Our Salesman Nathan Kim was fantastic! He was not pushy and really listened to what was important to us. This was our first Subaru purchase and we had a lot of questions. Never once did we feel like he was getting annoyed or frustrated. Just a very down to Earth person overall. Sean, the sales manager, came by to meet us before we got started and was very easy to work with during the buying stage. Justin, in finance, made sure we understood the terms of the sale and got us a great interest rate! He was a funny guy and really helped with the stresses of buying a new car. We would definitely return and encourage others to go here if you are in the market for a new vehicle. Thanks for the great customer service guys!! ***If you’re an animal lover like me, they were hosting an adoption drive for a local animal shelter the day we came. The buying experience was amazing and smooth. We can to look at the car we were researching. We never felt pressured at all. We left and sat on it for a few days and talked to the sales manager and decided to buy from them. The manager was with us the whole time. It was a breeze to have knowledge and patient people working with you. I also took my car in to get serviced and the check in process is easy and you get a text when your car is ready. It didn't take no time and they cleaned my car as well. I recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a car.

This review is for a routine service. Their App makes it very easy to make an appointment. They used texts to remind me. I was greeted by a friendly associate within minutes of arrival. The customer waiting area is comfortable and spacious. I was kept fully informed of the progress. Frankly, I can’t think of anyway the experience could have been better. I wouldn’t even consider going anywhere else for service.

I had been to other dealerships in the area, and Subaru of Orange Park was leaps and bounds ahead of the others. Andrew followed up on an online request and contacted me consistently but not annoyingly. We set up an appointment for me to test drive the cars. He was able to explain the differences and the optional packages clearly and succinctly. And he knew these cars thoroughly. He made it easy for me to make my decision. The financing process went smoothly; my car came in on the next truck so I was able to complete the process and pick up my car in less than a week. The whole Subaru team was friendly efficient and knowledgeable. Beautiful showroom. No pressure sales. And I have a spunky little Forester and I’m as happy as I can be. I’m from Atlanta and was here on vacation when I needed something taken care of on my Subaru immediately. After calling another dealership and not getting a call back I called Subaru of Orange Park and was greeted by someone named Denise 20min before they closed that day and she was extremely helpful and friendly. Got my appointment immediately scheduled for the next available time. Danielle met me there at the service desk and was equally awesome. The service was quick and the loaner Outback they gave me made me feel like a million bucks. Would recommend to all my Jacksonville friends!

Best experience of car buying I have ever had! Larissa was my sales rep and she was amazing! She answered all of my questions and wasn't pushy at all!! We got the best deal and we were out of their quickly! Definitely recommend this dealer if you are going to buy a Subaru!!

I went to this Subaru dealership because I wanted to get rid of my 2016 Wrx CVT that I have owned for 4 months. Sean Kelley was a very dapper young man with a passion for Subaru like no other. He worked so hard to get me the car that I've been dreaming about, and the finance manager pulled of the most amazing APR I've seen in little to no time. I have less than perfect credit as well. Between Sean, Brent, and the floor manager Robbie, these gentlemen got me into my 2017 Wrx Sti. Will continue my buisness with these guys! Couldn't rate Sean Kelley but he gets ***** 5 stars as well. I think he was more excited about me buying the Sti than I was.There was no problem with the Wrx Cvt, but I prefer standard transmission.

I was promised a drive off price on a new forester and vehicle was in process of being delivered to me. At last moment, the managers reneged on price promised saying they wouldn't sell at promised price. I had given up good offers with other Subaru dealers to buy with this dealer. A week after their decline a sales manager named Heath called me and was blaming salesman for price given to me.. NOT TRUE,! The salesman (Steven) gave me no prices on his own . His boss (sales manager) promised the price promised to me.. It's apparent that Orange Park Subaru can't be trusted and I would never recommend this dealership to anyone.

