Excellent service. The service advisor Mitchell was professional from the moment I drove in. He greeted me and after I explained I was there for a recall/issue he went ahead and advised me of how long the service would take. He even checked the system to see if I had a plan to cover my oil change at my current mileage and advise me to come back within a certain mileage range. I didn’t even know my plan had these stipulations. I decided to wait for my car and it turned out that the recall service was even quicker than he advised it would be. I’ve been to other Hyundai service stations in AL and NJ and by far Mitchell and Tameron Hyundai are the best.

Very hard working and dedicated team. The vehicle I wanted was sold, just minutes before my arrival. They worked with other dealers to find an alternate, and they were successful. To have that kind of reputation when vehicle supplies are tight, was an indication of how well they operate this auto group. Will consider them again on my next purchase.

I was in the dealership with my girlfriend who just purchased a 2017 Sante Fe and 2014 for her daughter. Was going to buy another Toyota Avalon and the sales people showed me the Genesis. I was very impressed with the car and liked the one they had on the floor so I purchased it. My girlfriend had purchased a 10yr/100,000 mile extended warranty for both her Santa Fe's. She was also given free oil changes for some amount of time (I'm not sure exactly how long). The 2014 Santa Fe was for her daughter who lives in the area. The 2017 was hers and she lives 5 hours from Birmingham. The dealer explicitly told her the oil changes were good at "any Hyundai dealership". It turns out that they were only good at the one in Birmingham. They did offer to reimburse her for oil changes made anywhere else but we feel it was misrepresented. When I was in with financing after purchasing my vehicle I told them I wanted "the same extended warranty" my girlfriend had purchased for her Santa Fe. I discovered after I got the bill of sale that there was a $2,750 charge for "aftermarket". The sales price for the vehicle also didn't match what was shown on the Circle Certificate used to purchase my vehicle. When I started asking questions I was told the "aftermarket" charges were for additional warranties I purchased in financing? The dealership has offered to send me forms to cancel the additional coverage's. I am trying now to get those forms to cancel as the service coverage is only good at their dealership not the one closest to me (Daphne, AL).

Randall was waiting for me at my appointed time. The service was completed in the promised time. Other than the high labor cost, I am very satisfied with the service. One small thing is that, if you're promised an exterior detail, at least the windshield and rear window should be included. They didn't look like they had been touched. Even a coin operated automatic car wash at the gas station gets the windows clean.

We have bought several cars from different dealerships in central Alabama and this was by far one of the best experiences we have ever had. Everyone we met treated us professionally and with a smile. We live an hour away and had done research to find the specific car we wanted from their online inventory. We called earlier that day to let them know we were coming later that evening and they informed us that they were pulling the car around and putting our name on it. When we arrived, it was sparkling clean inside a roped off area with our name on a card hanging from the rear view mirror. Talk about service!!!

Excellent. I had an emergency repair to repair the shift linkage as I was unable to put the car in park. This occurred while I was visiting Birmingham on business. Service was fast and courteous. I received the evaluation and plan for repair within an hour and all work including some elective work was completed in 6 hours. I was very happy to not have to rent a car for the completion of my trip.

The folks at Tameron quickly diagnosed my problem (faulty range sensor on the keyless start) and had it ready to pick up right on schedule. I dropped it off this time, but when I stick around for a standard service visit their lounge/waiting area is comfortable and good for getting some work done.

Very happy with my new car and all of the great service I received. Everyone made the car buying process extremely easy and exciting, the way it should feel. I was very thankful for the quick and attentive service, especially because my mom was with me on a very hot day and we had already been to several dealerships with unsatisfactory results.The sales person, Mark Hodgson, was very aware of how hot and tired we were and accommodated us immediately with cold water, snacks, and some time to cool down in the air conditioning, which I greatly appreciated for my mother's sake. Honestly I have had some bad experiences with dealership people who don't listen to what you want and what payments you can make. I personally was dreading the whole experiance after the other places we'd been. But Mark paid close attention to what I wanted and was quick to make relevant suggestions to get me just the kind of car I wanted at the right price and monthly payment. I love my car and everything since has been smooth sailing! I will not hesitate to recommended Tameron Hyundai to all my friends and family.

