I want to commend your service rep Malik Sallieu. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and personable. He answered my questions about my repair work and kept me informed about the status of the completion. After the service was completed, he walked me to my car and wished me a happy holiday. I have had my car serviced at your dealership since 2014 and this is the first time that I have felt that my business was genuinely appreciated. As a customer, you feel that you are welcome, and the staff goes out of their way if needed to assist your needs. We have had some really complicated technical issues on one of our cars there a couple of years ago that were simply out of the service department's control. I have always considered Mercedes Benz to be luxury cars. And my thoughts about sales, and services would be provided by the best trained and experienced personnel. So far, my expectations have been met at Mercedes-Benz of Alexandria. I requested and additional key be made. The key was made and delivered when promised.I don't remember the service agent's name but he was friendly and I would love to play golf with him, because we talked about golf while he was processing the paperwork.Plus if I had any complaints, I would make them known at the time of my visit. And to do a survey every time I do business with the dealership; I think is unnecessary an bothersome.

Tried to get my wife's first 10K service on her GLC300 near her office in Arlington but they were going to take 4 hours so I drove to Alexandria from there, pulled in and was promptly greeted by Chris who took the car, sent it off for service and returned it in 50 minutes washed and serviced. In between he checked in to see how I was doing in the lounge, updates the status of our service visit. Easy in and out. Bought the car from these guys too and that was a very positive experience as well. Also I like that they call a few days later to follow up on how they did. I have three MB's and this dealership has changed the paradigm for dealer service and cost.I'm a fan and will be back!

I am very HAPPY with the SERVICE I have received at Mercedes Benz of Alexandria, VA. They have performed two services for me and I have been thoroughly pleased with their service. My Assistant Service Manager Mr. George Boatwright is excellent and he does an extremely good job in letting me know the issues my car is having in a very timely manner. The whole team always give me a smile and is willing and ready to accommodate me when I walk in. I have always received a loaner car that is clean and fill with gas, the staff in this department is pleasant, efficient and I am always in and out and to work on time. I have the warranty coverage and the service department is always willing to look up my warranty and make sure that it is covered before they start the work. All of my service visits have been completed in 2 days or less. Example: My last visit in August 2016 was a 2-day service. I took my S550 in for a hubcap repair that was damaged in about four places and the work done was so flawless that you could not tell that the damage was even there and I picked up my car the next day. Their work hours are very workable for my schedule. I am impressed with their professionalism from the sale of my car by Mr. Jimmy Moore, Mercedes Benz Representative Master Certified to Mr. George Boatwright my Assistant Service Manager and Mr. Nicholas Moon, Customer Service Representative. Mr. Moon always follows up with a courtesy call and E-mail to make sure that I was satisfied with my service experience at Mercedes Benz of Alexandria, VA. After speaking with Mr. Moon, I believe if I had a bad experience he would try to work it out to see that it is corrected and that it does not happen again. This team made my first MB purchase the best ever. From the moment I began email correspondence and then once I walked in, I was greeted with kindness and warmth. I didn't feel too much pressure (I mean they worked hard to get me in my new 2016 C300, fully loaded at the price I wanted), but I received just enough to be serious about the decision I was making. I took my car there for my engine fan running continuously. I was told it would cost $2,400 dollar to get fix. I get my car back and a couple days later my radio is malfunctioning. They told me to return my car. I told Rick to service guy that his mechanic had to make some sort of mistake because I had absolutely no problems with my radio. He promise me that this problem would be taken care of if I bought my car back. Now they are trying to cover up the mistake they made saying this problem just happen. But you clear my car from any problems when I pick it up the first time.. Don't take your car here. They are running up bills. I'm sure everyone from the Director of service to the services writer are involved. Not to mentioning I it took them 3 weeks to find the problem( ripping me off) If there are others that have had theses problem with this dealer. Please lets unite together and have these guys sent to jail. Cause the are stealing thousands of dollars from customers by rigging there cars to fail.. Trust me you don't want your car here. I will never refer anyone or take my car here if the were to work on it for free.

Alvin, Arthur & Mr. Collins really put in the work for me to get my new Mercedes C300 and followed up with me every step of the way. At first I didn't think it was going to happen, but then they called and gave me some great news. The car is beautiful, the payment is what I was expecting it to be and I have to say this was by far the best car buying experience I've ever had. My experience with Alvin Daniels of Mercedes Benz of Alexandria was so stressful that I became physically ill knowing that I had to go back to that dealership. I did follow through on the vehicle purchase because I had signed a contract to do so. Had I not signed that contract, I would have walked away (from what was for me a very good deal) rather than ever having to deal with him again.The first few times I interacted with Alvin Daniels he alternated between being flirty and offering disingenuous compliments. Being richly recognized for what you door who you are is wonderfully confirming and it just feels good. Alvin Daniels words and actions were offered primarily to serve his own interests. It was all about the sale. It was manipulative.On one of these earlier visits I did a test drive. Before the actual drive Alvin Daniels went through the dashboard and explained the components. That was helpful. Awhile into the test drive began we were stopped at a red light. The acceleration from that light was clunky (because of the EcoBoost) and when I said what was that?! he responded (and this is verbatim) Well you dont have to buy it! These cars are flying off the shelves! You cant INSULT my car! He was actually yelling. I didnt respond to him. I was thinking (1) where exactly am I and how do I get from here to my car at the the dealership, (2) how do I put this car in park because I would really like to get out of this car right now, and (3) I wish it wasnt raining because if I knew where I was and if it was not raining I would put the car in park and walk to my car. After about 90 seconds of an awkward silence I said Well lets go back then. Although I believe in the Mercedes-Benz brand and their products, based on my horrendous experience with this purchase I am not really enjoying this vehicle. I would never recommend that anyone ever go to Mercedes-Benz of Alexandria. I will not return there for maintenance even though it's the dealership closest to my home.

