This is the 3rd time we came to Surburban Ford dealership. Each and every time we got the ultimate best trade in value, found the exact vehicle we were looking. We were treated with respect, offered comparative informational. We shopped at several other dealerships before making these purchases. Each and every time the offer here could not be beat.Out sales person, Matthew Siman, followed up on all our requests. He returned our phone calls, searched the inventories to find the vehicle we wanted at the price we were willing to pay. I have recommended both Matthew and Suburban Ford to friends and family.

This was the second experience in three months I've had with a new vehicle lease with our sales guy Jim Belk and Sarah Long in finance / vehicle closing. Both employ the utmost professional demeanor and integrity. Jim is a family friend, but we had been working with a different dealership for years. We happen to bump into Jim one day while getting an oil change at Suburban Ford. We were in the market to get our daughter a reliable vehicle for college. Jim did not try to pressure me and casually offered a test drive on an Escape and I was sold! He was very respectful of our timeline and budget and didn't try any unnecessary upselling. Sarah walked through the lease paperwork with my daughter and me. Although I had leased previously and technically was the new car owner, she made my daughter feel a part of the process and helped her gain an understanding of car ownership economics. We knew we wanted the wheel and tire warranty and Sarah ensured we had a clear understanding of how that coverage worked in the unfortunate event we have to use it. She didn't try to upsell additional coverage that we were not interested in. Again, no pressure, making the process that much more smooth to get us in and out during my lunch break.When my lease was expiring, Jim contacted me and let me know when I could turn my car in early. Again, I had a timeline and budget in mind, and Jim maintained a professional respect around my wishes. I told Jim the kind of vehicle I was looking for and he found the one meeting my exact specifications ... including the exact color!!We used to shop at Suburban Ford, but stopped coming here as a result of the declining satisfaction received in the service department. After seeing Jim, we started returning for simple things like oil changes and tire rotations. It's taken a long time to regain confidence in this dealership, but as long as people like Jim and Sarah are working there and the service department continues to improve their performance, we will continue to patronize this dealership.

By far the worst dealership - doesn't embrace technology and insists on doing things the old "come on in" way. It's 2016 - but they operate like it's 1990. They must be too busy since they don't have time to respond to emails.

As they say "3rd times a charm"I have visited Mandy a total of 3 times in the last 4 months looking to get out of my 2014 Fusion lease a year early and let just say I did not make it an easy task for her. I was over miles, in a payment way to high and credit that was not so steller BUT on the 3rd visit she got it done! Not because she was selling me a car but she genuinely cared about helping me. She is super friendly, real and honest about what needs to be done and get it done fast with a constant smile and a fantastic personality. I couldn't be happier with my New 2017 Fusion and all the the people that helped my at Suburban Ford of Sterling Heights.

I found our first visit to Suburban Ford very informative. Russ came out to greet us on Saturday October 15th in the used car area, and he was very knowledgeable on the vehicles we were looking at. My husband and I took the Hyundai Tucson for a test drive to make sure it would be a reliable car for our daughter. We came back Monday night and my daughter took it for a test drive and fell in love. She also took a Jeep Liberty for a text drive as well. We came back Tuesday to do all the paperwork and purchase the Hyundai. Vito was our finance guy. He seemed quite knowledgeable as well.

I had a professional experience with the sales rep Brad Matyunas. With the approval of the manager Brian Lagodna I got a sweet deal on a 2016 Fusion. Brad noticed a fob and navigation disk was missing (2 things I didn't catch) and had them replaced. This was after the price we agreed upon. For good measure he had the gas tank filled also. I'd recommend them to every one.

I brought my 2016 Explorer sport to fix a known issue with the Car. Initially, when discovered, there was no known fix. As soon as it became available, Mike called me and arranged for me to drop off the car and took care of it. the whole experience was fantastic. My wife dropped off the car on Wednesday and I received 2 calls from Mike and Dave ( the service advisor ) by Thursday detailing the whole process and the expected time. We will definitely keep dealing with this dealership, though it is far from our house, as long as you have employees and managers that care and get the job done with a smile.Much appreciated,Riad

Anthony Mazza made a great first impression and was a pleasure to work with. My salesman was Jeremy Randolph who was great! We communicated through email, phone and in person. He really put in the effort to find me what I was looking for with keeping my needs in mind for my expanding family. There was no sales pressure and I got a great deal. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming at the dealership. Its a comfortable setting for those times when you have to wait to go through the sales process (which was pretty quick anyways!). I confirmed my appointment to test drive the 2014 Ford Escape that was listed on EBay. Avery set our appointment for 5pm on Friday with MJ. Avery then confirmed my appointment time to test drive the car not once, not twice, but three times. One of those times being only 3 hours before my scheduled appointment at 5pm. My husband and I drove two hours one way arriving at our scheduled appointment a half hour early. We were then informed that MJ was on vacation and that Terry would be assisting us. We were informed by Terry that the vehicle we drove two hours to test drive was sold. When I questioned him why Avery did not inform me the car was not available he told me Avery is not aware of our inventory. Her job is to get you in the door, and it worked. I have never experienced a more frustrating, unprofessional situation. I am planning on telling as many people as I can using all forms of social media about my horrible experience at Suburban Ford of Sterling Heights.

I didn't not go back for the car and still looking for to get one! My husband got a car in the past and the sales man cared but I guess you can't get that all the time!! Although I was using my own bank, Anthony never made me feel bad for doing so either. He was so friendly and on the ball with everything--making the process go as smoothly as possible without making me feel rushed. I was able to be in and out of the dealership in a matter of a couple hours and on my way home in my new used car! When I went to go turn in my lease across the street, Corina was there to help in the 5 minutes it took to terminate everything. Definitely will come back in the future!

Took a 35 min drive to look at a used car from Internet. Salesman tho polite was clearly not interested in selling this car. Just stood there. Had to ask if he had the keys. The battery was totally dead to which I said " won't do me much good looking at it with a dead battery. His reply was no mame ... Really? Didn't offer to jump it or apologize , just no ma'am .. Got out handed him the keys and said yeah, thanks. Then he finally said that if I really wanted him to he could try to jump it..no thanks I said. I'm a older woman with the cash on hand to buy that car.. I'll never go back. Thanks for nothing...