I walked in the other day and was greeted right away. After taking their time and finding out what I wanted and what was important to me they pulled up the Forester I was wanting. It was beautiful and the rest of the deal went by without a hitch. I was in and out before I knew it. I can say these guys here know what they are doing and really listen! Back in 2010, I purchased my very first Subaru (2011 Subaru Forester) from this dealership when it was owned by Phil Porter who owned this dealership as well as Subaru of Orange Park.When it was owned by Phil Porter, the dealership had a well earned reputation for very good customer service, sales, etc.When the dealership was sold to Jack Hanania, everything went downhill.When I attempted to take my Forester in for scheduled maintenance service, the dealership's service reps was very uninformative and less than helpful in looking up or printing my maintenance service history. They blamed the ownership change and made it sound like what I was requesting was a hassle.When I started to do my research in upgrading/trading my Forester for the brand new 2015 Outback, I stopped by the dealership. No one greeted until a supposed sales rep came out. I asked if there was a print brochure for the new 2015 Outback. He said no and told me to go request one from Subaru's website. That was the extent of the conversation.I ended up taking my 2011 Forester to Subaru of Jacksonville for its scheduled and ongoing maintenance and ended up trading my Forester there for the new 2015 Outback.Subaru of Orange Park kept sending me print letters referring to my Forester offering incentives, etc. I called the dealership to get myself removed. The receptionist who answered the phone sounded completely indifferent and told me I had to speak with the Internet Sales Manager. I called back on three different dates and times to speak with the Internet Sales Manager. Never available and no one else to speak with.I had to post all the preceding on Yelp to supposedly get an apology and a number for the General Manager of Subaru of Orange Park. I called and supposedly the issue has been resolved (to be determined).I'll never do business with this Subaru dealership again in my lifetime. If they end up being the only Subaru dealership in the Jacksonville, FL area, then I'll drive to another county/city to do business with another Subaru dealership. Jack Hanania will never get my $ period.

I love my new Impreza. Dominique did not rush me as I test drove about 5 vehicles trying to decide new or used and SUV, Sedan, or something sporty. I fell in love with the Impreza. Working with Dominique, Stewart, and Robbie from Sales was a breeze. Cliff from Service made sure my car was washed and detailed and ready to go when I was finished with my paperwork. I will definitely be back to Subaru of OP when I need service and will refer my friends and family as well.

I feel conned and wish I had read the reviews before venturing to this dealership. I spent the last few weeks doing all my research on the car I wanted (Mini Cooper S 2012) when I came across the exact one I wanted at this dealership only to be disappointed that it was over my budget. None the less I kept my eye on it and seeing that after a few weeks of being on their lot it had not sold I thought nothing ventured, nothing gained and decided to email an offer. I immediately received an email back stating "Your offer doesn't seem unattainable as long as you like everything about the vehicle." I took this statement to mean that my offer was within reach/not too difficult to achieve and immediately texted them I would be coming to look at the vehicle and jumped in my car to make the two hour drive to their location. Upon arrival the salesman acknowledged my email, was informed that it was a good offer, and asked if I wanted to test drive it. After the test drive I did mention to the salesman that the windshield was cracked and was told that I would have to buy the car as is and make an insurance claim myself. Other than that, the car was everything I wanted so we proceeded to the office where I was completely blindsided when the manager comes back telling me that the original price was as low as he could go and my offer was never even being considered. Clearly integrity is "unattainable" for this dealership.

I can't speak much for the rest of the staff, but I will say that Sean Kelley went above and beyond to make a deal work for me on my 2015 Impreza I had my eye on for about a month. I'm from Charleston SC and he bent over backwards to negotiate with Terry exact numbers of exactly what I would be paying for the car before I showed up in Florida to drive it off the lot. Which turned out to be almost a month process at the end of the day. Compared to other Subaru salesman nearby where i live, he was the only one who kept checking in to make sure everything was going as planned to make it a deal that works for me. When we finally agreed and I traveled down to get it, he personally picked me up from the train station (which is a significant distance from the dealership) so I didn't have to pay for a cab. When I showed up, he had my car detailed and had all his homework done on explaining every single in and out detail of the car which made the final decision very easy for me especially since we had already agreed to my numbers on what I could afford so there wasn't any wasted time haggling, which in my experience makes the car purchasing process very unpleasant when it should be exciting! He was very honest and made me feel very comfortable and not pressured at all. Given the rest of the reviews on here and a couple other people I encountered, I'm a little concerned about the other post-processes such as title and registration going smoothly especially since I live so far away, but there's no doubt in my mind that Sean is just a phone call away to help me out even though the sale is already done. Definitely a genuine guy who cares about his customers. Thanks Sean and Subaru of orange park! For getting me into the perfect car for me :)

