The service department is thorough and efficient. I greatly appreciate their attention to detail and them taking good care of my Hyundai. Thanks to their work, I have never regretted my choice of car. Highly recommend!! UPDATE: They just performed the 15,000 mile service, and I asked them to detail my car. They did an incredible, spectacular job!! The engine compartment looked showroom new. The interior was spotless. The wheels gleamed, the tires were glossy black, and the body shimmered in the sun. I couldn't possibly be happier. Thank you to the detail man for making my day!!

Chris was awesome to work with. He listened to what I was looking for and didn't try to pressure me into test driving something I wasn't interested in. My overall experience purchasing my new 2022 Hyundai Elantra SLE was really good. The salesman I worked with was extremely helpful, attentive, and informative. Car prices are atrocious across the board in modern times but the prices at this location are fair for the market. If I have any complaint its a $900 "add on" I did not ask for nor want, was slipped into the mix that I was told could not be removed. I overlooked this only because everything else went smooth, I wanted to get the transaction completed, and since I was spending $30,000 on a car, I "overlooked" the $900 "add on".

I went to test drive elantra, but was not impressed with the vehicle. Then I tried sonata, and it really felt good. I have specific budget and sonata sport did really meet my requirements for "On Road" price. I am very happy with my purchase, also because its my first car. I love the space and drive. Though it would have been nice to have additional features like sunroof/moon roof, heated seats and blind spot indicators. But either which way I am happy with my purchase as it did really meet my budget which is more important than nice to haves.

My wife ended up buying another vehicle from another dealership but I felt obligated to let people know about the salesman we ran into at Stew Hansen Hyundai. We shopped at about 6 different dealerships in town and about 3 of them were owned by same company (Ken Garff) but out of all of them one stood out the most, Stew Hansen Hyundai. The staff there was amazing and Lee Emery will not persuade you to buy a Hyundai but he will make you WANT to buy a vehicle from his dealership. They ALL work as a team and Lee made us feel like family which made it so difficult when my wife chose another manufacturer due to a silly sunroof that we NEVER use. They promote TEAM HYUNDAI at the dealership and if you visit them you will know why.

This was the best car buying experience I have ever had. Nick was my salesman and he was soooooo knowledgeable about my vehicle and the safety features on the vehicle. He took the time to listen to my needs and wants for my new vehicle. Nick even knew about the Sirius/XM subscriptions. My experience at Stew Hansen was great! The only thing I would change is that the fiance people be able to reach someone at Hyundai finance so their customers won't have to wait too long, this was not the Stew Hansen finance managers fault, this goes to Hyundai finance. My experience was so good and Nick was so awesome that my husband will be going to Nick to get his new vehicle.

Overall great experience and would recommend Tony as a salesperson. Spent most of the day at the dealership with a 2 year old but everyone made that easier to do. My car is a beauty even if it's my first 4 door mom car. I wanted the small suv but Tony let me drive what I originally had in my mind but much to my surprise my car had more room! I came in just for a look at the Santa Fe. Not really intending to buy that day. I went home with a new Santa Fe. So far I am very pleased with my purchase and have had follow up visits from my salesman (Nick Schmit) to make sure I was satisfied with the vehicle and if I had any issues. The overall service I recevied when purchasing my vehicle was excellent. When I arrived James Winters was working with another customer and lined me up with Jason (forgot his last name). Jason answered all of my questions and valued my trade. We also took a test drive. Then I gave Jason what I wanted to spend. Jason did an excellent job getting to the number I wanted to be at. I also worked with Troy Kline, who has also excellent with all aspects. The followup of James and Jason was amazing. Both called me 1 week after the sale to check in with me. They also scheduled time for me to come in and get tree sap off the vehicle. From the appointment to test drive to the purchase of the lease, the service was excellent. The service of the service department (when my 3 week car was leaking oil) was not as great. If it was not for Troy, my experience would have been awful. The service department tried to give me an appointment that was almost 1 month away when I told them it was leaking. They also did not want to accommodate with providing me a vehicle. Once at the dealership the service was timely and friendly, however, on the phone was not a great experience.

The Hyundai seems good. Just never take your own American-made car there for a trade-in. The trade-in value of your car is based on cosmetic appearance alone. Mine had 6-8 pea-sized hail dings on it. I had not fixed the fog lights that I'd crunched into the edge of the sidewalk downtown because they're not required to be used by law. I had put $100 into taking the yellow stain off the headlights so I could see better driving at night. I had regularly maintained my car. It had 1-year-old tires on it that were always rotated on schedule. Changing oil was done on schedule. I replaced a fuel pump in it (I had a 14-year-old Dodge Neon with 61K mi. on it). In all, I'd put $3K worth of maintenance & replacement parts in the car in the last 3 years. Stew Hansen Neon gave me $250 for my car. When I went online, the value of my car was between $1K and $1,500. It was a huge disappointment. We thought we had 1 car bought; then it turns out, that car had already been sold, so we started over again! In all, it took 5 hours to buy a new Hyundai. I'm told that in the greater Des Moines area, this is the normal amount of time it takes to buy a car. It's simply new to me.

Marshall was very professional and friendly. I was unsure about purchasing a car at first and only came to check out our options. Don't get me wrong Marshall didn't push us into purchasing a car, we were just unsure that we would be able to get financed and afford one. After his reassurances and pointing out the features of our new car we, my wife and I, new we would love to drive a new car. We were especially pleased when the finance guy came back and told us we could drive away with no money down and a much lower interest rate than what we had. Now that we have had the car for a couple weeks we are even more thankful that we were able to get a new car as it drives wonderfully and meet all of our needs. Thank you for making and selling us such a wonderful vehicle, we absolutely love it.

I had a great experience from the moment I drove onto the lot of Hyundai. Lee Emery came out and asked if I was looking for anything specific, then showed me some cars I would be interested in. No one at Hyundai was forceful or obnoxious in selling me a car like salesmen were at other dealerships I had went to that day! Lee made good selling points of many cars so that I could decide on one I liked! Once I decided I wanted the 2017 Elantra, the finance department worked with me to make sure I had a payment that was something I could afford. Everyone at Hyundai is very nice and was fantastic at answering any questions I had and helping me in any way!! I would and have recommended to any one looking for a car to go to Stew Hansen Hyundai! I feel like I was presented (and accepted) a very reasonable price from Stew Hansen Hyundai 2016 Sonata. It was during the closing and financing, and eventual delivery that was a little problematic. I was being presented various extended warranties that would have increased my car payment up to near an extra $100 per month. The main reasons I chose Hyundai were price, reliability (how the car had been rated by independent reviews), ASSEMBLED in the United States, not Mexico or Canada (are you reading this Ford and GM!), and the 10 year-100,000 warranty. I felt I was attempting to buy a car that didn't needed an extended warranty. I was buying the car based on faith and reputation only to have someone tell about all the things that could go wrong over the next 6-7 years of ownership. Honestly, if there is a need to buy an extended warranty, then you shouldn't be buying the car. The other problem was how long I had to wait for delivery. It was late when were 'closed' the sale and the dealership had actually closed about an hour earlier. I was going to lick up the car the next day. I didn't arrive until after 1:00 PM and the car had not yet been prep'd. I think my salesman actually went back and prep'd the car himself. The outside of the car was clean and the seats and carpet spotless, but after I drove off, I noticed that film that builds up on the interior glass over time. That was something that did not get cleaned and I ended up doing it myself later. All that being said, I would still recommend Stew Hansen Hyundai and especially salesman Jake Longden to anyone interested in a new car at a fair and reasonable price.

