My experience here was nothing but great. Even when I thought I did not have any options, Bradley made sure that I did. He actually remembered a lot information about me from November 2015 when I first applied for a car and even then he worked to make sure that I was able to get a car suitable to my needs and very close "lol" to what I wanted to pay. A little over a week ago my wife was in an accident that totaled her car. We really did not have any money seeing that she just started back to work after giving birth to our first child. I knew that she needed a vehicle to get back-and-forth to work but also wanted to keep payments to an absolute minimum while also not putting much, if any, money down. The people at Summit Place Kia of Waterford made that possible. They kept on looking for ways to keep the payments very low and worked within my guidelines for monthly affordability when it comes to paying all the lovely doctor bills that comes with having a baby. If anyone is in this situation I would highly recommend going to Summit Place Kia of Waterford and asking for John Lowman; a very awsome low-down sales person who did not stop until we got exactly what we wanted. Summit Place KIA was so helpful in getting me a new 2016 Kia Soul. I had just got into an accident 4 days prior to walking into Kia. I actually went to KIA just to see what my options were being that I only work part-time and am in graduate school. I was not sure that I would get approved to drive a vehicle. I honestly expected to get a used car older than 2010, not a car that only had 13 miles on it lol). My car salesman was very open about the features of the car, exploring money options based on my income, and created a relaxed & friendly environment. I also received a tour of the building and was made aware how to provide maintenance with the car. Kia of Summit Place is amazing. I am a tough critic, but they really worked with me.

If you are in a pickle with no credit or bad credit go see "the Pickle" Bradley Van Sickle! He hooked me up big time with a Caribbean blue 2016 Kia SOUL. I have only had old used cars with mechanical issues for the last 15 years and have no established credit due to the fact that I never had the credit to buy new things. I thought I would never be able to get a decent car unless I paid an unreasonable monthly payment or had $20,000 for a down payment ! Bradley was Super helpful. He listened to what vehicle I wanted and worked very hard at making it happen. He promised me that I would walk out of the dealership that night with my favorite car and I DID! Not only that, now I have an opportunity to quickly build my credit and I got a free pickle shaped pen :)****NEVER GO TO GLASSMAN KIA IN SOUTHFIELD !!!! They will try to sell you a used vehicle with no warranty, high miles and a third of the value for a higher payment that what Bradley Von Sickle can do with a DYNAMITE BRAND NEW VEHICLE!

I previously owned a Kia Forte loved it never any issues and the Service Dept there at Summit Place Waterford EXCELLENT. my lease was up and they did not have any Forte's to my spec as the new 2017 are not out yet. So I went with the Sportage. Love the vehicle. Only compliant about the experience is I never was introduced to the manager and I think I should have been and the AC was broken both when working out the deal and still when I came to pick up the car 2 weeks later. Also it was supposed to be ready at 10am and I was stuck in the hot dealership until noon because the car was not ready.

When we visited the Summit Place Kia, my husband and I had not decided whether to buy a Kia or another brand. The salesman who greeted us was Louis Elston. He was so pleasant and never made us feel pressured to buy a Kia. He showed us all the features of the two models that we were considering and patiently answered all our many questions. Even though we really liked the Kia models, we decided to check out another brand before making our final decision. The salesman at the next dealership was not knowledgeable about the suv we inquired about and was generally annoying and hard sell. Also their suv did not favorably compare to the Sportage, but actually cost more. The next day we returned to Kia Summit Place. When we told Louis we had decided on the 2017 Sportage EX, he quickly and efficiently made it happen. This is our first but not our last Kia, and when we return to Kia Summit Place, we will buy or lease from Louis. He is very honest and knowledgeable about all the vehicles he sells. It was a very enjoyable experience and my husband and I will be recommending Louis Elston to any friends or family members looking for a new or used car.