I discovered Alexandria Mercedes this fall and have purchased 2 new Benz from them. Danny Squires my sales person has been outstanding but I've had great experience with every arm of the organization. They have been honest and fair which is extremely rare in the Auto industry. These are my 7th and 8th Mercedes and I have not enjoyed the experience with most but this has been completely different. Service has been exceptional the two times I've used them as well.

Having owned an ML 430 for 17 years, and having had such a great experience with the service department at MBA, I knew that my next car would be purchased there. Typically I would want to shop around to be sure that I could get the best price. But I did not feel that this was necessary because Alvin Daniels, my New Car Representative was so honest and helpful in helping me to determine the best car and in helping me get a very good deal on the price. Since the inventory at the dealership is so large, I was able to find the exact color combination I wanted and I am SO happy, I love this car !!!I know that all the sales reps at MBA are good, but I can say that Alvin Daniels is wonderful and I highly recommend him if what you are looking for is an honest and friendly, knowledgeable salesman who will assist you rather than pressure you and he will always put your needs and desires first. This is the best experience I have ever had in purchasing a car, and when buying a luxury car, the quality and honesty of the people you deal with are very important. It's a major expense, and put a hole in my wallet.... but I love this car and I have buyers Glee !

From the very beginning he treated me with great respect as a serious buyer. He did not do a high pressure sales pitch or try to sell me something that I did not need or was not interested in. As a woman that constantly has to prove that I am no pushover it was refreshing to work with Mr. Daniels. Mr. Daniels is extremely knowledgeable in the functions of the E550 and S550 which were the vehicles I was looking at. Mr. Daniels was very patient with me as he answered all of my questions, and I ask a lot of questions! He never treated me as if I was a nuisance; he was always exceptionally pleasant and very charming. After much research and test driving both cars, I went with the S550. I am extremely pleased and totally satisfied with my choice selection. I visited several other dealerships but felt committed to Mercedes-Benz of Alexandria because of the time Mr. Daniels invested in me, he worked very hard to keep me engaged and conducted follow-up to ensure that all of my concerns were addressed to my full and complete satisfaction. Finding the right model with the specific options I was looking for is not easy for a used car. So I was excited to find a CPO with most of them. First, I specifically put contact by email only, for work reasons. But I had to include my cell to request information. Several missed messages and voicemails on my phone at the end of the day. When I finally did get an email, the sales person had to put me on hold for several minutes each time I asked a question. And finally, I was informed that they could only come down $500 from the MSRP, because "(their) prices are already so low." In short, unless you are willing to "just come over for a test drive", aka Let us up sell you, or buying one of the upper tier vehicles, you are just a waste of their time.

Great Experience at this Dealership purchasing a pre-owned Porsche SIGHT UNSEEN!!! Thanks to Avi Baider and the MB of Alexandria staff. I recently purchased a 2011 Porsche from MB of Alexandria. I was very interested in the car as it was the color and had the options I wanted. However as I live in California I was not able to personally inspect the vehicle and had to weigh placing my trust in the dealership vs. the time and expense of personally inspecting the vehicle. I developed an excellent relationship with my sales person, Avi Baider who patiently answered an endless array of questions, provided an excellent picture portfolio and who instilled a level of trust and confidence that eliminated my fears of purchasing a vehicle sight unseen. Through the purchasing process I also receive prompt and competent assistance from other members of the MB of Alexandria staff. Bryan Rickerson, Sales Manager, assisted with shipping when Mr. Baider was on vacation. Guadelupe and Kathy provide excellent and prompt support handling the payment, transferrin the cars documentation etc. Upon receipt of the vehicle, it was exactly as described and actually exceeded my expectations. In summary MB of Alexandria provided what we all want in a vehicle transaction: trust, integrity, fair pricing, no hassle and no games. The best recommendation I can give is that I would gladly return for my next vehicle purchase even though I live in California!

Do not schedule an appointment on Saturday - you may wait all morning and in my case, not even have the issue fixed the. In fact, after waiting two hours( I had an appointment by the way) I was sent on my way with no paperwork! Unbelievable. MB of Alexandria, you need better, more efficient service managers on Saturday who actually know what they're doing and not dismissive of customers. Note: You never know who your customer is and the impact you have on the service you give them, especially if it is poor.Be mindful of that.The dealership service employees(from the young woman who sits at the desk and gives no eye contact and has a scowl on her face to the indifferent service manager there on the weekend) are all rude, give you false "vehicle ready times" even though you have an appointment and in some cases and overall indifferent. This has happened twice to me. I've owned several Mercedes and had them serviced all over the country and this dealership is by far at the bottom of the rung when it comes to caring about customers. I've had stellar customer service treatment and then there's this at Mercedes Benz of Alexandria. It's sad actually -- I'm sure they lose thousands of dollars in business. Do yourself a favor if you value your time, find another reputable dealership in the Washington DC area.

I am mercedes owner since 2009. Trying to get my second mercedes benz from MBAI was interested on a 2007 Mercedes benz GL with 73000 miles on it. (trading my camaro ) Got the price set for $23000 on the fully loaded GL450. Saturday, I got there at 1pm and left the dealership at 6pm. Let me say i have a decent credit score. In 5 hours they could not tell me what was going on with the deal and what the deal was. The finance guy ran my credit saturday, then instead of telling me what was going on, he disappeared. They left me in the waiting room. The salesman kept running after him and at some point could not find himThe finance guy did not want to make the deal and did not want to tell me or the salesman what was going on. From a Mercedes benz I would call this discrimination because we are in america.They told me banks closed early because it is saturday. We will get it done on monday. Monday no one called me. They ran my credit both Saturday and monday; which made me loose points.Tuesday i call the salesman and he tells me that he will contact me when he gets to work and no one call me until today. it has been more than a week. Now the car is sold I am a business owner who owns both personal cars and financed company cars and Never in my life did i have an issue buying a vehicle or been treated this way by a dealership; especially what we call a premium dealership .I love 30 points on my credit and they flooded my report with inquiries. they did not need to run my credit on 2 different days for the same vehicle. I have to wait at least 30 days to get a vehicleWould not recommend

