Working with our salesman George and the business manager Steve was an absolute breath of fresh air. They got us into a truck my husband adores and did everything in there power to keep it within the monthly payment range we needed. With all the technology in new cars, he was exceptional at spending time with us getting us setup and accustomed with the new features on our Equinox. Service Manager refused to refund the over $1300 in diagnostic charges I paid Romeo dealership (accumulated over 10 MONTHS TIME! )to NOT fix engine in my Pontiac Vibe purchased new from them in 2009. The Vibe is a "corporate twin" - the same car as the Toyota Matrix, but built by General Motors with Toyota's VVT Engine. GM even sent a "Field Service Tech" from Michigan ($800 of the $1300) who spent 8 hours attempting to diagnose the problem with no success, then he called back to Michigan for help and GM recommended replacing the cylinder head (I have this in writing) - another $2000 including tax. The local TOYOTA dealer's service department and EVERY OTHER INDEPENDENT MECHANIC I paid for a diagnosis said the problem was probably the Variable Valve Timing Controller. Local Toyota dealer eventually diagnosed that VVT Controller was affected by broken and leaking water pump (WHO CAN'T SEE A LEAKING WATER PUMP???), completely fixed my car for $616, no diagnosis charges. Bottom line, both Romeo's Service Dep't and GM Field Service Tech were unwilling to admit that they were unfamiliar with my Toyota engine - My car was discontinued after 2010, and it was a low production vehicle before that, so the chances of finding ANY GM repairman in the country familiar with specific Toyota VVT Controller issues was slim to none. Romeo and GM should have outsourced my car repair to the local Toyota dealer after their 2nd attempt to fix it failed , then charged me whatever the Toyota dealer charged Romeo to fix it. Also, in April 2014 when I brought my car to Romeo to have snow tires removed & replaced with summer tires I bought from Romeo, the mechanic destroyed one of the snow tires (a mechanic who can't dismount a tire?). I was assured tire would be replaced, but the end of next November and a Thanksgiving snow storm arrived with snow tire still not replaced, so I had to drive 3 hours to relatives and 3 hours back on slippery roads with summer tires. BUYER BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP! - bumper to bumper warranty is worthless if you have an incompetent or inexperienced mechanic! But what bothered me most is Romeo's refusal to admit they were unfamiliar with my engine - I would have retained my PREVIOUS RESPECT for them if they had admitted after the 2nd attempt (out of 6!!) that none of their mechanics had ever worked inside a Toyota Matrix/Corolla engine, and then recommended I take my car to a Toyota mechanic.

I just bought dump truck not even a month.My truck was brought in to there dealership sitting on a tow truck they sold me a lemon and than hit me with a tow truck bill they were nasty and just didn't care I hate this place I'm outa Business now because because of than $30,000 I paid and in less than a month it blows up and the did nothing I'm now going to court please to everyone don't go here this place might be a big company but they work like a small shop scammers the worst

I was in search of an Suburban and had a budget- I dealt with Billy Brown and he was very nice. He helped and talked us through the process. They had a few on there lot, I test drove one and was very impressed! Billy even treated us to Dunkin Donuts :) I did use my phone to shop for a better deal. I could not find one. Romeo Chevrolet was offering me the package I needed to take to take the truck home. The financing was simple and quick. The staff was very knowledgeable and courteous throughout the entire process. They even followed up to insure that i was satisfied with my new truck. I would recommend Romeo Chevrolet to my friends and family, and I have! ( just never google Romeo.com its bad!!)

I bought a nice GMC Denali diesel from this dealership in April of 2016. I dealt with Pat Duke specially and his finance team. Let me say there was no pressure from anyone here. Also Pat Duke and his team were all very very nice, funny which helps when making a big investment in your life and helpful. I would recommend anyone to this dealer and if thinking of going there ask for Pat. When you leave they will give you a nice little gift also but I'll let your mind spin its wheels on what that may be.

I truly had my heart set on this green beauty and was beginning to lose hope, that was until I walked into Romeo and met the family and had the pleasure of working with Joe D. It was an uphill battle but I was kept in the loop and updated every step of the way. The best part was I never felt like just a customer , Joe D really cared that we left happy. Four times in one year the dealership went above and beyond to make my experience was simple and smooth. I wouldn't give it one star! They sent out this guy Scott, insulted my husband right in front of me and my son asking if he can afford the payments! That was really rude! It doesn't matter how we get the money as long as the payments are made! If not well it's on us! The sales lady Amy was really nice! They don't like receiving cash, they like bank checks better! We did NOT get a vehicle there because it WASN'T what my husband wanted and they didn't give any deals or rebates. My husband wound up going elsewhere got a GREAT deal and rebates. In the process of getting $$ back from them and it's like pulling teeth! We had to leave a deposit just so they can hold the truck. So I would not recommend this place! I am only rating Amy 5 stars! If they left Scott and his insulting self out of it, would have maybe bought the truck!

I cannot say enough great things about this dealership and all the members of the staff. From the minute we arrived to when we left we were treated very professionally and they made the car buying experience actually enjoyable. Our sales consultant Amy Haubrich even performed double duty as a babysitter for our children when my wife and I had other consultants to meet with and documents to fill out. They even gave us a bottle of wine to congratulate us on our purchase as we left, sometimes its the little things that make an experience enjoyable. I would not hesitate recommending this dealership to anyone.

After going back and forth to many dealerships and doing some research online, I returned to Romeo for my first lease. On the first encounter we were met by a friendly receptionist and she set us up with a great salesman, Mike Casella. He let me test drive a few cars and ran some numbers for me, knowing I didnt want to leave that day with a car just options, he still dedicated a good amount of time answering my questions. I returned a few days later with the intent to lease from them and Mike was there to handle it all, he answered all my remaining questions about first time leasing and spent a lot of time with my difficult insurance company. I found the process to be easy and I love the car I have. I never felt pressured to get into a car I didnt want.

This was our second lease of a GMC Terrain from Anthony Green. In both occasions it was a easy and pleasant experience. Anthony is a friendly salesman and the the Romeo people were very helpful. I ran into a problem with the transfer of the plates from the old vehicle to the new as the registration ran out the day before and it was Friday night, but Romeo let us have the car for the weekend with dealer plates on it until I straightened it out with Motor Vehicles.

The dealership and our salesman Matt Spoth were wonderful to work with. I love the idea of buying and driving our leased vehicle the same day. Matt was entertaining during our purchase even went above and beyond to undo a situation that was not within his control. Jiffy Lube could of changed my mind in my overall rating but Matt had little control. Jiffy Lube thumbs down in the turn around with inspection. Three hrs on a new vehicle. Other then that Matt being a newbie did a awesome job! I would buy and recommend him to anyone I know!

We recently purchased a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado from this dealership. Our salesman was Jon Carpino, a wonderful salesman who shows that he truly wants to make sure you get the vehicle with the options you want and won't stop looking until he finds your vehicle. Normally it takes my husband 3-6 months to find the vehicle he wants and Jon satisfied his needs in just 2 weeks. We only own GM vehicles and it was our first time with Romeo. I would recommend Jon and the dealership (our first time buying from them) for your next purchase. They are great!

Easiest car purchase ever. Mike Casella facilitated all of our needs including great price, locating vehicle of our choice(arrived sooner than anticipated), brought vehicle to our home twice to insure it fit in our garage. Mike handled all financing, registration, etc. and we only had to sign and go. Since then, Mike has followed up to make sure we are pleased with the purchase and to see if we had any questions and has provided answers immediately.

I highly recommend Romeo car dealership. I bought my first Cruze from them in 2011 and just traded it in for a 2016 Cruze also at Romeo. I went back to Romeo because of the great care they took of my car during the time I had it. This time the salesman was Matt Lopez. Matt did a great job and helped me get the car I wanted. Matt was very professional and informative regarding my Cruze. Also Steve in finance was very helpful in getting me everything I needed. The car buying experience can be trying but not at Romeo.

