Spoke with Joey on the phone 11/12/16 regarding a 10' Acura MDX they had listed which was previously listed by their Mercedes dealership for $14,000. I had emailed regarding the vehicle when it was listed at that time but did not get a reply. Now it was listed for $15,600 a few days later, with identical photos but from their Suburban Honda Dealership. When I spoke to Joey I explained this and he eventually admitted to the price change and agreed to honor it. I submitted an inquiry regarding trade in value out of curiousity and now I am told the price is no longer valid.... Don't appreciate the lack of professionalism or tone in the emails/phone calls. I wanted to pass along this experience so people know what can be expected at this dealership. I will move on to other options.

I had received an invitation letter from Suburban Honda about an Upgrade event. So, I called the used car dealership asking if I could sell my car since I had bought it from them. I had also put in 160,00 miles, with all the required maintenance, with newly installed tires and battery. I was told by their service department, that they would buy my car anytime because of having done all the required service in a timely manner. I thought this would be good time for me to sell my old car and buy a new one. But I wanted to make sure that I would get a reasonable price for it first, rather than do a direct trade-in. So, I called the dealership and a person by the name of Andrew answered my call, he told me bring in my car in for appraisal. When I drove all the way to the dealership(it took me 40 mins to get there from work), he asked me if I was ready to sell the car on the spot without quoting a price. His tone was bordering on arrogance. I told him that I needed an appraisal first before coming to a decision. He then took my Title Registration to his manager as if he was doing me favor and he came back with a response that they were not interested, without even looking at my car! They wasted my gas and my time. This was terrible customer service. They could have handled this better. I was totally dissatisfied with their attitude, having been a loyal customer of theirs for so many years. Also, they should not have sent me that invitation if this was how they were going to treat me. After this experience, I have decided that I will never ever step into that car dealership again. I decided to go to Honda Bloomfield, where they were very sensitive, courteous and gave me an appraisal (wasn't much though). But I was treated much better with respect and I eventually sold my car to them. I plan on buying a new car from them. I strongly recommend Page Honda Bloomfield Dealership to anyone planning on selling/buying their car or even getting their car serviced. They are way better than Suburban Honda, when it comes to customer service based on the recent and past interactions I have had with them.

My wife and I have bought and leased many vehicles in our life together and before we met. We both agree worst experience ever. First the salesman had two other deals going at the same time. Not ok, if he was that tied up he should never been the the one talking to me. We liked the truck, and other then a question about every 20 to 30 mins. Never saw him, then after 2 1/2 hours of being there the finance guy shows up with paper work in hand. It was not a matter of my credit I assure you that. It is excellent, he rushes us though the paper work because they were closing. 2 1/2 hours and I have to come back the next day to pick up the car. NEVER go here for a car if this is how they do business, emailed the sales manager after HE emailed me to ask how it went NEVER heard back.

I bought a certified preowned 2013 CRV from this sub urban Honda Farmington hills dealership., both of sales representatives - Joey demerit and Andrew Keller were so rude, arrogant and non polite ., I had a very worst response and did not get clarify for any of queries during my purchase ..Initially I thought I had a very good deal but later realized it's a crap deal and this certified vehicle is not trust worthy.. Once I bought the vehicle looking on service record got shocked by looking on front brake pads showing 6mm which is half way worn out(supposed to get it replaced) the new brake pads should be 11 mm and lot of paint scratches noticed later when I kept it on my garage. When I talked to Karl and Joey did not get proper response and they said they would replace when the brake pads are 5mm.. The vehicle I bought from this dealer ship is 6mm.. Though I did fully paid off without finance did not get any free bies like other dealerships nothing I got it from this dealership (not even a key chain) except the horrible experience with those two sales representatives (Joey and Andrew)., on the whole I am not happy with my purchase.. If I got the chance to return this crap certified vehicle I would go ahead and do it., I would not recommend any of my friends/relatives/colleagues to this untrustworthy - suburban Honda Farmingtonhills dealership

Buying a new car is always a headache so when you have a salesman who is knowledgable and straight to the point in finding the car that you need, it is a big deal! Joey Demilio is that guy!! I have never had such a great experience buying a car and could not be happier with my new Honda Civic. He listened to what I wanted in a new car and helped me decide on the perfect one for me without dragging the process out. Thank you Joey!! I've NEVER enjoyed dealing with car dealerships... until 2007, when we leased our first Honda from Joey Demilio at Suburban Honda. He was so friendly, knowledgeable, and NOT pushy that we leased a SECOND Honda from him that same day. Yesterday, my wife and I leased our seventh Honda from Joey, and we will continue returning to him as long as we can!

I see another person on here had a similar experience at a Suburban dealership. Bought an 2005 Acura RL at the Honda dealership but they told me I actually was buying it from Acura. That's weird right. I called on the car on a Thursday & the salesman said it wouldn't be ready until Saturday, said the car was being serviced & getting a 100 point inspection. I though great its being checked out real good. In the mean time the salesman is pushing me to buy the car that day(Saturday), when can you pick up the car? There's other people who want to look at it. I called service on Monday all they did was change the oil & wipers. It took 3 days to do that. I asked him if the timing belt was done & he said the person that traded it in said it was done, but he never got a copy of the billed from them? He tried texting her he said & she was not responding. I should have walked right there. The car had 104,000 miles on it but it was so dam clean inside & out I had to buy it. After all it is a Honda right! I decided to buy an extended warranty 25/25,000 mi. ($1100). Well good thing or so I thought. Well it needs service 4 months after I bought it. Rack & pinion is leaking & the driveshaft has a bad bearing (100 point inspection ay) which both would be covered. So I call the dealer rep that sold me the warranty & guess what, sorry the warranty was never registered, but they took my money though! Two days later I received the contract & signed it, FedEx it back. She then told me I was going to have to wait a month to file a claim per the contract. But Its already been 4 months! Well let me check to see if they can fix this she said! Week 2 no answer. Scam, scam, scam. ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS MOVING CARS! WHAT A NIGHTMARE! Time for my attorney to take over. Don't do it!!!!!!!!

Great experience again with Joey! They had lots of choices. Joey was smart and clear what I had in my mind. No fuss, Walk in and out in less than 2 hours, could be earlier if we didn't forget the title and spare key.. But we drove home with a brand new car!! Got attentions and comments everywhere we went. All the agants were friendly and knowledgable. We will shop there again. Worth driving from Ann Arbor area. Absolutely Better dealership! Karl, the finance manager negotiated with HQ? to close my case. I had to owe the remaining balance to my 2years old civic.. But we wanted CR-V and we love it!! Not a good idea to trade in this soon but Great feeling when I ended up putting less money down and almost same payment price. Thank you so much for his efforts!! And he remembered us from a few years back sale with them. It was a total package of great customer service experience.

Wouldn't recommend buying from their used cars. Worst experience I have ever had buying a used car. They forged the multi point inspection checklist that said everything on the car checked out and was good. Sold me a car with bent rims and Walmart tires On a Cadillac and then tried to charge me when they gave me another set of bent wheels with bad tires. Michelin exchanged my bad tires suburban Honda tried to sell me for $200. After spending $27k here they tried to squeeze more pennies out of me instead of worrying about retention and referrals. Don't buy from their used lot without taking it to a mechanic you can trust because Sean and Mike here fake reports just to get a sale. Very dissatisfied.

I have taken my Honda to their service department twice now for simple issues. The first time for an oil change. Before I could get the car home the warning light came on and I had to turn around and go back. Thinking this was an isolated incident I returned, this time for an oil change and tire rotation. Again, before I could get my car home after the service was completed the low tire pressure warning light came on. By this time the service department was closed so I had to be there when they opened the next morning. If they cannot be trusted to complete simple services like oil changes and tire rotation with out problems why would you trust them with larger issues. I will not go back.

The people working in this dealership don't know anything about business. They will ask you for totally unnecessary documents and then say no need for that!! Raj Pillai is a very inconsiderate and arrogant person who thinks that he is doing you a favor by just talking to you.They hid a scratch on the car that they wanted to sell it to us but it showed when the car was washed.

He showed no hesitation to try out different color cars on a cold snowy day and take a look at the all cars in stock as we wanted. We took some time before purchasing this vehicle, however he always showed full interest every time we came to visit.Marvin provided exceptional customer service and so is the lady in finance section. This is my second vehicle I've purchased from Suburban Honda. Derrick was great to work with. My biggest qualm is the amount of time I spent waiting though. I waited a half hour after I arrived the first day to talk about the car and this continued the next day when I wanted to negotiate, and when I was ready to buy. Too much waiting.I don't like salesmen very much but Derrick did a great job working with me to get me the car I wanted (2013 Honda Crosstour EX-L) at an agreeable price. He let me have as much time as I needed to drive, inspect, and overall feel comfortable with my purchase. I can't recall who helped me with financing but that process also went very smooth. I did purchase the windshield treatment at a discounted rate since I was trying not have any add-ons. I would highly recommend it, it's great in the rain.Suburban Honda is a bit out of my way but they've been able to supply me with two great Hondas now. I will definitely come back in the future.

Jeremiah Smith was extremely helpful throughout the whole 2016 CR-V car buying process and provided my wife and I with exceptional customer service. He was very knowledgable about the car and patiently answered all of our questions in a friendly and courteous manner. However, I thought at the time that my purchase of the Tire & Road Hazard Service policy and the Diamond-Fusion Windshield Treatment and also the Interior Protection policy were overly expensive. I now regret that I didn't try to negotiate a lower price for them from the Business Manager, Joseph Janosky III. However that's my fault, not theirs.

