I just drove my 2016 E350 home and love it. I found the team at MB Gainesville delightful to work with. Angela Monroe, the sales consultant was patient and pleasantly persistent on my behalf. She took the time to find out what I wanted (a late model, certified, pre-owned E350) and what I was willing to spend. She stayed in touch to let me know when vehicles I might like were available and it paid off. I have a car I love at a price that is fair for both me and the dealer.

The customer service was great! The first person that I encountered was the secretary, who was very pleasant and welcoming and from that the service escalated to Matthew Sloan who was marvelous, full of knowledge and he aimed to please and my last encounter was with Gary Martin for financing, whom was very helpful, professional and informative. My overall experience was excellent!

All aspects of service has been extraordinary. If you like personal service it does not get any better than what you will receive at GNV Mercedes. Mike Potteiger was better than excellent working me through their busy schedule and some instances not charging for quick fixes. Matt Sloan has been very attentive since our last purchase. Scott Stephens, the best popcorn popper in GNV, is always available when we are in the far reaches of the ranch with a flat tire or dead battery. These are guys you can depend on every time.

Personal service is delivered by all that I have had the pleasure of working with over the decades. More recently Mike Potteiger in the service department has been most helpful on the decision making process with the E350. Mathew Sloan has gone out of his way in preparing the groundwork for a new acquisition. Scott Stephens has been with me for over a decade. No matter what could happen in the far off distances to the ranch I know Scott will be there for me. Scott went to great lengths to find just the car I will purchase going forward. Besides he is as good a corn popper you will find in Gainesville! If you like unsurpassed personal service this is the team!

We purchased a GLK350, the dealership had used it as a service car for one year. We decided to purchase an expensive warranty for the car. After some time we decided we needed a bigger SUV and nothing was available at the dealership. We were told the value of the refund entitled to us and were advised that it would take approximately 4 weeks to receive. We traded in and notified Gainesville on August 29th that we no longer had the car and have still not received the money. Calls are made to the dealership to sales managers, they are slow in contacting us so we called the corporate office and were advised the dealer had the money October 1st. Sales was wonderful, service satisfactory, but this situation is unsatisfactory and we would never deal with them again. We are taking about a $2000 refund, very surprising for a quality car manufacturer such as Mercedes to not satisfy their customer. Loved our car, would purchase another in the future, but not from Gainesville.

My first impressions of this dealership, upon entering, we're very warm, welcoming, and relaxed. Matthew had the Mercedes ready for the test drive when we arrived. He took extra time, going over the many features. Never at any time felt pressured. Very personable. And financing (my least favorite part ) was essentially stress free. We were looking online for pre owned car and came across one that caught our eye. We called the dealer and Angela Monroe was communicating with me back and forth regarding condition of the car and loan application. She sounded very honest over the phone and we have basically sealed the deal before physically seeing the car /we leave 2 hours away/. I had to depend on Angela's opinion and honesty regarding this vehicle condition. We were very pleased upon arriving to meet Angela and just to confirm that this vehicle looked exactly as Angela had described. Very honest and professional approach. A salesman (Curt Curtis) can help you purchase the car that fits your needs and he did a great job. However the service department will keep you coming back to the dealership. They are the people who inevitably sell you your second, third automobiles. Alonzo Strickland and Scott Stephens (Asst. Svc Mgr and Svc. We have had a great experience with Gainesville Mercedes Benz. We went there only looking and comparing prices and left with a brand new vehicle that was never even considered. I bought a Mercedes, something I never thought I would buy and I love it. It was priced very affordable and had way more options than any other vehicle I was shopping for. My sales rep was amazing. Very knowledgable, friendly and thorough. I was made to feel very comfortable and it was a great experience. I recently had my Mercedes serviced and it was just as great an experience. They delivered me a similar loaner and picked mine up, serviced it and returned it to me detailed inside/out in a quick time frame. I will definitely shop there again and highly recommend the entire dealership from sales to service.

I have been having our Mercedes serviced at Gainesville Mercedes for some years and just recently traded in our old car and bought a new one so I can comment on both service and new car purchase. I have in the past been skeptical of dealerships but I have to say that Gainesville Mercedes has been excellent in both service and in the new car purchase experience. I have found both service and sales staffs to be excellent in their knowledge and in their desire to be helpful. I could not be more pleased with both aspects car ownership and I would recommend the dealership to any and all.

My Review of Mercedes-Benz of Gainesvilleanthonylaw8/21/2016Reason For VisitService"RIPPED OFF!!!!!!!"My Mercdedes SLK was in the Gainesville dealership for repairs from damage caused from striking an object in the roadway. The repairs required that the entire dashboard be removed from the car, in the process the technicians destroyed the glove box but put the vehicle back together anyway and did not mention anything about this to us. After we had the vehicle back several weeks we noticed the damage that was done, we immediately contacted the dealership about the problem along with another issue we were having that was not related to the damage. Mercedes picked up the vehicle and took it to the shop, once the dealer looked at the car the service advisor called me and stated that the damage to the glove box was not covered and that they had seen similar issues with other vehicles, this was done while they attempted to get the dash out of the vehicle, it looked as if someone took a pry-bar and bent a the frame of the box along with the glove box door. The adviser stated the cost of the box was $800, I told him the damaged was caused by them but he would not admit it. Instead he said he would work on getting the cost down for us which he eventually did, however he wanted us to pay the labor, $165.00, reluctantly I agreed but reminded him that they caused the damage but I agreed to his terms just to get the item repaired. Not only has Mercedes of Gainesville lost a customer it is very possible that we may never guy another Mercedes from anyone.

Don't be fooled by the other positive reviews. My family and I recently purchased a used car from MB of Gainesville. Indeed it was a good car for what we thought was a fair price. However, MB of Gainesville is lacking in the area of customer service. Our car did not come with a spare key or owner's manual. Both of which were listed on their own "Items Owed" form prior to us leaving the dealership. To date, neither has been received. No return calls or follow up from the manager/designee leads me to believe that an alternate route needs to be taken for MB of Gainesville to make things right.

We just had our first service performed on our E350 and were very pleased with their attentiveness and quality provided. From the service telephone to arrange for pickup of the vehicle to the delivery of our loaner from Michael to the final delivery of our car right to our driveway, it was all first class and friendly. Kudos to to Scott Stephens and your service staff. Glad we made this purchase at your dealership.

