Great experience. Tim Campbell our salesman was down to earth and forthright. I exchanged a lot of text with him prior to showing up on the lot. He patiently answered my questions and worked to get everything ready to my satisfaction. Zach made the paperwork easy. He did not push those things we did not want and worked to get us a good deal on those things we did want. Got the financing in a range we were happy with.

I have spent hours buying a car in the past. Safford made it easy to come to terms quickly on a new Fiat 500. The car we were interested in was on their lot in Tysons, VA. They delivered it to Winchester so we could take it for a test drive locally. Safford's sales people are helpful and professional. I look forward to doing business with them again.

I went in for an estimate to fix a fist sized ding in the bumper of my jeep wrangler. Randy in the collision center had the team pop it out at no charge and gave me an estimate for a replacement bumper and an upgrade bumper. VERY pleased with today's service!

Spent 4 1/2 hours in the waiting room at Safford Ram Winchester to get an air bag replaced under recall and a leak in the power steering fixed. over 300 dollars spent to get the leak fixed but the leak was not fixed. Waster both time and money. these fools have no idea how to fix a simple power steering leak. I don't have money to waste. never again will I take my vehicles to Safford Ram over priced work done by simpletons.

Thanks to Frank Merritt, our 16 year old son is now a proud owner of an awesome used Jeep. We could not be happier with the service that Frank and Brad Strosnider provided us. On Fri, 7/8, I provided full details of all problems related to my need for repairs when I spoke to service manager, Charles, on the phone. Shortly afterwards, Lisa (non-mechanic working at desk) called to interrogate me about my car repair problems. I told her I gave Charles all of the details. She demanded that I give her all of the details and I asked if she had spoken to Charles. She was clearly upset and abruptly ended the call. On Fri, 7/8, I dropped off car and met Charles, who said it might be looked at on Sat, 7/9 or Mon, 7/11. Nicole processed my paperwork on Fri, 7/8 and said she would contact me with a price on a separate Parts item I wanted to purchase. On Mon, 7/11, I called Nicole and she said my car had not been looked at. She said it might be looked at on Tue, 7/12.On Tue, 7/12, Lisa called claiming my car "might" be looked at on Wed, 7/13. I reminded her that my car had been there since Fri, 7/8 and she claimed they were swamped. I asked for Charles, but Matthew, a different service manager, came to the phone. He apologized after realizing my car had been there since Fri, 7/8 and said it would be looked at that day, Tue, 7/12. On Fri, 7/8, Parts gave a quote for parts and Lisa said my total for parts & labor would be $884.52. On Tues, 7/12, Lisa called and said I needed to pay $1,087.99 upfront before they begin work. I reminded her she quoted me $884.52 on Fri, 7/8. She paused for a minutes and then said it would be $884.52. On Wed, 7/13, I asked about the separate parts item I asked Nicole about on Fri, 7/8. Lisa put me on hold and returned with a price of $48.90. I told her Parts had quoted something in the $20+ range a few months prior, but I could not find it. I told her there was no way the item would double in price in a few months. She claimed that was the price. I phoned four different Chrysler dealerships who quoted me $17.95, $21.90, $24.30, and $27.41 for the same part. I asked on Parts guy why a dealership would charge $48.90 for that part. He laughed and said the dealership who quoted me double the price was trying to make a large profit. On Wed, 7/13, I phoned the GM (John) to complain about my lack of trust with his dealership and shady service. I told him Service kept trying to swindle me by claiming prices were higher than originally quoted. John did admit that dealerships have the discretion to change their prices if they want to help customers. (Obviously, the opposite was happening to me. It appears that Lisa was trying to swindle more money from me. I'm guessing it was due to her having a negative attitude about the initial conversation.) John was helpful and came across as an empathetic and concerned dealership manager. He stated he valued integrity and repeat customers more than trying to swindle money out of a customer. John said he would speak with Service to determine what was happening and call me back. He called back as promised and agreed that my repairs were so extensive that it probably was not worth me investing in. We agreed I would not proceed with the repairs. I asked for his assistance in finding an affordable replacement car. John said he would have a salesman call with affordable purchase options. I would give John P. a positive review, but those unscrupulous reps he has working in Service are clearly making his dealership look bad! I would even give Charles and Matthew a positive review. My problems were directly related to dealing with Lisa and Nicole. As long as those two are working in Service, I will not return and I will advise anyone to AVOID SERVICE at Safford of Winchester!On Wed, 7/13, after my conversation with John, Nicole calls me rattling off all of these problems my car has and how I needed to get started on the repairs. I stopped her and said I had already discussed my repair issues with two different service managers and I had already told Matthew, John and Lisa that I was not proceeding with repairs. Again, Nicole and Lisa are Service desk reps - not mechanics!! I told Nicole someone was supposed to call and tell me how much I owed for the time my car had been there. Nicole told he I owed $175 for 1.5 hours diagnostic services. I told Nicole that on Fri, 7/8, she told me my diagnostic charge was $110. She paused a moment and then said, "your total will be $110." BEWARE!!! I must wonder if Lisa and Nicole work on some sort of commission. These two are lying and swindling Service desk reps who have probably swindled money out of unsuspecting customers. If you speak to either of them, WRITE DOWN every amount they tell you. I can bet money that the price will be higher when it is time to pay!

Happy to the fullest extent. I was looking at a wrangler but I saw a Trail hawk on showroom floor that I really liked better. Was more expensive but I got a great deal and my payment was very close to what I was currently paying.

Went looking for a NEW specific Jeep vehicle with certain options... Bruce did such a great job, he found the vehicle I was looking for, but then took the extra step and found the vehicle I REALLY wanted!!!I ended up buying used vs new, and they were not afraid to tell me of the better deal. It was honest and I appreciate it.Got no worries on the service end, Jason took care of me with the one and only concern I had, and Ron made it happen.Helps to have people who listen to you, go to bat for you, and deliver.Go see Bruce if you want a no hassle deal. See Jason if you need service, and see Ron if you have any questions... that's my recommendation.

