Mediocre level of service in all my interactions with this service department. It has a very “get ‘em in, get ‘em out” feel. Listened to my service advisor being pretty short with a customer on the phone while I was waiting. Not the level of service I would expect after purchasing a $45k vehicle plus the factory extended warranty. My recent service was one of the first, more comprehensive, in Toyota’s recommended service intervals. The invoice was minimal, with no detailed information, such as tire tread depth, brake pad thickness, etc. There was also no such information provided by my less than interested service advisor. Getting feedback like that would go a long way in budgeting for common and very expensive future service visits. Three stars because the service was prompt and completed on time. And the gentleman in the parts department was very nice. We discussed modifications to my 4x4 that would keep the factory warranty in place and those that would void it. I will likely seek another dealer, even though I’ll have to travel significantly further.

Awesome all around experience. No extra waiting, I was taken right in the service center at my appointment time. Lounge was nice with ample space and amenities. The staff ensured I was taken care of and had no additional questions but were no where close to overbearing. 10/10

Well organized and prompt in time of service. Far superior than than any other dealerships in the area. Matt was quick to get the vehicle in after dropping off with a last minute appointment.

I have been having my Toyota RAV4 serviced at Shore Toyota for the last six years and it is always a positive experience. Custom service is great. The service department is always friendly and they communicate clearly. I was there today for my 20,000 mile check up. They said it would be 1 1/2 hours but I was out in 45 minutes. Thanks!

Just had 3 universal joints replaced by Shore Toyota yesterday. Another Great experience with service advisor Matt Bruschi. Super friendly and always listens to my concerns. Thanks so much for everything! Highly recommend this service center. Ask for Matt, really good guy

I took my toyota avalon for a recall call. They call me 2 hours later to pick up the car, when i start it and put it on gear the locks didnt work. I went back to the dealer i park and when getting out of the car all the lights on the car went crazy it looks like i was having a party inside my car. I went in and talk to the custumers service lady, she went and got the guy that work on my car, he ask me if i had an aftermarket alarm installed on my car, i respond sir everything on this car is original from the dealer. I got mad and the lady who went and got him ask me to go inside and wait. After an hour they come and get me saying the car is ready. I ask what was wrong and they told me he installed the wrong part but it was address, a week after now my dashbord time and date is different everyday.

I have been in numerous times after purchasing my first toyota vehicle from a provate seller and everyone is very helpful and non-pushy. Very happy with service and warranty repairs I have had. Very fast and easy. Overall great place good people

Lori was very helpful when I took my wife's 2006 Toyota Avalon in for 60,000 mile service. Another service company told me the transmission fluid should be flushed. Lori showed me the dip stick and how clear the fluid looked. She assured me she wouldn't suggest any maintenance that wasn't needed. She also explained thoroughly the maintenance required and why it was necessary. I have complete faith in her. In fact there were other service personnel who came to her with questions which she had the answers. For future service needs she will be my go to person. I can't say enough how good she made me feel. This is the first time I ever felt this satisfied about getting a car serviced, especially at a 60,000 mile one. She's the best! Lou Magliocco

I bought a used 2011 Tundra from Shore Toyota. I noticed the front bumper the paint was peeling and the clear coat was peeling as well, I stopped in to inquire about having this flaw repaired. Everyone was polite and went out of their way to ensure the issue is addressed and taken care of. I have purchased many cars over the last 30 years, but Shore toyota I feel made me feel as my issues with my truck meant something to me, and it did. But they corrected the issue and my truck looks great. I have nothing but praise for the men and women that are employed by Shore Toyota in Mays Landing,NJ I am not affiliated nor a paid endorser for Shore Toyota, just a completely satisfied customer that wanted to express myself on the over all service provided to me. I have been getting my oil changes done here on my 07 Toyota for two years. They supposedly do a 60 point inspection with the oil change as well. Along with the receipt is a checklist of everything they CHECK for you......including tires and brakes. After my first visit the service manager told me I only have 200-300 miles left on the front brakes...this was July 2011. EVERY visit since then the checklist has indicated that they are thick enough to be considered brand new....so I definitely knew they were lying about checking the brakes. Last week I was experiencing a leaky tire and took it to the tire shop. Both of my front tires were dry rotted and cracked apart the entire circumference of the sidewall where it meets the tread....with vertical cracks from the treadline to rim as well. These cracks were 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick with the rubber being completely gone. The inside edge of the tires were completely worn down trough the belts which created long holes....5 on one tire 7 on the other. It had only been 3000 miles since my last Shore Toyota visit where the checklist described them to be in excellent condition. These tires were on the brink of blowing out.....thank God one started leaking. Myself or someone else could have been seriously injured as a result of ill put trust in the service techs and managers at Shore Toyota. Shame for your negligence and shame for your lies. If you were not checking these items I could have checked them myself or had an honest mechanic do it. After consulting with one of the Shore Toyota service managers he assured me that I could not prove that his department had done anything wrong or misrepresented the work they had done.....even though I still have EVERY checklist. He went on to say that he was not willing to do anything for me because some of the techs that worked on my car did not even work there anymore....so what? Be careful out there Shore Toyota customers. I honestly hope this was an isolated incident.....but I doubt it.