My son and I were cash buyers on the used car lot. We called early in the day on a car and was told it was still available. We made an arrangement to see the car, both changed our work schedules inconveniently to make out there only to find the car was already being sold. 2 1/2 hours we'll never get back. It would have been nice to receive a phone call once the car was test driven by someone else. We left extremely disappointed, frustrated and irritated by this. Maybe it was the dealership's fault, maybe it was just bad fortune. Regardless, it left a very bad taste in our mouth and we will be taking our business elsewhere. Not just used car business either, I currently have a Fusion that's lease is almost up. I was going to give Suburban that business as well but will not now.

We started our experience with Daniela on the phone, she was very nice and made us a great offer. We drove 5 hours to see the red Ford Explorer we found on line. Daniela was not at the dealership but she referred us to Robert and we are so glad she did. Robert is a kind and patient person. He made us feel at ease and helped us to make good and educated decisions in regards to turning in our lease vehicle and leasing the new Explorer. He offered us something to drink more than once, he solved every problem that came up, he transferred our license plate, he got in the car and taught us how to use the navigation,etc. He just went above and beyond for us. Huge dealership with immense selection of used cars. While I was waiting to speak with Mike, I noticed a few customers come in and they were greeted immediately and asked if they needed assistance. I dealt with Mike and he was friendly, courteous and concerned with making sure everything was right. I ended up buying a car from him and am very pleased about the buying experience here. I also like the fact that Mike is very low key and questioned me more than once to make sure I didn't have any unresolved issues regarding anything about the purchase/car. I didn't finance through there, but the Finance Manager Vito was friendly and professional as well.

I had a down payment at this dealership for a used car and was told I was "good to go" from the finance manager. Had everything set with proof of insurance etc... to go there and have the finance and sales manager try to negotiate a longer finance term with me. They mislead me and try to con me into thinking they were "doing me a favor and saving me money". Why would I still want to have a car payment on a car that will be 10 years old? They employee young, good looking guys that know all the lines to reel you in then think they will be able to convince you to still buy the car with a longer term. Very disappointing and frustrating experience with this dealership and I won't recommend them or go there again!

Not happy with the customer service I received from my repair. I took my car in this past Monday for a recall, I was told that my car would be done th next day and that I only needed a rental car for only a day. The next day I called to confirm it was ready and they told me they never said it would be ready or anything, staff was extremely rude and the manager never answered any of my calls. I will never go here again. They should be paying for my rental car after putting me through all this.

I had heard about Suburban Ford being the #1 dealer in the state of Michigan through the grapevine. When my daughter had been having a difficult time finding the exact car she had wanted and the prices being offered at other dealerships were out of her range, I decided to give them a call. I was connected to Terry Lange through the dealer operator and this man couldn't have been more patient, kind or helpful. He stayed on the phone with me for about 20 minutes and gave me the information about cars on their lot that suited her wish list and price range. Not once, did he give me the usual "car sales" run around. My daughter and I decided to go and visit Terry in person to review the cars he told me about. Not only did Terry and Suburban Ford find her the Ford Escape that she had been wanting (miles, options and color) but at a lower price AND finance rate than had been offered to her by other dealerships. This was my daughters first newer car purchase with a loan she obtained all by herself at 21, and exactly the experience I had wanted her to have (which I told both Terry and his Manager!) She was extremely frustrated at the other dealership but now she is extremely happy and LOVES HER CAR!! We WILL be back to do business with Terry, Brian Lagodna (Used Car Sales Manager) and Vito Vultaggio (Finance Manager) again in the very new future! Thank you all!

This was my first time leasing a car and Mark Devergilio was very committed to get me a deal I could afford, seeming as how I'm straight out of college and just starting my career. Stopped in to check a vehicle they had listed on the internet. The sales guy was fine if you could weed through the fast talking sales hype. We were shown a different vehicle as an option which was by chance so HOT that the sales guy had just gotten off the phone with an out of town buyer interested in the vehicle. The vehicle was over the price we initially were looking to stay in so I asked if there was anyway of coming down on the price. Same old story; he would have to check with the Manager. He was determined to get us to test drive the vehicle so he could get us in the door and make the sale. So the sales guy went into the office and got the keys and to check on the price. When he came back out guess what? There was another buyer on the lot interested in the vehicle also and the price was what it was. After my husband took the test drive we went into the office to see what price could be worked out and guess what? The price was reduced only when the sales guy got the vibe that we were getting ready to leave. He told us we could put $500 down and lock the car in from being sold while we looked at financing with our bank. When we declined he got up from his chair and walked away without another word or a hand shake. When he approached the other sales guys in the office he loudly exclaimed "THEY CAN'T AFFORD IT". Well guess what Suburban Ford we could afford it and we will probably buy a few more vehicles in our life time. However, you can bet your life they won't be from your dealership.

When the listing was posted for the 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland on Cars.com, I knew I had to have it. It looked to be in immaculate condition. It was even already at a very reasonable price as verified on Kelly Blue Book. More importantly though, I had to make sure it was the right car.I inquired about the truck the first day it was listed, before it had even been through detailing and inspection. Already I became a little afraid, especially since this would be my first time buying a vehicle on my own, when I seen it the first time, there were tons of lights on for ABS, TPS, 4X4, and engine codes. The free CarFax available for the vehicle had a decent history. My sales Consultant, Mario Stellino, told me that their mechanics were working on repairing and cleaning up any problems with the vehicle; I was even able to talk with the mechanic, Dino, who was the person actually working on the truck. He gave me details on all the things they were doing, what was wrong and what things my happen in the long future of the vehicle. I asked how the repairs would affect the price of the car and rest assured, the price we would be negotiating was for having everything on the truck working.After they replaced a few parts on the vehicle a few of the problems were corrected on the vehicle, the only things left were to fix the ABS, TPS, and display. At this point, I requested to take it for a pre-purchase inspection and had the car there immediately, no hassle. For repairing the rest of the vehicle to brand new condition, the pre-purchase inspectors quoted me $1000. Concerned, I brought this to the attention of Mario; he told me he would talk with his boss to see what could be negotiated.The next day I received a call from Mario, after talking with his boss, he offered me the vehicle 1100 lower to cover for the cost of my pre-inspection and all the repairs. I immediately jumped on the offer, purchased the vehicle and had the difference repaired. Now I'm happy to say that I'm driving around MY 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland with no problems all bellow the price I wanted! It sounds and runs great, rides smoothly, and even tows my boat without complaints.I couldn't believe how smooth the transactions were. They made sure to keep me informed about the vehicle in its process. I was able to take the vehicle on several test drives. I viewed a few similar vehicles. I took the truck for independent inspection, which verified everything Mario and Dino told me. The price was negotiated and adjusted reasonably for me. Although I had already financed the car though my credit union, Caleb, the finance manager, explained my options and offered a few warranties and options they had, I declined them and he did not pressure me at all. We finished the whole signing process in well under five minutes. Everyone I spoke with was more than happy to assist me along the way and was amazingly friendly.I never could have imagined such a wonderful experience going through a dealership after always being told horror stories and how conniving car salesmen were. There was no intense negotiation, arm twisting, or boxing match between me seeing the truck and me taking it home. I would advise anyone looking to buy a car to come and see Mario. I'm so glad I came to Suburban Ford to buy my first vehicle.

