Since I’ve bought my car at this location there has been nothing but issues. They never serviced the car that was “certified pre used”. Even though I mentioned numerous times there was an oil warning on the car. They assured me it just needed to be cleared from the cars computer and that it was fine. Stupidly I believed them and I was driving for 3 weeks when they called saying they needed the car back because it had in fact sat in their lot ever since the previous owner returned it. Never serviced, never looked at, but assured my it was fine. Any services appointment since has been nothing short of a headache to get an appointment and to deal with the staff. Today they had my car for 4 hours to replace a clock spring and pair a new spare key. They called saying it was ready. I asked “are both keys paired to the car” knowing they’re history on poor work. Again, assured me all is ready to go. Get here and the new key is not paired at all to the car. Apparently no one thought to test the keys to make sure first. So simple to click lock on the key fob and here a beep but couldn’t be bothered. I realized immediately and am now waiting for them to finish the job I was told was already done. Always check everything g before leaving. Then go to Danbury going forward.

I leased my 2021 Atlas from Taft at Prestige who was amazing! Trying to lease a vehicle right now with the vehicle shortage can be a real challenge. Thankfully I went to Prestige and worked with Taft who took the time to go through inventory options to try to find me exactly what I wanted, despite the shortage. He was able to get me into the perfect SUV!

Matthew Brickel was absolutely awesome to work with. I was a little hesitant to purchase from NY, but Matt made me feel at ease. The initial over the phone communications were pleasant and professional. He's a man of his word - always getting back with the information requested and in a timely manner. The experience continued when I arrived at the dealership. Matt was there to greet me and my family and continued to be a stellar salesman and again - true gentleman. He was very knowledgeable about the car I was purchasing and took his time to go over everything with me. The car was meticulously detailed. Once we were ready to sign, we were introduced to Eric Goldstein and again we were made to feel comfortable. Eric was able to get us a terrific financing rate and he went over all our options pertaining to financing and coverage. All the people at Prestige Volkswagen of Stamford were great to work with! The sales man Rob Bova was new, but he was absolutely great. The finance manager Eric made the process of turning in my lease and getting a new lease so easy and he was just as friendly and sincere and Rob. This is my fourth lease through Volkswagen and my second time with Prestige. I would highly recommend this dealership and I will be going back for another VW after this new lease is up!

Just picked up my new 2017 Jetta from Prestige in Stamford. Our salesman Manny was very nice, very professional, an very helpful. He helped steer us to a very good deal and a very nice car. I had first contacted him through the internet and he never failed to follow up. New Jetta is a nice upgrade from 2014, nice little updates. Carl the business manager also very thorough and helpful. All in all a very easy experience.

I went back this past Saturday to look for a new car . Ann was there and I had such a great experience . Super professional , knows the product , not only the car , but knows everything about leasing . Very accommodating , polite , made feel very comfortable . In 30 minutes , I had bought my new car . We recently leased a 2017 VW Tiguan from them and the whole experience (from the first time we stopped by to check out the car - to - finally driving it off the lot) .. was EXCELLENT!We had stopped by on a weekend just to check out the Tiguans - and were welcomed by Matthew Barbour at the lot. Matt was very courteous, patient, knowledgeable and most importantly - he was not pushy or trying to oversell ! It was a hot summer afternoon and Matt was patient and nice enough to let use drive TWO cars - just because after driving the first one, we saw a different trim and loved it! .. Anyways .. after that - throughout the negotiation process - Matt was very helpful to answer all our questions and provide everything we wanted to see - over emails! He was very responsive and a great person to work with!Next, after we decided on a car - and went over to pick it up .. everyone at the dealership were really nice to interact with! Edward welcomed us and was very nice! So was their finance manager Carl! .. Franklin was very courteous and friendly when he walked us through the basic features. OVERALL an Excellent experience ! .. Yes I will recommend my colleagues and friends in the area ..

Joseph Rodriguez's smile and friendly demeanor really impressed me! I asked to test drive a 2013 Certified Golf and from the moment we shook hands, he was professional and thorough and helpful. I would not buy a car from someone who was preoccupied or distracted or disinterested. despite finding a great car with a fair price tag. I just wouldn't. A different dealer had done work on the car, and that work was causing the electrics to become unreliable. It ended up being a compound issue across multiple modules, so I was glad to have the service loaner. Brittani was my Service Advisor; she really made me feel like she was looking out for my best interests, and she gave me regular progress updates. The final bill was very reasonable, and they didn't release the car until they were confident that the car was reliable again.