Before our visit to MB of Gainesville, I contacted the dealership by phone to inquire about a previously owned vehicle offered for sale on the dealer website. I spoke with a very friendly and knowledgeable sales rep Erik Peebles who answered several questions I had about the vehicle. I communicated several more times with Erik by e-mail and phone with additional question and Erik's response was immediate and helpful. We visited the dealership to view the vehicle and found a very clean and modern facility. Erik was very pleasant and made us feel welcome. The vehicle was top notch and just what we wanted. My buying experience was not good because I made the mistake of checking a car out on the day my husband was diagnosed with Alzheimers. I initially felt the finance dept. took advantage of the situation. However, when I was hit with a $650 bill, I informed the service dept. that I had a prepaid maintenance plan. A loaner was driven to my home 50 miles from the dealership, my car was driven to the service center and brought back to me with no charges. I think I'm being won over.

I am leasing a C300, and my entire experience with this dealer has been incredibly positive. From the courtesy at the time when I first entered their fantastic premises, to the helpfulness when I twice stopped in for service, I have only accolades for their staff and general manager. Frankly, I cannot imagine a better dealer to conduct business with. (And the coffee they serve--especially espresso--is an added bonus.)

I leased a CLA 250 after multiple visits and conversations with salesman George Bush (not the former President). Originally I had planned to purchase a used CLA 250 from another dealership. However, because I was in the Gainesville area, I wanted to test drive one. I made it clear to George that I did not intend to purchase a vehicle from him and just wanted to test drive the car. His response was "no problem. Let's go." As I test drove the car, George went over all the features and I was impressed with his knowledge of the car. I had researched the CLA 250 for months and he knew things about the car I didn't even know. George put zero pressure on me to buy the car and didn't hound me after my visit. I kept calling George with additional questions even though I didn't intend to buy from him. He always had an answer. After doing more research and deciding to lease a new one, I asked George to give me his best price. After dealing with more than 6 dealerships, George had the best price and I went with him. To my surprise when I went in to the finance office, the agreement was identical to the one we had negotiated. There was no funny business. If you intend to purchase from MB of Gainesville. Ask for George. You won't be disappointed.

I was in the market for a new Mercedes. My daughter had been referred to Mercedes Benz of Gainesville about a year ago where she bought her most recent Mercedes. She was treated so well with price and service I decided to use them also. I knew the car I wanted and gave them a call. We worked out price and details over the phone. I was driving to a tennis tournament on a Thursday with friends and only had a few minutes available to stop and talk. I saw the car, took a test drive and was on my way within an hour. I gave them the go ahead to wrap up the sale and picked the car up on my way home on Monday. All was ready to go. Papers ready to sign, salesman Ken Davis had time blocked out just for me. Where to start...I guess where I started. I am father overseas, 8500 miles from my son, and a need for a car. Literally spent over 3 months on the net, over 100 vehicles checked, dealers in Gainesville contacted, and nothing panned out. Primary reason, Dealers did not want to work with me 8500 miles away, some wanted me to look at other cars than the one(s) I was interested in, some never responded. Then, on a Monday night, I found a car at Mercedes of Gainesville. It was clearly a one of a kind find. Immediately, I contact Mercedes of Gainesville by e-mail. The next morning, an immediate response from a salesman with a sincere desire to help a customer. Son went by, checked the car, test drove the car, and I had a sales quote sent to me while my son was still there. I replied that the car was wanted, but, it would take me another day or two to transfer funds. Absolutely no concern on the salesman's side. The car was held. On Thursday afternoon, my son owned and drove off the lot in his new (used) fully registered car. The salesman, well this was Mr Nero. This experience was beyond expectations for customer service. Mr Nero was a gentleman with a desire in his heart to work with me, the customer, despite my long distance restriction, and better yet, he worked with my son through this transaction. From the first e-mail response, it was clear to me that all my months of searching was coming to an end and that this transaction in the hands of Mr Nero allowed me not to have any worries or concerns. He was willing to help. Words are not enough to express my gratitude for Mr Nero and his handling of this sale, as well as his interaction with my son. On behalf of my son and I, THANK YOU very much! Only if your repairs are under warranty.otherwise stay clear from them. The parts department does not carry hardly any parts and the service department is all for the money. The service advisors work on commission so the more they sale the more they make. The service manager is another story. Penny pinching to say the least . You will never see me again. You won't last too long with this kind of Bussines practices .

The dealership did a door to door delivery and left me a beautiful new Mercedes to drive while my car was being serviced. Everyone I had contact with was professional, courteous and very excited about giving me excellent customer service. The assistant service manager was excellent and called me several times through the repair and service process to keep me informed and knowledgeable regarding the costs and extent of the repairs and service. I continue to return this dealership because they consistently give me this kind of service and courtesy. I have bought and leased all my cars from Mercedes Benz of Gainesville since 1995; I live 2.5 hours away and by-pass Orlando, Tampa and Lakeland to do so. My last visit was no different than all of my visits during the last 21 years. Excellent. The staff from sales to service are very well trained, knowledgeable and above all very customer oriented. My hat is off to Scott Stephens, Mike, Dillon and of course my sales-friend Ken. They are all great folks and I now consider them family.