If I could rate it a 0 stars I would. On Sunday I made an appointment to see a vehicle at 4:00pm on Monday with the sales manager Terrance, I came in at 2:30pm because I finished my obligation early and Terrance informed me that a family was coming in to buy the vehicle that I had made the appointment too see... he said they called and made an appointment that morning...so I said, well I made the appointment and I am here... and he shook my hand and replied, "You have nothing to worry about, you made the appointment first so you will have first shot at the vehicle, that's how we do things here at Subaru of Orange Park." So as he is saying this the family walks in and sits in the cubicle right next to me. Which was extremely awkward and unprofessional. So the guy helping me ( not Terrance) was really nice, and we went for a test drive, got back to the cubicle and worked the numbers out, while we are doing this the other sales person who was helping the family comes over and takes the keys so that the family can test drive it. So we worked the numbers up, and I said ok let me step outside and call my wife and make sure she is ok with this purchase, and if she's cool with it then we will do it. So while I am on the phone the family comes back from the test drive, walks in and sits down at the cubicle, and my sales guy who was helping me comes out and says, "they bought it." (while I am on the phone with my wife)... I said.. excuse me, Terrance told me that I had first option, and if I didn't want the vehicle, then the family would get to decide if they wanted it... he said sorry, they just told me it was sold and to come out and tell you. So I walk in and surprise, surprise Terrace is no where to be found, and didn't answer my phone calls when I tried to call him after I left. I will never do business there again, and my friends and family wont either... I suggest you stay away.. extremely shady and don't care about the customer at all.

There is not a negative word I can say about this place! I worked with Andrea, and she was amazing! She answered all of my questions and was extremely professional. She's very personable and is very good at what she does. She didn't push me at all either into buying, which I have found was the main method for other dealerships. She told me right away that she wouldn't push me in either direction. She let the vehicle do all the talking for her...you definitely can trust Subaru cars for reliability! Robbie, the owner, came over and introduced himself to me and was very nice and answered any questions I had also. These people know how to do business and I recommend it to anyone and everyone! Buy your car here, you WON'T BE SORRY!

Long and the short of this...... Looking for a Subaru Outback, Orange Park Fl sent out a blast email with the 110 % price guarantee. Presented written offer from Jax Subaru to Heath the internet manager and he came back with "can't touch that". Asked about the 110 % and he said nothing!! This is a bait and switch!!! Will never shop there again!! I went straight back to Jax Subaru and purchased a 2016 outback limited.

My Subaru Forester needed its 60,000 mile maintenance service, requiring me to drop off the car for more than 5 hours. I am a caregiver for my husband who was recently in an accident and also pick my grandchildren up each day from school. I have a very limited window of time that I can be without my car and away from home. Daniel Carter at Subaru of Orange Park went above and beyond the call of duty by setting a service appointment that worked with my schedule, arranging for a loaner car for me while my car was being serviced, and staying after hours on the service date to ensure the work was completed as promised. It is rare these days to find people in business who do what they say they are going to do and I am so appreciative of Daniel Carter for doing exactly what he promised. He and his team are a great asset to Subaru of Orange Park. They are friendly, honest and great to work with, and I recommend them highly.

Spent endless hours looking at cars online and getting frustrated with the thought of having to replace my current car. Stopped at a few stores and had no luck? Then my co worker told me to check out Subaru orange park because she bought her car there and had a great experience. Finally I decided to stop in on my way home from work. I was very impressed with the facility and the staff. They actually listened to me and seemed concerned to help. They shared with me the vehicles that are available and I told them I would speak to my husband and let them know. He went back a few weeks later and traded my old car for the new one. We will from now on buy all our cars at Subaru orange park. Now Mama s happy and so is hubby!

