JR Bolden and Kelly Butler always go above and beyond for me every time I come to Power Swain. I stopped by July 13 to look at a used Chevy Tahoe, for my father, that was on the lot. They allowed me to ask question and go out and look the vehicle in and out as well as take pictures for my dad. He currently lives in Durham, NC. Kelly spoke with my dad on the phone about numbers and cost and then JR assisted by getting the paperwork started prior to my dad coming down on Saturday. I look forward to a smooth transaction on Saturday. I wouldn't expect anything less than perfect with my experience. All Power Swain employees that I have spoken with or had interaction with have always been polite and very respectful with great customer service skills. I want to thank JR Bolden and Kelly Butler for always going above and beyond their duty descriptions. I came in looking to help my daddy find an older model Tahoe with all the bells and whistles but at a GREAT price. Kelly told me her had one on the lot. Yesterday, 13 July, I went by the dealership to take a look at it and take pictures for my dad (because he is in Durham, NC). We spoke prices and JR started my paperwork. Saturday my dad will come up and hopefully (I know it will) everything will run smoothly and my dad will drive away with a new vehicle. I recommend everyone go to POWER SWAIN Chevrolet and see JR Bolden and Kelly Butler. They are hands down the BEST!

Wayne Carpenter is the best....He knew I was looking for a car. Went to drive a car to rent for vacation..He took me to a red certified Equinox.. and OMG I fell in love with it and after we talk for a few I decided to buy it.... He called me at home to get some info from me . The day I picked up my car. He showed me about the car and helped me the features......Took it on Vacation drove over 7500 miles.Three days from coming home, had to get the oil change. found a dealer near where I was, called Wayne he called the dealer and they took me right in......Now that is super ,super great customer service!!!!!! Thank you.

I had an issues with my car and when calling and speaking to Kyle the Service Manager he had someone come get my car and brought me a rental car to drive until they were able to get mine looked at and fixed. The Sales Department also stepped up to see what they could do to help. These guys are the BEST and I am so greatful to have them to go to when I need them. Looking forward to my next new purchase with Power Swain Chevrolet. I HIGHLY recommend you see the Sales Department and asking for Dee Mott (Tony) if you're looking for your next new Chevy!!!

This is my third purchase from Power Swain. With every visit I have been treated with great respect and blessed with highly knowledgeable, honest and caring sales personal whether I am purchasing or getting my car serviced in the Service Department. We have bought many cars over the years, but this time we were helping our military son buy a truck. The salesman, Matt, was friendly and gave us plenty of time and attention test driving new and used trucks. The Sales Manager, Kelly Butler, helped run numbers on leases and loans, and we ultimately made a great deal on a low mileage 2015 with plenty of warranty, lots of bells and whistles, and a low interest rate. Kelly and Matt were both very fair and helpful, while my son learned a lot about car buying, negotiating, and is thrilled with his new truck!

I drove from Raleigh to Fayetteville to purchase my Cadillac Escalade and I was not disappointed! I worked with Wayne Carpenter and he was pleasant, personable and great with follow up. We had several text conversations about the vehicle and my trade in before I ever entered the dealership. It made the process so much more comfortable b/c I felt like I already knew him & what I was getting. Once I got there the process was smooth rom test drive all the way to finance. Everyone involved from Mike Arp, new & used vehicle manager, Jeff Edmond, the sales Manager & Ed Riley, the business manager were all top notch!! After the sale, Wayne texted me the next day to make sure it drove ok and then followed up a week later to make sure I was still liking it! I was referred by a friend of mine to Phil because I recently wrecked my car and the car was totaled. I had been borrowing a car from a friend and needed to get into another car to get back and forth to work. Once the insurance check was processed from the total loss, I was ready to purchase a car. I had been to some other car lots but my bank advised me that what the car lots was asking for the cars were around $4000 over there value. I did not want to take on that kind of debt for my family so I chose to keep looking. That is how I ended up at Phil's office. As soon as I arrived in Phil's office, he could tell that my children had been in the car for a long ride from Sampson County. He asked them if they were hungry, and then offered them some snacks that he stashed in his drawer. He asked me what I needed and then what I wanted in a car. He never tried to talk me into anything more than what I needed. I really respect that about a car salesman. He was honest and thorough about everything. He showed me a 2015 Equinox which met all of my family's needs. As I mentioned before, we were recently in a car accident, Phil went so far as to follow me out of town because it was after dark when I left the car lot. I live out in the country. He followed me most of the way home and then asked me to text or call him once I did get home just so that he could know that his most recent customer got home safely. This is a car salesman who is family oriented and truly cares about his customers. If you are looking for someone who is going to see you as a person and not a paycheck, you need to visit Phil.