Our family moved here a few years back. We needed a reliable car that we could still drive long after we've paid it in full. Back where we came from, we had a car that was as old as my younger son (mid 20's) and it still runs. We knew which brand to buy. We walked into Honda Suburban and test drove a Honda Pilot. Steve Nowel was very helpful. No pressure, just answered our questions. He helped with all the needed papers and even with getting a financing. We drove home the Pilot. That was almost three years ago. 2016 Feb, our second car broke on us. We needed a car, but not quite ready to buy another one. We walked in to Honda Suburban, looked for Steve and told him what we needed - An affordable yet reliable car, and one that we could drive with confidence even with the snow in Michigan. A leased Honda CRV came home with us that day. Again, Steve was helpful and straight forward.

August '15: Stopped in to this dealership to check out the CRV. Derrick Kyser showed me CRVs from three different model years (2015, 2014, 2013). Test drove them all evening long (after Derrick washed each one). I was seriously looking to buy but still researching different car choices. After my visit Derrick followed up with just one text message indicating his availability and desire to help me find the right Honda. Fast forward to Dec. '15 - when I finally decided to focus my car search on a certified CRV EX-L. Checked out several cars at different Honda dealerships online, but those dealers were not close to my home. Text Derrick about one specific CRV in their inventory - he quickly responded he was available to meet me at the dealership the following evening. Upon arrival I was disappointed to learn my first choice was sold (and also disappointed to learn this dealer's online inventory was a bit out-of-date) but the second CRV Derrick recommended I test drive was a low mileage, certified 2012 model. I was pleasantly surprised I liked it - and it has since worked out to be a solid replacement for my 2004 Saturn Vue. I liked that Derrick understood my driving needs and respected my financial limits. But... what I didn't see the need for was to be introduced to his manager - why on earth do salesmen still do this to motivated buyers? Anyhoo - I now have a great car to drive and enjoy, and it's my hope that future service visits to this dealership will be positive, as mentioned by many of the other reviews on Suburban Honda.

I got oil change done for my vehicles and it was very nice experience. I was given estimate of work and job was finished timely, multi point inspection was also done with car wash. Will come back again for major maintainance jobs and other repair needs.

I walked to lease a new crv, was met by Todd Lopez who was extremely professional and knowledgeable and understanding and helpful, later was joined by his manager Raj who was very polite and practical, they did not try to discredit my info as they found out that I did my homework very well, nor did they try to push their deal on me, I was very impressed with their respectful attitude and curtious demeanor. I walked out with a great deal, I highly recommend Todd and Raj, they were extremely impressive, thank you suburban honda you have a customer for life, I will recommend them to all my friends and relatives.

I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone, they have excellent staff to make your car buying and financing experience a breeze. I am very pleased with our sales person Mike Siwicki, he showed us about 5 cars and we test drove 2 cars, he patiently answered all questions that we had. Also, he was willing to show us cars with more interior color choices. We are also very thankful to Raj Pillai who worked out a win win deal and great financing options. So, this is what happened to me.I called this dealership and received confirmation from Andrew Keller (and his manager, whose actual name was never mentioned through this whole thing) that the car I was interested in would be be sold to me at the loan amount that I was approved for.I work at a major university hospital and don't have a lot of time to waste going back and forth with broke car salesmen on car prices! I went in the next day and test drove the car I was interested in. After the test drive Andrew Keller tried to pressure me into buying this car for a $1000 more than I could afford, a $1000 more than my loan was approved for, and $1000 more than what we (him and his manager) agreed upon in previous communications. When he didn't succeed in forcing the higher price on me (I am really not that person), he then tried to sell me a Honda Civic! I told him I wasn't interested in a Honda Civic, and we had already agreed on a price for the other car, a Toyota Camry, the evening before. I also told him he was wasting my time and I had to go back into work (considering I took the morning off to buy this car). He then told me to leave! Very un-professionally!So be prepared when you go to this dealership. All the tacky 'low brow' used car salesman techniques are in full swing here. It will be funny when I see their usual generic response to people writing about this issue. Update: So as you can see I received the automatic response generated from their system below. I emailed the Tim/Tom Tharp guy (just to see what would happen)and this general sales manager guy never responded.

Purchased a 2009 Cadillac CTS and after the deal was done , I notice the front bumper needed clips. I was told by Mr.Smith I should've looked before I purchased the car, now I'm responsible for any repairs. Any dealership I used in the past dealing in sales have just put the clips on! Nothing major just clips.

I had never purchased a car from a dealership before, and I was hesitant to do so due to a lack of knowledge on my part. I am not a car guy, and did not have time to do any research, as my car had become undrivable that morning (the drivers seat had fallen through the floor of the vehicle). I needed a new car, and quickly, so I called. Mr. Quick assured me that he would do everything he could to get me in something that day, and set me at ease.I was surprised when I saw Mr. Quick, as it was obvious that he was significantly younger than I had thought while speaking to him on the phone. His professional demeanor and confidence belayed his youth, and to be frank, I was set much more at ease once I realized he was a young man, as opposed to someone who had been selling cars for a long time. His conversations with both personal and honest, and I at no time ever doubted his authenticity or his ability. When I asked him a question that he did not know the answer to, he responded honestly and then made every attempt to discover the answer, which was refreshing, as I deal with many people who are afraid to admit when they do not know something. I am very happy with my visit and would recommend Jonathan Quick to my friends. Thank you.

I had my last car serviced at Suburban Honda for over ten years, and the service department wasexceptionally helpful. So when my 16 year old Honda needed extensive repairs and could not be driven, I started car shopping at Suburban. I hadn't anticipated needing a car, and I had no idea what I wanted. I test drove a least five different vehicles at this dealership and visited several other dealerships as well. My sales person, Marvin Wilson, was aware of what I was doing, and despite my uncertainty, he was always responsive to my needs and requests. He took the time to listen to me, and he gave me complete and helpful answers to my many, many questions. Moreover, he never lost patience with me or made me feel rushed in any way. Suburban Honda was by far the most helpful dealership I worked with. They went out of their way to help me get through the process, even letting me keep my old car on their lot while I shopped. This went above and beyond anything that I would normally expect. I recommend this dealership without reservation. In particular, I recommend Marvin Wilson in sales and Bob Spurgeon in service. Both of them are outstanding.

The sales person I worked with a pleasure to deal with. Andrew listened to what I wanted, wasn't bossy & entertained my assessment of what I was willing to pay. He explained the new features when I picked up my vehicle & told me to call if I had any other questions. The dealership is clean, including the bathrooms, waiting area & service area. My one complaint was with the hard sell by the person trying to sell me an extended warranty protection program. The man will not take "No" for an answer & kept harassing me! He turned what should have been a pleasant experience into an unpleasant one. Beware & walk out of his cubicle sooner than I did. I still bought my vehicle there because of Andrew, my sales person.

We were trying to look for a better deal so we decided to give Suburban Honda a try. We spoke with an agent named Mike Siwicki who was nice and helpful. However, while trying to work out a deal, he needed his manager for approval. The manager named Raj Pillai was more interested in criticizing us than making a deal. He was rude, nasty, and arrogant. He was completely unprofessional in his tone and demeanor. I was completely surprised that a manager whose job was to ensure customer satisfaction acted in such a manner. My expectations of a manager were surely not met. Out of all the managers I've interacted with from the Honda dealerships, he was the only one that was not accommodating. I would like to say thanks to Mike for trying his best to help us out.

From the moment I pulled up to the dealership I was impressed. The showroom was clean and bright, and well arranged, without a sense of crowding. I was immediately approached by a number of salesman, then found myself being assisted by Jeremy Smith. He was articulate, personable, and seemed to be genuinely interested in helping me find just the right car. At no time did I feel as though I was being pursued. He pointed out features that I might find most attractive and dealt with my concerns and questions very well. Because I had also looked at another brand, he encouraged me to test drive the other car, just to be sure. When I was ready to buy, he, with Raj Pillai, helped me to get the best deal on the best car, (and come in under my "secret" price goal). All details were all fully and carefully explained. Joe Janosky made very sure I understood the various terms available as well as dealer options and was quite candid about the ones I didn't really need. Even though such a large purchase is inherently stressful, I can truthfully say my experience was very close to fun. And I never felt as though I was being pushed to buy.

I was the owner of a 2013 Ford Fusion. I came into Surburban Honda interested in purchasing a car, after doing extensive research, that was smaller than the Fusion, provided better gas mileage, and delivered the longevity I was seeking in a purchase. This was contingent on receiving the Blue Book Value of my car (I planned to sell it-not trade it in). I also had a specific color, features I wanted in a year-end 2016. Joey D'Emilio was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He was able to quickly locate the exact car I was looking for at Surburban Honda. He then went a step further and asked how much I was asking for my Fusion. I told him and he indicated Suburban is always looking for great quality used cars. My Fusion was immediately looked at and my asking price was met. This saved me countless hours selling it on my own. I will recommend this dealership and specifically Joey D'Emilio to everyone I know.

It was an easy process with excellent service. The price was fair market value. Financing was easy to get with good credit. 7 years/100,000 miles warranty (bumper to bumper) was not included. What was listed on the ad was only for certain parts of the engine or transmission.

