I came here looking for a 2015 Chrysler 200 I found online. After driving the car I was pretty skeptical if this car was the right match for me. Although it really didn't matter how it felt because I wasn't going to get approved for this car. After almost loosing all of my hope, Conrad was able to put me in my husband in a brand new 2017 Hyundai Elantra. I was in shock! The whole experience was very enjoyable. I dread going to dealerships to have to deal with car salesman's that feed you a bunch of BS and help you get nothing accomplished but a few hours of your life wasted. This experience was completely different. Everyone was friendly and Conrad's customer service was above and beyond. He did what he had to do to make sure we left satisfied! I drove almost 3 hours to this dealership and I would do it again. Thanks Conrad!

I was using the USAA car buying service and found the car I wanted at Sheehy. I was very pleased with how quick and easy the purchase process was, as I was probably at the store for a grand total of 2.5 hrs start to finish. James has a great sense of customer service and it was a pleasure to work with him. He was quick to answer any questions I had and alleviate any concerns. I would advise future customers to carefully review everything in the F&I office prior to signing anything. I was told my first service appt would be free of charge, but that did not appear in any binding documents. Additionally, the odometer statement on the Application for Title was wildly inaccurate. As soon as I made mention of these issues, they were rectified in a timely manner.Overall, a very positive experience. Thank you, James.

Highly recommend dealing with Conrad Westerman. We came into the dealership looking for a Veloster. After talking with Conrad and telling him what our desires were he recommended we check out the Elantra (a cheaper car) which more perfectly fit my daughter's driving needs. Conrad was right, the car we picked was perfect. Although he had the chance to sell us a higher priced car Conrad was watching out for OUR best interest versus his own pocket (a rarity in many markets). His recommendation was spot on and when it comes time for us to purchase our next car you can be sure we will be seeking Conrad's assistance. So far I am impressed with the Hyundai brand.

My family and I have purchased and leased over the past years 4 vehicles from Sheehy Hyundai. Rick Cypress has been the sales person for three of them. I cannot say enough about his care to make sure you are getting the right vehicle for you. He takes the time to ask what type of vehicle you're looking for, your price range, what you'll be using the vehicle for so you can get the best for your money. He does not convince you this is the best car for you, he lets you make that decision yourself. He's there to answer the questions you need answered to make that decision yourself. My co-worker admired my new 2017 Santa Fe Sport, and I recommended her next purchase (next year) is from Sheehy.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Reggie Sasser, sales rep, and Ewing, Branch Manager, to make a deal on my new 2016 Tucson. They both listened to my needs and went out of the way to find a Tucson that had the features I wanted and nothing more. I also appreciated their willingness to make a deal that I was comfortable with. Finance Manager, Kendra Bridgett, was able to find financing better than I was able to get through my regular bank. She was also very professional and efficient in getting through the process. James also did an excellent job in preparing my vehicle and applying the protective coating of ResistAll, both internally & externally. The entire staff at Sheehy Hyundai in Waldorf, MD were extremely professional and friendly. I fully expect to go to this dealership for all future vehicle maintenance / service. I went to price the genesis as I had been looking at this car for some years now. Eric greeted me and my wife and was very friendly and open to all the questions we had. He was not over aggressive and asked us to take time to think about it. The following day I filled out an online application and took my Lexus to get apprised. By the time I had gotten to the dealership a deal was already in the makings. I was pleased with how fasted they worked as I was not expecting to take the car home then. I walked out the same day with a new genesis that I only went to price the day before.

While the thought of being shuffled off from one salesman to another was a little disconcerting, it all turned out great. Reggie handled our purchase from beginning to end. My car buying experience with Hyundai proved that online reviews are often misleading, and refer to one bad experience out of numerous great ones. I visited 3 dealerships the day before coming to Sheehy, and was overwhelmed with trying to make a deal instead of being able to enjoy the accomplishment. My sale rep. was Eric Coates, who greeted us professionally yet warm like family. Absolutely NO pressure as we looked around, and he was always near to answers questions. He explained the specs in detail which helped me and gave me better insight after I purchased. Paperwork is paperwork, but the exquisite customer service I received encouraged me to feel comfortable and able to trust Eric. Not often will a car dealership make you feel at home, but Eric and his team provided an environment that was all about the customer. I had a wonderful experience buying a car; thought I would never be able to say that based on the online reviews. I met the service crew the day of purchase and I had an emergency and had to leave soon after. Eric said, " no problem, we will clean up the vehicle today and if you can bring it back we will give you a more signature detail." It was my fault that I has to leave so soon, but once I came back in, they service team greeted me by name and immediately took my car back and cleaned it again. As soon as Eric saw my car was ready, he went over again the blue link info and connection again just to make sure I had the best experience. I never had such an amazing sales rep. to pay attention and understand first the hassle of buying a car and meet above and beyond standards so accurately. Thanks Eric, Great Job!!!

Buying a new car, specifically when your car was totaled in an accident, is not often an experience that is considered pleasant. The experience at Hyundai Waldorf was professional, efficient and friendly. No pressure tactics just plain information to make an informed decision. Gone are the days where you spend hour upon hour at the dealership negotiating a fair deal. In and out in under two hours! Pickup schedule to meet my schedule and a new spotless and full tank of gas were waiting for me. I'll definitely recommend Hyundai Waldorf and Mr. Rick Cypress to others.

I first came to the dealership to help my friends decide on a truck and ended up looking at a car for myself. Rick was their salesperson and I had worked with him before. Rick is awesome and doesn't make you feel pressured with anything. The overall process was good, despite a long wait for financing due to only one finance person and me not getting the car that was actually pictured on the online listing (I don't blame Rick for that). Financing was painless and went quick once I got called into the room. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase.