My intent was to lease or purchase a new F150. I have the A Plan discount as well as competitive bonus and all the other rebates. I sent an email to a number of local dealers since I knew exactly what I wanted. Jim Belk of Suburban Ford answered my email and gave me all the information I was looking for. The other dealers did not take into account all of my discounts or just gave me a high price right off the bat - playing games. Jim was transparent in the process. I did not feel like he was holding out or hiding anything. He went out of his way to find the best lease deal for me which happened to be a truck with more content. Win win. Additionally, I was able to trade in my old Chevy truck and got a fair price on it. Normally, I sell my own vehicles but the trade in price was high enough that I reconsidered. This was a smooth process, again thanks to Jim. I still had one more payment on the Chevy but Jim and Suburban were able to make it a seamless transaction - I came with my old truck and picked up the new one all within a very short time. I value my time and this was the quickest purchase I've made for a new vehicle - the whole process from the initial request to picking up my new truck. Overall, I would highly recommend Jim Belk and the Suburban Ford dealership.

The process was timely, however upon arrival to pick up the car, none of the paperwork was done and there was missing equipment that was suppose to be added to the car. I just bought my first used car, I found it online and arranged via email to test drive the same day. We were met by John who was very nice and knowledgeable. He was willing to answer any question we had and did a fine job of juggling 3 customers at the same time - I was amazed. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of buying from John and I love my used SUV!!! I was a little disappointed in the dealership in that my car was delivered with less than a 1/4 tank of gas...My low fuel warning came on during my drive home from the dealership. There also was only 1 set of keys provided to me for my car...I have always bought new and always got 2 sets of keys...had I known I was only get one I would've negotiated the price down a little since buying a 2nd set from the GMC dealer is going to be costly.

I won't recommend family and friends to go to a place that the staff doesn't even call when stating they will! I've had a lot of bad experiences overall at dealerships. but Suburban was amazing.My mechanic suggested looking into a focus and I found a ton of reasonably priced ones at Suburban Ford of Sterling Heights. They were quick and communicative. I had inquired about a car on Sunday while they were closed, and received a response first thing on Monday morning, by email as I requested instead of calling. When I responded to Michelle's email to make an appointment she responded almost immediately with a confirmation. They were available when I had to switch the appointment time. and perfectly polite when I showed up late because I was lost. They worked quickly to get me into the car I wanted within a couple of hours. Dylan, Vito and a man who I believe is a sales manager. For the first time I had an experience with a dealership that involved reasonable, honest and pleasant people.

I met with Terry later that day and I was shocked at how well he treated me. He was very professional and very helpful with helping me decide which car would be best for my family. We initially went there to look at a 2013 Tahoe, which was newly listed and there was no information on the website where we found it. When they pulled up the vehicle, it was everything that we wanted. They gave us all the car info including the Carfax and told us they would clean the car up, put it through the inspection, and fix the paint on the right bumper. In a few days, it was ready for re-inspection, and we were sold. The process was pretty painless. The price was more than fair. And, there was no upselling of things they didn't think we needed. Our salesman, Roman, was personable and engaging. The Manager, Brian, was extremely accommodating and made sure that we were completely satisfied with our purchase, quality of car detailing and the paint repair was done to our standards. The financing with Justin was a "piece of cake". I would highly recommend checking these guys out.

DO NOT BUY a used vehicle from these people. This place is a perfect representation of every stereotypical sleezy used car lot: perfectly friendly and accomodating when you walk in, nightmare to work with after you buy. I was told that some scratches and chips I pointed out on the vehicle would be taken care of - I would just need to bring the vehicle back to have the work done because their body/paint person is only in on Wednesdays. Wednesday rolls around and I'm told that the guy won't be in until the following day and I should bring the vehicle back at 12:00. My wife and I specifically make plans around our schedules to bring the vehicle back and when we do, my wife is told the guy is STILL not there and they won't be doing any body work because it's "raining." Nobody bothered calling and nobody told us beforehand that the body work is dependent on weather. She was also rudely told by the sales manager that all of that should have been done before we drove it off the lot and it's not typical policy that they fix things like that after the fact - even though the salesman SPECIFICALLY told me that would be "NO PROBLEM AT ALL" to sell me a vehicle.We also found out the day after we purchased the vehicle that the left side was out of alignment, even though according to their sales people brakes and alignment are checked to be within spec prior to putting the vehcile on the lot (they also refused to fix this and shame on me for not noticing the vehicle pulling on the test drive). How one is supposed to notice alignment on one side of a vehicle being out of spec on a test drive is beyond me unless the vehicle is pulling so badly that you would notice. The ONLY positive I have for this dealership is that the vehicle was fairly priced and they were willing to negotiate a higher trade in value for my vehicle, however, once that part was over they've been nothing short of a disorganized disaster with a serious lack of communication.This is no way to operate a business and I wouldn't trust any of these people. I dealt with nothing less than incompetent jerks after my purchase and there is no way I'll be back to this place for ANYTHING.

There was no pressure to buy anything, no added insurances in the contract that would drive the cost up, no waiting for approvals or information or our salesman, even when we returned a day later with more questions. We traded in a car we did not like for a car we love, which is bigger, yet cost $100 less a month than we'd been paying. Our salesman was so friendly, without being the least bit overbearing or pushy and we are thrilled with our new car, which is now two months old. It was the BEST time we ever had buying a car, and our salesman made us feel like we were his only customer.