I've been to 10 different dealerships, each one submitting my credit to several banks, causing my credit score to decrease. No one could help me even though I had money to put down. I just couldnt continue to catch the City Bus at 3 am anymore, its not safe for a young woman. So I called Summit Place (East) but the sales lady never returned my call to this day. I called Louis at the Waterford location and he told me to come right in. When I walked in I was welcomed with open arms and treated like family. I was able to drive off the lot with a 2016. I started my search for a new car after totaling my 16 year old Volvo. I remembered seeing the Soul when visiting my daughter. Plus, listening to the Summit Place Kia ads on my daily drive. I went on line and looked at their inventory, and also applied on line. I was contacted by Jordon and we went over a few questions and I was pre-qualified. We drove up and was greeted by Derek. He listened to what I wanted. He looked at the inventory and he first brought me a manual Soul, only problem, no cruise control, so we went with the colors I had stated I liked, but in the process of getting the number for the key, I said what about the"Alien" color. I test drove it and was in love. We worked out the final finances and I drove home with my Kia. Will come back and recommend going to Summit Place and working with Derek. Everyone is very friendly and helpful at Summit Place.

After looking at a couple of other dealerships, my fiance and I came to Summit place Kia. As we walk in, I couldn't help but notice a smile on everyone's face, clients and employees alike. I was greated by Louis, he was very nice and polite. He was able to take us right out to look at several cars that fit our needs. He gave us plenty of time to talk between our selves. We didn't feel rushed and Louis was very knowledgable of each car as well. Once inside we were able to talk numbers. There was fresh popcorn, which I took full advantage of. We had a couple of different options for a trade in or a pay off or just a purchase. Louis and Summit place were able to show us so many different possibilities of financing. Louis was very patient with us. Allowing us to flop back and forth and ask question after question. I found myself looking through one of the children books on his desk:ispyIn the end, we purchased a 2013 town and country. The transaction was very smooth, and I love the van that we purchased. This is 5 months after purchase and we are very happy. No issues with the van and we even got a free oil change

"Here To Help" was the subject of the very first email I received from Louis Elston. This email followed a conversation that I had had with Louis in which I discussed that I was not really hopeful that he would be able to help me. It wasn't that I was not confident in KIA or even Louis, but of my own situation. See, I came to Louis with a vehicle that I knew beyond a shadow of doubt that I was upside down on with my loan and quite frankly probably just not worth much, not much of a down payment and mediocre credit. That being said, I had no preconceived notions as to what car I even wanted. I submitted an application to see "IF" I could do anything.From the very beginning Louis shone lots of positivity into my situation. He was optimistic. He promised to do all he could to help while all the while making no false guarantees. We corresponded via email for a day as Louis worked to gather all information which would later minimize my actual time spent in the dealership, answer my questions and alleviate any concerns.When I arrived to the dealership it was really without an appointment and Louis was accommodating another customer yet took the time to address me and get the ball rolling. Although he had been entertaining and helping two of us. I never got that feeling. Even at this point I was still pessimistic. Louis did all he could to get me into a new car............and it worked. I pulled out of the dealership that day in a brand new KIA Forte and my old car in the rear view mirror. My experience with Louis and KIA exceeded all that I could have ever hoped or expected. I am extremely satisfied.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank Bradley VanSickle from Summit Place Kia in Waterford. My husband and I have had nothing but nightmare experiences at car dealerships over the past years. After my husband was hit by a drunk driver in December, we were left with one vehicle. Twice a day we made trips from Romulus to East Detroit to Ann Arbor and then back to Romulus. Needless to say we were growing weary of the daily commute. Due to credit issues and the lack of funds saved for a down payment, we avoided even the thought of getting another vehicle. On Saturday I heard a commercial advertising some deals and when I called, Bradley made me feel so comfortable and excited about coming in to see what they had to offer. He was knowledgeable, thorough, and honest. From the time we arrived, we were greeted and smiled at. We were offered a sitting area, complete with popcorn and the Disney channel for the kids! To my surprise my husband was approved for a 2016 Kia Soul with only $500 down. While on a test drive, my husband and I were discussing the amount of miles that we had placed on our other vehicle, a 2014 Ford Explorer. We visited this dealer after extensive research on the brand as well as other dealers. After numerous visits to the website and we knew what we wanted we submitted a "more info option" online. We were contacted by John Lowman. John was able to work with us on a very hectic schedule to view the car. We arrived at the dealer John was very professional offered us drinks and etc. John left to get the car we were interested in. We were happy with the car but not happy with the color he was more than happy to find us the color we wanted. The process moved quickly. Costa was very upfront, very informative, and very knowledgeable about the vehicles he was introducing to his clients. I had my eyes specifically on a Forte. When all was said and done I drove a brand new vehicle off the lot the same day we initiated contact. He has several awards hanging in his cubical and it's very obvious why. After being bombarded with their commercials on the radio, I went to Summit Place Kia today. I USED to have perfect credit and now I don't, life happens. True to the commercial, I was approved to get into a 2014 used car, with a co-signer I could get into a new, no problem. But, yes, I did have a problem. As I was talking with the sales person "Josh" I think his name was, a porter came around dropping balloons on the floor. I had my 5yr old with me and of course balloons... 5yr old... like bees to honey. When my credit score was perfect and I shopped in Birmingham, Troy and West Bloomfield, we were treated like royalty just walking in the door. Here, as my son played with the 20 cent balloons, a PORTER, who is just an entry level general labor gopher had the audacity to say something to the salesperson WHILE WE WERE TALKING about my son playing with the balloons that he was spreading on the floor. At the dealerships I BOUGHT from in the past, they would have given my son those balloons and then offered to personally go blow some more up just to make him happy. Not Summit Place Kia. I decided right then that I would just wait. Suck it up, work hard and get my score back to where it needed to be. I was THE only customer in there and it's CLEAR why that is. Summit Place Kia is like... that dusty "last chance" motel on the outskirts of town in an old western. You couldn't GIVE me a FREE car to go back there.

