Having never owned a Mercedes-Benz before, I was a bit intimidated at the thought of walking into a Mercedes-Benz dealership to look at and test drive cars. Angie was my sales advisor, and she made me feel extremely comfortable throughout the experience. I test drove one day, and the next day, we worked the deal over text message, e-Mail, and phone calls. All I had to do was go back in to sign and take delivery of my car. It was the easiest purchasing experience I’ve had. I would highly recommend Mercedes-Benz of Honolulu, and specifically Angie.

Coming in for annual check and maintenance with some minor problems, I was greeted exceptionally quick and referred to Warren, my maintenance supervisor. Warren greeted me although he was with another customer and I had coffee and a donut and a shuttle ride to my employment. Upon inspection Warren recommended a change of spark plugs, under warranty, and a new tire. I was then informed of a loaner due to overnight for completion. Arriving the next day, a was in and out and on the road. A most satisfying experience for auto maintenance and repair.

The customer experience needs an upgrade. Most luxury car dealerships give you a feel of luxury treatment. The waiting area is terrible compared to mainland. I'm giving two stars for the complimentary car service offered.

Poor Services! Be careful if you try to fix at the dealer. I think they hide the truth and trying to overcharge. My car is a GLC300 only 35K, and Auxiliary Battery malfunction signal came up. Should be okay till at least by 75K but. I checked the Online repair ave. It was $250. Guess what? This dealer bills me $715 plus tax.( they love to say it) I love my Mercedes, but this dealer's service policy and price is ridiculous. Feel like stealing my pocket. Erased in my list.

As always, excellent customer service. Dropped off our vehicle, which was quickly taken in, I was out of there in a few minutes. The shuttle service was ready and waiting, as promised. Great communication regarding the progress and completion of the service. Pickup was quick as well, exactly how I like it! Appreciated the option to pay online prior to picking up the vehicle.

I brought my car in for Service A2. Kimo is my new service advisor and he is WONDERFUL! He' s super friendly and kept me apprised of the status of my car. The following morning when I picked up my car and returned the loaner, the young men working in the garage insisted on transferring the contents of the trunk (scuba gear and tanks) from the loaner into my GLK. I have always received good service at MB of Honolulu but this visit was truly exceptional! Keep up the good work!

I made my appointment a month in advanced. When I arrived everything was ready (loaner car and paper work ) I was in and out very quickly.' Part of that great service was provided by the young lady that handles the loaner cars, I'm sorry I cant remember her name but she is ALWAYS ready to go. Craig Hironaka is my service adviser and he also is always ready to go with outstanding customer service. That being said the rest of my experience is less than great, its down right terrible!!! This is what I see from my side. I see you taking in car after car after car and I'm not sure if these people have to wait as long as I have had to wait but if they do I'm sorry for all of them. I have not and continue to not understand why it ALWAYS, ALWAYS takes so long. I guess when you have a Monopoly on sales and service of M. B. we are just expected to wait. We are a captured customer once they have our car. I have waited as long as three weeks plus, not just once but several times. I recently waited 15 day for four light bulbs to be changed. Then when they are completely finished they return a car that looks like it has been sitting in the corner for weeks. Which it probably was. I'm referring to the car wash. If you cant do it right (they have never been right) then just don't do It. If you want to throw in a courtesy car wash, do it right !! I would feel a little less negativity towards the whole thing , the waiting issue, if I was presented with a clean car. after all I brought it in clean That would lessen the pain of waiting and the paying. PRICES ARE ABSOLUTLY REDICULESS. When there is no other place to go I guess you just have to cough it up no matter how crazy. In closing I want to say again that Craig Hironaka , my service adviser, does it all right . so much better than the lady adviser I once had. The only reason I keep coming back is because of Craig. if not for him I'm gone. Last of all is I hate when I get my car back and the seats,mirrors and radio have all been changed