I had been speaking with Conrad via email and phone to purchase a new hybrid Sonata. He told me he could get me a specific out the door price and to come in so he could value my car (another hybrid Sonata)My car has no door dings and still looks like new it is well taken care of and in excellent condition. Kelley Blue Book is around $15,800 for a trade in value in excellent condition. Rough condition was $13 600 for trade in. The dealer offered me $13,000 (less than rough) leaving me a balance owed of $2800. In addition to the 2800 they added another $5000 to my out the door price for taxes and fees a total of $7800. I was told to bring my car in to value it. All they did was take my key to get vin number and miles. They valued the car from a desk. They could have done that over the phone. I am not upset about anything other than misleading me and wasting my time

I had a good experience with the dealership in regards to customer service.However in my opinion there were many details that were left out that would have made me look at some of the some of the added packages I purchased differently. My advise is for your company to be forth coming with all details and how it may or may not affect your customer so that when the customer leaves they are comfortable and more importantly satisfied that they made the best choices and decisions for their usage of the car which as the end result you would have a "Very Satisfied Customer"!

The selection was limited, but we were able to find a vehicle that fit my needs. I wanted AWD, but settled for FWD. The finance department was very thorough. I like how he took the time to go over everything and showed me comparisons. I didn't feel pressured to buy additional services and I felt the additional services were reasonably priced.

Called Thursday to check if a car was available. I live 45 mins away from dealership and did not want to waste my time if the car wasn't there. I was told by James Miller it was on the lot and available. I said I would be there the next day to look at it. Arrive at the dealership the next day, no car. It's in Manassas VA. Employee I spoke with on the phone was not there either. Huge waste of my time and not a good way to do business.

I had a great experience here. I had very strict requirements that required detailed attention, more financial based more so than vehicle specific. Conrad and Ewing were able to accommodate my restrictions and worked to get me the best price. Negotiations felt comfortable and not aggressive. I've never driven a Hyundai before and I am not sure I will in the future as this was just temporary for me, but if I do decide to come back to this brand, I will be sure my first stop is Sheehy of Waldorf.

My husband and I were able to sign the contract at separate times, which made coordinating work schedules so much easier. The whole process was smooth and quick. I will continue to recommend buying a Hyundai vehicle. The last one i bought was in 2006 and it was a sante fe. I did go through 4 sets of rotors which i believe is highly unusual. I will say that is my only complaint with that vehicle.

When buying a used car from this place, they "claim" they will fully detail it for you. What was specifically said to me was "before it leaves the lot, we will detail it and make it look like one of our new ones". Now I don't expect any used car no matter how new, to not have imperfections. The car I was interested in had these as well. ok cool, that is to be expected. I was told all unsightly scratches would be fixed. Some scratches were fixed really well, while some of the more noticeable ones were not even looked at. Also before I test drove the car, the interior was really dirty and everything needed to be wiped down/vacuumed. Still don't want to know what that sticky stuff I touched was. One would think that a dealership would want to enhance the appearance of any car before attempting to sell it. I had to come pick up the car the next day due it needing to finish going through an inspection. I thought I was coming back to a new and improved car with the interior cleaned and the leftover scratches fixed. NOPE. Looked the same as the night before, perhaps worse now that it was daylight out. Stains on the interior, someone's dirty handprints on the visor, weird dried liquid covering buttons. BUT HEY!! at least the trunk was vacuumed, a thing I will spend little time looking at. The car wasn't even washed. This is rather unacceptable, they apparently couldn't be bothered to spend a couple minutes wiping things down and making it look nice. I mean some simple cleaning is nothing that I cant take care of myself, I was just hoping a business that I am putting a lot of my own money (I even paid cash) into would value and respect me enough as a customer to provide these things for me. Who cares though, after the sale it's not their problem. If this same car with the same features was at CarMax.....I would have happily paid a bit extra and given the sale to them. They really know how to treat a potential customer. The cars at CarMax even had this weird concept to them, THEY WERE CLEAN. Luckily for me I never have to deal with this place ever again. Cons:-The wait times were ridiculous, 30 minute wait for the salesmen to pull the car upfront to test drive. It took about an hour and a half upon arrival before I even saw the car that I told them I was interested in before I got there. At CarMax, 10 minute wait. At Sheehy, you turn into the old knight protecting the Holy Grail in The Last Crusade. You ask a simple question, wait an hour. Ask for the keys to your old car to pull something out, wait an hour. so on and so on...-Used car was dirty. All cars NEW AND USED should be cleaned for the customer before leaving the lot, inside and out! This isn't rocket science.. it's common courtesy. -The lot was a mess, couldn't find a clear line between Used and New cars, also barely enough room to maneuver, it's no wonder many cars are damaged by others when in for a service. -Very little customer parking, my advice...steal a spot when a car is moved for a test drive. Let the dealership worry about where to park.Pros-Excellent pricing, my car was about 18,000, approx. $4000 under competitors. Checked price of the new Elantra loaner car they gave me for the night out of curiosity...also under competitors. -Staff was inviting and friendly (perhaps pushy at times but it is a car dealership). Only feedback here would be to look at customers as people, not as another sale you can add to your dumb district competition. (Congrats on currently being in the lead by the way, yes I saw the hidden board). Treat a customer better than you would family, after all my family members wouldn't readily hand over 18 grand.....Overall, I am happy with my purchase, just disappointed it had to come from here

Only issues I had was that the rental I was provided when my vehicle was having sunroof installed did not have gas and even though they knew I was coming I had to wait 40 minutes to get the rental. We also feel we got shorted on our trade in. Other than those issues the process was pleasant and not to time consuming.