Purchased my first Mercedes on January 2, 2016. Worked with Ron Campbell through the entire process. He is very knowldegeable, friendly, professional and genuinely cares about his customers. There were no problems or hassles during the purchase process and I am very satisfied with the way Mercedes Benz of Gainesville treats their customers. She answered all of our questions in an honest, truthful way. She was very informative and knowledgeable about the cars. She was very professional, with a warm caring personality. She understood when we said we were not ready to make any decisions. We later returned to buy a car. She made the entire process very pleasant. She went over the car's features at length, and patiently answered all of our questions. She was never rushed, spent a lot of time with us. I have never had such a happy car buying experience. My wife and I are snowbirds. We reside in Ocala, Florida for six months and Robinson, Illinois for six months. My first association with this dealership was when I brought my 2009 Passion Smart Car in for service. Everyone I came in contact with were cooperative, knowledgeable and above all made me and my wife feel like the two most important people at the dealership that day. That was my first visit and I was so impressed with the service that I brought my vehicle back for the next service it needed. I had not met George Bush when I was at the dealership, However approximately a year after my last service visit he contacted me via email in regards to the purchase of 2016 Smart Car. Throughout the last year me exchanged emails on several occasions. I am more than glad that he contacted me as the initial contact resulted in our purchase of a 2016 Smart car. The contact also turned out to be one of the best car buying experience the wife and I have ever had. At the age of 74 I don't get around like I use to. I advised George of my condition and he went out of his way to make everything as convenient for me as possible. Even bringing the outlying vehicles close to the showroom so that I wouldn't have to walk so far to see what was available. George was a pure pleasure to work with making me feel like someone special and at this point I must say he is special, an asset to the dealership. When the paperwork was completed by Gary Martin their outstanding and very nice Business Manager. George took us to our new car and went over everything with us, even insuring that my cell phone was mated with the car. Over the years I have purchased several vehicles, I never ran into a dealership like Mercedes Benz of Gainesville or sales staff like George Bush. I have always wanted to own a Mercedes Benz I just might return someday and let George Bush make me a deal.

This is the 2nd time we have purchased a car from Mercedes of Gainesville... Both experiences were stress free, very professional, quick and easy!!!! All details were covered and then some. This is a terrific dealership and would recommend it to anyone!Larry Nero sold us both cars and his work ethic is exceptional!Rachael, in finance, is in a class by herself! My wife and I went in on 02/01/16 to view a car seen on line. Very shortly after our arrival, Larry Nero came out and greeted us in a very professional manner. He paid attention to our needs and was not pushy in any way. We told him about the cars we wanted to see and he took us to them. After inspecting both cars, we test drove them and made our decision. The sales process was very speedy and each person involved in the process explained the various options we had. In the end, after a total of about 3 hours, we drove out with our new car happy as a lark. Thanks Larry, Antonio and Garry. You are an asset to Gainesville Mercedes-Benz. Keep up the great work.

this was my second negative service experience in a row. I called for a price on 2 tires, mounting, balancing and alignment... I was quoted a price, and told that is the TOTAL... I even told them that I was shopping this price against another service dealer for Mercedes. The service writer, Mike said that the other dealer would hit me with hidden fees and he had quoted me their complete price, which was about 80.00 less than the other dealers. I was also told that it would take an hour or a little more to install the 2 tires. I was there 3 HOURS and wound up being charged another 37.00 in their hidden fees!

I have had both a Mercedes and an Audi and in both situations dealer service was more than an hour away. I was never going to put myself in that position again, but after stopping by Mercedes-Benz of Gainesville I changed my mind. I was told when I need service, Mercedes-Benz of Gainesville will send someone to my home in Ocala, with a loaner, pick-up and return my car without any additional fees. Because I will never need to leave my home and drive to the dealer for service, this actually works out to be better than had I purchased a car locally.

If driving a long distance to buy a car seems foolish, then you will miss out on a fabulous experience. I never experienced such professionalism and courtesy as I did at MB of Gainsville. From the moment I met Matthew Sloan to the time he handed the keys over on our purchase, I knew I picked the correct dealership to visit. His knowledge of the features and their added safety contributions were amazing. Their service departments' prep and complete attention to detail is without comparison. We just purchased our second MB from Matt at Mercedes-Benz of Gainesville and both times it was a pleasure working with him (and his colleague George helped in the process as well). I have had negative experiences at other Mercedes dealers (and walked out of one in anger), so the experience at MB of Gainesville really stands out as a positive one. Matt was informative, helpful and very courteous, and he did not delay the looking/gathering information process or the actual process of purchasing a car. Service on our cars has also been excellent there as well - polite, efficient and not overly priced. I highly recommend them!

After looking for about a month I finally made my decision to go with the GLE350 SUV. I was overall impressed the customer service, follow-up, follow through, and just the pure and genuine kindness of everyone at the Mercedes dealership in Gainesville. I had a memorable experience and not only was the buying experience effortless, I had my first car wash 2 days ago and it was maybe a 20 minute wait and they did a great job. I scheduled the annual service with MB of Gainesville. The process was easy, the service prompt and the work was done on time. Ed recommended 2 additional service items which made sense both adding to the time required but they still completed the work earlier than expected. The car was washed and vacuumed and ready to go when I came to pick it up. The loaner car made it possible for me to complete several errands. This was the second service on my new E350 delivered by MB of Gainesville. I am very pleased with the service and support.

I defected from the BMW camp in 2002 and went to the local Mercedes Benz dealer and was met by Mr. Ken Davis. He showed me a 2000 Certified pre-owned silver S430. I fell in love and totally forgot about BMW. I drove that until I came in for scheduled service and Ken showed me a black 2004 CPO S500. It is still the best looking car I've owned. The same thing happened in 2012 when I bought a silver 2009 CPO S550. As long as Ken is in the business, I'll buy my cars from him at Mercedes of Gainesville. I can't say enough good things about him. He even let me borrow his personal E class when a dealer loaner wasn't available. When I need service, I always call Dillon Hastie in the service department. He always ensures I have a premium loaner to drive while my car is being serviced in their hospital clean service department. He told me they give just a little more special attention to S class owners, but everybody gets treated with respect and courtesy no matter what you own. Best car from the best dealer...it's as simple as that.

I had damaged all 4 of my rims on my Mercedez 2011 E350, insurance company replaced them , but the experience that was provided by service manager Scott Stephens was excellent, but I give the my all thankfulness to assistance service manager Frank Arango, this guy was Awesome, he diffently deservices a raise, he made the transition very smooth , so thank you Frank for all your help, definitely recommend Mercedez-Benz of Gainesville

After looking for about a month for a good deal on a used 2015 GL 450, I found a great option with MB of Gainesville. Eric Corly was very quick and helpful giving me all the information I needed to make my decision. They were also interested in my trade in car, they even pointed out the tax savings on my trade in, something I didn't know. Finally I bought the car and I could have been in and out in 60 min if it wasn't I asked for something extra be done on the car. The whole process was very smooth.

I had my wife's MB CLS 550 that was leased in another state serviced under warranty at this dealership last Jan. for an ongoing electrical issue. They arranged to have the car picked up, a NEW loaner dropped to me, and then delivered our vehicle back to us. And by the way - WE LIVE 50 MILES FROM GAINESVILLE! I just leased a new MB SL550 from them because of their service. I had a tire issue driving it back to Florida. Same level of commitment and service again. It's nice to see a dealership that gets it! If you're going to buy/lease a new/used vehicle, there isn't a dealership I would recommend over this one.