My service advisor(Kimo Maukala) provided me with excellent service,he's very professional and welcoming. He kept me updated about my car and even went as far as getting me a loaner while my car was being serviced,I didn't expect to get a loaner because it was fairly busy,but Kimo happily accommodated me with one, with that being done I was able to get on with my day,make it to a doctors appointment and my boys were able to go to football practice. I know we all get a bit anxious when our car gives us problems...this past week my car did just that. I called Jeff DeCorte to explain my cars symptoms. I made special arrangements with Warren Ishii to drop my car off late and pick it up the next day on my way to work. Warren was waiting for me and expedited my loaner. I was in and out within minutes. I was notified the next day by Warren that my car was completed, ready, and waiting. When I arrived, Warren had my car parked conveniently, washed, and ready. He had the paper work for my signature ready for me, and I was in and out in 5 minutes. He even held open my door and waved as I departed. Wow, where do you ever find that kind of efficiency and service in this day and age. My car is pretty much problem free but I am almost regretting it as I want to experience more of this kind of "Warren Ishii Service"! (The young lady who handles the loaners is also a superstar! Is her name Jen?)

I cannot say enough about Warren Ishii, he is simply the BEST!Knowledgeable, experienced, thoughtful, patient and kind, Warren's interaction and "style" allow me (and I imagine all of his clients) to engage in honest conversations, asking whatever is on my mind, even the most elementary questions. Moreover, to me, Warren's integrity is very obvious and I trust his honesty. It makes my Service experience worthwhile and educational. When I said to him, my tires are different, the rear tires are wider than the front. He simply replied, yes they are staggered. I now have increased my automotive vocabulary. This was our second purchase of a vehicle at Fletcher Jones Mercedes. We were looking for a new car for my husband and saw this great family SUV for my grandchildren. So after a little discussion with my daughter and son n law we negotiated. We are now arranging to ship to Nevada. This was a preowned certified Mercedes that came with low Milage and warranty. Needless to say the other dealership did not impress and we left there with a very poor taste about car salesmen and new car buying. Warren Ishii,he was the one who helped us . And he was so kind for us to take care what we need. He gave us a loaner too. Hopefully for the next maintenance, we still can afford it. because 2 years ago, my husband brought the car for service, but somebody told him that we have to pay $2,200.00. And my husband brought the car home back because we cannot afford it. We just go to Midas to change oil. But this time, I received an email that our car needs service from Mercedes Benz, so I call and I asked everything how much the cost if we can afford. Well, I think we can afford the quote that he gave it to me,thats why we brought the car in there. And I'm so glad that Warren Ishii was able to help us. From the moment you drive into the dealership we loved that we were greeted by valet. Upon entering the showroom everyone was attentive and just wanted to help us all at the same time, which was awesome! Kanoe who has been with Mercedes for 19 years was awesome. He didn't rush us into buying anything and made us feel at home. He asked us what make and model we were interested in and took us directly to one that was available for a test drive. He explained where all the features were located and made it easier for us to test drive the vehicle. The color vehicle that we wanted in red was not available on the lot but he got one from the warehouse ASAP for me and it was more than I expected in the most happiest way. As soon as I said "I want it!" He had it washed, gassed up, and ready for me to take home. He made the paperwork so very easy for us that only required signatures. He explained everything that was included with car from the exterior to the interior and I was lucky that I got the sports package. He made us feel very comfortable that we shared stories and laughed. Even though we were in a rush, Kanoe made other arrangement should we not have enough time for going over in more details about the car features, he made time the next morning for us to come back with the new vehicle for other questions and even got us an appointment for having the car tinted at a very great price. We hope he and the staff enjoyed the donuts we brought and we look forward to future business with Mercedes of Honolulu! Respectfully,The Happy Bohanon's!

I am always treated like royalty by Jeff De Corte and really appreciate that. I am disappointed in MBUSA because it's unbelievable that my rotors had to be replaced twice in 51,699 miles. I recently purchased a 2014 SLK55 AMG and sincerely hope that MB has done a better job of making their rotors more reliable. My last car before buying my 2003 E320 was a Lincoln Mark VIII and the rotors didn't have to be replaced until I had near 70,000 miles on the vehicle. I contacted MBUSA but in no way should my complaint be considered to be against Jeff.

Craig always does a great job answering questions, and helping me with various issues. He also showed me how the car will give me my tire pressure and other information. He also told me how to help my husband who just got a new battery at Mercedes, and didn't know how to reset his windows. He even took me to see one of the gals in the sales department who explained how my phone connection works. I was having problems. I really appreciate this extra help. That's what makes it 5 star.