My experience at Sheehy Waldorf began with USAA's car buying service. The dealership was one of three that responded to my inquiry via the service. Conrad was able to answer most of my questions about pricing on extended warranty, pre-paid maintenance and the ResistAll package via email. The other dealerships were not forthcoming with this information and told me to come in to the dealership to discuss. When I got the dealership, Conrad greeted us and took us on a test drive. He was extremely knowledgeable about the car and showed us how everything worked and some features we weren't even aware of. When it came to negotiations, it was a much more pleasant experience than I had anticipated. When I received the quote from USAA, I had mistakenly checked some incentives that I did not qualify for. This drove the price up, thus out of my comfort zone. Conrad and Ewing helped us reach a price that was between the price I had anticipated and the adjusted True Car price. Because the service department was gone for the day when my car was getting prepped, Conrad had to install the roof racks himself! Michelle in the business department was very knowledgeable and easy to work with as well. She explained the financing, our extended warranty options and the VIP membership for our maintenance. Because we plan to have our car for a long time, we opted in on all these services. All the staff at Sheehy Hyundai in Waldorf were wonderful to work with. Calvin Jackson was an awesome sales person! He had my paperwork ready for me when I got to the dealership as I asked so that I could cut down on the amount of time I would spend sitting at the dealership. He worked very hard with his general manager to help get me as close to the monthly payment that I was seeking and offered to assist me with any issues I found with the car after I drove off the lot. While I wish the Sonata's had the actual Apple Play radio like the 2017 Elantras have (this isn't the dealership's fault), I am happy with my car and hoping that Hyundai will notify the 2016 Sonata owners when we are able to upgrade our current stereo to the actual Apple Play stereo! I was greeted by a salesman who was unsure of where the types of vehicles I was looking at were located and then proceeded to tell me he didn't work there, because he was in for their "big sales event" that weekend. He was very nice but didn't seem to know his way around. I was contacted via text message on my cell phone to complete this survey and the "targeted responses needed to ensure quality and scores" which I thought was VERY unprofessional; they should not have texted me, it should've been an email or phone call, and shouldn't persuade me on how to fill out the survey. I also noticed a small scratch on the car before buying it. They told me to come in that following Monday to get it fixed. I returned Monday afternoon and was informed that the paint people were not there because it had rained that morning. Being informed of this before I drove 45 minutes up tot he dealership would've been nice. Lastly, my headlight has moisture in it so they ordered me a new one on that Monday and said they would contact me to let me know when they can replace it...3 weeks go by and I finally call and ask about it. They tell me it is in and scheduled an appointment. I dropped my car off at 8:30. 10:00 they call me and tell me they ordered the wrong part. Talk about unbelievable. An hour and a half to figure out and inform me that it's the wrong part. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this dealership. I haven't had anything positive from them. I don't even plan to take my car there for the first free oil change.

During the discussion over my trade in< I was told I would get 1000.00 factory rebate, and a 500.00 repeat customer rebate. The Used cars salesman same to me with a horrible trade in value for my 2011 Tucson that had only 54,000 miles on it. After I told him to give my keys back cause I felt insulted with his quote, he offered to relook at it and came back with a higher trade in value, To my regret I didnt go back over all the paper work till I got home, and that's when I found out that he had removed the 500.00 repeat customer rebate. I think that it was underhanded on his part and a good way to lose a future repeat customer.

The salesman was nice I thought until he wasn't willing to answer questions I had about the interest rate after my credit was ran. He literally acted like he didn't hear me. I spent 5 hours waiting just for him to tell me that he couldn't get the car I wanted transferred from the VA Sheehy VW location because it was certified in another state. I could deal with that if I was told before we went through the the process of running my credit. Ended up leaving and bought the car the car from the VA Sheehy VW location.

I had a great experience at Sheehy. My check engine light came on in my car and I was able to make an appointment to get that checked. I was unfamiliar with the service area and William came out and told me where to go and what to do. After I got into the waiting area, he came over and chatted with me about my car for a little. My mom called and he left me alone to have my conversation. He wasn't forceful or anything. He left me to do my thing, and when I was off of the phone for a bit, he came back over and asked if I had looked at the brochure he had given me. I said yes, and that I actually had been thinking about trading my car in soon anyway. He showed me some options and made me a deal. I told him I did not want to make a decision without knowing what was wrong with my car, and he was very understanding. I waited for my car to be done getting a diagnostic and it came back with a LOT of problems. I was going to have to spend way more on my old car than I had anticipated. I told William that I would be using that money that I would have been putting into my old car as a down payment on a new one. However, I just changed jobs, took a significant pay cut, currently moved, and did not have the most money available to me. He worked with me to make sure my payments would be in the range I was comfortable in. Brittany took over and was very pleasent and wonderful to work with. After I had purchased the car and went home, I looked over my agreement again and it made no sense to me. I got nervous that I had been scammed.... I called her right away and she told me to come in at my conveinence to look things over. I went in the next day and she explained everything to me. Took less than 5 minutes. She wrote down the numbers and showed me what I had been missing. I had been texting my roommate, who needs a new car, the whole time and told her she should definitely come to Sheehy Hyundai to get her new car. They are great people to work with. Very professional and care about your needs and what you want. My roommate plans to get a car with them in the coming months and I will definitely recommend them to others!