In the 13 months I've owned my Jeep, it's been back for repairs 10 times. Every single repair takes a minimum of two visits, because they never have parts in stock. Even when I had all the fluid leak out of a shock, and told them this over the phone, they did not have a replacement when I came in for my appointment. Every time I take my Jeep in, it takes way longer than they tell me it will, and I always get it back dirtier than when I dropped it off. The last straw was when I had it in for the soft top leaking. When they got around to replacing parts (on the second visit, of course), they did not clamp the soft top back down when they gave it back to me. I had to pull off along the highway when I heard all the wind noise and vibrations. I tried twice to call the service manager to complain, but he does not return calls. I won't go back.

I had been looking for a used truck for several months. Having made numerous visits to dealerships in PA, MD, WV and VA, I finally found the truck I was looking for at a great list price. Having shopped this particular truck at the other dealerships, by far, Safford had the best price and the vehicle condition was well above similar ones found at the other dealerships. I was prepared to buy the truck "as is", due to the age of the vehicle, knowing that it may need some work to pass inspection. As it turns out, Safford replaced the brakes and rotors on all four wheels and later replaced the hardware to the calipers, as one was hanging up, all at ZERO cost to me! Nothing further was needed to pass inspection. The truck was purchased to be used as a work vehicle and I am more than pleased so far. Ron Nicholson was a great no pressure salesman who was able to provide the history on the vehicle ( 1 owner local trade ). I was also able to squeeze a little more juice out of the list price!! I would definitely recommend this dealership, from service to sales to title work, very smooth experience!

I went into Safford on a Friday looking at a particular used vehicle. I met with one of the new car salesmen. He said he is a new car salesman but can still help me with a used car. I told him the car I was interested in. We took it for a test drive. I was interested in the vehicle and said so. We started talking financing and I already had financing with Capital One but wanted to go to my bank and talk to them and also I needed to bring my husband in this weekend to show him the car. I was successful in obtaining the financing from my bank and called the salesperson and told him. We began negotiating the price. Again I told him I will be bringing my husband in this weekend to look at the car. Sunday comes and I bring my husband in only to find out that they wholesaled the vehicle to a dealer the day before! Apparently my salesperson failed to communicate to the used car department that he had an interested buyer! I was disappointed in the lack of communication with these salesmen. How they chose to wholesale the vehicle when clearly I showed interest by obtaining financing prior to stepping foot on their lot just blows my mind. I refuse to do business with a bunch of incompetent sharks.

We went in to just look at a particular Jeep, not intending to actually purchase that day. However, we saw a Jeep Latitude that we fell in love with. Adam Carter met us in the lot. Adam allowed us our time to thoroughly check out the vehicle in our own way without distracting us from our observations and checks, but keeping himself available and ready if we had questions. We decided to go with the Jeep and drive it home. That's when Adam set to work and began to work his magic. Now we all know that 5 hours in a dealership trying to negotiate, approvals, etc is a harrowing process now-a-days, but Adam helped us keep our patience and sanity by providing multiple things to do: tours, meeting our future service professionals, and constantly checking on the progress of things. He offered a wide variety of very interesting conversational topics that kept us busy and help the time pass fast. It was a blessing! He stayed on top of each step and kept us informed through the entire process and always keeping a check on how we were doing and if we needed anything. Adam also noticed a problem with the engine light being on, but by the time we were ready to leave, Adam had already had the problem checked out and located ( a bad minor sensor), ordered the part, and told us exactly when it would be in and when we could schedule an appointment to have it replaced. We were impressed with his thoroughness in dealing with problems. A couple of days later, he personally called us to see how our vehicle was doing and if there were any problems or questions about the Jeep that he could help us with. That was greatly appreciated. The gentleman in the finance dept, Danny Vincent, was wonderful. He worked as quickly as he could to finalize the deal, and help us to get the payments we were seeking. After so many hours without lunch and getting a headache, he gave me chocolate to get me through till we got some supper! Danny and Adam seemed to really care, not only about the deal and getting us in our Jeep, but about us as people. We love our Jeep Latitude. And we have found a dealer that we will return to year after year. We highly recommend this dealer.

Well I thought about buying a new truck and was just looking and found one I was interested in. So I did the online chat then was contacted by a sales person from Safford. I dealt with Todd Hicks and it was a great experience. He was really quick to answer any questions/concerns I had by text which is more convenient than phone. I have nothing but good to say about everyone I met while going through the buying process. Catie dealt with the additional things that I needed-ECP, rain guards, and floor mats. Danny was the finance person dealt with and made things smooth and clear with explaining every detail to my understanding. I'd have to say it was the best buying experience I've had. The Jeep we purchased from Safford has been in for extended warranty repairs 2 times in the last 6 months. First, the front differential needed to be rebuilt. When I made the appointment, I was told it would take one day. Upon check-in I was told no way, it would take 2-3 days and was offered a rental for $30/day. I questioned why I should pay for a rental when it was warranty work, Safford relented and provided the car free. Good thing because it took 5 days for the repair. The Jeep then started leaving me stranded; just randomly wouldn't start. Stafford was unable to find the problem and stated that if they couldn't get an error code, Chrysler would not allow them to troubleshoot any further. From May 2nd until the second week in August I battled with Safford and Chrysler trying to get the car fixed. Finally the car refused to start at all, was towed in and the technician found the wiring harness completely melted. My husband was quoted a price for the repairs by the Service Manager, yet when he got the bill it was higher. Nicole argued with him that the SM was wrong and this was the price. My husband insisted that he had been given a firm quote and again Safford relented and charged the price quoted.Today, August 24th, I received notification that the recalled ignition parts are finally available for the Jeep. The letter said to contact your Jeep dealer for the repair. Safford told my husband on the phone they did not have the parts in stock, could not make an appointment and further they were unable order the parts from Chrysler - all statements in direct conflict with the letter from Chrysler. Every other dealership we contacted had the part and offered an appointment within 3 days. Safford is getting written up for this as the recall letter said to file a complaint with NHTSA if the dealer is "..unable to remedy this defect without charge and within a reasonable time..".Stay away from this dealership & service department. You have to ask for everything, stand your ground when they change their quotes and, because you refused to be pushed around, they will refuse to do a mandated safety recall repair on your vehicle.In this information age, you can't even find the name of the person or persons who own Safford so that you can express your displeasure about their employees. I'm sure their prices are in line with other dealerships but they get one star from me in the ratings below because of the refusal to honor a quote without an argument.