Most importantly, he asked what was most important to me and my family and then he walked us to "the car for me". It is important to note that Michael was very informative from the cars' specifications all the way to the finances and my comfortability with the car I choose. I felt no pressure just ease during this time. I felt like no other car sales person has ever been as sincere and took their time with me as he had. Simply put, Michael made us feel like family. After weeks of enjoying my car, my friends started to inquire about my experience. I was happy to know that I could assist. From these inquires, I referred one of my dearest friends to Michael, where she has become apart of the family too as well. All in all my experience has been great working with Michael. I went here to look and possibly purchase a used GLK (which I've known had been sitting on the lot for quite awhile (from Carfax)). Salesman Avi came out. He was very friendly. He told me he has a lady coming the next day at noon to look at the same vehicle. I told him I am hesitate because I don't want the lady to get angry if the car is sold. He didn't really care about her and said since I was there, he would sell it to me. I knew it was a game right there. There was no lady. What is the odd two people want the same car that is on the lot for quite awhile. I played along. We went out to a test drive. We came back to 'negotiate.' We came down to about $900 difference. He went to talk to his 'manager.' He came back and offered me a different GLK at the price we were negotiating. This GLK has no option as compared to the one I tested drove. And of course, this one sits on the lot even longer (again from Carfax). I said no. He kept saying the car I wanted is a 'hot' model (i.e. color combo) and everyone wants that one. In fact, he again said the lady is coming the next day to look at it. I knew he was shady and told him to call me 'tomorrow' if that deal felt thru. Of course he called me the next day, an hour earlier than his appointment with the lady, and left me a message. I knew there is NO way I can give him my hard earned money. He left me another message and found my email from previous purchase (I did buy a convertible from this dealer a few years ago). I equivocally said "NO."

I have been going to Benz of Alexandria for over 6 years. Overall the service has been good but my last experience has been less than pleasant. I took my car in because the engine light was on and Benz replaced the thermostat. I picked up the car the next day and when I got home I noticed that my car custom grille was broken. I called Steve Ong and I was told to bring the car back so they could take a look at it and review the pictures they took when I dropped the car off. The pictures did not reveal any damage to the grille and I couldnt believe that Benz wouldnt see that a piece of the grille was missing. Steve had to notify the service manager and not only JOHN PETRONIO did not express any sympathy but he asked me if I had previously repaired and glued the grille together on the left side. First, I wouldnt glue a grille on a Benz and secondly the piece missing was on the right side. He categorically dismissed any wrong doing from his mechanics and told me that it could have happened in the carwash? The last person to wash the car was a Benzs employee! John finally agreed to replace the grille and asked me if I could purchase the part with my credit card!? Since it was an aftermarket part I had to spend hours on the internet and make numerous phone calls to Benz but John never asked nor does he believe that I should get some type of compensation for my inconvenience. It does not stop there! They purchased a new custom grille and painted it but when I picked up the car I noticed some unpainted areas. John initial response was to use touch up paint! I cant believe that a premium car dealership would handle business in such a poor manner. I called DEAN HARNEY (service director) twice and never got a call back. It makes me wonder if Benz of Alexandria is providing service to their customers based on their financial and/or ethnic profile.

We did not feel like we were being rushed into making a decision on whether or not to buy the vehicle. My car has been serviced by Mercedes-Benz of Alexandria for about 5 years. I've always received the best service--correct diagnosis and have not had to return the car to re-do a service. I've also been given out-of-warranty service for no charge or reduced charge when it was discovered that the maintenance should have been discovered during the warranty period. I'm especially pleased that for overnight service, the company has instituted the loaner system rather than having to rent a car. Of course, the cost for that is built into the final service cost. But sometimes you pay for convenience. Concerning pricing, I chose N/A because Mercedes Benz's are expensive to maintain, if taken to a dealership. David Johnson is my service manager and I'm pleased with his attention to the maintenance I've had over the years.

I visited Mercedes Benz of Alexandria to purchase a pre-owned Mercedes Benz GL 450 SUV. Sales Associate Michael Prati and the management staff at the dealership were very accommodating. Even though we arrived just a few minutes before closing and in a driving rainstorm, Michael brought the vehicle down for use to look over. He accompanied us on a test drive and even opened up their closed service center so that we could inspect the vehicle in a dry location.We left the dealership that evening, over an hour after their closing time, without completing a deal on the GL but returned the following morning to drive the SUV again. Given the improved weather conditions, Michael led us on an extensive test drive and explained the features/systems of the GL. Sales Manager Camron Hamedi and Finance Director Dave Hanbury were also very helpful in getting the deal done. It was a low pressure environment and Mr. Hanbury had my wife and I out of the finance office very quickly.I am fairly new to Mercedes Benz ownership, but Mercedes Benz of Alexandria will be my first stop for my future vehicle needs.Thanks guys!