I recently bought a used Jeep (2015) from Romeo as a gift for my very deserving husband, and I'm happy to give a review about my overall experience with them. Everyone that works at Romeo is very friendly and welcoming. They know how to deal with customers, and are also well aware about buyers needs. Furthermore, Scott Daniele was my sales person who helped me get through the process of buying a vehicle, taking it for a test drive, and introducing it to my husband. Appointment was set up over the phone based on my time frame very easily. Went in and talked to Anthony who was friendly, informative and efficient. We found a truck that met my requirement for both price and quality. Anthony took care of all issues such as insurance swap, registration and financing over a two day period. On the third day I picked up the truck which was ready for me right outside the door. The next day while checking out the truck I found a couple of small issues. I returned to the dealership and Anthony and the manager along with the service writer checked out my requests and immediately an apt was set up to fix them.I would recommend this dealership and Anthony to anyone looking for a new/used vehicle.

The staff at this dealership went out of their way to find the 2015 leftover Silverado with the options I was looking for. Two dealers in NJ were not very helpful so I took to the Web to look for myself. When I called Romeo Katie and Lisa were terrific and located my truck within a few days and MANY phone calls. Then Steve (#'s guy) and Dan Ferrendino took over and everything went well. I drove 87 miles from Northern NJ to get my vehicle and I would recommend the trip to anyone that is tire of the usual runaround at typical dealers.

01/08/2016 I recently purchased a new 2015 Chevrolet Silverado from Jon Block. He was great through the process and I did not feel any of that sales pressure that I worried about when shopping for a new vehicle. The negotiations were straight forward and he didn't unnecessarily waste my time. I went to Romeo with the intent to purchase a car if the numbers were right. Amy the sales lady was patient and helpful and s pleasure to deal with. I didn't need financing but they were able to get me a better rate so I took it and didn't have to do anything but wait for my new 2011 Sierra 1500 to be detailed. Great experience will definitely be recommending people to go and see her.

I recently had the pleasure of stopping at Romeo Chevrolet Buick GMC in Lake Katrine, NY. After looking at what seemed like 50-75 Sierra Pick ups I was not able to find one with an 8 foot box. My wife and I decided to go inside to see if maybe we were missing them or whether someone could help us find or order what we were looking for. We were met at the door by a very, very, helpful Amy Haubrich. After finding out the color I wanted was discontinued Amy spent quite a bit of time looking on line trying to find a truck we would like with no sucesss. Amy was not to give up and went to get her manager Jeff. He joined in the search expanding the area they normally look in and found what we were looking in Md. They agreed to go get it if the other dealer would let them have it. The truck was there a day later. On the day we were was picking it up we met Stephen Vitiello from finance who made it fast and easy explaining the paper work to us line by line. Amy My wife and I went to the vehicle. (it was already quite late seeing how I own a business and could not get there until after 7pm and closing time was 8pm) Amy spent the next 1 1/2 hours going over all the great features of my new vehicle without worrying about the time. Like all other new car dealerships you are their best friend when leasing or purchasing a new vehicle BUT when it comes to service you can see the real dealership. Sierra in Romeo is poor in regard to simple dealership service, communications with the vehicle owner, completing the service and returning the vehicle as clean as it was delivered. I had issues with the overall service provided and quality. I called the individual indicated on my receipt if there were concerns with service and never received follow-up call. I feel ignored and unimportant with this dealership. I have had issues with this dealership in multiple visits, do not trust them.

I had been looking on line for a Buick Enclave. Beth called me from Romeo Chevrolet Buick in Lake Katrine. So I made an appointment for that very afternoon. Our salesperson Randy Wilber was wonderful! The car I was looking for was in the lot. He spent so much time with us and answered all of our questions. He was so friendly and personable. Thanksgiving was the next day so we were able to pick up the car on Friday. He spent much time with us as he showed us each feature of the car. Steve Vitiello worked with us on the financing. He was also very helpful and very easy to work with.By the time we left, I felt as though we were leaving two new friends.I am enjoying my new car very much!I was very impressed by the friendliness of each person who spoke with us. I have a Chevy dealer who I've done business with for 15 years. However, they did not have a vehicle to meet my immediate need. So,I checked out the website at Romeo. Found a 2008 Impala with lower miles, for a decent price, and since I was a cash customer, I set up to go look. Test drove the car, liked it, bought it and took it home that day. After a few week, realized it desperately needed brakes, it made a clunking noise in the front, and a found A HOLE IN THE FRAME!! Made an appointment with service, and here's where the BS begins- Bill from service called me to let me know they couldn't replace the brakes until the General Manager(Joe Romeo) approved it, and he happened to be in TX!! He then INFORMED me that the clunk in the front suspension and the hole in the frame was caused because "YOU PUT YOUR CAR IN A DITCH" I adamantly denied this, as of course, I hadn't. Called my salesman, Dan F.,and he did his best to help. Had left the car Thursday evening, repairs weren't made until Monday- Brakes grind worse than before the supposed repair, since rotors were only resurfaced rather than replace, clunk is still there, despite Bill saying they couldn't find a problem and the "repair" to the frame looks like it was made by a 5 year old. Emailed Dan F. to let him know my dissatisfaction-he passed my email on to Joe Romeo,and said I'd "probably" be getting a phone call-I won't bother to hold my breath.Taking it to my mechanic tomorrow for a thorough bumper to bumper look, and contacting my lawyer to employ the Lemon Law, as I believe this car will qualify. We stopped in at Romeo's to look at a Van, loaded, low miles at a VERY COMPETITIVE PRICE.The 1st person we met was Scott Daniele (x 341). He was polite, dropped his current task, and we sat down to due business. While it was obvious that Scott was ready to due business, he never came on with a hard sell approach.It turned out the vehicle was temporarily unavailable. We set up and appointment for the next day.When we got the van my 1st concern was that it had all the features advertised. It did.Next concern was the price and financing, handled by Steve Vitiello.Steve got us a very impressive finance deal. THIS is only time I remember where our payments were LOWER than promised in the preliminary deal.

The sales person Matt Lopez and Steve Vitiello in finance are both very experience in there fields. It was a holiday weekend and there were some confusions on when the vehicle was to be delivered, which was no ones fault. There were a few things that needed to be fixed and they though that I would wait for it to be fixed before delivery which I miss spoke on, so when I called on Tuesday they made arrangements to have it ready for me on Wednesday. My whole family has purchased all our new vehicles from Matt and I would recommend him very highly.

We had never purchased a vehicle on the lease program but Brian thoroughly explained the process to us and our decision was made without hesitation. I couldnt be more impressed with the Romeo team and our sales rep Joe DaPrile. I don't live in or near Kingston, but one day we had to run errands in the area and decided to stop in GMC as I knew I'd be in the market for a new car in the fall. Joe, our sales rep was patient and really informative as we explored different options, and I found a car I loved! Neither myself nor my fiance ever had the feeling we were being "sold." Joe, along with his sales manager Mike were so helpful during the whole process. We could have gotten the same car closer to home but decided to drive well over an hour away because of the fantastic service at Romeo. I saw a car online I was interested in online , I went in an negotiated a deal and it was downhill from there .. I sat for two hours with no other explanation except I needed to wait .. I asked if I should come back because I would be transferring my plates from my old car that was sitting in the parking lot and needed to get that car home so I could bring the plates back .. Waiting waiting waiting until I finally left due to the rude financial loan officer .. He told me I got the loan but wouldn't give me any details like interest rate and refused to talk about a warranty .. He said the sales guy should have discussed it with me but didn't .. I finally walked out .. After leaving my insurance agent called and said they transferred my car insurance !!! So Without signing a thing they called my insurance company and took the insurance off the car I was driving ! BE CAREFUL WHO YOU GIVE YOUR PERSONAL INFOMATION TO !