I took my new CLA250 in for its first free car wash and the paint was damaged on the driver's rear bumper when it was finished. I called Scott in service to let him know and he got it repaired at no cost to me. he even made sure I has a loaner car to drive while it was being fixed! Thanks, Scott! You are the best! Had a bad experience with the AC service of Mercedes Benz of Gainesville. My 2003 Mercedes C240 has an AC Freon leaking problem for a few years. In December 2014, a service adviser told me that with $1, 000+ service fee, they could fix my AC problem completely. He also told me that I would have a one-year AC warranty. With his oral promise, I let this dealership repair my vehicle. In May 2015, the AC system had little or no Freon again. So I drove my vehicle to this dealership. This time, another service adviser told me a different story. He said since my vehicle is very old, there could be multiple problems in the AC system. The previous $1,000+ repair fee is only used for changing the AC motor, and they "partly" fixed my car. This time, they found it is the compressor that leaks Freon. Since their "warranty" only applies to the AC motor, in order to fix the AC system, I need to pay them another $1,000+ for changing the compressor. To sum up, in December 2014, Mercedes Benz of Gainesville charged me $1000+ for changing a useless motor without fixing my AC problem completely. I did pay them the service fee for a comprehensive AC checking, but they did not report all the problems on my first visit. I feel that they are not trustworthy: Either the first service adviser made some overpromise when he tried to sell their service, or the second service adviser defaulted their AC warranty.

Recently, I purchased a low mileage Mercedes Benz C350 Coupe 4MATIC from a local used car dealer here in Ocala. My vehicle has better than half of the warranty remaining, and I found a couple of items that needed attention. Mileage wise, it was a toss-up between Mercedes Benz of South Orlando and Mercedes Benz of Gainesville. Being just a few miles closer, I chose to take my vehicle to Mercedes Benz of Gainesville for the warranty work. From the time I walked in the front door, I was treated with extreme courtesy and respect. This was a bit surprising because I didn't purchase the vehicle from them. Initially, Client Advisor Ron Campbell assisted me, and got me familiar with all the features on my vehicle, then introduced me to David Taylor, a Service Representative at the dealership. Dave assisted me with my concerns, spoke with the Service Manager, and got me scheduled for a service appointment. He even arranged for me to have a loner vehicle while mine car was in service. Service repaired my vehicle overnight, did an outstanding job, and I was back in my vehicle the next morning. I've never been more pleased with an automotive dealership in my 66 years on this earth. Mercedes Benz of Gainesville has secured my future purchases for a new vehicle.

I recently had mechanical problems while visiting family in north Florida and my car had to be towed to Mercedes-Benz of Gainesville since it is the closest Mercedes dealership. From the very first phone call with service advisor, David I received courteous and accurate information and prompt service.When my car was ready, I had no way to get to the dealership to pick up the car and David arranged a driver to pick me up even though I was over an hour from the dealership. Driver Michael Bain arrived to pick me up promptly and made me very comfortable. I cannot say enough nice things about these two gentlemen!What could have been considered a very frustrating trip was actually a pleasant experience, thanks to David,Michael and Mercedes-Benz of Gainesville!

We recently purchased a 2015 Sprinter at Mercedes-Benz of Gainesville. We had previously owned a Sprinter purchased through a Dodge dealership in Tampa, so we were very familiar with the product, but not with the new power train, the BlueTec system nor with the "space age" sound/phone/GPS system. Sales Associate Matthew Sloan made this the easiest of the 25 or 30 car purchases we have made. He was knowledgeable of all systems and features and provided us with a thorough tour/demonstration of the vehicle. He was neither pushy nor insistent through either of our two visits and guided us on fairly long test drives during both as opposed to "around the block" test drives we have received from other car dealers. Matt made us one offer before accepting our counteroffer, and then the service kicked into high gear. Next, Matt introduced us to the document preparation person, a very personable and efficient young lady,who handled the closing paperwork very quickly. Then it was on to the service department to meet the Service Manager who answered some technical questions about the BlueTec System for us while a technician corrected an alignment problem I had detected during the test drive. We were also encouraged to bring the vehicle in weekly to be washed at no expense to us for as long as we own the vehicle!!!!! If you've ever washed a Sprinter, or even contemplated doing so, you understand what a perk this is. As we live 65 miles away, it is unlikely that, we will return for a wash weekly, but we will most certainly take advantage of this program at every service interval as well as anytime we visit Gainesville. My wife notes the cleanliness of the building and grounds including the bathrooms, waiting area and service area. Throughout the purchase experience, the folks at this dealership were responsive, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. Kudos to management for running an excellent business.

This visit was my first for service. I received a phone call every day to advise me what was going on. When I picked up the car, it was freshly cleaned inside and out. The staff was very pleasant and courteous. I could not have been more pleased.

i had a difficult problem with my night vision on my 2012 S-350.they fixed it three times, including replacing the camera, then theelectronic module. during these repairs, i went out of warranty.this dealer honored my situation, and did not charge me forthe last event. they also pick-up and deliver 96 miles. and gave me a new E-350for my loaner car.

Matt Sloan is an amazing laid back guy and never makes you feel any pressure or discomfort. He is honest and always looking out for the best interest of his clients. You know you have a great sales person when you come back for your second car and get a big hug! From the time you arrive to the time you leave everyone you will encounter is happy and trying to make sure you are as comfortable as possible. We had a repair on a warranty item on our 2011 GLK 350 4 matic to replace the windshield washer pump and it was fixed. The next week after it quit working again. My husband called Dillon and he had a representative from MB of Gainesville come to our home in Inverness and drop off a 2015 GLk350 loaner and took our vehicle to Gainesville to diagnose the problem. It turns out that there is specific chemicals to put in a MB vehicle. If it is not used then a build up of gunk occurs and the washer pump will not work. Dillon communicated what was needed and the cost for the repair and we agreed to the service. Overall great communication and service!

