James (Jimmy) D was amazing ! He was very responsive to all of my million and one questions. He was very patience when I had to push back the time I was coming in to finalize my car purchase. He was so kind in his approach about making my car purchase. I have been to other dealerships in the past few months but Schumacher Chevrolet Inc make me feel special and comfortable to buy my car. I was amazed at all the need to knows that Jimmy gave me when I was about to test drive, although I did my research you could tell that he was well versed in all of the Chevrolet cars inside and out. The more knowledge Jimmy gave me about this Chevy Trailblazer , the more convinced I was that this was the car for me. You all did a great job!I was having trouble getting my car aligned properly at "another" dealer, and I was eating through front tires (at a Tire Rack price of $347.00 each).I remembered comparative shopping for another car at Schumacher, and it was a really good experience. I decided to give their Service Department a try for my difficult alignment.Well I couldn't be happier! They did a great job, and the car drives perfect now.The tire wear issue has gone away. The sales team at Schumacher has once again delivered on the car I wanted for the price I could afford. I have purchased two new Chevys this last year and each time my buying experience gets easier and with as little stress and haggling as possible. My Salesman Luis Ramos is by far the best salesman I've ever had the pleasure to do business with. I recommend Schumacher Chevrolet to all my friends and family. Parking is a little tight there but they are currently going through renovations so I'll say it's going to be worth it for the next time I do business with them.

I financed car from this dealer and they ran my credit to all banks without my authorization. I was approved by GM financial and got the car but when i came home still receiving letters of not approval from different banks. GM is their bank but why they tried with different banks, no sense. They just ruining the credit by enquirers. And also the car which i bought from them they said me its new only loan car with 1k miles without damages but i trusted them when i purchased and showed to my service shop the car is in small accident and repaired but you can see damage if you look carefully. 1 big question if a person will be approved by GM financial why these guys run credits to different banks firstly? And also we had good credit that GM approved us.

I recently purchased a used Chevy Impala from Schumacher Chevrolet in Little Falls. My salesman wasChris Stacy Jr. Chris is a great sales consultant. I explained to Cris what my needs and expectations were and in less than 30 minutes we had a deal. Chris found my a car that I liked, we went for a test drive, he got me a very fair deal on my trade and saved me a decent amount of money on the asking price. There were a few service related issues on my car but Chris's after sale customer service was just assuperb as it was initially. He worked with his service team car fixed on a timely basis and he made surethat I was not charged the $50 minimum that was part of my protection plan. This happened twice as my radio had to be replaced because I kept getting disc errors when I tried playing them. The locks also had to be rewired as they were not all working electronically. Chris and the service agreed that I should not pay these minimums because the car should have been problem free so soon after the purchase. I also got a brand new equinox as a courtesy loaner each team.It turns out that Chris's dad who is now a sales manager there sold me my first Impala about 10 years ago at this same location. customer service expertise runs in the Stacy family.I highly recommend seeing Chris and the Schumacher team to anyone who is in the market for anew or used Car,Steve S.

Just a little background history, I have been dealing with SC for the greater part of 30 Years, like most businesses there have been good times and not so good times. I can ( and will) say with the utmost confidence that SC has stepped up their game to a level most dealers will never reach, and I do not give praise lightly. OK, so here's the scope, I own a fairly new Jeep Wrangler and like most buyers wanted to "Spice" it up a little bit by modifying it to it's potential. My plan was simple, lift, exhaust / air box, simple visual mods and new tires. BTW, ALL being done without stepping foot into a Jeep Dealership, as I have ZERO Love for Chrysler Or Jeep, outside of my Wrangler.Here's where SC came into play , upon visiting SC during the Memorial Day Weekend, I spoke with Jeff about getting new tires for my Wrangler, he said to let him know and he would introduce me to Bruce (in parts). Fast forward to August, I took Jeff up on his offer. Being a savvy shopper I gave Jeff my quote from Tire Rack and Jeff explained that they use a different structure from dealers since they by in bulk and charge shipping to their customers, but he let me know he would get me the best price possible. After agreeing on the price I spoke with Bruce (to give him my approval), Bruce got everything on order the next day and had the tires delivered the following day to the shop. Upon that I made my service appointment for that Friday.Anyone that knows me knows my vehicles are my kids, and I trust them with no one, with that said as much as I could not wait to get the tires put on I feared and anything going wrong. From the minute I stepped into the service department my mind was put to ease, they welcomed me with a smile and had me signed in very quickly. The service department was busy, to say the least, BUT they took time with me and every customer and answered EVERY question I had from trivial to important (like proper PSI), I was amazed at the level of professionalism from everyone! The tech assigned to my car worked as if he was working on a classic car owned by himself, he did not rush or cut corners, he did everything with time and patience so as not to damage or rush the process, a true expert at his craft!When all was said and done they even offered me transportation (of my old tires) back to my home so I would not have to make a special trip back.Bravo to everyone at Schumacher Chevy, Judy, Steven and their team have won my respect and ultimately won me as a future service / parts customer, hands down! I would not think twice to recommend their dealership, Judy's accolades are well deserved and her father would be proud of how she kept his dream alive!

I had a small issue but I was immediately contacted by Fred Lax for solution. I went to the Denville location and met with Tom Rezza the pre-owned sales manager. Tom and the sales person David Rose were extremely professional and courteous. Friendly people and willing to work a deal with you and most important will not let a customer walk away unhappy.

I walked into Schumacher not ready or willing to give up my current SUV. Because of this, I hadn't done any research or had any idea what car would be best for me; I just knew that unfortunately for me, I needed a new car and fast! Within 5 minutes of speaking with Christopher Stacy Jr., I was immediately at ease. He listened intently, and right off the bat, gave me some options for my next vehicle. He was incredibly knowledgeable and never made me feel pressured to make a decision faster than I was ready. One thing I was set on, was a sun roof. He told us he had to do some digging, but he would get back to us. Less than a half hour later, Chris called and said he had something that had everything I was looking for. I was pretty much sold as soon as I saw it! He got me a great deal, there was never a hassle, and I absolutely love my new Equinox! I will refer anyone who's looking for a new car, to definitely check out Schumacher Chevrolet!!

The maintenance desk was very friendly and honest with me. They stated that it would be about a one hour wait. I was car shopping anyway, so that was fine. It was finished in less time and the maintenance rep came out to the yard to inform me that my car was ready whenever I was. I have been to other dealers and the car would have been done and unless I checked, I would not have know when it was done. That extra step was noticed. That is true customer service. Thank You.

I spoke to Leo Hernandez prior to coming down and I told him I didn't have an money to put down on a new lease and I didn't want to waste his time. He contacted me shortly afterwards and said "come down, I can definitely help you". Without any haggling, Leo (with the help of Chris Stacey), was able to get me out of my current lease early, into a 2016 Cruz and with only the first month's payment due (which was even less than what I was paying for). I hate car Shopping, but Leo, Chris and the entire Schumacher Team make car shopping a stress free experience!

Due to a defective electronic module the message unit stated to Service Airbags. This kept the air bags from functioning. It was ordered and replaced. No more service messages.

I've always been treated well here however this is the first time I felt I was being up sold on something. They were pushing throttle body service. I declined because I've read that you need to do that every 30000 miles and I'm around 22000. Then I overheard them pitching that service to others who were also waiting for their cars. They told an older woman that it was necessary to get the car ready for the winter. This is the first time I felt they were trying to squeeze money out of me however I will return because they've always given me good service in the past.

this was my first time using the service dept. I was impressed with the staff and waiting room. I was told it would take approx 1 hour and my car was ready and waiting at the door for me exactly 1 hour later. The only negative was having to walk through the garage in order to get to the restrooms. It would've been nice to have a customer restroom near the waiting area, but otherwise I was very pleased

I needed the truck to take two of my children back to school the week that I bought it. Knowing this, Chris Jr. put together a very fair deal on our Equinox lease and because of my timeframe, even arranged a loaner car to be available for our trip as a contingency. I am typically skeptical when hearing that a dealership treats you like family but I'm completely won over. Everyone I dealt with there, Chris Jr. in particular, was phenomenal and have earned my business and my appreciation. If you are in the market for a Chevrolet, they should be your first stop. It will save you a lot of hassle!