My family has been shopping for cars for the past several weeks. We happened to drive by your dealership last Saturday (6/8/13), stopped in and met Michael Prati. We drove two cars, C300 and GLK 350. Horst Von Schilling has been my Service Manager going back to my first Mercedes (2002 C-320) to him servicing currently my wife's GLK-350 and My sport model, SLK-280, and we have been so blessed to have him as our Service Manager. This sounds over-reaching, but when I can send my wife into having the cars serviced, it is saying that she and I have complete faith in his suggestions and word of the required car maintenance that my wife enjoys his expert advise coupled with the very nice surroundings of the dealership. Horst has almost become part of the family as we talk travel, to sharing the same real estate agents. His work on our Mercedes have been outstanding. As we all know, Saturday is reserved for appointments only but the gentleman at the service station did not turn me away. There was no hassle with taking my vehicle in and replacing the light bulb. I was referred to this dealer by a long time friend. Stopped by randomly on the weekend and unfortunately, the person I was told to contact (Lowell Duckett) was out for the day. I was passed over to another salesman (Shawn Moore) to talk about the cars and dealership. Lowell actually stopped while on his way somewhere else during his day off to introduce himself and apologize for not being available. I really appreciated that personal touch and respect.After he left, I restated to Shawn that I was looking at pre-owned in model years 2010-11 and gave him my price range. He suggested I look at leasing one of the new cars b/c he could get me in a 2013 with lease payments for the same as the purchase payments. He took me on a good test ride and spoke some more about the new car. After leaving, I decided I really didn't want to lease since I plan to keep this vehicle for 5-10 yrs. I emailed Sean and told him what my criteria was and asked him to check his pre-owned inventory. The response I receive stated that the options I was looking for were not available in the 2011 model year. This was disappointing since I previously test drove several models that had the options I requested. Either the salesman was being incredible pushy about getting me into a 2013 or didn't know much about the recent history of the model. In my response, I stated that I had looked at cars that included those options. Since I felt he was pushing me to the lease which i didn't want, i ended my relationship with the dealership.The dealership itself is a very nice facility and looks state of the art but unfortunately, the interaction with the (new car) sales man was really disappointing and prevented me from returning. A month later I purchased the vehicle from another dealer...

I had my Mercedes Benz GL 350 serviced at Mercedes Benz of Alexandria last month and my service advisor is David Johnsn. Mr. Johnson is one of the most knowledgable service advisor there. I had a nosie issue with my vehicle which I was not sure exactly where the noise was coming from. Mr. Johnson along with the technician worked diligently together to find the problem and had my vehicle fixed withn a reasonable amount of time. I visited Mercedes of Alexandria to purchase a pre-owned vehicle they had in stock. I met with Michael Prati who was very helpful and knowledgable of the car I bought. He was very friendly and gave my girlfriend and I the courtesy we look for when shopping for a vehicle. He allowed us to talk it over and did not push the sale on us. Mike is definitely someone I will send anyone in the market for a pre-owned vehicle to see. Debbie Hannon was also very helpful with our finance process, she was very efficient and got all the necessary paperwork done in a timely manner. Debbie is also very nice and willing to help with any questions we have. Overall the dealership was very nice and a comfortable place to do business. I would recommend Mercedes of Alexandria for anyone in the market for a new or used Mercedes as well as other preowned vehicles.

When I sat down to write this review, I wasnt sure how to say what I wanted. I have never had a problem articulating my point; however, In this case it seemed to be a little overwhelming. I cant sing Carlo's praises enough. He is dependable, honest and loyal. I truly have never met a person with a bigger heart with a greater desire to please and make people smile. 3 years ago, I accidentally found him while I was looking for a car. My husband at the time left me and I had nothing to my name. No credit, no money. And he took the only car we had. Until I got a lawyer, I had to do what I could to get by. (As you know, settlements take a very long time) Well, Carlo didnt realize my situation when he called me back, and I was honest when I told him, I probably could not afford a Mercedes, I just needed a car to get to work and back. He felt so bad for me with my situation that he talked to HIS boss Lowell. Im not sure how they did it but they figured out a way to work with my credit and the down payment so that I could drive away in the very car that I fell in love with. (Not even sure I test drove it!) So for the very first time in my life, I had something of my very own thanks to these two guys. The Mercedes Benz of Alexandria is not just a dealership, its an amazing experience. I feel like a part of a team or clique when I come in. It feels good when people recognize you, and treat you well. Every so often I go in for basic maintenance and such and never feel like Im being swindled. Most times, the work is covered under warranty anyways, but its nice as a woman to not feel scared of being ripped off. If I ever need anything Carlo goes above and beyond to help me. He has taken care of me though these years, and as the years progress, I look forward to new cars with him. If you want your Mercedes buying experience a complete pleasure, go find Carlo at MercedesatAlexandria.When I first researched for my 2013 ML350, I visited all the dealers in the DC metro area. Some of them simply didn't have good knowledge of the vehicle, e.g. could't tell the difference between a 19" and 20" wheel; some were just arrogant; some were not enthusiastic; some lacked the persisting pursue...until I ran into Carlo. He was actually pretty far from me, and I only went to his dealership because they had a vehicle of the color I like. However this causal encounter started a magic journey!Carlo first impressed me with his detailed knowledge of the ML. Small things like turning on the 3-D view of the map, closing windows after the car was shut off with the remote, and turning off lengthy traffic announcement from the navigation system...things like this showed his attention to details and his in depth knowledge about the vehicle, as well as his dedication. This gave me good confidence that I am dealing with an expert. He also let me sit in the car for hours so I could get a feeling about it and foster some emotional relationship with the vehicle. This turned out to be very important for me to make the purchase decision.When I continued my research, Carlo consistently got in touch with me every so often, while other dealers seemed to have forgotten me. I also discovered by accident that Carlo has the most favorable reviews on this forum, compared to all other dealers in this area, and he didn't even mention that to me. Since I would need to order a custom build, some of the quotes I got were not very favorable. So, in no time I put down the deposit and shake hands with Carlo and his boss, and the deal was sealed. Never before my car buying experience was such a breeze, and I only discovered it actually could be fun at this time :) I placed the order on Thanksgiving eve and boy what a peaceful holiday I have enjoyed!Then came the wait for the car to be made. Carlo surprised me with a much earlier completion date. I felt before I even started the wait, the car was here :) When I went pick it up, I found Carlo has kept it in the garage, well protected from the wintry weather (which was a worry for me), and not letting anyone get close to it or touch it. My parents bought a surprise Christmas present for me here. After the initial shock of the surprise the only other thing they could talk about was how wonderful their purchasing experience was. I took my car in for service as I usually do. They do a fantatsic job in looking over the veh and letting you know what if anything is need of repair or replcement W/O trying to get you to do it now!!! There was some slight confusion when I made the appointment. The receptionist gave me a 8:30 slot and I said I would be dropping it off at 7am (had to go to work)but she insisted my appt was 8.30. No problem when I droped it off. And they gave it the well needed washing. life is good. Greta service shop, freindly reps, free shuttle to/from Metro.

