Sales person did not seem to know the car, never pointed out or explained features. Had to ask for a test drive. When we asked for a particular model, said their selection was small since most of previous years were sold, few of new year models had arrived. After finally making a selection and negotiating a price, their real games began. Retail order had over $1150 of bogus charges. Car wash-$95.00, Window etching- $199.00, then $850.00- Car delivery fee. We walked out because they refused to delete any of those.

I walked in to Mini of Morristown recently expecting to just do a test drive and left a few hours later with the perfect new vehicle. I worked with Lenny (Leonard Danduone) who was a true pleasure. It was a no pressure environment and they really made the whole process go smoothly and efficiently. Lenny made sure I knew all the ins and outs of the vehicle before I drove off the lot. I would highly recommend Mini of Morristown and working with Lenny.

I just left the dealership, my first service visit. Fantastic crew, top notch service. I cannot express enough the high quality help and assistance they provided, from every detail. My uncle goes here as his home service location for his JCW and we are both very pleased with the quality of work they do. Even though it's quite a ways from me, I'll gladly do the drive here. Kellie and her staff went above and beyond to get me quality work in a very quick time. Cheers!

I just received my first mini this Saturday and thanks to Miguel and Kyle I had a very pleasant experience. They were extremely patient with getting me approved even with my bad credit and found a car to fix the options that I wanted. I couldn't be any happier than you again so much!

I did a lot of research before selecting my car and needed to stay in my price point.Jerry Filippatos was all sunshine & rainbows on the meet and greet. Schoolboy smile and the like.We struck a deal and while the paperwork was being prepared my friend and I went forcoffee. We came back and were escorted into the loan office to find suspicious fees attached to the loan page. For example there was a whopping $850 destination fee for a used car & clerical expense wasalmost $500 as well as an additional $199 for the ominous etch fee. When I asked to see Jerry he magically disappeared. Numerous attempts were made by staff to locate him to no avail. Caution: Watch the bottom line and all expenses & stay away from Jerry

I recently took my Mini Countryman S in for an oil change. Shortly thereafter I found there were two other serious issues which I was made aware of be Kellie. At first I expected a long wait time and an expensive dealership price tags for the service. Kellie was extremely professional, informative and accessible via phone or email. She did her best to work within my budget to keep the price competitive for a dealership. She called and emailed me several times throughout the day with clear numbers and updates so there was no confusion. In the end I am lucky she is my service agent. I generally prefer my local mechanic because I find the pricing more competitive and the service more personal than most dealerships. That is no longer the case with Mini of Morristown. Kellie was extremely personable and the pricing was very reasonable. Not to be quoting movies but, "I will be back".Anthony G

Mini of Morristown is awesome! The customer service is excellent! I worked with Miguel, Kyle, and Mike. A friend referred me to Sales Manager Miguel who was able to work with me on my numbers before I even went in to the showroom. He had my car ready for me when I went in this morning to sign all my paperwork. Miguel introduced me to Motoring Advisor Kyle, who was absolutely excellent! He answered the billion questions that I had and did so with a great sense of humor and smile. Finance Manager Mike made the final paperwork a breeze! I will definitely be recommending Mini of Morristown! Thank you guys for an excellent and easy car buying experience!!!

If you are in the market for a new car I recommend you stop by and check out Mini Cooper of Morristown. I recently purchased my second Mini Cooper from them and met one of the nicest guys you could ever want to meet, Lenny. Lenny is smooth, approachable, not overbearing, and very knowledgeable of the cars he sells. I was very impressed by his professionalism and patience. Lenny and Jose stand behind their product. Even if you dont purchase a mini cooper, just stop by and asked for Lenny and you will see what I mean. I guarantee Jose will make sure you walk out of the dealership with your new mini.

I bought the new 4 Door Mini, trading in a wonderful 2013 Countryman which I had also purchased from Mini of Morristown, wanting to get back to a manual transmission to "Get my shift on." I have always loved Mini's fun colors and I went with the Volcanic Orange. I had a a very thoughtful and thorough salesman, Kyle Lightfood, a real American Cherokee. Kyle searched for the vehicle I wanted and when his search had no results, he suggested I order the car of my dreams. I placed the order on 1/16/15 and picked the car up on 2/20/15. Amazing!!! I have never had a car made for me before so it was a special experience. Mini of Morristown takes customer service to a new level, one most customers have not experienced. I have owned over 15 cars including 2 Jaguars and for me there is no car like a Mini; Good looking, fun, safe, great mileage and handles like a dream!! If you haven't tried a Mini, put it on your bucket list; it will not disappoint.

Just wanted to thank my new friends at Mini of Morrestown. Bill, Kyle and Lenny did a great job of guiding my son through his first purchase of a high end car. We had been searching for some time for a great shape used BMW and located one at Mini. They worked with my son (21 year old) honestly through the presentation of the car and the preparation for sale. They picked me up (finance manager) at the local train station and closed the deal in the most professional and respectful business manner any client could expect. Very comfortable with this establishment's excellent business ethics and high end team.Thank you guys for helping my son and I realize this...great day for us!