We needed a new vehicle and we needed it fast. I was on a two week medical leave from work, when our only mod of transportation decided to give up on us. The finance guy was rude and tried to get more money than needed. I had them appraise my car and they lied and said it cut off 3 times while driving it and told me I had to put down more cash! My car has never cut off while driving it. After I told him that couldn't be true and asked for the guy who appraised it, he got up rudely and said his guy doesn't lie. I was going to finance a car with them I really liked Ken and Sarah, but Jason ruined it Sarah's soon to be customer and me from ever coming there again.

This place is absolutely terrible. They cheated lied and tried to steal! I was supposed to have a cosigner on my car and they only put them in the paper work and I was nowhere on the loan. they charged us more than what they said they were and after I drove off the lot, 2 DAYS LATER they called and said my loan was declined so after they completely screwed me I took my car back, got my trade in (that they only gave me $300 for when they said they were giving me $800) and the money I put down which took like a week to get back they were very rude and nasty.it was ridiculous. ill never go back there

SPEECHLESS! LIAR LIAR KIA ON FIRE! I was told that I would have no problem getting approved for $99 a month via email after he reviewed my credit report. When I get there boy did everything change they wanted to only give me $1,400 for my 2007 Saturn ION in GREAT shape an extra $1,000 down and $250 a month. What a waste of time! Not to mention the salesmen called me rude because I told him what cars I was interested in and he brings me a Ford Focus.. RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!

When I walked into the dealer, I was so nervous, and had no idea what I wanted. Costa was very patient with me, and gave me a lot of knowledge about the 3 vehicles that I test drove. I bought a 2011 Kia Forte and I couldn't me happier. Costa and Jason were both very patient with me, I was super indecisive. They closed at 3pm that Saturday, but they both stayed until after 6pm to help me out.Thank you both so much!!

I purchased a used F150 and the day I drive off the lot it was making noise and shaking. I took it in the next day to be serviced. It was claimed to be fixed. I have not even made my first payment and the problem still exists. I took it back again and the manager Wayne says they will not fix it. It will cost me well over $600 to fix it. I will "NEVER" purchase at the Mt. Clemens location again nor will I refer anyone. Wayne knew the truck had this problem when the vehicle was sold to me, but refused to fix it.POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I have honestly never been lied to and treated with such little dignity and respect in my life. I was cheated and lied to TOO many times to count. I was lied to about my quote. I was then lied to about what needed to be serviced on my car and how long it would take. I was then lied to about... man, I can go on and on. BEWARE of this dealership. All they care about is your signature on the dotted line and THAT IS IT! To even get a call back, EVEN from a sales manager, after-the-fact is a complete, flat-out delusion. Their sales quota comes first and that is ALL. You may even hear claps from the back room after you sign the paperwork, get called "sweetheart", hit on and asked to go to the bar afterwards. Do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE else where you may be at least treated with an ounce of dignity.