I did a lot of research online before heading to Prestige VW in Stamford, which happened to have a hard to find Jetta Hybrid that I wanted. When I arrived on the lot I was immediately approached by Manny, a salesman who asked me how he could help me. I told him that I needed to replace my very old car that I was concerned about my credit, which was less than stellar. He was very helpful and let me know about all my options. Also Carl at the finance department worked VERY HARD to get me approved and he did an amazing job -- very impressed with Carl. I have financed three other cars and I have to say that this was probably the best experience that I have had, and it was very quick compared to what I have experienced in the past. I am very happy with my certified pre-owned Jetta and feel like I got a very good value because of the extended warranty and service options. Would highly recommend this dealership to anyone!

Through the internet I communicated with Franklin Charmevil of Prestige. With his demeanor I felt really comfortable. He was available and ready with the car I wanted to look at. I had been looking for awhile. I've owned mostly Honda's, a Versa and an Escape. Been in dealerships a lot. This is the first time in my car buying life that I had absolutely no anxiety. He spoke with the Manager Edward Schoonmaker who introduced himself with a warm smile and firm handshake. The friendly, efficient Eric Goldstein also introduced himself. The numbers came, I looked in Franklin's eyes and knew I wasn't just another customer. I was his customer. I decided to go for it, and knew the car would be ready the next day at 5:00. I ended up having a family emergency, Franklin with Eric Goldstein got the car ready to take at noon. I still have to go back for some work and tutorial, but I couldn't be happier. It's my first Volkswagon and I hope I end up loving the car as much as my experience with the dealership.

After 16 years driving my beloved VW Golf GLS 1.8t, it was getting about time for a new car. I drove into Prestige to take a look at the new 2016 GTIs, not knowing exactly when I'd be able to buy. When I walked into the showroom, I was greeted by one of the nicest, not-a-car-salesman guys - Matthew Brickel. He and I immediately bonded over V-dubs and our mutual love of sea kayaking. Matthew is low key and a super good guy. Even though he knew I was not sure when I'd pull the trigger to buy, he spent a good bit of time with me showing me the latest. That was back in May. Matthew kept in touch in a non pushy way, and when it came time for me to really get into a new car (my beloved 1.8t was starting to show.its age), I shopped around and even after meeting with other dealers in the area, I kept coming back to Prestige and Matthew because they weren't just good guys. They were competitive with price. Yesterday, after their immense patience with answering every one of my numbers questikns, I finally took delivery of a beautiful 2016 GTI. I highly recommend Prestige.

Great customer service all the way through...even after delivery of the vehicle!I drove all the way from Cape Cod, MA to purchase a pre-owned car they had on their lot. Ann Roufs was amazing in helping me with the purchase. I was emailed detailed pictures, service records and more. All phone calls were returned in a timely manner and the car was carefully detailed and ready for my pick up. I did have an issue with the car and the team went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Ann, along with Corey and Eric, saw the issue through to the end and made sure I was happy. I would not hesitate to drive there again to purchase another vehicle in the future. The pricing was sharp, the trade-in value was fair but, most importantly, I was treated as a person and not just another deal on the table.

I cold-called Prestige VW because they had the exact Certified Pre-Owned car I wanted. Now, I had previously looked at/test drove the same year/make/model car at Valenti VW and was appalled and insulted by the management, and was treated like a 12 year-old - I honestly didn't want to buy a car from them, even if we could make a deal (their car was EXTREMELY overpriced). To say the least I wasn't looking forward to dealing with that again - I knew nothing about Prestige and didn't even have a contact - I inquired about the car and was connected with Franklin. He couldn't have been nicer - totally professional and easy to converse with...no attitude. I went down the next day, which is over an hour away, met with Franklin, as well as several other Prestige employees - I was blown away by how extremely friendly and accommodating everyone was - the car was ready (and beautiful)...we went for an actual quality test drive (not around the block, like some others). This car had less miles than the one at the other dealership....and was the price I was trying to get that other dealership to agree to. The difference was these guys were NICE!! This was a no-brainer!! I commented several times to Franklin, as well as the Finance Manager, Eric, and a few other Prestige staff, how I couldn't believe how nice and friendly they were, not to mention - no pressure - night and day compared to dealing with some other clowns out there. They knew I was serious about the car...and they treated me that way...and I got a good deal When I picked up the car, I dealt mainly with the Finance Manager, Eric, who couldn't have been nicer...and he knew his Volkswagens!! I highly recommend Prestige VW of Stamford. Don't waste your time at OTHER dealerships where you feel like THEY'RE doing you a favor selling you a car.....none of that at Prestige. Franklin and Eric were AWESOME to deal with!!

