Won't be back... Not till this Service Manager (Jay) is gone! Have been a customer for 8 years, having bought a car here and conducted regular servicing without a glitch. However a new Jay has taken over, and after having my electric steering module replaced and tune up ($3000) I took my car back in for next scheduled oil change only to be told tires were shot with less than 25k miles on 70k tire. I had tires inspected by Costco and another independent shop and both confirmed alignment issue like caused by steering replacement. I went back and met with Service Manager who only offered deflection and insults "if you weren't going around banging into curbs" , "car this many miles isn't worth it" , "they sold you outdated tires" , "I got this fancy new alignment machine that will show it's in alignment and you can take it to Costco for your warranty." After a couple hours he calls and says alignment was out (no duh) and again repeats if you go around banging curbs it will happen. Says "are your tires warn? Yeah, are they warn out? No." He suggests "drive on them for another 10-15k without rotating and just get what you can out of them." I called Ford Customer Service next morning to explore options, and they suggest I escalate with the dealership. I call Jay back and let him know what Customer Service said and he says "escalate what?" I state that the evidence is clear, I had good tires then had steering replaced, now bad tires. He responded "you called corporate? I am the service manager here and what I say goes. I am not buying you new tires." I asked, "you mean I have bought my car here, have been coming here for years, look to continue coming here, but you won't even work with me?" He says "Nope" to which I responded "I guess that means I will take my services elsewhere" to which he stated "that's fine we make enough money"... The arrogance of this guy. So I contacted the General Manager who was at least willing to listen and said he understood why I might be upset, and that he would talk to Jay. He calls me the next day, and says that Jay denied everything (of course he did), and that Jay has been here for a year or so without any other complaints so, it's just a case of what really happened. I told him I understand, and that maybe this is a one off situation but as a customer I am no longer going to put my safety at risk with a Service Manager I cannot trust. Really, he is going to insult me, then lie to his Boss, and then I am supposed keep letting him work on my car? I guess Jay wins this round, he didn't have to buy new tires, gets to insult customers with no repercussions, and apparently they do make enough money that they can lose customers. So trust them if you want, but just be sure that what Jay says goes. I wonder if you all feel the same? *Update: Response to this says that replacing Power Steering module does not effect alignment funny, any search results show it is recommended "If your Ford C-Max’s suspension or steering system components need to be replaced due to wear and tear, we may also recommend a wheel alignment since replacing steering and suspension parts can change existing wheel angles and ride height." Even service department stated they check toe, but could not find the records of it being done. Why say you check the toe if it is not effected?

So I came wiith my mom today and the lady was really nice and Henry as well (i think that's how you spell his name) but thank you for understanding my mom she's really complicated and likes stuff her way and looks for cheap prices. Thank you guys for your time I told her then get look for a lower price I mean the car is really nice I would have bought it if I had money but sadly we might not come tomorrow but all I wanna say is thank you guys so much and sorry if my mom was a little confusing.