I've bought several new trucks the past 3 years all Fords until now I just bought a 2015 Ram 1500 crew Sport 4x4 from Safford in Winchester. Todd Hicks went above and beyond when other sales representatives from other dealerships failed. Todd promptly returned calls and emails, he searched and searched until we found the truck with all the specs that I wanted and timely had it transferred to the Winchester Safford location. Also would like to review the showroom and dealership at Safford in Winchester looks great! I also worked with the sales manager Jim and he was also great to work with! So far I'm very happy with new Ram truck.

I came to the dealership knowing what car I wanted. Unfortunately it had been sold two days prior. Bruce worked with me & saw there was another car similar to the one I really wanted. Long story short, it all worked out. I love my 2013 Hyundai Elantra! Bruce was very patient & got me what I wanted. Danny was also a huge help in the finance department. I have had an issue with my Dodge Journey for over a year and not one mechanic or dealer could or was willing to put in the time to figure it. It was an issue that made my car pretty much undriveable. I came into Safford with all hope lost and met Mark. He immediately jumped in to help. He dropped what he was doing and took my car for a test drive to see what the problem was. He promised me he would fix it. AND HE DID! I had a long trip to go on and needed to take my car but couldn't if this didn't get fixed. He assured me he would have it done before I left. HE FIXED IT!! You can not imagine the amount of money I had spent on trying to get this diagnosed to no avail. With in a few days he took care of this issues that others couldn't do in over a year. I can't thank him enough for his attention to detail and determination to figuring this out for me. He saved me from having to get a new car. I have never received such amazing customer service anywhere. He has created a customer for life.

The service department is a joke here, they do not treat customer first, they lie to get your vehicle in then take their time trying to fix it and get it back, every time I come here it's the same thing. I'm not saying it's the technician fault, it's the people up including the head person for service, so please if u want your vehicle fixed and fixed in a reasonable time I suggest finding a different dealership

Once upon a time you come upon a dealership that is so amazing, that they make your dream come true! Chris, Brad & Ben worked their hearts out for us and the end result has left me feeling like I took total advantage of them. Our family has purchased quite a few cars over the years and have seen both good and bad dealerships. This dealership far exceeded my expectations and goes above and beyond to determine what your particular needs are. Very rarely do you leave a dealership and feel that you truly got what you wanted from the deal, but it happened on my recent purchase at Safford. The sale was low pressure. They made me feel very comfortable. They worked to get a sense of my individual needs and then worked to make sure they were met. Every single staff member I dealt with was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. The paperwork portion (usually a grueling experience) went very quickly and everything was explained with great detail. They have truly gained a lifelong client and I cannot recommend this dealership enough.

I was very pleased with the service that I recieved from Bruce as well as the entire Safford team. I went to a few other dealers prior to coming to Safford and at those dealerships I felt very pressured to buy and I was even lied to, this was not the case at Safford. I had your typical experiences with other dealerships and was a little beaten down by the whole process when upon a friend's recommendation I walked in Safford in Winchester. From the time I met Jerry Dennis (my sales rep) when I walked in to when we worked through the details with Ben Saadatmand (his manager) and finally Danny Vincent in finance, I was treated with the highest level of professionalism and was dealt with by an organization that goes out of their way to provide the highest level of customer service. Their primary goal that came across to me was to make sure I was happy and satisfied.I've been buying cars for 20 years and this was easily the best experience I've had. They listened to what I was looking for, found the exact truck I was looking for, walked me through the details of what was a very good price, made the trade in painless, walked me through the finance process in a very clear and transparent way and I didn't feel like anything was held back or pushed on me. No gimmicks, no high pressure antics just a HIGHLY recommended dealership.

The level of Customer Service given at this dealership is VERY hard to come by. We had an awesome experience in purchasing our NEW 2014 Ram Power Wagon! Our sales person was Chris Dooley, he was great! He was in no way over pushy, he is very knowledgeable in answering any question we had and I would recommend him to everyone. My car has rail dust all over the car which is an issue with the paint it happens during the shipping process of the car, Chrysler turned me down but the guys at this dealer ship did not there taking care of me and the car Thank you so much i would recommend this dealership to everyone.

I recently went into to see about my chances of getting a new vehicle. I didnt think I had any, and was very nervous. I met with Joyce when I arrived and she was VERY friendly. She was able to quickly tell me what vehicles were in my price range and though I was hesitant, encouraged me to try a few. When I settled on one, she and her manager very quickly were able to work out a MORE than reasonable deal. The entire time she was very fun to talk to, laughed at my corny jokes and kept me at ease when we hit a small snafu and was able to assure me that everything was fine. Within a couple of hours, we had my financing taken care of, and I had a new car!! I wasn't able to pick it up till the next day, which she had told me was her first weekend off in months... And she came in anyway to make sure that my experience was good and to make sure that I was happy and ok with my purchase since I was still very nervous. I HIGHLY recommend Joyce, and her team. Through out the experience they were very kind, curious, and understanding of my needs.