I had my car towed to the dealer and they called me the next day first thing in the morning to let me know that they will check my car and let me know what was the problem. They called me in the afternoon to tell me the problem and it was repaired to my satisfaction. When I picked up my car the staff was very helpful and provided me with great customer service.

I took my 2012 GLK into the dealership without an appointment due to warranty issue, which turned out to be a non-issue. My service advisor, David, was very accomdating and got me in right away. Since the "manintenance needed" message indicated service was due in a 100 miles I also asked them to perform the scheduled maintenance, which they did. I was provided a rental car free of charge and my GLK was ready to pick up early the following afternoon. The vehicle also had been washed and vacuumed when it was delivered to me. Overall a very good experience and excellent service advisor.

We received excellent service from this dealership from the scheduling through pick up. Each time our car has been serviced we have been given a list of "things to watch for" and an estimate for the cost. This was quite helpful in budgeting for the work to be done. The service dept. has been straightforward about what repairs are urgent and which items can wait. Also, the price for purchase and installation of a set of tires was as reasonable as any other service provider in the area. The shuttle to Metro also minimized any commuting difficulties.

When we took our new Mercedes-Benz E-550 to the dealer for an atypical problem, the service manager, John Petronio, spent more than an hour with us, driving the car and really listening to our concerns. During this time, Mr. Petronio also explained and demonstrated some of the car's special features we had not fully understood and used. He could not have been more helpful or eager to resolve our concerns. Then the technical staff found the clamp on the axle boot was missing. The dealer did not just replace the clamp, but ordered parts and replaced the entire axle shaft, stating they wanted to do a "through" repair. Being senior citizens, who have owned numerous, luxury cars of various brands, we have never encountered better or more comprehensive service. I took my 1998 C230 to MBA because my local tire store was unable to align the tires to spec. MBA checked the vehicle and explained why the adjustments were acceptable. They initially charged me for the alignment (about $50 less than the tire store!) but in response to some minor complications they gave me a loaner car while they reexamined my car and also refunded the alignment charge. As is aparently their standard practice, they washed and vacuumed the car so it was cleaner than it had been in months. Their service was exceptionally professional and they clearly know their stuff. I will not hesitate to take my car to them for my future repair needs.

I had an unexpected problem and they got me in the same day, provided me with transportation and called prompted with the diagnosis of the problem and price. I was able to have the car repaired in 24 hours. A big plus since I have used them since owning my car, but now live out of state and just happened to be in town. They do not forget their customers and the service is always top-notch. In the 10 years I have owned my car, I have never had a service problem.

I bought my CLK 320 from Mercedes-Benz of Alexandria in 2006. It had previously been on a 3-year lease, and I was skeptical but I wanted it. It looked like new and I have not had any problems with it, other than normal wear and tear. I have had it serviced only by this dealership, and the car has over 90,000 miles on it, yet it performs like new. For services, I make appointments, but if I have a small repair, I just drive up to the garage and they take me immediately. Many times I have not had to wait, but at any time when I could not wait, I was always given a loaner or a rental car. The customer service is great. If it can be fixed on the spot, they do it. The advice has always been honest. The personnel are always polite, pleasant and professional. When I decide to buy a new car, it will be from this dealership.

I purchased my C350 here in 2010 and have brought it in for service as well. The service is high quality and they are good about working around your schedule. I've also brought my car in without notice when a tire blew out and they repaired it the next morning. The waiting room is also very nice. It includes desks where you can work on a laptop (if you bring one with you). I would definitely recommend this location for purchasing and servicing a vehicle.

Their attention to customer satisfaction exceeds expectations. My personal representative explains any needed repairs in clear, understandable detail. Owning a Mercedes and being a frugal consumer seems an oxymoron, but when you know your getting what you pay for, it makes plenty of cents. Bryan Rickerson was the salesman who sold me the car. Bryan truly cared about my needs more so then just trying to sell me a car. I went in looking for a convertible, but Bryan helped me find the perfect car for me. This past October my wife really wanted an SUV. Knowing the cost of an SUV from Mercedes we shopped around at Jeep, Ford, even BMW, but of course ended up going back to see Bryan and drove off in an ML350. Not only have I been sold 2 great cars that held up as promised, but Mercedes of Alexandria is the only place I have had my cars serviced. They always are welcoming when you come in and offer a rental car on their dime. They wash and clean the inside of the car when you bring it in for service. They provide the level of service and personal care you would expect from Mercedes. As long as I can continue to afford to drive a Mercedes it will be the only place I go for cars and service. If you are looking for a car go see Bryan I guarantee he will find you the perfect new ride.

I took my car in for a free 25 point inspection and as a result, it was determined that I had some serious safety issues that needed to be addressed. I had a subsequent conversation with my service rep who explained the pros and cons of what to address immediately. Based on her advise, I decided to have everything on thie inspection list repaired immediately. I got my car back today and It handles like a new one. I am so pleased with the relationship that I have with both my service rep and the tech who works on my vehicle. They both are two great professional who know their craft. Also, the newly renovated building provides for a comfortable area for their customers. My sales rep Carlo Genao has been great during my first lease term with Mercedes. He contacted me every other month for two and a half years to ask if things were going well with me and my C300. When I was eligible to exchange my car, he contacted me to remind me. I ended up getting a E350 and I'm really happy with it. I was also happy with the service department. I dropped my car there twice during the term of my lease and they were fantastic. I was able to get a loaner once at last minute on a Saturday after the car rental employee had already left for the day. Management at this dealer is also really good. Lowell Ducket is a great GM and he was able to negotiate a price with me that best met my financial demands. He and Carlo worked with me till I was comfortable with my new deal.