I was surprised to see SO many outstanding reviews for this Dealer. My experience was not in the least bit the same. I just purchased a USED car from them this weekend and if it wasn't for the fact that I really liked the car I wouldn't have bought from them. First I was coming from Woodbridge, VA and wanted to make sure we were at least close in price and the vehicle had what I wanted. I was told it was MD inspected etc and I let them know I would be in over the weekend. We get there Sunday and they have to go "look" for the car. Finally after 15 mins of waiting I am told there is good and bad news. Good - they found the car, Bad - It's not MD inspected. SO even if I wanted to purchase I couldn't take delivery that day. I did like the look of the car and then asked if I could test drive. There was a scramble and the Saleman tells me, " Umm, the keys are locked up in the Inspection Building". They then tried to sell me the car without even being able to start it! At this point I am getting very frustrated and want to leave. They tell me they will call a few people to see who can unlock the building. After disappearing for about 20 mins we are informed that another gentlemen would be coming with the keys. Would take him 15 mins or more. We sit....and wait..... Finally he arrives, they bring the car around, I test drive and like it. Ready to purchase (knowing I can't take it that day). We agree to terms and then I am sent into Finance were they have my address incorrect, oh and the purchase price completely wrong. More waiting while they fix paperwork. FINALLY we are ready to go. Overall we were there from 12-4:30pm and it was an all CASH Deal!!!! I would not recommend at all

I had a 2013 Toyota truck with coupon from kelly blue book which stated that this deal ship would honor. When I went in I waited an hour and finially the sales person have me a offer of 11,500. At that time my husband walked in,another saleman said hear comes her reinforcements which at the time did not get.I asked about the coupon the stated 15,500. The dealership said they could not do it,truck was not worth that,which they also said they got there number from a different dealer. I stated that we would take the truck to Carmax, got a apprasial from Carmax 16,500. Hyundai said I would have to wait for me money 15 days. Wrong again! Now I see there sign on 301 Crain hwy. that says they would bet any offer. Wrong again! I feel they saw a woman come in and wanted to take an opportunity to buy low and sell high at my cost.This dealership in dishonest and really lied about Carmax,there sign and there kelly blue book coupon offers. I wish I could really talk to the owner. I have bought in my life time 20 cars and never got this treatment.

I wrote a review of this dealership about a month and a half ago and would like to provide an update as to what has happened. I purchased a used Ford Flex from the dealer approximately 2 months ago and can say it was the worst car purchasing experience of my life. The car was not ready to be sold and I had to return to the dealership a few days later and wait hours for the car to be ready. I can say that nobody offered to compensate me for the time that I wasted both traveling back and forth to the dealership, as well as while I was waiting for the car to be detailed (a process that took so long that I told them to stop before it was finished). When I went to register the vehicle, I realized that the individual who is in charge of the formal documentation on the car (the car's title, etc.) "did not realize" that the transfer of title form was not included in the paperwork that was sent to me after the transaction took place. The individual admitted to me that she "just didn't check" to see if the document was included, which I think is indicative of the way in which Sheehy Hyundai does business. I had taken off work to travel to the MVA, which turned out to be a wasted trip, as I could not register the vehicle without the transfer of title form. When I spoke with Emmanuel, one of the mangers, he was generally unapologetic and did not seem to understand why I was upset with what had happened. The salesperson with whom I worked also has promised me two times that she was going to "overnight" me the other key for the vehicle, though this never happened. I've tried to contact the dealership several times since then and have not received a call back. I've also tried to speak with the General Manager of the dealership to try to inform him of my ridiculously awful experience, though I have not had a response from him, either. Please take my advice and be very, very wary when dealing with this dealership if you are purchasing a used car. I see that the dealership has had positive reviews, so I suppose this has just been an exception. I still do not appreciate the fact that at no point has anyone ever tried to apologize or compensate me for the way in which this whole process was handled. I will never purchase another car from this dealership again, and will advise all of my family and friends to do the same.

Sheehy Hyundai in Waldorf, MD has very slow and incompetent service department. I had a 2015 Sonata Limited with the 2.0T engine that was experiencing creaking/rattling issues with the panoramic sunroof. The first time it was diagnosed, they had stated the glass needed to be replaced. They replaced the glass and it seemed to do the trick, but unfortunately, that was short lived. The creaking came back and I had been back one other time, but for some reason, they couldn't duplicate the issue. When I left the dealership that day, I heard the creaking.Also, when I took it in the first time for the creaking sunroof, I had complained the transmission was very laggy with poor throttle response. Their response according to the invoice was, "Customer informed of dual clutch trans characteristics. Advised to keep an eye out for software updates." Sorry Sheehy Hyundai Service, the 2.0T according to Hyundai's website isn't equipped with a dual clutch transmission. I know how a dual clutch works because I've had 2 previous VW's (I'm now on my 3rd) that had/have dual clutch and this is not even remotely close to how they function. Dual clutch transmissions are very quick and smooth shifting as the next gear is pre-selected prior to shift for optimum shift quality and reduced lag. Second, if you schedule an oil change, you better bring a computer, cellphone, or tablet because you're going to be waiting. My first 2 oil changes with this place was well into 2.5 hours. Third, and this one drew the last straw with this dealership and Hyundai in general. On 1/27/2016, I had got a flat tire coming home from work. I scheduled an appointment for 1/28/2016 at 9:15 a.m. I showed up approximately 15 minutes early. Anybody want to guess how long this took?7 HOURS TO REPLACE A TIRE!!! The service writer told me the tire wasn't in stock, which really confused me because if not mistaking, all 2.0T Sonata's with the 18" wheels are equipped with Kumho Solus P235/45/R18 tires. How can you not have a stock of something you know the vehicle has? Why would you let your stock get so low to the point you run out and have to order one from a warehouse?Anyway, I didn't get the vehicle back until approximately 4:15 p.m. After this, I've traded the Sonata in for a 2016 VW GTI Autobahn with a DSG transmission. Far superior quality than the Sonata I had. It may not have all the features, but it sure runs a lot smoother and far more responsive.With the above review, especially with the complaint about the transmission and them telling me about something the vehicle wasn't even equipped with nor is it an option and absolutely clueless about its function, I'd take the vehicle somewhere else.