I came in for scheduled maintenance as well a brake rotor issue. Staff was quick to check the vehicle, inform me of the issue and pricing, schedule the shuttle van. I expected to be without the car all day, and instead was back in my car in 2 hours. Pricing was very reasonable, compared to what I have come to expect from other dealers.

Several years ago I visited this dealership with the intention of buying a Honda CRV. My experience was less than satisfactory and I bought the vehicle from a different Honda dealership. Since I was in the market for another vehicle and Suburban Honda is close by, I visited again and had a much more pleasant experience. I had the pleasure of working with Mike Siwicki, a very competent and pleasant sales associate. He was thorough, relaxed and not "pushy". He made the buying experience quite easy and smooth. No surprises, no pressure. I did a great deal of research both on the vehicle I wanted to purchase and the one I was trading in. I felt that Mike and the dealership gave me very fair prices on both ends. I don't know about other sales associates at Suburban, but I would definitely endorse and recommend Mike Siwicki. Mr. Spurgeon answered my questions about what maintenance work my Civic needed. He did not push unnecessary maintenance work at me. He also ordered a small part (sun visor clip) that I needed to replace a clip that broke one sub-zero morning. It's a small thing, but not having the clip was a daily frustration.

I wanted a newer vehicle to cut down or eliminate repairs cost of the current car I had. No sales person offered me any options ie leasing or vehicle that I could afford with my budget. I observed a used vehicle and eventually financed the vehicle. Doing the financing process I was given several different monthly payments and was advised that the actual amount couldn't be known until signing for the vehicle. The dealership added other cost such as interior protection. This wasn't my first time financing a vehicle and trading a vehicle, but it definitely was not a good experience. I will no longer purchase/finance another vehicle from any Suburban dealership.

The prices of extra protection proposals were high initially, but later was reduced to lure us. Don't understand what is a real price? I made an online appointment to have my airbag replaced on 5/23/15 and showed up promptly at that time only to be told there was nothing in their system for this appointment. However, they agreed to do the service anyway and two hours later I left with a replacement airbag inflaterr. I visited Suburban Honda for a routine Oil change on Saturday, 5/9/15... The first sign that this was not going to be a routine visit was when I ask my service adviser, David J, about what would it take to update my navigation system (time, cost, etc). You see, the other day I received a coupon in the mail stating that if I updated the system before July, I would get a discount. David stated, a) he don't know how long it will take ("... it could be 2hr. It could be 4hrs...") and b) "..In the past, the systems that Suburban upgraded, did not work well.." I was thinking to myself, I'm not sure what this guys motives were, but he just brought my confidence level in Suburban down to zero. So, after that conversation I took my seat in the lounge. Approximately, 45mins later David approached me and stated that a nail was found in my rear driver side tire. It is not repairable and must be replaced. He assured me that they have the tire in stock. Naturally, I complied. and $240.00 later my car was complete (cost included oil change). As I approached my freshly washed car I noticed the new tire did not match the other three tires. When I ask David and another adviser, why the difference, they both assured me the mismatch is fine. They stated that Michelin had discontinued the Primacy 225/R60 15 tire and the Latitude tour was it's replacement. I said ok and left. I immediately called Michelin and they confirmed the discontinued tire. But they was concerned about the mismatch.That was a no no for a 4 wheel drive car. Michelin stated that they will call Suburban and see why they allowed the mismatch and if they will honor a warranty.. Michelin stated that they spoke to "Bob" and he did not know what they was talking about. Since my tires were still under warranty Michelin was able to give me a credited discount on three additional tires to match the one Suburban replaced. Now I have matched tires. My biggest issue with David is his lack of understanding of the basics on keeping a costumer. I'm not sure if he's new but he should have, at the very least, informed me that I will be getting a mismatched tire. I had to set aside time during the week to fix that mistake. And, he convinced me not to have Suburban do the upgrade on my navigation system.

I have been to a few Honda service dealerships and I always keep Surburban as my home shop. From the minute I walk in, I am greeted, either for immediate support or a smile and "I'll be right with you". I always am acknowledged. I like how the complete history of my vehicles is just a click away. From my current Accord to my 11 year old Civic (yes, I still have it as a second GREAT car). Everything is explained, options are offered to either have the service done this time or next if it is not immediately necessary. And I really like the 21 point FREE inspection on every visit. The service people are great and very gracious. Never a bad experience.

The ease of making the appointment was the first positive. I like that I actually got an appointment within a day. Then once I got to the dealership I was met at my car by Sarah. She was super friendly and helpful. She worked with me in getting the service needed for my vehicle giving helpful suggestions that I greatly appreciated. Then on to the waiting area which was a definite plus. It seems like that wouldn't matter but having a clean, airy, comfortable location to wait is nothing short of nirvana. Seriously!! My experience with Suburban could be summer up in 2 words--VAN KNOX! I have never met a salesman who provided such wonderful customer service. He has the ability to provide all the information needed to make a sale but does it without being "pushy" or "obnoxious" (which has been my experience in the past with other salesman and dealerships other than Suburban). This is my second Honda and I will definitely return when it is time to do business again. It also helped when he texted me a picture of "my CRV" when I was trying to make a decision. He stole me from CHEVY as I was headed there to purchase a vehicle, and was persistent in providing updates on our negotiations. Thanks Van! We love our CRV!

I wanted to take a moment to compliment and THANK Jeff, who works in service for being so observant and for being so nice.I am leasing a brand new 2015 Honda Fit (which I love). Picked it up on Jan 22nd...went and bought new floor mats (wait, you are gonna love it), the last day I had used it was January 26th and on January 31st went to start my BRAND NEW CAR and it wouldn't start.I waited to call for a jump because the car was home, in our garage and the weather was so bad that I figured others deserved a jump before me.Got it jumped yesterday (Feb 10) and drove it over to Suburban thinking I needed to have it checked.Pulled in, Jeff came out to look at it...he sat in the car and it wouldn't start.He looked closely, said "wait a minute" and moved the front floor mat.GUESS WHAT? IT WAS MY FAULT! Not the car's!I didn't put the floor mat in properly and since I drive a stick, the clutch wouldn't go all the way down due to the floor mat being in the way.I was BEYOND embarrassed. To Jeff's credit, he NEVER LAUGHED! He was so kind, telling me it could have happened to anyone.I am grateful he was so observant and solved the problem INSTANTLY without the having to be serviced.So, the next time your NEW car doesn't start.........CHECK YOUR MATS!!THANK YOU JEFF for being so kind!

This is the best service department at any dealership I have ever used -- they are friendly, helpful and willing to take the time to identify exactly what the problem is. When I had a problem with my audio, and the handsfree link company gave them a partial solution, they were willing to sit in my car with me and figure out exactly how to correct the issue with a solution if it happens again -- PRICELESS service!!! They are so wonderful, that when we went to buy a used car for our sixteen year old son, this is where we went.

This is the dealership where I purchased my car and the only place where it has been serviced. The workmanship is reliable. Service representative listens to problems regardless of their magnitude, from major big to something as small as a lost CD. They head off problems before they are crippling. Have no complaints about this dealership and when I purchase another Honda it will be from Suburban Honda leaving them to do the maintenance exclusively. My daughter is also a customer of Suburban Honda who exclusively relies on Suburban Honda to service her civic.Excellent dealership/excellent service.

I have had my car for about 5 months and it recently notified me that it needed service, a "B1" service to be specific. After researching what a "B1" service would entail I began calling different Honda dealerships and getting quotes (sn: I have always done basic maintenance on my cars but since purchasing this vehicle which is by far the newest car I have ever owned I decided to leave service and repairs to the professionals). Long story short every Honda service center I called quoted me anywhere from $145 w/ coupon to $165 for a "B1" service plus I had to book an appt 48 hours ahead of time. I was referred to Suburban Honda in Farmington Hills yesterday and decided to call them. I spoke to a Jeff who not only told me I could come in that same day but it would only cost $99 for the service, talk about winning! I hung up and within 20 minutes I was at the dealership my car was in the bay with the hood up and work had began. The best part was not just the excellent service I recieved from Jeff but turned out the service wasn't even $99 but $83.60. I was in and out in less than an hour with a big smile on my face. Suburban Honda in Farmington Hills, you out did yourselves in my estimation! Thanks, I will definitely be back!

I have visited Suburban Honda several times. With the exception of one visit, I have found the service satisfactory. Even with the exception of the one visit, the employees worked until the problem was solved and did not charge me extra. They even paid for a rental for a few days. The most recent visit went very well. It did not take long and the service was satisfactory. Shawn is always pleasant and takes the time to explain the repairs or why something needs to be replaced. He also lets me know if something can wait till the next maintenance visit and what repairs I should consider in the future. There is never any pressure to get something fixed. I would recommend Suburban Honda and definitely Shawn Nagappa.