I went to Romeo because I had seen a car on their lot that interested me. Scott was very helpful and calm. He was not pushy or agressive, but understood my situation. I realized buying a car is not an easy thing so you must have someone who can walk you tjrough the process. Romeo was a great place. It is very rare to walk into a car dealership and feel welcomed not overwhelmed! I was greeted and assisted immediately. My Sales rep was Lynne who made me feel like I was car shopping with a friend as oppose to an employee with a typical sales pitch ! My entire experience was great! Especially, considering the fact that I had no idea when I walked in I would be driving home with a brand new vehicle! Although I spent 7hrs including having dinner: compliments of Lynne, it was worth every second! Michael & Steve also played a major role in helping me achieve new car ownership. Randy Wilber and Stephen Vitiello are such an amazing team. My current vehicle had reached the end of the road on a Wednesday. I was lucky enough to use my fathers truck for a few days to finish out the work week, I went in on a Saturday at noon time to look at a used Chevy Silverado. I was very pleased with the truck after test driving it and was concerned about being it was a Saturday afternoon I wouldn't be able to bring it home with me that day. Spoke to a few dealerships on prices and did a finance review. Romeo Chevrolet Buick rep called within a short time. My 2006 Chevy Impala broke down with transmission problems within 6 months time after fixed by a local transmission company that went out of business. I spoke to rep and Dan Ferrendino about the situation and car deals I saw on line. Within the hour I was picked up at my house brought in to talk with Dan. I was interested in both the 2015 Chevy Spark and 2015 Chevy Cruze. I ended up getting the 2015 Chevy Cruze with the trade and paid the monthly payment and tags. No other amount of money down. The next day my 2006 Chevy Impala was towed from my house by Jeff at Romeo Chevrolet so no worries in how to get the car to the dealer. Since we're desperately trying to save money, I gave it a good rating, as always looking for a lower price, but can't complain. Dan is very helpful and accommodating. Would recommend Dan for your next vehicle purchase.

There service department is horrible. I had to get a starter replaced on my 99 Camaro Z28 and I requested a wheel alignment. I previously also ordered an ignition-lock -cylinder for my car. After the starter was replaced, there were grease stains all over my Camaro. There no reason for grease hand prints on the trunk of my car if they only serviced the starter. I just waxed my car before it was brought to the dealership. The service consultant told me, the part I prepaid for, was never ordered. When I asked them, can I put the deposit towards the starter and the wheel alignment, all of the sudden the part was ordered. They had hard time finding order I placed but they had no problem taking my money in advance. Than how I come my part was still not in the store? When I ordered the part, five days ago?? They advise me the ignition lock cylinder will be in the dealership within 3 days. I still felt vibration after I got wheel alignment. They told me, Your wheels are not balance. If I got the wheel Balanced, I would not a have vibration. Got the wheel balance somewhere else and still have the vibration. Supposedly they double check my alignment. I came here because my friend recommended me too. My sales consultant "Johnny" showed me that for a few more dollars I could get a great deal on a New 2014 Traverse- The rest is history.I have had the car for about a month and must say it is beyond my expectations. Johnny made things happen like, life time oil changes and a great price on side steps. Johnny has a personality that's infectious. He really got to know me and my wife's car needs and wants... We are planning to play golf together soon. I'm planning on sending friends and some family his way as it presents itself. I didn't know it was possible to walk into a auto dealership and walk out feeling that good after spending that much money. But at Romeo Auto group they show me the other side of a hassle free purchase. My sales person was Matt Lopez, very knowledgeable, he didn't try to sell me something that I didn't need or want. I told him right up front I have a budget. He found a truck that had more bang for the buck than I thought I could get for the same money at other dealerships. Our experience was a great one. Anthony was very helpful finding us something that we liked and could fit into our budget. We are pleasantly pleased with our 2015 Chevy Equinox LTZ. The sales manager Joe was also instrumental in our purchase decision. I feel that my experience went as expected. I went there to buy a (new to me) vehicle and that's what I did. It was long and exhausting but considering I was spending $40,000 I really didn't want to rush it... Everyone there was upbeat and friendly and made me feel genuinely welcome. I liked that the facility was new and smell of mold and burnt coffee like many dealerships I've been to recently. My sales guy, Josh, was great. He wasn't pushy and listened to my concerns and answered all my questions...even if that meant asking someone else if he didn't know the answer. I would recommend this dealer as it was recommended to me by a close friend.

We were trying to get out of a lease we had on an Audi Q7 because we were going to be significantly over the mileage. We were able to get onto an Enclave that we actually think is a nicer car with 3000 miles per year and save over 200 bucks per month. Our salesman Scott Daniele worked hard to get the numbers were we needed them and showed great patience with our hardlined negotiations.

Bought a 2014 Chevrolet Sonic in December. Have had a few minor issues that I shouldn't be having with a new car and the service department is horrible about keeping an appointment! I've made 3 appointments and they still don't have a lender car for me to use while they service mine. They keep trying to talk me out of a lender car which is impossible with my crazy busy schedule. Save yourself a lot of trouble and do not buy a car from this dealer! I would never ever recommend this dealership to anyone!

Once again, I worked directly with sales consultant Anthony Green who has always treated me right. Anthony respects that I come in to the dealership knowing what I want and what I'm willing to spend. Went here to lease a new car for my daughter, dissapointed with sales person attitude, trade in allowed was way below low book and trade was in very good condition. We werent told there was no cruise control on this car, and we were told by the sales person he would look into having it installed for us, never did here from him on this matter. We got an overall feeling of being screwed, not the first new car experience my daughter expected. Sales people have dollar signs in their eyes, no real concern if you are completely satisfied or not. Wont buy here again, and this was my second purchase from them. Too bad this Dealer believes the bottom line snd sales quota are most important.

First off this site will not allow you to give one star on the "overall" I had my dads truck service last year ( major headache ) Workmanship did not last a year , gas tank issue, they will not get back to you and they will not pass along comments to supervisors. Every thing seems to be a hassle for them now it's time for another inspection and a garage in sauger ties ( who we have dealt with for years and trust) tells us the job was cobbed together and needs to be done the correct way. This company will take advantage if the elderly then give you a sham story in why they did what they did. STAY FAR AWAY

I found the Corvette I was looking for on a website, called the number from the add and spoke with Beth from then on my experience with the dealership was a 10 out of a possible 10. I set up an appointment to come view the Corvette and had to drive 200 miles as I am from the Boston area everyone at the dealership was very friendly. Had the appointment with Mike Casella and he had the Corvette already detailed and set for viewing and a test drive. Everything went perfect right down to the negotiations and purchasing of the vehicle. They even offered to deliver it to my home. I have purchased a lot of vehicles in the past and I have to put this dealership at the top of the list. A++++

If you are looking for a new or used car this is the bet dealership to go to. The service is top notch. They spend plenty of time with you and do their best to help you find what you are looking for in a car. They do everything they can to help you get the best deal and terms for your car loan. They did everything for us including notifying insurance company and registering our new vehicle. Alls we had to do was sign on a few dotted lines and drive off with our new car. The dealer we had was Tom Tati III and he was excellent.

Just wanted to compare GMC, Ford and Dodge started at Romeo. They introduced me to Tom Tati in sales after telling him what I was look for he showed me a 2014 GMC with every thing I wanted plus more Tom took the time to show me every thing in the truck and how it worked. We went inside talked about price. Tom went out of his way to give me the best deal he could. I just needed time to think about it. BY the time I got home my mind was made up and the next morning I called Tom and told him I would take the truck and at that point Romeo did all the work all I had to do was come pick it up. this was a fun experience to buy my GMC. PS. never did look at the Ford or Dodge

He was very knowledgeable about the trucks we were looking at and took his time taking us for a test drive.They didn't have the particular truck we wanted so he searched around and found it for us. I purchased my new Chevy from Romeo because I had good experiences with the service department when my car needed service. I found the whole Romeo team friendly and cheerful. What really sealed the deal was the honesty of a Romeo employee. This young man backed into my car at a convenience store when I was not around. Rather than leaving he waited for me to come out and apologized then gave me his insurance information. I figured Romeo Chevy must value honesty and so far all the folks I have dealt with indicate they do. The young salesman Christian Hausermann was very helpful in finding the right car for me and even other sales folks who I met were friendly and helpful.