This was after I had shopped at one of the neighboring GMC dealerships where I was completely ignored by a salesman who was literally sitting at his desk and more interested in text messaging on his phone than assisting me. My experience at Suburban was uncommonly good from my salesman, finance person, as well as the friendly gal working at the snack counter.

Bought a 2006 Grand Prix on December 30th 2015. As of February 9th 2016, the water Pump ($400) and the Intake Manifold Gasket ($930) are leaking antifreeze. Was told by Mr. Skipper, that's it's normal wear and tear and that I had the car for three months, which is a Lie. I purchased the vehicle on December 30th 2015. Took it to Moran Chevrolet and they found these problems and said whomever put the last Water Pump on, broke the Timing Cover ($830). Got a Bogus Warranty from Caleb that only covers the Water Pump. From start to finish my overall experience was amazing. I had researched the used vehicle I wanted online and e-mailed the dealership inquiring availability. Roman was sales person who called me, so when I went in I specifically looked for him. He was so patient to sit down with me and let me explain my financial situation, and understood that I was only seeking a specific model. He took the time to go over options with me, giving me time to decide if I wanted to try and purchase. Roman pulled the vehicle around and let it warm up before my test drive, as I had my 4 year old daughter with me. He addressed all of my concerns after the test drive, offered a final mechanical inspection with a full tank of gas and gave recommendations for insurance agents while we waited for the finalizing of paperwork. His customer service and incentives reassured me of my purchase, because I had already agreed to buy. He was genuinely personable and great to work with; I didn't feel rushed or pressured at any time. Overall the entire staff were friendly, courteous and welcoming. Would highly recommend.

I have never left this dealer without a purchase. My entire family has been loyal to Ford. I cannot remember anything else. My father retired from Ford Chesterfield Trim, and my brother works at Ford Van Dyke. I have owned ford products myself for the last 30 years. My first car was a ford Grenada in 1984 so this review is painful to write. I have never had such a poor experience as I did Yesterday at Suburban Ford. It made me sick. I was gouged $700 to fix a plastic motor part that you can buy online for about $39. Shame on me for not checking first and trusting the service department. This is a vehicle with 50k on the odometer and the heater blend motor is a know design issue. The service reps would not even make eye contact with me let alone discuss it with me. I wrote a review on their Facebook page and they took it down. Kind of funny but also speaks to their character. Instead of addressing something they ignore it. Hope it will go away. Well I wont go away. They may have stolen 700 bucks from me but that doesn't mean I wont let everyone I can know about it. It costs far more to earn a customer than to keep one. I have a 2002 f150 with 178k on the odometer so a purchase is in my future. There is no way that purchase will happen with Sub Ford. I will continue to write and share my experience with as many as possible to save people from being harmed by this sorry excuse of a dealership.

I took my new vehicle into Suburban Ford (Sterling Heights) for it's first oil change and immediately started to have transmission issues as soon as it left the service department. The service dept. took advantage of TSB (Tech Service Bulletin) and tampered with my transmission in order to submit warranty claims on my vehicle. This is big money for the technicians as they are paid on commission. The dealership had to replace the TCM (Transmission Component) and PCM(Powertrain Component) and my vehicle hasn't run correctly since. It was in the service dept. for over 2 weeks and I had to file a dispute in order to get a rental vehicle out of them.I have no trust in the dealership and if it weren't for them being the only Sat. Service QuickLane in my area, I would go elsewhere. There service dept. is extremely rude and unresponsive to any type of dispute. As a matter of fact, I no longer receive a survey from them because they don't like hearing the truth. BEWARE!

Getting a oil change you are not getting the hard sell on getting work done that you don't need. I learned that from a independent service center. We had the best salesman Joe Franzoni and the team from the credit department, that totally made our purchase a excellent one. As a lot of Michiganders our credit was not what it used to be. We explained how our hardship was a tribute to a accident my husband had on his job. We truly appreciate the way they went to bat for us to get the exact car we wanted. This is our second Ford Escape lease from Suburban Ford and Jeremy Randolph. Jeremy went over pricing and options with us and we felt comfortable with him. The lease turn in and new lease purchase went smoothly with the new payment being very close to the current one with little out of pocket expense to us. Jeremy and his assistant Jessica Watkins followed up with us after the sale which was nice. We will consider Suburban Ford and Jeremy on future Ford purchases.

Personally worked with Nicole Elder which started with a phone call. I expressed wanting to make my car shopping and deal closing in a one time visit due to my distance from the dealership. Nicole made that happen and met the lease terms, mileage, and payment I needed to have. It did take over 3 hours from start to finish but I was dealt with by all the departments in a professional and friendly manner and never felt 'pressured' to consider the 'extras'. The entire experience of getting my new Lease was so extremely positive. My salesperson, Tammy P., was very knowledgeable, professional, and really listened to what I wanted. The entire buying process was efficient and positive. The dealership was extremely clean. My after experience has been positive also. I had to return the car four days after purchasing to get running boards installed. When the service was complete, they had their driver pick me up at my residence and drove me back to the dealership. I wanted to take advantage of Ford's Labor Day financing offer, but had trouble finding a dealership open when I wasn't working. Suburban Ford had the best hours on Saturday! I shopped online to find the specific model and stock ID number that I wanted to test drive. I made an appointment. The car was ready when I arrived, along with a couple other options similar to what I had asked for, for comparison. It ended up I liked one of their recommendations better than my original idea. (I was looking at a manual transmission - for a little fun while driving - Ford Focus. I thought I wanted a Sedan. But after I drove the ST model hatchback, I couldn't have anything else!) I'm so glad they suggested I compare the ST!

I was greeted right away and although my sales specialist was with another customer, I waited no longer than 15 minutes, with a complimentary beverage in hand. My sales specialist went over my needs and showed me available options and incentives. However, my current vehicle trade-in wasn't in MY best interest at the time and he clearly explained that. It wasn't about a commission, it was about making my situation work. My sales specialist was BEYOND professional and very educated with all questions asked. Went in to look at a new Ford F150, just out of curiosity as I was looking at getting into a truck. I told the salesman that I wanted a crew cab, with MyFordTouch, and heated seats and told him how much I'd be willing to pay. Granted I was a little undereducated on the new F150 and wasn't aware how much that would cost with all those options, instead of telling me that they didn't have anything like that in my price range, we looked at a single cab base model truck with ZERO of the features I wanted, albeit being in my price range. We took it out and I made several comments about how nice the new redesign was, but this was still a base model truck and I didn't want to trade in my loaded car for it. When I said "I'll think about it", the sales manager who came out of nowhere kept trying to pressure me into leaving with a truck I didn't even want. Two days later, the salesman called and asked what I wanted to do because the truck is "in my price range", I told him I didn't want to get it because of how bare-bones it was, and he hung up on me in the middle of my sentence. Real professional.

