I love my truck! The staff a southern car emporium were completely honest with me about my truck and treated me very well. They even drove me to my bank so I could cut a check. I recently bought an altima from here. The people were great. They were so helpful. I have been to several car lots looking and this was the only one that was willing to negotiate and fit the price with my budget. As a single mom of 2 kids I am very grateful for that. Thank you southern car!!!!!

I emailed and called as well, but the only response I got was an email saying "If you want to know about a certain car, visit our website". If I am going to drive 300 miles for a car, I want to talk to an actual person! It seems that a lot of their cars are salvage, rebuilt, or bonded title previous wrecks, which I avoid like the plague, because they are almost impossible to trade in later. I had been looking at two identical cars, and after checking the Carfax on their car, (at the other dealership, who was more than willing to run a Carfax) It turns out the one that Southern Emp. had, was another horror story with a bonded title. The twin to that one that I was also considering, was a 2 owner car with a clean Carfax, with a complete service history from the day it was made, and it was priced the same as their bonded title previous wreck was. Guess which one I bought? The one with the wreck free, complete service history, 2 owner car! I am glad now that they didn't respond better, it saved me a 300 mile trip! Other than that, I know nothing about them. It's the old cliche'...."you get what you pay for". Nothing personal!

Let me start off by saying, before looking here, do your research on rebuilt titles, specifically Tennessee. Unlike what I was told by other people, these can be insured just like a normal vehicle that hasn't been wrecked and have to undergo an inspection before getting a rebuilt title. I originally went into look at a Focus but when I saw the civic I knew that was what I wanted, even though the sticker price was a little more than I had to spend, but luckily they were kind enough to work with me on the price. The quality of repair left a little to be desired, but after driving it for over 1,500 miles in a month, it all just seems to be cosmetic, which isn't significant to me. It would also be nice if they would offer complimentary carfaxes since these are cars that have been rebuilt to see what exact damage happened and how the car was cared for before the accident. Other than that, I would recommend Southern Car Emporium to anybody looking for a nice car on a college budget.

Not very friendly and didn't want to show us anything when I told them how much money I was working with. What he didn't know is I had more money but had to start our lower... He could have sold me something but his inventory was in rough shape...

I went to Southern Car Emporium bought a 2005 Ford Freestyle the first week of having it i started having problems so i took it back to Southern Car Emporium i explained what was happening to the vehicle the macanic tightened the battery and that's all he did. I went inside to pick up my license plate and i ask the lady at the front desk would the macanic be honest with me and she said the guy's who work on the car's didn't know anything about the mechanical part of the car. I was referred to take it to another place. I think that it is unfair to the me i just get this car and the very first wk of getting it has problem's and can't take it back to the place where it was bought. So this means more money out of my pocket. I am a UNHAPPY camper.

Saw a truck online which looked nice and was reasonably priced. The test drive went smooth and the salesman was not pushy and answered all my questions. Allowed me plenty of time to check out the vehicle and I never felt pressured to buy. Even came down on the price a bit, which I appreciated. The entire staff was friendly, and the buying process was smooth. Would definitely recommend to others...

I needed a new vehicle after my wife's accident...I shopped around and thought I wouldn't find a truck that would fit into my budget. The I went to Southern Car. I found a gmc truck for the perfect price with great miles and my wife and I couldn't be happier with our purchase. If you need a vehicle, this IS THE PLACE!!! Great people..great vehicles.

I was looking for a certain car and flew to Atlanta from St. louis to buy one from a large dealer in Lagrange. After that fiasco, I drove to Southern car emporium. I called ahead and they agreed to wait for me until 7pm which was 30 minutes after they normally close. I drove the car and talked to my wife about it on the phone and they never rushed me. I bought the car and drove it to st. louis that night. They were very consiterate and did give me a great deal all around on my car. It might not be a fancy new dealership, but they are honest about what they have and will deal. Thanks.

My husband and I recently bought a 2009 Dodge Caliber. LOVE THIS CAR. This is a rebuild, but the repairs were excellent. Love the way this car handles, plenty of room and the gas mileage is great, as advertised. Great vehicle and the people were super nice and the clerk went out of her way to make this happen for us. We would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a good used vehicle.

Very misleading place. Car listed as a private sale. NOT Was told son was handling deal, never saw him. Told car was in excellent condition. Absolutely not. Scratched, dented, faded, dirty, etc. After test drive, waited 10 minutes inside to give keys to someone and no one was around so finally hunted some to relinquish keys to. Please beware going here. Wanting top dollar for mid to low mid cars

Looking for a first car for my new driver. Saw a couple of cars at this dealer that looked promising. When we went to look at them and possibly do test drive they did not look near as good in person as they did on website. Most of their cars have been in some sort of wreck. I will say the man was totally upfront about that. They repair and paint, paint jobs not all that good. And to be quite honest their prices where not in line with the quality of the vehicles.