I had a wonderful experience at the dealership! As I drove onto the grounds of the dealership, I was approached by a wonderful salesman named Robert Blocker. He helped me find a car that was affordable for my budget. As I sat in his cube, I saw a person I recognized as he walked by that comes into Walmart all the time. He saw my face and came back because he recognized me too. I am a cashier at Walmart that rings him up all the time. He spoke to me and told me his name was Kyle. He asked me was I interested in buying a car from the dealership and I told him yes. I told him who my salesman was and he said that he would make sure that I picked out the car I wanted and that he would also assist in getting my payments to what I could afford. He did just that!!!! He made sure that the buying process went smooth and I got my payments to what I could afford!!!! He followed through to the very end!!!!! I was so nervous when I sat down inside the dealership because I was by myself picking out a car. But Kyle me feel so much better, the jitters went away. I will make sure that I recommend this dealership to all my coworkers at Walmart and my coworkers at Cumberland County Schools. He will always have a special place in heart!

Power Swain helped me find the perfect truck over a few days of searching, had It delivered and helped me while I added some after maker add ons. Their service before, during and after the sale was above and beyond. I already plan to use them for my next truck in 5 plus years. The sales team knew everything about the trucks I was considering, they provided expert advice and gave me a great deal at the end. It was truly a great car buying experience. I could not be happier with my new Silverado 2500 HD and feel like they gave me the best deal they could. After the sale I had a few add ons, some small ones at the dealer and a few others at local truck accessory shops. Power Swain went out of their way to help me get all the work done after the sale. It was like I was still a full customer and the deal had not closed a week after I bought the truck. They truly wanted me to be totally happy with the truck even after a week of adding additional equipment like bed liner, class three hitch in front, tinted windows , additional work lights and gooseneck ball in bed. I am very happy with the help all thru the process. Great job Mr Powers and sales staff.

My husband and I were looking for an new Impala. Since we had purchased our previous impala through Reed Lalier we started looking there. Boy was that a mistake! Two days later we were driving away in our new Impala from Power Swain. This dealership makes you feel welcome and valued. Our salesman, JR Bolding was a pleasure to work with, top notch!! As he was sending me off in my new car, he noticed a tiny, I mean tiny chip in my windshield. He arranged for me to come back two days later to have the windshield replaced. I am a SFC stationed here at Fort Bragg, Fayetteville NC. I have been in the market for a new vehicle for about two months now. I have literally been to every single dealership here in the Fayetteville area. As a Soldier most dealerships are pretty pushy when it comes to serving you. They know that they are going to get their money. At Power swain Chevrolet, I had an excellent experience with two of the employees working there. Kelly J Butler and Phil were both excellent to work with. They were down to earth and worked to try and get me into a vehicle without being pushy. I would recommend anyone that is looking for a vehicle in the area to go here first to speak with these two fine salesmen. Even though I did not buy from them, I did have to go back two different times before I gave up on them. I will be recommending any new Soldier that I get to these two guys when they are looking for a new car. I feel very comfortable that they are not here to take advantage of the Soldiers in the military community like almost every other dealership in the area. Thanks Phil and Kelly. I brought my 2014 Chevy Cruze in for its first oil change and tire rotation as specified with the 2-year Warranty. There was a small computer glitch since I purchased the car new in 2015 (only had 214 miles), but Mr. Coats worked all of that out and the Service was all covered under the Warranty. I was offered a ride more than twice, but I waited, comfortably in the waiting area for my car to be serviced and it was ready in no time. Thank you Powers-Swain.

My Pontiac (new to my by 7 months & purchased from another dealer) had succumbed to catastrophic engine failure and towed to the dealership at the recommendation of GM. The team at Powers Swain truly worked diligently and listened to my situation to enable me to crawl out of a broken mess and into a brand new car. From the mechanic and service manager to the receptionist and sales rep all the way to the finance and general manager, the entire team took the time to listen, calculate and assist. I have been dealing with Powers Swain Chevrolet for over 20 years. They have always exceded my expectations. I have bought 5 vehicles from them in that time frame. I came in looking at the new Equinox LT1. We were working on reestablishing my wife's credit ruined by a previous marriage. I was also trying to keep my paymets under $400 a month . Jeff Edmund & Phil Cannady got us into a 2011 GMC Certified 1 owner vehicle with warranties and the price per month we wanted. It also has everything we were looking for. If you didn't know it was a 2011 you would swear it was a 2015. I also like the style better than the Equinox,.Powers Swain Chevrolet & there sales staff go the extra mile by giving 110%.P.S I won't buy my vehicles anywhere else. Thanks again Richard & Pamela

