Bret Solomon sold me a certified pre-owned 2014 ford escape. After being criticized, called stupid and had I guess Greg verbally fighting with me. Got my deal under my terms. 3 days later Bret calls saying there is a recall and my certified warranty was revoked. Bought the car 3rd week of Sept. Called Ford and they said the recall went out Sept 6th.......car should not of been negotiated as a "Certified Pre-owned" Bret claimed it was a day before. No it was WEEKS before! I went up with a full decision to have the local police escort me off the property. Instead they did give me the original warranty. If I didn't do my homework and agree to myself to make a huge scene I would of lost 60,000 miles of warranty. Go play the game they will get you into a nice car just prepare yourself to fight.

Nothing could have been improved. Kristina Bendel went above and beyond to help me get my new vehicle. It seemed like she did everything she could to help me. I absolutely loved having her as my sales person. I could definitely see myself going back to get another vehicle from her. She made my experience great !

Kristina was very knowledgeable and experienced in the field. Her interest in my pleasure in finding the right automobile was top notch! She wanted me to be pleased with my vehicle, and took the time to show me all of the added features prior to leaving the car lot! I will ALWAYS recommend her to all of my acquaintances and friends She is a one of a kind sales person!

This was probably my best car buying experience I ever had. The salesman, I believe his name was Mike, was very knowledgable and great to work with. He helped make everything go real smooth. No pressure. They helped find me the best car for me. They werent trying to sell me the car they wanted to sell, like the experience I had at a few other dealers. Also, the Manager Greg Solomon went out of his way to introduce himself and helped tighten up the numbers so they fit into my budget. I thought he was very proffessional and nice, not what I expected. Overall, I was very pleased. I don't know if I came in on a good day or something, but If this is how they always operate, I will be buying all of my cars from there. As long as they have something I like, of course. haha.

I was pleased there were no sales gimmicks. I went in (as a young woman) by myself because my husband had surgery and wasn't up for going with me (I was just going to look lol). Therefore I expected to get a low ball offer on my trade, ect but I didn't. I was pleased that I was treated with courtesy and respect. Brett Solomon was my salesman and did everything to make sure I was pleased and to get everything processed quickly. I would definitely highly recommend Solomon Ford to everyone! Also I LOVE my Ford Edge!!!

Looked at a few trucks on the lot, spent about 15 minutes looking and was never approached by a sales man . They were too busy talking on their cell phones standing around smoking cigarettes. They never made a move to greet me or even acknowledge that I was there. Will never see me again! Ford needs to check up on their dealerships for ratings. I guess job security is not an issue there. Probably all related to daddy.

I could not have asked for a better experience! Kristina Bendel was amazing!!! She makes you feel like your family and does everything she can to help you and get you what you want. It's because of her that I will never go to anybody else for a vehicle!! She made buying my first new vehicle the best experience ever!!! Not only will I never go to anybody but her but I will make sure that my family and friends never go any where but Solomon's and to her! Thank you Solomon's your the best!!!!

My sales associate was Kristina Bendel. She made the process hassle free and also made it an enjoyable experience for my wife and I. She got me out of a purchase and vehicle that I wasn't happy with and got me into something I enjoy driving and paying on. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a brand new Ford or used car to stop in and see Kristina.

My cousin and my Aunt referred me to Solomon Ford. Told me they bought numerous cars from Mike Martinez over the past 8 yrs. Being a female, sometimes I feel like dealerships treat you different, (don't show you respect) or act like your serious about buying a car. Well, I am here to tell you, I never felt so comfortable and happy, like I did in dealing with Solomon Ford and Mike Martinez. Now, I see why my family buy's all their cars from Mike and Solomon's. Kind, helpful, prompt, straight forward, great price, and seemed genuinely interested in helping to find a vehicle that worked best for Me.., not them. And Mike made sure he got me to the numbers I needed to be at, like he promised in the beginning. Very Pleased.

Last week I bought a used explorer from Brett Solomon at Solomon Ford. Everything about the sale was easy and fun. No high pressure, no sales games. Just upfront, honesty which isn't something you often see from dealerships. They price their vehicles right so after I did some research I already knew that I was getting a good deal. Brett's professionalism and the way that I was treated was just the icing on the cake. The General Manager Greg Solomon came over and shook my hand and thanked me personally for my business. I felt very good about the whole experience and I have been recommending them to my co-workers who need new F-150's. I will definitely be back in the future. Thank you to everyone at Solomon Ford!

I went here in December to buy a new Edge, after talking to Brett on the phone we agreed on some pricing estimates. After I arrived and drove the car we came inside and the price was a bit lower than we had talked about and I got 0% financing! Would come back here for my next purchase and can appreciate the honesty.