So far, I am absolutely very happy with my Tucson Sport. Just say NO when you consider Stew Hansen Hyundai for buying -or- repair work! As many others have said, they agree to a price, then the 'manager' gets involved and the price goes up for unexplained reasons. We left 'kicking ourselves' that we agreed to such a terrible purchase price. Now, 2 years later my engine is knocking and the service dept says "that's normal". Normal doesn't mean OK - seems like they don't want to do the warranty work...

The car that I received was not the car that I was told it would be. I was told it would be the same as the car that I test-drove, which was loaded with options, yet with a hatchback (that I wanted). This car has the bare minimum of options. There is no bluetooth, which I was told would be in it, and I specifically asked for. The salesman I was working with (Moh) was brand-new, and he did a great job as far as I'm concerned. He even offered to set up my bluetooth when I picked the car up, so he obviously did not know it was the wrong car either. The car is OK at best. I had already signed for it before the car showed up, so there was really nothing I could do at that point. I feel lied to for sure.

As soon as I got on Stew Hansens pre-owned car lot I was promptly greeted by Elvedin, at which time I told him the predicament I was in. I was very unsure of what I was looking for; a sports car, economy car, luxury car, two door or four door. He was great in giving me suggestions after showing me numerous models and doing test drives (without any pressure at all). I was immediately impressed with his genuine concern for my satisfaction and getting me in the right car that fit my personality. I did buy a certified 2013 Sonata Limited Turbo that has all the luxury features I was used to with good gas mileage and sporty looks. When it came to price, I got it below book value without the hassle and run around of haggling, as is the case with some dealers. Elvedin indeed made this a very pleasant and stress-free experience. I was impressed again, when a few days later I received a follow up call to find out how the Sonata was working out for me. The entire shopping/buying experience was a pleasure. I will not hesitate to pass on his name to friends any family. Will definitely work with him again in the future. Tony created an exciting environment to buy a car. He really sold the car and it's features in the best way possible. JP was also around and was fun to talk to. Had some great tips and pointers on the Genesis. The finance guy was very pushy. I walk in thinking everything is set ready to go any he wants to sell coverage. After repeated saying I was not interested, he dropped the prices significantly. He also explained the different coverages poorly making it seem like they were packages and not individual products. Really left me feeling bitter towards Stew Hansen and their process. Had it not been for that situation, I would give perfects across the board. That being said, great sales staff. Would totally and probably will work with Tony again. The sign documents situation needs to change and that staff member needs to work on selling his products rather than pushing them on customers.

Love our Sonata. Top off the line, beautiful! The staff at Hyundai were serious about winning it's as a customer. They were up against another brand, but the other company couldn't even come close in value, customer service, or professionalism. No hard sell tactics, but there to make a win-win deal. This is the second Hyundai on our family. We had a new Jeep Cherokee, also fully loaded, that we lost in a fire. Though we loved the Jeep, the Sonata gives us the feeling we are riding on ultimate luxury.

I am a first-time new car buyer and was honestly terrified of the process before I got started. I thought I'd be rejected straight out since I have never had a new car before (I had previously bought older cars from individual sellers and paid cash or had a very small loan). Dennis and JP took care of me from start to finish and got me into a great car for an affordable payment, and also added in some nice incentives and promotions. My only minor disappointment was the trade-in value on my old car, but I honestly wasn't expecting much from it since it was so old and needed a lot of work, and they basically told me to pull what I wanted out of it and they'd take care of the rest for me. I feel like I have a good, dependable car now that will last me for a very long time, which is probably the best thing I could have going for me right now.

Sales staff is fun and enjoyable, very low pressure sales tactics. Sales managers I think low-balled a bit too much on the trade in, enough where it was a bit insulting. I have bought from there before and they seem to be taking the sales staff a little more out of the negotiation equation, and I don't think I really like that. I would rather build a relationship with my sales person then have the management swoop in mid-transaction. Really took the away from the personal feeling I would prefer.

Overall good experience. Friendly and knowledgeable. Downside; finance manager forced me to buy gap and the extended warranty, by crossing out the option to not purchase on his sheet of paper and told me I had to buy gap, extended warranty and service contract. I had to cancel the extended warranty later.

This was my first time purchasing a brand new vehicle. I was really nervous about the process, but everyone who helped me was really friendly and helped make the process easy. Lee even stayed late, past closing time, to show me all the fancy bells and whistles on my new car. Overall it was a good experience and I would definitely recommend the dealership to family or friends looking to purchase a new vehicle.

To be honest, I was very nervous about the whole going to the dealership, financing process, but STEW HANSEN HYUNDAI changed my mind. I felt welcomed from the moment I walked into the dealership! Matt Young was my agent and I can say I am more than happy he made my vehicle journey stress free!!! Matt was very patient and attentive. I told him what I was looking for (exact color, interior and exterior design) and right away gave me packages for me to look at. Only took 2 tries for me to fall in love with my '16 Elantra ! Dennis took the time to let us drive multiple vehicles and even though we drove a bunch, he never rushed us. He was very patient and willing to meet our needs and never once tried to push us. This was pretty impressive as the weather was not favorable in the middle of winter. We ended up with a great, brand new Santa Fe that meets our needs at a price well within our budget. The sales staff in general were pretty good in finding us additional discounts to help reduce the price.