My experience at Sheehy was very eventful to say the least. While I was there Emily and the managers worked with me endlessly to find the car I wanted, at the price I wanted. Once we found that car which was a HYUNDAI VELOSTER (basic model) we took it for a test drive. It had almost everything I wanted but it really fit my budget which was the important thing. While on the test drive we were stopped at a light with me and my wife in the front seat and Emily my sales rep in the back. Emily was telling us about all the cool functions of the car, when all the sudden BAM!!! A car slammed into the back of us. Luckily no one was injured, and Emily handled everything she didn't even want us to get out of the car because it was cold and she was worried about our safety on the busy road. Once we got back to the dealership she told me the bad news. That Veloster was the only one they had that fit my budget. I was upset to say the least but I did not want to buy a wrecked car, I mean who would? We sat down at Emily desk and Emily went over to the managers and they talked for a while. A couple of minutes later Emily came back and told me the news I could only dream of hearing. She told me that because they did not have any more basic models at my price all they can do is give me the R-SPEC version for $5 more a month. My jaw dropped and I was stunned and so excited. "Oil Changes Done Fast" that's the sign you see as you enter the service department. I'm not sure what their interpretation of "fast" is, however I had a 1pm appointment for a simple oil change and was out by 3:30pm. That is totally unacceptable and a complete waste of my time! I was very surprised at the lack of focus on customer service at this dealership. If you're buying a used car, ask them if the car has been inspected! The management at the dealer did not bother doing anything to compensate me for the time that I had to spend waiting for a car that I should have been able to take away. The sales associate as well as the management did not seem to care that I was inconvenienced in any way. The staff was friendly enough, but I will never buy another vehicle from this dealership and would definitely not recommend anyone else buy a used car from them, either.

Bottom line, I kept changing my mind on what I was looking for. Fortunately, the sales agents were professional and able assist me and other customers (busy dealership) throughout my buying process. They even had a good sense of humor about my multiple visits & test drives, which I appreciated.Stopped by the dealership a few times and met with a few sales agents. I was unsure of whether to go used or new, but was 99% sure I was in the market for an Elantra sedan (I prefer the look of sedans to hatchbacks). The used Elantra that I was interested in was sold 1 day before my 3rd visit - so, it was not to be. On that 3rd visit, I retried the new 2016 Elantra. As a tall (6' 3") person, I found that the backseat legroom was ample, but the headroom was a tad cramped. Unfortunately, I never told the sales agents why I was interested in a sedan from the start (superficially based on looks), but after making a comment about the backseat head room being a tad cramped, I was told that the hatchback (Elantra GT) had more room in the back. I tried the GT and found it exceeded all my expectations :)

I sold my vehichle to sheehy hyundai of waldorf and they gave me not 1 but 2 fraudulent checks. The first check was returned by my bank and i was charged a fee the second check their own bank Suntrust wont even cash. I have contacted the FBI the police to investigate this matter. Its been 3 weeks and i still dont have my money for my car i sold them which they have sold for a lot more than they paid me. I have contacted my attorney and consumer affairs. They have profited from my loss and i have lost thousands in business as a result of their theft and fraud. I advise you never do business with them but if you decide to do so make sure you have an attorney while you do. They have done nothing but play games and tell lies stole my vehichle and my money.. They should all be locked up. See you in court!!!!

I noticed a used Mercedes on their website, called to inquire and was treated very professionally by Conrad Westerman. He scheduled a test drive the day of, with less than 30 minutes of notice, and even drove the vehicle for me as extenuating circumstances prevented me from doing so. The car was in excellent shape and at a very fair price, and the purchasing process went very smoothly. My only complaint was an additional reconditioning fee that wasn't advertised in the asking price, but before I picked up the car the service department had replaced all the fluids/belts/gizmos in the engine and put four new tires on it. This completely negated the reconditioning fee, and actually saved me money. I could not be happier with the purchase and dealing with Mr. Westerman, who was courteous and very helpful throughout the entire process. I highly recommend this dealership.

I am a person that is driven by vibes. I visited 2 dealers prior to this particular dealer, James Miller, and something stuck with me when briefly meeting and talking with him 30 minutes before the business closed (Wednesday). James was not only friendly and helpful, but displayed a very personable and warm nature. That made me return the next day. The process was SUPER EASY! I was a bit indecisive and actually had to run to work for a few hours and there was NO HESITATION of letting me test drive the vehicle that peaked my interest. After driving the vehicle for the next few hours that sealed the deal. The price was right, James and the manager BOTH helped get the monthly payments where I wanted and the rest was history! (Thursday) This was my VERY first "car lease to own" and I am in love with my new baby! They made this entire process easy going, fun, with no hassle or stress! I would recommend EVERYONE!!