It took me longer to get to the dealership than it did to drive away in my new to me vehicle. I live in Upper Marlboro, MD, which is about a 2 hour trip and I was on my way home in an hour and a half. The sales lady, Joyce Rohrbaugh was very pleasant to deal with. She was very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. They gave me a fair deal on my trade-in and an even better deal on the vehicle that I purchased. High recommended.

This was the best dealership experience I have ever had. Special thanks to Joyce and Chuck they made the stress of car buying a joy. Both with terrific personalities and more than willing to help with any questions I had. I was looking for a dodge caliber r/t and just so happens Joyce took one in over the weekend. There service dept. Was able to get it in right away and have it ready to go. It was amazing when Joyce called me the following day just say hi and to see if I was enjoying the car. My wife and I are in the market for a new vehicle. We have always liked Jeeps (Wranglers), but have never owned one. On a whim, we decided to visit Safford of Winchester on Route 7. It's not far from our house, and we figured that we would give them a shot. We drove up on the lot, got out of our vehicle and started to meander about. Within a couple of minutes, we were greeted by Nick Kelchner, who was a very pleasant individual. He introduced himself and shook both of our hands. We started to shoot the breeze about the vehicles and what we were looking for. As someone who used to work commissioned in-home sales, I'm familiar with all of the "right things to say to get the customer to say yes", and Nick's vernacular wasn't smattered with them. I was struck with the feeling that he was truly being sincere. I asked him some questions about the drive train, the engine specs, regular maintenance, tires, and the like. He was generally knowledgeable about the product, but admitted that there were some things that he wasn't sure about. He said that he could find out and he would let me know. I found this to be refreshing - the fact that a "sales" guy didn't claim to know everything. He asked what we would be using the vehicle for (highway driving, off-roading, etc) and he engaged both of us equally - taking in all of the input that both my wife and I gave him.We took the Jeep out for a test drive, and I was pleased with how it handled. Not as "trucky" as they had been in the past, but not built as a grocery-getter. Comfortably utilitarian. After the test drive, Nick asked if we had concerns. With two kids, our collective concerns were safety, durability and dependability. Some additional amenities would be nice, but they are wants, not needs. We started to talk about our purchase requirements, and Nick informed me that although the information was important, he wasn't the guy that we needed to talk to.Nick led us inside, holding the door for us as we went through, sat at his desk and started to talk about some options. Leaving the financial information out of the review, after we were finished, I requested to speak to his supervisor. Ben Saadatmand came over and introduced himself. He was a little concerned that he was asked to be spoken to, but I assured him that we had a great experience and I wanted to let him know that Nick did a good job. Working in the customer service industry, I know that most news is usually angry, negative or generally not so good. I wanted to reassure him that Nick did his job professionally, in a friendly manner, conversationally and most importantly, sincerely. Ben was happy to hear about our experiences, and proud of his employee (for good reason).As of the time of this posting, we have not yet purchased the Jeep, but have been in contact with Nick and we are planning on revisiting the dealership this afternoon to complete the credit application to see where our exact financing shakes out. They are working hard to find us what we need and what fits into our budget, and I'm excited to talk with them soon.Sincerely,Dan C.

My car was in an accident and was brought to Safford of Winchester. Their customer service was beyond expectation, they took me through each step, handled the insurance company and true to their word and the work done on the car was perfect. I am 60+ years old and this was my first accident, thank goodness only a rearender but to me it was very traumatic. Everyone understood and the entire process a good experience. Keep up the great work. I will recommend highly to all my friends and customers. Thank you for a great job!

I've purchased six new cars in the past 10 years. These have included the "premium" brands, BMW and Porsche. In many of these previous purchases I visited several dealers and wasted a lot of time. I do a great deal of research before contacting a sales person. I dont expect every salesperson to know as much about the vehicle as I do but they ought to know at least 75 percent of what I know. Some of the salespeople (I havent purchased from) didnt appear to have ever read the brochure, or a window sticker.Greg Saunders knows how to satisfy car buyers. Its simple, know your product and tell the truth, instead of what they want to hear and then waste their time. He also maintained contact through email for a month, never being pushy, or intrusive. Other than a few boring presentations about the typical dealer moneymakers. I havent had much to say about finance managers. The new Grand Cherokee, like even the most basic new vehicle, is very complex and I plan to keep it a long time. If you would have told me a few years ago that I would ever buy an extended warranty on a car I would have referred you to drug rehab. Paulina Ahrens sold me a lifetime warranty, something I didnt know existed. We have good credit, but she gave us an interest rate far better than I found while shopping around. Biz office experience was excellent!I think the dealership culture may be to treat all car buyers with respect. I think they would also serve you well if you if you were buying a used car with poor credit.

I had a front differential go out unexpectedly in my truck and had the vehicle towed to Safford of Winchester. The ring and pinion seized for some unknown reason. The staff mentioned helped to get me going again. John Phillip and Mark Cornish went out if their way to help me with my concerns. Thanks again to you all!

Shaun called us from an internet search, he was very pleasant on the phone and listened to what we were interested in. He invited us to meet with him and we agreed. He showed us what we asked him to and did not try to sell us what we were not looking for. Shaun went above and beyond to explain the differences in the 2 vehicles we were interested in. We took a test drive but, he could tell we were not sold on that vehicle. We went inside, he did a search and came up with the perfect vehicle for us at their Fredericksburg location. He truley knows what he is talking about and knows what's in his stock. We are very happy with our purchase in fact that was the best car buying experience we have ever had. We were never rushed or nade to feel like we were taking up too much time. When It was time to go into financng that experience was equally great with Chris Dooley.We highly recommend Shaun if you are looking for a vehicle. The whole Safford team was great.