I had the most amazing experience with Prestige Volkswagen. I had a really rough time with my insurance and a car mix up and they were extremely accommodating and helpful. Matt and Carl kept the dealership open 2 hours after closing because they wouldn't leave until everything on my end was resolved. They made sure to do everything possible to work everything out. Despite me getting a new car being an unpleasant experience I had an amazing experience working with the Prestige Volkswagen team! I will highly recommend this dealership forever!

I really have had nothing but a great experience at Prestige VW. Everyone I came in contact with was extremely friendly and ready to help. I waited 3 months to write my review so that I could see how the experience continued throughout vehicle ownership and it has not changed. The day I walked in to look at the vehicle, Matthew Brickel was ready to help and answer all of my questions, with no pressure at all to buy. Also, the price for this certified GTI was already lower and had lower models then the others I found on cars.com. I knew already that it was the car that I wanted to so they prepped it then and there and I took delivery. I ended up buying the tire and wheel warranty and within two weeks of owning the GTI I hit a massive pot hole on the GW Bridge and blew out my two right tires and cracked one rim. Brought it in and they set me up with a loaner car and took care of all the damage, even what was not covered as a courtesy. Can not recommend this dealership enough

I just have to say that in the past couple months I was very unsure about getting another VW because of a few bad experiences with other VW dealerships in the past but the team at Stamford really reminded me of why I love VW so much. I love convertibles. Over the past several years I have had 3 Volkswagen EOS and more recently, a Volkswagen Beetle Convertible. I loved my car but this time around it was evident that I needed something a bit bigger. I have a 10 year old son who plays lacrosse and I needed a car that could fit him, his friends and their equipment. The Volkswagen Tiguan is the perfect fit for me. The panoramic sunroof almost feels like I am driving a convertible. It's the perfect size. My salesperson Sam Curcio and everyone at the dealership - Phil, Ed, Corey, Karl, etc. - really made me feel like they understood just wanted I needed. The atmosphere in the dealership is fun and relaxed but they also clearly know what they are doing and enjoying helping people. I have been to other dealerships but none can compare to this one . The people there were helpful and so friendly. My kids had a blast trying to shoot hoops. It's really nice when you can be in a very professional atmosphere yet it is both flexible and fun without loosing it's professionalism.The best part of the day was when me and my husband met with Carl Taylor, one of the finance manager. I had a lot of questions and concerns. He was thorough, knowledgeable and quite an expert at what he does. The most wonderful experience I've had from start to finish. I arrived at just after 7pm to look at one of their certified used vehicles, which I choose to purchase that night for many reasons. Franklin is a superb salesman, who truly understands customer service with a smile. When I asked if they had any soft drinks available, he asked specifically what kind, and rushed out the door to the gas station next door to purchase me a drink. Franklin kindly directed me through the test drive, as I am not from the area, and chatted to me about all the vehicles available features. Once we got back around 8pm (their closing time), we began the paperwork with the assistance of Eric (Finance Manager). I would have never realized what time they closed, had I not asked around 8:30pm, as they never once made me feel rushed. Around 9pm we finished everything and I was confident I made a great decision. With the added coverage plans for tires and longevity on the warranty, I have peace of mind for years to come. I use my car daily for my sales job, so having peace of mind of a reliable, fun to drive, and quality car is worth all the money in the world. Their sales floor was so friendly, I chatted with two other gentlemen on Franklin's team, who were both extremely friendly. The next day I came back to pick up my vehicle, I was greeted by not just Franklin, his two coworkers, and Eric. It was such an inviting atmosphere, I sincerely wish the dealership was closer to my home. While I was finalizing everything Edward the General Sales Manager was introducing himself to customers and came over to greet me. He is such a personable, impeccably dressed, and nice person our interaction enhanced an already wonderful experience overall. I am so happy to share such a positive experience, as car shopping can often be so difficult. I had the luck of having Todd be my salesman. He was awesome through the negotiation process along with collecting all the proper information to expedite my finance process. The vehicle was in the exact condition as advertised. Todd gave me an extended test drive to make sure this was the car for me. Once we were all positive this was the car for me we moved forward in the process. Next I got to meet Carl, the finance manager. He got me an great rate considering my credit. He made me feel welcome and even introduces me to the GM of the store, Mr. schoonmaker. I appreciate all the store has done for me. I would love to do business with them again. I want to preface this by saying I've owned over 20 cars in the last 15 years, 16 of which have been purchased at dealerships. My experience with Ann, Carl, and the rest of the team at Prestige was absolutely top tier. Initially I visited Prestige to check out a 2016 VW Tiguan for my wife. Ann, and Carl made it an absolutely hassle free process, and we found a car, and ordered it that same day. The Tiguan came in about a week later, and I was in and out of the finance office in under an hour, which was awesome. I was so impressed with the both the car, and the process; less than a month later I found myself back at Prestige to unload my Lexus, and get in something new. Knowing that I was coming from a fully loaded high end SUV, Ann & Carl were able to find a me a 2016 VW Touareg that is absolutely amazing. All in all I purchased 2 cars in 30 days from VW, and I honestly would not have come back for the Touareg if it hadn't been for Ann & Carl. It's one of the few times in my car buying life I really felt like the team was working on my behalf to help me solve a problem, and not just trying to make a sale. It was never pushy, never salesy, and I couldn't be happier with the experience.