Our problem in our 2013 Cruze LTZ is that the onboard GPS will not accept verbal commands. Almost every time, after speaking in a destination, the GPS "voice" takes us to a different city in a different state. It turns out that this is not only my problem but others as well. We must wait for a fix from GM. In the meantime we are using another type of verbal command, which seems to be working at this time. Thanks, Dave for all your help.

Gauge, on my way to work, was running hotter than normal.Headed straight for Schumacher without any thought. Steve took care of the situation & had someone drive me to work in Bloomfield which is so important to me. Called me after 11 am to say it was the thermostat. I gave them the go ahead,of course. I was picked up at 5 pm & the job was done. After asking a few questions I was put at ease by service dept. This is my 2nd experience buying a preowned car from Schumacher Chevy. My first experience was in 2008 when I bought my Chevy colbalt. The car salesman are always honest, down to earth, and will never pressure you into a sale. The reason I went to Chevy was so that my 16 year old brother could get a car. When I got there I found a 2014 Chevy cruise LTZ which I loved. I got good money for my 2008 colbalt in the trade. My car salesman, Jim Durkin went out of his way to make sure I was happy with what I was buying. Although my brother did not find something the day I bought my car, we went back to Jim after dealing with other subpar dealerships. My brother also ended up with a 2014 cruise LTZ. Once again me and my family are HIGHLY SATISFIED with this dealership. This is the best place to go to when looking for any car new or preowned vehicles. They have the best deals and the most caring salesmen.

I had no problems with the dealership on my last visit. As a matter of fact I was quite surprised. My head gaskets need to be replaced, and the owner of the dealership, along with her service manager, was able to have me bring my car in for this repair, at very little cost to me. At the time I was going to turn in my 2012 Equinox, I was seriously thinking of going to Jeep because I was not happy with the service I got one day at the Little Falls dealership. But then, I got a phone call from Chris Stacy Senior and all of that changed. He was extremely attentive, found me the car I was looking for at a reasonable price. He then assigned Chris Stacy Jr. to assist me with the rest of the paperwork once I agreed to sign a new lease. Everything they both did from that phone call on was excellent! Love that they offered me a ride home while I left my truck there. Very nice touch. Although other issues were found during the inspection, I felt I wasn't being pushed into agreeing to the additional expenses but did because I felt completely confident with their decissions. Thank you, for sending me postcards advising that that my 2012 Sonic has two recalls. But I took the day off work, and scheduled service just to get the recall issues fixed. After two and a half hours of waiting for my car to be repaired, I was told that the recall parts were not in stock and I need to come back. Why did you give me an appointment when I clearly advised that I was coming in to address the recall? Get it together, Schumacher!

I was able to schedule my appointment for 7:30 am. I arrived at 7:15 am and the service team immediately welcomed me and took the vehicle in for service. I was driving off the lot before 8:15 am. The service at Schumacher is top notch. I leased my 2013 Chevy Traverse from their sales team and look forward to getting my next car from them next year when the lease is up.

I had an appointment with service department I feel confident with Schumacher Service Department-the manager, Mr. Glossy, the staff and the very knowledgeable mechanics. They are very customer oriented and take time with a customer to listen to him/her; they explain the problem and the method of solution so the customer understands clearly.I have shopped cars at many places and had my cars in those various service departments, but have never been treated as well in any purchase or servicing as I have experienced at this dealership.

The service people I talked to were great. The only problem I had was the tires were checked and the monitoring system was reset. The next morning the system caution warning was on and I have to make another trip back to the dealer to get it looked at which is an inconvenience, especially if I have to leave the truck. As long as I get a loaner vehicle it will be a hassle but fine. Everything else was fine and a good experience

They worked great as a team. Test drove vehicle while they checked out my trade in. Rare for dealers, they negotiated a little bit via email because I was out of state and it was along drive, so I needed them to commit to a range on trade in and sales price in advance. They kept their word. And the negotiation process was not painful....Very fair, good team. Highly recommend.

As for the price, another sales person at a Chevy dealership less than 10 miles away had the audacity to say I was lying about the price I was quoted and not to waste his time. No bs pricing is one of the many reasons to why Schumacher has an excellent reputation and is known as the dealership to go to for Chevy in NJ. Crane Chevrolet in Clifton,NJ is also at the top of the list but they did not have the truck we were looking for in stock. Go to Schumacher or Crane, don't waste your time at other dealerships. If you stop by Schumacher, ask for Leo. What a nice guy!

everything was great and has always been great here. my only issue was my wife brought in the truck and it needed a new tire and they told her it was going to be $200 without checking if we had tire coverage. she had 3 kids with her and was trying to reach me at work and almost said ok until she finally got me and i told her about the tire coverage. if she didn't reach me, she would have just paid the money. i wish they would check these things before just throwing out prices.

Everyone is friendly and accommodating. Salesmen in the showroom, manager at service desk, technician servicing my car all treated me as though I were the only customer. In spite of the snow and their work load, they took their time and answered all my questions about my car and my concerns. The technician also helped adjust and reset the memory seat on my car as well as all other required maintenance and oil change.

My car was brought in to repair a defective defroster and after the initial appointment was made, the battery died. The technicians repaired the defroster and replaced the battery. We also ordered a new key as one was recently lost. Since the work would take a little longer than was originally planned, they offered us an option of taking us home or using a car to get around on our own. We declined but thanked them for the courtesy. We have found over the years that the people at Schumacher go out of their way to make the customer happy.

I am a Pediatric nurse that does home visits to my patients on 12/15 my car suddenly lost most of its power while I was on my way to work. I immediately drove into the dealership (without an appointment). The service department at Schumachers immediately assisted me and got me a loaner car! I was shocked as I just assumed I was going to have to call in sick to work and cancel all my visits to my patients. I was in and out of the dealer in probably 15 minutes. I drove to work and within an hour the service department called me and said they figured out what was wrong with my car and it would be fixed and ready later that day. I am also in graduate school at night and go right from my job to college on Mondays. The service department told me that it was fine I could bring the loaner car back the next morning and pick up my car then. I started my day out very stressed thinking I was going to have to stay home from work, cancel my nursing visits to my patients, and miss school as well. None of this occurred I was helped so quickly I wasn't even late for work. I am very pleased with the service I received on 12/15/2014.

I went to Shumacher to price shop on a 2015 Malibu lease. Not only did Shumacher come in with the lowest lease price, the Salesperson Danny was dead on with his product knowledge of the car, lease options and paid 100% attention to my needs. My only negative was that after the initial meeting he was hard to get in contact with and I wasn't sure if/when I was getting my vehicle. Other than that everything was smooth and he showed me how to use the onstar which I am clueless about. The financial manager was a great guy but could go through paperwork a little more slowly (maybe he was just rushing because I was the last customer on a Saturday?). Overall I felt things were great and I would definitely send friends and family there.

My experience was good. My only issue was the lenght of time I had to wait for an appointment. I had a two week vacation and I called for an appt., general service, oil change, tire rotation, etc. and was told next available was 3 weeks away. I then had to wait two months for my next day off and made an on-line appt. a month in advance. I stayed loyal to service at the dealer even though everyone I know told me never have service at the dealer and I could drive into a place same day ang get service.

