If you're in the market for a used vehicle, you've got to see Dennis Lietz at Suburban Ford in Ferndale. My experience is a "Good Deal Gone Great". My wife and I were in the market for a used Ford Flex. Driving back from Troy, we saw a 2010 White Flex at Suburban. Monday evening, we went and met Dennis who told us the Flex had a deposit and showed us other vehicle. Saddened with couldn't find "our" car. When leaving I gave Dennis my business card and told him if anything fell through on the Flex to let me know. I few days later Dennis said the Flex was available again and I had 1st dibbs. Negoiated the trade in and we're driving away in "our" Ford Flex. Thanks for the help Dennis.

I located my car online the night before. I went to this dealer the following morning, very credit challenged and on time restrictions (I had to get to work by noon). I arrived at 10:04 am and spoke to Anthony Charles (sales man, a very good one, just look at the sales chart in there office:) I explained to him about my creditworthiness, my time restrictions and any concerns I had about finance rates and payment amounts. At 10:11 am I filled out a short credit application and was handed the keys to my new car to test drive. At 10:58 am, I returned from my test drive and LOVED IT! Still know answer but now even more determined. At 11:03 am, I was asked to contact my insurance provider and my car disappeared from sight. At 11:09 am, Anthony escorted me to finance department, where I met (wonder women) Colleen Coleman! Incredible woman and what I could see very respected from her colleagues. To get me approve at the rate and payment amount I needed, Colleen must've sold her soul LOL thank you! I signed my last paper at 11:59 a.m. stepped out of the dealer and into my freshly detailed and wash new vehicle! I was 22 minutes late for work but all is forgiven. Kudos to Anthony and Colleen great family atmosphere! Keep up the great work! I like this team so much that I bought another dream car from Anthony and Colleen 2 weeks later at even a better rate. superb service I will return! Customer for life..... M. Reed

I was treated like just another person off the street by these 2 arrogant salesmen. Even the finance manager was very ubrupt and didn't take the time to thoroughly explain the documents I was signing. I was promised 2 things to be addressed in my vehicle following the recent purchase and was just informed that both the salesman and his manager are no longer there. I have left a message with the interim manager and GM with no return call. Very POOR service! All they care about is sales and not customers. Will NEVER do business here again!

Anthony's Charles was my salesperson, i was interested in a 2009 Infiniti G37. The day I showed up to look at it it was in detail, he apologized for the inconvenience and then proceeded to show me around the lot. I returned 2 days later, the vehicle was in service, Anthony took me over so i could get a look at it, he showed me all the work that was being performed. I returned the next day, test drovee the car and Anthony was able to get me above BB value for my trade in. I highly recommend Anthony, I know I will be using him again when I purchase another vehicle. Colleen Coleman was the young lady who did my financing, she was tremendous and a real pleasure to work with.

I want what I want. I had very specific items I requested on my 2016 Ford Escape. I gave Nick the model, year, equipment, exterior, interior and accessories I wanted. I couldn't live without anything I didn't list. Basically a needle in a haystack. He got it for me! Brad called everyone to make sure I got the vehicle and financing at the price I wanted! I put them through the ringer and they came through for me. Not only were these gentlemen personable, they were professional. They answered all of my questions in regards to the contract or anything else. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone who is looking to buy a vehicle. This dynamic duo will work hard for you.

We were in need for a larger family vehicle as our family is wxpanding. Filled out an application online and received a phone call the following morning to set up an appointment with Matt Sowter. From the minute my wife and I met with Matt, we knew that we were going to be taken care of rather than taken advantage of. Matt asked what we were looking for and the amount that we were comfortable with to pay for the vehicle and by the end of the evening he said that we would have the vehicle that we were looking for. He was very straight forward and honest, and did not try to push us into something that we did not want. By the end of the night we had purchased a 2013 Ford Taurus. If there is anyone who is need of a vehicle new or used, I would not recommend anyone else but Matt Sowter to help get them thru to the vehicle they are looking for.The only downside to our experience was in the cleanliness of the vehicle when we picked it up. On the surface it looked immaculate. When we got home and began to place car seats and other things in the vehicle we began to notice the dirt on the leather and a sticky substance on armrests and in the cup holders. When you pulled down the center armrest in the backseat it was covered with dirt and what seemed to be syrup. Worst of all is the musty / mildew odor that is now present since the air freshener from the detail at the dealership has worn off. We have tried to remove the smell with no success. We hope there is a way that this can be resolved. I do understand that this was a used vehicle, but at the same time the Suburban stamp is on it and it should be treated with the same care as a new vehicle. As stated above, Matt Sowter was fantastic to meet and a pleasure to do business with. My wife and I will be sure to send all of our friends and family his way when they are ready to upgrade to new vehicles. We cannot thank Matt enough for his help.