I've been working with Carlo for over 4 years now. He was the reason why I purchased a Mercedes in the first place instead of a BMW (the sales associate was such an a**hole!) or a Jaguar. He is also helped us in the decision to get an SUV instead of a sedan. His passion, his knowledge, his clear admiration, and his respect for the fine machine was infectious. He taught us so much about the car and how it's many features could make our life so much easier. Unfortunately, he wasn't working at MB of Alexandria at that time and since the dealer that he was working at did not provide us with the USAA discount, we had to find another dealer. That's how we ended up at MB of Alexandria. One month after we bought our precious ML 350, I ran into Carlo in the showroom. Boy! Was I upset that I did not know that he transferred to MB of Alexandria just a week earlier because my husband and I so wanted to buy our car from him. No worries though because we would see him frequently during our service visits at the dealership. He was always happy to see us, was always personable, and made us feel like old friends. Well, just 3 days ago, my husband and I were finally able to do what we wanted to do exactly 3 years earlier, buy a car from Carlo. First, he helped us decide on whether to purchase an extended warranty for our current ML or to get a new ML, he then helped us decide whether to get a new 2012 or to wait an order the 2013, and then he was able to locate a 2012 in the process of being finished with the options that we wanted and more (gotta say, husband's right. That pano roof is something I love best about the car). The car arrived sooner than we expected and so starts the financing stage. Carlo was able to pull in discounts for us and get us a REALLY awesome deal. He was even able to work with his Sales Manager, Lowell, to get us an even better deal. This is what a new car buying experience should be like. People should take note of Ron Rodriquez - because they could learn how to sell cars. I met Ron at the DC Auto show and from that moment he had me. He never made me feel obligated to do anything. The subsequent weeks after the auto show, he would follow up with me - but never in a way that forced me to come into the dealership. He made it seem as if he was there to help me make an informed decision about buying a car in general, not just a MB. So, once Saturday went in to look and next thing you know, I was driving off the lot with a new C-Class -- and I have not looked back since. Another great thing about Ron is, that he has continued to follow up with me and make sure everything is going well with the car. I am telling all of my friends that are in the market for me MB, to buy their car from Ron.

Upon recommendation from Anthony, one of the best Service Advisors I have ever had pleasure to work with, he recommended that I purchase the MB Service Plan. He took time to price out the cost comparisons if I paid for each service individually versus purchasing the 3 year/30k maintenance pacakge directly from MBUSA. John Petronio helped to clarify the confusions about the mileage and start/stop dates of the coverage and called me back twice to confirm I understood the contract details and benefits. Debbie and Dave took exceptional care to write the contract and help to add it to my plan. Again, I cannot say enough about the tight ship of professionals Mr. Stohlman has on his sales, service, and finance staff! He did a super job of explaining the car's features and personalizing settings when I picked up the car. He is always available for questions and treats each one as important. Mr. Genao keeps in touch by email, which I appreciate. I would buy my next Mercedes from Mr. Genao and recommend him to friends.My car battery was dead yesterday morning (my error). I texted Mr. Genao, he arranged roadside assistance in just a few minutes, and my car was running in less than an hour. This is exceptional customer service. I have driven a Mercedes since 2005 and have only needed required maintenance, so I don't have a lot of experience with service--vehicles are very reliable. From visits I have made to service, personnal were organized, professional, and courteous. I appreciate the quick in/out, accurate times for service completion, free car washes, and comfortable waiting area. Very well managed, making car repair easy and efficient. I absolutely hate shopping for a new (at least to me) car. This dealership changed my mind about what the experience could be like. First, and most importantly, I got a very good deal on the car I wanted. It is in terrific shape and has very low mileage. They clearly only stock quality cars. They were polite, not pushy, and the next time I want to buy another car, they are they first place I will look. I live on the other side of the city and the trip was well worth it. My husband and I actually left the dealership smiling!

Both Bryan and Debbie gave me stellar service. Debbie was the best financial manager I have ever worked with. She is very knowledgeable in this department, an very patient. She explained everything thoroughly and gave me the best possible deal on the loan (which is more than I can say for the Mercedes Benz in Tysons) She is very honest and thoughtful and works the best rates for your needs. She will not rush you to get you out. When you dont understand something, she will explain it until the sun comes down, and you finally do understand everything. I bought an SLK from Bryan, and he honestly knows every little detail about this car. He follows up dependably even to this day (almost a month after I bought the car). He will answer everything with even more detail than you asked for. He was a blast to work with (a swing dancer of 10 years.. he is genuine, funny and a great sense of humor). I did quite a bit of research on Edmunds and other similar sites + talked to people in the industry and he did get me a better deal than I could have wished for. also very patient and open to all of my requests. He goes out of his way to get you what you need. Both Bryan and Debbie know their stuff inside and out. You wont feel like a number with whom they can make the most money off of. with these two, you feel appreciated and respected as a person. I recommend this store to anyone who is looking for a car. You dont need to worry about them trying to bamboozle you, as a matter of fat its quite the opposite. They are top notch!

I bought a 2007 ML 320 CDI in May 2010 with a Certified Pre-Owned Warranty. Within a week, the fuel pump went out. I brought the car back and wanted my money back or a different, equal car; MB is supposed to have a 7 day return policy. Instead they tried to strong arm me into taking an inferior vehicle for my needs for MORE money. I wasn't buying that, but made them fix the car.When I took the car in for its first service, they told me it would cost $300 TO FIND OUT WHAT IT NEEDED--plus the service cost. Thankfully I was referred to a great MB mechanic who had to do an extensive service (finding out things like the air filters had never been changed), but charged me less than the plug-in fee. Today, I took it back to fix manufacturer defects in the trim while its under warranty(bubbling/cracking) and was told I would have an $1800 bill (for warranty work?!). NEVER BUY ANYTHING HERE!