Everything this dealership does, it does with the customer in mind. From purchase to service I am sold for life. As a recovering/former BMW owner I can say without reservation, I will never, ever leave Mercedes or this dealership again. As a comparison--BMW always wants to sell you something when your car is being serviced and they never ever have a loaner car unless you buy something. Mercedes is zero pressure to buy anything and always a loaner. BMW service agents are disrespectful. Mercedes are genuinely kind and helpful. In Hawaii BMW and Mercedes are across the street from each. Save time. Skip BMW. Mercedes are all around better cars, built to last but when they need routine service they treat you right. My tire had a razor blade in it and I brought the car in to the dealership to get it looked at. The razor hadn't pierced the tire where it was leaking air but after they assessed it I was told to replace the tire. From the time that I arrived until I was finished everything was professional and pleasant.

I walked into the dealership without appt. I wanted to trade in my car. Robyn was assigned to me and got right on it. Within an hour I had the paper work to my new used certified SUV. I checked on the car and told me they were ficin breaks and put on new tires. I was supposed to come back at 5pm to pick the car up. Robyn set my phone for me and and explained the dashboard etc. we ended up telling for an hour. He invited me to call him anytime I had questions or needed help with the car. He thanked me for my purchase. Robyn is a great salesman. He is not pushy he just helps you find what you are looking for and explains everything so you make informed choices. I would work with him anytime and recommend him to anybody wanting to purchase a Mercedes in Honolulu.

Had several issues going on at once , battery died, safety check, health issues , my car got towed to Mercedes , juliane worked with me , sent someone to pick up my paperwork took care of all issues , and then delivered my car to my mothers house so I could return her car . I so appreciate what she did for me at this time ,and she has a delightful sense of humor which was much appreciated. thank you so much. I recently purchased a Mercedes from another dealer as I thought I was getting a good deal. The safety inspection was due at the end of August and it was due for a Service D, so I decided to take it to the Mercedes dealer for service. I met with Jason and discussed in detail what would be done to the car and how much the service would cost. The next day, Jason called and explained the car was in worse shape than I thought and we talked through an action plan to get the car "healthy" again. Jason was open and straight forward with all the information he presented. While the cost of the repairs GREATLY exceeded what I had planned to pay, I knew the car would be take care of the right way. I could afford to make all the repairs at one time, but did take the dealership recommendations to get the car up to standard and will take it back in the future to finish the repairs. If your car needs service, take it to the Mercedes dealer and see Jason... Chad.

Very friendly atmosphere and our sales person was extremely helpful and nice. The only drawback was the financing part where, going back and forth with the bank and dealership. Usually dealership would do all the leg work for their clients however it wasn't the case. I believe that the sale could have been done in a timely manner if the finance person gave us the PO, in 15 since my bank was still open. So having to wait over the weekend for my bank to open and having to go back and forth was very inconvenience. We knew we were going to purchase for sure but that was the drawback, and finance person not very friendly. Overall, we enjoyed our sales person. Will definitely come back here to buy a brand new MB for my fiance.

I had to bring my car in on an emergency basis, wouldn't shift our of first. They were not able to give me a loaner, because none were available. They provided shuttle service for me to Hawaii Kai. My repair rep called me to set up a rental through a Mercedes contract(a discounted rate), sent the shuttle out to pick me up and bring me to the rental agency. As soon as a loaner was available, Wayne Maeda called and they picked me up at the rental agency. All of these trips were done at my convenience and were done in a timely manner. My vehicle was fixed and returned to me in the shortest time possible.