I can't say enough GREAT things about Stew Hansen's Hyundai, and Hyundai Motor Finance. I had already purchased a 2015 Sonata and was in a wreck and the vehicle was totalled within 3 months. I was so afraid that I wouldn't get a good deal because I had no trade in towards a new lease but Gus at the dealership went above and beyond to get me into a GREAT new vehicle as soon as possible. The leasing department took care of everything with the totalling of the previous vehicle and contributed a lot into getting me into my new one. I can't say how happy it makes me to have been treated so great. This is now my 4th Hyundai Sonata, my 3rd purchased with Gus and he is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! He remembers details about his customers, is friendly, and works hard to meet your needs. I used to recommend Stew Hansen to everyone I knew. Recently, they have become sloppy. My family has bought every single one of our cars from Stew Hansen for at least the last six or seven years and have never had a problem until recently. A few months prior I went to have my car serviced for a simple and easy oil change at the dodge property. I picked up my car and everything was absolutely fine, until I arrived home and noticed there was a dent/huge scrape in my back bumper. I immediately called my dealer and she assured me she would handle it and it would come as no additional charge to me. Thank goodness she kept her word, but the mistake made in the service department was a major inconvenience and left me without a car for two days. After this incident, I decided to give the service department one more shot because I was treated so well by my dealer. Her customer service was enough to win me over and encourage me to try Stew Hansen's service department one more time. Two weeks ago, I was told I needed to replace all 4 of my tires, so I decided to go with Stew Hansen Hyundai as they were the best deal for what I would be getting. Everything seemed fine when I drove it off the lot, and I was very happy with how smooth the ride seemed to be. However, when I drove it on the interstate the next morning, everything was wobbly and extremely uncomfortable. I was unable to reach the service department Friday, but was able to get in touch with them Saturday morning. I dropped my car off and thought everything was going to be handled appropriately as the service manager, Angel, assured me he would take care of it. After a couple of hours, I received a call insisting I needed to call back as he needed to discuss some information he discovered about my vehicle. I called and was placed on hold for at least fifteen minutes and was still not able to get through to the service manager, so the woman directing calls assured me she would pass a message on to the manager to give me a call. I heard nothing for over two hours and finally called back as I knew the department was closing early. I eventually got in touch with someone (who was not the manager) and was told I needed to bring it back the following week to replace the defective tire. Fine. I ended up dropping it off Tuesday, October 20th at about 10 a.m. as I had an appointment with the service manager after everything I'd experienced. He assured me it would take about 2.5 hours and I'd have it back around 12:30 or so. I called about 1:30 because I hadn't heard from anyone in the service department and was again placed on hold for about 15 minutes while the lady at the front desk got in contact with someone. She told me she would find my service adviser and give me a call back. My service adviser ended up calling me about five minutes later and explained they were going to replace all four of my tires once again and that hed have it done by 3:30 p.m. I stressed I would like to take advantage of the shuttle service (which I believe ends around 4 p.m.) because I had a meeting right away at 5 p.m. He assured me it would be done. As 3:30 rolled around, I had yet to receive a call. I ended up calling about 3:50 p.m. because I needed to be shuttled back to get my car before my 5 oclock meeting. Margaret was the customer service lady who, unfortunately, answered my call. I very, very politely inquired about my car and she was the rudest woman I have ever dealt with at stew Hansen. I asked if my car was done and she placed me on hold (this was not the issue) for about 5-7 minutes. After she had placed me on hold, she informed me my service adviser had clocked out, so shed send me to his voicemail. She explained the tire guy was looking for Tony (my service adviser, apparently) so he could sign off on the tires. At this point, I was extremely frustrated and simply asked her if she could put me through to Angel, the original manager I had made the appointment with, or if she could ask someone whether or not my car was officially done or if the tires had even been put on. She responded in an extremely rude way, Well thats why Im trying to put you through to his voicemail, isnt it? I was shocked. Never in my life have I been treated this way by Stew Hansen. Ive worked in customer service my entire life, so I can 100% completely relate to customers who are nasty and rude to those just directing the calls, which is why I SPECIFICALLY SAID, I know this isnt your fault I ended up leaving Tony a voicemail, but also called back to talk to a different customer service lady. This lady (I dont quite remember her name, possibly Ruth?) was EXTREMELY NICE and pleasant and actually acted like she cared about what had been happening all day. As I spoke to her, I requested to talk to Angel once more, and she explained she wasnt able to pull him out of the meeting he was currently in. She assured me she was sending him an instant message about what was going on and that I would be receiving a call from him as soon as he could call me back. My service adviser ended up calling me about 4:30, which unfortunately, was too late for me to come pick up my car before my meeting. I asked Tony specifically how late a manager would be there, because I really wanted to speak to someone; he assured me there would be a manager here until 8 p.m. I explained Id be around to pick it up about 6:30 p.m. and he said thatd be fine and someone would be around. I arrived to the service department at 6:30 and there was absolutely NO ONE around. I spoke to a salesman who was very polite, cordial, and helpful. I really wish I would have gotten his name as he was the best person I dealt with throughout my entire experience. He had never met me before and actually treated me like a valued client and that my concerns were real. To this day, October 29th, I have yet to receive a follow-up call from the service manager at Stew Hansen Hyundai. I will NEVER service my car at stew Hansen again and will NEVER buy another car from stew Hansen after the way I was treated. Please, next time, take a little more pride in your work and your repeat customers, because youre about to lose at least four.

My daughter graduated from college a couple years ago and is teaching 1st grade at a school in the Des Moines area. Back in February, I gave Stew Hansen a try. I was initially turned off by a person who no longer works there and boy am I glad I gave them a second chance. What a difference from our 2001 Accent! It took awhile but with Danielle's patience and expertise my husband took it for a test drive. I was too afraid at the time. But we both got back with the same decision. This was the car for us. We are in our 70's so it took awhile to get us updated a little before we could leave the lot. Two months ago I bought a used 2014 Hyundai Veloster Base model from another dealer. I chose that dealer. Because I constantly hear their adds on the radio. Saying that they will approve anyone. No credit, bad credit no matter what they would get you in a nicer newer car. So thinking that because I have no credit and that a new car dealership wouldn't work with me. I went. They did just what they said they would. Got me into a newer car with 11,000 miles on it for the price I would of paid if it where brand new. At an externally high interest rate. Kinda expected it to a be a little high.So after driving my Veloster for a couple of months. I found that it slightly underperformed for what I was using it for. Hauling 3 mountain bikes myself and 2 other passengers around the Midwest. I decided to go to Stew Hansen. Just to see what I would need to do to get a Veloster Turbo. I really did not expect anything to happen that day. Primarily because I did not have any credit. I could not have been more wrong. Gus, Jason and Phillip seen to that. Between the 3 of them they somehow managed to not only get me into a 2015 Veloster R-Spec. But also lowered my interest rate quite substantially. These guys are the BEST. While Jason and Phillip worked on my loan. Gus kept me company the entire time. Even though I was not a definite sale due to lack of credit history. They all really made me feel welcome and that they wanted to help. I would strongly recommend Stew Hanson to any first time car buyer or anyone at that. I personally will never buy another car from anyone else. Thank You Gus Jason and Phillip for all your hard work. Oh and I really appreciate you bringing my new car from Omaha just so I could get the color I wanted.

I started to work with Tony Romeo in March, he brought up the Nouveau Blue Sonata, I looked at it but didn't drive it then. I saw the Zero Percent deal and went back and did buy that car. No pressure and easy to communicate with. I would give him 5 stars. I believe Oscar was our finance man. He was friendly and funny. I would give him 4 stars only because I had to step in and say no to a few items that were slipped in to the cost in the finance office. I don't care where you buy, you need to read what your signing and be aware that offers you don't want or need can be added to your deal if you don't pay attention. To be honest I had never worked with a woman before in purchasing a car and I found her to be the best Salesperson I have ever worked with over my many years of purchasing cars. I had the best customer service I have ever experienced at Huyndai on Hickman. Every employee there was helpful and knowledgeable. I was a little panicked from hitting a deer the morning before purchasing my 2015 Elantra. My sales rep, JP, was sympathetic to my needs and didn't pressure me into anything I didn't want. When I asked questions he gave up front answers and didn't sugar coat anything. This is the type of service everyone wants. He spent an adequate time with me to test drive cars and if I wasn't pleased he sought other options for me. Everyone there is so friendly. Matt Young may be young but he cares, is sincere and was involved through the entire process. I recently bought a car from this used lot and Izzo was my salesman. Usually at car lots they are pushy, make you feel pressured and rush you along. That was not the case here at all! I walked in, didnt know how much I could spend, but knew it wasnt a lot at all. I told him how much I thought I could afford per month and that my credit was probably fair, but not great. I found a beautiful car that I fell in love with (Honda Fit) and we began the paperwork. Izzo worked with the finance department and really had my back in there. He told them they really needed to help me if they could. They got me in my car, that day, with payments under 200/mo! I cried I was so excited. This is the nicest car I've ever owned in my 62 years of life! He stood by me the entire day while I bought it and when we were all done he didnt shake my hand... he gave me a hug he was so happy that he could help me! Well I purchased a truck from the used lot October 2014 and it came with 3 free tire rotations, oil changes, and car washes. Well the first attempt they changed the oil I think. But told me there car wash was being repaired and couldn't wash it. And they did not rotate my tires. Second attempt I think they changed my oil but still did not rotate my tires and they didn't wash my truck but they did vacuum out the driver side only. Right now I am on my third attempt and judging how the service rep acted when I told him about the issue. I don't think there going to do anything to it but drive it around back and lean on it for about an hour. Pull it back around and call it good. Sorry but stew Hansen anything will not get any of my money. I even removed the Stew Hansen logo from the back of my truck.