I had looked at and drove a few cars at other dealers prior to finding this one and decided a trip to Suburban on Saturday morning was in order. I recently purchased a used vehicle from Suburban. When the sales man and I were looking over the vehicle I asked about making sure all the lights work. The sales person assured me that at clean-up all the lights would be checked. Shame on me for taking the word of a used car salesman. The first night I drove the car I noticed dash lights not working. I could not have known this as I checked the car out during the day.One of the lights out is for the speedometer I have sent Suburban and the salesman an e-mail. I have not heard a peep from them.

The repairs were done with great care, and there was very timely communication between them, my insurance company, and myself. The repairs on the front end of my car were done completed thoroughly and to where I could drive it safely. Picked up a 2015 Black Mustang from Sal. Sal was very helpful but it took weeks to get my illuminated door sills. When they were installed there was a plastic clip piece that was scratched on the drivers side that WAS NOT SCRATCHED when I took the car in. With that said, I was very satisfied with the sales department (Sal) and not satisfied with the service department. This dealership is also very busy and the customers walking in seem to get well taken care of. I would purchase another car from here.

I purchased a used car from this dealership, and let me tell you I will never go back there. To start it off let me say that they were so interested in selling me the vehicle that I was able to view the car before it had been even cleaned out. The salesman was pulling fast food bags out as he was bringing it around to show me. The car I was inquiring about was not inspected at the time I saw it, guess I should have waited. I was able to "test drive" the vehicle on the lot. There were a few issues with the vehicle that I figured would have been taken care of before delivery, but they were not, the vehicles key fobs did not work, the vehicle needed 4 new tires, I was given 2 and told the others were within requirements, and when I made mention of them replacing any of the items, I was told that they couldn't do it because they were not a Dodge dealer. With the good price on the vehicle I still accepted, as these were only minor issues. I was informed that the vehicle was getting new brakes and an oil change. Now that I have the carfax, the never replaced the brakes, which I will have to do after only owning the car for a few months. I noticed a slight whine from the vehicle, but being as it had been inspected I thought nothing of it. Well, I took my vehicle in for some recall issues to a Dodge Dealer and had them check out the noise. They found that my power steering pump and reservoir were bad. So, I had them get an approval from the service contract I purchased, and it is still costing me over $300 to fix. My final complaint, I was never told anything about the financing, until I was in to sign the paperwork, luckily it was within my budget. I will not deal with them again.

I found a truck of their's online one day and emailed them showing I was interested, within five minutes I received a call from them to get the ball rolling on that truck. No other dealer contacted me back after I contacted them, only Suburban Ford. I was very impressed at how all the employees at Suburban Ford of Sterling Heights treated me when I went to look at cars. They had no idea if I was going to buy a car or not, but they treated me as if I already bought one. My salesman got me the deal I wanted, the finance dept got me the lowest interest rate I have ever seen and even the cashier was nice! They even let me pick what ever I wanted from the on site deli they have for free!. The showroom was very clean and modern and they had the coolest cars and trucks for me to look at while I waited for my salesman. I will definitely send my friends and family and will be back when I am ready for another car.

My last visit to Suburban Ford was for my first free oil change after leasing a new car. I was pleased with everything except the wait. I had come in earlier that week around 4pm on a week day to get an oil change but quickly changed my mind when the wait was 1 hour and 45 min. After being advised to come in at 7 am for little to no wait, I showed up promptly, on my only day off. I wish I would have known that this service would have taken about 2 hours so I could have been prepared with a pillow and catch a few more minutes of sleep. Like I said, everything else was fine and staff was polite as usual. I will continue to visit Suburban Ford.

Between 1975 & 2012, my wife & I have owned 10 GM vehicles. In 2012 I decided I was going to buy an F150. I asked people who had one where they got it. About 1/2 dozen people told me Suburban Ford in Sterling Heights. I made an inquiry on line & Tim O'Connor sent me an email for an appointment. I met with him & an associate salesman. Over the next 4 days & test drives by my wife & I, they found a truck in the color that I wanted. They made the process of buying a new vehicle very easy. Since then I've had it serviced 4 times. I've never had to make an appointment. Just drove in, told them what I've needed & waited for them to do the work. The most I've had to wait while they worked on my truck was 2 1/2 hours & that was for the repair of a tire sensor. Every time I've been to the dealership, the experience has been pleasant. Everyone that works there are polite & will stop to talk to you & to see if you need anything. Because of these things, my wife & I will be buying another car for her at this dealership within the next 9 months.

Not to long ago I became a victim of the Van Dyke construction. I was run of the road and thought that I had destroyed my new vehicle. That was on a Saturday, that Monday I brought the car into the service dept.My wife and I were introduced to the manager, Mike Skeltis. He took my SUV and kept it for 24 hrs. so that he could have the vehicle completely check out. He and his crew were just great and my SUV was returned and I was assured that my vehicle was fine and that I was lucky that their was no damage.