Jermaine Bright was the sales representative who helped me purchase my car. He initiated conversation with humor and provocative questions to better understand the car I was searching for. After refining the results by introducing my financial information, Jermaine was able to show me cars that fit my lifestyle and budget. He explained packages and services to help me keep my car looking and running like the day I bought it. Jermaine led me into the area where my car would be serviced and introduced me to a couple of the maintenance crew after I finished my paper work with the financial administrator. The service area is where my car pulled up and Jermaine showed me how to connect my music and showed me the guide I can refer to if ever I'm unable to reach him. I fell in love with the new 2015 Genesis the first time I saw it in a shopping mall. I visited my daughter for two weeks who has been in Korea for the last 4 years and learned about the Hyundai brand. I visited another dealer and took a test drive and was impressed. I purchased my first car in November of 2014. The car is a 2014 Hyundai Accent. I got the car with less than 100 miles on it. About mid May I started having problems with the car not picking up to go. I took the car to Hyundai Waldorf for service Glenn in service test drove my car claimed he did not experience the issue. The technicians worked on the car come to find out my transmission chip was off. The claimed the reset the chip it the issue was resolved as I was told less than 24 hrs I was having the same issue. I took the car back to Hyundai this time I was put into a rental. Almost a week goes by I had to call the service department only to be told I needed a new transmission. My car was there for 20 days. When I finally got my car back I was experiencing jerking and the same problems from before. Even got the problem on a video. I took the car back once again only to be accused of making a issue up. I was not addressed my any of the staff in service John luckett Walked past me like I was invisible. Then had the nerve to tell me it's no such thing as a lemon. I emailed the district manager numerous times and still did not get a response. I will be taking this issue to the next level up

I arrived at Hyundai intending on buying a used vehicle to replace my previous vehicle which had just died. I was greeted almost instantly by Ewing who led me to his desk, offered some water to my girlfriend and me, and started discussing what I was looking for in a car. I already had in my mind what sort of price point I was looking at paying each month, and when I mentioned it, he said that there were some new vehicle that I could look at that may be able to fall in my range. After looking at the used vehicles first, we looked at the new ones and test drove one of them. After some price negotiating we were able to come to a deal on a new car that fit in my price range. Overall it was a very good experience and Ewing made sure it was a good one.

My overall experience dealing with the staff at this dealership was great and fair. They offered me what I wanted for my trade and gave me a great deal on a brand new, 2015 Hyundai Sonata, which is loaded with far more features than what my last vehicle had. My sales rep was William Pastor and my experience with him was excellent and he was honest and didn't give me any runarounds. My only gripe about this dealership is that it's entirely too congested, the lot is not adequately sized and is poorly laid out/constructed. This isn't the dealership's fault, but whoever designed it. You practically have to make your own spot and sometimes, this is inconvenient. Other than this, they have an awesome staff and I would definitely recommend this dealership to anybody looking into a Hyundai.

I first visited the dealership to take a look at the Elantra per my Dad after he did his research. Ewing came out to help me look at the models. I test drove a car but didn't particularly like it so I told Ewing I'd look around. I gave the car some thought and decided to come back to the Hyundai dealer in Waldorf. Ewing was at work that day and I test drove the Elantra sport and loved it. The best part of this whole experience (besides my Dad getting me a new car)...lol was that Ewing was a great sales person. He made me and my mom feel very comfortable. He was not pushy and did not try to make me buy something I wasn't comfortable with. Basically we told him what we wanted and our budget and he made it happen. He was extremely pleasant throughout the whole deal during the first visit and when we returned. I have a few cousins that will be looking for cars in the future and I will definitely refer them over to Ewing. The other staff there had great customer service too. My experience somewhat was difficult trying to negotiate my car payments with the sales manager, letting him know what I could afford with my budget.I gave them a specific amount, and they came back with something totally different than what I stated, that was the only bad experience that I had, but my salesperson was very nice, calm and patient with me, after negotiating the car payment that I could afford, everything was fine, at the end they had to get my car that I wanted from another car dealership, because I wanted blue, so I had to wait 2 days for my car to arrive at Waldorf Hyundai to pick up, that was fine. While we were checking out True Car values, Bill called me and stated he may be able to save us money if we were willing to come out to Maryland. We decided to give him a chance to earn our business. We are so glad we did! We had 2 trade-ins. Bill was able to meet Car Max values for us so we did not need to leave the dealership to go through Car Max. We also had a specific model in mind and wanted the vehicle fully loaded. Not only was Bill able to locate our vehicle but came in lower on the price than we had assumed to pay! The process of purchasing my 2013 Hyundai Sonata was wonderful, my consultant was very helpful and pleasant to deal with! When it came to repairs, and having to deal with the service staff my experience was HORRIBLE! I scheduled my appointment for a seat and sunroof repair, I was advised that it would take up 1 hour and half of my time and that if it was to be longer than that I would be provided with a loaner vehicle. I had to travel 45 minutes to an hour to get to the Sheehy Hyundai store for my appointment at 10am. Upon arriving there I was told that they were estimating it to be done around late afternoon early evening, also mentioning that they did not have any loaners available for me to use. After waiting for about 2 and half hours, they called me and stated "they did not have enough time" to fix my sunroof and that I would have to make another appointment to do so. They did not even take the time to look at the sunroof and TRY to figure out what the issue may have been. Although the process of purchasing my vehicle was wonderful, the process to try to get the issues fixed (that were present upon purchasing the vehicle) have been a terrible experience. Needless to say, I have contacted another Hyundai dealership in the hopes that they can help me w/ my repairs before having to go back to Sheehy Hyundai of Waldorf. If you are looking to purchase a vehicle from this dealership, the salesman are very pleasant. My advise would be to look elsewhere for service help.

