Upon arriving at the dealership, I was promptly greeted by an employee who asked what type of support I needed. I explained that I was interested in test driving a car I had viewed on their website. Within 5 minutes was in the car and on a test drive. Upon completion of the test drive, I asked if I could have the car put onto a lift so that I could inspect the undercarriage and suspension. My request was quickly addressed and the car was on a lift and I was handed a flashlight and shop towel to assist with my inspection. A Carfax was printed and handed to me, a copy of the service work which was completed by the dealer was also provided to me. I purchased the car, paperwork was signed and I was on my way.

The dealer is ok, not too big not too small. The car selection is good but I ended up not buying the car. Sales man was great, he was not pushy. The car I saw had some damage not seen in pictures which I believe this with the added mileage of the car (almost 100k) should make this car sell for less (about 1400 less) and not for the asking price. Overall decent dealer with good car selection.

The representative I talked to was Joey. He was a the youngest of the reps and was very honest and open about everything I was asking about. He was really nice and incredibly professional. I bought a Saturn ION '03 here at the end of May and wanted to make sure I gave it a couple of months before giving them a proper review. The car was in great shape when I bought it and it still is. I would highly recommend friends coming here since this place has heart and is very welcoming.

First time buyer and they worked with me. I love my 2005 Ford Escape. They have a great stock of cars. I worked with Terrance and he was great! Everyone there is so nice. I would recommend them to everyone. My parents plan on buying their next car there!

This is the 3rd auto we have purchased from Shaver Preferred. The service is the best. They treat you like a person not a dollar sign. They have an excellent service department. We have used their service and they tell you what needs to be done and what can wait. My daughter just bought a Chevy Cruz and loves it and the pricing is very fair. I would recommend this dealership to anyonecar because they are very trust worthy. When you have a question you get an answer. Our car that we had purchased from Shaver was totaled so we went back and within a short time drove out with an auto. My daughter was so upset that her car was totaled but the salesman put her at ease with a choice of a couple of cars, I cannot say enough good about Shaver.

All of our vehicles come from Shaver we have been dealing with them for over 5yrs. Every time we go in we're treated Awesome and everyone in there is super friendly. Went to Shaver to physically look at the vehicle I had seen on line. The people could not have been more friendly and polite. Had absolutely no problems (am sure if I had they would have worked har.d to resolve them). Have utilized their auto repair facilities prior to purchasing a vehicle from them and both are superior in quality and customer care, which is greatly appreciated.

I have bought at least 4 cars from Shaver Preferred and have not experienced any problems. Mike Forney was always very friendly and helpful in assisting in finding me a great car. I just purchased another vehicle that I wanted and able to find at Shaver for a decent price. Mickey is always helpful and approachable as an owner. He and Mike remembered me every time I went in for a vehicle, that is important to know that they know and care about their customers. I have recommended several friends to Shaver and they have also purchased cars. A couple of the cars needed some minor service and they were nice enough to have the issues solved. Thank you Shaver for allowing those first time buyers and those of us who need some assistance in obtaining a nice and affordable vehicle who are credit challenged!! All of the staff is very friendly and Mike takes you through the whole process with a smile.

Shaver Motors was a great experience. I was assisted by a gentleman named Gary. He was excellent at helping me find a car. Shaver motors took a chance on me because I didn't have the best credit and just starting my career. I will be forever grateful for Gary and shaver motors.

Shaver Preferred will always be my first and only destination when obtaining a new set of wheels. Shaver Preferred was the only dealership to help me obtain financing under what I assumed would be an impossible set of circumstances. I stopped at the lot on a Thursday, (while they were closed to look). I ended up driving away in the very vehicle which caught my attention before their closing time that following Friday. I never thought that would happen. I have past by this lot on numerous occasions. The Shaver inventory selection is constantly evolving and has always included some of the most well-kept and maintained vehicles I've ever seen on a pre-owned lot. Shaver also offers a warranty on most of their vehicles for added protection as they guarantee their product. My salesman,"Gary", was very accessible, knowledgeable and honest - he will work with you. The entire team (including one of the owners) has been responsive through the entire process. At the end of the day, their are a million car dealerships located between Shaver Preferred and my residence across the Indiana/Illinois state border. It was worth the drive there and "even more worth the drive back!"

I made my first car purchase at Shaver Preferred Motors and it was nothing like I thought it would be! I thought it would be a long drawn out process, but it was smooth, fun, and easy! Shaver Preferred Motors did such a nice job that a week later I went back and bought my wife a car too! I would 100% recommend SPM to my friends and family. They are honest and very helpful!