Everyone, from the sales executive (Charles Donnelly) to the general sales manager (Edward Schoonmaker) to the executive who took us through all the leasing paperwork (Carl Taylor), was extraordinarily courteous and helpful. There is clearly a an effort, from top to bottom in the dealership, to let the customer know that the dealer cares and to provide the maximum amount of service. My wife and I have been owning and leasing VW cars (Audi and Passat) for 35 years and our experience with Prestige ranks as the best. They serviced our prior leased Passat and the service department also operated at the same high level of performance. Overall, a pleasure to do business with.

My 2010 Jetta TDI was transported to Prestige last Wednesday due to no starting. B. in service said appointments took priority and the car could not be looked at until Friday. I said it only takes a few minutes to diagnosis a starting problem on a diesel. She said, "It could be anything, a fuel pump, ignition . . ." I said, "Diesels don't have ignition."When finally looked at on Friday morning, B. said the starter motor was defective, but the part was not in stock. She said she would see if she could find one locally. Otherwise, it would have to be ordered and shipped from California. When I expressed amazement that they had no starter motor in stock, she - off the wall - said "We don't have the needed parts because you didn't make an appointment."Two hours later, having heard nothing. I called to find out if she had located the part; she was not available. So, I went to AutoZone and got the part. When I called to tell B. I had the part, she said the dealership would not install it. I contacted a repair service near Prestige and arranged for the car to be taken there, and the part installed immediately. On the way to take the part to the repair service, I received a call from B. saying Prestige would install the AutoZone part by the end of the day if I could get it there in an hour, as they would have he two to three hours needed to install the starter.I cancelled with the tow service, and took the starter to B.. I asked her to check the part to make sure it was correct. She took the part and returned shortly saying it was correct. But, though I had gotten the part to her in thirty minutes, she now said she was not sure if the car would be ready by the end of the day. She further claimed she had never told me the car would be fixed by the end of he day. I told her - having considerable experience with cars as a racing mechanic - I knew the starter could be changed in an hour. She told me VW has regulations that require the work to be done a certain way and it takes three hours.After leaving, I called two other VW dealers and was told the charge for replacing a starter on this car was for 1.5 hours of labor. I was also told there were no such VW regulations. I called B. and told her what I had learned; she said she would talk to the service manager "see what she could do."Later, she called saying the part was not correct. Frustrated with B. first due to not knowing diesels don't have ignition, second, verifying the part was correct when it wasn't, and third, her falsehood about VW mandating three hours to replace a stater, I asked to speak to the service manager. His name is Trevor Martin. At last speaking to an expert, we discussed the matter and decided it was wise to get the VW part out of California and install the starter on Tuesday.Today (Tuesday), I called to see if the part came in. B. told me it was in and the car should be ready later today. I reminded her that it takes - not three - but 1.5 hours (at most) to change the starter. She replied that I had agreed to three hours. I told her I had done no such thing. She replied that if I was not willing to authorize three hours the car would not be repaired - AND HUNG UP.I left a message for Trevor, and then contacted VW and filed a complaint. Trevor returned my call after an hour or so. He said he was looking at the paperwork and it showed B. had quoted me a price of $696.00 and that I had agreed to it. I told him that was an outright lie; B. had never quoted me a price and I had never agreed to either a price or to three hours in addition to an hour for diagnostic. He explained that VW has a set amount of time they pay the dealer for doing warranty work. Each dealer, he said, multiplies that number by a factor to arrive at a "retail" amount of time. He said their multiplication factor is 1.7. He added that instead of three hours plus diagnostic, the charge would be three hours total including diagnostic. Though, by talking with Trevor - who appears to me to be a straight shooter - I was able to get the issue resolved (though charged a half hour more than what VW dealers in Stratford and in North Haven charge for the work). Based on our discussion, I believe Trevor can be counted for appropriate corrective with the service advisor, so, hopefully, customers will not run into the problem in the future.