We found a car online and made an appointment to drive an hour away to see it based on its availability. The car was gone when we got there and was informed that it had been traded to another dealership. They had another much higher ($10,000) priced version of the one we wanted. We asked them to search the inventory of the local dealership to our house and was told they did not have any and if we wanted one we would have to wait 8 weeks to order one, drive to Bradenton FL or buy the only one they had on sight. We were asked for our trade pay off by the salesman before they took a look at our like new condition vehicle with new tires and zero damage. They offered us exactly $2000 below its fair market dealer trade value. I asked why and was given a million excuses. I asked for proof of this document and after nearly 30 minutes I was handed some type of photoshopped document claiming that our vehicle was in "Rough" shape. Next we asked about special financing and was told that there is no special financing on this car because its an easy seller for them. Up to this point everything that has happened was basically a lie or a cheat to manipulate our purchase making decisions. We end up buying the car that had for $36,000 at a rate of 3.44% at 84 months. The next day I found the exact car we originally wanted at Subaru of Jacksonville in the same color we asked for and they were offering it at 1.9% for 72 months, which is the same interest rate we were already paying with a credit score of 783. I reached out to Jack Hanania, the owner of Subaru and heard nothing. I left multiple messages with the sales manager and heard nothing. So finally I called Subaru Customer Care and they started a file regarding everything. Eventually I was contacted by the General Manger and we exchanged several emails and phone calls outlining the problems, concerns and exactly what I wanted to be fixed. This turned into several weeks now of a run around. At one point after reviewing the information the GM called and offered me free oil changes for a year which has a value of less than $100. Mind you you have been overcharged now in high interest to the amount of nearly $2500. Next he starts telling me that his guys are good and that one of them has been distracted because he has cancer and that it was not intentional. Seriously??? Why is that my business and why is he using that as an excuse for his sales team lying to us? In the end I would say this was the worst car buying experience we have had and I have personally owned 6 new cars in my life. My last communication from the GM was a response to an email I sent warning them to take me seriously or I would report them. The GM's response was that I was a hostel person and that he was now going to revoke any offers he had previously made and he would be turning me over to his legal team. Just to be clear I asked them specifically for three things. 1st I requested that they give us a fair offer for our trade based on its real condition. 2nd I wanted them to give us the proper interest rate. 3rd I wanted them to discount the $2000 extended 100,000 mile warranty that we purchased as compensation for the now 20 days of arguing and time wasted. Our family purchased a vehicle from this dealership Subaru of Orange Park, a 2011 Jeep Wrangler. During our test drive I notice a light on dash which was determined to be a tire pressure light per the associate. We weren't sure of buying the vehicle and told her we would think about it but to make sure the tire pressure light was taken care of. We gave her our number and she advised us that it was going straight to the service department in regards to the tire pressure light. We came back the following day did another test drive with the same associate while driving the tire pressure light turned on. I told her it obviously had not been taken care of, we got back to the dealership and it went back to their service department. We were advised that it was just a pressure issue and there was nothing else the matter with the tires. We decided at that point we would purchase the vehicle so we started on the paperwork and reinstated to the associate at that point to make sure that the light for the tire pressure was taken care of. Our associate advised that is was back being cleaned and would make sure with the service department again that there isn't an issue with the tires and it truly was just pressure that "we had her word" is what we were told. We swapped keys the Jeep was pulled up to the front clean as a whistle and we were ecstatic about our new purchase! We hopped in our new vehicle or new to us and drove out of the parking lot we were not even at the first stop sign and the tire pressure light came back on. I told my husband about the light I said the $at!#% thing has just turned on again he was overwhelmed with frustration at this point and we decided to take it to Discount Tire , all of our tires have been purchased from them for years and we have had a wonderful business relationship with them. I take it to them before going out of town and we were informed that there was not any sensors in the tires, all tires, including the spare! These tires were fairly new and there is no reason that the sensors shouldn't be there and Subaru of Orange Park should have certainly known what the problem was. They advised that the cost at the dealership to get them done was $60.00 a piece for five tires $300.00 plus tax and whatever stupid fees you get charged with like diagnostic. Yes, it was out mistake for not turning around immediately but we certainly didn't think it was going to be an issue with every tire on the vehicle. In September our associate called from Subaru of Orange Park to wish my husband a happy birthday she was a day late and apologized for that. Then she inquired on the satisfaction of our purchase and the company. My husband advised her that he was not satisfied at all, he explained that there were no sensors in any of the tires which is how tire pressure is read and caused the light to be on at the dash. The cost at the dealership he was told $60.00 a piece which is a $300.00 mistake that we were told by you that there were no issues at all and it was just low pressure in the tires we had " your word " it was taken care of basically it was reset and we were sent on our way. The associate told my husband she was going to pull our paperwork and take it back to the service department to find out what happened and would call him back in 20 minutes.......That was on September 7th,2015 and we are still waiting on that call. My concern is that it was just blatant behavior at a Jack Hanania dealership that we had already had an issue with Volkswagen of Orange Park another Jack Hanania dealership. At that one they quoted brake replacement from our paper work from four years earlier and we got there after the work was done the price had doubled another blatant behavior from another associate. Neither associate did as they promised nor followed through as they should have. I would be weary of either one of these Jack Hanania automotive groups.

No pressure about buying-----gave our family plenty of time to discuss which car we were getting either the 2015 or 2016 Forrester. Glad we went with the 2016 Forrester. Like it so far very much---very impressed with the quality of the vehicle! Had a Forrester a few years ago for 8 years and liked it very much. I was traveling from north Georgia to Ormond Beach when suddenly my 2012 Subau Outback dashboard lights lit up! I pulled to the side of the road and turned engine off. I checked my phone for nearest Subaru dealership and was directed to Subaru Of Orange Park. I called and was connected to Robert Desjadon. He quickly assessed my situation and assured me I could drive to the dealership. I got immediate service upon arrival and offered a bottle of water while I waited! Turned out it was the gas cap, I think he thought that to begin with, but he was very reassuring to me while I was on the side of the road and later at the service department! Great service! I love my Subaru, and I appreciate the service this Subaru Dealership offered with a smile, thank you Robert!