Kurt Niminicht is my car salesman he sold me a wonderful 09 kia sorento I love it. Kurt was there to assist me with any problems and make sure there taking care of immediately he's the best on the lot so if you go there suggest Kurt he'll make sure you Shaver experience is one of the best and he will break everything down and make sure you understand it. Car had a bad tire on the lot with a bulging side wall. I was surprised when they said I would have to pay for the tire. Most reputable dealerships would have had that done or at least covered the cost. He said they would pay half but for what I was charged im sure I covered their out of pocket costs. Also I was told the car had gone through a rigorous inspection but it has a slight pull to the right. BUT...having said that I obviously still bought the car because of the price. It was a beautiful clean car with all records and the carfax was clean. Really a nice car at a rock bottom price. This is why I paid for the tires. I understand that...It was more car for a lot less money than anywhere around. The salesman and owner are great to work with. The buying process couldn't be easier. I was in and out in a short time. Financing was easy and competitive. Over all worth the drive to go visit this dealer. Seemed to be straight shooters.

I had not one problem when I went into Shaver Preferred Motors! It was fast and easy and had a great selection of vehicles. Kurt Nimnicht was the best sales man I have ever came across. He was so polite and patient. He cared about my family values in a vehicle that he showed me a great selection and narrowed it down to the perfect vehicle that fit my family's needs! Now I own the greatest vehicle I have ever had, I couldn't have done it without him! It was definitely great service with a Smile! Thank you Kurt for everything! Each individual I came in contact with was very personable and kind. Mickey, and Mike were amazing. They made sure my car buying process was smooth and efficient. They try to accommodate all circumstances to get you in a vehicle even if your a first time buyer. I would recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a car.

We had an excellent buying experience at Shaver Preferred when we purchased our Chrysler Town and Country. I searched all over at various dealerships and on line before going to Shaver. They gave me the best price I could find and were very pleasant to deal with in the buying process. They also found me the most competitive financing option for my vehicle. I have since been in for routine maintenance and their service department does a great job as well. I would highly recommend Shaver Preferred Motors!

I explained to Micky what I was looking for & my price range. He didn't have what I wanted on his lot but had multiple options for me within 24 hours. I came in the next day & bought a 2009 Infinity QX56 under my price range! Micky & Derrick were professional & very helpful in choosing the right car for me. I will definitely repeat! when the type car I wanted wasn't on the lot , Kurt took the time to find out what features I wanted and contacted me when a suitable car was available. It didn't take long. My car has everything I wanted and more. I also got a tutorial on the features I wasn't familiar with. Great service and friendly atmosphere. I wasn't made to feel like an old woman who knows nothing about cars----even though that is exactly what I am.

I bought a truck there 3 weeks ago. I was driving and slamed on my breaks and they locked up. I finally got them loose and my brake pedal went to the floor. I limped it to the nearest brake place. They changed the breaks and rotors. They went to drive it and the pedal still went to the floor. They looked at the fluid and found out that someone put the wrong type of fluid in and it ate the seals. I called Shave and they said have it towed to their shop. So I did. They said I would have to have a new master Cylinder installed and new hoses. I told them what had happened and they said they wouldn't warranty anything because someone put new pads and rotors on first. Then they wanted me to pay $1200.00 to get it fixed. I've only had the truck 3 weeks. Now I have to pay for a towing charge and for someone to look at what I already told them what was wrong. Very sad. I cant believe they won an award for anything.

The price on the windshield was perfect,I turned around to check it out,6 deep scratches in the paint,perfect,cheap!I knew the wife would like it!Got credit,before we signed the papers we were told"$800.00 more,someone forgot to update the computer!" My wife said,let's go,well,I didn't want her driving my car any longer(miles!),so,against everything I believe in,I bought the car! 4 days later I found a pool of oil,I crawled under the car to check the oil filter,it was so old,the paint was wore off(they said it had just been serviced!),I checked the drain plug, it was tight.Now I finally check the power stearing EMPTY,filled that and a gallon of anti freeze.I got back in town(truck driver)a couple of weeks later,went to the dealer,told him what happened,he shrugged his shoulders and said"you didn't buy the extended warrenty! I asked about the 112 point check they did and said it was fine and that it had a spare(still waiting for that!)and he told me to go talk to the mechanic! Why would "I" need to talk to the mechanic if he paid for the service?! What a waste of $12080.00