After moving to Honolulu last year (2010) the first thing I did was look up the Mercedes dealership. By looking up the dealership online I came across sites with reviews of the Honolulu Mercedes Dealership and to my surprise I was shocked and ultimately afraid to take my vehicle to the dealership. My vehicle was due for the A or B service and I decided to just get the oil changed and to do that at one of the simple oil change businesses. The service was great, however, they were not able to reset the readings and they also put too much oil in my vehicle. This put me in the position to turn to the Mercedes dealership. I called and made an appointment but also expressed my concerns about the reviews for the dealership and the gentleman I spoke with validated my concerns but reassured me that I and my vehicle would be in great hands and would receive competent excellent service. Greg took a phone call while I was in his office discussing a Sprinter. He did not take our vehicle buying experience seriously. I felt like I was nothing more than a piece of crap to him. He told me that the soonest that they could get a Sprinter in for us was 6 months out. Come to find out, they have all kinds of Sprinters on their inventory website. One will be available in July is what I was told by Adam..... although the website shows that they already have several in stock. What the heck is going on????? Frankly, I don't know who to trust. I was told that I was going to meet with a manager but that was not the case when I walked in. I was stuck with Greg. This dealership is the snobbiest, most stuck up dealer I have EVER encountered. I would rather have my teeth pulled than buy a vehicle from them. They overprice their inventory and then act like they are giving you a great deal! Adam told me that he would have a manager contact me about an available Sprinter coming in. When I do get the email it is from none other than, you guessed it!!! GREG... ugh. Who quoted me a price of $46,550 plus taxes. But...... he supposedly gave me a $500 discount!!! Really???? We are a Marine Corps family with almost 6 children, don't be expecting any military coming to your establishment because I will not be giving favorable recommendations!!

My wife droped off her car for repairs & was given a loaner. When she arrived home I noticed damages to the front & rear bumpers. My wife said a survey was done & the bumper damages were noted. Our survey copy showed no damages. When I called Mbenz I was transfered to Adam Koo. He took care of everything within ten minutes & emailed the correct survey. He also assured me this problem would be adressed at the next company meeting & had Warren Ishii do a follow up call. Mr.Ishii kept me informed on all the repairs being done to our car. He informed me when our car was competed & went over in detail all the problems & repairs that was done on our car. When we returned the loaner we were greeted by Sophia Kang. During her insection of the loaner she informed me that the car had been vandalized. Sophia Kang & Mr. Ishii informed me on all of our options to take care of the damage to the loaner. I also called Mr. Koo who again made sure eveything was taken care of whith this new problem. I also had dealth with Val Cabral & Christien Freial on several ocations. All of your staff went out of their way to help or inform me. I recently phurchased another extended warranty plan whith information I recived from Mr. Ishii & Mr. Bence. I research different plans & decided that the staff & service Mercedes Benz of Honolulu has to offer is priceless. I recently bought a used Mercedes from a private owner. I was on the way to work when it wouldn't start. Well, I called the dealership and I admit, I was in a really bad mood, and it didn't help that I was on hold for what seemed to be forever, but really was just a few minutes.A young man answered in a cheerful voice which just irked me all the more, and I'm sorry to say I wasn't really very nice to him. He let me vent to him, then when I'd calmed down a bit, he started to take my name, number, car info, and so forth. I told him that I needed them to send a tow truck to my house, and that I wanted a loaner car right away. When he told me they didn't have any loaners to reserve I about blew a gasket on him, and told him I wasn't bringing the car in without one, I expected to have to find another repair shop, but he brought me up short when he pointed out that the car wasn't doing me any good right now, and that it's possible they could get it fixed the same day. I tried to push him to give me a verbal guarantee in would be ready that night because I couldn't be without my car for the weekend, but he honestly told me "I don't want to make you a promise we may not be able to keep, but we'll do our best." That impressed me, because the last place I used to take my old car, they would promise you the moon just to get you in the door, and once you were in, they'd leave you hanging.I had AAA come out and tow the car in, and met with another young guy. He was busy, but they squeezed me in on an emergency basis, got the paperwork done, and gave me a ride to work. He also told me that they didn't have any loaners on hand but he'd put me on a list for one, if somebody didn't come in.The first guy I talked too, called me back later that morning just to check on me, and make sure I'd gotten the car in ok. I thought that was pretty classy of them to do.Later that afternoon they called me back to tell me there was some problem with something electrical (I'm no car guy), and the car was gonna have to stay till they could get some parts shipped in. I was livid and about to rip into that guy, until he told me that they DID manage to get a loan car for me. They even came down to pick me up at my office to bring me back to pick it up.I spent quite a bit of money on the repairs, more than I'd originally planned. It was expensive, but hey, it's a Mercedes Benz right? The whole point of a luxury car is that they're not cheap. It's just nice to know that if something goes wrong with it in the future, the dealer actually does care, and the employees really tried there best to be straight up with me from the beginning.Thanks guys. See you in a few months for an oil change.