Initially, I bought my car through Prestige MINI and regretted it ever since. Horrible experience and quickly went to Morristown MINI. They actually take car of your car, and access what needs to be done. I can't speak for their sales department, but I know some of the people that worked at Prestige went to Morristown. Their service is excellent. Always take car of my car. Had a check engine light issue for years and they finally fixed it. Highly recommend this dealer for service!

I LOVE Mini of Morristown Service Dept...those guys are the BEST!! Usually, Fred Gallo takes care of my appointments. Fred is always professional, pleasant, knowledgeable, respectful and helpful. The service is second to none. The service department is always transparent with the customer in mind. They want to make sure that not only your Mini is serviced in the most professional way, but that it is done in a cost-effective manner, and that the overall experience is satisfactory to the vehicle owner. And, if there is a problem, just go to Fred and he will make sure that it is addressed and fixed, with no compromises. Great customer service is not for when there are no problems, but how deal with problems when they present themselves. Fred and his crew are number one, and I trust they will always do the right thing.Have been using Mini Morristown service dept since I bought my first Mini from them back in 2004.I still think it is worth driving up from Virginia Beach, VA, area to have my car serviced there. So I will keep coming back. Five stars!

I purchased my 2003 Mini privately in Sept of 2013. .It was in exceptional shape tho it had 182,000 miles on it which I knew was risky but still thought it was a great deal at only $3400. Drove it for 3 mos and the motor "blew up". I knew it was serious as it was literally blowing raw fuel out the tail pipe. Nobody at MINI had ever even encountered such a thing. I had it towed to Mini or Morristown who confirmed the bad news. They quoted me $7500 for a brand new motor rite outa the crate from BMW but I toldem I just couldn't swing it and I'd be down to tow it back. I received a call later in the week from Erving Sanchez in service who said look. When we evaluated it on computer we found NOTHING else whatsoever wrong with it. You seem like a good person and I can tell how upset you are for having to give up this great little car so I went to my superiors and we can get you the motor for 6K. I said...It will take me a coupla mos to come up with the cash but DO IT! But ya gotta take yur time as I need time to get the money together. He said No Problem and ordered the motor from Germany. They did find a few other minor things which had to be replaced along the way...understandably so but the best was not only getting a brand new motor but a new clutch as well for only the cost of parts as they already had the motor out. They also found the computer to be defective and Erving managed to get it warrantied! They had my Mini for 2 mos all thru the tretcherous winter we had and treated it with TLC. LOL...Erving said we musta brought it in and washed it like 5 times to wash the salt off. I can't say enough about the excellent service not to mention the compassion I received from them. I brought "Percy Hawthorne" home February 22nd and have been enjoying him EVERY DAY ever since with no problem and no return visits. Thanks guys for caring so much about this little treasure that you too did NOT want to see go to the junkyard for parts!

I bought my car at prestige mini dealer but they didn't have any available appointments to run a 30 pt inspection. I'm leaving for vacation so I decided to come to morristown mini. My appointment was for 230. I asked how long this takes when I arrived the receptionist with curly hair said half hr. I wasn't in the computer and instead of taking my info she deleted another persons info with the same name and put my address n phone number which I still don't understand why that's ok. After waiting an hour I asked how much longer they said they are waiting for paperwork. She came at 4pm to tell me what the results were and said all she needs to do is type up the results it is now 4:21 and I'm still waiting here. Definitely go to Prestige Mini Cooper in Mahwah, Nj

I've dealt with Morristown Mini for 10 years, with service on my first Cooper and now the purchase of a 2nd. I don't have a bad word to say about them. Service was always great, if pricey, but that's a given with dealerships. My buying experience was, though not problem-free, excellent. Salesman Kyle Lightfoot is enthusiastic, friendly, honest and knowledgeable. He walked me through all stages of designing my car, kept me informed as the delivery date changed due to production problems in England, explained and helped me set up all the new features of this vastly-improved car. I loved my first Cooper S, but this Cooper blows that one out of the water in terms of drive and ride. Those horrible run-flat tires are a distant memory. I hope to drive this car into the ground as I did the last and when I'm done, I'll be back for my next Mini.

I just bought my first Mini Convertible. The Salesman Dave D. was not good, he was great. Helped me customize the car in ways that I would never have thought of. The entire transaction was easy with no salesman double talk. I am looking forward to enjoying the car for years to come.MWische

So they sell my mom the car, she has had 4 flat tires in one year with a 2011 Mini Cooper. The tires are run flats and they have a locking wheel nut. Mini Cooper of Morristown has been the only place where the tires have been replaced. She does not have the key for the locking wheel nut. Either one never came with the car or after changing one of the 4 flats Mini service forgot to put the key back in the holder. Now with another flat we can't get the tire off and Mini wont help. But they are happy to sell us a new key and four new replacement locks. Great sleazy service department.

