Smooth and fast experience buying a new car from this dealership. A lot of initial steps tackled online and via email. Will consider them again if buying another Subaru in the future. Only snafu- they did forget to put the owners manual in the car glove compartment, but I got it from them a couple of weeks later.

Salesperson was rude. Just want a quick sale. Do not appreciate educated customers. Also added extras of 800 bucks that no other dealership does. I had to walk away because of being virtually called a liar as I didn't buy their car right away! Wow!! I think they need to learn that in the end "it's all about the customer"!! I just wasted my 2 hrs. Don't waste your time. There are many other better dealerships available in the area.

I had a very positive experience at Premier, and got a great deal on a Forester. Adam spent a lot of time making sure I learned about the car and its features, as well as walking me through my various options in terms of used vs new, trim levels, equipment and financing. Hes a straightforward professional, as are Will and Rod who helped to finalize the deal and get all the paperwork done. Premier offered a wide selection, competitive prices, a comfortable environment and most importantly, a team of professionals who know how to both treat customers with respect and get the best deal possible. Looking forward to many safe miles in my Subaru and recommending Premier to friends and family looking for a good deal on a great car.

I was quite nervous during this whole process of trading my car and purchasing a new one. Helene was great in providing me with the information I needed to make decisions. She rolled with, as halfway during this process I changed my mind and switched cars. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and that was important to me. Helene was very through with me and continued to ask me questions to make sure I understood everything and was comfortable with the direction that we were going. Overall my experience was great !

Great experience! Looked at many dealers for a used Subaru Legacy. Wanted: Mileage below 70k. Clean ( I keep a car for at least 7 years). Dark exterior color. Dark seats. Found plenty of Legacys with what I wanted except for having Warm Ivory i.e. beige seats. Salesman Mark Gennette went beyond the call and engineered a deal to put custom black leather seats in a low mileage Crystal Black Silica Legacy. Sales Manager Will Petrillo negotiated the sale of my trade and purchase of the car. He was firm but fair. Business Manager Jeff Irzyk discussed all financial decisions and warranty options with us and completed the paperwork flawlessly. He made the process easy and stress free. When we picked up car it was absolutely perfect, inside and out! Premier Subaru has changed the stereotype of buying a car from a root canal to a comfortable transaction.

My experience with Premier Subaru (Branford) was a bit of a headache but overall very pleasant. I went to Premier to test drive a certified used car and was lucky to get Barb Mullen for my sales rep. Barb is the epitome of car sales done right. She provided an absolute no pressure environment and genuinely cared about making me happy. I initially wanted to trade in my old car, but after the sales manager offered less than half of its worth I was forced to sell private party. During this process Barb was always there at a drop of a hat and made sure I ended up in the car I wanted. Within a week of owning the car, I realized the front speakers didnt work and the steering rack started to leak. Originally they told me it wasnt covered under warranty and that I had to pay $1200+ to get it fixed. I expressed my dissatisfaction to Brian Iaguessa in the service department, and he did everything he could (going to his manager, and eventually to the owner Bob Alvine) to get it fixed at no cost to me. It took a week to get my steering rack replaced and another 3 weeks to get my speakers settled. In Summary: Pros: - Buying a car at Premier is extremely easy and very pleasant (i.e. Barb Mullen). - The staff in the service department care (i.e. Brian Iaguessa). Cons: - Used cars are not checked as thorough as you would like. - Typical dealership trade in values

After driving my '03 Ford Explorer for 232K miles I finally felt it was time to get a new car. Unfortunately, a trade in wouldn't give me much money so I have decided to keep it for a while as my dog car.. Since my husband has an '02 Outback and has been pleased with it for the most part (we bought it used and it did have some noise issues) and wanting a good size but a bit lower in height car I decided to get the Outback. I didn't have specific criteria other than moon roof and cloth seats. I had been in touch with Kristen, one of the managers, and expressed my need to get the best price. Upon arriving at Premier on the last day of the month I entered into a busy showroom. Mark Stewart was my salesman and I could tell from the beginning it was going to be a stress free experience. We were a good match. Mark was knowledgeable, patient, a good listener and had a good sense of humor, which is very important to me. My husband will be buying a car hopefully sooner rather than later I would recommend he work with Mark.