Heard such good things about this place. Got approved at Stew Hansen Dodge, went to Stew Hansen Hyundai, not knowing there was more than one. Told salesperson Izzo who I was looking for, and what vehicle, and that I was deciding between two after he asked. He had one kind of the vehicles there. He asked if I wanted to drive it. I loved the vehicle. He then told me that if I was approved at once than I was in the system for all of the Stew Hansen's. He made me fill out another credit application because he said it was a different vehicle than what I got approved for. During this time I was waiting for approval all over again, he could have went over the vehicle options with me. He was more worried about getting the vehicle over to the detailing. When I went to sign my paperwork, I was in Phil's office all of 20 minutes. He barely touched base of what I was signing. It wasn't until I got home that I saw the fee's that would have made a difference in continuing with the paperwork. I realized after checking my email when I got home that my credit was pulled 8 times that day which was proof that he was dishonest about my information being in the system for all Stew Hansen dealerships. Look, I understand they are pressured not to let the sale leave, if the salesperson takes the time, is honest and willing to put the time in for the sale, he's not going to lose the sale in the long run. I just spent a lot of money on a vehicle there, I like the vehicle, I'm scarred by the experience. Not only am I sharing my experience here, but I tell everyone I come across. Maybe the commission should be based on the overall experience including after the sale. I'll bet they would try harder to earn the sale. Stew Hansen can be assured I won't be back.

My sales person Kris Kremin was absolutely amazing! I came in with a 2007 Nissan Altima with 74,000 that I had just purchased from a big dealership about 4 months ago with nothing but the worst service from them, Kris, Sean and Mark all made sure that they did whatever the could to get me into a new car with the best experience possible! Kris was so understanding and patient with all of my questions he is also very knowledgeable on the Hyundai product which is reassuring he didn't sound like a robot just saying what he is suppose to, I did not once feel pressured to purchase a car from any of them. They even let me take the car home so I could make sure my 6'5 husband would fit with head and knee room, came back the next morning and purchased it, I wish I would have been able to get the mac book air that was adversited but they did a awesome job with the financing! I ended up purchasing a 2014 Hyundai Elantra GT HB Auto with 174 miles! The whole experience was amazing, there is no way to explain how I was treated, it was so refreshing to go into a dealership where they actually care about your needs, wants and budget and not there commission check! Awesome employees!!! In about a year my husband wants to purchase a new truck and we will defiantly be going to Stew Hansen again they were above amazing!!!! My girlfriend and I had been shopping for a new car for awhile as we needed something we could both count on that was good on gas. We went to three Ford dealers, a Chevy dealer, and a Kia dealer, and they all said we would be requiring a co-signer to get a loan because this was our first car loan. There was a dealer called Billion Auto who offered cars to first time buyers but they offered the cars with a 30% interest rate, obviously that was out of the question. So we figured we'd try one more thing before asking one of our parents to co-sign so we went to Stew Hanson Hyundai. We met with salesman Gus Danso and he was super nice but not the kind of nice where he just sees customers walk in as dollar signs, like it actually seemed like genuine friendliness. Out of all the other dealers we went to like even the handshakes felt fake when they did shake your hand but at Stew Hanson Hyundai it didn't seem like they were afraid to shake your hand. At the end of the day we walked away with a 2013 Hyundai Accent with 41,000 miles on it. A great used car!!! Also without any co-signer our APR was only 7%!! You can't beat that for a first time borrower! I highly recommend these guys. If you talk to Gus, tell him Alex with the blue Mustang sent you!

Our daughter has a 2002 Sonata. The engine block dropped on it ( a recall problem she didn't know about having recently gotten it). They fixed the recall problem but charged her $800 dollars to fix all the collateral damage. One week later the transmission went out. They have dragged her along for 3 weeks now refusing to admit the transmission problem was caused by the engine dropping. The regular mechanic she uses for cars had said the car was in great shape. The car ran fine until the engine dropped. Numerous times they have refused to call her back after promising to do so. She has been forced to stand out and wait for the bus to get to work, this during the worst Iowa winter in a long time. They have been completely and totally unresponsive. Worst customer service I have ever seen. I was planning on buying a new Hyundai from them this summer, but have now decided to go with a Subaru. Will never deal with Stew Hanson again.

Stew Hansen Hyundai came up on several internet searches with lower rates than the competition, so we decided to check it out. The experience was very comfortable and surprisingly enjoyable. We also had the pleasure of working with Tommy (the sales manager) who was very energetic and expressed thoroughly that he would do what he could for us. He very much lived up to his promise. Overall, this was the best experience I have had buying a used car. Tommy and Austin worked wonders for me. They were able to get me out of my Mazda, that I still owed money on, and were able to get me into a 2013 Hyundai Sonata without any hassle. They were by far that most up front and honest dealers I have ever done business with. It was very apparent the dedication they possessed to get me into a car that I liked and to get me set up with monthly payments that worked for me. It was easy to tell they cared about my needs as they addressed any questions or concerns I had throughout the process. Tommy had previously worked with my girlfriend to get her into a new car and help her out of the car she currently had. Her experience was much like mine. That being said I would highly recommend this dealership when looking for a new car. I will be pointing all of my friends and family in their direction. Couldn't be happier with my experience.

Sales person went to manager to get a price I was comfortable with, but had to go 72 months out which was not disclosed until financing. When doing paperwork, finanance manager pusshed additional services and fee's that were supposed to be refundable at any time. Signed me up for credit report protection under the umbrella of gap insurance. Tried to cancell this and was told I could not. I will not be back to this dealership. Adding fee's and services under another and I felt decieved.

