I highly recommend this dealership, I had a no hassle buying experience. I called and spoke with a sales rep on Saturday afternoon, and when I arrived after work the paperwork was ready to sign. I was finished in under 45 minutes. Jerry delivered my car on the 4th of July, and took the time to go over everything on the car! Great experience.

Jerry was great at communicating updates (via phone call & text message!) about my car throughout the car-buying process. He went over all the features of the car with me and pointed out many things I wouldn't have noticed myself! He made sure the car was in the cleanest condition possible and gave me a rental car to use as a convenience when it needed touch-ups not available the day I purchased it. Overall, it seemed he tried to make the process as seamless and easy as possible. I appreciate the thoughtfulness and help!

After much internet searching, we stopped into Northtowne Volkswagen to see what they might have in stock. Jerry Hall came out and asked what we were looking for. I told him that I was looking for an older model Volkswagen Convertible Beetle. He told me that he had one around back. He said that he wasn't sure about what color scheme I was looking for, but it was red with a black top---my dream car. Even though the dealership was going to close soon, I took it for a ride. We tested out the heated seats, even though the top was down and played with all the buttons :). We returned the following day and also drove a newer model, but it wasn't my dream car. We signed papers and it was mine! The only sad part was they had only had in shop a couple days and it hadn't been detailed, the paint needed some touch up work and tint replaced on one window AND it was 5:00 pm on a Saturday and Monday was Memorial Day. So I had to wait a little bit, but now the car is truly mine!

As I first entered the Northtowne Volkswagen parking lot I was blown away by the amazing vehicles that went on as far as the eye could see. Then Helen Perry walked right up to me with a warm welcome , the utmost respect for my wants in a new vehicle and the attitude of someone who truly cared about what was going to be best for me. I never once felt like I was at a dealership where someone just wanted to make a sale. After a few hours of test driving and searching I had finally zeroed in on the car I wanted to call mine. We sat in Helen's office and began to wheel and deal. I had a 2010 Potiac G6 to trade towards the new car, but it was in rough shape to say the least. The original offer was 200 for the trade, but Helen wouldn't let that be the final decision on this trade, she then came back with a 1,000 percent increase putting the new value of the old trade at 2K. The excellent customer service didn't stop there, I worked with Lynn Gronniger who went above and beyond all expectations to get me an interest rate along with a payment that I could keep up with without feeling like I had started to drown in payments. Needless to say, these are not only business women, but two amazing people will do everything in their power to ensure that you get the best vehicle with the best customer service at the greatest dealership in the world.

When a Jiffy Lube tech failed to properly re-install skid-plate bolts after an oil change on my Tiguan, the experts at Northtowne Volkswagen found the mistake and replaced the lost and damaged parts. Lesson learned - the Jiffy Lube oil change fee was the same as what Northtowne would have charged if I had gone there first and got it done right - the first time!

I have purchased 6 vehicles from Northtowne and the experience I had on each purchase was great. The dealership has a great inventory and everyone is pleasant and helpful. Helen Perry was my sales associate on a 6 vehicles, she is great! Helen is why I keep coming back to the dealer to purchase vehicles. Their service department is great to, they fix it right the first time. Service Writer Phil, always takes good care of us. I highly recommend Helen and the dealership for both sales and service. I had probably the best experience in the last 10 years buying and trading a car with Mike Maher. To start with, he is super low key, and is not about high pressure at all. From the moment we walked in, I felt like it was going to be a good experience. He let us test drive the used car we were interested in (a 2011 Infiniti EX 35) as much as we wanted and he didn't even feel the need to go with us. When we initially declined to purchase the car, he offered no pressure. After several days, went back and drove it again, and again he was gracious and said drive as much as you need to. Didn't buy then either. A couple of weeks later, called him back and he offered an even better price on the car we were looking at. Then took in our trade to be appraised, and even though it had some damage, he still offered a fair price. Got a good deal financing as well. So, bottom line, we were treated great the entire time and got a really good deal on both the purchase and the trade. The car we bought was everything advertised and more--it was in virtually flawless condition and yet we still got a great deal on it--below Kelley Blue Book. Mike Maher and the dealer would get 5 stars if I stopped here. However, a year later, an issue arose when I was trading the car I had purchased there at Northetowne VW from Mr. Maher (which had nothing to do with anything at Northetowne--the issue was the Missouri St. Louis dealer did not know how to obtain the title on a Kansas car where the title was held electronically), and I needed some help from him. He remembered us and offered his help more than a year later. Really impressive. If we still lived in the KC area, Mike Maher and Northetowne would be our first place to shop. Highly recommend this dealer and Mr. Maher. As already stated, this was by far the best car buying experience I've had in the past 10 years. If more dealers and salespeople were like this place and Mike Maher, the car buying experience would be better for a lot of people. One final positive thing. After we agreed on terms, it didn't take forever to actually do all the paperwork and close. The process was much quicker than at many other places I've bought cars.

Had the best experience ever (if there is such a thing) dealing with Northtowne VW. Didi and Lynn made the experience easy and stress free. Most dealerships are a stressful environment the moment you walk in the door. The salesman constantly use the phrase "let me check with my sales manager" Not here... The sales manager Is part of the deal -and as laid back as the sales people. No high pressure, just assured they have the right car for you. Lynn was easy going - and the most pleasant "if there is such a thing" doing the credit - paperwork - extended warranty. Again, no pressure. You feel like you are dealing with a family. If in need of a car - this is the first place we will go.

My husband and I purchased a 2010 Sonata from Didi Lazarus this January and we were so happy with the speedy process. It took no time at all! Didi had the car running and warmed up for us when we arrived (it was snowing) to test drive. I usually detest dealing with used car salesmen because they are usually pushy, but not Didi! He was so happy to see us and answer any questions we had. He even dropped the car off with my dad to test drive before we drove up from St. Louis! Then, a month later, we discovered the a/c didn't work. After trying to fill the system with Freon and finding out it had a leak, I called Didi. He was so apologetic and promised he'd take care of everything, which he did. My car was fixed within two days and even though he didn't have to, Didi took care of all the fees for the repair. I can't imagine buying a car from anywhere else. Buying from Didi is definitely worth the drive.

Helen did a good job getting us the deal we were looking for. Disappointed in not getting any review of the car itself, how everything works front to back. My phone was paired with Bluetooth and that was the extent. I referred my niece, who bought a car, and her dealer spent over an hour going over the entire works of the car.Lynn was very helpful with financing.