The past year for me has been filled with many hardships and craziness. The staff at Premier Subaru were the complete opposite of this! They were all extremely helpful and went the extra mile to work with my busy schedule! This was the first time buying a car on my own, and even though I kind of knew what I wanted and how the process went, they helped and explained in more detail. I am very thankful for Ted Astarita, the because he definately accommodated my wants and needs. I want to give a huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped while I was there. It was superb customer service and I HIGHLY reccomend this dealership and its' staff. :)

We have always considered Subaru to be an excellent brand, but were hoping for a hybrid model. Our interest was piqued when we learned about the Crosstrek hybrid, and we visited the showroom to take a look when we were ready to buy a new car. Barbara Mullen did an excellent job of showing us the different models, answering our questions, and figuring out which vehicle would suit our needs best. Never did we feel pressured. We just bought a Forrester, and are very happy with it so far. Jeff Ircyk was equally pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient. Overall, this was the best experience we have ever had in purchasing a vehicle. We would highly recommend this team to our friends and family.

I had been driving an old car for a while and was excited to start looking for cars. I loved the Kia Optima but thought it would be too expensive. I was hoping for a new car but told myself I'd buy an older car if it was the right one. I went to Kia first "just to look". It was incredibly busy because it was a Saturday but we decided to wait to talk to someone. Dan, who isn't even a salesman but a manager, came over and started to talk to us while we waited. He asked me what I was looking for and I gave him a very short description and told him my price range. He told me he'd check what he had and see if he could find me the perfect car. Within 10 minutes, I was test driving a fully loaded 2012 Kia Optima that was at an amazing price in my price range. He helped me until Tyler was free then Tyler took over, explaining everything to me and helping me to fill out paperwork and put money down to hold the car. Within an hour and a half I had found my car and put money down. Kenny helped me to find a great loan and 3 days later I picked up my amazing car. They also made me feel that if anything was wrong or I had any issues, I could always call and talk to them. Everyone was so nice and although I was expecting to feel pressured, especially as a younger female, I never felt that way. Everyone was just worried about getting me a car I liked, not what they wanted to sell me. I HIGHLY recommend going to Premier Kia if you aren't into that fake salesman act you get at some other places.

This place is fantastic! Forget all of those stereotypes and horror stories you hear about the car buying process! Premier Kia is the least "car dealer-y" dealership I've even been to! All of the staff we interacted with were genuinely nice people who seemed to really enjoy their jobs. We felt comfortable immediately upon entering the door, never felt that we were bring tricked or manipulated, and ended up with a fantastic car at a great price! I visited Premier Kia because they were the only Kia dealer in the area that is a part of the Costco Auto Buying Program. I exchanged a few e-mails with Rita, spoke with her on the phone, and scheduled a time to test drive the 2014 Kia Soul. We test-drove the car with Tyler, who was extremely friendly, helpful, and answered all of our questions about the car. We worked with Dan and Tyler to determine the pricing, and they offered me enough for my old car that I decided to trade it in over selling it privately. With the Kia and President's Day incentives, plus the Costco pricing, lifetime power train warranty, and two years of maintenance included, we really feel that we got an incredible deal on our 2014 Kia Soul! Within an hour and a half of arriving we had (painlessly) made a deal on the car! There was none of the pressure and back and forth horror stories that I've heard about the car buying process elsewhere. I was in shock at how smoothly everything went! When we picked up the car a few days later, Kenny spent lots of time with us explaining all of the paperwork we were signing and finalizing the sale. Then, Tyler transferred the plates from my old car to the new car (he even has a special license plate flattening technique!), and spent plenty of time with us in the car explaining to us how each button and feature worked, and how to connect my phone via bluetooth (very important!). I feel that it's worth noting that the car came with a full tank of gas- I've heard from others that they've had to fight for a full tank when picking up cars from other dealerships. We were soon excitedly on our way in our new car! I would highly recommend Premier Kia to anyone I know after the wonderful experience we had! They really made us, a fairly cynical couple, feel comfortable and informed throughout the process. We are so pleased with our new car, and we really appreciate the help and hard work of those at Premier Kia!