I have been shopping for a new Durango for awhile. The challenge was finding one that had the particular features that I wanted. I decided to expand the scope of my local area to find the car that I wanted, and boy was that a good decision. I reached out to Safford of Winchester about a particular vehicle that caught my eye. Right from the beginning, my sales associate (Shaun Hall) was very responsive to my inquiries, knowledgable about the product, and eager to earn my business during the entire purchase process. Safford gave me a great price on my Durango, and a very fair offer for my trade in. All in all the process was very friendly and I feel like I got a great deal. I could not recommend Shaun and the entire team at Safford more highly. If you are looking for a fair trade on your existing vehicle, a great price on your new car, and a knowledgable sales team and finance department, make sure you include Safford of Winchester as one of your must visit dealerships. And don't forget to ask for Shaun Hall, I have no doubt he will earn your business also. I found a Dodge Charger on line through Safford's website. It seemed to be an excellent deal, so I inquired further. The salesman I spoke to was Shaun Hall. I made an appointment to test drive the vehicle that evening. I did so, and liked the car. Afterwards, upon talking about moving forward with the purchase, I over heard Shaun and the finance manager (I do not remember his name) talking about this vehicle. As it turns out, they made a mistake when posting the price of this vehicle online. They were lowering prices of certain vehicles online, and had lowered the price of this one by mistake. However, they stated at the time they would still honor the price it was advertised for (which legally they have to anyway). The paperwork was written up for that price. i had not signed the contract yet, because I wanted to discuss it with my wife, but did tell them it was almost a sure thing, and I would be in touch with them the next day to confirm moving forward. The finance manager wanted me to bring in a print-out of the vehicle listed at the price everyone saw (which already made me skeptical) when I came in the following day. I asked to have it printed right then and there, but he stated they weren't allowed to do that. Interestingly enough, when I got home and pulled up that vehicle online, the price had already been raised back up (go figure). However, since the paperwork was already written up for the agreed upon price, the Shaun said there would be no issue. The next day I contacted Shaun, and told him I would be in to purchase the vehicle. He said everything would be ready to go. Upon arriving, Shaun was finishing up with another customer. The finance manager brought me into his office, and proceeded to tell me they would not be able to give me the agreed on price for the car. He said they had made a mistake in lowering the price on that car, and could not sell it that low. He was going to have to raise the price back up, but as "a courtesy to me, they would split the difference". Quite simply, that is not my problem, and I told him so. The agreed-on price is what I expected to pay, and nothing more. He asked for the print out, which I explained I did not have because the price had already been raised by the time I got back home. His response was "Well, I can't call you a liar, but....". After about another 10 minutes of going back and forth, with him trying to jack the price up, and me refusing, he threw in the towel....but with an attitude I did not appreciate. He acted like I was doing him a disservice, and he was then doing me a favor. I left his office, and told Shaun I would not be completing the purchase. These are cheap salesman tricks that do not work for me. I realize they made a mistake in their advertising, but that is not my problem. They told me they would still honor the price, then tried to jack it up at the last minute. And to top it off, when I told Shaun why I would not be completing the purchase, at the end of that conversation he simply turned his back and walked away. No "I'm sorry"....or anything. Not what I expect from a decent dealership. I am contacting my attorney as well, because they tried to jack up the price on an advertised deal, which is not legal. I will not recommend this dealership to anyone....quite the opposite.

I found this Ford F-250 pickup on cars.com listed with Safford of Winchester. The price and having exactly what we were looking for is why I contacted this dealership. However it was a 6 hr. drive away. There were plenty of pictures of the truck, but this would be a long distance purchase and I needed lots of info from them to feel comfortable enough to buy. The first time we would see and drive the truck would be on the day we would purchase it. Also, we had to make a quick transaction because of previous commitments so we didn't want to be at the dealer for a couple of hours or more. Joyce Rohrbaugh salesperson and the used car mgr Paul assured me of everything about the truck. They also organized most of the paperwork to be overnited so as to expedite the time we would have to spend at the dealership. Still, at the end of the day, we would have incurred 12 hours drive time and a motel stay to purchase this truck. I was concerned mostly with any "surprises" we might encounter with the truck or the pricing once we arrived. We would have certainly been at a disadvantage at that time. I'm happy to say everything was as they said it would be. We arrived as soon as they opened up on a Sat. and everything went smoothly and timely. Joyce and Paul were very personable and Paulina had all paperwork in order. Even the detail guys that cleaned the truck were helpful. The overall experience was very positive. I would recommend these persons and will contact them again when a another purchase is in order for us.

Amazing experience! We had poor credit and they were still willing to work with us. We were able to get a much newer and better car than expected because of the dedication Paulina put into our application and finances. Chuck listened to what we wanted and found us the perfect vehicle. I would definitely recommend them and would do business with them in the future! A+ team!

I was in the market for a used car and was interested in the Dodge Caliber. I found one on their website and called Bruce Harrell about it and he got it sent up from Fredericksburg quickly. I was very impressed with the price and condition of the car, which was hands down better than anywhere else that I had looked. With futher descussion about the vehicle with Bruce, who was very knowledgeable, I decided to purchase the vehicle. The finance personnel that I worked with where very helpful and found me an awesome deal.I did have a small issue that was found on the car two months after I bought it but with the help of Bruce and the used car manager the matter was taken car of by the dealership. I am very impressed with the manner in which the dealership took care of the matter and will continue to recommend and do buisness with them in the future. Thanks again Bruce and the whole service team over there.