I have never had a worse experience in my life. This dealership royally CHEATED and lied to me so many times I honestly can't even count. I was sold a vehicle for over $800 more than they promised/quoted. They then serviced the vehicle and kept if for a week after first being promised it would be done in a day or 2. They lied, and lied, and LIED.... so much that I am honestly disgusted. All that they care about is their sales quota (you may hear claps from the back room after you sign on the dotted line and your salesman goes to turn in the paperwork as I did), and then FORGET any customer service moving forward. I can not even get the sales manager, Ozzy, to return my call.I will be not only contacting, in writing, Ozzy's superior, but his or her superior, and keep moving up the ladder as this is COMPLETELY unacceptable. This matter will also be taken to the BBB, every review site I can find and to Lansing. Also, if you're female - you'll probably get asked to go to the bar after your sale and be called "sweetheart" as well. What a classy touch. BEWARE of this dealership. I would not want even my worst enemy to endure this awful experience. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else where you will actually be treated with an ounce of dignity.

I was driving down Telegraph Rd on my way to an appointment when my check engine light came on reminding me that I needed an oil change. I am not from this area so I pulled into a big name service shop place, across the street from the Kia dealership on Elizabeth Lake Rd to see if I could get my oil changed there. I did not have a lot of time so I asked if they could help me. I was told, "sure if you have a couple hours" as the man laughed as if that was supposed to be funny for me. I did not have that much time so I thought I would try across the street. I was greeted by the sales manager named "Ozzie" who was incredibly helpful. I asked if I could get my oil changed and that I was in a bit of a hurry so he smiled and said, "no problem sir, I understand and will get you taken care of right away. He walked me over to the service manager which I thought was great, since most people would have pointed and said it's over there somewhere once he realized I was not looking for a new car. I think the service manager's name was Jeff that he introduced me to. He treated me so well, that I thought he mistook me for a longtime client or at least as someone who bought their car from them, which I had not. He asked for my keys and he went right to my car and pulled it into the service center. I looked in their shop which seemed to be very busy and thought wow, I can't believe he pulled my car right in. Every bay was full and he had a technician looking at me car immediately. After about 20 minutes, he called my name and I came up to the counter. He explained to me that while they did the oil change on my car that the Tech also noticed a nail in my rear passenger side tire. He went on to explain that they took care of that as well and I was all set. I paid for the oil change which was less expensive than the place across the street that does oil changes and he fixed my tire for free. I couldn't believe it! I went back to him to say thank you and let him know how much I enjoyed the Kia service experience and appreciated the quick and special service they gave me. He merely smiled and said "thank you sir, but we really didn't do anything special, this is just the way we service all of our clients". He also said, if you need any other service please keep us in mind. I would NEVER go anywhere other than to Summit Place Kia to get my service work done. I live about 30 minutes away and would drive 2 hours for that kind of service. you just don't get that kind of service anymore. WELL DONE Kia. Thank You!Curtis Shewell

this is my second time shoping with this dealership, everyone is so nice from the momment you walk in the door. I really like their sincere efforts to get you the best deal no matter what it takes !. I came in the first time a year ago and worked with jason and ozzie they were both fair and patient. the second time i came in a week ago i worked with andrew, very sweet guy. He takes a personal interest in you and helps you according to your needs. If the price is not right they will work with you because that is what they did for me. Will i be back? oh yes i will. don't let me forget mike and derrick in the service deptment, what a wonderful group of guys.