My husband and I came to Stew Hansen after reviewing their used car inventory online. We were tired and frustrated as our search at other big name dealerships turned up as dead ends, with lots of pressure tactics and no satisfaction. I felt scammed and was about to give up hope. As a final stop we contact Winsome "Winnie" and she told us to come on in and that she would have the vehicle we were interested in seeing ready, and she did. She was kind, knowledgeable, friendly and interested in finding the right fit for us. The right car was not what we thought it would be after two test drives, my husband was in love with a 2007 Honda Accord. We were bummed initially thinking it was way out of our price range, but Winsom had us come in and reassured us that they would see if they could meet our monthly payment. We were then introduced to Tommy Huynh and he listened to our requirements and understood our families needs. He did not put any pressure on us and worked to get us the payment we desired. We were able to get a fair deal with no haggling. I felt like they we working for me, and my husbands needs. Tommy bent over backwards to get us what we wanted which was the 2007 Honda. Our visited ended with Bryan Schmelzer, who was not only funny but knowledgeable, and he took his time going over all the forms at signing and the terms of our financing. This team hit it out of the park, for my husband and I. They Thanked US for our business and sent us on our way with, a perfect fit and a superb deal. Other big name dealers in Des Moines beware once others find out about this hidden jewel and their exceptional level of customer service, you are in trouble. I know where I am going for my next vehicle and will not waste the gas with any other dealership. They have a lifetime buyer with me. My husband and I visited five dealerships in Des Moines in one night to look at the cars that we found online through our research. Stew Hansen Hyundai was our last and best stop. We went there to look at a Fusion and while we were test driving it, I asked our Sales Consultant if they had a Mazda 6. She said they did, so we took a quick look at that car next. We immediately loved it and knew that that it was the top car on our list for that evening. They were closing soon, so we felt horrible staying later, but they told us they didn't mind at all and were extremely friendly the entire time. We worked with Winsome and Tommy to negotiate a price for the car and they were very willing to work with us to get to a number we can agree on. We didn't end up buying the car that evening since it was a rushed decision and because we only took a quick look at the car and barely drove it. My husband also wanted to take a look underneath the car before we bought it, so Tommy said they can hoist it up at the shop for us to take a look at. They ended up putting it on hold for us since we promised them we'd be coming back the next day.Tommy called me the next day just to let us know that the shop was closing earlier since it was a Friday and wanted to make sure we could get back up there in time since we live an hour away so my husband could still take a look under the car. We both left work earlier to make sure we had plenty of time to get up there and spend some time with the car. We saw online that there was a white car exactly like the red one we picked out, so we asked if we could see that one too since we weren't 100% sure on what color we wanted. They brought both cars up side by side so we can compare and they also let us look at the underbody of both. They then gave us time just to sit in the car and play around a little to see if the car would work for us. Because of their approach of letting us have time with the car to ourselves, we became more confident with our decision and was ready to talk price. We did most of the grunt work of the negotiation the night before, but we came back with a print out of the Internet pricing that if they didn't honor it, we were ready to walk away. This car was on the top of our list, but we saw a lot of nice cars in the last few days that would have been great as well. Tommy came back and said that they will absolutely honor it, so we were very pleased. We also mentioned that we could go to a local credit union in our town and get a lower interest rate then he was offering. He came back and said that they will match the rate no problem. To us, this deal just kept getting better and better and we were extremely pleased with the customer service we received. Once we decided to purchase the car, all the paperwork was quick and painless. We worked with Bryan Schmeizer to complete our financing. He had most of the paperwork already written up for us, so we mostly just had to do a bunch of signing. He answered all our questions, explained everything clearly since this was our first car loan and graciously handled our goofy humor and excitement.Winsome Tyler was such a great sales consultant to work with. She was extremely calm, relatable, and answered all our questions. She made the environment relaxing and you could tell she enjoys her job. She also followed up with me the next day to make sure we were still loving our car and to check if we needed anything else.Tommy Huynh was very honest and upfront about their pricing system with no hidden fees. He laid everything out plain and clear for us to understand. He listened and met every one of our needs.Everyone we worked with went above and beyond to make sure our first car buying experience was enjoyable as possible. Everyone has been asking us where we got our car and we are proudly saying Stew Hansen Hyundai. We are also strongly recommending it to all our friends and family. When we walked out of the doors of this dealership, we were filled with joy, had smiles on our faces, and keys in our hand. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Manny listened to my needs and concerns and I quickly found myself test-driving my future 2011 Hyundai Sonata. Manny fully explained all the features and why I should consider buying the Sonata. Manny answered all my questions and allowed me to fully inspect the vehicle. When I was introduced to Tommy, the sales manager, he informed me that he just wanted to earn my business. I soon found out that Tommys bottom line is to listen to customers to earn their business by going up and beyond. The deal was quick and felt very comfortable. We had been looking on and off for a new/different vehicle so we had been to many many different dealerships in iowa and just really didnt have a good experience at any of them until we came upon stew hansen's hyundai . i had orignally emailed kris regarding new hyundai elantra's and he was always very prompt on getting back to me with any questions i had and i had told him that we wanted to come down and look at one but wouldnt be able to set up a time and it would most likely be last minute/spur of the moment because we just never knew when we would have time. So thats exactly what it was i had got in a accident which ended up totalling my car so we were pretty much forced to go look . So i called kris on our way down and unfortunately he wasnt there but he told me he would contact matt and he would be able to help me. As soon as we got there we were greeted with a friendly smile. matt went over different cars with us and took his time makeing sure we got what we wanted. They didnt have my color of car i wanted there so they ended up having to get a car from a different state So we had to wait until that following week and we were able to go get the car shortly there after. Bryan helped us with our financing and made that fast and as painless as possible !!! The only down fall i had was they had forgotten to put my remote start on my car but that was made all right because matt came up and got my car from me in ames gave me a loaner car to drive and brought my car back the next day with a full tank of gas, washed and ready to go !! THE BEST EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD !!!!! WILL DEF RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO THERE AND WILL DEF BE GOING BACK !!!

Hello. I am a student from Drake University and am studying to become a pharmacist. As of last year, I had to move to Iowa for my schooling. As a result, I have been servicing my car at this Hyundai dealer for the past year. I have has MULTIPLE bad experiences with this dealership and find the service department in my hometown Hyundai to be better. The service department in the Clive location is not attentive to detail and representatives are not friendly to work with. They do not explain their services thoroughly. On top of this, they have inconvenienced me on multiple occasions. One service, I asked them to switch my summer tires to my winter tires. They failed to call me when the service was completed and told me they attempted to call me and the number did not go through. I reviewed the number on the sheet that I provided them and it was 100% correct. I had to call them in order to find out if my car was done and it had been sitting for more than an hour. On the phone, I asked them to please have my other tires waiting for me when I got there so I could take them home. I also told them that I would be there in 10 minutes. When I arrived, all the service people had gone home for the day and did not leave my tires out for me. I had arrived in less than 10 minutes too, which puzzled me because I had JUST talked to a service representative. I had to ask people to help me and they wandered around the dealer clueless as to where my tires were. I decided to talk to the manager of the dealership who was too busy to help me. Eventually, some guy had found them and did not help me put them in the car. Then, I had problems with my backup camera and asked them to diagnose it. They diagnosed it and told me it was a problem with my car's electronic system, which would cost $3,600 to fix. I agreed to order the part and asked them to call me when the part had arrived. They did not call me because they decided it would be a better idea to send me a post card in the mail... To the wrong address. What is even better is it turned out that they "misdiagnosed the problem" so I didn't need that part and waited all that time for nothing. So I had to reschedule ANOTHER appointment and order ANOTHER part because they made a mistake. Finally, I had another thing that needed to be fixed on my car and had them order a part. This time, the part I ordered was not even in the box because someone accidentally put a different part in there. So yet again, I have to schedule another appointment to get this done right. If you plan on having your car serviced here, do not plan on have them ever doing it right the first time. You might have to take more time off of work and clear your schedule for a second appointment, where you can wait there bored out of your mind and twirling your hair. You can let them treat you like you are not a valuable customer and see how much they really don't care about making your car safe to drive. I do not recommend this dealership to anyone and think there are a lot of other dealerships nearby that would be better to buy cars from and have them serviced at. I have never received more poor customer service in my entire life.