We purchased both our family cars from Josh in Mays Landing, who was great through the sales process, but now that the cars are off the lot we are second class customers. I am sincerely disappointed with the service and customer relationship at Shore Toyota's service department in Mays Landing, NJ. We purchased our 2008 Certified Used Highlander less than a year ago and have had nothing but trouble with factory sensors- from the windows to tire pressure and most recently the hood latch. My car's alarm goes off CONSTANTLY through the day & night for no apparent reason. After researching Toyota forums I found thousands of others with the same known issue: the cause is a faulty hood latch - a factory part which is covered under our warranty - plus we purchased an additional warranty - yet the service department charges a $50 deductible for this replacement. How is this not a recall?! And how is it good business to ask a customer to drive 45 minutes to the nearest service center, with 2 handicapped children in tow to then pay $50 for replacement of a faulty factory part? I am thoroughly disgusted. In addition, BEFORE we had a slew of issues with my Highlander, my husband traded in his Toyota Tundra for a certified Matrix about 3 months ago. The DAY AFTER his new car was purchased we noticed the bumper hanging off! He is military and was assured by Josh that Toyota services their own vehicles at ANY Toyota service center, both at the time of purchase (because we opted IN for the additional warranty coverage), and again when my husband called the following day about the issue of the bumper clips. When he got to the service center nearest his station (CT) they told him he would have to return to the Toyota dealer he had purchased the vehicle from in NJ!!! 2 weeks later when he was finally relieved of duty, he DID return again to SHORE TOYOTA in NJ - where they told him it was not a covered issue (2 weeks now after initial CERTIFIED purchase) CHARGED him for the plastic clips needed to re-attach the bumper, and sent him off on his way to do the labor himself. Granted, not a tough task - but again - this is the way customers are treated? I will take every opportunity to ensure none of our family, friends or his military coworkers purchase from Shore Toyota, and we will be getting rid of these vehicles and purchasing anything OTHER THAN TOYOTA ASAP!!! http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/122-2nd-generation-2008-2013/259140-alarm-going-off-2.html

Your sales staff are top notch, Ive had my best buying experience at shore toyota ever and I have bought numerios vehicles. The sales manager mr Gabriel, was courteous and helful, I will recommend this dealer to all my friends, I had a very pleasent experience. Thankyou.

I found somebody that I trust (Matt Bruschi), and I only go to him when my car needs repairs. He is the reason I take my car to Toyota. He doesn't try to sell you a service you do not need, he makes you feel comfortable.

I had a very positive experience, mainly because my service advisor was Lori Reynolds. Lori took charge of my problems like she was part owner in Toyota. She smiled and listened to me and had the answers I needed to be confident in her guidance. This is the kind of employee every business in the country should have sincere. Thank You.

I recently went to purchase a certified used auto and the internet sales associate I had an appointment with left without letting me know she couldnt keep appointment. I left work early to meet with her too! I was sent to a salesman/manager who said the price was not correct and seemed to want to sell me a new vehicle only for a little less than what the used one would cost? yeah. doesn't make sense to me either. Probably won't go back

I have bought 6 or 7 brand new Toyota vehicles since 2003 starting with a brand new Matrix in 2002 before it was released, plus two more of those, a brand new Camry red with tan canvas roof and two Venza's the recent one was 40G's loaded with tow package. The best experience I ever had buying an automoble from Toyota new or used with with Tammy Cotter, sales person at Shore Toyota in Mays Landing New Jersey. I bought a used 2011 Toyota Tacoma Sport pickup. Tammy was not only polite and not at all pressurizing, but very very knowledgable about the product I was interested in. If she wasn't so pretty I would swear she was a trucker. She went over the whole truck. Being a former Truck and Tractor Mech. for Ocean Co. NJ. I didn't have a question to think of. Not even a trick question. Apart from her polite mannerism she was very professional. My wife Caroline was very impressed with her professional qualities as well as Caroline is a Medical Assistant for over 30 years for Atlantic Care where professionalism is important. I want to say my Tacoma buying experience was very pleasant right down to getting extra's put in and in a timely manner. She stuck with the sale right to the end. She should be promoted to manager or at least Sales person of the month with a nice Bonus. And let me add, I am the toughest customer on the face of the planet and have fustrated even managers. You couldn't tell that on Tammy.

Went to dealer to trade in a 2008 Sienna for a 2012 Sienna. Ended up getting a 2011 Tundra for myself and a 2010 Yaris for my daughter. They made the payments work with in the budget that was allotted. This is my fourth purchase from this dealer and they have always been great.