Found a used truck I was interested in on CL so I decided to take a drive to Suburban Ford of Ferndale to take a look at it. I got there before open hours but Dave Askew was there and answered any questions I had. He then introduced me to Anthony Charles who got me in the truck for a test drive and I was sold. Colleen in finance got me a great plan and the whole deal took less than 2 hours. The whole deal was a pleasure along with Dave, Anthony and Colleen. It's worth the trip to see them if you are looking a new used car or truck.

My experience started via the website, which was well laid out and user friendly. After finding a couple cars I was interested in, I decided to visit the dealership. Anthony quickly had me test-driving one of the cars while my old car was being appraised for trade-in. I was able to select the car I wanted, got good value on my trade and had the deal wrapped up in no time. Colleen was clear and concise as she explained the paperwork. All told, in about 2 hours, i was in my car driving off the lot. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I contacted Suburban Ford of Ferndale to get a lease Fusion for my daughter. I contacted the dealership and was assigned to Andre Evans as the sales representative to assist me. He was absolutely superb!!! Extremely polite and very knowledgable. He found the exact car my daughter wanted in the exact color and all the specifications. To top it off, he handled all the paperwork and told me everything i needed prior to me coming down to sign the paperwork. the entire transaction took less than an hour. My girl and I were on our way from Virginia to Michigan for the holidays when my 08 Escape ran into transmission troubles. We limped it to my parents house and the next day to the transmission shop where they told me it would be $2700 for a new trans, needless to say that dampened my Christmas spirit. While figuring what to do from here my father asked if I'd take his Edge to Suburban Ford for an oil change. While there I was so impressed with the service side I began to look at the showroom, that's where Mr. Darin Fogle was introduced to me. Darin heard my story, sympathized with my situation, and explained to me that I actually could afford a new vehicle. In our conversation it dawned on him that he sold my father his truck as well. Darin was given my MAX budget, what I preferred in a new vehicle, and delivered to the T! I was more sold on the level of knowledge he had of the Ford Edge, the remembrance of my family, as well as the time he spent with me getting exactly what I wanted in a new car. Great salesperson. Dealt with him over the phone for 90% of the sale. Really quick to get back with me with responses to questions and finance options. I drove 2 hours to purchase from him and would do it again. The car was very very clean, great condition, great value. Best deal in Michigan. I didn't like the pushing of the extended warranty by the finance girl, but that's almost expected. Overall great experience and I will be going back to them for my next vehicle.

I took a long time to make up my mind, but Darin Fogle, my salesman, was very patient with me. He knew I had restraints on the size of my monthly lease payment and he knew the options on wanted on my Escape. He gave me a very fair deal and my car has more perks than I actually asked for. My son was with me when I leased the car. He too was very pleased with my deal and with Darin Fogle. When I lease again, I will return to Darin at Suburban Ford in Ferndale.

At first contact with the dealership the customer service was terrible. Not once throughout the phone conversations was I called back when they said they would call. Almost did not purchase car from Suburban Ford for that reason. Finally made a deal and was going to pick up the truck the next day. Told them I did not have much time to test drive the truck and make the purchase. They said they would have the truck ready and all paperwork filled out and ready to go. I was very skeptical. They had also said they would call back 3 times before and did not. I arrived at 8:30 am like I said. The truck was out front. Dominic was standing there with the keys. I test drove it. Dominic walked me over to finance department. All paperwork was waiting on me. Signed paperwork and was gone in 30 min. Everyone was nice and was very attentive to my needs. Overall a poor start with an excellent finish. I probably would come back.