I have purchased many cars (new and used) in my 30+ years of driving and Stew Hansen Hyundai was by far the most pleasant experience I've ever had. Andrew Parks (my salesman) treated with great respect; he cared about my business and what I wanted and was a no nonsense salesman, he was great. I also had the good fortune to meet the owners of this new dealership (used to be Holmes Hyundai now it is a totally different dealership and for those of us who have ever dealt with Holmes know that this is a really good thing). Tommy and Danny Huynh own it now and Tommy really went out of his way to make sure I got the deal I was looking for. His Brother and General Manager, Danny Huynh ensured that I had all on the deal I was looking for and he even extended me an extra perk on the vehicle at no cost to me! Michael Martin who is the Director of Finance wrote up the deal and took his time to show me all of my options and explained all the number to me. There were no hidden fees or high pressure sales pitches on extras. When it came to the numbers everyone I dealt with was very up front and above board on what the costs were. Overall it was a 5 star experience. I plan on purchasing my next new vehicle from them again in about two years. I highly recommend them!

I recently traded in my hyundai elantra for a used chevy cruze at the stew hansen hyundai dealership. My experience at this dealership has always been great, i would regularly bring in my elantra for routine maintenance and they have always been prompt and nice when i had brought the car in. I had been receiving emails from the dealership about wanting to purchase my elantra. I hadn't given it much thought and decided maybe it wouldn't hurt to go and talk numbers. I met with Randy Crabb one of the sales consultants and he did a great job of showing me some different options and working with me on what i wanted and where i wanted to be at price wise. The car i wanted to look at was not on the lot so he showed me some other options to see if anything interested me. I came in looking for a used chevy sonic they had on the lot which was out as a loaner so Randy showed me the cruze which I really liked. He did a great job of making me feel comfortable about my purchase and the reasoning behind why i wanted to trade in. I had only bought my elantra the previous year so still had the majority of the loan left to pay off. Tommy did a great job of helping me get the right price for the cruze while also offering me a great deal on my elantra and working it out so that the remainder of my loan was paid off. Bryan was also helpful after he had me sign all the paper work he hooked up my phone to the blue tooth capabilities in my new cruze. My experience, even though lengthy was enjoyable i never felt pressured and I always felt they had my best interest at heart while going through this process. I highly recommend Stew Hansen Hyundai and Randy Crabb for the wonderful job they did and how much they helped me through this process!

Since this is about the dealership and not the vehicle, i'll just say that i'm very happy with my purchase. This was one of the most pleasant new car purchases i've ever had. My salesman, Andrew Parks, was the complete opposite of the stereotypical car salesman. This was the first of several different brands of vehicles I was to test drive over the next couple of weeks and there was no pressure to close the sale at any time. I ended up driving a couple of different versions of the Santa Fe, and Andrew was very helpful in answering all my questions. Actually, everyone I had contact with at Stew Hansens was very friendly. You can expect that at most dealerships, but it felt very genuine here. After deciding on the precise model and options, the negotiations was straightforward and without drama. No salesman running back and forth to the manager with offers and counters. Very nice! Andrew and the rest of the staff really made this a pleasant transaction. I received an ad in the mail for a trade in event and just thought I would stop in and see what they had to offer, but ended up trading in my vehicle for a brand new vehicle. I worked with several people, but everyone was very nice and always right there to open the door for you and make sure you had all of your questions answered and never had to wait too long for anyone. Kris picked out the perfect car for me and went through the vehicle top to bottom to make sure I was totally aware of what I was buying and to make sure it had all of the features I was looking for. He was super knowledgeable and approachable, which isn't common for most salesmen when it comes to a young woman coming into a dealership. When my wife and I went shopping for a new car, I did the usual research and wanted her to look at Hyundai. We went to Stew Hansen's to look and drive. Kris Kremin was the associate we dealt with, and let me tell you he was more like a friend during the process than a salesman. No pressure, no hassle. He inquired about what we were looking for and we went driving. We were so impressed with not only the car, but Kris as well. He laid out all our options........and we bought the car! Painless! Jump ahead a couple of months when we took car in for service and we see Kris and shoot the bull to pass the time and decide to look at another car to see the differences.......Kris took the time to answer all our questions and help us(all the while I am sure he thought we were just browsing and wouldn't possibly buy another car.......but he helped us anyway. We ended up buying that car too. Kris has a no pressure, sincere , down-home quality that just puts you at total ease in the car buying process. If he doesn't know the answer, he will find out for you. Stopped in for service today on both cars and Kris comes over and sits down to chat and see how we like our cars as well as ask if we have any question concerns once again. Truly a pleasure to deal with.

Each of the above named employees of Stew Hansen Hyundai were extremely helpful and professional in their interactions with me. The vehicle I bought was a used Azera with 196 miles on the odometer. The car only had one key and fob and no owners manuals. It also had no licence plate bracket on the front of the car and they installed a bracket, replaced the missing fob and ordered a owners manual for me. They all made me feel very comfortable and seemed to do everything they could to ensure my satisfaction. I might add that this is not an easy task. I ask if there was a way to show my satisfaction and they suggested this website.

I went in looking for a car and left feeling like I had a new friend. Randy Crabb was great to work with and gave me the time I needed to decide on my purchase. He was knowledgeable and took the time to understand my needs and get me the vehicle that met those needs without buying more than I needed. I appreciate the low pressure sales atmosphere and think I got good value on my purchase...not to mention I love my Sonata! My only problem is that last Friday my daughter borrowed it and afterwards declared that she will be "borrowing" it more often in the future :). The next time I look for a vehicle I will start with Stew Hansen Hyundai, and might not even look at other brands.