Urgent! Please Read! My name is Denise Harris. I walked in to Suburban Ford on Saturday August 22nd with high hopes of trading in my 2008 Chevy Malibu. The Malibu was my first car ever financed. I was stuck with a 24.99% interest rate and high monthly payments; paying nearly three times more than the actual value of the vehicle. My previous lenders were the most unprofessional, inconsiderate and rudest of them all. Yet and still I continued to pay them on time every month faithfully as required. After over three years of the foolery I was more than ready to drive a new vehicle; for sure one worth paying for. No one ever took me serious and no other dealership had even bothered to take the time and fight for me. I'd just like to take a moment to acknowledge my GREAT representative Matthew Siman. Matthew you've done more than put me in a vehicle. You've given me more hope and most importantly a piece of mind. I left that Saturday with my head hung low; full of tears, feelings of discouragement and disappointment but still with much respect for Matthew because I saw in him all of the effort he was putting in to assist me. I called myself a ride and left my vehicle parked on Suburban's lot Saturday with intentions on picking it up Monday morning. Matthew even insisted on driving me and my seven year old son home. He felt so bad for me and that meant the world to have someone care so much. On Monday August 28th I called Matthew to inform him that I had gathered my composure and I was headed in to pick up the Malibu. Upon my arrival Matthew greeted me with much excitement and confidence. All morning Matthew had been working extremely hard with the Suburban team to find a way out of no way. That Monday I drove home in a 2016 Ford Escape paying only five dollars more than my original monthly payments. Every day since I've thought of Matthew and prayed to my God to bless him beyond the words itself. Matthew is more than deserving of all of the greatness this world has to offer him. Not just with myself but Ive seen the way he interact with others as well. He has a genuine spirit. He wants to help others and his enthusiasm and willingness to work is incredibly outstanding. I wish to interact with more people like Matthew on a consistent basis. Matthew, Job well done! Actually they treat you like you have perfect credit and want to go the extra mile for you. I worked with Aaron on two of the cars i purchased the other one the rep no longer works there. My wife noted that she enjoyed that they don't pressure you. If you don't like something, about your car or service they wont pressure you and try and pitch you into purchasing anyway. Talk about a nice way to spend a couple of hours! We had contacted our salesperson about a specific F-150 prior to our visit for a test drive. He not only had the vehicle ready for the test drive, but had it fully prepped for delivery just in case we were ready to make the deal. We loved the truck, and in a matter of a couple hours we traded in our old vehicle and were on the road home in the new truck. I have been going to the Ford of Sterling Heights dealership for over 20 years. It has changed owners and names over the years, but now that it is run by Suburban, it is always a great experience whenever I take my car in for service. With past owners, it always ended up being a frustrating experience. I really enjoy the fact that they employee women Service Consultants. My most recent visit for an oil change, Jaclyn Camardo, took the initiative to get a transmission tech to look at my car so I wouldn't have to bring it back on another day and take additional time off from work. She even got me out of the service department in less than 3 hours. I was very thankful for her thoughtfulness. They have recently remodeled their service department and the improvements makes for a very a great experience from the time you meet with a Service Consultant until you pick-up your car. An extra perk, they always give my car a wash before returning it to me. I would highly recommend taking your car for service to Suburban Ford of Sterling Heights. It is very refreshing to receive such great customer service!

On June 15, 2015 I received a recall notice regarding my 2015 Fusion that the oil change reminder pop-up message may not properly reset. I called and made an appointment for June 23, 2015. I picked it up the next day and was informed they also performed another service on a recall regarding the power steering assist. There was a waiting period to return my car to me and as a result I was given a card for a free oil change with an apology. When I returned home that day, in my mail was a recall notice regarding the power steering assist. I was happy they were able to perform both at the same time.

I took my Cadillac to this Ford dealer because the every Cadillac dealer in my area wanted $1000 more to replace the timing chains. Suburban Ford did quality work, was very fast to complete the repair and beat the cost by a landslide! The facilities are comfortable and very welcoming. Every staff member I spoke to was very courteous! Every dealership regardless to if its Ford or not, needs to take a lesson from this service manager. Mike Skeltis was very professional and has this shop running as smooth as possible. Ford Motor Company needs to realize what an asset he is and have him train every Ford Dealership on operations across the nation. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome! However, I first tried to call and schedule an appointment, but was told they don't take appointments for an oil change. I "dropped" in, and was told there would be about a 2 hour wait, so I went home and came back on a different day 20 minutes before they opened. One month ago I brought my Mustang (that I had bought here) in for a warranty repair. The service guys took pictures of a small crack and were supposed to send them in to corporate and call me back. Three weeks later I find out that they never sent the pictures in, and they never called me back. I talk to Mike Skeltis and he tells me that "he doesn't care what happened" (exact quote) to those pictures and that I should take my mustang to another dealership for a second opinion. We took our 2013 Flex in for a problem, and while the problem could not be recreated in shop,Samantha was quick to call us and update us as the car was being worked and to let us know we could pick it up. The following day, while shopping, the engine cover under the car came off. Samantha coordinated in-shop and the Service Foreman actually came to me , reviewed the problem and fixed it enough for me to drive the car back to the Dealership. The car was taken right away to the service area and fixed! I was incredibly impressed with the personal care I received today. This outstanding service saved men time and money! I would never recommend or use this ford dealer ever again for a used car. Last year I bought a used far from them with a clean car fax report and inspected by their department. Recently after trying to trade in this car and after $1,000.00's spent on fixing repairs I learned that the car was a Fleet/Rental car and was involved in 2 accidents back in 2012. Contact Carfax and they confirmed that this information was reported to the dealer car fax, but somehow it was not on the one that they showed me at the time of sale. The issues that I have with the car have all been in the front end on the same side as the accident. Reviewing the sales contract there is also no notes about these as well which should always be added on a "As is Sale". Beware and make sure that you pay for your own car fax report before you buy a used car and make sure that they are not showing you a fraudulent one like they showed me. Cars value instantly went down about $8,000.00 because of this new information.

The sales staff are upfront and do their best to get you the best deal. The service department goes out of their way. Both JR and David worked with me to make sure I got the exact vehicle I wanted for the price I had budgeted. We faced a couple of challenges with the purchase that they were able to help me navigate through to ensure my wife got her first ever new car and that it would remain a surprise they were determined to help me achieve. David was great at communicate with me throughout the process and if I had a question that he didn't know the answer to he was always honest and would go seek those answers and follow-up with me right away. I have had plenty of bad experiences dealing with dishonest sales people at other non-Ford dealerships, but this was the complete opposite. Great experience and our first ever Ford purchase was a fantastic one. Even my wife who went into the dealership the next day after I surprised her with the car, spoke very highly of both the dealership and David, she stated that everyone she spoke with was extremely courteous and accommodating.