I've owned my Mercedes CL55 for over 5yrs now. I used to service my car at HBL Mercedes in Tysons Corner. My favorite salesman has since left there and I decided to try out Mercedes of Alexandra - as well as the location is better for me. I was given Carlo Genao as a contact name in sales. He called me before I had a chance to call him. He was very responsive and helpful. He told me which Service rep. I would be working with....and, that was John Petronio. Well, John called me about the time I wished to schedule a service visit. Again, I was pleasantly surprised at how responsive everyone was. John is exceptional. I'm sure of this b/c he was on the tech.side of this car business for several yrs; he listened to my unique circumstances(out of the country 6mos. a year/car is not driven and low mileage)and, didn't give me the standard line. After the car was checked over thoroughly, he called me and gave me some options to work with. I appreciated his candor and professionalism. I will be bringing my business to Mercedes of Alexandria because of folks like Carlo(who, again f/up after my visit) and John who gave me his time and attention. Kathy was absolutely divine to work with. She is an exceptional sales person and the consummate professional. Kathy made my buying experience as a first time buyer seamless. She explained all the incentives thoroughly and took the time to answer all of my questions considering the fact that I had quite a few. I was not able to get all the information, i.e, the differences in the numerous models I needed from the web site, so Kathy made sure I was getting exactly what I expected in the 2010 C300 4 Matic. She made sure all of the controls were set for me including my phone. Brilliant!!! I was asked by numerous individuals about my overall experience with Mercedes Benz of Alexandria and the sales persons I worked with. I must say I was more than happy to share my total experience with them including the friendly reception I received from the moment I arrived at the dealership. While waiting on my vehicle to be serviced I ventured onto the sales floor. Carlo Genao quickly approached and was eager to assist. I found Carlo to be an extremely professional and knowledgeable sales representative. I advised Carlo that I would not be in the market to purchase a new vehicle until next year. Instead of losing interest, Carlo seemed more willing to assist and educate me as car buyer. I can honestly say that when I am ready to purchase my next Mercedes Benz, I will seek out Carlo as my sales representative for his expertise and charming personality. I have used the Mercedes-Benz American Service Center in Arlington several times and each time I was very unsatisfied with the courtesy and respect of the service advisor! Issue were: emission test was never done but I was charged for it, needed return visit to repair oil leak although I was told it was resolved, giving incomparable rental (dirty Toyota Camry), told by a manager that those who originally purchased their vehicle from American Service Center receives better service.

I brought my '08 E350 in for repair of the intermittent "ESP Inoperative" alert that occasionally appeared in the dashboard. Fearing the worst that there would be a gremlin that would never be found, I was very pleasantly surprised when Eddie informed me there was a "black box" in the car that records all malfunctions. Sure enough, they found a code which advised that a sensor behind the steering wheel was defective. Replacing the sensor had me back in my car before the end of the day.The point here is all personnel were extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles which are becoming more technically challenging every year and were able to make an expeditious repair. Eddie and Rick are very friendly service people who genuinely leave you with the feeling that you and your car are the most important things to them.

Overall, I was not impressed by the level of service at this dealership. I initially called the dealership to inquire about buying a new car. The person who answered the phone took my contact information, and although I said I would be in next week or two to look at the cars, the salesperson kept emailing, calling my cell phone, and leaving message after message. When I went in to look at the cars, that salesperson was not in, so I was helped by another salesperson, who I very much liked. At the end of the test drive, I told her I would love to continue working with her on the purchase. However, when I went back outt here to discuss price, she indicated I was going to be dealing with the intial person. After negotiating on the price for quite a while, we finally arrived at a deal, at which point I was sent in to speak with the sales manager, who I found to be very arrogant and quite honestly not very pleasant to deal with. His tone was cocky--as if he was doing me some favor by selling me the car. In the end, I agreed to purchase the car and set an appointment to come in to pick it up 2 days later. That day, I arrived at the dealership on time, only to find out the car I wanted had arrived damaged and was thus not availabe. Why did no one call me to tell me that? I drove 45 minutes to get there that day and had cleared my Sunday schedule. They told me they had the same car I wanted, only 4WD rather than 2WD available and that they could bring it in from the other dealership within an hour or so. I reluctantly agreed to wait. During that time, no one seemed at all apologetic about my having to spend my entire afternoon waiting while they fixed their mistake. I ended up being there for 4 hours, which left me with a bad taste for the entire process. Overall, I would not recommend this dealership to others looking to buy a Mercedes in the area.

My experience at Mercedes Benz of Alexandria went extremely smooth. I didn't think it could ever be that easy to purchase a car without a lot of hassles. I guess the fact that we knew exactly what car we wanted and our price range, it really helped. We had been pre-approved and that made it easier as well; although we ended up going with Mercedes Benz financing because we got a lower rate. Our sales person Carlo was really helpful and knowledgeable of the car. He didn't try to get over on us, or give us something we didn't ask for. He basically made the sale a smooth transition. I have no regrets of my experience with Mercedes Benz of Alexandria.

After 8 months of car shopping I met many sales representatives but Carlo was by far the nicest and most honest, and he also gave me the best price. After we left from our first test drive our whole family commented, "even if we don't buy the car, Carlo is the best salesman around." He is not high pressure sales and is very knowledgeable. This is my third benz..two of which were purchased at Mercedes Benz of Alexandria dealership in the past 7 years. Carlo Genao is our salesperson who has become a good friend. From the first time we met Carlo he was very friendly as well as extremely helpful. I didn't feel like I was being pressured into purchasing a vehicle nor harassed, and when I did decide on the vehicle I wanted to purchase, Carlo took the time to show me how to work all the equipment. Needless to say I did receive a good price and wow also a good rate on the purchase of this vehicle. Since the purchase of my vehicle Carlo has called me several times not only to make sure everything is going well with my GL 450 but other times just to say hello and see how me and my husband are doing. This is the first time I have purchased a vehicle and had a salesperson that want to keep in contact with his customers after the purchase of their vehicle for any service needs or questions which arise. As a matter of fact, I just had a rear DVD entertainment center installed in my GL 450 which he personally made the setup the arrangement and made the appointment and after the install gave me step-by-step instructions on how to work the system. Never had I known a dealership that after you purchase a vehicle the salesperson still remembers your name. I brought my vehicle almost 2 months ago at Mercedes Benz of Alexandria and not only Carlo, but all the sales managers and several other salespersons not only remember me and my husband's faces, but remember our names. If you ever decide you are interested in purchasing a vehicle, whether new or used, I highly recommend purchasing your vehicle at Mercedes Benz of Alexandria and please make sure you see Carlo Genao. You won't go wrong with either one.