We had a service appointment for my husbands 2007 E550. Michael I., our tech, was EXCELLENT! Timely in communicating the status of our car during the day. AND, called the insurance company 3x (at his suggestion not ours) to confirm coverage for a couple of the repairs. Michael is an asset to the Gainesville MB facility. While waiting we walked through the pre-owned vehicles. We sought a salesman, Ron, and again, awesome MB employee. He knows the bells and whistles of the products very well. We ended up trading my Ford (which I had no complaints) for a 2013 ML350. It is a dream to drive. Rachel in financing knows her job well, very upbeat and guided us through the warranty choices and the financing process with ease. AND she did it in under 30 minutes. No spending 3 hours in the dealer for this transaction. AWESOME!

You will never find a bunch of nicer people than at Mercedes-Benz of Gainesville. Dillon and Michael, always have a warm and friendly greeting on the phone and in person. They know who I am when I call and they know my vehicles. Scott, the service manager, has a hands on attitude about every aspect of the service and the entire dealership. It is not uncommon for Scott to find me and make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. The service is one of the reasons I have been buying my Mercedes here since 1995.

We were on vacation in Florida in our Sprinter Motor home. We developed engine power problems while going through Gainesville. I contacted Mercedes-Benz of Gainesville, and described the issue. Service said to bring it in and they would work us into schedule. When we got there the took the motor home to garage area and within a couple hours had the problem fixed. Everyone was friendly, the waiting area was comfortable and we would definitely advise anyone to do business - buying or repair - with this facility. Great company!

I would like to thank Matthew Sloan, Scott, Phil, and DJ for exceptional customer service. I went in to get my 08 E350 tire looked at and walked out with the 2011 model. Wasn't planning on buying but the gentlemen listed above really rolled out the red carpet for me. I think the dealer closes at 7 and we didn't leave until after 8pm. They made sure that before I left I was satisfied with my purchase and knew how to work everything from the COMAND system to the simple radio. I had an appointment January 10, 2015, I was getting a notice about the parking lamp needed checking, which i never knew had 2 bulbs on each side, till Dillon explained to me. The locks on the door had a problem. I was in and out in no time, everything was explained to me in detail. I really don't mind waitng in the waiting area, i make new friends and i love greeting the staff, which are all do friendly. I am always treated like a Queen. When I think of MBOG I think of EXCELLENCE!!

The service advisor, Mike Potteiger, went through the car's service records with me to let me know which periodic maintenance operations had been done and when, so I could avoid repeating them unnecessarily. He also assured me that the original owner had been meticulous about maintaining the car, so I am now confident that I have made a good purchase, which I appreciated. I live in Jacksonville, FL, but the last time I was in Gainesville, the transmission gear selector linkage failed in my S600. I had the car towed to MB of Gainesville, and they received the car around 12:00. The car was ready 8:30 the following morning saving me a trip back to Jacksonville to wait for the repair. I greatly appreciate their fast service!

Previously I wrote a glowing evaluation regarding my experience with M B of Gainesville . Not so this time around. After giving Scott / service manager a full week advanced notice that I would require both service for my wife's 2014 ML and a loaner vehicle as well. Well it seems that the transportation people failed to secure a vehicle for us that day. We discovered this by calling Scott at noon that day.A simple call to us regarding the situation from Scott could have saved everyone a lot of frustration Finally a loaner vehicle was delivered to our home late afternoon. The vehicle provided was a hybrid .Since we were not provided any instruction for operation and NO prior experience with hybrid electric vehicles ,we could not even start the loaner vehicle. I proceeded to call the service department for instructions .As luck would have it Scott was not available and Jason was the only person to whom I could speak. Well it seems Jason has about the same experience with hybrids as me .Zero .Between Jason and I we decided to replace the loaner vehicle when another became available . The trasnport driver was required to return our vehicle that day and the scheduled service re-scheduled to the next day. The required repairs ,cigar lighter & A.C. diverter not functioning properly,along with the one year required service seem to have been executed properly . The courtesy car wash was pitiful .The interior was untouched .My wife and I removed all personal items making the interior wokr easier to complete . This was an exercise in futility . I give high marks to the transpot driver and only him . We will give M B of Gainesville one more chance at servicing both our Mercedes Vehicles .If the next time we experience anything even close to this past experience ,we will find another M B dealer

I had been looking online for an E-Class Mercedes. I purchased a pre-owned certified 1991 300 E from Kraft Motorcars in 1993 and received excellent service. My car was 22 years old when I finally sold it in 2013. I searched the internet for months for a later model at the right price. I really didn't want to drive out of town to purchase. Finally saw a 2007 E350 listed at a great price here in Gainesville. Went to the dealership on a Wed in 9/2013. Several salesmen saw my daughter and I walking around the lot but never approached us to say "Can I help you." But Gregg Green saved the day! He found the vehicle, said it came in the day before was being inspected. Gregg was a man of his word. He kept me abreast of everything, communicated well with the CU and myself, and resolved a problem with the finance person who charged me twice for the deposit. On Friday I was driving out of the dealership in my beautiful silver E350! Gregg is AWESOME! I've told everyone in my circle about his excellent service. Be sure to see Gregg Green. He's your guy!

Worst leasing experience we ever endured. Larry "ZERO" Nero never bothered to make contact with us once, after the sale, even avoided us when we had major transmission issues on a 2013 C250. After complaining for the first 10,000 miles that something was wrong. They only acknowledged it when at our first service they found my transmission fluid had been leaking out into the belly pan, causing the transmission to slip and shift erratically. A defect from the manufacturer was the cause and transmission was permanently damaged (they only fixed the leak). We are now due to turn in the car but will drive to another time zone to lease another car and avoid the "ZERO" & the service advisers at this pathetic dealership. If you read this and still buy/lease a used C250 from them then you deserve whats coming next.

We live in Ocala which is about 45 mins drive and wanted to do most of the work via email and phone. A couple of emails, a test drive and it was as easy as that. The Saturday we picked the car up we were in a bit of a hurry and declined the full instructional tutorial. Since we were turning in one Mercedes for another we felt we were pretty knowledgeable about all the car has to offer. On the way home to Ocala we get a call from the manager wanting to send someone to our home the following week to go over all the new features our new car has that the old one did not. He wanted to make sure we got the full experience of the car. That is service! And that was easy! Just what I wanted!

