I purchased a Vehicle a couple months ago from Mike Anderson Auto in Plymouth Indiana and I have had nothing but issues with this thing. I was looking at a GMC Terrain and at first I wanted it but after looking at it I noticed some rust on the doors and a little under the hood. I changed my mind after that and due to no inspection yet on the vehicle I wasn't going to get it. The manager ended up finding an inspection sheet and a parts and labor from for what was done recently by the previous company they received it from. Everything seemed good as he made it sound like a great buy. As I left the car lot I was driving home and he forgot to take the magnetic license plate of the top of the vehicle and it ended up bouncing across the top of the vehicle and breaking the Antenna. They did replace the antenna I will give them that but that was just careless. After about a week and a half I went back to the lot with the vehicle and I told them there was something rattling in the front end of the vehicle, possibly the axles, or shocks. I didn't notice this when I test drove the vehicle as I drove it on a highway. On my way to work one morning I came to a stop light and the car started bogging until it died. I was having issues with the A/C as well. I also told him I had taken the vehicle to a body shop and there was an excessive amount of rust underneath the vehicle. So after all that was does the guy tell me. "THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO FOR YOU"..... Of course there is nothing they can do they got rid of the problem and got paid for it. He also tells me "YOU BOUGHT A USED CAR".... Well I cant speak for everyone but $12,300 is a lot of money for a vehicle that has this many issues and continues to have more and more issues. Last week it started knocking due to burning all the oil out of it in the time I had it. Took it to a mechanic and he told me that he has dealt with these vehicles and their issues with them burning oil and they are having to replace the pistons, rings, and timing chain. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the trouble go somewhere else to get a vehicle. I will not and would never recommend this place after this experience with them. One other thing I Noticed I bought and was only looking at this vehicle for $12,300 but the loan request I got in the mail was for $26,000 from Mike Anderson Auto not sure if they were just trying to get more but it seemed strange to me that I would need a $26,000 loan for a $12,300 Vehicle. After all this we finally get the vehicle in for repairs and come to find out the manager of Mike Anderson in Plymouth Indiana Rusty Cauffman lied about somethings being checked. He told me he had the brakes checked and they were good. After 2 weeks later they start grinding and I take the vehicle to another shop they said the brakes are shot. I called the dealer where the repairs are done and they said they werent told to check them nor did they check them. Would not and will not ever buy through this place again. Do yourself a favor and look around more because there are better deals and better quality of vehicles out there. Hope this helps.