This is the third car I have purchased at Summit Place Kia. The first time I visited the dealership, I was frustrated with car shopping. I had gone to other brand dealerships and was treated like I was wasting their time. From the moment I walked into Summit Place Kia I felt like I was their only customer although the showroom was very busy with other customers. My visit this time was no different. My purpose for visiting this time was to have service take a look at my Rio. The gentlemen in the service area were very attentive and immediately greeted me, listened to my concern and immediately started checking my car. The warning light on my dash indicated a problem with one of the tires. They found it right away and took it in to fix it. While they worked on the tire, I visited the show room just to see what was happening there. Again, I was greeted with a smile and handshake and Cody asked if I needed any help. I could see a used Sorento outside the showroom window and asked about it. I have wanted a Sorento for a very long time. I was able to talk to Ozzie and let him know where I needed to be for a payment. Ozzie suggested I take the Sorento for a ride and he would see what he could come up with. I drove it, fell in love and came back drooling. Jack introduced himself and walked me back to the showroom.I could write a book about the team at Summit Place Kia. They are all truly genuine, caring, respectful, kind and professional people. They work hard to provide excellent service before and after the purchase of a vehicle. It has been my pleasure to send friends and family into this awesome business.My visit ended with me purchasing a 2011 Sorento. I officially own my 3rd Kia and I know I will return for my 4th and then my 5th and then......... I do not see my relationship with Summit Place Kia ending. Not only does Kia offer a great product but Summit Place Kia offers the best service before and after the sale.Thank you to the entire staff,Carla Dombrowski

Cody was very respectful on my budget and which car I was looking for. With my credit I didnt think I could get anything, before I knew It i was driving a kia optima! Cody did exactly what he said. I went to three other dealerships before and was treated as if they didnt want my business because i had lower credit score. Exception service and I will be a sending all my business to cody! Plus he gave me lifetime oil changes for under ten dollars for life!

Come to find out I am not the only person to have an issue with the final sale contract of a new car with Summit Place Kia of Waterford (a post-purchase search of reviews shows this). The car price itself was rolled up just under four thousand dollars and was explained initially as a finance fee. After that lie was busted by the finance company, I was told something else.I was unlucky as I did not follow my gut by sleeping on the deal and the paperwork. Mostly I am bothered by the purchase because I could have gotten more features in the car given the price I am paying. Worse is that the dealership won't make it right, because of course, they got lucky and got over on me. Each time I go in there (for service), I think I leave angry or at the very least, disgusted. Their treatment in the service department is sub-par and I do much better with the local shops.I hope others have better experiences with them. At the most I just find them completely untrustworthy, but who should trust a car salesman, right?

My wife and I came to Summit Place Kia in Waterford on Fri 11-11-11 after having a bad experience at Jeffery Kia in Roseville on thurs 11-10-11. We were immediately greeted by Ryan who answered our questions about the optima that we were looking at, which happened to be the hard to find blue color that I wanted. He got keys and let us checkout the inside. We mentioned our low trade-in price that Jeffery quoted us on our current vehicle and he said that in only 15-20 mins he could have their people give us a price for it. We said sure since Jeffery took an hour to do that quote. Sure enough they came up with a much better price in only 15 mins that I agreed was a fair trade-in value. So we went inside to talk about payments. I was given a quote on the new optima but didn't have time that evening to finish the sale with Ryan, his sales manager Ozzie did come talk to us before we left. He guanteed us that he would get us the payment that we wanted, I told him we'd be back on sat 11-12-11. We came back on sat and worked with Ryan and Ozzie, they got our payment that we wanted and we bought it. We are really glad we came to Summit. We really liked Ryan and Ozzie. Very friendly and honest staff. They didn't hide any numbers from us, they explained every charge on the bill of sale. I will definately be recommending them to anybody I know thats interested in a Kia.

Just bought a 2012 Kia Sportage SX from Summit Place Kia. Love, love, love the car!!! The buying experience was great. I dealt with Mary and also the GM, Ozzie. They were helpful, friendly and low key. We negotiated a fair deal and they were open and transparent thoughtout the entire process. My car was gorgeous when I picked it up and Mary and another employee, Jack went through all of the features so that I really understood how the car worked. They did some extra services too that went above and beyond my expectations. All in all, a great buying experience.