I went just to see some cars. But was very impressed with the huge inventory of used as well as new cars. My Salespersone was Mike Lopez. He listened carefully what I needed in my next car and my budget. My best experience was with paperwork to do for loan and purchase, it is very streamlined and time efficient. Mike explained every detail of the car he sold (and also put up with a battery of questions from my curious 8year old boy). I am very happy with the lease. Mike explained the difference between lease and purchase ans loan department explianed again in more detail. My overall rating is outstanding, I will consider this dealership and Mr. Lopez for my next car too.

I was out riding my motorcycle and decided to stop in and look at the new TDI Jetta. Helen was very helpful and took me through some older models and their newest. I eventually settled on a 2015 and I've been very happy with it. Helen went out of her way to make sure I was taken care of. She wasn't satisfied with how the car looked (we went to a secondary lot to pick it up) and she set up an appointment for me to have it completely detailed. That was very much appreciated. She also set up a driver to help me get the car home since I had rode my motorcycle in that day. I felt that was above and beyond normal service. I didn't feel pressured at all to buy that day and I was shown other options than just a brand new one. I appreciated that. I recommend Helen without reservation, she was absolutely great!

Trey went out of his way, literally, and delivered our new VW Sportwagen to us (we are 200 miles from the dealership). All our negotiations were done online and by phone, but if Trey is an example of Northtowne staff, they must be outstanding. He didn't use any high pressure techniques, he just made himself available with the information I needed to make a decision. He was knowledgeable, courteous and patient. We added window tinting at the last minute.. no problem.. he had it done and made sure it was done properly. Trey went above and beyond when he delivered the car. He then took the time to go over all the features with us. I would highly recommend this dealer to others because of my experience. And...I love the car!

Just purchased a Golf R from Mike Maher at Northtowne Volkswagon in Kansas City all the way from Indianapolis. Their price made the distance doable but it was their service that made the sale. No nonsense approach with a near immediate response to my offer responding with all included fees made the sale. Then working though the transition of taking remote ownership, Mike showed he's done this before by lending a hand everywhere where needed even after the sale. If your local, regional or local to these guys, I would highly recommend them for your VW needs!

This is the second car I have purchased from this dealership- I returned just this past saturday to buy the second car after always remembering how nice my first experience was. I have been a loyal customer of the outstanding service department at Northtowne VW for the past several years, however until now, I hadnt purchased a vehicle from this dealer.My wife was interested in a certified VW Beetle, so we visited Northtowne because they had a low mileage vehicle in stock. Helen Perry greeted us immediately and was wonderful to work with. Not only did she quickly get us a test drive in the vehicle we saw on-line, she also ensured that we were aware of the differences in each model and encouraged us to test drive others for comparison purposes.When we decided to make an offer, Helen handled this quickly and professionally. Unfortunately, Northtowne low-balled our trade offer and we were forced to find another buyer for our vehicle. We quickly found another local dealer who was willing to purchase our vehicle outright for $3,500 more than Northtowne offered as a trade. Based upon our experience, I would advise potential customers to look closely at their trade offers from Northtowne and to consider other competitive purchase offers from other local dealers.We still purchased the VW Beetle from Northtowne and Helen was a very honest broker and customer advocate through the entire process. She also made sure that the administrative process and delivery was efficient and painless.If youre interested in a new or used VW, I can highly recommend Helen Perry and Northtowne for your vehicle purchase. That said, closely review any trade offer if applicable.

I came to look at a VW and left with a Hyundai. The whole Northtowne family is fantastic. Northtowne is more than just VW, it is also Hyundai, Mazda, Suzuki, Lincoln, Mitsubishi, and Fiat/Alfa Romeo. Helen Perry helped me find the right car for me at all of their dealerships. I met Grant White and Russ Fortner who spent time with me talking about my selection and Lynn Gronniger handled my financing quickly and beat any rate I could get anywhere else. From the front door to final delivery, my experience could not have been better. It was quick, painless and the deal blew me away. I literally have not one single complaint. I've bought a number of cars in the last few years, but these folks are the best. They are honest, no-nonsense, helpful but never pushy. Came In To Look At 08' Tahoe With Mike M. We Got There At 2:30 On A Friday, Expressed To Him That We Had Basketball Practice To Be At 5:30. I bought my Volkswagen in 2012 and had a great experience with Helen who got me a good deal on a great car. Yesterday I had an issue with the car, which happened to be two weeks after the factory warranty expired. It seems the issue I had was a broken coil which caused a problem with my electrical system. Luckily I bought the extended warranty which covered me for 7 years or 70K miles, but because of the fact the car had such low miles, and was only two weeks out of the factory warranty, the manager (Grant) took care of the cost of both the tow and the service. I can't express as a customer how much I appreciate that and I will be a loyal customer for years to come. I'll also continue to recommend them to anyone I know that's looking for an honest and dependable car dealership.

My family has been customers of Didi's for as long as I've known and I know that I am in good hands with him. Wonderful experience! A new baby on the way with multiple tasks to complete made shopping for a new Wagon difficult. We found a great price at Northtowne and called immediately. Once we decided to purchase our new TDI Wagon Helen was able to have paperwork ready for me to sign on my way to the airport. Simply put, the only reason I come to buy my and my family's cars at Northtown is because of Richard Justice. My wife and I met Richard when we bought our first vehicle at Northtown 8+ years ago. We have bought (6) cars for myself and my family in those 8 years and have sent numerous friends and family members to Northtown and tell them to specifically ask for Richard. He's knowledgable about the product lines, courteous, friendly, goes the extra mile to earn our business, breaks down all the car salesman negative sterotypes. He provides the best car buying experience each time we show up to buy a car. Quite Frankly, if Richard left to go to another dealership, we'd go with him to check out what that dealership had to offer before we went anywhere else.

I found the right Mazda Miata for me on Cars.com and contacted the dealership, Northtowne Volkswagen, the next day. After several phone calls and emails with Internet Sales Manager, Mike Maher, all of my questions were answered promptly and completely. We arranged for me to fly into Kansa City on a certain day and, like clockwork, Mike picked me up at the airport. After completing the paperwork, I drove the car away and started a 4 day drive home to north Idaho. Just like that. Easy.Through the entire process, there were no glitches, no surprises, no drama. Everything was professional and friendly. Northtowne is a good dealership to deal with. Easy, and competent.

My wife and I bought a Jetta four years ago from Northtowne VW, and more specifically, from Henry Lomax. To be honest with you, Henry is the #1, 2 and 3 reason we bought the car there. He was so nice, and helpful, and friendly, and we felt absolutely no pressure from him to buy. That was so appreciated. I felt that he had our best interests in mind and I never felt that he was trying to add things or push me into something I didn't want, or couldnt afford. Took a risk, buying a 2013 slightly used (4k miles) Ford C-Max from Gene Barnett - over the internet, across the country, sight unseen - and couldn't be happier. Car is better than advertised, price was unbeatable, and what could be easier? Literally a few emails and a trip to fedex... about a week later I received a call from the shippers and picked the car up locally. I'm sure he's a nice guy to talk to, but he makes the process so easy, it wasn't ever necessary.ok... so this is sounding like a fake review, but it's not. And BTW - this particular car was priced about $3K UNDER comparable models at my local "National Online Dealership" but had more options, with 20k fewer miles, and wasn't a retired rental car.Would not hesitate to do business with these guys again.