I purchased my 2004 PT Cruiser in the beginning of June 2015. Within a couple of weeks the battery light came on. Calls to the service department were not satisfactory to my situation...I would have to wait weeks for service. A call to my salesman, Mike Sillinger on Thursday June 25, brought out their best. He told me to bring it in the next day, Friday, June 26th and he would get it fixed. I brought it in and they lived up to their word with a new alternator to solve my problem. My husband and I purchased a 2007 Ford Freestyle limited on Saturday June 20th. We were looking for a reliable car with third row seating for a road trip to Quebec City. We left Sunday afternoon, and as soon as we got across the border and went through a fast food drive through, we started having problems. The car was lunging at low speeds, even when my foot was on the brake, reving up and accelerating forward (and backward when in reverse) of it's own volition, and then it stalled out. After restarting the car it seemed fine, and we continued our trip, everything seemed fine until Tuesday morning. We woke up and tried to start the car, it wouldn't turn over. We didn't understand it since the lights were all off and nothing was left on. We found someone to give us a jump and continued on. We drove about 300 miles, stopped to get gas... car wouldn't turn over, got a jump...ect. decided to come home and call the dealer since we JUST purchased the car. Called this morning (Wednesday) they reassured us that they'd take care of the problem, told us to bring it to the dealer (about 75 miles from our home) and they'd give us a loaner car. We were really appreciative that they were being so accommodating. My husband drove up, and they told us they'd have to keep the car at least 24 hrs and "oops" they were all out of loaner cars. They said they could give him a ride home, and then changed their minds because he lived "too far away". He spoke to a manager, who told him even though we bought the car 3 days ago, the 3 month 3000 mile warranty won't cover what needs to be done but they'd "take care of it" if he would just drive the car we brought up to be serviced home and bring it in again on Friday morning, along with promises of gas money and a free lunch. They didn't give him gas money today for his wasted time/gas driving up 75 miles after being promised a loaner car. So, I don't put much stock in their promises. Also, when we purchased the car we were promised a full tank of gas and a full detail. It had maybe a half a tank and the car was dusty and obviously not detailed. So now the week my husband and I took off work for an enjoyable family vacation, has turned into one giant headache, and our remaining time off will be spent trying to fix a car that went through a "rigorous $1500 inspection" less than a week ago.

Recently I had routine maintenance done on my 2012 Ford Fusion. Much to my surprise the experience was even better than the last maintenance visit. Suburban has done remodeling to their service area. A great routine experience got even better. When you deal with Suburban for maintenance, you aren't put into a "special room" with an overhead speaker system blurring, a vending machine and day old coffee. You are treated as if you are there to spend money on a new car which is very refreshing. You are given a pager and a time frame. They have always beat their estimated time for service. I have been told by my family that I can get service done at any Ford dealer closer to home but I have refused because why would I when I am happy with the service and treatment at Ford Suburban.

We have purchased several new cars at Suburban Ford over the last few years and are always completely satisfied. Our salesman, Tim O'Connor is always helpful and knowledgeable. He goes out of his way to make sure everything is perfect- and sets up and explains the features for us. The finance people explain all the options, but are not pushy. I have always felt welcomed, but never pressured. Suburban Ford has an outstanding selection of vehicles, even the harder to find models like Raptors and Shelby Mustangs. It has a great, modern showroom and is open Saturdays. The only thing that could be improved in my opinion is the parking- a little chaotic getting in and out sometimes.

The process was smooth and easy. My wife and I went in the day before to test drive a couple vehicles that interest us. We were able to drive several car's, with out being hassled. They didn't try to sell us what they wanted us to buy. When I came back a day or two later they had us on the road in about an hour. The car was detailed in and out, with a full tank of gas.

This dealership was recommended to me by a friend and encouraged me to give Surburban Ford a chance before returning to a Dodge dealership. To please him, I decided to try Surburban and from the first moment I entered the door, I was warmly welcomed and assigned a salesman. The guy, Anthony was young and I was somewhat reluctant to go with him since I consider myself "a veteran and tough" buyer. However Anthony was wonderful. He answered my very many questions and went through everything I was looking for and his inventory. Anthony stated, if the vehicle I wanted was not on their lot, he would find it at another dealership. That was not necessary and I found a great Escape with the options I wanted. Getting to the payment level I wanted to stay within was worked on and ultimately reached. I could not have asked for a more positive, pleasant and professional sales experience. Jim Elder the manager offered any assistance and also assured me he would do whatever he could possible to help me find the right purchase for me. I have 2 Ford vehicles that I bought at Surburban Ford and take them there for regular maintenance. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. Everyone works really hard to make sure the service experience is a positive as well as pleasant one. This is true whether it is late on a Monday night or early on a Saturday morning. I first spoke with Jon Lease over the phone to get lease rates. My wife and I were clear that we did not have any current leases, Ford or their competitor. Jon gave us a monthly rate of $200 which was enough for me to stop in and look at the car. When we got there, Jon was pleasant and arranged for us to drive a vehicle. When we returned we sat down and he worked up the price. This time the price was $266 per month. When i told him that he had given me a price of $200 (even when we reminded him that in our phone call we told him we had no current lease) he commented that the rate he quoted over the phone included a Ford Lease Loyalty discount We then made a comment something to the effect of "did he always give low numbers to get people in and then give them the real higher numbers." His comeback was a comment like :"yeah he did." When my wife commented that this practice was awful, under his breath but loud enough for us to hear he said, "Yeah, Awful." A few more words were said with regard to this being a common practice for him and which he didn't deny and pretty much affirmed that this was the way he operated - he just stood up and walked away without saying anything. Needless to my wife and I weren't pleased (understatement)! We then left the dealership and bought a competitive product. In the future I will certainly think twice about returning to Suburban Ford and will not, under any circumstance, deal with Jon Lease as his manner was very unprofessional.

All the sales and service people were great! This was our first time coming this far for a vehicle as we are from Grand Ledge, MI, but we were instantly greeted and the car we wanted was pulled up and ready for a test drive. The only issue that we ran into was the fact that not everything was checked before we bought the car upon inspection from our mechanic, so just make sure everything is thoroughly inspected before you purchase.

This is the 2nd used car I bought from this dealer. The reason I bought another used car from Suburban Ford was since I bought my last car I have had zero problems with it since the purchase. When I bought the car it had 55,000 miles on it, now it has 137,000 and it drives just as good as the day I bought it. The sales woman told me "this is the best car (Ford 500) we have on the lot" and now I still believe her to this day. All I can say is thank you and I will call again.