When my wife and I made appointment at Romeo's, we weren't sure what vehicle we wanted. We knew the options we wanted and what our budget would allow. Tony showed us different vehicles on the lot until one caught our eyes. He put plates on it so we could test drive it and explained the options. We sat down and worked numbers and came in well within our budget. When we picked up our car, Tony sat with us in the car and explained all the options again. Our Terrain is beautiful and we both love the ride and how it handles. We recommend this dealership to anyone.

I brought my car in to be serviced 3 months ago. I had an air bag fault and faulty window switch. The service department told me they would call Monday (I came in on Friday) to set up an appointment to do the repairs as they needed to send it out for some of the work. A month went by and no word from them. I called to inquire and was told they could not get a hold of the company in charge of my warranty (that they sold me, by the way!) I told them it would have been nice to receive a call letting me know what the issue was. The woman I spoke from the service department could not have cared less. I was offered no apology, nor any assurance they would get this figured out. It is now June, I brought my car for service in April, I've already called once, and still no word. I will not be buying, nor can I recommend this dealership to anyone if this is how their service department operates.

Been with this dealer ship for 18 years bought 5 vehicles threw them.Went in last month to trade my duromax in they could not get me in a 4 door 2500 hd for 42000 they could not do it ..i had to go to rhinebeck ford to get what i wanted.Glad i did service seems to be better..Know i have a 2012 malibu trying to get warranty work done on it and i have to take off of work and loose money to get it fixed........Not happy with romeo ....sow much for loyalty meaning something with these guys.....

We saw a 2014 Equinox on the lot and went in the next day for a test drive. Our salesmen, Dan Ferrendino was very professional and knowledgeable. He answered any questions we had and explained the benefits of leasing. We would gladly recommend Dan and Romeo to our friends and family. It was a great experience dealing with this dealership. We love our new 2014 Chevy Equinox.

Spent half the day negotiating price and felt trade in offer for my car was a joke! In the end I was happy with pricing of car. Have called a few times and left voicemails for someone issues with car purchased from Romeo. Have not received a call or email back. Once you sign and leave they are NOT helpful. Vey disappointed with finance dept. I had plenty of $ in account to write big check for down payment. I ended up splitting down payment 3 different ways to help them out. Really? Also was not given correct info on how to obtain registration in different state and had to make a couple of trips to my DMV. Happy with car and internet sales people were awesome but the dealership as a whole- wouldn't go again.

What else can I say? These guys were great!! lol - Its was worth the drive up to Kingston. I have been wanting a GMC Acadia for a while now. I started my search on Cars.com but quickly realized I just couldn't afford a new one. I found several used ones and visited two other dealerships near me before buying mine from Romeo. Lisa, the interent manager, Anothony the salesman and George the business manager were all a pleasure to work with. (Not your typical Car Salespeople..) Not only did I get a much nicer, cleaner (inside and out) Acadia, the one I bought was less money, newer with less miles on it and it was CERTIFIED with a warranty - unlike the ones I drove at the other dealerships. If your online searching for a new or used car, I would Definitely Recommend you call Lisa at Romeo before you buy anything.. Thank you Lisa and everyone at Romeo, see you for my free oil change - I will bring the bagels. lol

Our salesman Tony Spada exceeded our expectations when we visited Romeo Chevrolet! We had first purchased a used 2010 Chevy Silverado and from start to finish Tony provided amazing service. Not only was he great during the purchasing of the vehicle he continued to follow up with my husband to ensure the vehicle was to his liking. Less then one month later we returned to Romeo to lease a 2014 Chevy Malibu. He again provided great service every step of the way. He has great attention to detail and goes above and beyond to make the process easy and seamless. I have purchased both new and used vehicles from other dealer's and no ones service has ever compared to Tony's. My husband and I both were very impressed with his professionalism! We definitely recommend him if you are looking for a dealer and salesman to work with!

Earlier today I stopped in the Buick showroom ,Kingston, to inquire about a 2013 Lacrosse on the website.A saleswoman came out and I told her what I was interested in. She said lets go to the other building, Chevy, where they will have the info. She went into the back of the showroom and returned a few minutes later. She said someone would be right out to help me and answer questions. After 10 minutes no one approached me and I decided there must be no interest and left. This is no way to treat a potential customer. I guess their ads of wanting to be helpful are not true.

Each staff member my husband and I met were extremely friendly and helpful. The salesman was very knowledgeable and personable. When it came to working out our monthly payments, the new car sales manager listened to our needs and concerns and worked very hard to make sure our needs were met.

I went there after seeing a convertible online and at a great price. Since it was 100 miles away from home after a productive test-drive and underneath inspection I made an offer I was happy with and they accepted. I was very happy as they took care of about 5 minor dings and scratches and made the 3 year old car look new. When I went to pickup the car about 10 days later I noticed a tiny scratch I had missed on original inspection. They offered to repair as well but it would need to keep it another day. As it was again another 100 mile 1 way trip I offered to get it repaired elsewhere for $100. I got it repaired and they mailed the check. I was very happy with the service Tim and the rest of the staff at Romeo gave me.Ronald Weideman

Excellent used car buying experience, starting with Beth via the internet all the way through resolving a small issue with Joe on the day of my scheduled pick up. My sales consultant, Nick, went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with all aspects of the sale. If I received this type of service on a purchase of a used vehicle that they sold at a rock bottom price, I can only image what you get on a new car sale. They all work well together to make it a positive buying experience where youll come back again or recommend them to a friend. Highly recommended.

We are most impressed with the new dealership site and were welcomed warmly and promptly. We met our sales rep, Nick Gruccio, and he guided us through our request to look at, drive, and then purchase the new 2014 Buick Encore.Nick served us efficiently with all of the information we needed to make our purchase and he located the car that met our needs and preferences. In addition, Geoff Van Dyke helped us through the cash purchase process with ease. On our pickup day, both Nick and Geoff worked through the process smoothly. Thank goodness for Nick's expertise in teaching us about all of the gadgetry and technology in the Encore. Previously my husband purchased a GMC truck from another dealership but needed a repair because of a recall and was able to go to ROMEO, which is closer to home. He was very pleased with the service and hospitality, better then previous dealer.This experience lead us back to purchase my Equinox and was very satisfied with our deal. I believe everyone was very honest and helpful in processing our purchase. I would certainly return when looking for my next vehicle. Tom Tatti was most pleasant and helpful.

I entered the dealership looking for a Chevrolet that was economical to drive, and a manual transmission. My salesman Tony Spada directed me toward the Cruze, Sonic,and Spark. After test driving each model I decided upon a Spark. Tony was of great assistance helping me choose the options and color I wanted. I found the purchase of my Spark to be a positive experience, and would seek out the assistance of Mr. Spada for future purchases.

We arrived at the dealership after seeing an ad in the newspaper. Typically, there is a discrepancy between the advertised price and what actually happens when you choose your vehicle. Not the case this time. We were given what we expected for our trade, and left with the price we wanted to pay. Our salesperson, Mick Whitman, was honest, knowledgable, fair, and never pushy. Salesman was excellent. Had some issues which were addressed promptly. The only issue which I had was that I wanted to get my own plates to save money and they repeatedly told me there was no charge that the plates were the same price as the motorvehicles. When I received the final bill I noticed the 75.00 charge for the motor vehicles. I asked the finance manager about it and he said that it was included in the price on all the vehicles. I'm very unhappy with this charge and the way that it was snuck into the final price!