Powers-Swain is 31 in our book. * We purchased a 2015 2500HD Z71 from Phill Cannady, * we never ounced felt like we were being pushed into any vehicle, before our purchase I mentioned to Phill what I was looking for, could have been used or New. He sat with the wife and I and went thorugh several vehicles based on what our needs were. Appointment time was open,staff greeted me at the door and, after explaining the work needed, seated me comfortably in their very nice lounge. I was hardly there long enough to finish a game of Solitaire on my tablet (they provide free W-Fi) when I was told that the job was done, handed the invoice, explained that all work done was covered by warranty and my bill was zero, and whisked out the door held open for me to my veh parked just outside the door. I don't see any way the experience could have been improved upon.

I recently purchased a 2014 Impala. The service is always fantastic! We have bought many cars, trucks, and SUVs over the years from Powers Swain Chevrolet. They also have a great service department as well. A few years ago when I was involved in a car accident, they did an awesome job repairing my car. I saw the 2008 Chevy TrailBlazer online while browsing for an SUV for my son, who currently been asking for a ride with friends and colleagues including his boss. Working during week days make it hard for him to look for his self, so I offer to help him out. We found different dealership close by Laurinburg, NC where my son lives, but none would "really" wanted with us "price wise" until I found "POWERS-SWAIN CHEVY". Mr. Demond Mott is a real nice company representative. I do environmental work in VA & NC and a current Chevrolet owner, but had been looking at purchasing a Chevy Volt. I had compared to vehicles by other manufacturers and the Volt fit my needs (and wants!). I had searched quite a few places trying to find a Volt equipped with the feature set that I wanted (I'm picky), and the one for sale at Powers-Swain Chevrolet was the closest match. My initial contact was with Amy in internet sales and later with both her and Sam... the two of whom worked as a team and were able to gain my confidence, provide me with the information I was seeking, and eventually earn my business. I traveled to meet with Sam (who was agreeable to meet me first thing in the morning to accommodate my work schedule) who gave me an overview of PSChevy, kept me at ease, delighted me with the vehicle and eased me through the process. I met Amy as well when I was there and received a nice follow-up from both of them after the sale. I have nothing but praise for Powers-Swain Chevrolet and for them employing individuals such as Sam & Amy. My father & I flew over 1000 miles to purchase a corvette from Powers/Swain Chevrolet , and we are more than pleased, Wayne Carpenter our salesman represented the vehicle exactly the way we anticipated it to be when we arrived , in fact it was better than I had hoped , it was exactly what we wanted , and we were able to agree on a very fair price , if anything I would say I got a deal of a lifetime , if your a corvette enthusiast like my father and I. I feel we lucked out getting to deal with someone as honest and down to earth as Wayne , however everyone there seemed very professional and very pleasant to work with , I would strongly recommend Powers/Swain to anyone in the market for a GM vehicle , and especially encourage them to ask for Wayne.

Recently had my 2012 Equinox at Powers Swain for oil change and tire rotation. The experience was "smooth as silk" from making an appointment online to check out at the cashier's window. I was shuttled promptly to work and was notified promptly when my vehicle was ready. Everyone was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Another successful experience at Powers-Swain as always!

I was in the market for a new truck and went to Powers-Swain Chevrolet to look at their inventory. My salesman Wayne was absolutely top notch. He answered all of my questions, didn't play any of the usual games that seem to happen at a car dealership. The trade in was appraised at a high level right off the bat, well within my range of what I was looking to get for it. My salesman even found me an extra amount of money to reduce the price of the truck, money that I'd not have known about as a customer, which he could have just as easily not mentioned, but he did so that was awesome of him to do. The entire experience upon arrival until I left with a great truck with a super deal was well beyond my expectations, and I am definitely pleased with the experience. Highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new Chevrolet!

The process started out well until the salesperson locked me into a price based upon my "character/good faith" in his words. A day before I was supposed to make the long drive to the dealership, they called me and said they could no longer do the price we had agreed upon. The one credit I will give the dealer is that they let me know of the change in price before I drove there. Other than that, they seemed very misleading and it seemed like the salespeople, managers, etc. did not have an agreement upon price.

ugh is all i can say. i stood around for a long time before anyone even asked me if I needed help, the guy who came out to help me acted like he rather be anywhere but there talking to me. he didn't seem very interested in selling me a car. after reading reviews on other websites about this dealership im glad he didnt i just want to say thank you to him for being rude and i eneded up going to another dealership where i drove off with a nice 2013 volt. they didn't even have courtesy water bottles or coollers, just vending machines for customers at the power swain one. i give them 2 thumbs down