Started off poorly after a salesman stopped responding to my emails after I told him I couldn't come when he was working. So I decided to call to set up a visit to see one specific vehicle. I spoke with Mike and asked if the car had any issues I needed to be aware of before I drove 2 1/2 hours to the dealership. He told me there were no issues. I said I would meet him at 9am the next morning when they opened. I arrived at 9am, no Mike. He arrived at 9:20 with no apology. He got me the keys to the vehicle and sent me out to the lot by myself to find the car. After locating the vehicle, I found that the battery was dead and there was a large amount of condensation fogging up all the windows in the car. When I came back to the office and told him the battery was dead, he said "I knew you were going to say that." Still no apology. He says "I'll get someone to give it a jump." I figured since I drove all this way I might as well drive it to see if things might change. Immediately after he leaves the office to get the car jumped, his boss (still no apology) asks me if I might be interested in a new vehicle. I started getting angry and told him that I had driven hours to this dealership because they had this specific vehicle. If I wanted to buy a new car I could go to the dealer 10 minutes from my house. Ugh. So they then proceeded to give me a low ball offer on my trade in and I told them I wasn't interested and drove home. Worse than usual experience with a dealer and that's really saying something.

We traveled over 2 hours to see a van that was on CARS.com and when we got there we had to wait for it to be cleaned, was still a mess after the cleaning. I spoke with the internet person for weeks to plan to see this van. We could not see it for that long because the assistant mangers wife had it on vacation. Adding over 3000,00 mile on it after the listing was posted and still asking the same price. Was willing to still see it and when we did you could tell that it had body repair done to it in the front, masking tape was still on the fender. You could also tell that it was hit from the back, the moldings did not match up together they almost overlapped. When we asked about it they had no idea what we was talking about, and they may not have, people lie all the time. We was not going to buy, after seeing that. so the assistant manger comes out and gets VERY, VERY, rude with my husband and myself. WORST DEALERSHIP EVER. I would hope that they would find a new assistant manager if they want to stay in business. We are retired military and we have shopped many car dealers but this was the WORST. We went out of this lot and said a prayer for this man because he needed it to deal with his anger, NOT A PEOPLE PERSON. He is in the wrong line of work. I would look elsewhere before you buy.

I was extremely interested in two of theirs cars. They apparently were not interested in talking to me about the cars. I called and left multiple messages. Their email replies are terrific but they need to improve the personal connection.

Totally the worst car/truck dealership in the world. I would have paid "CASH" for a new Ford F-150, but thanks for Greg Solomon, the General Manager, I walked out of their place and bought a brand new Chevy Silverado 1500 from Kenny Ross. That guy was so ignorant and disrespectful to me that I would not even have given him a "penny". BTW: ZERO incentives at your place, $4800 at Kenny Ross Chevy, Irwin, PA. $15,000 for my trade at your place, $18,000 at Kenny Ross.... TOTAL $7,800 Saved for absolutely a better vehicle. All-Star-Package too: heated leather seats, voice command, bed liner, 4 door crew cab, 5.3 V-8, etc... Thanks Greg for saving me a TON of cash... PS: My wife wanted to drive up to your place, Solomon Ford, Brownsville, PA, and show you my new truck but I said, "Why waste the gas".

I drove about 100miles to buy my truck at Solomon Ford. I called ahead of time and Spoke with Ryan, so he knew about the time when I would get there and had the truck washed and ready to test drive when I arrived. Ryan, greeted me as soon as I got there. he was friendly and very helpful through out my whole buying experience. It was a very good buying experience from start to finish.

As my husband and my self are in the market for a new F-150, I began my research online to see where we could get the best deal and start from there. I began my search to find that Solomon had the best deal I could find online and we decided to make the hour+ drive there. When we arrived we were not greeted outside as we walked and looked at vehicles for nearly 20 minutes. We then became upset and put that aside to think that possibly no one could completely see us and inside we went. We stumbled upon a sales individual who was very arrogant and his name seems to escape me as I am pretty sure he never offered it to us. We advised that we were in the market to purchase a new F-150 as we saw one online that sparked our interest and was very well priced as compared to other dealers. While talking with him he immediately wanted to take our credit information which I then advised we wouldnt need to do that at this time. He then became bitter and advised that he would have to check and see what rebates we would qualify for. Confused, I advised him that I had done a little research and found one listed at a certain online price. Further into conversation he advised that the online price includes all rebates available. NO ONE qualifies for all the rebates and the price then jumped nearly $3000 dollars. With this I have found that 3 of the following must apply to get to that price. You must be a college student, be in the military, own a ranger or trade something in to get to that price. Once we found this information out we then immediately left the establishment as they will not earn any business from us or anyone we know due to this experience. This is absolutely ridiculous that a company would advertise an online price that is so deceiving to a customer to bring them in the door. This is why car shopping is so frustrating that there are companies that will lie like this. I would hate to see how they have lied to people who have actually purchased vehicles there. My best advice is DO NOT PURCHASE HERE!