My wife's Cruize had to be towed in for a leaking water pump. I was immediately greeted by a young man in the parking lot while the car was being off loaded from the tow truck. He directed me to the service writer's office. That office got the check in and interview with me started right away while your office personnel had me set up with a loaner car. The whole process took about ten minutes and I was on my way back home. Service called around three o'clock to say that my wife's Cruize was ready for pick up and that there would be no charge for the towing, the loaner, and the service since the car was purchased as a GM pre owned certified car. Thank you for making this, what potentially could have been a very costly and unpleasant experience if not for your very knowledgeable and professional staff. I am surprised that the water pump had to be replaced since the car has only 37k miles on it. However, the service writer informed me that there was a recall for a possible water coolant issue directed for the 2011 Cruize. He told me that they also performed the recall repair while the car was there. He said that it was probably the issues related to the recall that cause the water pump to fail. I now realize that we should have brought the car in sooner after receiving the recall notice. Thank you and your staff for the excellent and very efficient service.

I had my 2009 HHR serviced to replace the sway bar bushings and to complete two recall items (power steering motor and ignition switch). What was great was since it was a two day process Shumacher gave me a courtesy car to use at no charge. Each one was very helpful and knowledgeable pertaining to their piece of servicing me. It was clear who they learned their mannerism skills from once I met the owner. David was not beyond stepping outside of his role to make my visit easier. It is this type of top-down leadership that permeates throughout this service center that made my time spent their less stressful. My hat is off to them..

The car was fought in for an oil change and one year service. I said I would wait and was told the wait time would be about an hour. In less than 1 hour I was called and all work was done. I was very pleased with the purchase of this 2013 Cruze and the staff in the service department!

Always a pleasant experience at SCHUMACHER CHEVROLET. You don't get that at "most" other car dealers. However, there are exceptions, (one here in my town where our son just least his Malibu from ... They were very nice to us, as well ). "Most" other car dealers don't come close to the experience that SCHUMACHER CHEVROLET offers, because the people are just genuine. There's no "phonies" or "counterfeit" people. I can honestly say that SCHUMACHER CHEVROLET was the first car dealer I was ever in that I didn't "cringe" when the Sales Representative: "Rita" came over to speak with my wife and me. I had water leaking into the trunk. It was difficult for the tech to find.It turned out there was more than one source. It took them several days before I got my car back. That was a few weeks ago. After two or three thundershowers and torrential rain overnight on 5/15, the leak has apparently been been fixed.

I was disappointed once again in you Service Dept. ( my second vehicle purchase at schumacher). The car was suppose to be certified, however upon registering with ONSTAR we were immediatley advised there was an issue with one of the tire monitors. We immediatley took the car back to have it serviced. When I picked it up I asked " I would have thought this problem would have been picked up when he car was maintained for certification" Manager: Oh you can pick up on this only if the car tells you. I find that funny since ONSTAR notified me before the car did. Which leads me to now believe the car was not fully serviced for certification. When I first met with Jimmy D, I mentioned the difficulty I was having in getting both my wife and I to test drive a car. Unlike other dealers who wanted my wife to schedule a test drive, he simply gave me the keys and said "take the car home and have her test drive it while you take care of the kids". I took the car home, my wife was able to inspect it without pressure. Test drove it and decided it was to become our next car.

My experience with Schumacher Chevrolet was incredible from start to finish. After submitting a request online for a lease quote on a 2014 Volt, I was quickly contacted by Kathleen from their Internet Sales team. We discussed what I was looking for, and she set me up with a preliminary quote and an appointment for a test drive. When I came in for my test drive, I was introduced to TJ, who is an exceptional member of the Schumacher team. He did a walk through of the Volt, and took me out for a test drive. He was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle and was able to answer all of my questions. When it came time to discuss lease terms, TJ made the entire process very smooth. He helped me get a fair price for my trade-in and a monthly payment that I was comfortable with, and for a cash down payment that was much less than I was expecting. He followed up with me throughout the week, providing updates on when my vehicle would arrive at the dealership and when I could schedule a pickup. The pickup process was also extremely smooth, with TJ providing a thorough walkthrough of the vehicle and its many amazing features. I left the dealership that night feeling completely satisfied with my car buying experience. TJ is very professional and extremely good at what he does. My experience at Schumacher Chevy was like dealing with family. Not only did my son lease a car using Bruce as the salesman but I returned just several days later to lease a new Silverado using T.J. as the salesman. Mark Rodriguez oversaw both sales with great professionalism as well as Joe Filangieri in finance was phenomenal. I most likely will be returning next week with close friend who is looking to purchase a new Tahoe. The family atmosphere and family treatment made it feel different than any other vehicle purchase that I have ever made. I will definitely recommend Schumacher Chevy to everyone and look forward to more new Schumacher cars in years to come. Thank you Schumacher Team for your family treatment and customer dedication. After dealing with several Chevy dealerships I physically went there after locating a specific interior that I was interested in. I went there and was honest right from the beginning, explaining that I was only there to see the interior because I was thinking about buying a car in the spring and wanted that interior. Jeff Schumacher not only showed me the car that they had on their lot with the interior but he was the first person in any of the dealerships to give me the book of the car. He was so helpful, friendly and genuine that I asked him if they would be able to get the car I was looking for sooner. He got the car I wanted from another dealership, and was never pushy nor did he try to sell me something I didn't want. After dealing with four other sales people who basically acted like they couldn't be bothered with helping me, I was so happy that I walked into Schumacher Chevrolet. I also dealt with Joe Filangieri who was very helpful and informative, making great recommendations for what type of options I should get for my car. Rita Hernandez was also very helpful and I was so appreciative that she show me how to use various things on my car. Besides the fact that I absolutely love my car, I was so please with my experience there and will be recommending their dealership to anyone interested in a Chevy car. As soon as I noticed a problem with the engine temp., we called for an appt. and were told to bring it in as soon as possible. Received a loaner car and the thermostat was replaced within one business day. Excellent service

I was looking for my first new car so that I could have a reliable form of transportation as I continue my studies. I spoke with Allison and Jimmy D who were able to locate the exact model I was looking for and got an amazing deal in the process, and all during finals week! I had a very annoying whirring noise coming from under the front of my 2009 HHR. I had no idea what it was, but your service department found it and had it repaired within 4 hours from the time I dropped the car off. It was also covered under my drive train warranty so it cost me nothing. I couldn't have been happier, especially right before the holiday season. David Brain was my advisor and for the second time using Schumacher Chevrolet I could't be more pleased. You guys are a class act in every respect. Thank you all.

I actually still cannot get over how easy my new (pcertified used) car purchase was.. It was all too perfect, After researching Schumacher Certified Equinox inventory, I decided to go up one Saturday afternoon. This is when I met the friendliest dealer I have ever met, Rita Hernandez. I gave her the amount I wanted to spend and what specifics that I wanted in the Equinox.While we were talking, looking at some cars, Rob came over to us. After hearing what I wanted, he stated that an Equinox had just come in that week with the features I was looking for.. It was perfect, had everything I asked for, low mileage and even a better price that I wanted.. so normally I was skeptical. The 3 of us sat down, talked numbers.. I don't have the best credit in the world, so I was nervous, but they were fully aware of what it was and worked with me on what they thought my monthly would be, literally within $10 of what I told them I wanted to spend. I left there that Saturday to go to some dealers that I had appointments with, but something about me just felt so much more comfortable with Schumacher, I don't even know why I wasted my time... Rita called to follow up with me on this Equinox on Monday and I decided this was the car that I wanted..We talked everyday that week. I was in shock how simple it was for this purchase, we literally did everything over phone calls and emails, she responded to every question, even if I asked it more than once.. That next Saturday, I walked in, met with Rita, she sent me to Joe. Joe was my paperwork guru, he and I walked through all the details and he explained everything I was signing and why..Here I am, one week after walking into this dealer and I walked out with this Equinox that I have always wanted Like I said, I still cannot believe what a great and overall stress free experience I had here.. Ann Ulrich was great, she spent time getting to know what was important to me. She took initiative and found me a truck that was as close as I could get to what I told her I wanted. After I decided to purchase a new car, I sent an e-mail to this dealership with the specifications I was interested in. Allison was very quick with a detailed reply and a quotation for the vehicle I wanted. At all times I felt that she and the dealership were very responsive and interested in helping me with as much information as possible before even stepping into the dealership. I thought I was offered a fair price for the car. After I went ahead with the purchase, Leo, the sales consultant, was very helpful with all the stages of the purchase. Also, when I picked up the car, he presented all the features of the car very thoroughly and waited until OnStar was set up, even after closing hours. I was very happy with this purchasing experience, and I think it was as hassle-free and pressure-free as I could have wanted it. I would definitely recommend this dealership.