Walked in late Saturday evening looking for a good deal on a Hyundai Santa Fe. Met with Bill Crockett and he took me outside to view the models in stock. I was searching for a vehicle for my wife and wanted to surprise her because she new nothing about this. I went to Sheehy Hyundai of Waldorf on November 26th, 2014 on an impulse looking for a car to buy within a few days since I got an offer from a family friend on my 2010 Honda Accord. I was interested in the used 2013 Santa Fe Sport they had on the lot and when my mom and I arrived Bill Crockett was waiting outside for us. Bill Crockett was a superior car salesman to the ones we had previously worked with and was very accomdating to all our needs. I know my mom and I weren't the easiest car buyers that day because we pretty much did the whole test drive, finance, etc. process completely backwards from normal. But Bill was very patient with us and helped us get the numbers we wanted and made sure we got a great deal all together. Would highly recommend Bill Crockett as a salesman for anyone looking to buy a car in the near future! Bill didn't push me to make any decisions that I wasn't comfortable with as this was my first car and I really had no idea of how the car buying process worked. I had my mind on a set price but that changed when Bill got my interest rate lowered 11 points. My car stalled on the road, and I had to have it towed to Waldorf (far from where I live). My car was serviced by Sheehy - repair costs were covered by Hyundai due to recall. I drove my car home, smelled antifreeze this continued every day for a week. I then took the car to Fitzgerald Rockville (near my home where I have my car service) this is from their report: "Found Upper Hose Clamp Left Off....Found Outlet Neck On Radiator Damaged Due to Someone Prying On Radiator Hose. Deep Gauge on neck of radiator..... Recommend to replace radiator and hoses."Sheehy told me they would not authorize the repair, but said they would tow it to Waldorf to fix, pay Fitzgerald. However, I had to pay Fitzgerald in order to get the car released, but would reimburse - said the was the easiest? They told me it would take a week, and offered me a loner car. Due to their proximity from my home, I decided a loner car would be more of a nuisance than anything so I had to rent one at my expense. I got a call the next day, and they said there was nothing wrong with my car and I should come pick it up. Huh? I then called Hyundai, because they paid for the service due to a recall. They said they needed about a week research I would say come up with their own story because they werent aware that another authorized service provider recommended replacing the radiator and hoses? They also said there was nothing they can do they were just liaisons I had to work it out with the dealers? After an unpleasant phone conversation with Hyundai, I went to pick up my car. I was told that they wouldnt reimburse me the Fitzgerald cost, because there was nothing wrong with my car. I should be angry at Fitzgerald because there was nothing wrong with my car and they tried to get me to pay for a new radiator. Problem is - I know there was a problem, because the stink got worse after a week and they even admitted to adding antifreeze. I think they simply fixed the leak without replacing the damaged radiator. They probably thought it was easier to say there was no problem rather than admitting to causing damage to my car without replacing the part they damaged.Now I'm out a substantial amount of money, have been lied to, and very disappointed with Hyundai in general. A very unhappy customer.

Who knew car buying can be this easy. I want to thank Rick Cypress. I had many dealerships contacted via email and phone, but the one thing that stood out for me during the search process was Rick (sales manager). He was the only one that texted my number and that was convenient. He communicated his willingness to help. I actually like that. Rick was not pushy and bombards you with phone call and email just to get you in the store, but when I have to ask him, he was upfront and honest and can get things done! I knew exactly the car/package that I wanted and he located it for me (even outside MD). And the price was very competitive. This Hyundai location is about 45 miles from my house. It was worth the drive when I bought my 2015 Sonata 2.0t. on Oct. 29. I truly enjoyed the team effort of this dealership. I also want to thank the other sales consultants that helped me in this process.. Ewing and James. All of them treated me like I was a family. Glenn Somerville was a pleasant, excellent and respectful sales associate that went Above and Beyond to assist us with our new car purchase. On 7/16,14 I submitted a quote for a fully loaded Hyundai Veloster Turbo and Glenn Somerville responded within minutes and was ready to assist us with finding the exact vehicle we wanted even though I knew it was only one of the color Vitamin C in the entire area he was able to get it in a matter of few hours. So on Saturday 7/19/14 we finally went purchase the vehicle and it was the most memorable experience we had ever had in purchasing a new vehicle we did all within 1 hour and 15 minutes and that is because Glenn had prepared our pre paperwork and the car was ready for us. He listened to my requirements and showed me three vehicles that met my needs. He answered all questions and provided a demonstration on all the features of the vehicle. My neighbor told me to look at Hyundai I all ready to go sign papers to take a Accord home. But after talking to my neighbor he showed me his Sonata's features and told me how much it cost I was hooked. Whan I came into Sheehy Hyundai Jermaine greeted me with making me feel like I was a free lunch that pulled onto the lot. He gave me a time to look at the cars on the lot without following me around like I would leave if he wasn't right by my side at all times. When I saw the Sonata I was interested in he got the keys and showed my things about the Sonata that my neighbor didn't even know about his. After that presentation and test drive I was sold. Dealerships get a bad rap about their high prices and the fact that they always seem to find something wrong. That was not the case for me. I took my baby for her 7500 maintenance check and the mechanic and service lady were very nice. I did not expect anything to be wrong and it wasn't. My car was serviced and washed record time. I received a report of what was done and that was it. I went on a Saturday morning and although I had an appointment I thought I would be there all morning - but I was in an out in a flash. Before going to Sheehy Hyundai, I visited several other Hyundai dealerships looking for the vehicle I wanted to purchase. One dealership gave me the typical dealership sales pitch and had descent customer service. The second dealership responded to my interest via the website I was working with but did not really show much of an interest in me. The second dealership made me wait when I had an appointment and drove long distance to see them after a long day of work. They didn't even have any brochures on the car I wanted and my sales rep wasn't even available on the day of my appointment even though I had made the appointment days before. After dealing with the first two dealerships, I visited Sheehy and even before meeting anyone in person Bill Crockett gave me an honest answer to my questions over the phone. There was no pressure or sales pitch. The entire experience was great and I felt like I was getting an honest and excellent experience. I went to the dealership, I got the trade in value I wanted for my car and my purchase price beat out the other perspective dealers. Sheehy's manager even came out to meet me as well as my mother and father who came along for the ride. While the day was progressing on my deal, the dealership offered us some barbecue sandwiches as well. Sheehy was great and went above and beyond my expectations. I highly recommend going to Sheehy if you decide to make a purchase and ask for Bill.