I got my new forester 2014 at Premier Subaru. From the moment I sent the first e-mail and to the time I drove home in my new card, I enjoyed my purchasing experience. Mark was my sales consultant and his honesty and patience made me buy the car; he took the time to deal with me, my wife and 2-year-old son (not easy). I had two cars in mind, but Marks knowledge and experience helped me to pick the forester. Daniel was an amazing salesman and made the experience great. He did all he could for us so we could get the car we want, he didnt push us towards any other car. He went well out of his way to show us everything, answer all of our questions and get us the best possible deal. He seemed more like a friend than a salesman. It was a great experience and I would recommend Daniel to anyone. The experience will be great. He is definitely the best asset to Premier Subaru. Just beware of the Finance Department and Rodney. He seems very pushy and rude. He constantly scolds his employees in front of customers which is rude and inappropriate. He also doesnt take comments or suggestions well. I was attempting to register my new vehicle in my home state since I am a military member and am a resident of another state. He said I could not do it, it would be hard and that he didnt want to. In the end he did it, but it was a difficult and painful process. He also tried to get me to finance thorough them when I already told them I had a pre-approved loan through my bank with a better rate. The overall experience was great, Daniel and the others made it a very positive experience and highly recommended. Just be prepared to have some issues with the finance department and their bad customer service.

It made Tyler's job a little easier that I went to Premier Kia knowing exactly what I wanted. It got a little worrisome for me when he told me they didn't have it. However, in under a week they had it, the financing was set up, they had transferred my insurance, gave me a great trade in on my Subaru, and I was off in my sparkly 2014 Optima, loaded with every option I had asked for. Tyler is fantastic - he is friendly, helpful, honest, and really personable. Before I left the lot, he sat in the car with me and explained every button and feature, so I was fully informed and not sitting at the gas station trying to figure out how to open the gas flap, or which side it was on (for example). He followed up with me after a few days, and then again after a month. My car was hit and Premier helped set up an appointment for me to take it to be looked at by a local repairer. Awesome, AWESOME, service. And the best part is, ALL of the staff are really nice. I love this place, seriously.

I was looking for a Certified Pre-Owned 2011 Outback with a manual transmission, and couldn't find one locally, but Premier Subaru had the perfect car. My initial conversations were with Rita, who was fantastic, and then Rita put me in touch with Tricia to finish the process. Tricia was great to work with, and very helpful and responsive throughout the process. Because I was buying the car without ever seeing it in person, and having it shipped across state lines, I had to rely on Tricia a great deal, and I felt that I could really trust her. She looked the car over for me personally (while I was on the phone with her), and made sure there would be no surprises when it got here. When the auto shipper I had arranged took longer than anticipated to pick up the car, Tricia had the car cleaned a second time to make sure it looked really nice when it got here. Once I did receive the car, she called again to make sure everything looked good and was working well, and even talked me through some of the car's features. I couldn't recommend her more highly!

Just purchased a 2014 Forester Limited with Tricia Bailey and couldn't be happier! Tricia worked very hard to get me a the car I wanted at a great price. Besides being very outgoing,friendly and caring she is very knowledgeable about the Subaru products. I purchased my first Subaru at Premier from Trisha Bailey. I had a great "overall" experience from the dealership, but Trisha was outstanding as a salesperson. She was honest, patient, knowledgeable of the product and very willing to "dig deep" for any questions I had that she might not have been able to answer to what she thought was her best ability. She spent an enormous amount of time with me making sure that all my needs were met. Since my purchase in April 2013, I have spoken to Tricia and returned to Premier for "customer service" help/questions that I have had. Tricia is always willing to help me and is very professional in her role. I believe that Tricia is a great asset to the "Premier Subaru Team"!