Just left the Porterville Ford dealership from returning a vehicle back to them! My parents were there on Monday trading in a vehicle to purchase a new one. They found a vehicle they loved, a 2015 Toyota Sienna van. After working with the dealership after a while they came to an agreement of taking and paying off my parent's trade and settling on an APR and term that met the monthly payment my parents could afford. Of course after going to finance department they always tack on extras here and there ultimately making the payment a little more than what they were wanting, but that goes along with any dealership. However, my parents were told that the dealership was too busy that night to get the final approval from the bank but that it shouldn't be a problem to get it finalized at what they all agreed upon. They took my parents trade, my parents signed a contract and was given the van to take home. My father is Filipino and came here as a teenager and still has trouble understanding things. However, anyone, regardless of how well they understand things or not would assume that after signing a binding contract and being told there shouldn't be any problems, this is what we can get you, so go ahead and take the vehicle, would assume that everything is going to work out right?! WRONG!!! 4 days later they get a call that they got the financing finalized and it's at even better. Guess what that even better was?! A higher APR, a lesser term, and a HIGHER MONTHLY PAYMENT!!! Yea yea, I understand in the long run they might be paying lesser because it's a shorter term but for those of us that live paycheck to paycheck, a higher monthly payment then what was promised doesn't seem like it's a better deal to me! I also understand that by law this whole method of giving customers the vehicle and seller can possibly take vehicle back and cancel sale is not against the law to some dealerships, and for sure this specific dealership, it's A-OKAY! In most cases, these things work out they told me. Well yea but not in all cases right? So it's ok for you to tell customers this is what we can promise you, this should work out no problem, and now all you have to do is pay $75 more or you can give us car back after you've had it for a few days, after you've fallen in love with it, after you've shown all your friends and family your new vehicle, it's ok because it's not against the law. I think that's complete bull! It's not against law but it does leave a bad taste in my mouth! It makes the people who have to return the vehicle feel like xxxx! It's such a tease and should not be practiced! A vehicle shouldn't be given to them until everything is finalized, set in stone! This is the second time something like this has happened to my parents but luckily enough the first time, that dealership was willing to work with my parents and lower the vehicle price enough to accommodate the payment they all agreed upon. Porterville Ford said they couldn't do anything more and literally left us sitting for over an hour to have my mom sign papers to return the vehicle. All in all, I think the whole situation was handled poorly. If you make a promise as a business, you should keep it, and not get your customers hopes up on a maybe. And if what you promise falls through, you should do everything in your power to fix it or maneuver it to work out for the customer. Stay far away from this dealership if you don't want to deal with shady false promises!!

brought in my ford fusion for service , bob in service was very helpful on pointing out a few items that it might need soon since it had 55,000 miles on it. while waiting I went to browse the new cars stan came out and introduced himself after talking I mentioned I might want something bigger. I ended the afternoon by buying a ford escape. everybody was just great to deal with.

My car was breaking down i needed a new one. I went around town to explore my options. I know my credit wasnt all that good either. So i stoped by to see what would happen we tired a 2016 ford but i didnt qualify for it. They brought put another car a Nissan but that just took my hopes down i wasnt happy with it. The guy who was helping us knew i wasnt happy. I had money and they didnt want to let me leave without anything. So they brought out a 2013 ford and i settled for it. I think my choice was a great one. They took care of me they knew i wanted a new car and didnt want me to leave unsatisfied and plus the very next day they went over my paper work and i got an even better interest rate.

I had previously gone in to see a Ford Explorer didn't really had everything I wanted in it and sales rep had us choose one and customize it to what I was looking for but sales rep never followed through with me then a week later I contacted a very nice young man by the name of Sergio varela at the porterville office and he was great found me the vehicle I wanted and gave me a good price that I was comfortable with truly happy that I didn't end up going out of town to buy my next vehicle I am happy with the outcome and would recommend this gentleman anytime

This dealership service is a terrible! Every time I've had my truck serviced something else "all of a sudden" breaks on my truck! If this had only happened once I wouldn't be suspicious, but every time!!!The first time for s routine OC they got paint over spray on my truck because they were spray painting engine parts in their service area; the second time again a routine OC and now there is a broken USB port broken, and then after that my a/c controls begin to have problems; next time routine OC and now the a/c controls a broke again!!! Come On! I'm warning everyone about their " bring you back" garbage repair service department!

The overall process was exceptional. From the online pre-aaproval-to the easy walk in sign in finance and take delivery of my new vehicle was hands down one of the easiest vehicle I ever purchased. All of my questions were asked and I felt as if I was more than a number but family with a tour of the service and parts department and meeting different managers. Porterville Ford went out of there way to make it truly easy, and; what car buying should be, FUN!

This was greatly appreciated as we were on vacation and thousands of miles from our home in Pennsylvania. I have very high recommendations for Modesto. He was pleasant to work with and not too pushy like a lot of salesman. My only complaint is that I wasn't given any information concerning the warranty on my car. I bought it used but it only has 5000 miles so I'm assuming it's still under warranty. I was told I would have to contact Dodge for that. Hopefully nothing goes wrong and I won't need to find out what's covered. So far I love my 2013 Dodge Dart SE!