I've been leasing cars from Honda for he past 15 years. My lease for my Fit was almost up. I wanted a heavier vehicle something like a SUV.Honda started giving me the run around about the monthly payments, which were outragious. So on the way home my son stopped by the Schumacher Chevrolet. While getting out of the car his girlfriend said to me,your son is trying to get you to lease a chevy instead of Honda. He's a true Chevy man. So we walked around and looked at some vehicles and got a brochure on the Equinox. Before we could leave Jim Durkin came out and started talking to my son and myself. I work in the Police and Fire Academy in Mahwah and my son is a correction officer for the state of NJ. So they bonded. Jim being a former Police Officer. Jim talked to us and made me feel so comfortable. He told me that everything would be fine and to stop being so nervous about getting a car. I told him my wishes and what i could afford each month. He said no problem that he would do his best. Well, he accomplished what he promised. Jim even came in on his day off to make sure everything was ok when I signed and picked up my Chevy. I would like to say he is a great salesman and a great guy. I also would like to say I Love my Chevy Equinox, no more Honda's. I would also like to say thank you to the gentlemen who had me sign all the paperwork. He was so calm and patient. He put me at ease with all the paperwork. I was pleasantly please how quick the transaction went. I came in with a bad four year lease and needed a new smaller car to help me save gas. With the remaining money left of the lease, My rep helped me find a financing who can help me turn over the transaction and put me back in a 3 year lease. The payment came up a little higher because of my credit, but he managed to get me the top of the line model car and can save me money for gas and got me out of the negative situation with my old lease. They are very cordial, respectful and attentive to your needs. I would recommend Schumacher Chevrolet to my friends and family. In fact my husband is going back for his every day use care in a couple of months. We love Chevy and it helps to have the right people get you what you love.

I was driving through downtown Little Falls when my car radiator unexpectedly exploded! I took the path of least resistance and walked down the street to Schumacher Chevrolet. They were fantastic! Extemely positive and friendly environment. They are not located on a highway which means they rely on repeat customers, so obviously they take customer service seriously. I suspect you could save a few bucks somewhere else, but I doubt you would get the same level of service as from Schumacher.

From the moment I contacted Schumaker Chevrolet, via email I was treated with respect and courtesy. The staff worked around my needs and time schedule and did not pressure me into making an appointment. From our very first contact with this dealership my wife and I knew Schumacher Chevrolet deserved top marks. Schumacher's web site was setup so we could search for a 2013 Chevy Traverse 1LT with the trailering package we needed. Our experience was that many NJ Chevy dealer web sites don't bother to let you search by packages or options or they have results from searches that have hidden prices saying "call for price". That's just lazy! Take note other dealers : As customers, our answer to that is if you want the call, display it ALL. After we requested an email quote, Allison Lastfogel quickly found a matching vehicle and sent a friendly, well-organized quote which showed everything in a no-nonsense, easy-to-understand format. We had sent out a LOT of requests for quote but many other dealers don't seem to understand the email quoting process. In fact, quite a few simply left the task of finding a real vehicle to us or worse-yet, emailed us quote numbers in a rambling, haphazard way. I send quote requests for a living and I've never seen so many quotes based on "ficticious" or "typical" product. Again, this is just lazy. If you can't sell me a real car then DON'T send me a quote. Other area dealers could learn a thing or two from Allie at Schumacher ! We decided to visit Allison at the dealership and go for a test drive in a similar Traverse without discussing any deal. That's when we met Rita. She went with us on the drive and guess what? There was zero pressure during or after that drive. We have to admit this was quite impressive and reason alone to buy a car from Schumacher. We were actually sold at that point. Rita located the vehicle at another dealer based on Allison's search and arranged a no-obligation swap. Easy peasy! Then a few days later we came in, met again with Rita, and then Jeff Schumacher and well, we bought that car for an excellent price. Listen, we're a retired-military family so we've bought many new and used cars from dealers across the country and overseas. Take it from us, Schumacher Chevrolet was hands-down THE BEST and most enjoyable experience we've ever had buying a car.

Our experience was that many NJ Chevy dealer web sites don't bother to let you search by packages or options or they have results from searches that have hidden prices saying "call for price". That's just lazy! As customers, our answer to that is if you want the call, display it ALL. New slogan for the Chevy industry...:-)After we requested an email quote, Allison Lastfogel quickly found a matching vehicle and sent a friendly, well-organized quote which showed everything in a no-nonsense, easy-to-understand format. We sent out a LOT of requests for quote. Many other dealers don't seem to understand the email quoting process. In fact, quite a few simply left the task of finding a real vehicle to us or worse-yet, emailed us quote numbers in a rambling, haphazard way. I send quote requests for a living and I've never seen so many quotes based on "ficticious" or "typical" product. Again, this is just lazy. If you can't sell me a real car then DON'T send me a quote. Other area dealers could learn a thing or two from Allie at Schumacher !We decided to visit Allison at Schumacher and go for a test drive in a similar Traverse without discussing any deal. That's when we met Rita. She went with us on the drive and guess what? There was zero pressure during or after that drive. We have to admit this was quite impressive and reason alone to buy a car from Schumacher. We were actually sold at that point. Rita located the vehicleat another dealer based on Allison's search and arranged a no-obligation swap.Then a few days later we came in, met with Rita, and then Jeff Schumacher and well, we bought that car for an excellent price.Listen, we're a retired-military family so we've bought many new and used cars from dealers across the country and overseas. Take it from us, Schumacher Chevrolet was hands-down THE BEST and most enjoyable experience we've ever had buying a car.

The sales manager Mark was professional & friendly. Leo was very helpful when I picked up my new car and spent a lot of time helping me set up my Bluetooth, radio settings and all the other features that were new & unfamiliar to me. This is the 5th vehicle I've purchased at Schumacher. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Service Dept leaves a lot to be desired. I would not buy another car from Schumacher for this reason. We had a remote starter installed and the service tech handed me the keys back without giving me any instruction on how to use it. We have a Chevy Traverse.....I have had more headlight bulbs go out on it than all off the cars I previuosly owned.

TJ is probably one of the best salesmen of any kind that I've seen; constant contact, making sure my needs come first, extremely friendly. I felt no pressure while at the dealership too. Gave me everything I needed without forcing me to buy any additional add-ons.

After having electrical/Traction Control & Stabilizer problems with my Equinox I stopped in at Schumacher Chevrolet who put me at ease. I had a computer diagnostic report done and was assured my car was in good condition. I had a dashboard display switch ordered for one that was not working properly and will have that installed next week. They also provided me with a ride to my office & called me & picked me up when the work was done as promised. I definitely will continue with Schumacher as my #1 Dealer and when I am ready to purchase a new vehicle I will head straight to them. Thank You

I had been looking for a specific car for 3 weeks and had been promised the car by two different dealerships near me in Virginia, only to be told at the last second that they wouldn't get the car for me because it was too much hassle. So I made an online contact request with Schumacher Chevy and by the next morning, Kathleen had emailed me a price below MSRP and way below what the other dealerships were offering, saying she would be happy to hold the car for me. TJ and Mark then walked me through the process, answered all of my questions, and always got back to me within an hour of my email or call. I took a bus 5 hours up to NJ to get the car, and when I got there, everything was ready to go and there were no surprises. They didn't play games like most dealerships, they were very straight forward and professional, and the 5 hour trip was totally worth it to deal with such friendly people!! They didn't try to pressure me or suggest a different car (the car I bought was very inexpensive, even moreso after they made me such a great offer) and I will absolutely be back when I need another car!!!