Bought my first Subaru from this dealership. I have bought 6-7 cars in my lifetime and by far, this was the best experience ever. My salesman, Jeff Irzyk, was very helpful, patient, and knowledgable. He was not pushy at all. He took the time to explain all the features during my test drive and answered all my questions. Jeff was also very responsive via email and followed-up quickly. I tried several brands/dealers during my research and he was definitely the best, most professional person I dealt with. I highly recommend him if you are looking at Subarus. We have just leased two new 2014 Outbacks through Tricia Bailey. Trish worked amazingly hard and effectively to put together a 'deal' for us that made it less expensive to lease both new cars at the same time, even though the lease on one still had 6 months to run. That's a first for us and a great credit to Trish for looking out for our best interest. We live two hours away from Premier Subaru, and Trish handled everything in advance through email and phone. We were able to drive down, pick up the cars, and return home, all in a few hours! Her service is excellent, friendly and uncomplicated - making the exchange from old to new cars uncomplicated and a pleasure. We have leased two other cars through Premier: from Trish to Rich Johnson to the Service Department. We are so happy that we have found Premier Subaru: these are our third and fourth leases and you can be sure we'll go back to Trish when the leases on our two new Outbacks are up!

I was particularly pleased with the lengthy test drive he took us on -- not the usual cursory once-around-the-block one you might expect. Everyone else was equally pleasant, particularly Michael Myers.

I recently bought a 2013 Subaru Impreza Sport from Jeff Irzyk at Premier Subaru. I was long overdue for a new car but I did not relish the thought of going through what I thought would be a hassle buying a new car from a dealer. My experience at Premier, and with Jeff Irzyk, was anything but a hassle. Jeff is a very knowledgable, no pressure salesman. I also used the Costco Auto Buying program which could not have been any easier. I got this car for about $2200 off MSRP. Finally, I'm also a Consumer Reports subscriber. Consumer Reports gives very high marks for the Subaru Impreza. I bought the Sport (hatchback) Limited. It is an awesome looking car, gets great gas mileage, has all-wheel drive, has a safety record second to none, and should be incredible in the snow. I should never have waited as long as I did to get a new car. Jeff Irzyk and everyone I dealt with at Premier are great people.

Since we were new Subaru shoppers and had no idea what model we were interested in we strolled the extensive selection of cars on the lot. After looking at a number of models and several of each model we started the test drive process. We test drove a Crosstrek limited and a Forester. Jeffrey asked us if we wanted to test drive any other cars. Since we had decided that the Crosstrek was the car for us we did not test drive any other cars. Our salesperson, Jeffrey Lambert, made the entire process an enjoyable experience. After the test drives we discussed general pricing. We let Jeffrey know that we had other dealerships to visit and would get back to him. Jeffrey gave us his card and we left. There was no pressure to make a deal at that moment. No one followed us out the door trying to get us to stay to hammer out a deal. After we left we went to Costco and saw the Costco Buying Program brochure. We went home and went online to see what dealership was in the Costco Buying Program. It was Premier Subaru in Branford. We e-mailed Premier to get the Costco price and Jeffrey got back to us with the Costco price. We received other offers and the price at Premier was the best. Another dealership quoted a selling price that was approximately $200+ higher for a car with an MSRP $1,200 lower than the MSRP of the Crosstrek limited that we purchased at Premier Subaru in Branford. That dealership's salesman stated that the Costco Car Buying program was only a referral service, that there was no Costco price. I do not know if there is a Costco price, but we received the lowest price by using the Costco Car Buying program and received a $200 coupon from Costco for using their Car Buying program to buy a car. The coupon can be used at Premier Subaru for service, accessories or parts.