Here is a recap of the issue. My wife purchased a 2009 Mini Cooper S from Mini of Morristown in Feb 2013. As part of the purchase we also paid for a 60 month tire plan that cost $2,399.00. Nine months later in Nov 2013 into a 60 month tire plan agreement we sold this Mini Cooper S and I requested a refund on the unused portion of this tire plan. We finally got a refund check in the amount of $886.77!!! This was an amazingly low refund given that only 15% of the term of the contract had expired and you were refunding us only 37% of the original purchase price. I called Brian Blute the finance manager at Morristown Mini and he told me that it was a reimbursement calculation as determined by NIU of Florida, Inc. I called NIU and was told that in fact their only involvement was the a small deduction cost for an administrative fee and that Mini of Morristown handled all other remaining aspects of the reimbursement. Completely different feedback than what Brian Blute provided me on the phone. At this point Ive now left Brian Blute and Amy Musleh the general manager phone calls that have not been returned. While I understand attentive and good customer service when you are trying to sell a car one would at least hope there is some level of basic customer service once a car has been sold and the financial details are being wrapped up. At this point we honestly feel ripped off in this transaction with Mini of Morristown. We would like a refund of the remaining portion of the initial plan cost in the amount of $1,152.38 that would reflect the remaining balance to get us to a 85% of the full term of the unused tire plan. This $1,152.38 when added to the $886.77 we received from Morristown Mini would get us to $2, 039.15 and reflect a 85% refund on the initial 60 month tire plan.

The gentlemen in the service department is why I stay with MINI. Although it is a great car, dealing with the service men is why I stay. They take care of my husband's and my mini (we own 2) as if we were family. I have even told them that if they left, I would buy a car from wherever they go. Also, we have bought two mini's from the same sales man. You really can't ask for better people to deal with.

I have to say, everyone I dealt with at Morristown MINI was great and very friendly except for our salesman Steve. We'd done a lot of research and went in knowing exactly what we wanted and how much it was going to cost, He kept trying to tack on additional costs and quoted us a much higher price, I'm not sure why there needs to be a delivery fee for a car that's sitting in the parking lot. Over all this guy rubbed me the wrong way and definitely seems to be a stero-typical car sales snake, it's a shame because Morristown is so close but it's definitely worth taking a little further drive up to Prestige.

When I was having my car serviced one day, a woman whose son was about to purchase a Mini Cooper came over to the department and broadly asked the people waiting about what their experience had been. I immediately said to her "Have your son buy that car this minute and don't look back!" ANYBODY can buy a car anywhere, but the key factor most people don't account for is the quality of service after the check is signed. That young man was lucky his mother was an astute consumer. Why? Because the place where customer satisfaction and brand loyalty are truly born and nurtured is at the Customer Service Counter, NOT the sales desk. Prior to purchasing my Cooper, I owned a Lexus. I will never, ever buy another car other than from Mini of Morristown. Why?Because I feel safe driving a little car that gets a lot of TLC from Erving and his team. When I come in for a routine service, they check everything thoroughly. When I have a problem, they don't rest until it's resolved. One time, I came in three times for a noise and Erving had me come back when the Shop Foreman, Bill could take a drive with me to see if they could determine the source. What other dealership DOES that today? Another time, my tire indicator said I had low pressure in one of them. I filled it with air. Two days later, the indicator light signaled again. I was going to Connecticut the next day. I pulled into Mini of Morristown without an appointment. Erving and his team worked me into the schedule and found a nail in my tire and fixed it while I waited. What other dealership DOES that today? The team smiles, they are patient and respectful of everyone. One day, I witnessed Erving handle a difficult and unappreciative customer with the utmost courtesy. NOTHING was going to make that man happy, but Erving didn't let that stop or bother his efforts to do so.It doesn't stop at the Customer Service desk either. Why?Because right after the New Year, I drove home after that snowy blizzard hit New England. When I started my car on Saturday morning for the long trip back from Boston, all FOUR of my tires were low. I knew it was from having the car parked in freezing temperatures. My washer fluid was frozen and wouldn't spritz. As I neared Morristown, I called the dealership to see if I could swing by to have this attended to. The first response was that the Customer Service department had closed for the day. I wasn't satisfied and said to whomever I spoke to that I was coming anyway and expected these simple tasks to be attended to. When I arrived, Gerry (in Sales) took over. He greeted me and was so GRACIOUS in his helpful and deft handling of my car. I waited in the Customer Service area with a cup of coffee (always delicious by the way) and when Gerry pulled up my car, it was even WASHED! Amy stopped by to chat with me and I was so impressed with these simple courtesies.Amy and Gerry understand, as well as the Customer Service team: everybody's job is Customer Service.Because of this unique spirit at the dealership, I carry the business cards of Mini of Morristown in my purse. I know one person who has purchased a Cooper Clubman at the dealership because of my enthusiasm. I've handed out your cards in parking lots and on the street to anyone who asks me about my Mini. Why?Because I owe it to the people who sold and service my Mini Cooper.Thank you for your leadership in fostering this culture in your car business, Sincerely, Thaddea B. Kuchera