My husband and I had the best experience in a car dealership ever. I am glad that it was Jim who saw us first from the first time we stepped into the schumacher offfice. He did not pressure nor tried to persuade us in our decision but he gave us all the options we have that's within our budget. Customer service was great and the overall experience was excellent! They treated us like family and would highly recommend this dealership especially the sales rep JIM DURKIN! I just love my chevrolet Cruze! :)

Schumacher provided by far the most pleasant automobile buying experience I have ever encountered. Having bought numerous cars over the years and even having worked in car sales for a (thankfully) short while I did not believe a dealership like this existed. I started with an internet inquiry and received an Email from Kathleen Ryan who actually answered my questions and kept me informed for a period of 3 months. I even went to visit because one day. The day I finally came to test drive I was helped by Rita Hernandez who most likely didn't think I was actually there to buy that day. I did buy but Rita had family obligations and my transition to Anne was seamless. Even the finance manager was low key and helpful. I hate car dealerships and the whole confrontational childish games that are usually played but I would totally recommend Schumacher Chevrolet to anyone.

My first intial contact from this dealer came in form of email. I sent out a general inquiry to my area chevrolet dealers for a quote on a 2012 Traverse. Many dealers responded but none answered my main question which was in regards to pricing. The only person to do that was Allison from Schumacher Chevrolet. She was never pushy in her emails. We made our choice and decision from our initial contact..."thank you Allison". I made an appointment to test drive the vehicle on Saturday. When my family and I arrived at the dealer we were made to feel at home. There was a bbq going on in the back and Rita pulled away immediately and came over to see if we needed anything. She never pressured us into getting a car. She asked us for our preferences and we took a test drive. My husband and I were happy with the car and from there we spoke numbers and what we were able to do and not what the dealer wanted us to do. It was a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this family and friends...anytime. We will surely come back again and again.

Friendliness, respect, absolutely people-friendly, extremely polite, positive attitude from everyone. We purchased a beautiful pre-owned Chevy Malibu and when we arrived to pick it up, it was like showroom new. Definitely a place to shop for new or used and worth the trip if you are in doubt about traveling a distance. They make it worth your while. We can see why Schumacher Chevrolet in Little Falls, NJ is a successful dealership. Their "family" as they refer to themselves, are definitely the kindest, most willing to work with you, people I have ever encountered. I went to Schumacher Chevrolet looking to buy my first (new) car. I was a little hesitant as I had never purchased anything this expensive in my life before, but everyone there made the experience much easier for me. Rob Morath helped me with the purchase and was extremely helpful. He went over all the features of the car (2012 Malibu) in great detail and did an excellent job in making me feel comfortable with the car. Rob was very personable, honest, and friendly. Not once did I feel like I was being pressured into buying the car. After taking the car out for a test drive I decided on purchasing the Malibu. We took care of the paperwork quite quickly and within a few days I was driving around in my new car and couldn't be happier. My first experience buying a car was a very enjoyable one thanks to everyone at Schumacher.

Last week I bought a Chevy Cruze from Schumacher Chevy, and my experience with the dealership was highly positive in every respect. My initial contact was with Allison Lastfogel via the internet. Unlike EVERY single other dealership I contacted in that manner, she gave me exactly the information that I requested. I followed up with a phone call, and Allison couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. She found a rebate that none of the other dealerships seemed aware of, and she made some suggestions about my purchase and my trade-in that I hadn't considered. When I dropped by the dealership, Ann Ulrich, a sales rep, handled the sale. She was super! This was a no nonsense sale, no stress, smooth transaction with none of the frustrations I had already experienced at another dealership....you know the tactics: the sales rep makes you wait while he formulates a price, sees that you don't like it, leaves you sitting for another 10 minutes, returns with a lower offer, sees that you are about to leave, tells you to hold on while he checks with the sales manager, returns with a slightly lower offer. Allison and Ann, however, first thing gave me a lower price than I received from the other dealership via that frustrating process. How refreshing! Schumacher had a nice inventory of the Cruze including 2 of the exact model and features I wanted, and they were in my top two choices of color. Schumacher was the only dealership of five I contacted to have the exact car on their lot. When I picked up the new car, Ann was great in explaining how everything worked, which was most helpful as some of the features were a bit foreign to me. She is so nice and so patient and such a nice person. I've been buying new cars for over 30 years, and this by far was the quickest and easiest deal I've consummated. I highly recommend Schumacher; do yourself a favor and visit the dealership. They really do have a friendly, family atmosphere and take the agony out of car buying.

My parents HIGHLY recommended that we go to Schumacher Chevy for our next vehicle. So, when our lease on our vehicle was ending & my husband & I knew that we wanted an AWD Equinox,there was never a question where we would go to get it, DEFINITELY Shumacher Chevy. We had heard such wonderful things from my parents who both bought their vehicles from them and had such extremely positive experiences every step of the way that there was no way we would even think of going elsewhere. They couldnt speak highly enough about the entire Schumacher family. The evening we went in with my parents, Chris thought Robert Morath would be a great salesperson for us & he couldnt have been more right!! We were extremely happy with Robert, who is a great asset to the "Schumacher Family". Besides being very friendly, as were all of the employees that we came across during our time there, he was also very knowledgeable & accomadating. I really can not say enough about our experience there. I dont think i could ever go elsewhere after dealing with such a great group of people. Last year I purchased a vehicle from another dealer and left with a bad taste in my mouth from the obvious, stereotypical dealer patronizing and tactics you read about on the internet before buying a vehicle.Schumacher employees seemed to respect me and not pull any of those come-on tricks that can stress out someone with limited car buying experience. The internet department wasn't pushy, and was there for me every step of the way. Tom, our salesman, was great and made the process easier than I thought. Any future vehicle I buy will be bought at Schumacher and I will highly recommend them to anybody. I also like that it is Female owned and was impressed about the history of Schumacher that I saw on tv about how they helped supply the military during WWII. I'm very pleased in every aspect. I have never dealt with a car salesman who was as accomodating as Leo. He matched me up with the perfect vehicle and optioned it as requested. He was competent, friendly, and honored all commitments. He also helped me through the learning process with great ease, so that I felt extremely comfortable driving it away from the showroom. I would defeinitely buy a vehicle from Schumacher again. On a mopre personal note, when I was a little girl I would visit my grandmother on Main Street and would walk down to the park to play and climb on the tank. I would look at the shiny cars as I walked by, never thinking I would one day be driving one away from there.Thank you for a great vehicle and your great service.

I was looking for a safe and completive priced SUV for my daughter with concern for safety ratings. Once I told Robert Morath what I was looking for in a vehicle, he suggested the 2012 Chevy Equinox as a possible good fit. He then proceeded on going over all the vehicle features and thoroughly explaining each one of them. He then let my daughter test drive the vehicle to see if she felt comfortable drive it. I never felt pressured to complete the deal. From start to finish it was a pleasure to deal with him. On the day of the delivery he spent a good amount of time with my daughter going over all the features and made sure that she felt comfortable with her new vehicle. As she needed the car for a trip to Maine, Robert went out of his way to get us the plates processed quickly. The staff at Schumacher Chevrolet are courteous, friendly and most important knowledgeable about their products. As we were ready to sign the paper work, we even met the owner; I guess we are now truly part of the Schumacher family. I had a fantastic experience at Schumacher. I was interested in a specific Chevy Volt they had in stock and I was just finished with an exhausting two week battle with another dealer trying to get the same car. I called up Allison and we worked out a deal that same day. The next day I went to pick up the car and drove it home. Leo and Allison both worked through the financing with me and gave a fair price with no hassles. Quick turn around at the dealership and no tricks or pushing. I'll be returning there for service based on their actions, even when I have closer dealers nearby.