After a very disappointing experience at a different location I was hesitate to give the Suburban group another chance. I called and spoke to an internet rep named Eileen, she was so apologetic and caring, I decided it was worth a shot. She assured me that the sales rep she placed me with was great. From the moment I met John Butler I knew her promises were not going to let me down. John was very professional and listened to all of my concerns. He addressed each concern with excellence and I drove away in a great vehicle that I love. I recently leased a 2015 Honda Accord from Suburban Honda. Joey Demilio made the whole process seamless. He provided excellent customer service and efficiency. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. I had a lot of questions to ask and Joey was very patient and easy to talk to. However, that all changed when I went back 18 days later to voice some concerns and ask some questions as to what my options were because I was not completely satisfied with the car. Once I had driven it for a couple of weeks I realized that the vehicle was not user friendly for several reasons, the main one being the situation with my disabled daughter. I thought it was important to make your customers satisfied and happy, but, I now feel that it is all about selling/leasing a vehicle to meet their quota. ......... Total quality was great. The only thing I'm not 100% satisfied is my steering wheel & seat positions were adjusted and had not been put back this time.I understand adjusting the seat position is okay so it is fine, but not the steering wheel.Not really a big deal but just wanted to bring this up.

I spoke with Joey Demilio over the phone at first. He was very helpful answering all my questions .The ball was in my court then. I drove out, saw the vehicle I was interested in and then went for a drive .there was only two concerns and they were both addressed before I was there the next day to take delivery. I leased a new 2014 CRV through salesman John Butler. This was an excellent experience. He was very courteous, friendly and professional. I felt comfortable talking with him. I must say he was impressive. He was expeditious in swapping out my old lease for my new one. He was also very knowledgeable and ensured that I understood the paperwork process as we went along.I have been in to service my 2011 Honda Accord on several occasions with different service people each time. All of them have been very friendly and courteious--this includes the cashiers who have taken care of the monetary aspect. Overall, I am pleased with the dealership.

I recently moved to Michigan and was looking to purchase a new Honda Odyssey. I submitted an online request for pricing through Edmunds.com and Suburban responded immediately. They answered every one of my questions and were able to track down the exact color and option package that I wanted. The purchase process was the smoothest I've ever had - Suburban even helped me coordinate the purchase and installation of a DVD player into the van and then delivered the van to my house. I have no hesitation in recommending them as a first class dealership and would absolutely return to buy another vehicle in the future.

Air conditioner was intermittent. Thought I had a short. Shawn said they would have to test coolent level and also test for leaks. You did this. Then you found an open relay in the compressor circuit. Shawn noticed rear wiper needed to be replaced and cleared this with me. You also took care of the fuel pump recall problem. Am not convinced you needed to test for leaks in as much the AC would cool when it was working.Seems that I would have saved a fair amount of money had you just replaced the defective relay.Ken Whise

For the most part our experience was great. Price for Navigation system repair was high, but explained a set price. Only disappointment was not being "in the loop" when the repaired unit had returned as we had to call several times, no initial contact from the dealership.

I have never had a bad experience dealing with the service center employees. Have always been given a friendly greeting and listened to no matter how strange a problem I bring to the shop. Problems are normally resolved on one visit. I have usually dealt with Bob, Julie, or Jeff and their attention to detail and manifestation of actual concern and interest in my experience with Honda service is a major reason I plan to stick with Suburban Honda - service or sales.

WARNING: There are many other Honda dealerships that will treat you right. Dont waste your time with this one.I cant say Im surprised by the other reviews. I had the worst experience at this dealership and witnessed an absolute failure in customer service. Please heed this WARNING as well as others you see in the below reviews. I will never walk into another Honda dealership again, and you would be wise not to walk into this one. My experience: I walked in to return a lease early and wasnt invited to an office but was told to walk over to a high top table. After I asked if the dealership can purchase the vehicle and settle my lease to save a little, a manager was brought over to discuss the situation. The manager, MIKE HERNANDEZ, walk over CHEWING GUM, and began interrogate us to figure out who told us that they can buy the vehicle from us. HE CONDESCENDINGLY told us that were responsible for the remaining payments for the contract, but hell see what he can do. Finally, when the buyout offer came back from the manager it showed that I would save about $400. I asked if there was any room for a better offer. Being in a dealership, I wouldnt think that this was out of the norm. Mike was called back in, and I asked why the NADA trade-in was so much higher compared to their buyout value. With a smirk Mike said GO SELL YOUR CAR TO THE NADA. My wife and I were completely shocked; I asked him why he was smiling and being so disrespectful, and then interrupted me, TAPPED ON THE TABLE AND SAID HAVE A GOOD DAY, EFFECTIVELY KICKING US OUT OF THE DEALERSHIP. After all the staff around him realized how unprofessional he was, they pointed me to Mikes manager. MIKES MANAGER APOLOGIZED and was able to help us, but we never received an apology from Mike. We were shocked as to why they were treating us in such a manner. It later became obvious after reading other reviews that if youre not buying from the dealership they simply dont care to treat you right and keep you as a long term customer.

Everyone was very friendly. I got a quick appointment, and they took as long with the car as they said they were going to- no delays. They have free muffins/coffee in the waiting room, which is nice. The shuttle drove me to work, which was clean and the driver was friendly. I recommend this dealer for service. I know nothing about cars, so I could have been robbed blind with the $800 I paid for "routine maintenance" on my 2007 accord with 85000 miles, but I'm an optimist and I'm going to believe that everything they did was in my best interest.

I bought a 2011 Acura MDX from this dealership today. From the very first encounter with Tom two months ago when I first walked into this dealership, I knew this place was for real. And today, upon my financial availability, I was able to close the deal by working with Joey and Raj, who have accommodated every single request, and worked with my credit union very hard to obtain an acceptable rate so I could drive out in the vehicle of my dreams. Joey replied to my email with extreme expediency and prepared the vehicle by the time I arrived to the dealership for me to test drive. He let me focus on the vehicle and experience it for myself. There was absolutely no pressure or persuasion. The cars sell themselves here. The dealers are talented in working at your pace. Joey worked with my insurance company and license plate transfer was a breeze.Raj demonstrated extreme professionalism and expediency in preparing the paperwork, which allowed the loan to be closed with utmost accuracy and precision. I'm a Canadian buyer who was looking to import a used 2013 Honda Accord from the USA into Canada. I did not visit the Suburban Honda dealership in Novi MI. I called from Canada to inquire first, if they carried any inventory for the vehicle I was looking for. While I understand that the dealership might not deal with many Canadian buyers who are looking to export cars from the USA, I found that Derrick and his manager (not aware of his/her name) were not knowledgeable about how the process worked whatsoever. But like I stated, that's understandable; however, their lack of willingness and interest in inquiring about the process or having the basic humility to admit that they have never dealt with this situation before was quite shocking and troubling. Derrick told me that they would not sell me a car unless it's registered in MI, and I pay the state sales tax for it there. I tried to explain that when purchasing a car for export (meaning the car will not be titled, or registered in the USA), I do not pay the state sales tax upon purchase at the dealership since I will be charged the state sales tax when I bring the car across the border. He would not have any of it - his only response "No, can't do!". I still pushed a little more and tried to explain that when I cross the border upon importing the car into Canada, I would be charged Canadian taxes too - GST by Canada Customs office and PST when I register the car with the province of Ontario. But... "No, can't do!" I tried again, but telling him that my family currently owns a used vehicle purchased in the States. No dice!I was repeatedly put on hold. Initially, when I asked if they had the inventory, I was told that he would call me back after checking. However, when I gave him my number, he decided to put me on hold instead of proceeding to hang up and call me back upon verifying whether he had the inventory for the car. I can only assume he decided to put me on hold, and not call me back, because he realized they would have to make an international call and be charged a minimal price for the call. He then went on to accuse me that I was asking for a NEW 2013 Honda Accord, when I had clearly stated that I was looking for a car with reasonable number of miles on the odometer at a reasonable price for import into Canada. With the multiple times I was put on hold, the unwillingness/ lack of interest/ lack of humility to understand my position - I would say I had a terrible experience, and terrible customer service at Suburban Honda dealership in Novi, MI. Lastly, I called Derrick back, minutes after our conversation and was transferred to his extension. He didn't pick up the phone, but instead let the voice mail pick up the call. Perhaps he was tied up, but I have not got a call back yet (been an hour). And yes, he took down my number - but then again, he could be worried about racking up a phone bill? Derrick, if you get to see this review I hope you (and your manager) will take the time to go to these websites and get a little bit more background on this matter, and resist the urge to give me the middle finger or cuss me out. Stay humble, be willing to understand, and learn! They were able to get us better financing than the bank, more for our trade, and a great price. Everyone we worked with was very professional and friendly. got a price lease quote online for a Honda odyssey 2013 they were about to run out.online they had 6 in stock. i checked with the internet sales before going to the dealership.i got an appointment for test driving. once i was in the dealership they had a 2014 ready for me for a higher price. the salesman told me that they run out of 2013 Monday morning. (I called internet sales the previous day Monday at 4 pm)he said that he had to pull one from a different place but the price will be higher. He acted as if he wasn't interested in selling me nothing.Then he had to check with his manager for the price they quoted me online and guess what NO NO NO NOI don't believe that this dealer is up to standards of professionalism and keeping their word.if you advertise a car for a certain price with this much down and this much for delivering, title, registration,.... that would be the priceif you run out of cars let people know and stop waiting their time!!!!!

Marvin Wilson is an excellent sales person. He is very cooperative and friendly. I purchased the 2014 Honda CR-V EX and Marvin was my sales person at Suburban Honda. Marvin was very helpful in the negotiation process especially that I had to turn in a lease car as part of the deal and Marvin worked it all very well. Unlike other sales I've worked with before Marvin is honest and trustworthy, he will not play with numbers in front of you instead he will explain the total cost and payments in a straightforward manner. I am very glad that Marvin was my sales person and I believe I got a good deal because of him. I strongly recommend him.