In hindsight, I am editing my review. The service manager Trevor was professional and helpful, although the Service Consultant "Brittani" was a useless know-it-all who could not give an update, never called back, and put me on endless call waiting. She made it a very unpleasant and frustrating experience. I recommend getting another quote regardless, and going elsewhere for emergency service.

I happened upon Prestige VW of Stamford in search of a Golf R, which, at the time, was a difficult car to come by (production, shall I say, appearing to be very limited). I had the fortunate opportunity of being introduced to Franklin, the salesperson I dealt with during the entire purchasing process. Together we explored every possible opportunity to get the "R" that I wanted. After I finally made a decision on a vehicle, we were in frequent contact by "text" regarding, production in GER, shipping, arrival at port, arrival at dealer etc. Eric helped in solidifying the $$ details so that I was able to walk out the door with a signed document that I was happy with and with confidence that I was finally going to get the "R" I wanted. At delivery day, I also worked with Carl who managed the mountains of paperwork with ease and spent as much time as I needed to decide on additional services.So that day I happily drove off with my car. All in all, a great buying experience. So far I have recommended two friends to Prestige VW of Stamford. I told them they would not be disappointed. I also told them that as soon as they are greeted at the door, be sure to ask for Franklin (Oh, and btw he's usually off on Tuesdays.)Finally, Thanks to all for making this process such a great experience.

This was the second car we have bought at Prestige VW. We went in looking for our old friend Franklin and he was there ready and able to help with our present needs. He is always receptive to our desires and not the needs of the dealership. Listening is a wonderful skill that seems to be part of the entire staff at Prestige VW. We were able to find what we needed in our price range and able to walk out with the car that very day. Even the dreaded paper work was done in an informative and caring way by Carl. I do recommend Prestige VW to my friends that are searching for new or used cars.

My experience was very positive at Prestige VW, the negotiation process was straight forward but definitely involved some give and take, sales people have a job to do. Franklin was great at keeping it light and friendly throughout the process and puts his sense of humor to good use. I also interacted with Eric Goldstein once an agreement was reached, similarly I found him to be straight forward, helpful and easy to understand.

I'll start by saying I'm not one to write reviews often. My experience, or the product (in this case both) must be of exceptional quality and perhaps even exceeding expectations in order to warrant a review from me. Again, in this case, both of these examples came true. I have also written reviews for products that failed to impress, however, this is certainly not the case. I will say for the purpose of this review I am military. As a member of the Armed Forces, I take advantage of USAA and their products. They have a car buying service available to members that allows for outstanding savings on new and used cars. I presented the price USAA said I could get for my 2016 GTI and there was no hassle what-so-ever. I also received the trade value I was seeking. Ann was wonderful during the entire process. Her kindness, expertise in the field, and professionalism shinned. I can say the same for every single individual I worked with during the process. Even those who were not directly involved with my sale made it a point to greet me every single time I walked in. I felt welcome and certainly not out of place; something that does not always happen at car dealerships. Being military also means I travel a lot. Although this is only the third car I have purchased, I have been to many dealerships for maintenance along the way. Without a doubt (and it's not even close) this is the most professional, welcoming, comfortable dealership atmosphere/business I have ever experienced. I would highly recommend this establishment for any and all car buying needs. My only regret is that I will be moving in less than a year and will have to find another dealership for service when that happens! Bravo Prestige, Bravo. And thank you Ann for everything. I almost forgot, I came in early on a Saturday and Ann offered catered lunch while I waited. I excepted. Duh :)

I have just bought my new Touareg last week and could not be happier with the whole process! I am not the easiest to deal with when it comes to selecting a car, as I'm very particular about certain things. From the very start, Franklin was approachable, patient and just an all-around good guy. Ed and Eric were also great and we even had a lot of fun, despite the whole process of talking figures. In the end, I decided to go with VW because of the friendly and professional environment. I know I made the right decision!