I was immediately turned over to a very effective and personable young sales consultant, Nick Gruccio. He stayed on point while maintaining a congenial manner and conversation. His sales style was very focused on my needs and he acquired the information needed with sincerity - no small fete in today's very competitive market. I purchased the car I wanted and felt supported in every step of the process by his steady and insightful manner. Roy was very patient with me. I had a top price that I would pay (in my head) and we were back and forth for 2 weeks. He was always polite and always friendly. He even let me take my Shih-Tzu on the test drive which was a BIG deal to me! He held him on his lap. We own 5 - well, now SIX chevrolets and I will most definitely recommend ROMEO and Roy LaRocco to my friends and family. And a bottle of Chardonnay - classy move! Thank you.

My experience with Romeo Chevrolet and Sales Rep Matt Lopez was pleasant. I spent about two months considering my optionsand evaluating other cars at other dealers. During this time I had 5 or 6 interactions with Matt Lopez. He was helpful answeringmy questions and of course tried to convince me to buy the Cruze I had test driven but without pressure or annoying calls. After my evaluation of other cars and prices I decided that Romeo was where I wanted to buy my new car. Called my salesmen, Tony Spada, and told him what car I was looking for and what options I wanted. Later on the next week Tony arrived at my job to show me a car that fit my requirements. I loved the car and it was everything I wanted and more. I took delivery on 9/16 without any issues. Tony has even contacted me on various occasions to be sure I was happy with the purchase. Every one at the dealership has been professional and courteous which has made for an excellent experience. I would recommend this dealership to anyone, and if you are looking for an A+ salesmen ask for Tony Spada.

I came from out of town about a hour and half away. I saw a car I was very interested in went down and test drove it. That experience was okay I left my information with them to see what they would offer me. Didn't hear back for a couple days so I called them and wasn't happy with the offer. This went back and forth a couple times (mostly me calling). finally they gave me some reasonable numbers so I traveled back down to finalize the deal. when I got there they said they were having computer problems and it might be a while of course I decided to wait as I had just traveled down there and was in need of a new vehicle because my other car was totaled in a accident. Hours went by with me taking care of insurance things and asking if there was anything I could do, things that should of been done by them!! So I decided to see what was in the area came back a hour later still no computers but they said it shouldn't be long to wait. Two hours later finally the computers were back up I met with the financial person they had all the numbers wrong failed to tell me I need a cashiers check, thankfully my bank was in the area. I signed the papers cause I just wanted to get the heck out of there and I was already late to work. So my experience was awful no body apologize offered any kind of refreshments or anything. I left crying and very unsatisfied, the worst 5 hours of my life!!!!!!

I purchased a cert-pre owned 2011 GMC Acadia Denali from these guys and must say- what a stand up crew! Im not new to the vehicle market and am well aware of the complications it presents and how it is important for the buyer to have their ducks in a row; so I went in with my guard up. That was until Tim Dabrowski began walking me through this sale. Him and his staff were determined to please the customer and we're quick to address any issues and provide customer friendly solutions to whatever problems and complications that were identified. Even in the following weeks after my purchase (being a NY resident, who currently is stationed active duty Air Force in NC) Tim was prompt to stay in touch and answer any questions in regards to my new vehicle. It wasnt your typical sale, one that left me, the customer, insecure once the deal was made. Romeo Chevy was interested in my satisfaction until the very end. I was very impressed and would recommend.

I had researched mid-sized SUV's and found the Romeo dealership on the internet. I visited their site last Friday, the 16th of August to check their hours. While checking, a coupon for $100. appeared with a note if I scheduled a test drive , the coupon would be doubled. I received a call from the dealership within 10 minutes of applying. I hadn't entered a specific time. I explained my husband and I would be there within an 1 1/2 hours.. I was given a name to ask for when we arrived.When we arrived, (approx. 10:30), the person, (Steve), was on the phone, Rather then hold us up, another gentleman, (Drew) assisted us. I explained I was interested in test driving the Chevy Equinox. He asked several questions which in the long run, made our time there shorter than necessary.By asking the color and what I would like to have in the vehicle, he found exactly what I wanted. Steve was off the phone and came over to introduce himself. He said he would leave us in Drew's hands but since Drew was a 'rookie', we should ask for Steve, if necessary.I explained that the bigger issue was that my husband would be comfortable in it and also be able to drive it in comfort. During the road test, I mentioned I was wary of the 4 cylinder not having enough power or pick up getting onto highways. Well, Drew made sure all items were covered during the road test.After road test, we went back to dealership and discussed the next issue (leasing). Drew answered our questions and found Chris (lease guru). This was to make us feel at ease and have our answers from the expert. Steve stopped by again to make sure we were okay.Made the decision to go for the lease. Gave me insurance information and went over some forms. It was suggested we go for lunch (great idea) and all the paper work and car would be ready upon our return.We got back early and Drew took us over to service to schedule my first oil change and introduce me to service department. Now I won;t feel like a "rookie" when I need to go to service.Now we meet George who went over all paperwork explaining each form, making suggestions on some packages available to me. DID NOT try to sell me each package!Now we are done, Drew comes over to take me to vehicle and explain all the buttons and knobs, as well as location of major items(lights, wipers, etc.). We get outside and ALL 4 gentlemen are there. Congratulating us and shaking hands.WOW!! Paper work done and they still care! Not many dealerships are like that!Drew was extremely thorough in explaining. He wasn't sure on everything, didn't try to mask it. Steve was right there to take over.A very pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend Romeo dealership to everyone.

Kevin called me about a month ago. He wanted to show me some used cars. I had purchased a 2008 Buick from Romeo two years ago.Kenin showed me a few cars and we even took one for a ride. I wasn't excited. We walked around the lot until he showed me a 2007, Mustangconvertable. He was very patient with me for the next week while I got my ducks in a row. I had to check my insurence rate, I had to find someplace to store it for the winter, and how I wanted to pay for it.I think he was a little relieved when I put a down payment on it. kevin and his support crew were all wonderful to me. I went to several dealerships. The people here were informative, and kind. They really workered hard! I had many questions and many different requests. They showed me everything I asked to see and ran prices every way I asked. The car we bought was the same price as another car we looked at else where. We ended up choosing Romeo Chevrolet BECAUSE of Antony and Nick. I wanted to work with them and not the salesperson at the other dealer. I would return there in a heartbeat and will pass along to anyone looking. My dad was right to send me here as he really liked working with this dealership in the past.Thank you guys!!!

My husband and myself have had a truly wonderful experience in purchasing our new suburban from the Romeo Dealership. From the initial call we place to the dealership to the final purchase of our car we were treated with the utmost professionalism. Bought a pre -owned Acura TL type s from this guys, text drove it and everything looked fine, couldn't take the car home the same day because they had to replace rotors and pads so they where kind enough to deliver the car to me. After receiving the car I noticed they only replace front rotors and a violent vibration under braking, did some research and and this could be cause for replacing brake parts with none oem cheap partrs .called the sales man who said he would get back to me. 3 month has pass and I still have the vibration and still waiting for that call and just notice some clear coat pealing from the quarter panel.

After having numerous issues with this dealership in the past they have worked hard to redeem themselves. Joe Romeo, the owner, personally handled my issues and put me in the car that I initially thought I could not afford. Michael Glosque finalized the sale with me and spent about an hour going over the all the "bells and whistles" with my new GMC Acadia Denali. I can't say enough on how professional he was and the time he spent with me was invaluable. If you ever go to Romeo GMC go see Michael Glosque.

Everything was professional from the minute I got a call from the internet sales department right up to delivery of the truck. Although the vehicle we had came to look at had been sold earlier that morning, Michael found a very satisfactory substitute. After a lengthy test drive on the highway, rural roads & bumpy roads we were convinced we had made the right choice by coming to Romeo Chevrolet. The delivery went as planned. A smooth transaction.

the first day with the car i had a little trouble the hose came off the turbo charger vacuum in my 2013 chevy cruze , but they took the car right in the next morning put me in a rental car and took care of it quickly. I would reccomend anthony, the cruze and also romeo chevrolet.