Our salesman, John Vaillancourt, was very helpful in answering questions, providing test drives, finding the car we desired from another dealer, and facilitating our purchase quickly and efficiently. He is genuinely a friendly and a caring person. He was not pushy, obtrusive, or obnoxious as we have experienced from car salesmen from other brands in the past. He was excited for us, sincere, and made the buying experience a pleasure. We hope he continues to work at Suburban Honda.

Our lease was ending on our Honda Accord. We came to the dealership to consider leasing another car. Salespersons John Vaillancourt invited us to test drive several models. He was friendly, extremely personable and accommodating. He told us that he was fairly new to the dealership, but you would have never known that. He must have done his homework because he was also very knowledgeable. In 48 hours, we were driving off in our new Accord. This is our sixth purchase from Suburban. They should be proud to have John on their team.

I am here to retract a negative review that I've posted a week ago. I purchased a 2012 Toyota Highlander and was very pleased with the vehicle as well as the customer service I recieved at the time of purchase. The reason I gave this dealership such a low rating and a negative review was due to the attitude of an individual in the finance department and her lack of explaination and assistance with the extended warranty program. However, I am pleased to say that since that time, the issue have been resolved by Sales Manager, Tim Tharp. He was very helpful and was very prompt in resolving this matter. My salesperson Joey Demilio was also alot of help during the process of my purchase, therefore I am please to say, due to their quick response to make things right, I would recommend this dealership.

Requested Suburban Honda to check battery because of cold weather. Checked battery and found it was substantially underpower. They had a good stock of service batteries and were able to accommodate an oil change as well. I was in and out in about an hour and a half.

Today I purchased a vehicle from this dealership and had the pleasure of working with Joey Demilio, he made the entire experience not only quick and painless but enjoyable. I have just leased my fourth vehicle from Suburban Honda. John Butler is the most patient and helpful sales person I have ever worked with. He was a pleasure to work with on my last lease so I made sure to ask for him when it was time to turn it in. I was in a hurry and John did everything he could to make sure I wasn't there any longer than absolutely necessary. Depsite the cold weather, John gladly brought around a few vehicles for me to look at and was sure I had all the information I needed as quickly as possible.But what really has made John my favorite sales person ever - he worked with my crazy schedule with patience and kindness that I really appreciated. There was no pressure on his part, but he responded quickly to my random emails and when I finally had time to pick up my new car, he had my new Civic ready to go and warming up. John's calm personality, vehicle knowledge and level of professionalism will make him my sales person when this lease is up too.

I saw the vehicle online and came in 2 days later and purchased the vehicle. I worked with Joey Demilio over the phone and he was polite, helpful and easy to get a hold of. The whole transaction went smoothly and my husband and I were very pleased, however when we sat down with Trisha in finance to finalized the deal, she persuaded us to purchase the 'Easy Care" extended warranty but did explain the cancellation policy. We understand that the extended warranty of $1,970 was tacked on top the cost of the vehicle which made our premium higher. However, she did not explain that if we choose to cancel at a later time, the premium will remain at the higher rate and will not go back to its original state, where it was before the warranty. She told us that an "Easy Care package will come to us in the mail and so my husband was confused and thought that she did not gave us any type of document showing we purchased the warranty. After much thought and only a few days later, we decided to cancel the warranty so we called Trisha. It was at this time that she finally told us about the cancellation policy and was very upset at us because we were confused. She was downright rude, accusing my husband of playing games just because he thought she did not provide us with any documents from the "Easy Care" warranty program. She got upset at me and my husband for calling her, saying she does not need for us to call her 5 times over something that could be dealt with in 20 mins. Well, EXCUSE ME but I think Suburban Honda received a very easy deal from us. I saw your car online, did my research and called you guys and purchased the car 2 days later with $5,000 cash down. Came into your place, knew exactly what we were coming in to buy and didn't waste your time in closing the deal so how the heck is that playing games???!!!! And this is how we get treated?!!! Are you for real??? Before you accuse someone of playing games, think!! Please for future reference, make sure you explain things thoroughly to your consumers, especially about the warranty cancellation policy so they WOULD NOT be confused and get frustrated! If Trisha would have done so, we would not have had this issue!!! I rated customer service a two because of Trisha! Joe, on the other hand was very helpful!!

I've been leasing a Honda Pilot for my last few leases and was planning on leasing another one. I used Edmunds for the first time and was bombarded with email and phone calls from various different dealerships. I was a bit overwhelmed with all of the response but was initially impressed by the straight forward email and phone response from Suburban Honda...after confirming the quoted price multiple times with the sales rep over the phone in different conversations and making it clear that I am busy and didn't want to waste my time or his; he talked me into coming into the dealership to make our deal.Unfortunately as soon as I got there and did the test drive and wasted an hour of my time he came back at me with a quote $25 higher per monthly payment then what we originally discussed and what I confirmed multiple times...then as I started walking out they came at me with another quote and stated that the sales rep that gave me the initial quote made a mistake....lol...what a joke! I confirmed this quote with both sales people and more then once...typical poor customer service and misleading tactics...many more details but too much to type...I would recommend against wasting your time with the Suburban Honda dealership there are many more out there with much better ethics.......

I came in after getting a flyer in the mail for a free turkey and saying my 2010 Honda could be worth $11,000 in trade in towards a new model. I immediately faced a line of other dissatisfied customers as their free turkey was a $10.00 coupon which they "ran out of". I then told my sales person what I owed on my 2010 and how ideally that car needs to be paid off in trade in value. They played the usual games of taking my keys but never looking at the car other than the mileage. I again inquired as to why the "bait and switch" over the flyer they sent me as a returning customer. The manager came over and told me flat out they would only give me $4K towards my car despite the fact I was on the phone with my credit union who was willing to finance up to 110% or more if needed towards replacing the car wth a 2014 model. The manager refused to negioiate and refused to give me any copupons for anything and threw me out despite the evidence that I was willing and able to bring them a cashiers check the following day. Needless to say, I was a victiim of bait and switch coming in and treated with outright hostility for daring to bring up the fact they were in violation of the Michigan Consumer protection Act MCL 445.903(2). Now I will be filing a small claims suit for the value of the turkey plus a $250.00 judgement for damage4s as set forth in the law. More importantly, they lost me forever as a repeat customer who can come in with cash after we agree on a price. Aviod this place at all costs.

We purchased a used Honda Accord from Suburban Honda. Our sales representative Brad Fernandes was excellent in helping us locate and find the vehicle that we needed. He spent the time with us we needed and was available for any of the requests or questions we gave him. He had great follow through and we couldn't have been happier with everything he did for us and with our "new to us" car.We also worked with the finance department with a man named Karl Stuef and he was very helpful and not pushy which we truly appreciated. We felt pleased and satisfied with what we purchased and what we didn't.Brought the car back for a service appointment which was handled by Jeff Smith. Everything was done according to our needs and we were very happy with all of the service dept.We would highly recommend Suburban Honda for anyone looking for a new/used car...

Steve Nowell was a pleasure to work with. He was extremely well organized, seemed to juggle multiple demands from multiple customers simultaneously, always courteous and accommodating, knowledgeable and attentive to questions. He initiated text messages, keeping me in the loop on every step of the financing through my credit union, offering to match their pricing etc, but never pressuring me one way or the other. I must say this was my best car buying experience ever. If i am still in Mi when my new 2014 Honda Accord hits it 175,000 mile mark, the time frame in which I have come to shop around for a replacement Honda, I will be back, looking Steve up! It is a pleasure to purchase a quality product from such a reliable, courteous, and personable salesperson. Thanks Steve!

My husband and I purchased a new 2014 Honda CRV and Joe Janosky was our sales rep. He made our experience simple, easy to understand and relaxed. All questions that we had were answered clearly and promptly, and Joe went out of his way to make our purchase a pleasant experience. I'd also like to commend the woman who handled our financing at Suburban Honda, although I do not have her name. She was an employee who knew her job very well and was able to articulate complicated money matters in down-to-earth language. All in all, our experience at Suburban Honda was excellent.

I wanted to buy an Honda Accord. Steve let me test drive it. I was impressed. Then I changed my mind and I wanted a CR-V.Steve let me test drive it. I showed it to my wife. She was impressed too. We took some time to make a decision to buy it outright. Steve worked with me and gave me time to decide. Then we bought the vehicle from Subruban Honda. Today, we are a proud owner of a 2014 Honda CR-V. During the entire process Steve was courteous, did not pressure, presented options, friendly, informative, patient and understanding. He finally delivered right vehicle at a price we could afford.