Today was my last free service that came along with my purchase of a 2015 Subaru forester. I have to say I am SO relieved to be done with this dealership and will not bring my business back to it again. I wrote a previous review of my initial experience when purchasing the car and all the nonsense we went through, so I won't go into all that within this review. But this isn't just a one time bad experience with them, instead it has occurred all but two times. Today my oil change took an hour and 50 minutes, appointment was at 1, didn't get finished till 2:50. They said they washed AND vacuumed my car, I was especially looking forward to the vacuum because my car needed it, they rinsed the outside and that was it. The car seats nor the floor were very obviously NOT vacuumed a bit, which makes me question if they did the other services correctly, or at all. I haven't been to Jax Subaru off of Atlantic because I didn't want to make the drive, but I really wish I had reviewed this dealership more and next time I purchase a Subaru I will make sure to do my research on where I purchase it from, if you want to feel like a valued customer, and to have a satisfactory, efficient service experience DO NOT go to Subaru of Orange park, you will be left disappointed.

I came to this dealership for an oil change because it was the closest one to me at the time. Ended up being quite a fateful event. Went from a 2013 Impreza WRX to a 2016 Impreza WRX STi and I couldn't be happier. The staff were extremely friendly and professional (Tyler Hopgood, Michael Cohran, and Andrea Padilla-Lopez), they didn't pressure me, too much, they gave me time to think, and did not fail to surprise me. They gave me exactly what I asked for, every time, and then some! An issue came up during the final step and Michael more than made up for it. I truly couldn't be happier with my purchase and I know exactly where I'll go for my next one... Subaru of Jacksonville... ha, just kidding! My 2006 Subaru Forester unexpectedly started to run rough on a Friday afternoon. I am new to the area and called this dealer as it was one of two within driving distance of my home. The service department said that I could bring the car in that evening or the following day (Saturday). I brought the vehicle in on Friday evening and Ricky Stokes told me they would work it in the following afternoon for a diagnosis and possible repair.Late the next afternoon, they called with a diagnosis that would require the repair to be completed on Monday. This was not unexpected. He had prepared a quote, and when I asked if they had any promotional discounts, Ricky promptly applied one. I authorized the repair.On Monday I went to pick up the car in the afternoon. The service manager met us and got us checked out in just a few minutes. We were so happy to get our car back so quickly and they handled everything professionally and courteously.I will be using them for service from now on.

The service department does not actively support the cars the showroom sells. While the staff is very friendly, they do not take the extra step to notify their customers when there are recalls or service advisories of vehicles that were purchased at their dealership. Since we purchased a new 2015 Subaru Outback in June 2014 and had to return to the dealership - once engine warning light- twice Eye Sight failure- once towed 40 miles when the fuel cap would not open and we could not fuel the car.Every time the service manager stated it was a known problem and knew how to fix it. Well, we were we not notified of these known problems before we experienced them out on the road????

Ordered a 2016 Outback Limited with Katey Comstock. This process was very pleasant from order to delivery. I was up front with Katey on what I wanted for my trade and for the new vehicle and she made it happen. Keep in mind I emailed dealerships from Atlanta, GA through Clearwater, FL and the best deal was right in my backyard. BTW the other guys close to the beach were very rude and ridiculed my trade before even seeing it. Do yourself a favor and shop with Subaru of Orange Park, From Katey Comstock to GM Tim Peeler and everyone else thanks for making this an enjoyable experiance.

Only problem I had was that whoever wrote up the description of the car did not put down the proper trim package. Trim package was listed as a 4 but was actually a 2. Be sure & double check VIN number when purchasing to make sure trim is same as listed on sticker & on cars.com.

Elliot didn't try and pressure us but just told us all of the facts about the car that we wanted to know and was able to get us a great deal. We ended up having to order the car but throughout the 4 months that it took, he contacted me several times with updates on the progress. When the car finally arrived, I was not able to show up until it was his day off from work, but he showed up anyways to make sure the everything was good with the car.

It has been 15 years since I purchased my last car and I was nervous about buying a new one, even though I had spent a lot of time researching before making a decision. Kyle King set my mind at ease and took me on a test drive of the Forester. There was no pressure to buy which was one of the things I was nervous about. After the test drive, I spent 2 more days deciding and then went to see Kyle. He made everything easy and was extremely courteous and helpful. He introduced me to everyone I would come in contact with and explained about service and what to do when I came in for service. I can truly say this was a pleasant car-buying experience!