We purchased a car on November 23rd. The experience that day was long but Ben worked diligently to get everything done. A major problem was recognized the next week on December 2nd. I had a problem with one of Ben's employees who contacted me and I contacted the BBB as well as this rating agency due to what had transpired. I have chosen to revise the previous review. Ben called me promptly after the emails and reviews were received to meet with us. We visited the dealership that afternoon. Ben took great care and provided all relevant information to the problem that they had. While there I was able to get him and the credit union together and Ben and Isabell worked out a plan of action and corrected the problem within a couple of days. Everything has now been finalized. I had another meeting with Ben and we were able to discuss the problems. In closing the salesman and Ben were fantastic and I doubt there will be any problems like this in the near future. I have now purchased 3 cars from there.

Excellent customer service. I was in dire need of a new car and Amber and her manager, Jim, helped make it happen. They were very quick in getting back to me when I had questions and weren't pushy at all. I would definitely go back to them for any of my auto needs in the future. Amber was a very helpful person to work with. When I entered the dealership that day, I had not really expected having time to purchase a car.I had a small child along, as well as perishable groceries in the car, and she made it very easy to test drive and move forward with a purchase in spite of these other distractions.She was incredibly patient and kind with my young daughter who was not all that interested in buying a car.The next day i discovered that the one of the keys did not work. Amber stepped up and took care of everything so I did not have to interrupt by work day.If you are looking for a low pressure person, that can read the customers needs pretty well, ask for Amber to help you!

I went into Safford of Winchester,Va Saturday 11/2 to replace a key for my girlfriend's Jeep Commander and was pleased by the customer service. I was eyeballing a Lexus RX 350 that was sitting on the lot for the past month and decided to inquire about it as I was getting Jeep key fixed. I dealt with 3 people, salesmen Colby Used car manager Jim Suddith, and finance guy Chris. All 3 gentlemen were professional and treated me like I was part of the Safford family. I want to particularly want to give thanks to Jim Suddith(Used car manager) for helping me through the whole car buying experience at Safford. Jim was professional, respectful, and sensitive to all of my needs. I would HIGHLY recommend this dealership to my friends! The only negative I have to say was Jamie Kim (Service advisor). She was unprofessional and rude. I would keep her in the back of the warehouse....

I admit I hate going to car dealerships. I don't like how car salesmen stand around like vultures & swoop in on you as soon as you get out of your car, although it is my understanding that management makes them do it. I don't like that car salesmen will tell you just about anything to make you buy that car TODAY! I dont like how as a single woman i get patronized alot. As you can see, I mean it when I say I hate going to car dealerships. My visit to safford of Winchester changed my mind & I will be telling anyone I run across looking for a car to come here & see Mr. Chuck McCann. Mr. McCann did kind of swoop down on me but I expected that & was prepared. Although I did my best to be cold & indifferent Chucks natural warmth & easibility wore me down. He was extremely professional however & impressed me with his knowledge of the overall dealership inventory & the cars themselves, demonstrating their features with expertise & finesse which gave me the confidence to trust him as my sales rep. Importantly he genuinely listened to my needs & addressed my concerns. He was also instrumental in getting me thru financing & calmly & efficiently answering my questions easing any apprehensions I had. It turned out to be a more-than-one-day process (my fault) & Chuck never faltered or made me feel like a difficult customer, although i know I was. Chuck "held my hand" thru the whole process without me realizing he held my hand until the deal was done. Many salespeople (not to mention single men) would benefit from learning & copying his sales approach & techniques. Thank you tremendously Chuck McCann & Safford!! I hope I get as much satisfaction out of my vehicle!

I'm not a person who likes buying a car - any car. The major reason for this is I fail to understand why it should take 2-3 hours to fill out paperwork when I provide the appropriate information in advance, and then have to wait *forever* to finally get my keys if I come prepared with my own financing. I'm delighted to report that after seeing this used F250 on a weekend and several days later arranging my own financing and providing most, if not all, the necessary data via fax, going to the dealership and closing on this vehicle took less than an hour. That's a record for the history books, folks. Amber, Jim and Chris did a fantastic job from the beginning of this process, to the end. And when I'm ready to trade in my other car (a 2011 Challenger), I'll know exactly who to go to. IMPRESSED!

The patience and friendliness that we experienced at Safford was wonderful! Recently purchasing a used, one of a kind paint job King Ranch truck, Amber and Jimmy showed complete patience and truly worked WITH us to help us feel comfortable and actually be able to enjoy buying a vehicle! I have bought several cars and trucks from different dealerships and have never received the customer service that was given to my wife and I this past weekend. The sales person Chuck McCann was outstanding, his professionalism and salesmanship personal and being personable as well as willing to listen to what I had to say and just let my wife and I look around without being pushy or hovering over the two of us made for a great experience. He made sure all our questions were answered about the vehicles we were interested in and did not try to rush us or attempt to get us to look at a car or truck we weren't interested in. He made shopping for a new car light, fun and informative. After all the test drives we requested we made our decision and then he pasted on all my requests to the finance manager who was Gregg Strosnider who again was professional and personalable who also listened to us both and didn't kill our credit with sending the app to 100 different banks. He simply looked at our credit and decided who would be best and the first one bought the loan for anyone who knows how credit checks can bring your scores down this is huge. We were so impressed with the customer service we decided to go back two days later and bought a second car and yes received the same as we did two days prior. On our second one we had a finance manager named Pauline and she just continued the same professionalism as everyone else we dealt with. I will and would send all my friends and family to to Stafford of Winchester. I my opinion the three (3) employees I have mentioned Chuck McCann, Gregg Strosnider and Pauline are true professionals and examples of how all sales personal and finance managers should treat their customers. Stafford of Winchester and Dodge Chrysler jeep should have these three train all their employees. Thanks for making our car & truck buying experience wonderful. Thanks again we love our new rides.