They tried to trick me into buying an overpriced warranty, I purchased the exact same warranty for over half the cost a month later. I was told the tires we not leaking when I mentioned low tire pressure, I had to replace them within a week after sale. Pointed out rust before purchase and was told it was no big deal and within two months I was finding paint flaking off, I called David, Used Sales Manager and asked if they could fix it for me since I was just out of corrosion warranty and David was not helpful at all, wouldn't even work with me on a better price than I can get at any other ford dealer. Worst experience with a dealer that I have ever had, I would not recommend buying any vehicle from David the used car manager or any of the other staff, you will get taken.

Went in for a full service oil change which was done in a timely manner, had 2 guys working on my car and a manager watching. Offered other free services on my vehicle. In the end, they signed me up for discounted oil changes. Just want I need!!

They really go out of their way to make you satisfied. The service and repairs were handled extremely well. They are also doing a great job with renovating the old Ed Schmidt Bldg. Our advisor, Kareem Ward, did an exceptional job at getting us the best price and to keep us informed of how our repairs were moving aloing. I would definitely suggest anyone to take their vehicle to this fast and friendly dealership.

I purchased my vehicle from Suburban Ford of Ferndale back in March and came in unscheduled because of my tire pressure light coming on. I was assisted within moments of pulling into the service lane. My service advisor was very friendly and told be about a recall that was needed for my vehicle. It look only a few hours to address me tire pressure concern as well as my recall. The waiting room was very nice and comfortable. Everyone from the advisor to the cashier was friendly and informative on all questions that I had. Awesome service and people!

As a first time user of this facility, I was extremely pleased and satisfied with the service department. The entire staff that I dealt with included the service advisor, the service manager, and the cashier and all of them were very courteous, helpful, and made me feel like a valued customer. The repairs were done efficiently and in a timely manner. I would not hesitate to refer Suburban Ford of Ferndale to anyone looking for an honest and reliable dealership. I've had one repair and an oil change done here since Suburban took over the dealership, and both rimes I was really impressed with both the facilities and the professionalism of the staff. On this most recent visit, they immediately took my car out for a test drive, determined that a needed software update had NOT been done by the previous dealership, found that I had a recall pending, and repaired a tire- all in less than half an hour. They did the update and told me they'd call me as soon as parts were in for the recall fix. Everyone I dealt with with friendly in a genuine way. The customer waiting room is a plush, open area just off the showroom, with comfortable chairs, TV, magazines, and plenty of free coffee. It's the nicest waiting room I've seen in all my years of driving, and that includes the Saturn dealership where I bought two cars. I am totally sold on this dealership, and if I buy another Ford, it'll be from Suburban.

I was looking on the intrenet, I found the truck I thought I wanted to buy. I called the dealership and was given an appointment with a salesman for the next day. I drove in from Lake Odessa, Michigan to look at the truck. When I arrived, that person was no longer with the dealership. Dominic, who was new to Suburban Ford (1 week) offered to help me. He found the truck for me and brought it up so I could test drive it. The truck was exactly what I wanted and drove great. I explained that I work 12 hours a day 7 days a week and I needed to drive the truck home that day as I did not have time to fool around. He did everything he could to help me make that happen. The finance manager did an excellent job also and got me financed within an a couple of hours. They were having problems with the internet so he drove to his home and used his computer to arrange everything for me. Dominic had the truck fueled up and detailed for me while we waiting. I drove the truck home that same day and could not be happier with the truck and the dealership. Everyone was great.

I was impressed right off with how the dealership had been remodeled since the change in ownership- one big sparkling clean bay for service, service reps right there waiting for you, and a big, comfy lounge to wait in with armchairs, TV, and fresh coffee.

I bought a used car and not even 24 hours later the car is not driving. I test drove the car the day before and the car was fine. I talk to the sales man that sold me the car and he told me o well that is the chance you take when you buy a used car. I spoke to the used car lot supervisor and he told me he couldn't and wouldn't do any thing for me. 24 hours later and I'm out of my money with a lemon car. DON'T BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!!!!

Facilities under construction, hence the three stars. Everyone there was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They didn't play games and were honest about pricing. Chris was well informed about the vehicle we purchased and offered help in the future if we have problems with features or understanding the manual. The paperwork took the least amount of time of any car I've bought. Very organized. Talked to several dealerships about similar cars with similar prices, but went with them because other dealers didn't return calls or tried to be shady about pricing ( quoting one amount then changing it later) - none of that here. Very straightforward and really seemed to want to get us in a car.