We haven't had a domestic car in our garage for over 20 years, and were hesitant about buying one now. The team at Schumacher were informative and answered all our questions. We were impressed with the quality and features of the Chevy Suburban. We searched our local dealerships of GMC and Chevrolet, and found the best deal and best condition 2011 pre-owned car online at Schumacher. We drove over 2 hours to get to the dealership from our home, and they had no problem when we wanted to take it to a mechanic to check it out before signing anything. The SUV we purchased was immaculate. They were friendly and helpful. They told us to call anytime if we had any questions about any of the features of the car. Not one bit pushy and were completely sincere in their desire to help us. It was a family atmosphere. The experience was so nice, I'd consider driving 2 hours again to purchase our next car.

I, like many of you probably enjoy going to a car dealership as much as going to the dentist for root canal. Visiting TJ at Schumacher Chevrolet has changed my opinon of this perception and I can say I will never buy a new car from anywhere but Schumacher. From the moment I arrived on the lot I was not pressured one bit. They allowed me to look around for a vehicle that caught my eye and were very open to me test driving a number of vehicles. Once I choose the vehicle that was to my liking, only then did TJ suggest that we go inside and look at some numbers. TJ explained all the options and made filling out the paper work very easy. When the day of delivery came I had the pleasure of working with Joe in the Finance department who was a rare breed from the typical finance guys who work at other dealerships. He was freindly and helpful when it came to explaining all the different forms that needed to be filled out. There was no surpise charges or fees that were on the contracts after the fact and was not pushy at all when it came to "selling" the other options that I could add onto the vehicle. I would also like to commend the entire staff as to when we took delivery it was just about closing time and they were just great with my two kids, entertaining them around the show room.Between great selection and great customer service, this really puts Schumacher at the head of the class when it comes to car dealerships. It's no wonder they've been around for 80 years. I will not hesitate to recomend people to purchase their new vehicles there as well as making them my number one place to make any future purchases.

Kathleen and Mark worked with me to secure the best price in a timely manner which installed confidence in their ability to ensure I would have an excellent customer experience given that 90% of the transaction was conducted through the internet and phone. They had a car brought in which was exactly what I was looking for in options and pricing. The car was delivered without delay. Ann was assigned the task of introducing us to our newly purchased Tahoe on the day we came in to drive it home. She could not have been more friendly and patient as she explained all the features.

We previously purchased an Equinox from Schumacher Chevrolet. Rita was the salesperson who helped us. At that time, we were very satisfied with her and the dealership in general. It was a very pleasant experience. This past August, our daughter was involved in a serious car accident which resulted in her totaling her car. Although she sustained a concussion, she is ok. This, however, necesitated us to replace her car. Since we had such a good experience with Schumacher previously, we decided to return to research purchasing either a pre-owned Equinox or a new one. I was in contact with Kathleen by e-mail and she got back to me very quickly with some suggestions. When we went to the dealership, we asked to see Rita because we felt we could trust her to find a car that would suit our needs. After much discussion and research, we decided to go with a new Equinox. Rita guided us through the entire process. She was kind, patient, and knowledgeable.

I was in a bind and needed to buy a used car. I blame Irene. From my first contact by phone I was treated with the utmost curteousy and respect. The staff were friendly and accomodating beyond what was expected. They did not say anything they did not mean and delivered everything they said. My Salesman Leo was very knowlegable and attentive. I got a better price than I expected and the Trailblazer I bought is great. I brought up a couple of issues and everything was taken care of to my satisfaction. I was walked through the entire process with every question answered. I have bought 4 vehicles from 4 different dealers and this is my fifth purchase. My next purchase will also be from Schumacher and the next and next... In plain English, buying a car is a rough experience in the best of times when time is not an issue. When rushed, it can be excrutiating. You always think I can do better somewhere else. (I had deposits at two other dealers in just in case.) Schumacher Chevrolet is the SOMEWHERE ELSE! PS. I was thrilled to drive to those other two dealers in my new truck and get my deposits back. They were p***ed!

After combing the internet for information, vehicle information, and dealer ratings, I decided to "stay in town" and purchase a 2012 AWD Chevrolet Equinox LS from Schumacher. The price was good, the people at the dealership were friendly, responsive and quick to answer any and all questions. I've only had the car for a few days but so far it's been everything I've expected and more. I will have more to say about their service department once I've brought the car in for its first scheduled maintenance.

I started on the internet and received an excellent quote. That quote brought me in the next day. There was only one more item to negotiate - my trade in. That too was right on as far as what I was expecting. So the deal was made. It was as simple as that.Everyone involoved was friendly and accomodating and very easy to deal with, It was a most enjoyable experience.I actually look forward to having my Chevy maintained at the dealership as well. The group at Schumacher is awesome! This is my second purchase from this dealership and as always they are fantastic to work with. I have bought both new and used from them I am not disappointed! Kathleen, OC, Joe and Ron are my new favorite group of superheros because that this what they are. Being a victim of the flooding caused by Hurricane Irene and having lost so much, the Schumacher team did everything they could to give me some hope back. I was able to select a vehicle and drive off the lot within 1 day! I will use Schumacher for all my future auto needs as I know I can't go wrong with them. They have been a ray of sunshine for me.

We did an internet search and found the vehicle we wanted, out of state. Most of the other local dealers wanted to sell us a four wheel drive Colorado they had on the lot, not the two wheel drive we wanted, or they tried to sell us on ordering a vehicle which takes weeks and is more expensive. Schumacher got our dream truck down from Connecticut quickly and painlessly. Schumacher Chevrolet gave us the best deal financially of all the dealers contacted. By bringing in the truck we wanted, Schumacher closed the deal quickly, which was important to us. After the sale we received an offer from Kathleen to give us a personal lesson on what all the new buttons and gadgets on the dashboard are, and how to operate them. Kathleen has also contacted us to make sure we were happy with the truck and the deal, which we are.Schumacher Chevrolet has a great selection of chocolate candy, small wrapped bars, in a big bowl on the desk and you can help yourself when you visit the showroom or office. The bowl gets refilled instantly when the supply gets low. There's a tv, a coffee table, comfy padded chairs, reading material, so if you're forced to wait for a repair or paperwork to go through, you can keep busy! Incentives and rebates were identified by salesperson upfront, did not have to ask about them. Gave a detailed item by item walk-through and explanation of pricing and costs. Quoted price was +/- $100 of others received. Very efficient and friendly with paper work & signatures.

I have always hated buying a car. Can't put my finger on "why"; Maybe just from "Guy talk"where everyone claims he has bested the salesman and got the deal of the year -- since I cannot haggle, I am always the pigeon with the worst deal of the century; Who could look forward to that !Amazingly, I just bought a new Chevy without haggling, but I'm convinced I got a really good deal. From the minute I walked into the showroom at SCHUMACHER CHEVROLET Inc on Main Street in Little Falls, New Jersey, I was comfortable and actually enjoyed the entire process. Everyone I dealt with was competent and friendly. They wanted to know what I wanted, and no one tried to upgrade me or sell me anything. They did offer a few suggestions and explained why I might want to consider them. I needed to purchase a used car. Being timid about walking into Dealerships with no info about any of their inventory, I started my search on the Internet. I found several cars that interested me and started contacting the Dealerships for further info. Schumacher Chevy was very prompt in answering my inquiry, gave me a quote, gave me details on the car. They even followed up with another message to be sure that I got the quote! Such service I have not seen. There was no pressure to visit the Dealership. When I went to the Dealership, I was treated with the same straight-forward openness and up-front manner as my e-mail contacts were. The staff was knowledgeable, informative but put no pressure on making the sale. I bought the car that I was inquiring about. Overall, the purchase experience was excellent, as is the car that I bought. I feel very lucky indeed - it's not easy to find an honest and straight-forward Car Dealership in this day and age. I recommend Schumacher Chevy with no reservations!