I purchased a 2013 Chevy Silverado Extended Cab 2WD. This is the second vehicle I have purchased from Powers Swain Chevrolet and couldnt be more happy. My salesman John (Jay) Coats is 2nd to none. He treated me with nothing but professionalism and courtesy. This is the 2nd car Mr. Coats has sold me and I am without a doubt one satisfied camper. He went out of his way numerous times to call me with updates on when my vehicle would be here, price quotes, vehicle options etc.... He treated me like I was family. Don Copeland, known as DC, provided the best sales experience I have ever had. His professionalism, attention to detail during my car buying experience, and knowledge are the factors that contibute to this being my best experience. I greatly appreciate a car salesman going above and beyond the status quo of "just trying to sell me a car". DC provided the best solution for me and my family to fill our need for another vehicle. There was no "cookie cutter" approach or offers; just direct , forthcoming, and truthful conversation. I am completely satisfied with my experience and interaction with DC and the Power-Swain staff and will do business with them again. For the past two months, Powers-Swain Chevrolet has been advertising a 1993 Corvette ZR-1 for sale on the AutoTrader website as well as Cars.com. The problem is, the car has been sold and is not available. I have been attempting to get information about this 1993 Corvette ZR-1 since December of 2012 when I first saw it advertised on the two previously mentioned used car websites. I emailed the dealership numerous times from both of the websites. Each time I emailed the dealership, I would receive a generic response from Powers-Swain thanking me for my interest in one of their fine automobiles and that one of their courteous sales staff would follow up with me by phone in the next 24 hours. Never happened. I then decided to try calling the dealer by phone. Not much luck with that idea. Over a six day period, I called Powers-Swain a total of 16 times. Each time I called, I was greeted by a monotone voice on the dealers voicemail that informed that ALL of the sales staff at Powers-Swain were busy helping other customers, but if I left my phone number, somebody would call me back as soon as they became available. I left six messages. No one has called me back. Finally, after two weeks of trying to get information about the 1993 Corvette ZR-1, I managed to get through to the dealer by phone. The salesman then informed me that the 1993 Corvette ZR-1 had been sold to a wholesaler about three weeks ago. I informed him that the car was still listed for sale on AutoTrader and Cars.com, and the salesman told me that someone else at the dealer was responsible for maintaining the used car websites. The salesman then asked me if I might be interested in another Corvette. I explained to him that I was looking specifically for a fourth generation (C4) Corvette ZR-1. The salesman then admitted to me that he did not even know what a Corvette ZR-1 was. Bottom line, Powers-Swain Chevrolet leaves a lot to be desired. They do not return calls, they do not answer emails, they do not update their used car websites and their sales staff is ignorant with regards to their ultimate flagship model, the Corvette.

It has been 11 years since I purchased a vehicle. Dreading the process, I was referred by a friend. I was pleasantly surprised at the friendliness of the staff and the willingness to accommodate my crazy work schedule. I hate shopping for a new or used vehicle. HATE it. But when you need one, you need one, and thankfully, my experience with Powers Swain was exemplary. I stopped in to the service department to ask a question about my autolock clicker, the mechanic behind the counter gave me a quote on a new one, and when he saw my look of shock, he asked to see my clicker. He took it apart, cleaned it out, and returned it to me. No charge. And it worked! I asked for a reference for a salesman; one he would send his mom or sister to, and he gave me the name of Phil Cannady. Phil was unbelievable. He listened to what we needed, and spent hours driving with us, listening to our concerns, guiding us away from used vehicles which wouldn't fit our needs or might give us grief later, and then even got a vehicle which was not actually even for sale yet (it was traded in the day before) and let us check it out. It turned out to be the vehicle we purchased. After the sale he became even more amazing, to the point of personally driving out to my house while we were packing for a move under a tight deadline, picking up my newly-purchased truck, taking it to the dealership to fill up the gas tank as promised, and, completely on his own, stopping at a shop and buying the correct size trailer hitch needed for my trailer, and returning everything back to me. The running boards we requested were installed and perfect, the 2010 truck was cleaned with a fine-tooth comb, the missing manual was reordered from the manufacturer and forwarded out to our new mailing address, and when we had an issue with the license plates, Phil personally called the Bureau of Motor Vehicles and resolved it. I have never, in any transactions, experienced that level of customer service. This review is late; I purchased the vehicle in December and it is now May...but Phil reminded me of what a great guy he is just the other day, when he, in North Carolina and me in Texas, not likely to ever have a sale from me again, took the time to send me a Happy Mother's Day text message. He really is a stand-up guy and I would refer anyone I know to him. I really still don't like buying a car, but this has really restored my faith in dealerships.