My wife and I met Joe Janosky in July, 2013 as we were looking at the remaining inventory of Honda Odysseys in stock. After Joe showed us the brochure of the 2014 model year and after arranging a test drive, we decided to reserve a vehicle that was to be built the third week of August. The changes in the 2014 model in body style and electronics were the deciding factors in waiting for the van and Joe kept us informed as to when delivery would take place. We took delivery September 3rd and Joe Janosky and Karl Stuef could not have been more helpful during our purchase and delivery process. Joe took care of getting the van prepped and Karl explained our options in regards to protectants we could have applied to the interior and exterior, extended warranties and finance options. After about three hours, we were ready to drive it home. Joe got in the second row and explained all the systems to us; heating, air conditioning, all the electronics and he paired my phone for me through the navigation system. Before we left, he said that if we had any problems figuring out anything to just give him a call or come back over to the dealership. We did just that two days later as there is quite a bit to learn on these new vehicles. I never imagined owning a van with more than fifty computers in it. Long story short is that I would recommend Suburban Honda, Joe Janosky, Karl Stuef and Julie Danielson to anyone that is interested in a quality product and quality service. My wife bought her 2006 Honda Civic from Suburban Honda and Julie has been her favorite service advisor these past six years and raves about how helpful Julie is. We now have almost 600 miles on our Odyssey and we're enjoying it very much.

Joey didn't give me the Honda certified warranty booklet, which contains a page to be filled out by the salesperson and manager, when I bought the car. The booklet lays out what is and is not covered under the certified-vehicle warranty. I asked him for the car's 150-item certification worksheet. He didn't give it to me. Every dealership is required to provide the worksheet on request. I requested the certified warranty booklet and worksheet for my car. All I got was a "sure, I can do that" text. I sent the request to the dealership's online coordinator. She passed it along to Joey. He still didn't send the documents. Now I wonder whether I paid too much or whether the car is in fact certified. How hard is it for Joey to keep his word? In general, I was treated as though my business didn't matter. In addition, the first time I had the car washed, a great deal of road rash showed up on the hood. Two days before I bought the car, I took it to a nearby parking lot and went over it thoroughly. I didn't find many notable marks on the paint. The day I bought it, I saw more scratches on the body and chips on the hood. I had it washed, and afterward saw still more scratches and the highly disappointing road rash. Did the dealership use something to cover the scratches and road rash? If they did, why not just fix them instead? In hindsight, I wish I'd gone to the last two dealerships on my list before Suburban Honda.

Our experience with Suburban Honda has been excellent. So often, people are motivated only to spend the time to write bad reviews and I wanted to share how excellent our experience has been. We have worked with both Tim Tharp and Joey Demilio on the purchase of a 2013 Honda Odyssey for a family member living in Arizona.After researching at several Honda dealerships in Arizona without positive results, I offered (I live in Ann Arbor) to research dealerships in Michigan. We visited four Honda dealerships in the area and Suburban Honda stood out above the rest due to their promptness in returning phone calls, accuracy in answering questions related to the vehicle, price, and overall friendliness.However, the true test of a dealer is not how things go prior to purchasing a vehicle, but how they support you after the purchase. We had one minor misunderstanding (post-purchase) relating to some accessories and called them to discuss. Not only were both Tim & Joey prompt in their response but they also offered to make it right by quickly ordering and installing the parts prior to the vehicles return to Arizona.Based on our experience I would recommend Suburban Honda, and will be back to purchase other vehicles even though Suburban is located over 2000 miles from where the vehicle will be used. Over the next several weeks our new 2013 Honda Odyssey will now be happily making its 2000 mile journey back home in Sedona, Arizona.

Suburban Honda has been servicing my Honda Odyssey for the last 13 years. This dealership fixes things right the first time. Julie Danielson is my go- to person. Half the time, she is able to answer my questions over the phone. While she has been forthright in explaining that she cannot provide a diagnosis over the phone, after numerous calls over the years, I gotta say that Julie has never been wrong. I go to Will when Julie is not there. He does not have the same experience that Julie has, but he never hesitates to get back with me with the information that I need. I routinely check Julie's and the attending mechanic's advice, by going to other service centers (usually to look for a better price) and I can confirm that Julie and Suburban Honda have always been straight with me. I have been feeling pressure to buy American, but I have been hesitant because this dealership treats me so well. From free rides to work during service, to doughnuts and coffee, to free WiFi, I am always made to feel comfortable.

Overall a very relaxed experience. Unlike other dealers I was not pressured, the deal was done timely and as expected. No surprises. Steve did a very nice job as did Marvin helping out on Steve's day off. Both of them are to be commended and I would not hesitate to purchase from either. The final purchase and financing was seamless with no surprises. At no time did I feel overwhelmed or pressured.

This was my first experience with Suburban Honda, and overall it was excellent. My car had to be towed to the dealership on a Saturday, and all of the employees, especially Jennifer in service, were very accomodating. The Master Technician did a very extensive inspection of my car and provided a detailed list of both required and recommended services. The only negative mark was the cost of the repair - the manual transmission service was more expensive than I anticipated but probably in line with most independent shops.

100% - (99% would be too low) -100% Raj and Mike Hernandez were totally honest and up front about the car I bought. They described my car perfectly, we negotiated briefly, and agreed to a fair price for both of us. I gave a deposit over the phone, they faxed the agreement to me, and we were done. I needed to travel a day to get the car and I relied upon thier reputation to deliver as promissed. In advance of my arrival, I asked the following: have it fully detailed and ready for my inspection, have the oil changed and have all fluids topped off, full tank of gas and be ready for my trip home as time was of the essence. 100% Upon my arrival at the dealership, I was escorted to the detail shop for the inspection, then a test drive, then to the business office to complete the paperwork, then a "tech" person familarized me with several functions and connected the Bluetooth for my trip home and I was on my way. All done by Raj and Mike. Clean all the way. It could not have been any better. I recommend without reservation.

I was very surprised that no one said " Hello" or offered to help me when I went into the new car showroom and looked at the new Pilot. I know some dealerships do not like to deal with women. Well I am one who decides what she will drive. And my car is paid for and 6 yrs old!

Your dealership is horrible at customer service. The sales person was not helpful at all. He was rude. The used cars you have are over priced. I have never been to a dealership where they sell cars that have things broken and service engine soon lights on. what kind of crap is that. I understand the "AS IS" part but that does not include broken gas gauges and service engine soon lights. I have bought a lot of used cars and never once have I had a dealer tell me that the car is sold with broken stuff like that. If you cant fix them then maybe you should not sell the cars.I will never come back to this dealer and i will make sure i tell everyone i know not to come here either.

I purchased my second Honda from Suburban Honda after my original Honda dealer acted like he was too busy to sell my my second Honda.I stopped into Suburban Honda after a dental appointment, to just look. John Butler apperoached me and welcomed me to the dealership. After chasing sales people that were standing around talking to each other at the other dealership this was really great.I told him what I was interested in. I saw the CRV that I liked. I took a test drive, and that evening I drove home in my beautiful new CRV. When it came time to make a change almost 2 years later. I gave John Butler a call told him I was coming out, and I was bringing my son. We set up a time, and my son and I went out. My son and I both came home with our new cars the next day. My son decided to change cars a couple of months ago. So the call was to John Butler, and a day or so later my son was in his second new car within 12 months purchased from John Butler at Suburban Honda.Within the year I will be calling John Butler at Suburban Honda to trade my car for a new one.Suburban Honda & John Butler have been good to me, and they have a loyal customer.

I had a very positive experience buying my car at the Suburban Honda and Loren had a lot to do with it. I buy a new car every few years and it is a big ticket item for me so I am very sensitive about every aspect of it including the person who works with me in the process from the dealrship. Loren was available when I needed information and he let me check things out on my own when I needed to do that. He was courteous and knowledgeable. I also got a very good price on the car. However what really impressed me was after I had already made my decision to buy the car and had my own bank loan approval. He told me about the option of trying and financing through the dealership and got me a very good interest rate and saved me a ton. Even after I bought the car he spent quite a bit of time showing me the details of how everything worked in the car. I give him two thumbs up.

After looking online at the Suburban Honda website I found a car I was interested in. When I called I was directed to Joey Demilio. Joey was enthusiastic about telling me about the car and invited me in to test drive it. He gave me information about the car and made the price sound great so my wife and I drove the extra distance to their dealership. After looking at the Ford Focus we decided it did not have all the extras on it that we wanted. Joey looked in their inventory and found a 2002 Honda Civic that he said would give us great mileage and last a very long time without problems. We took a test drive and loved it. Joey worked on the price because it was more than we had planned. He checked with his manager twice. He even offered to let us take it home and have our mechanic check it out. So that was what we were going to do. But then the manager told Joey to offer us a price that we couldn't pass up because it was the last day of the month. If we bought it right then we saved even more. Being smart shoppers you can guess what we did. I drove it home and it is a great car. My wife followed in another car. Joey filled up the gas tank and washed the car. Only drawback was that when I got home I told my wife that they only had 1 key to the car and so it is going to cost us money to get a second key. It would have been nice if they had offered to pay for the key. I was told to go to any Honda dealer and buy one.

I went into Suburban Honda knowing exactly what I wanted. When I got there Steve just handed me the key and said "take 25-30 minutes, or longer if you'd like" I felt as if I had interrupted his lunch break. So, I took the car for a drive and ultimately ended up buying it. This is my FIRST car purchase as a young adult. Two days later I had to replace the headlight (no big deal) and then one week later my check engine and oil light came on! I had to put 3Q of oil in it because it was so dry! The gasket had turned which was causing oil to spew all over the road. Luckily, Suburban offered to fix this because it was under their 30day warranty. After that I had no problems, up until last week when I kept hearing funny rumbling sounds coming from the back. Turns out the rear muffle is broken and was a $325 fix. So, before my SECOND car payment I have already put in about $500 in repairs!! AND not to mention I never received a single THANK YOU WE APPRECIATE your business from the dealership. I mean hell, I usually get at least 3 from dealerships I DONT EVEN BUY FROM!Overall, I am just frustrated and unimpressed with this dealership. I will not be recommending anyone nor will I be shopping there for when I need my next car. Way yo build your clientele Steve!