My wife and I went to the dealer looking for a used vehicle; we were trying to trade in our minivan. We were greeted by Amber, our sales person, and one of the most impressive things we noticed was how much she was willing to listen to and converse with my wife as well as try to understand what our needs in a vehicle were. Her manager, Jim, was also very helpful in helping us find the right vehicle for our needs, and Chris was on point in getting us through the warranty, titling, and financing aspect of the purchase. I will definitely recommend this team of professionals to anyone looking to buy a vehicle, and it was very nice to deal with people who were as extremely customer oriented as they were.

Wow!!! This was the absolute best car buying experience my husband and I have ever went through! I can not say how pleased we are with Mr. Chuck McCann's professionalism and salesmanship! He was extremely knowledgeable in the vehicle we chose and created enthusiasm throughout our visit to Safford of Winchester. From the moment I was so lucky to get Chuck as my Sales Professional, initially over the phone, he had me excited and anticipating my visit that much more. He got Matt Young, his financial manager to work the deal out with the banks which came across effortless, and made my husband and I feel valued from beginning to end. It was Matt's birthday even and he still gave us a call to give us the good news before he left for the day! (HAPPY BIRTHDAY MATT!!) He could have very well passed it on to someone else, but being that he was the one who started the job, he went above and beyond to make sure he carried it through. You can tell that this dealership is headed in the right direction and I have to say, this dealership breaks all stigmas placed on dealerships as being a place to fear or even to have to put a wall up. My husband being the big guy he is and who comes across very intimidating, and even myself who is usually very serious and direct became very friendly and open. This has been the ONLY dealership throughout my entire car buying history as well as my husband's first time going to a dealership that says what it is and that is exactly how it turns out. There were no, well, and this is what we're going to need, so on and so forth. Very honest from start to end, and I couldn't ask for more. Mr. Chuck McCann and his team just have a way of breaking all walls down and creating a family atmosphere that puts your mind at ease and allows you to enjoy the fact that you're getting a new vehicle instead of dreading it. If I had one negative to say about the dealership is that I wish it wasn't so far away just so we could stop in to say hi, but being that it was a little over a 2 hour drive-it was DEFINITELY worth the drive! I would recommend Mr. Chuck McCann to any of my clients and especially friends and family if they are ever in need of a new vehicle. The experience alone is worth the drive, and being that my husband and I have four children, you can best believe they will be coming to see Mr. Chuck when it's time if he is still there at Safford of Winchester! I would definitely recommend using Jeff Walter when shopping at Safford. This was our 4th new vehicle purchase (all Chrysler products) in the past 2 years or so, and each of the last 3 times I was able to find a deal that made it worth traveling out of state to make the purchase, instead of using a local dealer. Luckily I was paired up with Jeff this time and he made it happen. I admit that I'm probably not the best customer to work with, as I get something in my head and I don't like to budge, but Jeff worked diligently with management to seal the deal.

Chuck McCann was simply fantastic! He was friendly, helpful, and even came to help me with an issue I had after leaving the lot. He walked me through the entire process, including helping me with my credit issues. He understood my need and helped make it a reality. All the staff I worked with at Safford of Winchester were friendly and helpful. I came in to have my car serviced, and as it was a 2005 Liberty (my favorite car of all time) with 135,000 miles on it, I had been looking for only another Jeep Liberty. While waiting on my car, I toured the showroom and met Mr. Lyons who explained that the Liberty had been discontinued, but that he would look for one for me. He spent time on the computer, located a great low milage 2011 and took me to the used car sales team and we found after working on a contract that the car was already sold. Not to be deterred, Mr. Lyons found a beautiful brand new 2012 cherry red Liberty in PA and had it brought the next day for me to drive away. I am just thrilled with the service and kindness as I spent about 6 hours during the process. Bobby in service was really personable and great, coming to check on me several times after the service on my 2005 was done. Mr Saadatmand, the manager was very gracious and kind as well. I was so upset when Kern lost their dealership due to the government intervention, and really wanted to stick with the Jeep brand, but the closest dealership was so far away. It is great to have such a pleasant and dedicated team supporting such a great car line. Kudos to Safford of Winchester. I look forward to a long and happy relationship with them servicing my great new Jeep.

Looking to trade my Hummer for a Jeep wrangler, I shopped the Internet and found Safford of Winchester to have the best inventory with competitive prices. I visited the dealership and was lucky to have come in contact with Jeff Walter. Jeff was very knowledgeable of the Jeep line of products and offered great customer support during the price/trade negotiations. With the help of Ben, the sales manager, I felt I was treated fairly with my trade and purchase of a new Jeep Wrangler. Bought a 2008 Scion Tc from this dealership in 2012 was a used one great experience with that buy same sales man as well.Came back on 4-1-13 And bought a BRAND new Dodge Dart SXT/ RALLYE Turbo fully loaded brian was able to help me again. The best dealer there doesn't waste any time lets you know everything up front doesn't try and go around the bush he cuts through it. i would recommend this dealer (BRIAN YODER) to anyone looking for a new or used car. sense he is able to do both. I also had my Father buy a Chrysler 200 S style loaded as well from him the exact same day i did. he's very friend. well dress. clean cut and has manners and willing to work with you and try and figure something up. he also knows alot about the vehicles they sell at this dealership. The Owner John Phillips is also a great man to deal with to i was shocked at how well he took care of me and made the deal happen. Safford dodge is where it's at the only issue i have had at safford would be Jami in the service department shes good at her job no doubt but very bad with customers!!!!Thanks JOHN and Brian for making it happen!! Will be back in the future for what ever DODGE BRINGS TO THE PLATE!!!

I took my Cherokee in for a recall. They not only did a poor job on the brake recallso that it made a loud thumping noise when braking, they also broke my shifter bezel, stripped out two of my lugnuts and claimed they were defective (and tried to sell me new ones for $8 each), left greasy footprints on my carpet, and left a tool laying in my daughters car seat... when I took it back to get the issues fixed they corrected the brake problem, but in turn broke one of my wheel covers. After MULTIPLE calls and visits, they called and told me that they weren't sure THEY had broken these things so therefore they wouldn't replace them...but offered me a free oil change instead...umm, like I'm gonna let you touch my car ever again??? Not a chance! I will be getting estimates and suing Safford for the cost to repair their screw ups.