ok... so long story short, this place is A+++++++++!!!!! If you were to asked me on a scale of 1-10 of my satisfaction, I'd say 11. I visited several other VW and BMW dealers, but my sales person Ann absolutely sealed the deal with me by the way she listened, found my preferences, understood my budget, and heard my goals. I was shocked by how human, real, and sweet she was. I also didn't make it easy because I was pretty sure I was going to buy from another dealer, and I was just walking their lot as a double-check of their inventory 30 minutes before they closed. ANNE fulfilled all of expectations from A+ customer service, to an A+ deal, and she and Ed (the general manager) even STAYED TWO HOURS AFTER sales had closed while I was finishing my deal. They walked me out to congratulate me and hugged me even though it was late and beyond their store hours. I signed a beautiful tiguan, and I was beyond satisfied with the service overall.Ann felt like my advocate in the deal making, and Ed (sales manager) matched a deal made by other dealer. I met 5-6 people, who were not affiliated with my sale, that simply congratulated me on my purchase, and every person asked my name, shook my hand, introduced themselves, and welcomed me to the VW family (I owned a BMW prior to this) In fact, I met the finance manager, Carl, who is hilarious, and went through every single step of the process ("don't sign this unless you know this" "how do you feel about this..." "does this seem important based on your driving habits?" "Tell me how you'd like to pay, these are the numbers, let's look at the option"). Everything felt exactly as car buying should: zero pressure, transparency, no hidden fees, and exceptional customer service. I am writing this review the morning after my purchase, and I am still in awe of the entire staff's genuine humanness and willingness to listen and help. I would suggest this place to ANYONE! (And ask for ANN!!!!) She is simply the KINDEST advocate in a car buying process, and that is an understatement.

Just bought a new Tiguan 2016 from Franklin Charmevil and the whole process from beginning to end was smooth, easy and fun! After walking out of a Ford dealership where five salesmen stood chatting whilst ignoring my wife and I, we next went to Prestige VW in Stamford. The experience could not have been more different. From the moment we walked in, we were immediately greeted with a big smile and warm welcome from Franklin. He was extremely patient in showing us all the available options within our budget. At no time did we feel pressured, or rushed - he made the whole process stress-free.The following day I returned with my son Charlie to get his view of the car. Franklin joked and chatted with 10 year old Charlie and made him feel like his opinion was as valuable as the adults. He really went out of his way to make Charlie feel special. So much so, that Charlie came up with a slogan - "Who puts the SWAG into VolkSWAGen? Franklin Charmevil at Prestige VW!" Franklin got us a great deal on the car, and we are delighted with it. Would sincerely recommend Franklin, Carl, Corey and all at Prestige VW for excellent, friendly and non-pressured customer service. A great experience! Thank you guys.

I just got a new job and knew what car I wanted but the only person who had the Volkswagon I wanted was Bical Chevrolet in Valley Stream, New York (do not ever go there, they are terrible). Since my experience there was not great and I live in Stamford, I went to Prestige. Talk about a night and day experience. Prestige has such a friendly and helpful staff, they called me the next day to ensure I was happy with my service (I have never had a car place do that and it was so nice!) then I had a tire issue and the Service Manager, Trevor Martin came out, went absolutely above and beyond what any Service Manager has ever done for me by explaining to me what happened and got his awesome mechanic, Freddy (who was spectacular too) to fix the issue and check for more issues. Thanks to them, they found a huge oil leak because the Chevy dealer reused a washer! If you are looking for a car, please go to them, ask for Anne or Franklin for sales and definitely Trevor for service, you wont be disappointed.

if you go to any other dealer, you'll notice they only want your money out of you. they don't care about anything else. Sammy however was the complete opposite. i felt in the loop, he offered me other options, and he accommodated me to the best of his abilities. Fire everyone else and find people like this guy

After test driving about twenty cars and visiting about ten dealerships I landed on Prestige Volkswagon and I am sure glad that I did! Sam and his crew were awesome. They knew the vehicles very well and explained all of my options very clearly. I was walked through the purchase/trade in process and it couldn't have been easier. After doing some research on VW, I decided to set up a test drive at the nearest dealer to me, which happened to be Prestige. Franklin emailed me and we set up a time for me to come in. Not only did he let me test drive FOUR different vehicles to see the difference between diesel and gas, I ended up test driving the 2015 GTI as well because it caught my eye in the lot. I knew at that time I wasn't able to walk away with a new car but after they gave me back information about my credit, I told Franklin not to worry- I'd be back! Sure enough, VW America followed through with a phone call about a month later and Prestige ended up contacting me, so I explained how my financial situation had change and went in to do the credit application. Franklin got me to apply for a 2016 GTI because he knew what I really wanted in a car and what I wanted in a 2015 wasn't really available anymore. He and Ed went to depths to help me get the best deal possible for my lease and one week later I was driving off the lot in my beautiful new GTI. This was my first time EVER dealing with a dealership, getting a new car, getting a lease and I feel so grateful for the wonderful experience I had. I felt very catered to and like I was treated with respect... even down to Eric explaining everything about my package options and the lease for me. Thank you all SO much.