J. C. Matthews is a great salesman who really knows the features and details about the vehicle. We were looking at the 2015 Outback, along with 3 other vehicles. We were most impressed with J.C.'s knowledge and ability to go over the vehicle from bumper to bumper and explain how everything worked. Although Subaru of Orange Park was our first stop in car shopping, J.C. treated us with respect and appreciation for including Subaru in our shopping plans. After looking at the other comparable vehicles, and at another Subaru dealership, we came back to Subaru of Orange Park. We are glad that we chose them. They had the exact vehicle we wanted. Within a few hours of coming in the second visit, we were driving out of the lot with our new Outback. The transfer of license from one vehicle to the new one was smooth. No detail was left undone. I recommend Subaru of Orange Park and J. C. Matthews to anyone who is in the market for a new vehicle. Even if you are not thinking about buying right now, you will love the features and quality of a Subaru.

Roger Young and the staff helped me when I was stranded in Jacksonville!! I live in Holmes Beach Fl five hours south and needed to go home! From the moment I was towed in to the moment I pulled off their parking lot I was treated with utmost kindness!!! I had been stranded on I-75 and AAA towed me to Subaru of Orange Park. I was first greeted with "Hello. Do you need anything? Are you ok? Want something to drink? Need a ride anywhere?" My relatives picked me up and all through the next few days when my part was ordered, Roger Young kept me informed every step of the way!! Kindness!! I drive an Outback and this is my second one! Since 1996 these cars have been wonderful.Yet, it is Roger Young and his staff that reminded me why I drive a Subaru!!!

I literally spent two days of my life at the Subaru of Orange Park dealership with a two year old. I bought a slightly used Subaru Outback, my dream car! I was able to take it home over night and show my husband and have my mechanic look it at. Day two I was able to negotiate an even better deal on the car. Elliot was our sales man, and he was really fun to work with. Even my two year old just loved him. I realize that I am a minority because most people come to buy a new car, but I lucked out because there was only one used Outback on the lot and it was in my price range. I was even able to add an amazing bumper to bumper warranty and the protection package at an affordable price! When its time to buy a new car again, either for myself or my husband, I can't imagine going anywhere but Orange Park Subaru!

Was looking for a car with driver safety while driving. My Outback has filled the ticket.with EyeSight driver assist technology; pre-collision braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, Also has; low tire pressure warning, hill holder, rear vehicle detection system, blind spot detection, rear cross traffic alert, lane change assist, and more.This car has filled all the requirements I had in buying a new car plus extras I enjoyed getting as bonus items. I am very happy with this car and already have found many other family members and friends that don't live near me that also enjoy their Subaru's. Have been showing off this car and bragging about it. Happy I switched from a brand I have driven for many years. This is my first Subaru and am impressed with it. Sometime soon it will make a round trip cross country drive.

Attentive to detail, prompt, thorough, knowledgeable, considerate, professional...these are just some of JC Matthew's attributes, but also descriptive of the entire team. When we finally arrived back in the States and headed to the dealership, we were warmly welcomed and surprised to see our brand new, shiny Forester sparkling out in the morning sun...my wife was overjoyed (smiled during the entire test drive and every time she drives her new car!). As a first time car buyer, I had a bad experience at Subaru of Orange Park. Some of those are my fault, but in the end I feel like I was not a valued customer. I will let you decide if I deserved the problems outlined below:I recently graduated college, was 22 years old, and purchased my first used car on my own with my own money and intentionally without my parents present. The negotiations were to be expected, but after I purchased the car, there were many issues that I did not foresee. 1. I live in Mandarin and as I am crossing the Buckman Bridge, my gas light turns on. Not a big deal, but if I am purchasing a car it would be good customer service for the light to not turn on 3 miles from the dealership.2. My driver side mirror started to rattle to the point that I could not see the cars behind me. This was not an issue on my 40mph test drive, but on the highway it was quickly a problem. When I brought it back, the guys at the service center secured it free of charge so as far as I am concerned it wasn't too big of a deal.3. As I am showing my parents my purchase, I notice that the back car doors do not lock properly nor do the back windows roll properly. When I was test driving and checking out the vehicle, I only checked the front doors (first-time car buying mistake). The service center agreed to replace the parts free of charge but I would have to purchase the parts that were worn out. I feel like this was a "got you" moment considering they probably knew the features did not work. I did not expect this from a car dealership.4. I opened my glove compartment and noticed that there was mold inside. They (re)cleaned my car free of charge and assured me that it was taken care of with those who should have done it the first time. 5. As I am driving in Georgia, I get pulled over because of my window tint. I completely admit that my ignorance of the window tint laws are my fault, but I was surprised that a car dealership would sell me a car off the lot that has illegal properties without making it known. Is it a law? Debatable. Is it right? I do not think so. Again, this was my first car buying experience. It was a process I wanted to go through on my own and did so on my own. As a whole, a couple of these things could have been avoided if I had been more diligent in checking out the car before I purchased it, however I went to a "reputable" car dealership to avoid buying a car with such problems. I certainly did not read the fine print that I was purchasing the car "as-is". I highly recommend that you read everything and consider the repercussions of the "as-is" line.Side note: the service guys were fantastic when they were helping fix the offered aforementioned problems. The silver lining is that when I go to a different dealership for my next car, I will know how to check everything to make sure that it is in working order thanks to my experience at Subaru of Orange Park.