My experience at Solomon Ford was a bad one, I was shopping to get a new Ford F150- I will never go back, neither will I send friends or family etc.. I will say one thing though..... The manager gene or greg? Is an arragant manager who only cares about one thing.. SELLING A CAR, I felt very pressured and belittled when I came to visit this store. Like I said, I will not return!! Although I will admit, the Solomon girl is a beauty, the only person in the dealership with a positive attitude.

I arrived at Soloman Ford on a Tuesday afternoon. I had done a fair amount of research, read multiple reviews, and decided on an F150 with the Ecoboost engine. I was very excited to test drive the vehicle to see if it lived up to the hype. Within 30 seconds of meeting the salesperson (I've purposely forgotten his name so when I meet other people with the same name, I don't immediately feel disgusted and dislike them), that excitement evaporated. I was told that there would be no test drives until they ran my credit. There was no way I was going to allow that to happen and told the salesperson that. He then herded me inside like he didn't hear me. He pulled out a credit application and tried to take my information. Very firmly I told him that there was no way I was giving him my information until I had driven the truck and had agreed on a price. He brought over a manager who obviously had a very high opinion of himself and told me rather bluntly that they needed to make sure I "could buy a car before anything else would be discussed." He also added that someone my age typically can't get approved for a vehicle that expensive. Little did they know that I am a new senior associate at a law firm and I have never paid a bill late in my life. They would have known this had they even taken a minute to ask me anything about myself or why I was there. The discussion then went it my trade in. It wasn't in the best of shape being that the car got me through high school, college, and then law school. I understood that it wasn't valuable but I didn't expect for them to say with a laugh that I would have to pay them to take it. I had that car for a long time and while I didn't expect much for it, there is a certain amount of sentimental value to it and for them to insult my vehicle that has served me so well, well that was the last straw. Without a word I stood up and walked rather quickly out of the showroom and I will never go back. Solomon Ford epitomizes every negative stereotype that people have about those in the automotive business. They refused to take me seriously because of my age. What they didn't take into consideration was that given my apparent youth, I will be buying many more vehicles in my lifetime and not one of them will ever be purchased from the Solomon Auto Group. Ever. If you enjoy being degraded and enjoy being made to feel as though you aren't worth the effort, then Solomon Ford is the place for you. However if you have even an ounce of self respect you'll purchase elsewhere...like I did.

I had a vechile all picked out and ready to purchase. We settled on a price and I was told the truck would be ordered. When I finally got ahold of someone two days later the price went up $2000. He made up excuses why and tried bulling me on the phone. I was told "This is one strick basesball and that's the price, sorry." I will never return to Soloman Ford. The place was empty the entire time I was there and it's for obvious reasons.

This was a strange experience. I EMailed Solomon Ford for an ePrice quote on a used vehicle through their website, and received no response. I EMailed again the next day, and the price I received quickly in response was the same as on the Internet. Oh well, that was useless. The EMail I received also said it was the owner's son's girlfriend's car. Hmmm. Maybe, maybe not, but it was a fairly rare car so I went to the dealership anyway. There was nobody on the lot at 11:00AM on a sunny Saturday, which should have told me to just leave. However, I was quickly approached by Norm. Norm is apparently like everyone else there - a family relative. He also claimed to be hard of hearing, though he heard me quite clearly from 40 feet away while I was quietly talking to my girlfriend in the dealership later. Anyway, test drive and all that, and then numbers talk. Norm insisted I tell him up front what I wanted for my trade in, I asked for their best price, he refused to give me anything, so I quoted the top range of my black book value. Yes, I knew the black book value going in. He said we were literally thousands of dollars apart, so I also told him he is selling comparable vehicles at much higher prices than I was requesting, and that I realized they needed to make a profit. Norm acted like he didn't know the prices of the vehicles on his lot, looked them up, and explained our seemingly $7,000 gap or so was because the other cars had leather seats. Fine Corinthian I guess... Norm didn't even bother to talk to the finance manager. So I inspected the car again and asked about some decals on it that misrepresented the trim level. This drew a personal visit from the owner's son, who didn't seem real happy about the questions, and I believe lied to me about the ease of getting them off the car. So I took more time to think, and told Norm I'd still like to discuss money. Norm surprisingly gave me a number that was only $1400 less than what I originally asked for, then said he needed to talk to the finance guy. When Norm returned he didn't even make it back to his desk before telling me we cannot do business, and that I should leave. No counteroffer. Nothing. So I left after what was a complete waste of time. My only conclusion is they are not interested in doing business with informed customers. Their choice for sure, but if you've read this far, also know they listed the carfax on the vehicle I test drove as "1 Owner", when it clearly had two prior sales - at Solomon and Monroeville Dodge. My only conclusion is I will not bother with them ever again. You conclusion should probably be to proceed with caution.