Once Jermaine submitted my paper work to Mark in Finance the good service and advice continued. Joe one of the managers at the Waldorf store was exceptional also. Joe help with my 4 year old grandson who accompanied me. I will recommend this dealership highly to others I associate with and my family also. My experience at Sheehy Hyundai of Waldorf was one to remember. The sales asssociate, Bill Crockett, was the deciding factor in in my decision to purchase a vehicle. He turned a curious inquiry of mine into a full-on search for the perfect Hyundai for me. Bill's calm demenour and knowledgeof the product reassured my decision. I walked away with a 2013 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid after trading in a 2007 Nissan Altima. The Sonata was an upgrade on all fronts. The process was very quick and smooth. Bill also treated me with the respect that any customer would have deserved. My previous trips to other dealers have been a good one to remember. I was never taken seriously at other dealers. I was always never approached or taken seriously when inquiring about vehicles. Iwal always led to believe I was too young or my credit wasn't strong enough. that was't the case at Hyundai. I have recommended Mr. Bill Crockett and will continue to do so in the future.

Recently bought a 2013 Hyundai Sonata with Richard (Rick) P. at Sheehy Waldorf. It was a great experience! Rick was very friendly and helpful! He wasn't pushy at all or anything like that, and just wanted to help us find the right car for us. We submitted online for a quote on the car we liked, he emailed us right away and we went in to see him! He was even helpful after we got the car when we had questions. We advised we had already received a certain APR from our credit union and they were able to match it. Overall the process was very smooth. We even got the VIP card, so we'll see how that works out for us, but it seemed great! Make sure to go see Rick at Sheehy Hyundai!

I think the facilities are basic, no thrills, it works. As for the salesman, Bill Crockett, an absolute joy to have him assist me. No pressure, no hurry, no rush. Perhaps he is a good reader of people. I don't know, but, I do know, I had no pressure. He was ready for me, when I showed up, as we had been communicating via the internet/email before I decided to come down. It's worth the drive.

I was only in the research stage because I didn't know what Hyundai had to offer. After talking to Rick, he educated me on each vehicle. I originally was looking at a used car, but with the help of salesman Norman Penn, and Manager Russ Zakeri, I drove off the lot in a brand new car with amazingggg warranties and a VIP package! I am so pleased with my purchase. Norman stayed in contact with me from the time I walked onto the lot just to peek at cars, and even after my purchase to follow up. He was very honest, patient, and not pushy at all. I spent an entire Saturday looking at cars, weighing out my options, test driving, and even looked at other dealerships but ended up back at Sheehy. I would definitely recommend considering them for your new car purchase.

I went to this dealer to purchase a vehicle and the salesman was unwilling to haggle what so ever. I offered 600 below what he wanted CASH, and still nothing. We discussed for hours and he kept saying he had others willing to give him what he wanted (probably by financing it). It STILL hasn't sold. I offered a great price and overall the man just wasn't willing. Overall I am very disappointed with them but I found a different dealership and gave them my money. They were very willing to take it .

I'm a returning Sheehy customer who actually stopped by a different dealer while deal shopping for my Hyundai Sonata. Gerald Morris took my call and ultimately got my business. He shopped inventories for the color I wanted (we discovered the other dealer I was working with was not truthful about his inventory)and he also matched and slightly exceeded my trade in amount. It was a no pressure sale. I think I did more haggling with him than he did with me. His ability to search data and provide me with facts made my purchase more of an intellectual one than emotional. His responsiveness was great as was his helpfulness while I was waiting for the car to be delivered. He's now kept me a Sheehy customer for future purchases. Kudos to Gerald! I need to make a special shout out to Calvin Jackson, Sales Manager. He spent a lot of time considering all my requests and he managed to stay pleasant and responsive. I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of and the deal seemed fair. I even bought the extended warranty which I normally don't do. It was also comforting to see him driving a Sonata. Bottom line? Sheehy outperformed the other dealers I was working with. The Hyundai sales team were professional and informative. I hope management gives them a nicer building and some kudos! Sheehy Waldorf is the best in our book! We purchased a 2011 sonata September 2010 and were back to trade it in on a 2012 model October 2011. The service from this dealership the first time we came there last year and this time to was the best we have ever seen. Dave (salesman) was awesome at explaining everything about the vehicle and working the whole deal for us and taking that trip to Va to get the sonata we wanted. Calvin (Manager) was great with us also and keeping us laughing the whole time. Plus stopping in to see us on his day off to make sure we were getting our deal done, you the man. From the moment that I stepped on the lot I was greeted with a friendly professional sales person by the name of Steve Harrington. We talked about the cars that I liked and he gave the information on the cars.