I purchased a new 2014 VW Beetle convertible from Richard Justice. My communications began on-line and then proceeded to telephone conversations. Richard was extremely helpful with my questions. This was my 5th VW Beetle and since I live 350 miles away, I wanted to be sure this was the vehicle I wanted and that all the bells & whistles were available on this car. He went over each item and explained the new features that VW offered. When I decided to go to Kansas City, he even offered advise with motels close to the dealership! He made the sale effortless as far as I was concerned. Upon arrival at the dealership, my prospective new car was sitting front & center in the parking lot! We went for a test drive & he explained how things worked & pointed out really nice new features. I was sold! I purchased a vehicle with Richard, or as I came to call him Rick, in 2011 and the sale went just fine, he wasnt a hassle to work with, he didnt try to pull me in any certain direction and force me into a vehicle I didnt want and actually he let me take my time and when I finally settled on the Vibe, Richard made sure to let me know all of the benefits of that vehicle. Now, that isnt the reason I chose to review Richard almost 3 years after the sale; I had an issue with my oil filter and long story short my motor blew. Thankfully I did get the 3 year warranty and talked with Richard about getting it repaired at his shop and he remembered me and went to bat to make sure my car was taken care of. I know he didnt have to do that however he kept in contact with me while it was in the shop, gave me updates and really let me know that they were taking care of my vehicle even after Id already purchased it and drove off the lot these years later! I realized that he is more than a car salesmen and he actually cares about his clients. When I do decide to get a new vehicle, I will definitely go with Richard, he is my guy and I would refer my friends and family to him.

Like all dealers, you have to work to get the best price, but it didn't take long to get the target price I had been given by another dealer (invoice). What sets them apart is how human they are. The sales rep and manager didn't want to sell me any car, they wanted to sell me the Right car. They patiently allowed me to spend a lot of time with the car and never hurried me to buy or tried to use guilt tactics to pressure me into buying. If car buying is 90% research, these are the guys you want to work with. They weren't focused on just their sales goal, but mine as a customer as well. I would recommend them.

I purchased my VW from Richard Justice. This is the 4th new car I have bought but the only one where I feel I was not taken advantage of because I am a single female. The price was better than I expected. I have gone back with questions several times and the entire staff has been very helpful explaining a feature on my car. 2 months after I bought my car my niece was looking to buy her first new car. I had her drive an hour and a half to see Richard. She bought her car from him as well. I was very comfortable letting my niece make the choice with Richard giving her the information on the cars she was interested in purchasing. I don't think I will buy another car from anyone else.

Nice to find someone in the same place years down the road. Overall sales aside, Dealers who want to keep good sales staff must take care of their employees and when that happens they have a strong team. Turnover is bad for business when it comes to repeat customers.

THIS PLACE WAS AWFUL. We just bought a car there and will NEVER buy another one from them. Their customer service was TERRIBLE. they LIED to use during the ENTIRE car buying process. They said the car ran excellent, and when asked about certain things during the test drive (i.e jerkiness, rolling, etc.) they said that was normal for the car. come to find out the transmission was BAD and had to be REPLACED. there was hail damage and they said they would fix it and the scratches that came from it. all they did was use some sort of permanent marker and temporarily cover the scratches up. THEY ARE HORRIFIC!!!!! I would go to Molle Volkswagen anyway over this place. NEVER BUY A CAR FROM NORTHTOWNE!

She listened and showed me exactly what I was wanting and even went through the process of getting me pricing on various mileage/lease term combinations. I wasn't sure how long it would take to sell my car so when it happened much quicker than I expected, I sent Helen over all my information and she got everything processed and the car ready for me to pick up that Tuesday evening. My wife and I have been customers of Didi Lazarus for over 10 years. He is the most knowledgeable VW guy that I know. Didi is also the most pleasurable guy to buy a car from. He is very low pressure and really works hard to find the right car for your needs often referring you to a different model sometimes at a lower cost to better suite your needs. How many sales guys would do that? Over the years Didi has become more than my VW sales guy but also a friend. He will not lie to customer and in all the little ways earns your trust. Oh and as to the cars Love'm. This is our 2nd Passat and 2nd Jetta over the years. The first Passat lasted 11 years and would still be driving it if it had not got totaled in a hit and run.

Met Helen at a charity event. I told her I was in the market for a car . She gave me her card, I call her a few days later. I viewed the inventory on line, told her what I was looking at and what price I was willing to pay. She didn't know if they could do. I got a call about an hour later making the deal. Our experience here at Northtowne VW was very positive. Mike Maher made us a really good deal when we were looking to trade in a 2011 VW Tiguan on a 2011 Infiniti EX 35. Price when buying or trading a car is obviously extremely important, but that is not the only reason for this rating. What really impressed us was the "low or no pressure" approach Mike took in handling the situation. We initially test drove the vehicle we ended up purchasing several weeks ago, but didn't initially buy it because we hadn't driven all the potential "contenders" we were considering. Mike accepted that we weren't ready then and didn't try to disrespect us by arguing with us. Instead, after we re-initiated contact after having driven all the other contenders, he then "sweetened the pot" by lowering the price and also making us a very fair offer on our trade. The net result was that we were actually able to buy "more car" than we initially thought we could because he made us a very good deal. Lynn in finance was extremely proficient and competent and handled all the financing details in a very short amount of time and managed to get all the various details correct the first time. In short, based on our experience, we would very much recommend this dealership to others.

