Summer of 2013 I purchased a new 2013 Subaru Impreza. Complete professionalism throughout, and they gave me more than fair trade-in value for my older vehicle. Highly recommend this dealer.

I purchased my Subaru here hoping they would provide a better service experience than the dealership closer to me. I was wrong. There have been nothing but problems. I needed a window replaced (covered repair), was told in Dec 2014 that it was going to be covered, took until June of 2015 to get the repair, only with my insistence. After just getting the oil changed at a different dealership I realized they are not providing the same level of service at Al Serra Subaru. The last oil change at Al Serra, I attempted to call and make an appointment. I got an answering machine, I left a message and was not called back. I then went online to schedule my appointment. I received emails that my appointment was scheduled, but when I got there they did not have me as an appointment. I drove and hour for this service rather than using the dealer 15 miles from my house. They "fit" me in and it took over an hour for an oil change and tire balance/rotation (which I do not think was done because there was a noise in a front tire - I did not mention this to see if they actually looked at the tires - and the noise was still there when I left - a month later I found a worn down screw in my front tire where the noise had been coming from). At the other dealership they showed me a tire wear report that was included with my free inspection - never received one of these at Al Serra at the 3 oil changes. I knew that the other dealership actually looked at my tires because they reported that the tires were wearing unevenly and they did not know that I had replaced the tire with the screw, so I had 3 tires worn more than the new tire and that is what they found! Not going back to Al Serra!

It took me a year to decide which vehicle was going to fit my specific needs. Once I decided on an Outback I took on visiting various dealerships, test driving vehicles and asking questions to all the dealerships I visited. Some dealerships I even visited 2x's. I compared service department knowledge, service fees, etc (apples to apples, or should I say, oil change to oil change, schedule B to schedule B, C to C, etc). No matter my experience, I kept coming back to how Subaru of Grand Blank made me feel after each and every visit, question, etc. My sales person was Kyle F. Yes, I would rec him, he is honest, no pressure, and thorough. You have to understand, Grand Blank is not exactly close, so they must be pretty good in order for me to choose to drive further. They also honored AAA or Costco car pricing. My vehicle even came in earlier than expected and....it was $20 cheaper than the initial write up.