This was probably one of the easiest deals I have ever made. Contacted via phone first after finding vehicle and pretty much did the deal over the phone. Drove up, singed papers and walked out. It was that easy.

I went in to look at a few Jeep Grand Cherokee's. I mentioned that I really wanted the silver one, but also liked the red one. As soon as the salesman, Rich heard that I liked the red Grand Cherokee and because he brought it in on trade, that was all he cared about. He wanted to check the numbers and my husband and I sat in the dealership for well over an hour. We did get to look in the red Cherokee, but never let us look in the silver one or offered to let us test drive either of them. Once some financing went through, they told me that it wasn't in my price range, even though they never told me what my payment would have been. Also, they never asked me if I had a cosigner, which I did. Maybe that would have helped getting the loan to go through. They also said they would call me the following day about if any financing went through and I am still waiting on a call. I will NEVER go back to Solomon's again.

Matched my lowest best deal from from other Ford dealers right nere locally (not Pittsburgh). No high pressure from salesmen---unlike most hussel and bussel dealershps this one is like a old school laid back store and I love that, hey most of thier salespersons been there for years along with many mature looking repairmen gotta like that...I will be back long as they stay like this. At least give them a vist you will see what I mean.

I had used Cars.com to find the right F-250 and I called Solomon Ford and spoke with a young man that outlined the price, rebates and likilood of a trade. After verifying my contact information, he said he needed to check a few things with is manager and that he'd call me back. He never did! I was pricing a $50,000 truck and got this treatment...imagine if I was looking for a Ford Focus!

I have had a horrible experience with Solomon Ford Dealership in Brownsville, PA. I was interested in purchasing a brand new vehicle and the sales manager was completely unreasonable when it came to breaking my purchase price down to the monthly payment. They refuse to look at my partnership plan through my place of employment. The sales consultant was honestly trying to make the sale but his manager kept interrupting our conversation telling me to not to worry with the numbers because they will look big on paper. He acted like we were stupid when my fiance and I both have degrees in business. The sales manager only wanted to talk numbers in the sales parking lot and not on paper. We went home empty handed and inquired for them to send us a break down. The sales manager called us with a new monthly payment and wanted us to agree to it without showing us anything. He said heres your break down; give me X dollars and your trade in and your monthly payment will be X dollars. I said thats all fine and well but Im not going to agree with anything until I see it broken down and Im not giving you a free vehicle. He gave me 45 minutes to call back and agree with the new monthly payment or the offer was over or I could give him some money to hold the offer until Monday. I said Dont worry about it because we are done here! He then proceeded to tell me to never step foot on his lot again! Is this how you treat your customer? I just wanted information on where this payment was coming from and he refused. I expected this type of behavior from a used car lot but not a Ford Dealership! After this experience, I dont believe we will buy Ford. I would rather deal with Dodge or Chevy.

Where do I start. Bought a beautiful used car from them but the process was awful. I tried paying with a check (I had more then enough money) but the general manager refused and was extremely rude. He made me call in a wire transfer which took an extra day (I love over an hour away). Showing up day two they told me initially the money wasn't there (even tho it was). The silver lining was my salesman (Mark) was awesome and did everything he could (his boss was te problem). When I finally drove the car away it had only half a tank of gas (again I live over an hour away). And my tires were half inflated (26 psi instead of 44psi). If the used car wasn't so awesome I wouldn't have taken my business there and will not in the future

I purchased a new 2012 Escape and a 2010 Focus in early 2012. Everything was going well until I had a problem with my tires on the Focus. After having the car for only 6000 miles the service department told me they were bad. They told me there is nothing they could do for me, it was my fault. Tires do not go bad after 6000 miles if there in not something wrong with the car. I call Ford and they told me that tires are wear itmes and are not covered by any warranty. I went as far a s I could go in Ford and got no help. They offered to replace the 4 tires at half of there cost but they would never give me a price. Please stay awat from this dealership. Go to Davies in Charleroi or C. Harper in Belle Vernon.

emailed the dealership letting them know what car i was interested in, and that I was inquiring about the internet price. no response from them, either phone, email or even when i went to look at the cars.I know that they received my request, i received an "automatic reply" i went as far as to let them know when i was coming. I was the only customer on the lot for 35 minutes, looking around the cars, there is no way a salesperson didn't see me. They still work on commission, don't they? I did all the leg work, this was a done deal, I went there to buy a car, I saw the car on the lot that was on the internet. I will go elsewhere. If they can't bother to sell me the car, what is their service like after the sale?