Jerry Cho was extremely professional and LISTENED to what we were interested in.He did not try to sell us something we did not want or need. He was very patient with us and did not try to put the HARD SEll ON US. In fact, when I first test drove and met Jerry in October I told him that I wanted to wait until March to purchse ...he said no problem. He made one call to us in earlt March and told him I woudl return at the end of the month....I had soem personal issues to deal with....again he said no problem. At the end of March I came back and purchased the car.

I recently bought a C-class sedan from MBofA. We had a few good offers from other dealerships, but they were able to match the lowest price. We're local to the MBofA dealership, so we were glad we could purchase from the local dealership. We bought the car from Jerry Chao, who was courteous, friendly, and answered all our questions. Before we left the dealership, Jerry showed us how to work the car's Comand system and set up Bluetooth for the phones.The financing group was also very helpful and did not try to push options on us that we didn't want to purchase. They explained each option, then left it up to us to decide what we wanted to purchase. I also traded in my old vehicle and the process was quick, straightforward, and painless. Overall, a very good experience.

Carlo Genao is the bomb. The true professional and he has a heck of a lot of knowledge on my favorite brand Mercedes-Benz. His know how really brought the GLK series to life. I bought a nice white GLK. He made the love connection happen between me and my new SUV. I was a previous E class owner however the features and new technologies Carlo showed me made me fall for the GLK series. I really am enjoying the back up camera, large moon roof, Satellite Radio, and extra smooth handling. I can go on and on. Carlo followed up with me and was very welcoming and friendly. Shawn Moore is a snake oil salesman. He was very dishonest and shady. I asked him up front to be honest because of a bad experience at Lexus. His behavior was very unprofessional and shady. His boss Andre is not as bad, but their practices are not okay. He told me my payment would be a certain amount but when I went to the finance office they told me a different amount.

The sales and service at this dealership is an absolute disgrace to the Mercedes Benz name. Mercedes is synonymous with luxury, quality, and class, or at least one would think so...What went from a routine maintenance to an absolute nightmare is an understatement. I have never dealt with such incredibly unprofessional people in my entire life! Clearly this starts from the top with the General Manager, Jim Stohlman, all the way down to the service specialist, Horst Von Shilling. The problem that lies within this dealership is that once you purchase a vehicle from them, they wash their hands of you and could care less about the consumer. In an economy that is lacking and an auto industry that is under a tremendous amount of scrutiny, one would think that customer service would be a top priority in order to gain new sales or referrals; however, this dealership does not operate that way. Rather than seeing the longevity of a repeat client, a referral source, or simple maintenance (which costs $300 or more, on average, per trip!), Jim Stohlman and his staff are money hungry for new sales and nothing else. There is more to sales than the purchase of a new vehicle, Mr. Stohlman, and that is something called relationship building with your clientele. Perhaps you should go back to Sales and Customer Service 101!!!The GM of Mercedes Benz of Alexandria not only did not apologize for the insufficiencies in his staff, he all but called me, the paying client, a liar. When multiple attempts were made over several days to find out the status of my car, pardon me if it is a little frustrating to get no answers. On average, every time I called there it would take 6 to 7 times of the operator connecting me to the service department because no one would answer the phone. Then once connected, I left multiple voice mails with no return phone calls. My service specialist, Horst, had 3 phone numbers to get a hold of me and tried telling me that there were messages left. Between all of those numbers, I never had 1 message from him. Then the GM, Stohlman, has the audacity, at the end of a frustrating experience to tell me to check my messages. I ask, what kind of business does this man operate? I have never experienced such insulting treatment in my life, especially after having spent so much money on my vehicles with this dealership. I have filed a formal complaint with Mercedes Benz USA and the Better Business Bureau. I do hope that it does not fall on deaf ears, but the least I can do at this time is to get the word out there that this dealership is the WORST representation of Mercedes Benz. Do yourself a favor and anyone else you may know, I highly recommend STAYING AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! SAVE YOURSELF THE FRUSTRATION!!!

This is the WORST dealership I have ever worked with in my life! I bought 2 cars from them and once they got the sales, they didn't give a damn! The SERVICE is by far the WORST I have ever experienced!!! It is impossible to get anyone on the phone to speak with. You leave multiple voice mails and no one ever returns your calls. They charge you for services that were NEVER rendered! I didn't spend all this money to get bad service! This is service I would expect from GM or one of the other poorly managed car companies. You purchase luxury, you expect luxury in return by means of outstanding customer service. I will NEVER buy another car from this dealership again!!!

My wife and I feel we were robbed.In January 2007 we bought a 2002 E320 w/38K miles on it.Now, it is January 2008 and our car has 48K miles on it but..we've had to replace the battery and alternator. We've just been told that the car has a burnt out wiring harness for the front lights, the front ballbearing joints need replacement, the transmission seals leak and need to be replaced, the oil sensor leaks and need to be replaced. Now, to make matters worse...we were told we purchased an Elite plus service warranty but we were given a Standard warranty. The repairs were not covered under the standard warranty. Oops..the ball bearing joints were covered. WOW! My problem is that we were mislead and sold some garbage. I've NEVER had a car that had so much wrong with it within the first year of ownership. I guess if it isn't certified then it is some BS.The are running on reputation and not substance. The best part of their outfit is the rental car clerk....matter of fact..he doesn't work for MBofA. Never Mind. A Very Unhappy Customer...AC & MH-C