Through an excellent Mercedes Benz website of Certified Preowned I was able to locate 2 vehicles at MB Gainesville through Ken Davis.He answered all of my questions about 2 vehicles and the CPO program, warranty and MBz Financial Services Financing. I was approved on line and he transferred the file to his counterpart Nicole _________ in finance. Upon my arrival both vehicles were ready for my inspection and we drove my 1st chioice, which I later that day purchased. Nicole was most efficient and a pleasure to deal with. My wife's CPO C300 was taken in for what we all thought was a 30K routine maintenance service (we got the 3 tier maintenance program at time of purchase). When researching records, Michael, in service, got involved with the previous services and determined that the 30K had been done by the previous owner; further checking with MB Service indicated that the car, with 30,020 really needed the 40K due to the years since delivery. Mike called and arranged for a loaner car to be delivered to my home so that they could complete the additional 40K service on the car; this was a service that I had never experienced with our Infinite dealer, loaners, yes, but not delivered to our home. I also got our salesman involved, because Larry Nero has always been a great point of contact and had him verify that only one service would be completed. All in all, the relationship with all the MB GV staff; sales, service and Ralph, the driver going back and forth had been outstanding. My wife and I are only waiting to put a couple more years on the C300 so that we can go back and upgrade to another MB.

Brought my car in for a recall which we were never told about. My husband found out about the recall while online looking for information about the Mercedes. We dropped the car off yesterday and were told it would be about two hours before we hear back from them. That was at 10:45 am. At 4:30 pm we were still driving around Gainesville awaiting an update on my car. My husband finally called again and could not get through to service so told the person on the phone we were heading back to Ocala with the Loaner car and that he would call back tomorrow. Today, we were told the car now needs diagnostic work. My husband told them to go ahead and do the diagnostic testing. He was told they would call back between one and two pm. Here it is 3:20 pm. After two phone calls to them, and messages left we still have no word on our car. After reading all the great reviews I can't imagine how our experience could be so bad with this dealer. However, it has been awful. I cannot rate the quality of repairs at this time because none were done yet. Still waiting to hear what the problem is.

I bought the ML350 diesel in 2011. management turned over and I had a poor service agent until I met Mike Potteiger. I appreciate his professionalism and explanation of what he could or could not do and what he would try to do. Loaner was ready and car repair was done sooner than I expected. Surprised that the reviews gave 5 stars to the person who was my service agent before I met Mike. Would I recommend this dealer to a friend? Not yet, need more positive experiences with this dealer.

However, without question, my experience at M-B of Gainesville with a young man named Dan Schmidt in his personable, patient and totally obviously attending to my questions and his quickly researching the answers to some of my less than obvious inquiries was the "icing on the cake" to the the overall experience in these immaculate facilities. I did find and purchase exactly what I wanted and have every confidence their service will prove as satisfying as this initial contact.

They're always professional, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. They've raised the bar so high, that it would be difficult for any other dealership to be comparable. The location is not convient and doesn't offer many amenities but the customer service that is given by Dillon Hastie and previously Robie and is second to none. They care for your car as though it was there own and value your time.

My wife's water pump on her '98 C280 with 230,000 miles went out in Ocala while driving home to TN. She was alone and called me for help. We contacted M-B roadside assistance who sent a tow truck within 90 minutes. The tow took her to Gainesville M-B who diagnosed and fixed her problem within 24 hours. The service was outstanding, the repair was perfect and the charge was absolutely fair. I hate that my wife had to break down on her way back home, but if it had to happen, there was no better place to do it than outside of Gainesville, FL.

Came in after seeing an online ad for a 2012 Audi S5 for sale, as well as wanting to see if I could fit into an E350 Coupe. Initially, my experience was casual and to the point. After some lackadaisical salesmanship, it seemed as if Larry wasn't interested in my business while looking at the Audi. When I started to ask questions about the E350, I had to ask several times because he wasn't paying attention and his answers were very vague and his knowledge was unimpressive. As I sat in a 2014 E350 convertible (I didn't want a convertible), I asked him to tell me why I would want one and he couldn't, sadly. I left Mercedes of Gainesville dissatisfied, disappointed, and very discontent. Regardless of how good a deal I may have gotten from trading my Infiniti in, or by making an all-cash purchase, I will never consider this dealership. And what's more? Immediately after leaving the dealership I called and complained to the general manager but receiver no follow-up call or attempt at consolation.

I began my search for a "good" used sedan through online marketing & auto information sites. I was looking for a used auto from years 2007 - 2011. My searches over time brought me to the Mercedes-Benz dealership in Gainesville, FL. I emailed the dealership with a technical question and immediately got a personal return with the information. I then called the dealership and talked with Chris Lopez about the used car I was interested in. He answered my questions and extended additional important information about the car. We arranged a visit to inspect and drive the auto. I drove the 84 miles the next day, met Chris and discussed the car and then drove it. He and other members of the dealership staff also offered useful information that helped me decide to purchase the auto. The discussions were very useful but not "high pressure" to "get me" to commit to purchasing the car. I committed to purchase the car at a negotiated price that day. I arranged to return the next day with the appropriate documents and payment documents. The purchase and additional introduction to all aspects of the car was professionally completed to my satisfaction and the dealership's. I will return to the dealership for service and I will recommend the dealership to others. The staff are professionals and proud of their services & autos. You are treated as a valuable client from the time you contact them and throughout the selection and purchase process.

Arrived at the dealership at 4:30 on a Friday afternoon with our 9 year old CL600 on a flatbed after a 67 mile free tow courtesy of Mercedes roadside assistance. We have owned many Mercedes and have been a Mercedes club member for 40 years and this was the first time we ever had to ask for a tow. They jumped right on it - found the problem (a bad crankshaft position sensor), had the necessary part on hand, loaned us a car so we could go to dinner, and had us back on the road by 6:30. Completed our trip from TN to FL with no further problems. They treated us like we were their best customer even though we had never been in the dealership before. Thanks Dillon. Mercedes of Gainsville and the Mercedes roadside assistance program are two great reasons to buy a Mercedes.