I located the vehicle, a 2010 Dodge Journey, metallic blue, on line in the evening on a Friday night. Joey called back after hours around 8:30 p.m. and discussed the vehicle and indicated the dealership was open on Saturday. We came in and he was comfortable and not pushy. This was my daughter's first car purchase of her own. The whole experience was great - from Joey's input and test drive, to the financial manager. We were totally delighted with the price, interest rate, vehicle & service.

Our experience was great. Joe Janosky delivered both of the cars we purchased to our home in Ann Arbor. Furthermore because one of the ordered parts was back ordered he returned to our house to pick up the car to have the part installed. This is exemplary service.The price for the two cars was competitive. We obtained the pricing via email. Of the 8 retailers we contacted, Surburban Honda provided the clearest and most complete listing of the price, option prices and fees/taxes. It was a very positive experience.

I was pleasantly surprised when I was greeted by our salesman, Van Knox. He is honest, friendly, and goes out of his way to make the car buying experience as smooth as possible. I have been leasing or buying Honda vehicles since the early '90s and I like to negotiate the best possible deal.He knew immediately that I had been to several dealerships. I have generally had very nice experiences but this one stood out above the rest. In less than 10 minutes we negotiated a fair price for my trade in and new purchase price for a new Odyssey.When I was on my way to make the purchase I realized I forgot my check at home. I called Van and he said it was no problem and to just come in. I did and drove home in the new Odyssey. The next day he arranged for someone to stop by at my wife's workplace to pick up the check--saving me and my wife a trip back to the dealership.Finally, we had a hitch for our bikes that we wanted to transfer. He had the old van driven to a U-haul close to our home so we could place it on the new van.I will certainly go back to this dealership in the future--in large part because of Van.My wife and I joke that we got our van from Van.Thank you Van and thank you to all the staff at Suburban of Farmington Hills.

I love the saleman, Van Knox, we buy from and it's nice to return in a few years and find him still there to help with my next purchase. I bought a 2009 honda crv 3 days and i have to say i am extremely disappointed with the customer service and the sales people. The sales guy didnt spend even a few minutes with me to address my concerns. Today morning when i checked the car , i realized there are visible scratches and dents on the car along with a missing tail light , which was visible only on broad day light . I didnt even have a chance to do the inspection when i bought the car because the car was bought in the evening and the scratches and dents were not visible then. The sales person didnt care either to address any of the small dents and scratches to me when i bought the car. When i reported this to suburban honda, they didnt even care , rather they were very harsh and rude ... the only thing they said you have already bought the car and we are not responsible for anything. Please dont buy a car from here, just go to a better place. I am going to tweet this to all of my friends and colleagues and the people i know in next few days unless the service people take this feed back and address it ASAP . Let everyone know about what sub urban honda did , becoz i dont deserve their bad service.

As we were getting ready to leave the showroom 4 days ago, we were greeted by Mr. Van Knox III. He asked if he could help us and we explained to him that we were looking for a used Honda Accord and asked if we could see some of the models for sale. With enthusiasm he presented 2 cars for us to test drive. He answered all of our questions and was very efficient as he presented our car to us and introduced us to the financial manager.We were not pressured or forced into making our decision. We were encouraged to take as much time as we needed. Mr. Knox wanted to make sure that we understood everything about our car before we left and reminded us to call him anytime we had a question and he would take care of us.Several days later, the tire pressure light appeared and I was concerned. I called Mr. Knox and he directed me to drive over to the repair center that very day and not to worry. When I arrived, Mr. Knox reassured me that the repair shop was aware of my problem and that I would not have to wait long. I only had to wait 10 minutes (total time) and the matter was resolved and I was driving my car again.I have never been treated with such great respect and efficiency at an auto dealership and at repair shop in a long time. I understand that auto dealerships handle many customers on a daily basis and it can be stressful and challenging, but I walked away feeling like I was very special and one of Suburban Honda's most valuable customers.....and that is how you should treat eveeryone!!! Summary: This dealership has dishonest and unethical salespersons who do not disclose full details about used cars. I had 2 bad experiences within a matter of 3 hrs. I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone since they won't hesitate selling you a lemon without disclosing that it is a lemon.I visited the dealership to purchase a used certified Honda Accord. They told me that they had 2 in my budget so I went to check them out. One 2008 Accord was priced at about $14000 which was easily $4000 less than the street price. When I ask the person showing me the cars why it was priced so low I was told "This has been priced low so that we can get customers like you". I kept asking what the catch was and they just wouldn't give me a reason.After I test drove the car and started negotiation on the car's price the "Financial Manager" talked to us. He was talking to us as if we were banned from buying the car and acting busy. In the meanwhile I asked for the CARFAX report of the car. that's when we knew why the price was low - it had an accident history. Then the sales person tells us slowly - "just wanted to let you know that this car had a minor accident". The financial manager was nowhere to be seen after that. I can imagine why.Then we test drove another "certified" car at the same dealership on the same day only to discover that the mileage had been tampered with (service record said 83000 miles, odometer showed 55,000 miles) and that the car had NOT been certified although the car is listed online as certified and had a sticker on it saying certified. I decided to leave the dealership immediately.

I love this dealership of all the dealerships I have ever been associated with and believe me I am 71 years old so I have had a lot of dealerships.Tim, the Manager, is excellent and so orientated to making a customer feel that she is the most important person to have walked through his dealership. Raij my salesperson I also like so much and he took very good care of me.The service department is excellent and always takes time to answer any questions you may have even when you call in with a question.I, myself, live over 40 miles one way to this Hondo Dealership on Haggerty Road and I have two Honda dealerships withing 15 miles from me but I go all the way there as they make me feel I am valued.Big hats off to Tim, the Manager, as that is where the dealership starts with an excellent and people orientated Manager and hats off to his entire team at Surburban Honda.Thank you Eleanor damico

I have been a customer of Suburban Honda since July 0f 2005. Their service department has always been able to get me in for service. Service work is taken care of in a very timely manner. All their service people are very nice and easy to work with. I just recently leased my 3rd Honda Civic on Dec. 30, 2010. I had salesperson contact information before I arrived at the dealership so I knew who to ask for. My sales person was Corey Worthen who I felt very comfortable with during the whole process. He was very professional and eager to assist me in my decision to lease a new Honda. He was very knowledgable and answered all my questions. I would recommend Corey in a heartbeat to my friends and neighbors. It is because of professional, personable sales people like Corey that I will continue to return to Suburban Honda in the future. I feel very welcomed at this dealership.

I bought my Honda-CRV LX model on New year's eve. Mike Siwicki is probably the most decent car sales man that I have met. Dealt with car salesmen in Europe and in USA, but am yet to see a more professional and honest car salesman than him. My experience with him was very respectful, down to business in working out the best out the door price, and no bull. He is a trust worthy person, and I wish there are more folks like him. I had a great experience buying a used Honda Accord from Van Knox at Suburban Honda. Van Knox couldnt have been more helpful. Not only was he responsive and easy to work with throughout the car-buying process, but he even agreed to drive the car 40 minutes from the dealership in order to let my mechanic inspect the car before I committed to buying it. I love the car that I bought and the price felt very fair -- Id recommend Van Knox and Suburban Honda to anyone else who is looking for a car in the area.

This dealership provided me with a quality used honda that had very low miles. They provided me a warranty on almost everything on my car. This included the tires, seats, brakes, seatbelts, engine, transmission, etc. I had the pleasure of having Van Knox as my salesman and he was pretty honest about which particular would suit me and me lifestyle. Choosing a vehicle has to be something that suits you well, almost like your clothing. I have no regrets about my red honda civic and hope that anyone who chooses to buy a car, would certainly stop by Suburban Honda....Thanks Mr. Knox!

No high pressure just presented the facts and let us make the decision. We completed that deal and my daughter was 100% satisfied. My lease was due in a month and I was looking for a new vehicle to lease . The sales person Van Knox contacted me and offered a reasonable price ,which got my attention( price 4). When I arrived at the dealership I was greeted by that same person at the door(friendliness 5).He was very polite and patient and answered all my questions while he was showing me all the vehicles I was interested in( quality of work 5). I was nervous about all the paperwork I had to fill out and that I didn't have enough knowledge about what I what I was doing.He took care of the paperwork,the old lease return ,and the license plate transfer.(costumer service 5)Two days later he met me at Muckey shorr,where I got my remote starter uninstalled from my old lease car and installed on my new vehicle and he even gave me a loaner to use during the wait period that day (overall experience 5).

This was our first experience with a Honda dealer and it went very well. Our salesperson was John Butler. My husband explained what we were looking for and told him we would be back in about an hour. While we were gone he gathered the information on a few of the models we were interesteding in seeing. Upon our return to the dealership JB took us right to the vehicles and answered all of our questions. Once the test drive of the vehicle we selected was complete we all sat down and discussed pricing. JB worked with us and made suggestions on how we could stay in range of our budget. He was patient in taking back whatever offer we made and never made us feel rushed. My husband and I were given the time needed to discuss in private what we would agree upon. We would certainly recommend John Butler to anyone looking for a pleasant car buying experience. I rate JB a 5(GREAT). The only area I rate a 4(GOOD)is the final price and only because it wasn't the exact price we had in mind when we enter the dealership. But the price was good and we got more features then we initially were looking at. We have not had to use the service department yet and therefore cannot rate this area. We expect to have a good experience here as well and will post a rating at a later date. Thank you JB and Suburban Honda, we are enjoying our CR-V.

