, sun roof, heated seats, big radio screen, power seat, leather, light interior. Hyundai needs oil changes every 7,500 miles which is a great selling feature. My 2016 Sonata Sport gets great gas mileage, better then my 2015 VW Passat I traded in...which I thought got great gas mileage. This dealership will definitely get you in a car. I always got used cars, thinking my credit wouldn't allow a new car and I was very surprised.

I was not looking to buy a new car. I wanted something used that I can afford. Over at Merced Hyundai they provided my wife and I an affordable new car to our preference! No hooks or salesman tactics. Just being straightforward and honest. Merced Hyundai is our dealer. If I want to buy a new car in the future, I will definitely go to them.

Refund my loss due to terrible insurace recommendations. If only they could set up the insurace in the dealership. Staff friendly and knew what they were doing but they presented their job to me like a check list.

I have purchased/Leased many cars over the Years, 4 of them Hyundai products , this was the most disappointing transaction I have ever entered into. Management wants to place the blame on me for being dumb for buying the wrong vehicle. I place the blame on the dishonest and misleading information by the salesman. I have no problem with Art in finance or your service dept.

He recommend the new 2016 Elantra, the car drove like a dream. Getting approved for a loan was quick and easy. The price was right and I took my new car home that night. All the staff were knowledgable, honest and thankful for my business. I never felt pressured or like I was being haggled. It was great! So I took in my warranty work for the sunroof and not only did they take about three times as long as they had originally promised but the day i went to go pick up my car i caught the employees in the service department racing in my car and worst of all is they did NOT get fired and still work there do not take your car there for service they are rude and irresponsible

One star only because I can't give zero or negative stars! I had a similar experience as a previous poster. Was promised a certain price over the phone by Fabian Jimenez, drove 40 miles one way to get there. After 1 1/2 hrs of dancing around with the test drive and paperwork, he finally told us that he couldn't give us the price he promised us. When I explained that wasn't acceptable since we had driven all that way for the promised price (I had informed him over the phone of the price offered by the Hyundai in our town and his price was $100 less), he got his Sales Manager, Fernando Torres, who came out clearly unwilling to negotiate. He literally yelled at me and told me he didn't believe the other dealership was willing to give us the deal I told them about. Well they did the next morning when I bought the car from them! And when I called the following Monday to speak to the General Manager (Sales), Gilbert Hernandez, he was nothing but a punk (disrespectful, immature, aggressive, rude) just trying to cover his boys' backs- kept interrupting from the start and didn't even let me speak, then got huffy with me for being annoyed at the entire situation. When he found out I had already bought a car, he hung up on me!! Clearly he has no concern whatsoever of the lack of customer service happening right under his nose. What a bunch of unprofessional amateurs!! Trust me, do your car buying somewhere else!! Modesto Hyundai will give you a great deal and will treat you right!!

worst dealer out there glad they're getting shut down by hyundai corporate haha karmas a Bat#%H. You guys might have bought and built a new building but your bread and butter is about to get taken away from you like a rug pulled from underneath your feet. Whoever is looking for a car there don't ever buy from these guys the salespersons suck and have no personality or class. They break the law so many times and think they can get away with it but do they really think they can hide forever? Nope they can't haha thats why karma will come and bite you in the at$$ like it is when corporate shuts these guys out of business in just a matter of time.