My son found "his" car on the internet and both of us met Jim Best at the Northtowne Volkswagen dealership the next day. Jim was completely upfront about the process, pros and cons of the vehicle (it was used), and we felt absolutely no pressure. The test drive was easy to arrange and he was fine with our going out alone for a short drive. The next day we returned and had the best automobile purchase experience I've ever had. He and my son, Michael, negotiated a price that both were happy with and after the documentation was signed and paid for Michael drove off in his "new" car. He commented to me afterwards that the buying experience was a lot easier than he had been expecting and this is directly attributable to Jim Best. We recently purchased a Certified Volkswagen EOS convertible at Northtowne Volkswagen. This was not our first rodeo nor was it our first vehicle purchase. In fact it is the latest in a long line of purchases and leases over about 40 years. This may have been one of the easiest and most transparent processes we have experienced. Our experience was outstanding from the start and was completed efficiently and in an atmosphere that made us feel comfortable and appreciated. After explaining what we were seeking our sales professional,Trey, helped us locate and test drive the vehicle that met our needs. After returning from the test drive we asked for a price including an appraisal for our trade. That result was provided in about 20 minutes. The price offered was fair and within our budget expectations. After agreeing to the purchase it took about 45 minutes to clean and prep the car for delivery. During that time we completed the paperwork with Lynn. This, too, was handled in a professional and efficient manner. The paperwork was explained thoroughly and with great care. There was never a long wait between any of the steps. We are both retired educators and we would give both Trey and Lynn an A+ for their service to us.Our experience buying a vehicle at Northtowne Volkswagen is what at the purchase experience should be. It was courteous, professional, and efficient. And, it was all handled in a transparent and welcoming environment. Best of all we love the car. We anxiously are awaiting some serious convertible weather!

The experience was great, but the difference maker was Trey Hubbard. He told us from the start that there wouldn't be any pressuring techniques and this proved true. More to the point, Trey went above and beyond at every turn, driving the car down to my place of work to get in a final test drive, pushing to save us money on a variety of fees, and keeping the lines of communication open from start to finish. I came up with questions and requests (maybe some demands) and Trey always responded with flexibility and accommodation where possible. Everyone we worked with at Northtowne Volkswagen was proud to tell us that they don't use any of the high pressure sales tactics, so you'll be in good hands regardless of who you work with I'm sure... but if you want a recommendation, ask for Trey. Jim Best introduced himself on the lot without coming off as a pushy car salesman (that was my experience at Thoroughbred Ford). He helped me navigate the large inventory and offered to drive us down to the extended lot to view other vehicles. He was polite and respectful to my mother, and had no problem waiting until my father returned from business travel to start next steps. I returned to Northtowne on Jim's day off. His finance manager assisted us while Jim was away. I received a bad quote from a saleswoman at Molle VW down South. Jim worked with me to get a fair price on the car I wanted, even though it wasn't his dealership who made the bad quote. Additionally, he was able to combine 0% financing with a fair price and an above fair price on my trade. Overall, these people are great to work with. Jim is also ex-military.. it shows in his character. This is the first vehicle I have ever purchased, and as long as the vehicle's performance meets my expectations, I will return to Northtowne VW in the future.

He was a very good listener, because I only test drove the cars that I was interested in purchasing, both new and used. I found my car, we talked about the deal and it was done. I first went to Bud Brown VW and I spent several hours for nothing while the sales person went back and forth with his manager to give me "the best deal". I went there only because it was closer to where I live. I left mad from that dealership and I will never go back again. Then I came to Northtowne and talked to Trey. It was a whole different experience .He was very friendly, efficient and to the point. He gave me the options I have for Passats and within few minutes he gave me a quote for interest rates. It was Sunday so he suggested that we call the banks on Monday to get a better deal. He called me back on Monday. I came back on Monday and picked up my car. He walked me through all the technology in the car like the Bluetooth, and more. I really appreciated his service!!

I do not make decisions easily about new car purchases and was not the easiest person to work with. Trey was informative without being overbearing and worked with me as I worked thru my process of trying to figure out which model I was most interested in. Their selection of turbo CC models was superior to any dealership in the area and he let me drive one home which I put approx. 100 miles on which gave me a very good idea about how the car performed. When I returned my only concern was that I could not compare the Turbo to the V6 models since no dealerships in the area had any of these. Trey found three different cars and arranged to have one shipped from South Dakota which I ended up buying and have been very happy with. During this entire process he kept in touch while keeping his distance as I ruminated thru the various options I had which included keeping the 2011 Jetta that I was driving. Trey spent a lot of time going over options and comparing various models and trim packages and never made me feel like I was taking as much time as I actually was which helped me settle on a decision that has proven to be a very good one as the car has performed flawlessly and is a pleasure to drive. I would also like to acknowledge Grant White who was also very straight forward and honest to deal with.

The customer service is by far the best I have ever recieved from a car dealership. Trey is my salesman, I say "is" because when I need a car I will go back to him. I have purchased two from him so far and each time it has been a pleasure. What has impressed me the most about Trey and Northtowne VW is that the friendliness and customer service does not stop once you have purchased your car. I have been back a couple of times with both questions and issues and each and every time they have taken care of me with genuine concern. The first car I purchased from Trey he drove it to my home address for me to see which was great since my mom was in town visiting, so the last thing I wanted to do was take time to car shop.

Helen made the buying experience unbeatable. Her knowledge of the car and it's features was impressive, but her ability to gain my confidence was equally impressive. Before the test drive she made sure I was comfortably positioned in the car (I'm really small, so that's not always easy) and during the test drive she pointed out handling and safety details. She was never pushy and took time to make sure I received the best price and financing. Before coming to Northtowne, I had visited other dealerships - including another local VW lot. The dealer was great to work with. I researched several vehicles I was interested in and was comparing those vehicles with their respective nada and kbb values. Nearly every dealer was significantly over-priced. These guys actually WEREN'T, and even when I asked if they would be able to get within my price range anyway, they were able to work with me still and negiotiated to a fair price, from my perspective. Added bonus: the vehicle I purchased was a trade-in with over 100K miles and they replaced the water pump and timing belt after trade-in, both the repairs that owners of this vehicle say needs to occur at 100K. Basically, they did everything right and were great to work with. I didn't go through financing there since I paid cash, but I did work with one of their financing people to complete the transaction and he was great as well. They just didn't have that passive-aggressive, defensive culture that most dealers do.