I honestly could not have asked for a better place to buy/lease a new car! Years ago I had a bad experience with a completely different dealership in another state and this experience being so wonderful almost completely wiped that bad experience away! TJ was nice, curteous, funny, had a great personality, professional, answered all my millions of questions and didn't try to take advantage of me being so young just to get a commission. It was refreshing! TJ & the rest of the staff exceeded my expectations & went above and beyond. Now I will not go anywhere else for a car! Great place & great people to work with! Highly recommended! Also, Kathleen the internet manager was super pleasant! I put in for financing online and received a call back within an hour to discuss my situation. Throughout the process she kept in touch with me and really took the time out to make sure everything had gone smoothly, which it did. =]

Kathleen provided a very competitive initial price via internet. The price was all inclusive and included all fees, etc as I requested. The only folks who followed my request. I went in for a test drive with Rita and she made it a smooth process. We worked out a price on the car and the deal was done. I was looking for a quick no hassle process nad that is what I got!

I contacted Schumacher Chevrolet to surprise my husband with a new Chevy Suburban since he was turning 40 and just returning home from a year long deployment in Iraq. I began my search on the internet and contacted Schumacher. Within 2 hours I had received two emails and two phone calls which I returned. I was very comfortable with them on the phone and visited the showroom. I met Chris Stacy and he put me with T J Brantner who helped me pick a vehicle, price, and test drive. I purchased the vehicle that day and left knowing everything was done professional and curtious. I purchase a car about every three years and only felt this comfortable about my dealings a few times and I will be back there to do business.

After doing some research I knew what car I wanted - the Chevy Cruze; just had to find the right place to purchase from. I sent out an Internet quote and received 3 replies back with Schumacher at the top of the list. Over the Internet they beat the other dealers by $100/mo. on a lease. Both Allison and Kathleen were patient/not pushy; and knew their information. But the real surprise is when I went in to the dealership. Based on historical experience in leasing a car, I expected the price to go up and the haggling to start; but to my surprise neither happened. It was a pretty pleasant experience - weird. Made inquiries to a few dealers (different brands). Most either did not respond or did not provide the information that I requested. Kathleen provided exactly the info I asked for, equipment, price etc. Her follow-up was complete and professional without being annoying. She made an appointment for me. I arrived expecting the price to go up and it did not. My salesperson Leo was also professional and to the point. He gave me everything that I expected and was a gentleman to deal with. The entire experience was pleasant and actually enjoyable. I absolutely recommend this dealership. Even if you have to drive a distance to get there, it is worth your time.

I first became aware of the dealership after an internet search for the vehicle that I was interested in. I asked for more information and Kathleen contacted me quickly. I made an appointment for a test drive and when I arrived I was greeted warmly and got right to the test drive. T.J. the salesman was great as was everyone at the dealership. I was made to feel comfortable the entire time. I had a trade-in and in no time it was looked at and we struck a deal. The entire experience is what we always wish a car buying experience should be- no pressure, no stress, and I left very happy with my new vehicle. I wouyld highly recommend them to everyone.

I am disabled & unable to travel most times. This Dealership brought the vehicle to my home in NY and finalized the purchase in my kitchen. I explained I would lose money on sale of my F-150, so they changed delivery date, so I wouldn't lose any more money with the person who bought my F-150.Plus, so I wouldn't lose one of the 1,000.00 rebates as well. from time contacting them on internet to taking the Avalanche from them was about 4to 5 business days.Considering what happen that we were doing the same with a NY dealer, but they were in a car accident on way to deliver me the 1st 2011 Avalanche we were buying.I can say they really came through. Overall a very good car buying experience ! Kathleen, who is the internet sales director, did a great job emailing me the information I requested and put me with the right salesman when I visited the dealership. TJ was a great salesman and very knowledgable about the product and did a great job locating the car I wanted with the options I wanted. The sales negociations were very transparent with all the information provided so I knew exactly what I was paying for the car. TJ had the car clean with a full tank of gas when I went to pick it up. I would definitly use this dealer in the future and recommend it to others.

There's lots of good reasons this dealership has been around forever. Shop elswhere first, but buy at Schumacher.

They do one thing better than all the rest-THEY SELL CARS!!!. I have bought several vehicles from Schumacher Chevrolet and every time they find a new way make me want to come back . The staff is always friendly and helpful. It has always been a pleasant experience buying my cars from Schumacher. The internet manager KATHLEEN RYAN took the time to explain my various options and did not pressure me in to buying anything- ALL WITH THE CLICK OF A MOUSE. Our showroom salesperson (T.J.) explained everything. They answer any questions. It is nice to see the same people time and time again, year to year-There employees seem as loyal as their customers. There is a good reason why this small dealership, in this economic climate is packed with people buying cars every day. They have the best deals.

Allison was very fast in getting me a quote the first to respond out of 4 dealers. I origanlly went to our local dealer since I had bought2 chevy's there before. But Allison was VERY helpfull and knowlegdable answered many questions even sent me a link to compare the different models(between LT, 1LT, and 2LT) so we could pick the best one for us with the features we wanted. And then when Leo told me the price I could not believe my ears,he beat our local dealer byover $700 and then got a car I wanted from a another dealer even with $150 option thrown in NO charge. So I SAVED over $900 their dealer fees were even cheaper then the other dealer. I could not believe how friendly and helpfull eveyone I dealt with was, they made me feel like a long time loyal customer. And their price they gave me I thought was going to be changed when I walked in the price held up right to the penny and even better!!( the free option no charge!). It was ready when promised and spotlessly prepared I even found one minor scratch in a spot very hard to see 3 days later called and told they would take care of it, no questions asked!! I would HIGHLY refer anyone looking for a good deal and good customer service. I also agree with a previous reviewer that GM needs more dealers to operate like this( like a old fashion family run main street business)

I have visited a few Chevrolet Dealerships to price a new 2011 Chevrolet Malibu LTZ and was having a bad experience with the sales personel being presure oriented. Purchasing a vehicle from Schumacher was a hassle and pressure free experience.Within minutes of emailing out quote requests I had a response. Kathleen worked with me by email and phone, I told her the quotes I had from other dealers and she promised to beat them. Then greeted me at the dealer later that day. They asked me what I wanted and what I wanted to pay then made it happen. From the time I entered dealer till the time I picked up my vehicle Ann made me feel like a member of the family. Hearing you want this vehicle equipped this way well get it for you as opposed to being pushed into one you dont really want from their inventory was awesome.I was told about extra incentives/cash back I was eligible from by being an Iraq war veteran that other dealers said no longer existed when asked if there were any veteran discounts. Knowing I had a newborn Ann even Fed-exed me my registration paper work from the DMV to save me a 45 minute drive. A dealer that takes care of its customers even after the sale is refreshing to see. She was a great sales person, when i got my new car she came to the car with me and showed me the new things in my new car that wasnt in my old one and also showed me how to use it. Like most people, I really don't like buying cars because car salesmen generally live up to their television reputation. I visited several dealers and the car salesmen lived up to their reputation. However, when I spoke with Allison (internet sales) at Schumacher, something seemed different. She convinced me that they were different, beginning with their "one car" showroom (they really have just one car in their showroom). I met with Derek and from the first minute, I liked the guy. He was straightforward and simply gave me the very best price out of the gate. I tried shopping it around, but no one could beat him. He's very knowledgeable and great to work with. I would definitely buy another car from Schumacher.

We were looking for a car to replace my dad's favorite Caddy, but we needed to be more cost effective. Kathleen, Allison & Rita did not give up until they found a suitable match for my Dad without being overbearing or pushy. They came to me from an online search and immediately offered dealership background and all other unfo I requested quicker, but without that "quick talking" and insistant sales approach that I got from others.

I first visited Schumacher Chevrolet in Little Falls New Jersey for some maintenance work on a Chevrolet which I had purchased from my employer. The customer service I received was outstanding and I knew if I purchased a vehicle from them that I already knew the long term service I could expect. Needless to say when I decided to acquire a new vehicle a short time later, I came to them based on their stellar reputation and my initial experience at the dealership. I first dealt with Kathleen on the internet and her quick responses, and continuous follow up to any questions I had encouraged me to visit the dealership once again. She quoted me a vehicle price based exactly on which features I was looking for with an explanation of what the figure included. When I sat down at the dealership with sales consultant Rick Atkinson there were no surprises and things were surprisingly easy. Everything was explained in detail and things were handled in a professional and courteous manner.I met Joe Filangieri ,the business manager, to complete the final paperwork and that experience was also quite favorable. Everything was explained and handled expeditiously.Lastly, when I came to pick up the vehicle, Rick gave me a thorough review of the vehicle and detailed explanation of how to work many of the vehicle's features.I would most definitely recommend this dealership and honestly wish other businesses would operate the same way!