The salesman, Turk Mehmet Cicek, who handled my purchase of a new 2015 Subaru WRX Limited was calm, professional, and patient. There was no pressure during demonstration of the vehicle, and he answered all my questions during and after the demonstration. I wanted a particular configuration of the WRX that was not easy to find, and had specific color requirements. Mr. Cicek worked with me to find what I was looking for. I recommend that anyone considering a new vehicle confer with Mr. Cicek.

I had done my research and knew exactly what I wanted. I selected the dealership (SoOP) primarily due to the proximity to my home. I walked in on a weekend morning and met Brent Andrus, a warm and affable young man, who after some discussion and research determined that my Forester would need to be ordered from the factory. We struck up a deal that had me scheduled to receive my vehicle at a later date. Throughout the wait, Brent continued to followup with me and give me feedback. When the Forester arrived, we discovered that it was not as ordered. No problem, Brent AND the dealership made sure that I would be a happy customer. I went to the other Subaru dealer in town to see the BRZ. They wouldn't let me even sit in one! I didn't have my cosigner with me at the time so they told me to come back when I have my cosigner and are ready to do business. I was completely turned off by the way they treated me!! That being said I left. I found the orange park location online and headed straight there. When I arrived at Subaru of Orangepark I was greeted with a smile and a friendly can shake. Michael quickly found out what I was looking for I put an excellent deal together for me! He had the paper ready quickly and went over the car in great detail. I would definitely recommend Subaru OfOrange Park

When I first walked in i was greeted by Tim Peeler( general manager). After telling Mr. Peeler what i was interested in he introduced me to Tyler Hopgood, who further assisted me with all my car needs. This is my first Subaru, my aunt had one and pushed me to make the switch from Toyota to Subaru. I absolutely love my Outback 2014! Katie was wonderful and so patient with me as I looked around the lot and to find the right fit for me and my family. We spoke for about 2 weeks. This dealership has been wonderful with keeping in touch with me to make sure that I am satisfied with my purchase. The Service department is stellar as well!! I do not remember the nice gentlemen that helped me with my first service on my car but he was wonderful, informative and thorough.

She was very helpful and courteous and even came over to help me transfer my tag from my old car to this one. She was one of a kind. I had to take the car back in due to a noise, which they fixed in a very timely manner. One of the best companies I have dealt with.

Went here on Christmas Eve to buy a new Crosstrek. When salesman brought me the price, I told him that was too much. The sales manager then came out. He said that the price they were giving me was the lowest they could go as it was the price the dealer paid for the car. He offered to show it to me on his computer, and I told him not to bother because I thought he could show me any price he wanted to. He asked me if I was calling him a 'liar', and I said no. I told him that I just didn't think that the price he offered was the lowest they could offer. He then stood up and angrily stated that I was calling him a 'liar', and he went back to his office. I then left the showroom, and the salesman followed me outside. He offered to show me a less expensive car. I declined and left. I went to Subaru of Jacksonville the day after Christmas, and they had the exact Crosstrek on their lot. I negotiated a price $1700 less than the Orange Park dealer. I am still not calling the Orange Park Sales Manager a 'liar', but the end price does.

Purchased a 2015 forester on june 30, 2014. Chose the base model, when test drove tire light was on. We had an attractive female saleswoman, she knew the vehicle pretty well. Asked her a few times about tint, she didn't offer any arrangements to make that happen. Subaru of jax had a white forester which is the color I wanted, however, Subaru of op was quick to price match so that kept us there, saved us a drive. We proceeded with buying the vehicle, had a camry to trade Iin paid the rest half cash half check. Counted the cash at home (many times) then at dealership to the new person doing the financial part of deal. We counted, he counted, got receipt then waited (& waited & waited) for the rest of paperwork to be finished, & car to be cleaned. After a long while the financial guy who had nonchalantly put cash in his front pocket came & got us asking us to count the money AGAIN. this time it came up $80 short, we shouldve walked away then, but wanting the car agreed to change the price we had agreed on (20,000) to (19,920.00) we were so ready to go after that. Didn't fix tire light & had to return to wait at least an hour for them to fix. First oil change waited an hour & a half with 2 young children. They say customer satisfaction is so important with their recorded calls& emails but they don't come close to it once you purchase your car, you are left to be very disappointed.