I leased a 2012 Mini Cooper hardtop in 2012. Although there have been a few issues that required me to come in for service, the service experience has been amazing. Erving and his team make a potentially frustrating experience very easy. He has the ability to explain what is happening and what needs to be done in simple terms. He is also very friendly and a true gentleman. I will be getting my next at at this dealership because of the service department.Well done!Ken Kramer

David Dobbler was very knowledgeable and did a great job with the sale. The finance department was very accommodating and DID NOT try to OVER SELL me on service packages! Kudos to them for getting me just what I need. The 2010 Mini Cooper is great! I would recommend this car and this dealership again! A+++++!!!!

Best car buying experience of my life. Efficient, quick, extremely friendly management and staff. Kyle Lightfoot delivered all as promised, and spent a very cold evening outside going over the car with me before I drove it out of the dealership. He was very clear about the cost of the car and took me out to the yard to show me the three cars he had available in white, helping me to make my selection. He advised me to take out tyre insurance, and explained all the benefits of this added insurance. I shall certainly be recommending Mini of Morristown to any of my friends and acquaintances looking to this brand of car, and will definitely point them in Kyle's direction. A very pleasant and well-groomed young man, with a delightful personality.

Steven was a lot of fun to deal with, never pressured us into the sale. Showed us all out options and went over all the features. Knew more about the mini then any other dealership I visited. This was our third mini and by far the best experience ever. We will continue our relationship with Steven for sure.

Overall, the experience was great!I will give this dealer a 4, just because the price on labor was high and the lack of loaner cars made me to re-schedule my day. I was pleased to be greeted and I liked how the Service Advisor, Erving Sanchez listened to me and let me explain the reason why I was taking my car in. I told him I wanted to be proactive about a recall for MINI on the time tensioner chain, even though my car didn't fall into it, he took the time to check it. Turns out my car did need that recall to be fixed, he explained to me what was wrong with my car and also advised me about my rear breaks, which I went ahead and got them to change them. Luckily, my car is still under warranty for major fixed and this was cover by the manufacturer. I have to pay for the break service only, which I considered was high. I have to say, after reading previous reviews about this dealer I couldn't understand why people weren't please with their customer service since I had a great experience.

Unfortunately, I had to go to this dealer to get a flat tire replaced after superstorm sandy last year. I have the tire insurance and have had tires replaced painlessly at my dealer elsewhere in NJ. Here I waited more than 5 hours and was told repeatedly it was due to the insurance I had purchased from the other dealer and that this dealer didn't sell that particular insurance. In addition, they told me I should have other tires replaced due to the wear and I declined (thankfully since I took my car to my dealer a few weeks later and they told me the tires were fine). After waiting 5+ hours, I was obviously frustrated and watched the service manager leave for lunch without providing an update. I finally just asked them to replace the tire and that I would pay for it and wait for the insurance to reimburse me. I was shocked at the lack of professionalism and the rudeness. Having sat there for an extended period of time, I saw the way they treated other customers. I just purchased a new mini and did not even consider going to this dealer even though they were technically more convenient.

I bought my used 2008 Mini Cooper from Mini of Morristown this summer. The Salesman was great during the purchase, but I have heard that going back to dealerships for service on your car was a money pit...however, they seemed SO nice during the purchase and even though Morristown is trip from Nyack NY--I felt that I could trust them. When went back because of a service light and a tire pressure warning light--I was sure it was going to be expensive, but everything was covered excepted for the lug nut that was missing from my tire. They threw that in for free. They were fast, friendly, washed my car and gave me coffee--what more could you want?

Erving Sanchez has serviced my 2006 Mini Cooper for 3 years, first as the foreman/technician and now as a service manager. He is the reason I return to this dealership over and over. Once when the sunroof motor failed, Erving talked me through manually closing my sunroof OVER THE PHONE until I could get the car in to be serviced. He is always helpful and flexible. He treats his customers as if they are family and is always honest about what needs to be fixed and what can wait until a later date. Now, I have a 2011 Mini Cooper and live in Boston, MA. I drive 5 hours to have my car serviced at Mini of Morristown because of Erving. His expertise and knowledge are invaluable! It is SO hard to find a good honest mechanic these days, especially at a dealership. Thanks Erving!!!