My husband and I had the best truck purchasing experience ever. We went to Romeo Chevrolet with the intention on buying a used Chevy Silverado . We drove off the lot in a brand new truck . The staff worked really hard to make the numbers work for us and the numbers worked out great to fit our budget. Words cannot even describe how thankful I am for the full attention that I recieved from Chris Maher at Romeo . My first words to him were " I need a miracle". I walked in not knowing what I even wanted and left with EXACTLY what I wanted. Chris's questions helped me to narrow down my car needs, likes, dislikes and budget. He treated me like a person versus just a "sale" which, unfortunately, is rare these days. At the time I was just looking to see what was out there on the market for used Silverado's and not 100% sure if I was ready to buy. I was greeted by Michael Block who asked all the right questions and gave all the right answers. He didn't push anything on me that I didn't want and it was almost like talking to/buying a truck from an old buddy even though we never met. He eventually narrowed down a used Silverado with almost all the options I requested and set up a test drive on the spot. He was able to get me more for my trade in and work with me on the price of the Silverado so the payments were at a comfortable level. Geoff Van Dyke did he work quickly and I was in the truck in 2 days. My cousin bought a brand new Sierra and Terrain there and recommend me to Romeo and in turn, they gave him a check for $100 so they take care of all their customers, old and new. I experienced some electrical issues with the truck over the winter time but the service department, specifically Joe Huettinger took good care of the truck and they were able to quickly correct it under warranty and put me in a brand new GMC Terrain fully loaded loaner car for no additonal cost. Based on what Joe told me needed to be done as far as diagnosis, theses guys are pros. I worked for a near by Chrysler dealership for years and never saw the level of professionalism or service there as I did at Romeo. I'm hoping my wife wants to trade in her car soon because i'm looking foward to doing business with Romeo again. I definately recommend Romeo to anyone looking for a vehicle, especially a truck.

I visited Romeo Chevrolet for a couple of reasons one to have my 2008 Avalanche Serviced and second to speak to a former student athlete Mike Glosque who is now working for Romeo Chevrolet. When I arrived i seen Mike and expressed to him I had been looking to trade my vehicle in for a new one the same color but 2013. Mike did some research and found out 2013 Avalanche Black Diamond addition comes in limited colors, he also arranged for a test drive of the vehicle available on the lot. After the test drive and having my 2008 appraised Mike and his boss made me an offer for which we haggled about for a while and eventually with the discounts and other incentives we came to an agreement. So far I am very pleased and would like to thank Mike and Romeo Chevrolet for their efforts this far.

I can't say enough about this dealership. The service is second to none. I'd also like to take a moment to comment on one of their Sales Consultants, Jeff Reopell. Unlike what we are typically accustomed to when it comes time for a purchase, Jeff really takes the time to listen, understand a person's needs and concerns. Working with my wife and I he formulated what has been an excellent solution for us. We've replaced our 2011 Acadia with a 2013 Acadia. Jeff gave us an option that saves us several hundred a month in payments over what we were originally paying. Putting the customer first in many businesses has been a thing of the past. Not at the Romeo dealership however. I can't say enough and would definately recommend that anyone looking for a vehice stop by and see Jeff. When they say "We sell cars,,, Family Style" they really mean it. Jeff is a sterling example!

Stay away from this dealer! I ordered a new Buick Enclave with a 4,500 lb. factory installed towing package and received an Enclave with a maximum 2,000 lb. towing capacity. The result my being unable to tow my fishing boat, which is in excess of 2,000 lb's. I wouldn't trust this dealer under any circumstances.

Upon arriving at Romeo Chevrolet Buick GMC I was greeted by salesman Michael Glosque. He was extremely kind and helpful. He answered any and all questions I had about the different vehicles on the lot. Michael address my concerns about buying a vehicle and really helped me through the process. I was reluctant to travel so far to buy a car, however Jennifer in internet sales was very persistent. I'm very glad she was able to convince us to come take a look at the Certified Chevy Tahoe they had for sale. The sales consultant was a pleasure to work with. Matt wasn't pushy and invested a lot of time reviewing all the features and taking us for a test ride. I had been looked for a long time for a 2010 Tahoe LTZ with the mileage and price I needed. This find was a homerun.... low mileage and a fantastic price. Not only was the price fantastic, but George in finance was able to get me an incredibly low finance rate. I thought I had found a great rate, but he beat it by a quarter percent. After the sale, they followed up with a call to ask if everything was OK and to make sure I was happy with my purchase. Every employee that we encountered at Romeo was very friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure doing business with them. It was a bit out of my way, but I would definetely prefer to buy my next car from Romeo. I highly recommend this dealership.

After car shopping from place to place I finally ended up at romeo Chevy Buick gmc after hearing alot of positive things said about them from my friends and family. When I got there a very friendly salesperson named Scott Lam greeted me. He then showed me around the dealership and asked me a few questions regarding what my auto needs were to ensure I got the perfect vehicle . He then showed me a few vehicles that fit the description of what I needed and showed me a few different cars to choose from. He took the time to show me the features and fit it within my budget with no pressure and I took delivery of my car that same day!! When we got to the dealership, we thought we wanted to see a Buick Enclave. Our salesman was Mike Palladino, and he showed us one, but when we looked, we realized it was too big. Mike asked if he could show us another vehicle, and pretty soon we were driving a GMC Terrain. We fell in love with the car, but partly because Mike was so knowledgeable about it, its safety ratings and its performance. He would point out features as we were driving that we would not have noticed right away (handling, noise reduction, etc.) which simply reinforced our impression. Once back at the dealership, he helped us come to terms with the price. We traded two cars and Mike offered to come to our house (50 miles from the dealership) to pick one of them up. It was a huge help to us, since my husband no longer drives. All though the process, he has been friendly, reliable, and helpful. We totally enjoyed dealing with him and would go back for another car when and if the occasion occurs. I've already recommended him to one of my friends.

Willing to Work Things Out! I am writing this review to say that this Dealership is willing to work things out. I am the writer of the post titled ****POOR*****SALES***SERVICE*****POOR***TIRRIBLE after a few emails I have come to the conclusion that the people at Romeo are willing to work with the customer to get problems resolved. I was very upset when I wrote this review to the point that I couldn't even spell the word Terrible as you can see in the post. Sometimes we let our emotions get the best of us. The people at Romeo state that they really did not mean for the ordeal to have such a bad outcome. I believe them they have been working feverously to resolve the issue. People make mistakes and everyone deserves another chance I would recommend this dealer I look forward to going there enjoy the true family dealership experience that they are famous for.

I had an appointment with a salesmen, he called me as I was halfway through my 45 min. drive and told me that the car was not ready and we needed to re-schedule, I got a call at work saying the car was ready and that if I do not see it now it would be after the Christmas holidays, so I drove that 45 min. ride again and when I got there me and my wife stood around for 20 min. waiting on a salesmen. we went to look at the car on our own and when we looked at it the car was not as it was advertised. I was told that the car was white and that it contained all the features I needed. The car did not have the features I needed and it was bronze. After calling from my cell phone back into the dealership from the parking lot I was told that a salesmen was on his way and to wait for him. I had waited enough and lied to enough *********DO NOT BELIEVE THESE PEOPLE*************** Sae yourself time and money buy your car somewhere else.

I bought a truck from this dealer after dealing with the rude sales manager i took the truck home and one week later it had issues. I brought the truck into service and i recieved no loaner car and it needed just one part which took over a week for them to get done. My service advisor was ED who was extreamly rude to me. After i brought the truck home i found out it had the same issues it went in with. I would never go back or recommend that anyone go here very rude people and terrible customer service.