I am very pleased with the way I was treated at Northtowne VW by Trey. Of course he had no way of knowing that I was a serious customer, but he listened to what I had in mind, showed me the Tiguans in stock, and took me for a ride on the freeway to see how It rode. He is very enthusiastic about VW's and very knowledgeable. He was optimistic that the car that I wanted would be available, and when I called asking about availability, he found my car, exactly what I wanted, at another dealer. After the paperwork and getting the car to KC, he delivered it to me-65 miles. And he carefully exxplained and demonstrated the "bells and whistles". I do not yet know what my experience will be with service, but I am hopeful. I was somewhat disappointed in the trade value of my car. We have been in the market for a mini van for a while, until we found one at Northtowne VW. We were excited to go and see Didi again. He has always been helpful, NOT PUSHY" at all, friendly and courteous. This will be the second car we bought from him. They were willing to work on the pricing. It had small crack on the head light lens. We were surprised that the part was ordered the same day and the lens was replaced the next business day and Didi even dropped the van back to my work. I was at the end of my lease with my Toyota Camry and my dad and I went to check out the VW Passat. They are having great deals on leases right now. We met with Didi who I wasn't to sure about at first but once I shared with him what I was looking for in a car...all the bells and whistles....a fully loaded car....he brought out a 2013 CC and I was so excited! It was the perfect car and the he crunched the numbers to get them to work with the budget that I have. The people there were very friendly, knowledgeable and NOT PUSHY. After driving old beaters around forever (high school, undergrad, masters), I finally decided to get something new. Although I had my eye on the Volkswagen Tiguans for a while, I was secretly dreading my visit to the dealership (haggling, pressure to buy, etc... you can imagine the feeling). However, my experience at Northtowne with Trey was the complete opposite of what I was expecting. Trey was extremely professional and down to earth. I never felt pressured and he was very honest with me. He answered all my questions thoroughly and if he didn't know the answer, he tried his hardest to find out (and he even stayed on hold with the DMV for over a half an hour). I was extremely impressed with Trey and the rest of the team at Northtowne. They turned what I thought was going to be a stressful decision into a very easy one. AND I love my Tiguan!!

I initially visited the Northtowne Volkswagen website, just browsing for cars that I might be interested in. I had a few questions, so I clicked on the "chat" box that popped up in the corner. Trey Hubbard was the salesman who I spoke with, and he was helpful from the very beginning. He answered all my questions, and encouraged me to come in to view the car that I was interested in. I went to the dealership a few days later to check out the car (2009 VW Jetta). I didn't make the purchase that day, but I did get a better idea of prices and whatnot. I returned pretty shortly after my first visit, and did end up buying the car!Trey was off work the day of my purchase, but he made sure I was taken care of. I met with Lynn Gronniger, and she was awesome. She took her time and made sure that I understood everything that I was signing, and made it clear that she wanted me to be comfortable with my decision and everything that it entailed. After all the paperwork was signed, Richard Justice took me to the car and answered any last minute questions that I had about it, and then sent me on my way!I would absolutely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a car. The staff was great, and I'm in love with the car!

Hmmm, to work with Didi, let me see how to re-cap this experience. I cant, I just cant you literally have to Experience DiDi first hand to understand the exemplary Customer Service that he provides. DiDi is the best!!! Professional, Knowledgeable, No Games, and A REAL HOOT to work with. Returns calls quicker than I have ever experienced!!! DiDids Friendly/NO HASTLE Follow-up was greatly appreciated!!!!!! I can NOT name one thing that would have made my experience more AMAZING . There are so many obstacles that we are faced with day-to-day (work and personal); the last thing ANYONE wants to encounter is a JERK Car Salesman!!!! Most people dont just buy cars (atleast I dont/cant) to buy cars situations unfortunately land us on CarMax, Craigslist (sleepless nights what to do?!?!) DiDi is far from a JERK and gets the job done. He is respectful and goes above and beyond to get folks good/honest deals, and take care of them. He has a passion for what he does, and it shows!!!!!!!! Just to think, I stumbled upon Northtowne Volkswagen via GOOGLE?!?!? -go figure.. I Love this dealership! We bought a car for our son a year ago from Jim Best.They took their time to talk to us about the car but were not over aggresive. the people we all so nice! My son still has the car and loves it! So this year we needed a new car for us and we rembered Jim and we saw a van that we really wanted! Helen is the best salesperson ever! She was very patient with me as I drove several models I was interested in. She answered all of my questions and helped me find what I was looking for. Once I settled on a model, Helen and Grant worked with me to get me the deal on the trade and the new car that I was looking for. The whole process was very quick and painless. I was in and out of the finance office with Lynn before I even knew it. I had some after-marker items put on the car so Helen called me within a couple of days to set up an appointment to pick up my new car. I was in and out of the dealership within minutes as I swapped out my vehicles. My new car was prepped perfectly and Helen switched out my plates and I was out the door. Helen is very knowledgeable and patient and worked with Grant to get me a great deal. Grant was more than fair and seemed genuinely concerned that I got what I considered a fair deal on the new car and my trade. Lynn was very professional and sweet and made financing a breeze without any fuss. I've bought many cars in my life, but these three at this dealership made for a car buying experience that far exceeded my expectations and experience. I wanted to trade in my Lexus on a diesel Jetta. I called around to several VW dealers until I found someone that had exactly what I wanted. I ended up talking to Trey. He is, by far, the best car salesman I have ever seen (and I've dealt w/ several). He found several options for me within the parameters I specified. He then offered me a great price on the cars, better prices than I had fund anywhere else.. My only complaint throughout the process was that he couldn't get me KBB trade-in value for my car, even though it was in perfect condition. He explained that his research showed that cars like mine weren't selling for as much as the book price. He even challenged me to find a better offer from another dealer. Well, I did just that and found that no one would offer me more for my car. (One offered me less, the other the same amount that Trey offered.) So I decided to go back and work with Trey at Northtowne VW. That guy showed me four different vehicles and I test drove two of them. Not to mention, it was around 8pm and the temp outside was in the 20's. He then worked the numbers forwards and backwards for financing and leasing options. He even stayed late after the dealership closed to make sure I got all my belongings out of my car and was comfortable before I left to make a 2.5 hour drive back home. In summary, this guy seems very genuine and portrays the definition of excellent customer service. I trade cars pretty often. If I still live in the area at the time of my next trade, I'm going to him again for my next car.

I contacted Northtowne VW via the web, and was quickly contacted by Trey Hubbard in new car sales. We exchanged several telephone calls, and he was always gracious, informative, prompt in returning communications, and eager to help me meet my objectives. I live more than an hour from any VW dealership, including this one, so it was important to me that I have a fruitful trip. I didn't want to have to play two or more dealers off each other. I need not have been concerned--Trey knew I was a buyer, knew what I wanted to do, and made it happen. Quickly. And within my well-researched deal parameters.The particular car I wanted is a rarer vehicle. Trey worked to source the car from a dealer 350 miles away. I agreed that I would be okay with it if they had the car driven to Northtowne, but Trey and company surprised me by having it truck-transported anyway--a value add after they had already closed the deal--sweet!I made my second trip to take delivery of my pristine new VW, and it had been made so very perfect, it looked like a brochure photo-shoot. I had driven some way through foul weather, and was in a little bit of a hurry. Upon my approval of the car, Trey whisked me into the finance office, where Lynn Gronniger was ready with the documents. I was done with finance in ten minutes, and out of the dealership in half an hour, which was exactly what I wanted.I cannot say enough good things about the dealership or my salesman or any other part of the experience. The only surprises were good ones. If their service department lives up to the front of the house (and I have every belief it will), this is the beginning of a beautiful relationship. I've bought BMW's, VW's, Hondas, you name it, and this was the most hassle-free, efficient use of my car-shopping time I have experienced.