My wife and I were shopping for a certified used Mercedes Benz, and we found the car we wanted through Cars.com at Mercedes Benz of Gainesville. I contacted Mr. Ken Davis at the dealer, and arranged a date to see the car. We drove 3-1/2 hours to Gainesville to test drive the car, and I must say that the drive was well worth it. The staff is very courteous and professional. The facility is immaculate, including the service area. Mr. Ken Davis is an exceptional person. He welcomed us as if we were family, and he immediately put us at ease. He is honest and has integrity that is not easily found among others in his profession. His quality has also been noticed by Mercedes Benz as he has been to the factory in Germany two times. The actual deal was the easiest of my life. We were given a great price for the E350 we wanted, as well as a very fair trade in for our old vehicle. It could not have been any easier. We were then assisted with the transaction paperwork by Rachael Collins from the finance department. She was very attentive, and courteous too. She explained each step of the transaction, and made the process very simple. Our overall experience was outstanding, and we would recommend this dealership to anyone who is shopping for a car. Not just because of the quality of a Mercedes Benz, but because of the quality of the team of individuals who are Mercedes Benz of Gainesville.

First of all, the Certified Pre-owned vehicle that I purchased was exactly what I was looking for. My first contact with the dealership was Larry Nero, the Internet Sales rep. Larry was quite helpful over the phone, and after we discussed the vehicle, as well as my trade in value, we decided to purchase the car.Upon arriving at the dealership, we were greeted by Larry, who walked us through the process, and had the car ready for viewing in the indoor facility. We were very pleased with the vehicle, as well as Larry's responsiveness to our needs and any concerns that we had. Once all of the financial paperwork was put in motion, Larry also spent about 45 minutes going over all of the operational functions of the vehicle with my wife and I. The Gainesville Mercedes dealership is the BEST dealership out there. Whether you are bringing in your car for servicing or looking to purchase a car, the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I have brought in my Mercedes for servicing for a few years now and have been pleasantly surprised with not only the quality of service I have received, but with the cost as well. They are super honest and surprisingly reasonable. My car comes back from servicing clean, washed and vacuumed, to boot! I have even started to bring in my husband's Audi to get serviced here because they do a better job than Audi does! Love the dealership so much that I am not even bothering to look elsewhere for my next car- it's them all the way!

Mercedes-Benz Gainesville always goes above and beyond on the service they provide. I recently brought in my non-mercedes vehicle for regular oil change services and they noticed where I had my window fixed by another service provider who did not fully complete the job by removing the glue from the tape I had used to hold my window and Mercedes-Benz Gainesville courteously had their technician remove it for me. Mercedes-Benz Gainesville always runs my car through the wash and interior detail service before returning it to me. Thanks MB-G for the many years of wonderful service.

Relationships are important in any business. I have known Dillon Hastie for years. The customer service he provides is the reason I still bring my Jeep to a dealership that used to be Mercedes/Jeep but split off. It makes sense for Mercedes-Benz mechanics to be competent and they are here. The dealership provides me with rides to and from my house or gives me a loaner if my car will be in the shop for a couple of days. Customer service does not get any better.

Its a Mercedes dealership and it holds up to that, of course... the lighting, decoration and cleanliness of the entire facilities, the amenities, and of course the products and materials used. What makes this dealership different are the people, especially ones like Dillon Hastie. I have had plenty of experience with "service" personnel of car dealers, from GM, Renault, VW, and Toyota to other MB dealers, but none as superb as Dillon Hastie. Dillon Hastie is knowledgeable, hard working, efficient and friendly, but more than that he has special communication skills that make you trust and feel good about the mechanics/services performed on your car, unlike other service managers that leave you doubting about being cheated and robbed! Not only does Dillon know all the technical-mechanical stuff and the organization-administrative in and outs of the dealership, but he also takes the time to know your particular car as well as you; all that coupled with his clear explanations and transparent recommendations, along with his ability to treat people of all walks of life, makes him the best service manager ever. In conclusion, Dillon Hastie is an excellent bridge between the technicians/mechanics/office staff and the customer. He is an excellent representative of the MB brand. There is no other like him... which is probably why I always see him so busy, but thankfully he is very organized and efficient, and with a smile on his face ... and hopefully he is rewarded in accordance! Hats off to Dillon Hastie!

Mike Potteiger, our service rep met us at the service area, talked with us about the brake pad replacement we had scheduled, explained our options and reviewed the previous items which had been serviced and when they had been performed, and suggested which ones we might want to take care of in the near future. He then showed us the complementary beverage area and told us he would get the car into service ASAP. The work was completed in less than the time scheduled. He then had the car washed for us while we finished the paperwork. Could not have been any simpler or easier.

Your customer service department is outstanding. Gianni was able to help me when Dillon was busy. My appointment was for a message on the dash board about "check engine". A loaner car was available to me since it was midday Friday. I was able to return home to Ocala. I very well might use their service of pick up and deliver since the facility is over 50 miles from my home. It is too bad that they do not have a repair service in Ocala. People in my area who did not move here with a Mercedes. do not usually purchase one since there are many high end dealers in Ocala. The Villages feel the same. Too bad that the dealership does not consider this as a problem. My car was completed on Monday as promised. It is a 2002 C240 and running very well now.

It was a wonderful experience dealing with Mercedes-Benz of Gainesville. Larry Nero did an exceptional job explaining all of the new feature on my 2009 CLS550. I traded in a 2006 CLS500 and I am amazed at the advances that have occurred on this model vehicle in 3 years.Larry is one of the best people persons I have ever dealt with. He was extremely patient, informative and knowledgeable about the car.The entire time during the closing and paperwork generation on the car, Larry was focused on my satisfaction not only with the car but with my understanding of the new features. He took the time to go with me for the test drive and showed me everything. He then even took the time to transfer my Sirius XM radio account from his cell phone while we were going over all of the features of the voice command and navigation system. I was also impressed that he had already transfered my tag while I was signing paperwork. If this car didn't have the mileage on it, I would swear it was a brand new car. I will always drive a Mercedes-Benz and I will always come back to Larry at Mercedes-Benz of Gainesville.

Saw a used vehicle on line and contacted about midday. Sent me an email to set appointment. Live 45 minutes from dealership out of town. Stated that they had the vehicle and were prepping it. Went without an appointment ready to purchase within 4 hours and the sales manager stated that the salesperson was not available and stated he would help me. SM appeared to walk around the property. about 35 minutes later, the original salesperson came and notified me the used vehicle had been sold. What am I to think. How was it sold so soon? Was there a vehicle? Did the salesman post a used vehicle that didn't exist just to get me into their showroom? I don't know. Left disappointed.