I have never had such a wonderful experience at a car dealer. I was looking for Truck for my husband, we had been looking for months and just couldn't find the right fit. I first spoke to Jeff on the phone and he was exceptional helpful and we made an appointment to met the next day. After ten minutes Jeff was able to find the perfect Truck for us! It was amazing, but I didn't want to get my hopes up, we still need to make sure the finalizing worked. Again Jeff impressed me, it was only a day later that he called us to say that everything was all set, the cost of the Truck was cheaper then I asked for, the monthly payments were cheaper then asked for, the down payment was exactly what was talked about. I will never use an other dealer again. PS, there lounge is amazing, even through I didn't get to spend much time in there. I would highly recommend visiting Jeff at Romeo for you next vehicle.

I went to Romeo because my old car had died and I needed a vehicle as soon as possible. As I walked around the lot Mike met me and started to show me all that they had. They were the only dealership that I had been to with low mileage used cars and trucks that were in very good shape. I was able to test drive all the trucks that I wanted to until I finally settled on a 2006 GMC Canyon. Mike helped me get a GREAT trade in value for my car and a very reasonable price for my new truck. They knew that I needed the truck right away so they filed all the paperwork and I was able to drive the tuck off the lot that night. Both Mike Palladino and Chris Ransford did a lot to help me get the right truck for the right price. I would highly recommend this dealership and both of these salesmen.

I have bought four cars in the past six years. 3 from colonial subaru and my most recent from romeo chevrolet. The thing i most remember about jeff our salesman is his confidence. He was sure he could sell us a car in our price range that we wanted and would be hapy with. and by the end of the morning he did just that. we drove home in a 2008 jeep patriot at the price we were looking for. Jeff did a good job of getting us what we wanted without coming off as a "pushy" salesman. Geoff from finance was also great to work with.

Mike was extremely helpful, he got me the vehicle I wanted for a great price! The purchase of my vehicle was amazingly fast compared to my prior experiences. Mike was able to get the bank approval very fast and get the vehicle delivered to me even faster! With a baby on the way and a need for a larger vehicle, Mike did a great job at being timely, while getting me the best deal possible. I would definitely recommend Romeo to a friend and especially salesman Mike Palladino!

I got my first used car from this dealership. I went to prestige hyundai of kingston before this and had a horrible experience. My salesman Martin Dunkley was very friendly, polite and had my best interest at heart. I had an issue with the cd player after I bought it and they were more than willing to fix it at no cost to myself. Great experience, Wonderful salespeople.

My experience with this dealership started late Thursday evening, but we got the ball rolling, settled on a price and proceeded with the purchase. We asked for a car fax report and one was given to us without any delay, however, there was an accident reported on the 2006, $21,000, chevy avalanche we were trying to buy. All the report said was that a collision was reported, with a state agency, in a different county and a case # was assigned to it. I asked for them to look further into this, and we set an appointment up to pick the car up on saturday morning, pending the results of the accident report. Then, Saturday came and Phil (the used car manager) stepped into the picture, when asked about the accident on the car fax, Phil's response was,"I have been doing this for 20 years and have never had to call a municipality about an accident on a car fax report", then I asked for a copy of the repair order (so I could see what the dealership had fixed) Phil came back with a hand written list of things that were "fixed", he said he couldn't print the order out for some reason, but the work was done to the car. I then decided not to pick the car up that day, I told them i would be back on Monday to take the car to my mechanic to have it looked at for body repair. Monday morning i show up to take the car and it is in the shop...having the work that was supposedly done on it before saturday done on it. When I questioned why the car was in there, Phil told me they were balancing the tires...so I questioned if he is balancing the tires why are all the tires laying on the ground, the hood is up, and the tech is working on the back door that was supposed to be fixed on saturday when I came to pick up the car. I said it looks alot to me like he is doing all the work that you told me was done already. It then was clear me that this was not the dealership for me, I did not pick up the truck, and will not return to that dealership for anything...ever. I will, however, explain to anyone that asks my about my experience there why they should not deal with romeo chevy. All in all a huge disappointment and a very unprofessional dealership that is clearly your stereotypical used car dealer.

Had a HORRIBLE experience with this dealership. After setting up a time to test drive a car and traveling an hour from Albany, I was stiffed by the original salesman I had the appointment with. Then to top it all off they failed to mention they ALREADY SOLD THE VEHICLE! Needless to say I WON'T BE DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM.... EVER! Thanks for wasting my time!!!!

I love my car and chris was great. However when I went to pick up my car I discovered that the drivers side visor mirror was badly cracked. When I called for service I was told it was not covered under any of the warrebties I purchased for my car. I was very disappointed by this as well as the fact that a tire light came on three days after I bought it. I expected to get a car that would not need any immediate work and instead I had two separate issues in only a few days. I brought my frustration to the attention of several employees who said they were sorry but did not offer me any solutions to my problems. I was disappointed by the service I received once the sale was complete.

Our experience the day we picked up the car was bad. We were kept waiting til after 7 p.m., never got to meet with the Credit Mgr. Mr.Vandyke, the salesman Mr. Reopell didn't have time for us either and turned us over to a man who knew nothing about the deal to sign the paperwork. One document said the car had been a rental car which we had not been told in advance and another said we were being charged about $600. for a protective spray another surprise. Even though we were trading in a vehicle financed through a lender we expected to use again they sent the application to 6 lenders which caused unnecessary inquiries on my credit report which dropped my credit score by 9 points overnight. Even though they could have corrected this they refused and a letter to the owner Joe Romeo went unanswered. On top of all this the car needed a new transmission within two months and has to have two tires replaced. They don't care and the attitude runs right from the top down to every employee we came in contact with.

They used high pressure tactics and are not accurate on their figures. I wonder if it is because I was a women. Is there any check with GM to make sure new sales and trade in values are consisten with men and women.

We live in Ringwood ,New Jersey and needed a new car quickly. After researching we decided on an AWD Buick Lacrosse. A friend who also lives in North Jersey recommended Romeo Buick located 80 miles from our home. He leased a Regal from Romeo in June 2011 and was extremely happy with not only his treatment from the sales staff (Mike Block) but also from Lucia Romeo- the general manager. Nevertheless, we politely told him that in no way would we travel 80 miles for a car. We negotiated with a local Buick dealer and emphasized the urgency for a car. That deal fell apart after not hearing from them in two days and leaving messages with the sales consultant. On Friday (3/23) our persistent friend contacted Romeo and spoke to Lisa Elder informing her that we would like a car- but needed to be convinced to travel 80 miles. Would she make it worth the trip for us? Lisa responded (without missing a beat or pause) that We deliver ! She stated that they have delivered cars to PA and Delaware. What can only be defined as incredible customer service, Lisa Edler and Mike Block were able to put together a terrific package that was more favorable than the NJ Buick dealer. We had the car on Monday (3/26) and did not need to make the 80 mile trip ! Mike drove the car to Oakland DMW where we met him. Many people have shared their positive experiences on this site regarding Romeo Buick. These people work hard for your business. Romeos motto is We sell cars Family Style. We can attest that Romeos staff truly values their customers and is sensitive to their needs. Also, they have an excellent easy web site to navigate with only one small recommendation that is missing. They should add- We deliver- Literally We Deliver !! I would not recommend this dealership. I had purchased a used car there and when I had it inspected by my mechanic He discovered a leaking axle. This right after it went thru the dealership's service Dept. When the vehicle was returned for repairs they said the seal was not leaking is was just wet. Laughable huh? Anyway so it's either a small claims action or I just eat the bill for repairs. that's my problem not yours. But I do know many people and I will pass the word on my experiences at this place. That is the best way to deal with poor service.