It was a used car that had just arrived on the lot, and he understood my financial constraints well, offering to sell me the car "as is" rather than wait for it to be detailed or repaired. Also, when I moved, there was a question about the title, so I called Trey from out of state and he returned my call answering all of the questions I had.

I have been wanting to buy a Volkswagen for the longest time. The 0% financing is what initially brought me to the Northtowne dealership. When I arrived I was met by Trey Hubbard. He answered all of my questions and offered me a test drive in one of the many cars on the lot. The entire time I never felt pressure to do anything but look at all the cars at my liesure. My certified car did not work correctly from day one and i had it in the shop 2 times and it still does not work correctly. Both times i was told they could not recreate the issue and therefore could not fixt it. After all of the hassle there i was tired of taking it there and also i had stop working in the area, so i chose to take it to a dealership closer to where i work now. they could recreate the issue but since it deals with molding the warranty does not cover the issue and Northtowne is refusing to pay for it even though it didnt work from the day i drove the car off of their lot. I was mislead when i bought the extended warranty as to what it would and would not cover. After a year of hassle and false statements from Northtowne VW you can be i will never buy another car there and will warn everyone i know not to as well.

I typically use Northtowne VW for all routine maintenance on my Audi and VW vehicles and my experience with the service department has been outstanding! So of course, when I started looking for a vehicle for my daughter, it only made sense for me to start at Northtowne.I was disappointed with the overall sales experience and Trey Hubbard. When I first visited the dealership, I told Trey what I was looking for and although he didnt have a vehicle that matched those requirements, I asked him to keep me in mind and to contact me should he get one in inventory. Of course, I never did hear from Trey although Northtowne did acquire multiple vehicles that met my requirement. My wife and I did return to Northtowne to look at several vehicles and although Trey was attentive, his sales style was a flashback to a previous generation of car salesman. For example, Trey advised us as we left the lot for a test drive: "I just want to let you know that if you don't buy this vehicle, we have a full priced offer from another interested buyer". When we expressed interest in the vehicle, Trey advised "you have stumbled upon one heck of a great deal, so we can only take $200 off the asking price He also stated that he was unwilling to present a lower offer to his sales manager. His style was such a turn-off, that we left the dealership and immediately purchased a 2009 Nissan Versa SL from Lees Summit Nissan. Off course, there was no full priced offer waiting in the wings for the vehicle we test drove at Northtowne and it still sits on their lot a week later. It was also obvious to my wife and I that Trey is not interested in fostering long term relationships; its all about the quick kill and moving on to the next potential customer.We also discovered that Trey frequently lists cars on Craigslist under the for sale by owner category in lieu of the for sale by dealer category, which is misleadingI will continue to use the outstanding Northtowne service department, however I will likely go elsewhere for my vehicle purchases.

I was lied to about the gas mileage of the car I bought. I was looking into two different cars and I was told that between the two the car that I bought was the better of the two in mpg. He lied and was wrong.......I would never in my life reccomend anyone to buy a car there or work with DIDI........what a fake and a fony. For a 2.4L engine and a 4 cyl. car i get horrible gas mileage and was hook lined and sinkered into this car. What a terrible purchase and what a terrible dealership.

We had a great experience trading in our lightly used 2010 GTI. We received a letter from Northtown VW early in the week stating that they could make us a great deal on a new vehicle if we wanted to trade in our GTI. I called and set up an appointment with Trey Hubbard after he confirmed that two Golf R's were available. We arrived at the dealership on a Saturday afternoon and left about 3 hours later with our new R. The deal was better than I expected. Trey and the Team definitely came through with "a great deal" and, most importantly, cut right to the chase and did not in anyway waste our time. This definitely was the best experience we have ever had at a dealership. Trey and the rest of the staff that we dealt with were extremely friendly, efficient, and courteous. Oh, and we managed to leave our garage door opener in the GTI, but a quick call to Trey and he had it in the mail the next business day. We are extremely satisfied with the entire experience and highly recommend Northtown based on this experience and the excellent service visits with the GTI since we moved to Missouri two years ago.

We worked mainly with Trey Hubbard. He was extremely friendly and if he did not know the answer to a question he made sure to find out the answer and give it to us very promptly. He even went out of his way to answer his cell phone on one of his days off to help get the paperwork straigten out on the vehicle. From the second I hopped out of my old car, Trey was ready with a friendly smile and a fun personality. He showed me what I wanted to see and made NO assumption that he needed to give me a lengthy sales pitch. He answered my questions truthfully and respectfully. I test drove two vehicals and when we returned, Trey already had the deal cleared and ready to close (he knew which one Id fall in love with!). I was thrilled with the trade-in allowance and we started the paperwork. After about two hours (total!), I drove my new Eos home!! Lynn jumped through hoops to help me out with some of the paperwork, and even though we didnt end up needing the special favor it was greatly appreciated that she was willing to work that hard for our convenience. Helen worked hard for me in getting the deal done quickly and fairly. She and I handled almost everything over the phone after I settled on the make and model I wanted. She is very friendly but no-nonsense, which worked great for me. Be sure to go in and ask for Helen if you don't like playing car-buying games. Lynn in finance moved me through in no time flat with no hassle at all. I can't say enough nice things about these folks. They were friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, not pushy and made my buying process a breeze. What more could you ask for really?!

I had a wonderful experience at Northtowne VW. Trey made buying a car very easy and never made me feel like I was getting pushed around. After looking at his recommended cars it was hard for me to make a decision. I went back and forth a few times on which car I wanted and Trey never got annoyed when I changed my mind. I walked in having my heart set on a Jetta, but after a quick test drive I realized it was a little small. He suggested to jump up to a Passet. And it was a wonderful recommandation. I loved the fact that I never had to go back and forth with numbers. After talking to his finance manager he came back with the numbers that would work and never gave me the run around (like a previous dealer). Didi was phenomenal. I called the dealership looking to buy a used car. Unfortunately, Russ wasn't going to give me the $96,750 I thought my 2001 Jeep Cherokee was worth. It was immaculate. Options included power windows and locks, hail damage, stunning black paint, and 134,000 miles. My goal was to put $5,000 down and use the trade-in value to literally swap the Jeep and cash for an economical used car. Didi did everything he could to try and get the numbers to work but Russ was unimpressed with my Jeep. Anyway, after meeting with Russ and Didi a couple of times, Russ mentioned the Passat lease option. It was a great idea considering the trade-in and cash nearly pay off the lease for the next three years. Even better, the cash is still in my bank account earning a paltry 2% annually. My wife and I left and thought about it that evening. The next day I called Didi to see if he was available to make the deal as I was not going to go through anyone else. We did and now I am driving a 2012 Passat. Grant explained the lease options with us, Didi found the car and made the experience enjoyable, and Russ was grumpy old Russ.No, I'm joking about Russ. They were all fantastic to work with and certainly made the experience enjoyable and entertaining.Thanks Northtowne.