I purchased my 2006 Mini Cooper S Cabrio with automatic transmission (MCSCa) July 15, 2006. While that was a smooth transaction, this review is of the service department, as I have used it exclusively, save for one emergency visit elsewhere when I could not get to Morristown. In my 7+ years of ownership, Erving Sanchez and Fred Gallo have both been constants in the service department. Fred ran the service desk and became department manager, while Erving was the shop foreman and recently started running the service desk. Though I have used this dealer for service for 7+ years, I am writing this review specifically because in the past month I had occasion from, replacement of my OEM shocks with KONI shocks, to be reminded just how much I love these guys. So, why use a dealership once the car is out of warranty? I think they would typically be more expensive and I am sure there must be places that would undercut their price. I came in with that perception, but learned I could trust I'd not get beaten up on price.Well, early on while under warranty, I learned that Erving, besides being one of the nicest guys you'd ever want to meet, is a master mechanic. In the tri-state area there is probably no one better. If you don't accept that, sign up for the North American Motoring website and read the forums. This is a site devoted to Mini owner-enthusiasts.So, with only 45K miles on the car, I didn't need a lot of maintenance over the years, but like many Mini owners, I've done many upgrades, or modifications. I didn't want anyone but Erving working on or supervising these modifications and I wasn't treated badly on the pricing, which made the whole experience a pleasure. I had the best in the business doing my work and I wasn't getting hosed either.Dealership shops have standard times to do the various services to vehicles. Well, these guys were fair. If the book was right, they stuck to it. If the book was too generous, they cut me the slack. Considering I was always getting excellent work, I was feeling very fairly treated.Additionally, they were doing some fairly sophisticated work at times. They easily could have jacked the cost, but they never did and Erving always reviewed the nuances of what they were doing, or contending with, when a modification of a non-OEM part was being installed. Just to frame this for those who have any idea about modifications, they changed out my original dash for JCW carbon fiber, put in a Euro parcel shelf, changed to a JCW air box, upgraded my rear sway bar and upper and lower control arms to NME, put in a Craven reduction pulley for the supercharger, added front camber plates, put in a TSW under chassis brace, upgraded to KONI shocks and a TCE big brake kit front and rear, and a Milltek exhaust. I'd say I know their service department pretty well by now. And I handled a few simple mods myself (e.g., M7 strut brace and air diverter, ALTA silicone tubing, a PU carbon fiber hood scoop, etc.), so I know this is no easy task.As stated, my latest experience was my KONI shock replacement. Not all non-OEM parts always go in so easily as you might think. This was one of those times. There was a hitch and Fred Gallo, the manager, phoned me about it to try to work out a resolution. He also spoke to the distributor too. He went above and beyond to find a solution and then Erving made sure the adaptation was made to make it all work. I now am driving on the new KONI shocks and love the feel. While Erving has been the master mechanic, Fred has always been a great person to work with in making arrangements. As long as I'd call a few weeks in advance (and even sometimes when I couldn't), he'd accommodate the appointment times I requested and the loaner car arrangements I needed. This time, while in for the KONI shock replacement, was no exception. I wanted to try out the new coupe and Fred arranged that as my loaner.Fred and Erving make a great team. Even now that Erving has moved out of the service bays, I know he still goes back there to check on things and he still road tests the results and his road test of the new KONIs after addressing the fitments issue was the reason why my ride is now so much improved. It is comforting to know he's looking out for me and my Mini.Frankly, I was shocked by the few bad reviews. I suppose anyone can have a bad day, but even when something didn't go quite perfectly, as happened on this shock replacement, I found these two gents going above and beyond to fix things. I give them my highest recommendation.

This REVIEW is totally for service! Erving in service...is a Blessing, a Shepard; one who has worked on Mini's and knows what he's talking about be it that he was there shop foreman now working in service.I purchased a 2007 S there way back and had it serviced by Erving when he was working in the shop and he always made the process painless and took the time to explain to you what was getting down, how it was going to be done. If there was going to be a problem Erving always made time to talk with you and tell you when you'll have your car back.Fast-forward 2013I currently drive a 2010 S. Erving is still there, taking his time explaining the process letting you know that he is there to make this process as painless as possible and get you back into your car as quickly as possible. Even though he's no longer working in the back he still does his job as if he still there.DO I RECOMMEND THERE SERVICE YES!IF ERVING IS NOT THERE YOU BETTER SEE FRED!IF BOTH OF THEM LEAVES.....LORD HAVE MERCY!Tre...blk mini...blk gut...no inspection sticker...no front plate...blackout....NICE!

During my previous service visit I was fortunate to meet Erving Sanchez who provided me his card with more than one number to reach him. Receiving my loaner car was quick and easy and he even let me pick the one I wanted to drive. He called me personally to tell me my car was finished and counseled me on my warranty and various ways to continue my expiring warranty. He did not pressure me in any way. He was courteous and friendly not only to me but with his coworkers. It is easy to tell they all like each other. This time when I needed service I called Erving directly from his business card and I was pleased he still worked there and help set me up with my service appointment. (He's worked there for 12 years so that must mean something). On top of this, I was able to sit comfortably with coffee and bagels, until it was determined what needed to be done. I even liked my loaner car so much I think I found my new mini and was directed immediately to someone who took my info when one becomes available. All people who worked in service were helpful as well. Keep up the good work.