After an unpleasant experience at a Honda dealer in Plymouth, I decided to give Honda another shot so I went to Suburban. Wow what a difference! The selection was great- the vehicles were actually priced, and I dealt with the most wonderful salesperson, Pat Marx. Knowledgeable, friendly, and to the point, Pat answered all if my questions directly and honestly. Pat gives a whole new meaning to the term "salesperson". She understood my needs and gave me the options I needed. Thanks again Pat!

Van was super nice. Gave me a great price! The whole transaction was completed in an evening and I drove out in my new vehicle that night! I have already recommended Suburban and Van to a few people today! I originally went to a competing dealership but I was unhappy with both the price offered and the customer service. I hope to stay with Suburban for a while!

I had never leased a vehicle before, however I when I went into Suburban Honda, I found that they were very helpful and make me feel comfortable making the decision to lease a Honda. The amount of time the salesman Van gave me was wonderful. He answered all calls and questions from me very quickly. I did not feel there were any games and I was not treated like a "dumb woman". They did not have the color I wanted in stock, but they got one within hours. I walked out of Suburban Honda in a new 2011 Honda CR-V. This was a wonderful experience.

Purchasing a car from Suburban Honda was such a great experience. Everyone was so knowledgeable and helpful. They answered all of my questions and were patient with me when I couldnt decide between two cars. Joe was able to sit down with me and help me compare the cars so I could make the best decision. Joe even followed up with me the next day to make sure I was still happy with my decision. I would recommend Joe and Suburban Honda to anyone.

I cant't say enough about how great it was to purchase my Accord from Suburban Honda and to deal with Corey. From start to finish the whole experience was better than any other Honda dealership I went to. I did go to 2 other Honda dealership (which will remain nameless) and was treated like I was a "typical woman" buying a car on her own. Suburban treated me like a valued long time customer (even though this was my first purchase). You will have my business for good! Love my Accord~

Why I rated the dealership is because wheen I walked in to the dealership and I was promptly greeted. The salesman was personable and asked me questions to help what I wanted. He took me to the car and told me about it. He was wanting to give me time and he was very helpful in the process. I will recommend your dealership to everyone.

This is the second vehicle I have bought from Van Knox and look forward to working with him again when my lease is up. He makes the car buying experience fun.During the process of leasing our new Honda Accord I had changed my mind several times. Vanwas so patient he spent most of the day with us on Saturday to make sure that I had a smile on my face when we left. I appreciate not being pressured into something that I wasn't completely satisfied with.

This was the first car I've purchased and it could not have gone any better. Van knew what i wanted and got it for me. Not only did he get me in a car he got me within a price range i could afford for the car i wanted. My family and i will continue to use Suburban Honda for years to come.

I recently leased a car for my daughter at Suburban Honda (Farmington Hills), although I never had any contact with this dealership prior to this recent lease. Was initially attracted to the dealership via their web site. Was then put in touch with sales consultant, Joey Demilio. On top of being very friendly, Joey was very helpful in finding a deal that made sense for me. I appreciated his efforts, and won't hesitate to contact him for a car in the future.

We were looking for a nice, in-expensive car for my son's 16th birthday present and obviously his first car. Waiting on money caused us to cut it pretty close to the day, but Mike S. and Mike H. handled every thing in a professionally mannered hurry for us. They handled everything from the car, to the paper work, registration, plates, insurance, to the inspection, the cleaning and the fueling up. My son had a very happy birthday, loves his car, and we are very pleased with our choice to deal with Suburban Honda!

Purchased a brand new 2010 Honda Crosstour today from Joey at Suburban Honda. My wife really loved the car and Joey worked extensively with me in narrowing my choices and negotiating a price that I can live with weeks, months and years after reflecting on this purchase. The highest compliment I can give is to recommend or use Joey again in the future. I overlooked obtaining an additional remote starter with my purchase and Joey has committed to obtain an additional remote starter for a discounted price. I plan on revisiting this site to provide further feedback after my wife and I get to know this car and for any future service we experience with this dealership.

I had a great experience with Joey at Suburban Honda. We called Suburban Honda from an internet ad for the car I was looking for. I had found a similiar car at another dealership, told Joey exactly what the other dealership was willing to let the car go for, told him I was not the type to go back in forth, this was the budget and he was willing to work with us. I went in, test drove the car, told him this was what I'll pay bottom line, the deal was done. I picked up the car the next morning and was very happy. I didn't get "jerked" around. Car shopping is the least favorite thing I like to do and he made it easy. I got the car for the price I could pay (which was a great price). Thanks Joey! I'm in sales and I know most people who have good experiences don't take the time to report a good experience, but one not great experience and the whole world knows. I would definitely recommend Joey to anyone looking for a quality car at a good/fair price!

Took my car there several times for service. They are there to get as much money out of you as possible as their primary goal. Tried to sell my on having items done that were not part of required maintenance. Also told me I needed a battery and alignment. Battery made it just fine for another year and took the car back to the place I bought tires and was informed that the alignment was fine.

So, I go to this dealership with an intent of buying a 2009 or 2010 Honda Civic within a month. I walk in the dealership and a sales person (Tim...no clue about his last name) greets me and my wife and walk us to his desk. We talk about what cars he has especially the Civic. We ask to test drive the 2010 Honda Civic LX, he brings the car and off we go. I drove it for about 10 miles. As I was driving my wife starts to ask me about the possibility of getting a sunroof with navigation and may be leather seats also. Once we get back to the dealership I start asking the sales person (Tim) about sunroof, navigation options he mentions about the DX or something. I ask him if we can just see the car and he says that all he can show is the car I test drove, if I want to buy the car I need to make my decision based on that car. By now I am like confused and puzzled by this person. He goes on to say how I would look at all these cars here test drive them and go to another dealership and buy a car. I was like, well I will be looking around for sure but that does not mean he cannot tell me or show me what I am asking for. And then the way he starts talking is totally rude and I felt like that we were wasting his precious time. We bid each other good bye. Wish each other a good day.I then go to their receptionist and complain to a guy over there hoping that it would make a difference. He apologized and everything but I did not feel it was sincere. At this point I am so disappointed and mad, because I was so excited that I will be getting a Civic soon and now I am seriously reconsidering it.I hope by reading this email you can get a picture of what this dealership represents and what you can expect.

I brought my car in for the second time for a rattle inside the car. Both times I was told that they couldn't find it and left it at that. The rep told me I wouldn't be charged for inspection when I called to make the appointment because I was under warranty but then he called while doing work on the car and told me I was going to have to pay the inspection fee and that I was making "ridiculous statements" when trying to undestand why he was trying to charge me. It also took 2 visits to get an intermittent airbag light looked at because they said there was nothing they could do if the light wasn't on when I brought it in. When I brought it in the second time (after it was ignored the first time) and told him it had been going on for 6 months or so off and on but because they don't offer loaners and I don't have access to another vehicle I haven't been able to bring it in, he told me I should have found a way to bring it in and basically made it my fault. This place is full of rude people who don't care about customer service in the least. I just got off the phone with them to check on the status of my car and was told that I was "complaining". What a joke. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. The dealership is 5 minutes from my house and I will gladly drive an hour if I have to do have my work done at another dealership.

This is worse dealership I ever visited. Sales person is friendly but Manager was very rude. I was trying to negotiate a deal. First of all he kept me waiting or almost 1 hour telling that he is doing paper work then came with deal which was much higher then what they have provided me quote for.When I tried that discuss and tell that this is not what I agree to he rudely told me that he will not do it and told me rudely that I am free to take this or walk away. New car sales manager dose not even have curtsey to say hello to customer. Very bad experience.Do not trust internet price what these guys give to you as they always come up with different higher quote for you and waist your time. I had 3 cars and never had such bad experience

I came to this dealership for service because I was visiting my parents and my CEL turned on. Since I had a 700 mile drive home, I needed to have it taken care of immediately.I went in to Suburban Honda and was charged for a diagnostic test (that was put towards my repair), then told that my O2 sensor needed to be replaced. After waiting for a few hours, I was told that they needed to charge me for an extra hour of labor because of aftermarket audio equipment I had mounted under my passenger side seat. It sounded reasonable, so I agreed to the extra charges.I was watching the technicians that were working on my car while I was waiting. I saw a group of them just standing around my car taking pictures, while no actual work was being done. I have an extensive audio/video system, so I can understand them taking an interest in it, but not while I'm being charged extra for my repair.When it was time to pay, I disputed the additional charges since I thought they were unneccessary and felt like I was being taken advantage of. I was told that they could not do anything about it. I asked to speak to a manager and was told that he was busy and did not have time to talk to me about my dispute. A few days I received a "customer satisfaction" call to ask about the service. I stated that I was unhappy with the service and explained my situation again and was told that they could do nothing to help me. I asked to speak to a manager again, and was told that I would get a phone call. I never received that phone call.Over all, their customer service was unsatisfactory. Instead of resolving or acknowledging the problem, I was ignored.