I believe when you find a good salesman you should stick with him, for the last 10 to 15 years, Joe Fanzoni is that man for me. Joe has always given me the best price for my trade-in than any other dealership would offer. I bought a 2015 Ford Escape here. The salespeople were great, and gave me the best deal for my trade in for my old Escape. The facility is state of the art, and very comfortable. Unfortunately, after having the car less than 90 days, a sensor in the ABS went bad. While the Ford Motor Company may not have the best quality control these days, Suburban Ford quickly fixed the sensor, and showed they have the customer's back.

MY husband was in a car accident and we lost our 2nd car this was just a few days before we were leaving to go out of town for weekend. We drove about an hour to look at a vehicle we saw on line. We are told it has to be put through safety inspection so we wait til next day when we find out its not going to pass and they are not planning to sell it. Then were told they have another vehicle for us and it needs some work done . They are able to get the work done and we happily left that night with a 2002 explorer which we drove to ohio for the weekend. The entire staff we came in contact with was fantastic and we will be driving the hour the next time we need another vehicle.

I felt very comfortable and welcomed from the moment I walked into Suburban Ford Dealership. The whole experience (door-to-door) was very pleasant and professional. I was greeted the moment I walked in, I was directed to my salesman, and within minutes I was driving the vehicle I would later that day take home. I was offered not only complimentary beverages while I waited but also a free lunch. I was driven to-and-from my accountant while they installed my auto-start, with minimal wait time. My visit was followed up with calls from the dealership, the manager, and my salesman to see how my visit went, and I even received a birthday card. One day I was having a "senior moment", I accidentally hit a switch in my vehicle and didn't know what to do, after failing to find it in the manual, I called Suburban Ford and within minutes a live person was on the phone helping me with my problem. I purchased a 2005 Ford Explorer on 4/29/15. I was immediately greeted in the parking lot by an employee who asked if I was looking for someone. When I told the employee I was looking for Zack Simpson, he walked me into the waiting area and asked if I would like a beverage and went to get Zack.Zack met me shortly after and wanted to show me the Explorer. At the time, the Explorer was on the lift in the garage area. Zack was still able to have me take a look the vehicle and the mechanic, who was also very helpful and welcoming, lowered the vehicle so I could get a better look.I only had to wait a minimal amount of time before the Explorer was ready for a test drive. It drove very well and we started on the paperwork. It was getting late in the day and I didn't have the title for my trade in. Jeff Bartlett and Zack said it wasn't an issue and to drive to the Secretary of State Office to have one issued. When I returned, it was after 5:30 and the dealership was closing at 6. I never felt I was being rushed or that I was a bother to anyone. We completed the paperwork and Zack insisted to help me out with transferring my personal items from my trade in to the new vehicle.It has been 7 years since I have purchased a vehicle. Due to the wonderful experience I had, I will be returning to here to purchase any future vehicles. Before I picked it up they serviced the truck and put all new brakes front and rear on it. Even having challenged credit they were able to sell me the truck I wanted within my payment range. It's really hard to find a negative thing to say about Suburban Ford when they are at the top of the class in every catagory. The showroom is state of art, their service department is well organized, and they usually have my car washed before they give it back to me after an oil change. I was overdue for an oil change and finally got around to it late on a Saturday afternoon. I was concerned I was too late for the day, but from the moment I pulled to the service door my experience was unlike any other I've experienced. I was greeted by friendly people who assured me they'd get me in. I was handed a pager and directed to a beautiful lounge with a restaurant..Mandy Simon (new car sales) greeted me in the lounge and absolutely wowed me. Her enthusiasm is contagious. She was interested in what I drove and why. She knew everything about my truck. She spent time with me knowing I wasn't buying that day, but made sure that I was excited about my next F-150 and couldn't wait to tell me about all the new features and upgrades! She has that "it" factor that's hard to explain. She made me feel like the most important customer Suburban has ever had. I can not wait to buy my next vehicle from her! I walked out to the service area and my truck had been washed and the guy walks me to my door explaining everything that was done and checked. He hands me my keys and says that he hopes the visit went better than I expected. It certainly did.I don't normally take time to complete surveys, but this one was worth the time. We stopped at suburban Ford to look at the new 15 escapes. we still had 3 months left on our 12 Mazda5. we were greeted by Eddie and told him our needs. We spotted a sunset escape in the showroom. My wife is partial to white vehicles,but fell in love with the sunset color. We do a lot of traveling throughout the year,so cargo space is foremost on our minds. I always carry a rule with me so I started measuring the cargo area. To my suprise I found the area to be as large or even a little bigger. We some times go for 2 months at a time so we need as much space as we can get. We settled on the Titanium with every option available and came in cheaper than the Mazda. was impressed with the handling of the Mazda, but the escape has blown me away. We are now on our first trip in Branson on the way we came through 100 miles of white out conditions, the four wheel drive was exceptionable. We had a cartop carrier on and still met mileage rating in a blizzard. I'm so glad we stopped at Suburban Ford and met Eddie. Jim Menig

We won't go anywhere else. They have always treated all buyers in our family with respect and Lots of patience. They never pressured us in any way. They just want you to be comfortable with your choices. The warranty we purchased on our Edge was worth every dime. We pull the Edge in and they take care of everything. They even wash the vehicle before giving it back (except for once when they moved into a temporary bldg). The place is Clean and doesn't smell like bleach. This dealership rates with more than 5 stars. Check it out for yourself.

I purchased an Escape from the dealership. Since it was around the end of 2014 model year, the vehicle with the specific color/options I was looking for was hard to find. Because I got a notification from Suburban Ford that I could turn in my EDGE early, I took advantage of the program that allowed me to do that. Dave and Lisa Elder helped me pick out the right car for me....a lovely Fusion SE. Over a 3 day period Dave exhibited extreme patience with me, getting cars to look at and drive. The quality of repairs has been excellent. The Quick Lane oil service is done while I wait and the price is less than Uncle Ed's or Jiffy Lube.

I have had my 2010 Escape serviced routinely at Suburban Ford Sterling Heights since I purchased it. Service in most cases was quick and efficient unless extensive work was necessary. Most recently I brought it in for a routine oil change and also had the front brakes replaced. Very pleased with service and workmanship. Also having a shuttle service was very convenient as I was transported home and picked up later. The Service Center Staff go out of their way to make the customer feel appreciated and the service visit a pleasant one.