That was easy! I inquired via e-mail about a price for a Chevy Traverse. Within hours I had the complete bottom line costs including tax, inceptions, Motor vehicle etc. in my inbox. Kathleen who took care of this initial part of our transaction was prompt, responsive and thorough both with questions she had for me, and the information she provided.The price was very competitive. Upon visiting the dealership, we were introduced to Kathleen, who then passed us to Rick a floor salesman. After a test drive, we reviewed numbers (which did not deviate one penny from Kathleen's initial quote) and discussed our trade in and other details. It was a very low key, no pressure sales atmosphere which was refreshing and appreciated (especially after having been through a pressure cooker session at another dealership earlier in the week.) We said we'd think about it and left without Rick applying any kind of pressure tactics. The entire sales experience was low pressure and smooth from the get-go right through the delivery. From a sales standpoint, I would recommend Schumacher Chevrolet without hesitation. Hopefully my experience with the service department will be equally pleasant, and I will definitely be back here to provide my experiences in that regard.SERVICE EXPERIENCE: I cannot say anything TERRIBLE about service, BUT I did have an experience bringing my vehicle in for a Bluetooth problem. The technician was unable to identify the problem, and dropped the ball at that. I later brought my vehicle to Bellavia Buick/Chevy in East Rutherford, and while they could not identify a specific diagnosis for the problem, they took an educated guess and TRIED a simple software update remedy. This fixed the problem and made me a Bellavia service customer as a result. Sorry Schumacher... Your sales experience was top notch, but service did not go that extra mile sometimes required to keep a customer happy, and returning.

The employees at Schumacher Chevrolet obviously have the customer's best interests in mind. We were immediately contacted via email from an internet rep, Kathleen Price, when we inquired on the website about a particular vehicle. She was personable over email and kept us informed of any vehicles that came up that fit our criteria and budget. When one did and we met the salespeople at the dealership, Ann Urlich and Jeff Schumacher, they treated us with respect and truly focused on accomodating and meeting our needs. Then after we brough the car home, both Kathleen and Ann followed up via email as well as a phone call from Ann to see if we had any questions, etc. Overall, it was an excellent experience and I would definitely recommend purchasing a vehicle from this dealership.

I have known about Schumacher Chevrolet for many years and although I never bought a car there, I wanted to give them a chance to sell me on a car I had selected. I visited other dealers first and hoped that Schumacher would be my last one. Others I know have been satisfied with their deal so I decided to try them. They are very good in all aspects and beat the other dealers prices. All employees were helpful and friendly and deserved to get my business.

Best experience at a dealership... I knew what I wanted and I didn't want to be taken for a ride.. (no pun intended...)Kathleen (Internet Director) was very professional and she gave me VERY straightforward answers to all my questions (options, price, etc..). I appreciated her prompt replies as most of the sale took place online.This is my 2nd purchase at Schumacher. I returned because the overall experience was flawless. Ann, the salesperson, provided me with very good customer service, efficient transaction and... I ended up purchasing exactly what I wanted and not what the salesperson had to sell me!!! I would recommend Schumacher to anyone who's looking for a Chevrolet !!

I worked with Kathleen on an internet sales purchase for my aunt that went great. She was quick to answer all of my questions and provide pricing for each configuration we considered. Schumacher had 88 Malibus on the lot with a great selection of options and colors including the exact configuration we wanted. We had a price agreed to before my aunt arrived. When she changed her mind on color, they had the exact same car in the color my aunt wanted and simply swapped the cars.Best selection, best price, no hassles and kathleen was delightful to deal with.

So, I was car shopping on EBay and stumbled upon a car being sold by this dealership. The price of the vehicle was good and the auction had no reserve, so it would certainly sell if someone bid. Well, I call them and ask about the car a little bit to get some details about the car and they say, "yes, the price is correct, the car is in perfect/new shape, everything is excellent, no the price is not a mistake, that is correct." Then, 2hrs before the end of the auction the sleazy salesmen cancel the auction because they wanted more than their starting price on the car. Car's true market value was $31k, they had first bid at $29k, they cancelled the auction and when I called them, they said I could have the car for $34k.Please exercise caution when dealing with this sleazy dealership that uses unethical business practices.

This was the best car buying experience we have had. Everyone was friendly and knowlegeable in their particular area. We even met with the owners of the dealership and they expressed their gratitude that we conducted business with them. We felt we were being respected and embraced as customers rather than falling prey to unscrupulous sales practices. Jeff, who did the math, gave us some information about saving money on the deal(ie: how to calculate the tax on the new purchase and transferring the plates to save money since we still had two years of registration fees left on the trade-in). Jeff also gave us a fair price on our trade-in. There was no hard-ball negotiating. Everything was honest and up-front. Absolutely no pressure. Kathleen, the internet representative, told us that since the car of our choice was not readily available, she was able to locate four comparable automobiles at other dealerships. Luckily they delivered our first choice and we are very happy with the car. Both Rita and Kathleen kept us informed by telephone or e-mail. Joe was the person who prepared all the volumes of paperwork to be signed when we closed the deal. He was thorough and made suggestions about the warraty options. Again, there was no pressure simply information. After careful consideration, we did purchase an extended warranty. On the day of pick up, Rita gave us the grand tour which included a tour of the new car and a tour of the dealership as she introduced us to all the departmaents, including the Parts and Sevice area. We look forward to many years of association with this dealership and would be very happy to recommend them to friends and family.

My Malibu is just barely five years old. All my service and that of my family (2 other vehicles) have been through the Service Department. Our cars have never been taken to an outside mechanic. Everytime I go there the price runs $300-$700 because they always find a problem with something on the car. This time there were two things wrong on the car (brakes lights and flashers out) and parking brake (also was serviced and replaced previously) and I was charged a whopping $1,900 and some change. That is utterly ridiculous for a car that only has 82,000 miles and has been serviced by the same dealer since I bought it new. I believe that Chevy should stand behind the quality of its cars and give me some of this money back. Either that or the mechanics and service department see women and plan to rip them off because we don't know about cars. Then they had the nerve to ask me if I wanted them to check out my remote start which is not working(which would have been several hundred more). I said no to that. For Chevy's Malibu to be named a reliable car it certainly has cost me a lot of monies. I have paid more in repairs than the car is worth. I think my next car will be anything but a Chevy or Toyota.

I have dealt with this dealership many times over the last 10 plus years and they never fail to please. They go out of their way to make sure that their customer is thoroughly satisfied with their purchase. I recently bought a Chevy Malibu and love the car and also the way that Schumacher employees helped to make sure that this is the perfect car for me. Schumacher's is my favorite car dealership in this area--always was and always will be!!

I can not tell you how MAD and UPSET i am with this dealership. First to say i brought this car from them and that was fine since i do not like chevy products, but my wife's family buy there cars from them all the time. Since i had the car i had it service, and ask them to check the front end of the car because the frontend suspension does not feel right, and they kept telling me that the van is ok. Had the van there again the fourth time and still ask them to check frontend and they still say its ok, and the odometer was around 63k. Got the van back for an oil change and had ask them to check front end and brakes and they said that i need rear brakes for 825.00, 1284.00 frontend work and 871.00 aircondition work. Told them to do under warrantee and they said that my warrantee is over. Let me tell ya, i was going to explode !!!!!.Told them that i was complaining about this issue with the frontend since i got it and now the warrantee is over and they expect me to pay for the frontend work. This is full of BULL----THEY ARE SCAMMERS. I will never buy another thing from them nor any of my family members.