My experience here has been very nice, easy and very quick! Richard Johnson is amazing! He actually helped us bring our car down for oil changes all the way from Terryville!! Very honest and caring staff, Tricia Bailey was helpful and very sweet and helped us through the paperwork and overall information of the vehicle. Adam was our salesman for our first Subaru purchase and he did a wonderful job as well. Overall this has been a wonderful experience, both times!!!

looked at several dealers on line and Premier, specifically Lauren, made the process much easier than other dealers. From initial contact and eventual purchase it was a pleasure dealing with her and also Tricia. No typical high pressure, just answered my questions and when I was ready to buy. things moved quickly and flawlessly. The delivery of the vehicle was great with Tricia taking the time to explain everything I needed to know without trying to sell add ons or other warranties. I came to Premier KIA after I had a car accident in January 2013 and had no choice but to buy a new car. I met with Cindy Carasone who made this process that I didn't think would be pleasant for me a great experience! It hasn't ended with the purchase either she continues to check in and make sure I'm satisfied with my vehicle, and she has also set up service appointments for me. I now look at her as a friend not a person who sold me a car. I have and will continue to refer customers to Cindy at Premier KIA because this is exactly how a person making a large purchase should feel during and after this process. Cynthia Carasone was very helpful I'm finding my Kia Optima. She was able to answer questions and address some of my concerns (wanting a little more space for the kids but not willing to get a minivan. With two small children in tow it wasn't easy car shopping but everyone at premier made the experience easier-whether it was helping keep my two year old smiling or giving us the time to be sure it was the right fit (2 car seats and all). We got an amazing deal on the car as well as a much greater amount than anyone else around was willing to give for my trade-in. I even got a personal call from the service department and the sales manager to see how I felt about my car and if I had any questions about a week after buying it. The whole process was so much smoother and easier than I thought it would be and I couldn't be happier with my purchase!

I went to several dealerships before finding a phenomenal deal on a used Civic at Premier Kia. Cynthia from Premier was extremely helpful, friendly, and easy-going. I came to Premier Subaru upon the recommendation of a coworker who had nothing but great things to say about the dealership and his Subaru. I started my look online where I found the car I was interested in. I was a bit nervous, this was going to be my first new car purchase. Heading in, I was met by Tricia Bailey. She was super friendly, and very helpful! Never made me feel pressured at all, and answered any questions I had! She helped me find the car I had looked up online and after a fun test drive, we got down to business. Their prices are very fair, they were lower than a Subaru dealer closer to my home. So without any hassling or haggling on my part, we were able to come to a deal that I was satisfied with. And with that, I left with my first brand new car, and I couldn't be happier with how it all turned out! So glad I took the advice of my coworker and went to Premier! I had a wonderful experience purchasing my Subaru. Tricia was very professional and accommodating. If she didn't know the answer she found out who did in an instance. I drive by the dealership on a regular basis and when I do I beep and someone always waves back to me. I have given several friends of mine who are interested in buying a Subaru Tricia's name as a reference. She truly enjoys her job and it shows all over her smiling face. This was the first time I have purchased a car from a dealership. I was hesitant at first but then ended up having a great experience. I walked into premier for the first time with no appointment. Tricia made us a priority and spent much of the afternoon giving us a complete review of their inventory. She didn't pressure as at all and let us walk away. I did my homework and shopped around for about a month. When it came to making a decision I felt that Tricia deserved my business because of the low pressure atmosphere, honesty, and straightforwardness with an out the door price. I felt Tricia always had my best interest in mind and even called me after work hours to make sure I got my forester before anyone else could claim it. Perhaps the most incredible experience I ever had in a car dealership was at Premier Subaru with Trish. I've bought many cars in my life, did my homework, and knew exactly what I wanted (a 2013 "leftover" Legacy v6, base model, pretty much option free). The car in that configuration was being discontinued by Subaru. Only a few were left in the US at the time. Trish knew she could not get one and sell it to me. Did the story end there? No! It just began. Trish made it clear she did not want to just sell me a car, but earn a customer. She made sure I knew all my options if I changed my mind (because I was new to Subaru, she allowed me to test drive pretty much anything I wanted). She offered to work to find me one used, one of comparable value, and made sure I knew what a solid dealership Premier was for my future needs. She emailed me financial models, cars coming available, and was totally on top of my situation. One does not forget service like that. Trish knew she would not make a dime this go-round. My situation was unique, but with a wife and 2 kids needing cars in the future, Trish has won herself (and Premier) a customer for years to come. I was very impressed.