I got a good price on my trade-in and a fair price on the new vehicle itself. This was my first new-car buying experience...Subaru of Orange Park did a great job overall from beginning to end. I went to Subaru of Orange Park looking for a new BRZ, or perhaps a WRX hatchback after selling my old Subaru. Everyone that greeted us was extremely friendly and offered refreshments. I was able to take a BRZ on a long enough test drive to decide it just wasn't for me. Then I was able to test drive a new WRX which was such an all-around great car that I bought it that day. The ease of financing, and overall experience was a hassle-free breeze. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used car, I even drove past another Subaru dealership to get to this one.

We spoke price and model w/ JC, and I was impressed by his openness, friendliness, and understanding of the vehicle he was selling. Next day my wife and I drove from Gainesville to Orange Park to meet with JC and see the Outback we wanted and agreed upon over the phone. JC was very thorough in going through all the features of the SUV and made us feel at home at the dealership, as did others we spoke with including the financial manager. It was a very good experience for us, and we love the Outback. Thanks.

I am always hesitant to take a car to a dealership for repair. I do alot of my own car care and am an avid hobbyist with vehicles. I know enough to be dangerous and difficult. So I admit I entered the arrangement with preconceptions and an attitude that may or may not have been justified. Within the first three minutes of waiting to be acknowledged by the service staff my prejudices swung to convictions. Don't leave a customer at your desk waiting, all I need is a "be right with you sir" or even a smile and friendly gesture some acknowledgement that my time is important. I explained the above personal history/disclaimer to the service counter rep he was nonplussed and couldn't care. I had a transmission issue that was inconsistent and possibly electronic in nature. We agreed on a timeline for contact and since I did not have an appointment I understood they would do there best to get the car in. At this point I was hoping to receive the benefit of brand specific technician training and support. "Yes'sir we see this problem from time to time we'll get it looked at and taken care of". Instead I received a laundry list of things that need to be corrected prior to any of my requested service/diagnosis could be completed. This list included the mileage specific service check, a very, very slight oil cooler leak. I never have to top off between oil changes, a bent wheel (had tires replaced/balanced two weeks ago and the shop made no mention of this) a split rear axle bushing which is actually the sway bar bushing. The bushing is factory split so it can be installed easily. And the $120 offer to re-flash my computer since I replaced the battery over a year ago. And no explanation as to how/why this would help. The onset of the transmission errors did not coincide with the changing of the battery. So all in all pretty poor understanding of a special needs customer and an inability to step out of the corporate mindset to help your customer. When I asked for a copy of the paperwork, the copier was broken. Irony or Karma? You batstatrds. So instead of making a 5000 service bill happen they received a vocal pissed off customer. I hope they choke on the new printer cartridge.

From the time I got to the dealership, I expected this would be just like all my other car buying ventures, Bad. I must admit that Henry was very eager beaver to help me and make me feel at ease. Pricing was in line to my experience with the other Jax area Subaru dealer who only seemed concerned with showing me the invoice instead of showing me why I should buy the Outback. Henry and Alex earned my business by proving that price was second to the quality of the Outback. After all was said and done you sold me why you were the best choice by introducing me around the dealership from your General Manager to your mechanic that would be servicing my Outback. I look forward to coming back for my oil changes. Oh by the way, thanks for the water for my dog Henry!! A+++

My wife and I drove about 2.5 hours to Subaru of Orange Park after some intense research on the car we wanted and seeing that they had what we needed at the best price we could find. I got military orders to relocate to Alaska and needed a reliable family car. They accepted two trade-ins (one of which was a motorcycle) and were even able to get us a MUCH better loan rate than our own bank would give us. Jose Saldana spent the entire day (about 10am to around 5:45pm) trying to help us make this happen and I can honestly say this is the best experience I've had at a dealership. I would recommend this dealership to anyone I knew.

salesman was a total smart alec. drove 100 miles to dealership based on internet ads for used cars. test drove one. salesman knew nothing about the car. car was dirty w/animal hair everywhere. we inquired about the price advertised and were told price was with $3000 down or trade, salesman said you had to click on the picture of the car to see that. seems shifty! we left and bought a car down the street from Hyundai. a much better experience.