Buying my car was a pleasant experience with little to no pressure - very different than previous experiences. The corporate contact who called in response to an on-line questionnaire almost made me decide against a Subaru, but I had already test driven one and was hooked. I look forward to many good years on the beach with this vehicle. I will return to Subaru of Gainesville for my next one.

We could not be happier with the Gainesville Mercedes Benz Dealership. Curt was very cordial, low pressure, easy to talk to and extremely knowledgeable about the product. in all honesty, we had already settled on a BMW, but we were so comfortable with Curt and liked the dealership so much that we were open to looking at the C250. Once we looked it over, drove it and saw first hand the ergonomics of the car, we were sold. Thanks for taking such good care of us. We are very loyal customers and will be back for more cars in time.

first I got an estimate to fix a leak in the power steering for $375, then after the car was in the work shop they called and said something else needed to be fixed for $320, after I agreed , they called again saying the first estimate was wrong, they put the wrong part in the estimate and now the $375 changed into $720, and the part needed is not in store and I have to wait till tommorrow for the part to come in . it seems that as I accepted the $375, they said lets ask for $320 more and as I accepted that they said lets push it further to $1100!!. is there any limit to your greed?

Best experience buying a car. Everyone was interested in getting us what we wanted and when it came down to signing there were no hidden charges as there are at other dealerships. We were both very happy with the total experience at Subaru. This is our first time buying a Subaru and we couldn't be more pleased. The car drives like a dream. Grandchildren really love the moon roof! Thanks for building such a safe,comfortable and solid car.

I found this dealership on line, contacted sales to inquire about one of the Outbacks on their website. I live in a city with 2 Subaru dealerships, neither of them ever offered to help me find what I was looking for. Chris helped me find exactly what I wanted, he was not pushy like typical salespeople usually are most of the time. The financing ladies are very nice and explained everything giving us many options. I highly recommend this dealership.

We have always liked the service that Gainesville MB has given us. Dillon Hastie is such an efficient and friendly person. We need an oil change once a year for our 2002 SUV. Therefore we know Dillon will be overseeing our vehicle, and answering any question we may have. The mechanics have always done a great job but have seldom been needed.

This is my second Mercedes E350. Ken Davis was my sales person both times. Ken is extremely professional and he has charisma. His overall knowledge of the technology in these vehicles are remarkable. My husband and I turned in our 2010 E350 0n 10/24/2012. Ken made the transition into our 2013 E350 very pleasant. I told my husband that from now own, I will only drive a Mercedes Benz. I would be wonderful if this dealership had a branch in Ocala or the Villages. I realize that they will accomodate their customers by picking up the autos, but it would be nice to be able to stop by for extra fluid, etc ( something minor)When I heard the Scott Stevens had returned, and I was looking for a new shop for service, I returned to Gainesville.

We bought a new Subaru Outback and had the best car buying experience ever. Chris Lopez was informative, answered all of our questions, showed us different options, gave us a good trade in price for our old car and was a pleasure to work with. He showed us all the features of the car and even helped to program the blue tooth with our phone numbers. Victoria, the finance officer, was efficient and very friendly, explaining several options involving warranties. We look forward to dealing with this agency again.

I found my vehicle online, emailed the dealership and within minutes was contacted by their internet representative Mr. Larry Nero. Mr. Nero answered all my emails quickly and professionally, and disclosed photos of a scratch in the vehicle which was unlisted. I was able to negotiate price before purchase contingent on in-person inspection and test drive. I flew down from PA to FL and found the vehicle to be as described, cleaned, serviced and filled with gas for my 900 mile ride home. Mr. Nero even assisted in returning my rental car to the airport. I could not have asked for a better buying experience and would make the trip again the buy another vehicle from this agency.

Great customer service. Larry was superb and this dealer has won my business forever. First of all Larry waited for me to drive from Jacksonville and greeted me outside, that was a great touch and the service just got better from there. I was showed around the shop and met different people, everybody was friendly. I went to Mercedes in Orange Park and they would not budge on their price, but Mercedes of Gainesville gave me more for my trade and the car I was purchasing was less expensive and had lower miles than the one in Orange Park. Special thanks to Larry and Nicole in financing, you have won a customer for life.

Staff was prompt, friendly, and helpful. As soon as I walked in a salesman was there to greet me, and show me the cars I was interested in. Afterward I was helped with the financing. These people know what they are doing. They seem to be as concerned with satisfying customers as they are about selling cars

We just bought a used Prius from Mercedes of Gainesville. We dealt with Ken Davis and could not be happier about our experience or our purchase. This was the easiest car-buying experience we've had and by far the most pleasant. Ken went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and like we were old friends instead of just car-buyers. We'd absolutely recommend this dealership and especially Ken to anyone looking to buy a used or new car. We actually had a nice time! They never learn. I saw a used car online ($4990), contacted the salesperson. Sight unseen I was happy to purchase and paid a $1500 deposit to hold for the weekend where I would pick up the car. Afterwards that $4990 suddenly became $6200+ based on 'dealer fees', 'doc fees', er.... additional dealer profit. If they had stated 6200 at the start I would have still purchased the car as I liked it.... but because they are mired in these prehistoric practices, I cancelled on principle. Oh.... while it took them 2.5 minutes to run the credit card for the balance, it was 3-4 days before the credit card return would be run... I will always purchase from a private party now on..

I recently purchased my very first Merecedes Benz, a 2003 CLK430 Cabriolet. Through "word of mouth" I heard great things about the dealership so I decided to let them do her first service. Let me tell you, you would be hard pressed to beat there service or customer service anywhere on the planet!! Jim Brown and the entire crew at the dealership went "over and above" to make me feel like royalty and pamper my car. I live in Orange Park and the dealership had someone drive to my house from Gainesville and pick up my car and deliver a loaner car for the week while my car was being serviced. Ladies and gentlemen that is customer service and they did it all around my busy schedule. Duval Motor Cars did not miss a beat. When service was complete, once again they worked around my schedule and delivered my car to my door late on a Friday night and they did it all with a smile.Jim and Mark were incredible, they stayed in touch with me on a daily basis to give me "on time on target" status of my vehicle.