Jeff Walter is a very helpful salesman. He was very responsive yet not the slightest bit pushy. He took good care of us throughout the entire process. He was also very helpful after the sale, when he took the time to explain all the gadgets to my technology challenged wife. I will be back to see Jeff when I need a new car. Thanks Jeff.

I purchased a 2013 Dodge Durango this weekend. Jeff Walter was an outstanding salesman. We had some issues negotiating the price but in the end we came to terms and I couldn't be happier. This has by far been the best experience I've had purchasing a new vehicle. Jeff took the time to go over the numerous features on the vehicle and even called a few days later to see if I had any questions, if there were any problems with the vehicle, if I was satisfied etc. I would highly recommend Safford Dodge of Winchester and Jeff Walters. I recently purchased a 2013 Jeep Cherokee Limited at Safford of Winchester. My sales guy was Jeff Walter. At the very beginning, I explained I was not into the barter game and just wanted a best case scenario. Jeff did exactly that and I was able to get what I wanted at the price I wanted in the brief time I was there. I'm a huge car enthusiest and this will be my 13th new vehicle since I've been driving. In all the dealerships I've been to, this has been by far the fastest and easiest transaction I've had. Thanks Jeff and team for the great work. For those looking into new Jeeps (which by the way are pretty amazing when comparing to Acura MDX's and BMW M5's. They have all if not more options at a heck of a lot cheaper price!) Safford is hands down an exceptional dealership with an exceptional team that made me feel comfortable, confident, and informed with my decision to buy a new Ram truck.After looking on Safford's website and talking to the dealership via email and phone numerous times, ultimately I drove down to Winchester to decide on the truck that was right for me. Side note - Safford is a 9hr hour drive from where I live. After talking with other dealerships on the east coast, who I quickly realized were primarily focused on making a sale (of any kind) and did not extend the same courtesy as Safford, my decision on where to buy my first truck was obvious.Jon and his team are a super friendly + knowledgeable crew who walked me through each 1500 model (2012 + 2013), taking time throughout the process so could I digest all the info and make the best decision. When it came time to decide btwn 3 trucks they had on their lot, I was presented with clear financial information (rebates, trade, financing options, etc) so I could make the best decision. From the start of purchasing this vehicle I have had issues with my tpms light coming on. Safford has had my vehicle multiple times (8 I think) twice for 5 days. I had ask if this was covered under lemon law and was told no. I did involve a non litigating attorney that I have just closed working with as Chrysler still refuses to fix the problen on thier product. Chrysler tried stating it was my car charger setting off the light so i stopped using ine all together, My light continue to comes on, I continue to have to pull off on the side ofbusy highways to ensure do not have a flat tire so I am not risking danger to myself or family. Now Safford dodge is no longer even trying to figure out or repair this issue. I believe this should fall under lemon law as it has been in the shop for the same issue over and over more than 3 times. It does become a safety issue as a person maay feel that the light is on due to the malfunction in the vehicle asusual and in reality it will be a true issue and could caus ean accident with whom knows what outcome. Safford Dodge has put well over 400 miles on my vehicle trying to repair it. They has multiple people drive it home for the night as if it were a rental to use at thier disposal.My loan is through Apple Valley Credit Union

Matt was very helpful and easy to talk to. I don't care much for a pushy sales person or somebody trying to persuade me into buying something i don't want. Matt was not like that at all, he found a car that i was very happy with. Thanks to Matt i drove out of there in my new 2013 Dodge Dart!!!!!!! I love it !!!!!!!!

Dana Turner did and excellent job working with us, was very patient in finding a vehicle that would work for us due to the fact we have 8 children. Dana showed us a vehicle that we were really wanting to purchase but it didn't fit our needs which was the Dodge Journey with the 3rd row seating. Then he showed us a couple of vans which we test drove, one was used and the other one was brand new. We ended up with a brand new Dodge Grand Caravan and Safford was able to take our 2006 dodge grand caravan which we were upside down on in equity by $4000.00 and work it in for our new van. We also recieved rebates off our new van as well. We got an excellent interest rate loan without having perfect credit, just below 600 credit score with $1000 down payment. Dana was a pleasure to deal with. He made my car buying experience quick, easy, and painless. He was very helpful and knowledgeable but not pushy whatsoever. He and his supervisor worked with my wife and me to find us the best possible deal and they succeeded. The environment inside the office was firendly and laid back. They played music and the staff interacted with everyone in a polite and friendly manner.Not only will I recommend Safford of Winchester and Dana Turner, I already have! First let me say that "I love my new Town and Country". The Caravan I replaced was only a few years old, a 2008. But I'm into safety with my kids in the car. What sold me were the rear side view mirrors that lit up or lit up and chimed if someone came up on my blind side. That is too cool. The buying experience was great. I would have mentioned sales for the recommendation, but this site makes you choose sales or service. Sales and financing were great. I wanted to mention Don because he took care of my 2008 Caravan, and now he takes care of my new Town and Country. Even just stopping by to ask a question, because I could not figureout how something was supposed to work in the new van was not a problem for Don. He took care of my old van, and now he's taking care of my new one. You should give them a try for your next service, you will be treated like you matter. That has not always been my experience at other dealerships.

I didnt end up buying a car from this dealership, but its not because of the dealership. They were great. Greg followed up with me many many times and worked to get me the best deal possible. the only reason I didnt buy a car from them was that I did some research on the car I wanted to buy (a Dodge Caliber) and it ended up getting terrible reliability ratings. If you're in the market for a Dodge product I would recommend them strongly.