I wanted a hard to get car and have very little spare time. I called three dealerships to see if they could order the car for me and in turn charge my credit card a $1,000.00. The first dealership, Teddy Volkswagen, put me on the phone with a young lady who despite working at a Volkswagen dealership, had never heard of the car I desired and kept trying to sell me a GTI. I explained to her I wanted a Golf R, but she would not relent and to this day continues to e-mail me that she has a golf GTI just for me, the only problem is I don't want that car. The second dealership refused to order the car for me over the phone and informed me that I must come to the dealership to accomplish same. I have more than once ordered cars over the phone, why in 2015 does ordering a car require a face to face meeting. Moreover, it is clear he had zero consideration for my time, if he wanted to meet me so much, why didn't he come to my office?Lastly I called Prestige Volkswagen, got on the phone with Mark Warner and in all of five minutes he ordered the car for me. Thereafter, I met with him to discuss and show him the car I planned on trading in. Thereafter, I went to the dealership and within a short time drove him with my new car. This alone would have made it a great experience, but they showed integrity as well as respect for my time. As I noted earlier the car I sought was hard to come by, people wait for months and months to get them (don't know why Volkswagen doesn't make more, but that is a different story). In fact they ordered the car for me without even taking the $1,000.00 deposit. I found this incredible that while taking a deposit was not enough for other dealerships, Prestige ordered me the car without even taking money from me. This clearly shows the difference in the treatment and consideration of their respective customers. It only gets better, numerous dealerships know that the Golf R is very desirable and hard to get, so some charge a hefty premium over MSRP to their customers and I was fully prepared for Prestige to try this. They did nothing of the sort, rather they combined honesty along with consideration and charged me the MSRP, which for this particular model is very fair. I have nothing but exemplary comments about Prestige's sales, its unfortunate that I went into this with negative expectations, due to my dealings with the other dealerships.

I have bought many cars, and have visited several dealerships through the years. But Prestige Volkswagen in Stamford was by far one of the best buying experiences I have had. I have never been to a dealership where all the staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating, not once did they push for the hard sale (like so many sales folks do) but instead worked with me to get a great deal. Everyone I dealt with from the service manager, sales person and the finance manager were nothing short of excellent. They made buying the car a breeze and an actual pleasurable experience, I would highly recommend buying your VW from Prestige in Stamford.

As a teacher, I wait all year for the first day of summer vacation. This year that day started with a flat tire. Prestige Volkswagen turned the situation around by fixing my tire fast, processing the wheel and tire claim (special policy I purchased - you should too) so I didn't have to pay for it and got me out fast. On top of it all, they were friendly and very accommodating. Thanks to Prestige Volkswagen in Stamford my first day of summer vacation, even though it started with a flat tire, was still a great day! I have a lot of cars in my life and dealt with other Volkswagen dealerships in the area - they don't come any better than Prestige. If you are in the market for a car you should check them out.

Usually I don't bother writing reviews. But the rudeness and apathy of this dealership really annoyed me. I dropped off my car for a scheduled service and recall repair at 11 am. At 4 pm, they called to say they were overbooked and never looked at my car. Barely an apology was offered, just asked when I wanted to reschedule. Horrible customer service and very inconsiderate of customers time.

Everyone I met there was very upbeat and positive. Our Salesman, Franklin, was very knowledgable and an absolute pleasure to deal with. I never felt pressured in any way. My recently bought VW CC 2010 had issues and it showed engine lights with diagnosis codes for Cylinder misfire on multiple cylinders. My family and I were in the market to replace two cars we owned with a new one (since we have three drivers and at the start of the process owned four cars). This was going to be my vehicle to drive, and since I drove the Jeep we were hoping to replace, we had been looking at small SUV's (Subaru Crosstrek, Honda CRV, Toyota Rav-4, Mazda CX-5, Nissan Rogue, and Mitsubishi Outlander Sport) - simply because I felt I'd be more comfortable in another SUV than a "car." I work in Stamford, so I thought I'd just stop in to test-drive a Jetta purely because I knew they got great gas...and having driven a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee I was *very* ready for a fuel-efficient vehicle! The beginning of the drive was a little tense (for me), just getting used to the "car feel" - but it was not the big, drastic change I was expecting (having also driven my sister's Acura sedan a few times, which sits noticeably lower to the road), but Charley was an amazing salesperson. I hesitate to use the term "salesperson" because I never felt like I was being given a sales pitch - he actually sold me on the car because I could hear and sense his own genuine excitement about it. He owns a Jetta himself, and was able to describe the way the car drove in all its nuances in terms that I could understand, as someone who doesn't really understand vehicles in any complex way. His excitement about the Jetta was contagious, and I was hooked! Corey was great when we came back at helping me get a good idea of where lease numbers would fall with the two planned trade-ins, and when I brought my family back the next day to make a final decision, we ultimately went with the Jetta, when we'd been leaning the other way throughout the entire, month-long process. I actually came home after work and my test-drive and told my family that I'd just had the best customer service experience (for car-buying) yet - and I've worked in customer service for several years, so I'd like to think I understand the way that all works. It was just so wonderful to feel like I wasn't being pressured, or tricked, or anything negative at all - it was all positive vibes for my family and me at Prestige! I've had the car for a little less than a week now and I couldn't be happier, and I have Charley and Corey to thank, sincerely, for getting me into the car!