Purchased a used car from Romeo Chevrolet. Used car manager told us and I quote "this car needed nothing, all we did to it was an oil change" On the way home from picking up the car from the dealer found the drivers side mirror did not work properly. I stopped and filled it with gas and put the car in the garage. Went out to the garage later that night and the garage was full of gas fumes. I pulled the car out of the garage and the next morning there was a large puddle of gas underneath the car. Called the dealer, they came and picked up the car. After two weeks in the shop, they finally finished the car. On the way home, the oil light came on, which kind of made me wonder if they really did an oil change. Purchased oil and filter drained the oiland it did not look like oil that only was in an engine for less than 200 miles. The oil filter (cartridge type) also did not look to new. Drove the car for a week, filled it with gas and now the fuel gauge goes to goes to 3/4 of a tank and takes about 20 minutes to go the full. I bought the car back to the dealer and they told me this was "normal". I've yet to drive a car with a fuel gauge that operates like that. Car also has a leaking valve cover gasket but I was told that's not covered under warranty. So be careful before you buy a used car from this dealer. Your best bet is the have your own mechanic check it out before you give them a check.

The Romeo dealership in Kingston is not only the most attractive dealership in Ulster county and the surrounding area, it is filled with a competent sales force who all were eager and excited to find me the perfect car to fit my needs and my budget. Each individual I worked with proved to me that customer service is their number one priority. In addition, each person was knowlegable in the information they gave and each one of them put forth tremendous effort to ensure I was able to drive off in my new (used) car. Their level of professionalism and customer service far surpasses any other dealership I have visited in the past. Would I recommend this dealership to others? Not only would I recommend it, I will make it a personal mission to spread the word about how incredible Romeo in Kingston is! It is easy to see why they are a driving force in the dealership world! Quite honestly, the other dealerships should just close their doors... Now that I've had this experience at Romeo, I will never shop for another car anywhere else.

Never before have I ever experienced such caring individuals who are in the business of selling cars. They took an immediate interest and offered to rectify the situation to my complete satisfaction. Very friendly dealer - demo of car - paper work - and cleaning the car for pick up - all top shelf - One value this dealer gives is their charge for "prep - dock - paper etc. it is only $ 75.00 and an inspection fee of $ 21.00 -- I called many dealers in NY & NJ -- their "prep - dock - paper fee ran $ 350 - 375.00 total rip off -- In 2007 I paid a $ 300.00 fee and a friend in 2009 paid a $ 350.00 fee ( in NY )-- So you can you can save $ 275.00 by working with Romero -- also they are open on the price of their cars and offered to email directions to there location -- I am very happy with the car/price & paperwork all no pressure -- give Scott a try -- Nick

Stay away from this dealer wont stand behind sale. Purchessed a 2004 chevy smelled bad and thay ripped roof liner and refuesed to fix it.Wind sheild wipers falling offi replaced myself how it got inspected i dont know Brake lite were out.So i say do not go to Romeo chevy and do not trust anything thay say.

I purchased a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro at Romeo Cars. Since I live in Europe and had it imported to my country, it was for sure not a common job for them to get all the customs declarations and paperwork done. Nevertheless, I was always up to date according to the status of my car and Lisa was very helpful and friendly. After I received the car, Mr. Romeo (owner) wrote me an email to ask if I was happy with my purchase. Overall I can really recommend this dealer, they sure give you a feeling of being a welcome customer. Thanks!

Who are these people? Their motto is .. "We sell cars.....Family style!!! Their mantra is "We want you to be Happy." Their motto and mantra are true to their word. Walk into Romero dealership and you'll see one car on the show room floor. The store is an open space with all the employees and owner's daughter (Lucia) visible to each other. They are waiting for their new facility to be built- but I liked the equalitarian feel of the space. It had a folksy feel. The staff was friendly and greeted everyone that walked in. I traded in my car- leased a Buick Regal and traveled 60 miles from Bergen County, NJ. There were some minor bumps in the negotiations but everything worked out well.Micahel Block the sales associate was extremely helpful. He returned calls and texts and with the help of Luicia finalized a deal convincing enough for me to travel the 60 miles from Jersey. I used Truecar.com and Edmund's car forums as research tools for negotiations. Truecar.com connected me with four Buick Dealerships. Three in Jersey and Romeo in Kingston, NY. Initially I had a deal with McGuire Buick (NJ) and when it came time to sign the contract they had changed the mileage from 12k to 10k a year. Needless to say- I walked out. In the meanwhile I was also receiving calls from Romeo. When the deal fell through with McGuire they offered to meet the original terms and price. Now here's the kicker! After working the numbers with my trade in- they actually corrected a sales tax error on my trade in and came in with a cheaper monthly payment ($12). It was worth the trip.I love the car. Pete Dockery was wonderful in explaining all the features and setting-up On Star. Very knowledgeable about the features. He took his time and you did not feel he rushed through the process.In my experience- in the last two years I purchased and/or leased eleven cars for family and friends (who hate or fear dealerships) Romeo has to be one of the hardest working dealerships to earn your business and trust. Do the research-never accept any dealers first offer but keep these people in mind. Keep in mind that you will need to make a trip to the NJ DMV to pick-up plates- or you can wait for DMW to mail them to Romeo and have them mail them to you.

After doing much research while looking for a used minivan, I found a Toyota Sienna at Romeo that I was interested in. It was a nice vehicle at a fair price. I was very interested and ready to buy. I probably would have purchased the vehicle had a few red flags not gone off during the sales pitch. First of all, the offer on my trade in was insulting. Granted, it was a VERY used 11 year old minivan with high miles. I didn't expect to get much for it. I was offered $100. Blue book for a trade in, with that amount of miles in fair condition $2450. I didn't expect that much, but I certainly expected more than $100. I was told the offer was so low for two reasons, one - it would cost them $300 just to get rid of it. Really? A used car, in decent running condition, and you would have to pay to have it removed? My father removed MANY junk cars for many years. Not only did he pay people for the cars, he also made a profit when he took them to the junk yard. The second reason, because the Sienna was several thousand dollars below book value, they really couldn't take more off the price by giving me more on my trade in. What? The price of the new vehicle and the value of the trade in are mutually exclusive. What if I had brought in a trade worth $15,000? Could I expect to be offered $500 just because they had a fair price on a new vehicle. The next red flag was the price. As I said, I had done much research. The internet price was $23,299. When we sat down, I was told they "just" reduced the price the day before from $24,700. Bull. I had been looking at the van online for days at the "just reduced" price of $23,299. Needless to say, they couldn't go up on my trade in or down on the price. Still, the asking price was fair. As I said, it was a nice vehicle. I had test drive at another dealership scheduled for that day. I decided to go to the other dealership before making my decision. The second dealership offered me $1000 for my trade, and came down on their more than fair asking price. I called Romeo back, as agreed, to discuss my options. I was still leaning toward purchasing the Sienna from Romeo before I made the call. I was told they could match the trade in offer, possibly even double it. Really? You could have saved me a long drive and made a sale an hour ago. However, the warranty at the second dealership was much better and I didn't like the vibe I got at Romeo. The more I thought about it, the more I felt like I must have had MORON stamped across my head when I walked in there.

I met Mr. Block as I was doing the internet research to purchase my new GMC Terrain. I had many dealerships call me, I visited quite a few. At the time he contacted me I was seriously considering to do business with another dealership. He immediately offered me a very competitive price and not only that he was very friendly. I loved the fact that he was honest, kept the business deal. The team in the dealership was also excellent. Everyone was super nice and up front about things. The trade in value of my car was very fair. I would highly recommend this dealership for their commitment to providing excellent service to the customer! I am very happy with the experience!

ASKING PRICE WAS $1000.00 OVER ASKING PRICE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. THE CAR WAS LISTED ON LINE FOR $1000.00 LESS THAN THE PRICE THAT WAS GIVEN TO ME. ALSO THE CAR WAS LISTED WITH 700 MILES LESS ON LINE. THE CAR HAD 700 MILES MORE ON IT WHEN IT WAS SOLD TO ME. FROM MY POINT OF VIEW ON THIS DEALERSHIP, BUYERS BEWARE OF THIS PLACE.
