All the Staff at Ron Tonkin were awesome to deal with. They were personable without being too over the top, respectful, and the MOST important... they were upfront and honest. I had recently visited another Chevy dealership to buy a car and the staff were pushy, shady, and disrespectful when I decided to walk away from their "deal". I got an even better deal at Ron Tonkin, and they explained every detail to me. Best car buying experience I've ever had. Thank you!

It was great service. I purchased my car from this dealer and was less than satisfied with the sale. I had my first oil change at different dealer and when they were done I was satisfied. When I got home and oil was dripping out of the truck. My first thought was that this dealer had spilled some oil and it was dripping off the frame. The oil leak continued and I took the truck in to have the oil leak fixed. The service manager told me it was the cover over the oil filter was loose and all they needed to do was to tighten it, he was less than truthful as I was under the truck and there was not a cover over the oil filter. They said they got it fix and I took my car home and it started to leak again. I took it in a second time and the service manager stated again it was the cover over the oil filter. This is when I said I didn?t see a cover on the oil filter when I was under the truck and it appeared to be leaking on the oil filter. The service manage said that he was going to be with the service tech when they fixed this leak. They finally fixed the truck and no more oil leaking on my driveway. Two times to fix a small leak was a bit too much so for my second oil change I went to the dealer that I purchased the truck from and I was more than satisfied.Thanks

I've been taking my Corvettes to Ron Tonkin for a good number of years and have never had issue with getting them in or out in a reasonable time with excellent service. The driver takes me a few blocks away to work and offers to pick me up. As far as the maintenance being done, I've never had to take them back because something was missed or done incorrectly. Done right, the first time. This kind of goes along with my motto, "Never make the same mistake once". They live up to that.

Came in for service on my 08 HHR SS and as usual my experience was great, on time, and with maximum attention to me and my car. It was brought to my attention that I had a screw in my tire. So because I was advised of this I went to the tire dealer and they removed the screw which was in a non-repairable place on the tire, but because it had not gone all the way through They were able to save it. Had Ron Tonkin's staff not advised me of this problem I would have kept driving and the screw would have pushed on through and ruined this fairly new expensive tire. Thanks to all in the service department for saving the day Great job. THANK YOU!!! Special thanks to Mike Sparks.

I brought in my 2500 for an oil & filter change also a trans fluid flush & exchange I was surprised that it took 3 hours and that the tec found 2 leaks that didn't seem correct and to "fix" them it would cost $1200.00 for what I think would be tightening bolts to factory spects also with less than 3,000 miles since the last oil change these leaks are "found" but nothing is said about the other leaks that were "found" the last time? makes me wonder what type of service you have Shady is something I would consider

I have purchased two vehicles at Tonkin Chevrolet, 5 1/2 years apart. Both experiences were positive. The service department is the best I have dealt with. Repairs are done on time and done right. My service adviser keeps me informed about what my car may need the next time I come in, and about anything they find amiss during a service or repair. I have never felt that any unnecessary work was done to my cars. I will strongly recommend Tonkin to anyone looking to buy a car, or have work done to their existing car.

Had a 60,000 mile inspection with services neededin several fields, estimaed at $1,238.00. Was toldit would take two days. Had a call around 5PMthe same day that the car was ready. We bought a 2009 Nissan Alitima from an amazing young man named Andrew! I would recommend him highly, he's only 19 years old, but answered all our questions, and knew exactly what we had in mind to buy. AND FOUND IT! Out of their in 1 and a half hours! He was amazingly cool. We love it and he has checked in twice now and found the set of car mats , then after another call he found another key for us. HOWEVER , WE BOUGHT THIS CAR AT DUSK AND 4 RAINY DAYS AFTER, AND ONLY 20 MILES WE DISCOVERED 2 CHIPS IN THE WINDSHIELD. THEIR QUOTE IS NO CAR LEAVES THE LOT WITH BAD WINDOWS, AND UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES, THE MANAGER OF THE PARTS WOULD NOT REPAIR THE CHIPS, SO I WOULD DEFINITLY RECOMMEND NOT BUYING A CAR FROM THEM IN THE RAIN OR DARK, BBW