I have been servicing my Cooper S with Erving and Almaz since I bought the car two years ago. From my first interaction with the service department where Fred helped me make the decision to buy the extended service and warranty contracts because of how much I drive, I've had great experiences. The Mini now has 57k miles on it and I go out of my way to make sure it gets serviced with Erving in Morristown. While it's not always the most convenient (there are probably 2 other Mini dealers that are closer...) Erving and Almaz have the customer experience down. They go out of their way to manage expectations, and whenever possible they will over-deliver. While it is clear to me the service department's objective is to satisfy every customer every time, on the rare occasion that something might slip through the cracks, Erving jumps into gear and resolves the issue calmly and deliberately. And when it comes time to buy my next Mini, Dave Dobler will get the call. Dave has helped me through my "almost purchase" in 2008 and then "the purchase" in 2011. His knowledge and demeanor are appreciated and he is always available to answer questions. A true professional.

I was really dreading buying a new car but I'm happy, and surprised, to say that my experience at Morristown Mini went really well. Stephen made the experience painless and helped me order a car that is exactly what I want and within my budget. When my Mini arrived he took the time to sit with me and go over everything in my new car. I'll definitely be coming back here for my next Mini!

I was first drawn to this dealership because of their extensive inventory of pre-own Mini's. My first experience at the dealership was great I worked with a wonderful salesman and I would recommend him to anyone, Lenny. When I returned to the dealership to you finally decide on a vehicle I worked with Steve. I have to admit that I researched the reviews on this dealership and Steve had many many negative reviews however I decided to go in with no pre-assumptions on how It would be dealing with any other salesman. Lenny was out and so I dealt with Steve and this has to be the worst car buying experience of my life. I will say this I'm sure Steve is a wonderful salesman when you have all the money in the world and you're looking to buy brand-new and spend thousands of dollars on the mini. I have a budget and I wanted to work with in that budget and Lenny was able to work within that budget however Steve was not interested in that whatsoever. Steve was not interested in my trade-in or using my trade-in as value towards the purchase of the preowned vehicle. His demeanor was rude and condescending and I will be calling the dealership about this as well. If you decide to go to this dealership deal with Lenny and if you're looking for preowned car see Billy the manager.

Awesome service with no attitude. After dealing with horrid people at Prestiege Mini, I decided to give morristown a shot. It was like night and day. The distance is further, but not dealing with attitudes makes the drive worth it for me. Very impressed with Erving and the rest of the staff.

My daughter had a blow out from hitting a pot hole far from her home. Irving helped her contact the MINI road service who put the spare on her car so she could get to the dealership. He gave her his cell number also so that if she had any other problems she could reach him directly. She took her car to the dealership and he helped to replace the snow tire and also provided some good advice about tire purchases. His service was personal, efficient and addressed the problem effectively. I would highly recommend the service center at this MINI dealership and intend to seek Irving's service at future visits.

I have had my Mini Clubman serviced here for the past 4 years and have always been satisfied. Mike is very thorough when reviewing the service requirements and always covers other service that may be required without any hard sell. My Mini has been very reliable and based on the service I have received when the time comes for my next car I wouldn't hesitate to take my business here.

My fiancee and I walked in there thinking that we are going to get a Mini Cooper Roadster S, but hoping that we will get into a car within a couple of weeks. It was hard because I wanted every option you can imagine on the car, and he wanted a manual transmission. Stephen straight out lied to us to get us to put a down payment on the car and sign for it. He told us that there is a car that is just getting on the ship in Germany and it will be delivered in two weeks. We put $1,000 in cash and waited. He called on the following Monday, saying that it won't be two weeks, it will be three weeks. Then I had a question, and I called him and left him a message. No call back. I called on the following week on a day that he wasn't in. I spoke to the sales manager, and I found out that the car is still in production. The sales manager Ed said he will check with corporate on the status of the car and get back to me on the following day. I still didn't get a call by 4:30 PM on the next day, and I called. They said there was no answer. On the next day, I went to the dealership and asked for my money back. They wouldn't give me my money back.My fiancee's friend, who is a tech at that dealership went into the system and checked our VIN and found out that the car didn't even go into production!!!!!! This jerk wanted our money, so he lied to us and was planning on just jerking us around, and tried to get us to wait at least 8 weeks for a car that we didn't even pick out to the exact spec that we wanted.DON'T EVER TALK TO STEPHEN ACKERMAN. HE IS LYING, GREEDY, SELFISH AND HE DOES'T DESERVE ANY BUSINESS.

A couple of weeks ago my clutch went on my 2012 Mini Cooper s Countryman, this after only 19,000 miles, my wife had a 2006 now a 2005 both still with the original clutches. I have been driving manual transmission cars and trucks for 25 years and never burned through a clutch let alone in less then a year. Mike took the car replaced the clutch (the first one is on Mini - that might explain things). He took pictures and showed me the wear on it. He also explained that it is unlike any other clutch out there, and exactly how it works with the auto adjust when it starts to wear, and how it is hydraulic with a very high catching point. He was very understanding with my wife and I as we complained about the fact that there is no true clutch feel or "sweet spot". I have never has a bad experience with any service on any of our Minis. They are a pleasure to work with on all service visits.