Even better, i don't think I could have ever found a better person to go through this process than with Ann Roufs. From my first visit, Ann was so professional, kind and awesome. Always prompt to answer my calls and emails, and all of the questions that I had. Ann is who i was able to buy my car from and she was over the top for me !! I bought my 2011 Tiguan in September and I have stayed in contact with Ann ever since. She has reached out plenty of times to check in on me and was there when i had any questions. Recently i had a mold issue in my car, i made one phone call to Ann to explain what i was experiencing in my car and they came to Long Island NY to get my car and fix it all for free (i have 2 year warranty) and give me a loaner in the mean time- NO HASSLE for me at all. I did not have to take off of work or anything... I will never go to another dealer because of the loyalty they have with there customers, i will forever be loyal to them. I would 100000 times recommend this dealer and especially Ann. Ed is the GM over there and he is super funny and easy to talk with about anything. Nothing but good things to say and can keep going on about them.!

I was experiencing difficult issues with my first leased Jetta that was barely a year old! Stating the obvious that I was the lucky pick for a bad lemon of the batch, I was stuck in a binding contract with no resolution in sight. Dealing with VW Customer Care took so long but in the interim, the help of Ann Roufs and Edward Schoonmaker made my experience more pleasant. Ann Roufs is amazing in Sales and has the best customer service attitude! Ed is diligent and great with following up, which I appreciate very much. With their help, I was finally able to get into a new lease for a bit more with more space in a new Passat. Being so close to the Holiday season, with many stresses and financial obligations, Eric Goldstein, the Finance Manager made it so simple to understand the logistics behind all the dollars, he took his time to answer all my questions and his friendly customer service made the whole process easier. Overall, I recommend Prestige VW in Stamford, CT. The customer service is outstanding!

Our Passat is the second car we have leased from VW and I normally do not write reviews, but need to let everyone know what an excellent experience we had with Ann and Prestige VW in general. Ann listened very carefully to our needs and and the type of car we were looking for and delivered in every way possible. She was very kind and even helped to keep our toddler entertained while we went through the process. She was very straightforward with no sales pitches, just worked very hard to get us exactly what we needed. We will absolutely be visiting Ann again when this lease is up.I would be remiss if I did not also mention that after having dealt with other VW dealerships in the NY area, how far and away Prestige blows the others out of the water. The showroom was clean, there was plenty of staff- all helpful and kind. They even fed us lunch, gave our toddler crayons and a t-shirt!! From the moment we walked in and were greeted by Ed, to the minute we left with our new car, we were treated respectfully, kindly, and the staff all went out of their way to provide a very pleasant experience.

I am a new yorker who did his homework and was ready to haggle, I could not use any ammo. The salesman mentioned above checked the current price only to inform me that it had dropped 520 dollars, before I said a thing.not to mention for a similar vehicle every other dealer had was at least 1600-2000 dollars more.nothing to haggle over. I had made an appointment to have my car serviced for 10,000 miles. I thought I had made it for this dealership, but I had mistakenly made it for the dealship in Stratford. I'm new to CT, so I didn't realize my mistake until I showed up at Prestige. I had asked if I could make an appointment there for another day, but Jon said he would find out if they could take me that day. He came back and said that they could take care of my car that day. During the service Jon came to me and said there was a problem with one of my tires. He showed me pictures of the gash that was there. Needless to say, I needed a new tire. They did all of this and had me out of there in a couple of hours. I really appreciate them taking my car that day and finding the problem with my tire. The service department was very busy and I was basically a walk in because of my own mix up. Everyone was very nice and pleasant to be around. I found the dealership to be very clean, tidy and comfortable. They have a really nice group of people working there and I found them very informative.

Exceptional and compassionate staff. Attempted to repair my Moms Eos on short notice to be ready for her sons wedding.