WOW!! What a bad dealership!! When I purchased my brand new Forte EX from the dealer in Waterford, the dealership seemed to be fair and have somewhat decent customer service. Well, becuase I have to return to the dealer for Oil Changes, Warranty, and recalls, I realized just how bad this company treats people! They will do anything to get you to purchase a vehicle, but after that its all down hill. The Service Manger - a female (not sure on her name) is the WORST! Always rude and makes me extremely uncomfortable. To say the least...I feel physically sick when I know I have to go to this dealer to get my car serviced. She should be fired; there are so many other people who could easily do her job and do it while having good customer service. RUDE RUDE RUDE! Oh, and just a tip - their online appointment scheduler for service doesn't work and hasn't since I bought my car (8/2010) and they are aware, just they just don't care period. Stay away from this dealer. I plan on giving all bad customer reviews all over the web and anywhere else this dealership comes up. Rude/trashy people!!!

I have never been treated so badly before, I would never have gone to this dealership if I would have known how bad the customer service I would receive on a vehicle they sold me that had problems would have been! I am also in sales and I could never imagine treating someone so ignorant as they did me...stay away!

1. We couldn't get a straight answer on the price of the car, only the monthly payment. 2. My credit score was lower, so I knew I needed special financing. But once I said I didn't want a cosigner, the salesman walked away, keys in hand, and started working with another customer. Twenty mins later I just left. He had no intentions of coming back.Shady...to the max. I went to the ford dealership down the road and got decent treatment and a car. Avoid this place.

i have been to a few car places, all of wich were trying to get me into a car that i did not like or want.. then i went to kia, Spike the sales rep walked around with me just looking at the cars when i found my rio. he and ozzy even tho i had never bought a car before, talked to the banks pulled out all the stops and i was able to get my 2009 rio with no cosigner, and with a payment that i was asking for. this was the best experiance at a car delership that i have ever had, now i refur all my friends who are thinking about getting a car to go to KIA. they wont push you in a car you want and if you see one you like they'll do everything they can to make it happen within your terms.

My car had NO problems in the two years I owned it prior to taking it to Summit Place Kia in waterford. Two and a half months ago I had a wheel bearing break as well as a tierod. Since then it has been nothing but problems! Check engine light on for 7 weeks they couldn't determin why, and would need to keep the vehicle for weeks at a time. They would replace one or two parts and the light would continue to show up after each visit. Finally I have been check engine light free for a day and the Speedometer and Odometer stop working, the car is under warranty. I called to find out if they could get us a loaner which they said they would, we show up and they say hold on a minute we will see if we can fix it quickly and get you out of here. After 45 minutes they tell us "operator error" apparently joking....okay?? They ordered the part and said it could be a few days, and sent us back out in the defective vehicle.. This is ILLEGAL to drive....seriously I wish I had never visited this dealership it has been nothing but problematic.

Went to Summit Place to look at the Borrego and ended up buying it. They worked very hard to secure me great financing and when I brought it back for Service (oil change) I was even given a used car to drive ( I did not have an appointment). They are a great dealership and I feel that they went above and beyond.

This is the worst dealership ever! Bought the car there and have had nothing but problems. Owner LaLonde is very arrogant and rude and service manager Bowden is the same. Neither will take responsibility for mistakes they made nor will they back their vehicle and/or service warranty. Comsumer beware with these guys!

I recently brought in both my vehicles for oil changes on the recommendation of a friend. On both occasions the dealership employees were very friendly and courteous. Both oil changes were done very quickly and the price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a great place for service. While I was there, I also had a chance to browse through their inventory of new and used Kias as well as many other nice looking used cars. I would highly recommend this dealer!

Summit Place Kia is a pretty new Kia Dealership in Metro Detroit. I found them on Kia's main dealer locater page. We choose to drive about an hour and a half to check out thier used kia's and we were welcomed by huge smiling faces. The dealership had alot to choose from including new and used Kia's as well as many other manufacturer's.