We had narrowed our choices down to three kinds of cars, Volvo wagon, Toyota Prius, and Subaru Outback. We visited Premier Subaru and had the good fortune to have Tricia Bailey as our salesperson. She was very attentive, knowledgeable, and, as a fellow dog-lover, helped us choose our Outback. Tricia follows up with us constantly to make sure we are still happy with our purchase, and we are. I had recently totaled my 2004 Subaru forester and was in the market immediately for another. Premier Subaru had a beautiful 2007 model on their lot and when I went check it out, The car was everything they had advertised a more. Tricia Bailey was a fantastic sale rep and went above and beyond to get me into that car and it was the best choice I could've made. Almost 3 months have gone by and I have not a single complaint and the car is a dream. Tricia was not only attentive during the entire day I spent there, making sure this car was the one for me, but she continued to show interest in me and my purchase months after I bought it. I recently received a friendly postcard from her for my birthday and letting me know she is STILL available to help me out with any issues I have in the future with my car. Aside from tricia's help, Michael Meyers, one of the ownership counselors, was also a pleasure to sit down with and help finalize my purchase. My family is in the market for another subaru and I can honestly say there is no other dealership I'd like to go through and no one else I'd prefer to use than Tricia.

Trish was the sales rep my 19 yr old son used in April 2013 when he bought his first car on his own. Trish worked with him on the whole process. My son's experience was very smooth for someone who is a first time car purchaser. I thought Tricia's demeanor and personality were great. So, when we were looking to get our daughter her first car we naturally thought of Tricia. Tricia listened to what my daughter was interested in and what she was looking for. I went there looking for a used car. The dealer and I walked the lot and talked about my price range and how much I could afford. I saw a few I took a shine to but he said with my credit rating, the cars were priced too low for the finance company to consider me. He showed me a higher priced car and I liked it very much. After a test drive I was sold on the car. (Subaru's have a tendency to basically sell themselves) I asked him if I could leave a few hundred dollars with him for a few days til I came up with the rest of my down payment. He told me that was not how they do things there and that I would need to come up with the full down payment before they will take it off the sales lot. I made an appointment with him to come in in two days with the down payment. I called and spoke with him a few times over the next 48 hours because I was worried they might sell it. He kept assuring me the car was set aside for me and kept turning down my offer of a few hundred dollars to put a hold on it. The morning of the day of my appointment, he called me and told me that the car had been sold by a different salesman, the previous evening... REALLY? Needless to say I was quite flustered. He told me I can come down and look at what else he had on the lot. Though I was angry, I decided I would take a ride there and look around again at my scheduled original appointment time... When I got there I looked at the other cars on the lot. Nothing else interested me at that point though. As I went to the other side of the building, I saw "my car" sitting there with a sold tag on the front seat. The "Sold" tags they use there have two places on them for information. One is where they fill in the customers name, the other is where they fill in the sales person's name. Guess who's name it said in the spot for sales person.. Yup!! Now at that point, I was burning up... I had thoughts about seeing the manager, but I was just so angry that I just wanted to get out of there right away. As I was walking to my vehicle, my salesman approached me. I've never been so irate in public with people around in my life before that moment.. I let him have it good. I made sure to explain back to him step by step what had happened. There were customers coming and going, and they all got the basic idea of why I was mad and the details of what he had done to me.

I drove 60 miles to this dealer due to the selection of used cars and the best prices I could find in CT. I bought a used Forster that is certified , the sales manager Rich and the finance guy Rodney were great . Rodney was able to beat my credit unions interest rate which hasn't happened in the last 6 cars I have purchased. The only problem is a very new sales man that made the experience a bit of a hassle . He dropped the ball on a bunch of Little things but I will say that he and the dealer fixed all of them .Overall the experience was a little more difficult than some of the purchases but all and all I got the car I wanted for the price I wanted and also got what I wanted for my trade in so it was worth it and I would travel the 60 miles again to buy another car from them.
