My second visit to Dothan Mercedes confirmed my first impressions. Service is alive and well in the South! The 350 SUV and I were treated in a manner I would compare to a good 4 star resort.Brooke is fantastic in coordinating my needs. Coming from an hour and a half away, accuracy is important. Steve is available and very tuned to the value of time and money. The service area itself is worthy of executive jet use, immaculate and very organized.I look forward to a long friendship with Mercedes of Dothan and will actively try to advance their business.Sincerely, Mitch Oakley of Lynn Haven, Fl.

Ive had 3 different Mercedes and have gone to at least 5 different dealerships for service. Dothan Mercedes is by far the worst customer service (in service department). Steve the manager does not return calls, or show concern about customer issues. Ive dealt with Tony and Brooke. In my opinion, they seem to just tolerate me. Ive brought my car to Dothan on several occasions as i always hey service from dealership, but being they are the only dealer in town, im pretty much stuck. I think they know it, because they surely act like it! My experience in other dealerships had been phenomenal. As a matter of fact let me back up and clarify something, Bruce Howard who used to work in service dept is EXCELLENT! He should be the standard not the exception. He needs to teach the service team (including the manager Steve) how to treat ALL customers. Ive had one or two other small issues that a regular dealership would never be so petty handling, but because it didn't cost me too much, ill leave this rating based on customer service alone.

Never had an experience like this before. Took my car in for B service. Showed the service writer photographs of 3 different screens taken from the screen in my car when GPS was not working properly . Was told by service manager I would have to return to the dealership when the message was on the screen I explained that would be impossible because the messages do not remain on the screen. The service manager explained that if they made the wrong diagnosis and replaced the wrong part the factory would charge them for the incorrectly replaced part. This left the problem squarely on my shoulders. After research they said they found a possible update that might fix my problem. I felt after my 10 minute conversation with the service manager and him explaining how thorough the investigation was into my problem by his ASE certified technician and there was no option given me at the time except returning with the problem actively on the screen. I felt the change of heart was because of very negative reviews. There were several text messages exchanged and I felt the solution offered my fix my car but would not restore my feeling to ward the attitude displayed by the dealership service manager. I said this in my last text message. Once again it was pointed out to me the problem was mine because I must have misunderstood what the service manager said. It was not the cost of the charge back but his concern over not fixing my car is why he took the position. The simple fix to this destroyed relationship would have been for the service manager or employees of Mercedes of Dothan to say we handled this poorly from the beginning lets start over. Today I took my car to the Mercedes Dealership in Jacksonville. I was treated like a valued customer by David the service Manager and Ray the service writer. Davids solution was to have me email the pictures to the service writer so they could be attached to the work order as documentation for warranty purposes. Jacksonville knows how to treat customers. As I sat and listened in the waiting room their customer service to all customers was second to none.

got my new GL350 but in 2 weeks the pressure sensors on two tires and the front seat adjuster stopped functioning. I called Mercedes Dothan explained the problem also explained that i will be coming from 70 miles away and was told no problem bring in the car. Getting to the dealership i sat for an hour and half and was told they did not have the parts come again i felt totally dismissed by the service manager having no choice i came back home . 3 weeks later i was told the parts are in and i can bring the car back and the whole process will take 2 hours . I drove yet again 70 miles and dropped off the car . 4 hours later i called the dealership and was told that the car was finally ready. The service manager was totally unapologetic and told me that their technicians take a lunch break and taking two tires on and off the car takes a long time .

I purchased a slightly used 2014 vehicle from Nick Harris. He was extremely helpful in finding the car I wanted and answered all my questions, and gave me a good deal. Best of all, I am extremely happy with my purchase! I would recommend, if you are looking for a new or used car, see Nick, you won't be disappointed.

I took in my Dodge branded Sprinter RV to this dealership. I was met by Howard Bruce. Howard got me into the system quickly and then had the technician working on my problem even before the paperwork was complete. I was totally impressed. It turned out that my Dodge branded warranty did not qualify at a Mercedes-Benz dealership even though the engine and drive train were Mercedes-Benz. That didn't stop Howard Bruce from providing me with excellent customer service. He went out of his way to try and find a dealer that could service me. Meanwhile, the technician came back with the problem and the fix. Howard priced it out for me in the event that I could not get warranty on the repair. With all the help I got at this dealership, plus the fact they didn't even charge me for reading the code and the help they provided makes the decision to revisit this service facility once warranty has expired a real easy one. I will be back!

I don't often take thae time to write a testimonial unless the the product and/or service far exceeds my expectations. Such is the case with Mercedes-Benz of Dothan, AL. I recently leased a new 2014 SL550 from this dealership. I have purchased many cars over the past five decades of my life, and no dealership has even come close to the care and attention of the Dothan Mercedes-Benz dealership. In fact, I drove 200 miles from my home to the dealer location primarily because no local Mercedes sales manager could come close to matching Mercedes-Benz of Dothan's deal. I did not, however, expect the top-shelf experience. From the salesperson with whom I negotiated, to the finance manager who expedited the financial process with friendliness and exemplary courteousness, to the celebration held just before leaving the dealership for home, there was never a misstep. Then, today, the UPS van showed up at my home with another gift so carefully wrapped that it shows the care in which the value their customers. If you are in the market for a new or preowned Mercedes-Benz, and you live in even remotre proximity to Mercedes-Benz of Dothan, call or stop by. I am confident you will be happy with your purchase or lease. Thank you for being a ray of sunshine in this overhyped commercial world.

Visited the Mercedes parts department (8/09/2013) to pick up an order. However, the parts were incorrect. During the process of learning this, Chad, a mechanic, was asked by parts to check my vehicle. After taking the time to check out my 2003 E500, Chad suggested (since the parts weren't available) that he could tap the hole in the license plate holder and repair the problem. in a few minutes. I'm a retired Human Resources Manager and know when someone goes that extra mile with a smile. Chad is an employee, of which, Mike Schmitz can be proud. He demonstrated a high level of concern/caring for the customer, technical knowledge, and a real can do attitude.