Randy was amazing. I had been in the market a very long time and the main reason that I chose a Hyundai over other makes, was due to Randy and the staff at Stew Hansen's. Randy was very informative about all of the Hyundai models and even other makes and models. He was not pushy as others out there can be. We actually bought 3 cars this year from Stew Hansen Hyundai, and all through Bryan Schmelzer. We experienced a few issues with the first used car (and older higher mileage car) that I bought for the teen driver. Both Bryan and the General Manager, Dan Boettcher, went above and beyond to address our issues, listen to our concerns, and seek to bring a resolution to the situation. Every single time the buying process was more simple than you'd expect it to be, and the sales and management team was responsive to what we needed to know. I ask a lot of questions, and they were willing to get them all answered, and ready for more. They were obviously there to assure customer satisfaction and earn our loyalty as a repeat buyer. Bryan talked to the teenager who the car for to see what he wanted to know about the vehicle(s) we looked at, what his interests were, and then carefully explained the features of the car. He also kept our budget in mind when looking at cars. He knew about all of the cars on the lot, each time we looked, and was able to secure answers to any questions during the process. And more than once, we came late in the day, and Bryan had to stay late to help us - he never said a word until we asked what time they closed (an hour before they had "closed"!). Now I don't recommend going later in the day, but that's another demonstration of "above and beyond". While I am hoping we won't need to buy another car for a few years, there's no doubt that when we do, we'll begin the process at Stew Hansen Hyundai with Bryan. We refer friends and family to Bryan, as the ol' "used car salesman" bad rap is no more. This was a whole different buying experience (3 times), with a positive end result! We were pleased with the overall experience at Stew Hansen Hyundai, are a big fan of Bryan Schmelzer, and appreciative of the extraordinary customer service demonstrated by Dan Boettcher's leadership.

I took my 2007 Sonata in for service and had been looking at purchasing a new Hyundai for a few months. I have always had good customer service at this Hyundai dealership, even under the previous owner. Long story short, I left with a new Sonata. This was my second experience with this Hyundai dealership. My first experience was two years ago and was an excellent eperience, thus the reason for my return. I have to admit i was a little skeptical to return at first because the dealer i worked with before was no longer working for that company and in addition they were just bought out by stew hansens. This last factor alone was a concern for me, as years ago i had experienced poor customer serivice with stew hansens dodge city. However, after i initially spoke with Randy on the phone and explained to him what i was looking for i felt reassured that this was going to be another pleasant experience. After he did some searching for vehicles that fit my wants/needs and requirements he called me to inform me of what he had available and we set up a time for me to come in and test drive a few vehicles. Immediately when i met Randy i felt very comfortable, he was very welcoming and made sure to tell me what vehicles he thought would fit my needs and which ones wouldnt. Being a full time student, and single mother this was very helpful and appriciated, as i dont want to get stuck in a vehicle that will not be financially feasable. After test driving a few cars i found one that i really liked and that i was initially looking for to start with. Randy agreed that this was the car for me. Howver, after experiencing some complications with my financial situation, I was unsure if i would be able to make a purchase after all. Despite this news, Randy went above and beyond his job duties to help me with this situation and did some additional research and provided me with some great suggestions. A couple days later i contacted Randy again, as i came up with a solution and was ready to come and take another look at the car and offered him a price over the phone. He was very accepting to my offer and more than willing to work with me. When i came back I brought my parents with me. Randy was very kind to them and treated us all as though we were an equal part of the purchasing process and he was very supportive. Overall, I had a very enjoyable experience. Randy not only demonstrated professionalism, but he also demonstrated kindness, respect and even a great sense of humor. Randy, made sure that everything i wanted was taken care of through the whole purchasing experience. I am very pleased with the Hyundai label and I predict i will be a returning customer for years to come. Thank you Randy for such an excellent experience, as this process in general can be very stressful at times, I am so happy my eperience was stress free and i am now happily riding around in my new Hyundai Sonata. I would recommend this dealership to my friends and family and to anyone else looking for a reliable/dependable vehicle and great customer service.

Randy was great to work with. We came in looking for a new Elantra but didn't want anything to expensive or with features we didn't really need or want. He listened to what we wanted and explained the options with each style. He worked with us to get the options we wanted. Once we was ready to pick up the car he went thru the manuals and told us which ones were the most important and to familiarize ourselves with the car. HORRIBLE dealership. Do not give out your personal information to them. They will stalk you. They list all these discounts and have prices on their tags/websites, but the second you talk numbers you don't "qualify" for any discounts. When I told the sales rep I didn't like the offer he handed my paper to me and asked me to leave. I walked out of there and will never go back and then the sales rep texted me and called me the following next 2 days to "earn my business." We posted a car on craigslist and they contacted us to buy the car and when we didn't accept the offer they got really hostile. I will never recommend this dealership. Horrible customer service.

I was looking at the 2012 Santa Fe in the showroom, while my 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe was being serviced. Randy asked if I wanted to test drive one of the new Santa Fe's. After driving it, I didn't feel the new style had the same quality as my 2008 and said so. Randy took the time to listen to what I was saying and offered another car that I might be interested in. He showed me the Hyundai Veracruz and we took it also for a test drive. Randy took the time to ensure that I really got a feel for the vehicle, I was prepared on the 2nd test drive to go around the block, but he had me drive on the interstate to ensure the power was the same as my old car. It handled like my favored Santa Fe, but has many more bells and whistles. I started out very non-committal on color or features and he actually took the time to walk back into the building 3-different times to get key's to show me the inside of every car that I thought I might be interested in. We talked payments and he walked though everything with the upfront pricing. I drove out 3-hours later in a 2012 Hyundai Veracruz: Color: Athens Blue with Black interior and a very good deal! I want to compliment Stew Hansen Hyundai for bringing back the days when people could trust what the sales people say and allowing their sales people to go back to basic's of ensuring the customer is heard and not sold something they really don't want. I especially want to thank, Randy for giving hometown customer service in a big city setting! Sincerely,One very satisfied customer

The customer service was excellent. We worked with the sames sales person each time. He was willing to meet with us several times at times that worked for us. Very knowledgeable. We felt we got a decent price for the car, but not quite as low as we would have liked. Watch your paper work to make sure that "extras" haven't been added that you didn't ask for. We caught one of these, but it was promptly removed and the price adjusted.

Despite being promised 2 years ago by the sales person that any local coupon would be honored for oil changes as long as we owned our Santa ,I was informed upon arriving and presenting my coupon that they do not honor those any longer. My fiance and I had done quite a bit of research on vehicles, so we knew exactly what we were looking for prior to arriving. Randy made our experience very simple. We told him what we wanted and he delivered exactly that (down to the color and features). He educated us about all the features of the vehicles, including the small ones. He even explained some under the hood qualities that my fiance, who is a mechanic, would appreciate. Randy was far from pushy. He let us take our time and when we were ready; he was very attentive and made us his priority. He explained very important keys in the owner's manuals, so we wouldn't miss them since the vehicle has many features and perks available. Getting finance was a breeze and we got a great deal! I made an appointment a couple days later to get the car detailed. Randy and the detail expert were out front and ready to make my new ride shine (I was extremely impressed). I have owned a Hyundai Elentra before and loved it. I purchased a Sonata and love it even more!!! Thanks Randy and the Stew Hansen crew!

Randy was excellent to work with and made our experience a calm and pleasant one. My wife was ready to walk into a dealer on the defensive to wheel and deal. Randy right from the start took that away by being able to make the buying experience a pleasant one. He first showed my wife a basic model explaining everything on the vehicle....everything. He even went into what the differences were on the warranties. He then showed my wife the next step up on the model and explained what the differences were to her. We had a no stress excellent experience with Randy and that made all the difference. Randy did an excellent job in his position and all sales people should be modeled after his approach. 1st learning...find out what is wanted and expand it by teaching the vehicle to them. 2nd...explain everything to some it may seem mundane a waste of time but in the end it was worth and my wife was ready to buy. It not only started with Randy in lot but also at his desk. While he was getting paperwork ready, entering data on the computer he not once let us sit there in awkward silence. He kept us engaged and informed on what he was doing and why. Overall a very excellent experience from start to finish. We are extremely happy and love the vehicle because took the time to explain and coach to get my wife the perfect vehicle.