I was looking for a sporty sedan and was shopping Jaguar, BMW and MB. Having just relocated to Honolulu, I couldn't afford a new one, so I stopped by to check out their certified used stock. It was unbelievable...they had the used cars sitting amidst the new ones, and in many cases, I couldn't even tell the difference! Their detailing shop did an amazing job prepping the cars for resale.The overall experience in the shop was very good. I never felt like I had been singled-out and stalked. I was given lots of space to look/touch/sit/etc., and I never felt under any pressure.My first contact was by phone to Jonathen Leong, a really friendly guy who seemed interested in making sure I knew exactly what they had in stock before I ever came in, and who kept me up to date as their inventory changed during the time I was looking, often faster than I would see the updates posted to the car websites.I had done my research, so when we started discussing price, things were quite straightforward and I was surprised to see how price competitive they were with dealers on the mainland.Overall, it was a very good experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to go back when I'm ready for another car. I love the new E350...maybe in a couple years!

I bought a new C300 in August of 2010. The sales rep was very professional and helpful. I just now scheduled service my car and have found the dealership to meet and in many cases exceed my expectaions. My only recomendation would be that the scheduled services fees were outlined before I purchased the car. Erik

I have a 2006 mercedes e350.....the check engine light came on....i took it in and they said it was a seal bad on the gas tank so they replaced it. Now, the ck engine light came on again and now they said the whole gas tank is bad and needs replaced....Damn, a 4 year old car and the gas tank is bad?? So, I said go ahead and replace it. The next day they called me back....and I be DAMN'd again. Now, they said the fuel pump and seals are bad and need to be replaced. WHAT? Again, I said a 4 year old car and the whole damn fuel system is bad?? There is a complaint filed with mercedes usa over this. I just can not understand how a 4 year old car can have this many problems with the fuel system!! I used to be a very proud mercedes owner. Now, I think I'm starting to change my mind!!

I WENT IN FOR AN ALINGMENT, THIRD BRAKE LIGHT HAD BLOWN BULBS, AND TURNING SIGNAL WAS NOT RETRACTING SOMETIME AFTER TURNING. I GOT CHARGED 648.00 FOR LABOR, THEY PUT A SPRING FOR MY HORN THAT I DIDN'T AUTHORIZED. AFTER TALKING TO THE SERVICE ADVIDSOR YESTER DAY HE SAID HE TOLD THEM TO DO IT THAT COST ME A NOTHE 120.00. MY PARTS ONLY WAS ABOUT 500 + DOLLARS. tHEY PUT TWO BOLTS FOR MY ALIGNMENT FOR WHAT I DONT KNOW, MY CAR STILL DRIFTS TO THE RIGHT.I AM NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER. i WILL NOT TAKE MY CAR TO THEM EVER AGAIN. I PAID 1200.00 JUST FOR AN ALINGMENT AND OTHER MINOR THING AND STUFF I DIND'T AUTHORIZE. PLUS THEY HAD MY CAR FOR 4 DAYS.I THINK THAT THE LABOR SHOULD NOT BE MORE THAT THE PARTS ONLINE. I CAN BUT THE PARTS AND TAKE THEM SOMEWHERE AND HAVE THEM PUT ON BUY SOME OTHER RELIABLE PLACE IN HAWAII.UNSATTTTT!!!!!!!!!

MB of Honolulu features the worst service department I have ever seen. I brought an older car in, I knew it needed a bit of work, but in the end after paying $6000 they showed me the car, the SRS light was on. I asked what that was? "Oh nothing to worry about" Oh yeah, except you can't get a safety inspection with it like that! Then they tow it back in, and tell me it's $2000 more to fix! It's either that or I can (in his words) "Take it somewhere and have them remove the light bulb". REAL ETHICAL MB!! Of course it took 3 weeks for them to tell me this, so I call the service manager and he tries to blackmail me saying he will give me $100 off if I buy the $1900 part! What a great deal!I just had it towed home, I'll get someone else to fix it. I would stay away from owning a Benz in the Islands, these guys truly do not care one bit about their customers, it's strictly bottom line there. And by bottom line I mean you WILL get screwed!

