I would not recommend this car lot to my worst enemy! Went in to buy a jeep. Negotiated a price they accepted then gave me the run around for hours my family finally left I stayed waiting then they said there was a 300 dollar fee they wouldn't pay I said I would pay it then they wouldn't let me. They said go to the bank it was already approved and if I went to the branch there wouldn't be a fee. Went to the bank and the bank said they had no idea what I was talking about they didn't have an approval or even an application for the jeep wasted another 2 hours then went back to the lot and they said sorry we just sold the jeep! Worst car buying experience ever!

We bought a Subaru from them a couple years back and after having Midas look at it we had a list of things that they needed to repair. After the repairs were done(supposedly) we took it back to Midas to have it looked over and numerous things were not done. Repairs were done again. They dropped the car off to us and the same night it would not start. Repairs were done again and my husband and one of the unprofessional employees took it for a drive and they ended up pushing it back to the dealership because it broke down again.2 months later the head gasket went out and we had that repaired by someone that Parkway Auto knew because we would get a discount. Screwed again and now screwed again because we now need another head gasket less than 2000 miles later. Shadey dealership that should not be in business. I wish I had a rewind button. Wishing karma to bite them in the... RUN away from this dealership!

My son bought a car from this dealership last May. He had just left the loft and the car started running crappy. I tried to have my son return it because the salesmen seemed a little shady but he wanted the car so we worked with them. They had their "mechanic" fix it and it ran for a little while then started running bad again. Turns out they just did enough to for us to get it home. Then they never sent in the taxes that my son paid and it took having to have our bank threaten them for them to pay it so he could get his license plates. He has had nothing but problems with it ever since. We even believe they lied about using the carfax to check on the vehicle. Whatever you do, do not buy anything from these guys.

DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR HERE!!!I recently purchased a vehicle here, and my experience has been horrible. When I was getting financed, I overheard a salesman screwing a poor low income young lady. He was pointing out all her credit flaws, and said that she was lucky he was even dealing with her. Fortunately, I have good credit and was able to get a good rate, so this wasn't an issue for me. But the salesman's treatment of this girl should have been the first red flag. They sold me a dangerous vehicle as the entire frame was deteriorated from salt/humidity in Minnesota. When I pointed this out, they were extremely disrespectful and questioned our mechanic. Initially, they offered to trade the car in for another vehicle. I accepted, but they kept tacking on charges they had said would be waived due to my poor experience. They even demanded a credit card deposit of $300!When we took the second vehicle to our mechanic (who is well respected and AAA certified) he said this place wasn't even doing basic fluid changes. Said he had never seen a used car dealership that didn't at least change the fluids. There was dirty oil, crappy wiper blades, the brakes were shot and the gear got stuck in neutral. The brakes were "a couple months away" from metal on metal. We parted ways with the dealer, and I will be replacing the frame on the vehicle. This place is a chop shop, and will sweet talk and find a way to screw you. I plan on making the vehicle safe to drive (which they weren't interested in) and then selling it ASAP. STAY AWAY FROM PARKWAY AUTO.Additionally, they have no social/personal/basic customer service skills. They are horrible, and the place is dirty, old, grimey -- I'm just blessed I don't have to be there every day like those miserable souls. Please take this advice, and go to a trusted dealership. And always always, ask that your mechanic check it out. If they balk, walk away.

I went to look at a truck they had on their website that I was interested in. I submitted my application online for their "15 minute" approval, 90 minutes later I called them and they claimed they "just got it" and would call me back in five minutes. I happened to be driving by later that day and stopped in, over an hour after their "5 minutes" and they still had not gotten around to it. Finally they approved the application and showed me the truck and the truck showed brand new damage so I passed on it. They then tried to get me into another truck that had an obvious engine problem and had not been detailed - these were all signs that this dealership was not very detail oriented and gave me pause. They offered me a 19% interest rate! My credit is poor, but I felt that was a bad rate. Accepting my fate as a credit risk I decided I would give it some thought and decide if I really wanted the truck this badly. The instant they realized that I might not sign the papers right that moment I got a seriously cold shoulder and the salesman literally turned his back and walked away from me. RUDE!Fortunately I came here and looked them up to find they have very bad reviews and that sealed the deal, no way I would buy from them after reading these reviews. After looking at other trucks I found out that when a good dealership doesn't like a vehicle for it's reliability or looks they send those trades to auction and it's dealers like Parkway that buy THOSE cars. Word to the wise: the high risk "buy here pay here" lots are all quite shady and have very questionable business ethics (I have read stories on here where they will repo your car for a payment that is just a few days late) and they buy the cars that other dealers don't want and sell them for over blue book just to prey on those of use with weak credit scores. Stay away.

I bought a car 6 months ago and the timing, water pump and starter have gone out. They said they would fix a noise it made and then said they couldn't because it wasn't what they tought. I overpaid for the car and didn't found out until I had bought it that it was a bad deal. The customer service was ok at first but the quality of the cars are horrible.

This dealership is very shady. They overcharged me on a vehicle by $3,000 and added to that a 20% interest rate. They wanted nearly $2,100 down (the car was worth $4,000). When I went in to speak with one of the managers about finances, he closed the door and began to yell at me. "A deal is a deal" "Obviously you can't comprehend this type of thing!" He even told me they would sue me (I had not completed paying the down payment but was still within their time period to do so). Long story short the car needed a new transmission, kept overheating, and Mike wanted me to "put more miles on it" so they could warranty out the transmission for a rebuilt. Needless to say I took the car back...lost the portion of the down payment I did pay, but it was way worth it. I would never recommend this place. Do your research, get the blue book value! Even if you have poor credit that does not mean you're without room to negotiate...all they want is your money. Please stay away from Parkway Auto on Colfax or you will regret it!

We just had the most horrible humiliating experience at this dealership. Our salesman was such an ahole. We told them upfront that our credit was bad and they told us they work with over 80 leanders and they advertise that they work with bad credit. Well we decided we wanted the car and started the deal. We waited outside and he came out and I asked a question about the car. He told me in a rude manner that it didn't matter anyways because it wasn't going to work out. We asked why and he rudely said because we haven't paid a bunch of people. Well isn't that bad credit? I have never been so humiliated before. Oh and when they looked at our trade it was like they sent out a freakin goon squad out to look at your car. Stay away from this place!!!!

Stay far from this dealership! I was sold a complete piece of junk after the written inspection report said there were no issues with the vehicle. I even asked about certain components since I wasn't allowed to have the vehicle inspected by my own person since their auto shop across the street does their inspections...hmm. (This should of been a red flag but I was in need of a means of transport ASAP) In a matter of two months I have replaced 3 of the 4 tires, the water pump, hoses, radiator, oil pump and there are a list of other repairs that still need to be completed. The first bit of repairs were done by the dealership at my expense, and I was told I was getting a "deal" since I bought the car from them and they wanted to "help" me out. I ended up being overcharged and wasn't treated with respect whatsoever. There are many dealerships on Colfax, I highly suggest giving them your business instead.

We had a handshake with the salesman on a vehicle. I wrote out the check and we signed their paperwork, which the saleman accepted. Then, the mgr (after a lengthy wait) told us he would not sell us the vehicle for the negotiated price. They are not trustworthy. Do not use them! I am also contacting the BBB.