Charged $200 to reprogram the Mini's ECU which should have been covered since it was a recall. If that's not bad enough, they also charged over $300 for four new spark plugs. Also charged $400 to fix a small coolant leak on the thermostat. Walked out with a bill of just over $1,000. Absolutely sickening, will NEVER go back there!

Worst dealer experience I have ever had so far. Joe, the salesman was very cut and dry, not very friendly or accommodating. When I expressed what kind of monthly payment I was thinking about for the car, he told me, " yea, and I want to go to Disney World, but we just don't always get everything we want." I couldn't believe the response! I decided not to pursue the car, and the grief they gave me getting my deposit back was incredible. It took me calling almost every day, FOR A MONTH, before they credited me. I could never get in touch with Russ Wildrick, the manager. When I was able to speak with him directly, he had a different excuse every time as to why I still haven't received my deposit, mostly "paperwork" processing. I paid with a credit card- at my job if I need to refund someone back their money, it's done in seconds. I never heard such nonsense. His tone was clear that he did not have any regard for me or my concerns, such shoddy customer service, considering this was an established dealer in the heart of Morristown. It was absolutely the worse run around I have ever gotten. I could have expected it from the salesman, but not the manager of the dealer. I went elsewhere, got the most wonderful car and was treated with the utmost customer service, that I should of had at Mini of Morristown. I will never recommend this dealership to anyone...ever.

Stephen made my purchase a no brainer. Once he realized what was important to me in purchasing a car his approach was unsurpassable. The deal was made in less than 15 minutes. May I also say that from start to finish it was a breeze. Brian in the financial also went out of his way to add on a warranty after I purchased the car. I would recommend Morristown Mini to anyone in the area looking for a great experience. Steven Brown

Ryan Guercio made my second experience leasing a Mini a very fun day. My experiences throughout my first lease were excellent, but with my new lease I was able to add some details to my new car customizing it to fit me perfectly. Ryan spent a lot of time talking with me to made sure he completely understood all the nuances I was looking to add or upgrade in my new lease. I appreciated never feeling rushed while deciding and if I needed something explained a second time he was more than happy to go over things again. Overall it was a perfect "lease a new car" day. Brian Blute handled my financing this time around. He was my salesman three years ago so having already worked with him made my pick up day equally enjoyable. I have already referred two acquaintance to this dealership.

All I can say is this: If you want to buy a mini, or even just look at them to see if they are right for you, ask for Steve. He is easily the most down to earth non-threatening car salesman I have ever worked with. He knows the product inside and out, which is good for someone like me. I had about a thousand questions ranging from mechanical to aesthetic. Seeing as how he drives one, he answered them all; and did so in such a fashion that after leaving, i felt like i could call him a friend. Totally worth the drive down there.

My wife and I just purchased our third Mini from this dealership----second with Dave Dobler. On all three occasions, we found the cooperation, responsiveness and courtesies afforded by the sales staff to be outstanding. Dave understood what we were looking for and provided excellent advice and assistance throught the process. We have also brought all our Minis to Morristown for our servicing needs and have received nothing but the best treatment from ease of scheduling to the quality of work. My wife and I highly recomment this dealership.

I was on the market for a new car and went in to Morristown MINI just to weigh all of my options. Steve really helped me. His customer service was outstanding, and it was one of the few times I've ever been car shopping where I didn't feel like I was being lied to the entire time. Steven walked me through the process from start to finish and really made me feel comfortable switching from my Audi. I was told to consider switching to a Mini, but before I walked into the dealership I was a little bit skeptical. I bought a used '07 MINI this past year at this dealership. The sales team was a standard team; knowledgeable, but nothing to outwardly rave about. The real reason for a superior experience with this dealership is the way I was treated by the service department; especially the Service Manager, Fred Gallo. An issue eventually arose with the Check Engine light and I spoke with the service department. I was eventually put into contact with Fred to possibly resolve, or at least get to the bottom of all my issues. The car had a very particular issue that took a few days to diagnose and correct, to which Fred was calling me on the phone almost daily with progress updates.I have had very bad experiences in the past when dealing with other car dealerships and just the way that Fred treated my like I was the only person with a car issue was refreshing to experience.Fred's honesty and thoroughness when dealing with my car would be my number one reason to do business with Mini of Morristown in the future.

I purchased a used MINI Cooper from Jerry about a month ago now and to say that it was a great experience is an understatement..... Jerry really went above and beyond to make sure that my family and I were taken care of and comfortable with our purchase. He introduced us to his pre-owed manager, and general manager, as well as a service advisor that we can go to when our fist service comes up! Over all it was one of the best experiences I've had making a major purchase like this. I would recomend everybody i know to buy a car at Morristown MINI and Jerry F.-Richard C.