We visited the dealership on friday afternoon. We were only looking. We had been to 4 other dealerships prior. When we arrived at VW Northtowne, we were greeted by Trey Hubbard. He was very friendly and asked what we were looking for if anything in particular. I told him we were just looking for a good used car for our daughter. We were looking for something inexpensive to replace her older car. Also something cute (17 year old girl, has to be cute car !! ) Trey showed us a couple cars in our price range that he thought our daughter would love. We ended up purchasing the 2003 Dodge Neon that he had just acquired at the dealership as a trade in. He knew it would be perfect for our daughter, and he was right. She fell in love with it right away. Trey was very helpful throughout the buying process. He had the car detailed for us and kept contact to make sure everything was going ok. We will definitely consider Northtowne VW again the next time we are in the market, I also will recommend this dealership to my friends. My oldest daughter had recently purchased a vehicle from your Hyundai side, and she also was very satisfied with the service. After visiting five different dealerships in one day, I ended up at Northtowne at 5:30 on a Saturday evening. Trey helped me find a 2007 VW Jetta Wolfsburg that captured my heart. This was my first time buying a car, so he was very helpful and understanding throughout the process. He stayed late to close the deal and I was able to drive it home that night. He even gave me a free Volkswagen t-shirt as a token. He also referred me to a window-tinting company down the street that gave me a discount for buying from Northtowne. Didi was a joy to work. Not too overbearing and not the stereo typical "used car salesman". In fact we bought two automobiles from Didi. A new 2012 TDI Touareg for my wife and a 2001 TDI Golf for my son. I was amazed at his communication skills. Didi was constantly checking to update me on the maintenance being done on the Golf and the status of the Touareg we ordered. The man is constantly on the phone from 0800-2100. He gave me his personal mobile number as well to contact him about anything and everything anytime. A true professional. We visited to check out the 2012 Volkswagon Jetta because we were looking for a car that got better gas mileage than our current one since my husband recently accepted a new job in which he will have to drive further to work. We only had intentions of looking at the cars. But, after visiting Northtowne VW we were totally impressed with the car and the dealership. We are now the proud owners of our first VW!Our previous car was purchased at another dealership in Kansas City and they wouldn't even talk to you until you completed a loan application and it just felt like a big, high pressure dealership. In over five decades of buying automobiles: 1. 1968 bought a 1966 Mustang, 2. 1972 Bought Pinto New, 3. 1976. 1976 bought a 1976 Ford Granada. The first three purchases were from my neighbor across the street in Wisconsin. 1980 bought a Chev. Station wagon used in Chicago, 1983 received a company provided 1983 Mercury Cougar, 1985 bought a new Mazda 626 to replace the leased car, 1992 bought a used Mazda Protoge', 1993 bought a new Honda del Sol to replace the 1985 Chev. Caprice Classic station wagon, 2010 bought a LEMON 2003 Mini from a Merriam Hundai used car dealer. 2011 bought a 2012 Mini Cooper to replace the LEMON 2003 Mini from Barron Mini. Of all these transactions, the best buying experiences were from my neighbor across the street, vehicles 1 - 3, the Barron BMW/Mini and the Northtowne Richard Justice experience.Northtowne was NOT pushey, they were fully professional; offered a fairly Fair deal. Not a bottom dollar deal, generally a Fair deal. We could have been more aggressive on the final price; were still satisfied. Clearly the profitability of the used car market greatly exceeds that of the New car market with the information available, usually free on the Internet. Would certainly choose to look at Northtowne and work with Richard Justice again in the future. The next car will not be until the lease expiration on the 2012 Barron Mini Cooper, December 2015. Will in all likelyhood buy that auto out-of-the lease term.

This is the second car Ive bought with Northtowne Volkwagen. I believe it's the 7th VW Ive owned. Needless to say Ive caught a bit of the Fahrfegnugen over the years. It's not as if there's a shortage of dealerships from which to choose in KC. I chose Northtowne because I felt comfortable there. I loathe those high-pressure-sales car boot-camps with the lounge lizards lurking about that we've all been to. We didn't experience that with John. I came into Northrowne expecting to find people that were "too busy" to fit my needs and I expected to be put on someone's to do list. Trey stepped in and really surprised me. I was unable to get the vehicle I came in for originally but Trey wanted to make sure my experience was not only productive but also enjoyable. After seeing a few more vehicles I was able to pick a great used Jetta and Trey helped make the process go smoothly. I don't think I ever heard the word "no" come out of his mouth. The dealer was not very pushy at all. My dad and I did a couple test drives and the dealer simple just let my dad and I take cars out on our own. This was great it allowed us to really talk over the car without having the dealer there trying to sell you on it, the car itself did the selling. The deal was very simple I just told him where I wanted to be for me to want to purchase the car, he didn't even try to get me up he simple said he would go talk it over with the his boss. He came back 5 minutes later and said they could make that deal happen. The rest was just filling out the normal paper work and then taking the car home. For this being my first time buying a car on my own it couldn't have been a better experience, I felt even though I was younger and a first time car buyer they treated me with the same seriousness as they would have everyone else. On top of that I feel they gave me a great deal on my car, so defiantly no buyers remorse on this end.

I had previously rated this dealership with terrible comments, as my experience during the sale but after signing the papers was just horrible. I was asked to re-rate the dealer after they corrected issues. After online complaining the dealership did work to make a better experience for me. After much back and forth, I am happy to say that they completed promises. My experience with Billy was quite positive and the shining light of the dealership. While he is no longer in sales, he certainly does a fantastic job of cleaning up problems from gone-wrong sales experiences. For this, I do hope that management recognizes his devotion to his work. All this said, I am quite happy with my new Sonata and it promises to hold up as a great car.

This guy Didi...he rocks! Six months after puchasing my second car from him, wham bam, my new car is totaled. I really liked my black sonata limited. The problem is..who can get me back into an exact replacement...within days? One call to Didi is all it took. Couple of days later, baby, Im back in black! And to top that, Didi get me out of my rental car and got me a free loaner till my new car came in...saved me an additional week of car rental costs. I'll see Did for my next car..and the one after that one. Good sales job by an exceptional salesguy!

This is the second Volkswagon I have bought from Didi. He is an excellent personto work with. He's fun and finds out what you need. There is no pressure and you can trust him to find what you want and need without trying to talk you into more. Asfar as the dealorship, I have never had to spend less time dealing with thepaper work, it was amazing.