I stopped by without my husband the first time I visited. Randy was helpful and comfortable to be around and didn't make me feel pressured to buy. When I returned with my husband to have him drive the Santa Fe Randy was great. He understood it would be my car and treated the visit as such. I was surprised how fast he was at finding the exact vehicle with all the features I wanted even though he had to search in another state to get it for me. I was given a time frame to expect delivery and they had it to me in half that time which was a pleasant surprise. When we finalized the paperwork Randy was great. I appreciated that he spoke to me about the vehicle and didn't direct the conversation to my husband. It is my Santa Fe and he treated me with respect by deferring to me with the information he was imparting regarding my new Santa Fe.

We've owned a Tiberon and a Sonota and love the Hyundai experience with each new car we've purchased. This month we went to Stew Hansen Hyundai to trade for a new Elantra, and we were again extremely satisfied with the overall experience as well as the product. So, let's be honest. As a young single woman, I was not at all looking forward to the whole car buying experience. From January to May, I've been looking for a new car since my previous car's warranty expired. I've driven a good number of vehicles in my quest for the right one. The whole experience was stressful and nerve wracking. Until Stew Hansen. Andrew was great to work with. He was easy to relate to and I actually had a good time. I regret keeping them there so late, but it was worth the return trip. The price was right on the money!

He convinced me to test drive a car other than my "desired" and I found that it did fit my needs and wants. The sales people were extremely helpful throughout the entire process. Friendly and willing to help. The management, on the other hand, is completely unwilling to come to a fair price that benefits both the dealer and the customer, even after I went above my price ceiling. Every time I made an offer they manager would add on a new fee or tax or fine, etc that kept making the price of the car go up until they reached the original asking price, which apparently still lost them money...

I went into Stew Hansen Hyundai because I needed a car with better MPG for work. I heard they had a New Sales Manager at Used Cars (Chris) and from past dealings with him I knew he would be great to work with. He asked Jeremy Earles to work with me, so we went on a test drive. I was looking at a 2011 Sonata and really liked it, but ended up going with a 2012 Sonata, too good of a deal to pass up. They gave me top dollar for my trade so how could I say no. Mr. Fenton was great to deal with. Mr. Carlstedt and Mr. Plude are friendly faces from my past. Chris will be great asset to Stew's used car Hyundai location. Jeremy really knows his stuff! I walked in to Stew Hanson with a good idea of what I wanted to buy. Randy was there to greet me, graciously pointing out on each model what would and wouldn't work for me. Randy was very thorough, explaining everything to me, and not trying to sell me anything I didn't need or want, which is very important to me. Randy took me around the dealership to meet the people I will be working with in the future, which was wonderful. Come to find out that it needed a brake job, (not so cheap) and after just replacing belts and all the fluids a few months ago, it was time to let it go. It was a 97 Elantra bought at this dealership almost 14 years ago, and it's been the most reliable worry free car I've ever owned. While killing time waiting for the car, I walked over to the pre owned lot, and talked to Jeremy, I told him it was time to start looking for a new one. He showed me a 2010 Elantra, ironically the exact same make/model and COLOR of my soon to be old one. I figured karma must be trying to tell me something so a test drive later I knew I was keeping the keys. I never told him a price, or really what I was looking for, it was like he just knew what was going to work for me. No pressure at any time, he just hung back and let me process. The new one was exactly what I wanted to spend, very very low miles, I got an incredible trade in price the whole process was so painless. This is now my 3rd Hyundai, and I look forward to many more years of driving a great car. With the warranty the new ones carry, you really can't go wrong. Go see Jeremy he'll take good care of you. Randy Crabb was a breath of fresh air compared to other salesmen you meet. He took the time to listen to what was important to us and worked for us instead of against us like we have felt other saleman have done in the past. I came in to purchase a used car. On my first visit I worked with Randy and he seemed friendly enough. When I came in for the 2nd time, pretty much planning to buy the car, I brought my Dad, since I had never bought a car by myself before. Right from the start, Randy seemed very defensive that my Dad was there and asked a lot of questions. My Dad questioned the fact that the car was supposedly "Certified" but there was no record of that on their website. Also, I was interested in the Extended Warranty plan that Hyundai offers, but prior to visiting the dealership, we couldn't find any information pertaining to the warranty and the people we talked to from Hyundai basically said we would need to visit the dealership to obtain information. When my Dad and I first drove the car, we noticed a loud noise, and it turned out that one of the tires was shot. Supposedly this was a "Certified" car, but they missed this loud noise and the fact that the tires needed replacing. I'll also mention that the car had not been detailed and was somewhat dirty on the inside, but they were supposedly trying to sell it. We came back to drive the car after they had replaced tires and the problem was fixed, so we went to negotiate. After some long negotiations with Chris, we had the price down to almost what I was ok with paying. I was about 5 minutes from closing the deal with him, when Randy came into the office and started making rude and uncalled for comments towards my Dad. He was way out of line and even called my Dad "Confrontational". I couldn't believe it, and promplty told them that I was done with them and we walked out. If Randy wouldn't have come in and been so rude, I probably would own the car today. Do not go to this dealership looking for good service. They "pride" themselves in being #1 in customer retention and having friendly salesman, but they could not be further from that. If you do not give into their tactics and go along with what they say, you will be treated with no respect. I have great credit, was going to put down a large portion of the car price, and had been at the dealership for 5+ hours, but still was not given the respect I deserved. My advice is buy a car from ANYONE ELSE but Stew Hansen's Hyundai.

My wife and I showed up to buy a used Hyundai around 15k and Randy showed us all the used options but also a new Sonota that had its price cut greatly. We fell in love the second we got in the car and Randy was the perfect salesman to let us ease into the car. Not pushy, very friendly, kind of a joker - but not the salesman canned jokes you expect - and after taking it for a test spin we knew there was no question we were going to buy the car. The purchase process could not have been any easier, we go the terms we were looking for at the start of the day and didn't have our arms twisted to buy any add-ons. Having test driven a few cars at other dealerships earlier in the day I would say Holmes was the best in town. I would recommend everyone go check out a Hyundai great value on great cars. I had a great experience with Chris, he was very knowledgeable about the car I was looking for. He was friendly and above all else, he wanted me to be 100% satisfied with what I was purchasing before I bought it. There was absolutely NO pressure to buy. I chose a day for delivery that Chris was unavailable, so Randy helped with the delivery. Randy was also very friendly and took time to answer any questions we had, had me drive the car one more time before I bought it so I was sure this was exactly what I wanted.

I had an excellent experience with Chris. He got me the car I wanted, was very knowledgeable and experienced, and was friendly and helpful. When I had a small issue with my car, he got me in quickly to get it fixed and offered to give me a ride to work. I recently took my car in again to get the oil changed and fix a recall, and again he went above and beyond what his job is.