I purchased a used 2007 Honda Ridgeline from Amy and her team at Open Road Mazda. I was given red carpet treatment from the moment I rolled onto their property, till now. I was greeted with a smile from all staff and had doors held open for me (sounds like a small thing, but when you are as uncomfortable and uneasy about purchasing a vehicle as I was-- it definitely went a long way). Not once did I feel pressured during the process, and I definitely felt like I was given the completely history of the vehicle that I was looking at. The attention not only went to me (who was purchasing the vehicle), but extended to my family. My parents, and my aunt were there with me and they were treated congenially and offered snacks and beverages while I was finalizing the deal. The thing that sets apart Amy and her team was not just the over the top service, but the care they take after making the purchase. I still get periodic e-mails and calls, and when I come in they remember who I am! This was definitely a great experience and I have recommended many of my friends and family to check out Open Road Mini.

Stay away from this dealership! They offered me an awful trade in price for my used Mini and I regret going into this dealership. I was flat out lied to and deceived by the sales team here. Great people at this MINI dealership: friendly, down-to-earth, and helpful. I bought my car here and I also took it back for repairs. It is expensive, but I expected this. I like this dealership better than Princeton also, because Princeton MINI is so concerned about their ratings and feedback, but once you fill out the survey they want nothing to do with you. It is a very artificial interaction. They are only nice if they know that you are giving them feedback, otherwise, they tend to be very unhelpful and do not return your calls. Morristown MINI employees seem a lot more sincere.

It felt like the red carpet had been rolled out when I arrived for service to my air conditioning in my 2006 Mini. Even making the appointment over the phone was a pleasurable experience. The service manager, Fred, was knowledgable, accomodating, patient, organized and efficient. Also impressive was the fact that my "low tire pressure" light was on, and I forgot to mention it. When the car was finished, Fred informed me that they noticed it and addressed the tire pressure and reset the light! Now that is initiative, observation, responsibility, caring, going above and beyond.....whatever you want to call it. You just do not get that kind of service much any more these days. Also had an opportunity to talk to the "boss", Ken, to tell him how pleased we were with our visit and HE could not have been nicer! Vinnie, the gentleman that filled out our paperwork and got the show rolling was efficient and respectful and kept things on schedule. His estimation of length of our service was right on!From the greeter at the door to the gentleman that kept the coffee going...this is an outstanding organization in every way. It made the 150 mile trip (one way) worth it. We will be taking our Mini back there whenever needed or maybe traded!!

Here is what I like about this place: I feel like there are a lot of places that can service cars, do a decent job on price and send you on your way pretty quick, but what I like about Morristown Mini is that they take care of the little things. The waiting area was clean and comfortable. They had DVD movies playing the whole time, and when the movie ended they quickly put in another one. The service guy, Mike, came out and explained all the parts and services that needed to be done and why and he came over periodically to let me know how things where going along. And, my favorite part, all the work got done for less than estimated. My general philosophy is that if someone takes care of the little things, you can trust them with the big things, and thats what I feel like these guys do well. The way they take care of things up front makes me believe that they are doing things right in the back, Also, you can tell they are really trying to make customer service a priority. Every time I've gone up there for service, I never have a bad thing to say afterwards.

Dealth w/Tony the Internet Mgr. Very Professional, no pressure sales tactics. Saw car on Craigslist, called, he made appt w/me. Car was ready and clean when I arrived. We went for a test drive, he told me more about the BMW series than Motor Trend Magazine, he apparently races MINI and BMW's on weekends. I was so taken by the ride of this preowned BMW that I made an offer during the test drive. Tony went inside and talked to his boss. 10 Minutes later I was signing the papers and 20 minutes later we were driving home! BTW We drove all the way from Philly! It's worth the trip! Ask for Tony - Morristown MINI is GRRREAT!

Had minor problems with car. We had this salesperson persistantly email us to sell a mini. He was 2 hours away but because he was so persistant we checked out dealership. He was fine to deal with purchasing car. Car wound up having to come from another dealer in VA. It was suppose to have stripes added. Well, David calls me when I returned from work, says car is in. We drove 2 hours there. It was dark. They had no lights on in parking lot which I thought was odd for a dealer. Anyway he shows me car. I noticed the stripes were not added and said something to him. He only credited me $100 for stripes. It cost that much alone for stripes from mini not including labor. I was not happy. Get back and cable for hooking ipod to stereo system is not working right. Now I am still constantly getting emails from him trying to sell me a car. I replied I already bought car from him but need to have ipod cable replaced because not working right. The cable was going, kindof like headphones when they go. Well, I return cable to his attention. Weeks go by, nothing. I email him asking what is up with my replacement cable, please send out right away. Nothing. Week later, email him again, nothing. Wait a few days, call him at dealership. Told he's not there, left already. So ask to speak to manager. Get manager's voice mail. Explain problem. No return calls, no cable at all. Place will hound you to sell a car but once car is sold, they drop you and have nothing to to with you. Horrible service.