This is the best dealership I have ever had the privledge to deal with. The General Manager,Russ Fortner, is the most honest and helpful person I have dealt with. It is not beneath him to get his hands dirty and pitch in when needed in any way. He is a great Manager and I also consider him a friend. This statement is supported by his excellent staff of sales associates who are all assets of the highest order. I just recently bought a used car from Northtowne VW and they treated me as if I had bought the top of the line new car. I have been buying new and used cars for over 10 years. This is a no pressure dealership who will treat you more like a friend than just a customer. My wife and I recently purchased a new Jetta at Northtowne from John Howe. We believe he did an awesome job helping us out. We started looking at the new VWs prior to our Christmas vacation, and located the car we wanted before we left town. I was able to work with John Howe and Grant White to get the car transferred to Northtowne all while being out of town and on vacation. They were great at keeping me informed on the status and even sent me pictures of the car once it arrived in K.C. John even took the time to contact me on his day off, to make sure we were able to get the car we wanted. Once we were back all that was left was the paperwork and Lynn Gronniger made that quick and painless as well. The gang at Northtowne had everything ready when we arrived, so at that point we just signed and drove it away. Great job!

We had purchased our Jetta new in 2003 from Northtowne VW and returned to possibly purchase or lease a new Passat. Due to our work schedules, it was later in the evening when we dropped in but our salesperson, Mike Lopez, was relaxed and courteous...taking time to discuss vehicles in detail and never hinting that they were getting ready to close, even when going for a test drive. Sounds pretty basic, I know, but we've been to dealerships that have treated us as an inconvenience if we came in later in the evening. We found the Passat to be a quality product and Mike helped us find the one that fit our list of requirements. This is the second car I have purchased from Helen. My first was a used Elantra in 2006. This time it was a new 2012 Elantra as a replacement for the 2006 Elantra which was stolen. I had a very tight timeframe in which to purchase this car which made me a little uneasy, but Helen presented all the information I needed regarding new and used cars. She made the whole process extremely easy and was very straightforward with all information. I walked out with a Silver Elantra delivered from St Louis to Kansas City the next evening. My 5 year old loves to come up for oil changes and has since she was 1 year. Helen brought in some toys for her to play with while she was waiting and she's been a happy camper since. I think the dealer didn't disclose some problems with the car. When we purchased our used TDI Jetta from Northtowne, the salesman was going through the limited warranty information and gave us a list of items covered under the warranty and items not covered. While explaining, he circled fuel pump in the NOT covered category. This was the only item he circled on the sheet of paper. The next day after the purchase of the car, the fuel pump was working intermittently. After troubleshooting, I determined it was a faulty fuel pump and not wiring issues. I took the car elsewhere for the service work. Three days after the purchase, both EGR pipes blew out causing a boost leak. Digging into this problem I found the entire EGR cooler wasn't secured to the engine as it should be (someone probably forgot to reattach it after a repair made in the past sometime). The loose EGR cooler caused fatigue on the flex joints on the EGR pipes causing them to fail. It was super obvious that the EGR cooler was loose. The technicians should have found this issue when performing their 100 point check or whatever they do on a used car. After these bugs were addressed we had no other problems with the car.

The sales staff and management are some of the best in the business. They are polite and not pushy at all. My wife hates the business side of buying a car and they were able to make her feel welcome and did not pressure her into anything. Matt Kornblum was very accomidating and went way beyond my expectation even after I left with the car. The managers (at the time were Grant White, Russ Fortner, and Ken Keith) also work with you and will do whatever they can to get you in a car at the right price. The finance office which is normally a stressful situation was a pleasant experience with what I would consider the best finance guy in the business (Steve Murdoc). There is not a single complaint I have with the delearship and I will continue to have my vehicles serviced there as they know me, they know my car, they know my wife, and are always professional. I highly recomend this dealership to anyone looking for a car and some new friends as you do it.

My wife and I met Mike Lopez for the first time 20 months ago while we were looking for a car, a convertible to be exact. At first I was hesitant about looking at a VW as I remember the Bug I had as a younger man 30 years ago, a heater that wasn't, every time I would stop at a stoplight the lights would dim, etc. Mike, handled the objections with a calmness and professionalism that truly showed his product knowledge and a personal, friendly connection to his customers, without ever being condescending or over-bearing. Since our first purchase, an EOS, 20 months ago, I have sent two of my kids down to meet with Mike and each of them have aslo purchased a vehicle from him. We went to this dealer specifically because it had a unique inventory that appealed to us. We were looking for a Jetta Sportwagen with a manual transmission, and this dealer was the only one in Kansas City that had one in stock. We were very happy with Northtowne VW and with Trey Hubbard, our sales associate. The only process that could be improved was the financing department. We waited for about an hour to get financing, which was a bit tiring. Since our purchase, we brought in our Jetta for servicing and had a fantastic experience. The department knew about a specific recall and had all the necessary equipment to fix it when I arrived. We have had this car for about 4 months now and are very pleased.

Over the last decade my parents and I have purchased a total of 7 new and 1 used car from Northtowne VW and each time we have been extremely satisfied with the quality of service and attention as well as the effort put forth by the staff to insure we are completely happy with our purchase and finance experience. We have been particularly happy working with our salesman Richard Justice. The Northtowne auto group includes Hyundai, Mazda, Lincoln, Suzuki, Mitsubishi and others and each time we have purchased from any of the Northtowne dealers we have insisted on Richard Justice being our salesman. Just last month I purchased a used van from the Mitsubishi dealer and Richard handled the transaction seamlessly. The month before that I referred my best friends to Richard to buy a VW Jetta. Richard had the exact car they wanted waiting for them when they arrived and just a short time later they were out of the dealer and on the road with their new Jetta. Tomorrow my mother is going to be picking up her 2012 Passat in Opera Red. (an EXTREMELY rare color) Richard had no problem getting the car mom wanted and I am confident that this transaction will be as seamless as the past purchases have been. We are sold on Richard and Northtowne!

I went to the dealership with an idea as to what I wanted after researching online. Not only was Jim informed about the car I was most interested in, but he also was very knowledgeable about another model I was potentially looking at. He was never too forward as far as trying to sell me on something, but was there to answer questions. It was by far the best car buying experience I've had. He made sure the transaction happen quickly (because of my time table) and was great about the follow-up and ensuring I got my second key in the mail (I now live in Texas) three months after the car was bought. That to me shows that it's not just about making the sale for Jim, but that he's willing to do whatever it takes to make the customer happy. I would gladly go back to Northtowne and would be fortunate to work with Jim on any future car needs of mine.