My experience started with a Friday morning 10:45 A.M. appointment to explain the issues with my car. I received a call at 4:00 P.M. telling me they had just started work, more than five hours after my appointment. Working late that day, I had no way to get to the dealership to pick up my car, which they kept over the weekend. I was stranded without a vehicle for more than 72 hours with no offer of a loaner or payment of a rental. I was left with no choice but to leave my car there, because I was not given the courtesy of a timely phone call to make arrangements. Months earlier I turned in my car for services and repairs, and when I received it back the base plate on the shifter was coming loose. Not having the time to take my car back for something that was not a functional issue I waited until I had to go back two months later. I was told that Mercedes would take no responsibility for breaking the base plate but they would happily replace it for $200. Again, on my Friday appointment, I complained that Mercedes broke my base plate and was assured I could speak to the manager. I had to personally come into the store and demand to see the manager on Monday afternoon before this was accomplished. The manager basically told me there was no way I could prove they had broken it so they would not take responsibility. The implication is that the customer must be able to PROVE that they broke something in order to receive any sort of compensation. Is that good customer service? When I asked if I needed to take video or photographic evidence before I turned my car in for services, to compare to afterwards, I was basically given a should shrug.Finally, after waiting more than an hour on Monday afternoon I got my car back (I had specifically requeste the complimentary car wash at the 10:45 appointment and that Monday afternoon) and it was filthy. They had not even touched it. When I called the manager one last time to reiterate Mercedes Benz of Honolulu's service issues I was greeted by a hostess who claimed the manager was not in today after I had finished speaking with him no more than 10 minutes prior. Overall, their customer service is very poor (lack timely service, lack courtesy, lack understanding of customer's time, will not take responsibility for actions), even if their repairs are okay. It's dissappointing that the Mercedes quality of service has gone the way of the Do-Do. I would reccommend seeking a specialist auto repair shop if your mercedes is out of warranty.

Everyone wants a piece of Paradise, right? Well... We had a piece of paradise when we bought a 2008 Mercedes C300 our Sales person Howard was to me very nice. Later in the months we turned out car in for a cheaper family car... We went on being unsatisfied and so we wanted to get our mercedes back. Did we? no. More like we couldn't. We'd be too much in the NEGATIVE. Soooo we just said forget it then they said that they'd figure out some numbers... Then my mother got a call from ADAM KOO, his demeanor was sooooo disgusting that my mom should've fainted.he pretty much made it seem as if he was better because he THINKS he is.Money dont make a man, man makes MONEY. Believe and TRUST. Im 18 and in my generation id figure someone that works and believes their all that and a bag of chips better make sure they know what their talking about.ADAM KOO if you EVER read this... Believe you are DISGUSTING. Your attitude needs to be FIXED. ADAM KOO? One more thing... YOUR STILL DISGUSTING. =]

I called to make an appointment for service. Originally I was told that if I wanted a loaner, I should plan on making my appointment 3 to 4 weeks in advance. When I called, they were able to accommodate me within four days. When I arrived, they were very busy but was able to get to me within a few minutes of my appointment. The loaner that was provided was almost new and was spotless. I was contacted by my service consultant and updated on the status of service. The cost of the service was expensive, but no more than I have experienced with other dealership. When I picked up my car, my car was not be immediately available, as it had not been washed. They were very apologetic, and explained that the person responsible had called in sick. I had a very short and pleasant wait, which was only a few minutes in their comfortable lounge. The service consultant came to get me in a few minutes and again apologized and delivered my car fully serviced and cleaned. No matter how good a vehicle is, a Service Department can make or break a dealership. I would recommend this dealership, based so far with my experience with their sales and service department.At no time did they ever mention anything about rating them.

The service rep starts with the listing of what you want. Barely listens. Calls you to tell you he can't do it all unless you leave it (after I was told it would be one day) and recommends I pick it up and make another appointment.Washes the car after I said no.Misses some of the problems.Asks if I would rate him excellent.Dealer calls and I list problems. Then she asks I rate them. I rate them low and she then asks if I would please rate them excellent on the national survey.ONLY worry they have is their rating.BTW, never got a thanks from anyone, rep, cashier but did get at thank you from the shuttle driver... he needs to train them all.