My salesperson who took care of me when I was at this car dealership was Cherie England. She really knew her product, and she made me and my family feel like we were important. She listened to what we wanted, and she did everything in hear power to make it happen. She really knew her product, and when she didn't quite know the answer, she would go and ask someone for the answer. This was hands down the best service that I have ever received at a car dealership, and I would highly recommend for anybody to go to this dealership.

I am most pleased with my new Genesis. The HID headlights, LED fog lights, and LED full-time driving lights call attention to the beautiful body design. Inside is even more pleasing. The ivory high grade leather, the real wood and aluminum trim are very noticeable. I like the welcoming sounds and images. While waiting for a friend to come to the dealership, sitting in the showroom, Marcus Hughes came up to me and introduced himself. We only just talked, small talk, not about cars! I owned a 2014 Tucson and had been wanting some extra features that came with the Santa Fe, but my Tucson was perfect and I was not sure that I was ready to buy a new car! While talking to Marcus, I just mentioned that someday I was going to trade my car for the Santa Fe - I started the conversation of buying -- not Marcus! He just came over since I waiting by myself. It was just talking!Marcus never pressured me into buying, he only showed me the Santa Fe and the new lines for 2017. I told Marcus about my budget and that was all I could do, he understood actually where I "needed to be" if I were to surprise myself and buy a new Santa Fe. I left the dealership that day without the car but with so much to think about. Again, no pressure from Marcus, but a phone call and "how are you" - I made the appointment to talk to Marcus again.I bought the perfect Santa Fe, Marcus and ALL the Finance Department worked with me to allow me to buy the 2017 Santa Fe that next visit.I did not NEED a new car, but working with the Marcus Hughes at Tameron Hyundai made it so easy to purchase what I really wanted and with all the features I was asking for!Just the first "Hello" from Marcus, to working with the Finance Team, to learning about the Santa Fe, to knowing the Maintenance Department is excellent totally made my new Santa Fe well worth the buy....even if I did not know I was ready to buy a new car!I would recommend Marcus Hughes as the person you would like to talk to, just talk, and then work with for the car you want.

Overall it was a pleasant experience except for 1 thing. I asked for copies of all the papers I signed. I mean "all" signed papers... all I got was the title and info to take to DEPT OF MOTOR VEHICLES I know I signed numerous documents in the salesman's office and the finance office. You would have though by the reaction I got I was asking for something unheard of. I'm still waiting for them to be mailed My second request was to Jason the used car sales mgr). Adam the salesman never returned my call for the request of all signed documents.I called him 2 times 2 days after the sale and left 1 message on his cell. The sale was on Saturday April 23rd 2016. I called him Monday April 25th. Then talked with Jason the sales manager the same day when Adam had not returned my call by 3:30 that afternoon. "Our sales person, Shannon Cowart was fantastic. I found this Santa Fe on Tameron's web site and inquired about it by e-mail. Shannon sent me a video of the actual Santa Fe showing most of the features (this is a great selling tool). I then requested one price for the vehicle, an out the door price with all fees etc. taken into account. I was very satisfied with the price, and my wife and I made an appointment to travel to the dealership which is about 125 miles away from our home. Upon our arrival, Shannon had the car cleaned up, and actually roped off in their lot, with a ""sold"" sign on it. That's confidence !..The price was as promised. and all the paperwork went through smoothly. We weren't sure we wanted to trade in our existing car, but we had them appraise it, and the trade in price was very good, so we did trade it in. Not only did we talk about cars, but many things in life as well. I feel we were treated very well, being the first time at this dealership. We were approved for the financing by the lending institution, before we got to the finance office. I have purchased about 15 cars in the past 45 years, and this was one of the best if not the best buying experience we have ever had."

Shannon Cowart, our sales person, had sent me a video of the actual Santa Fe I was interested in, and then gave me the best price of all the dealers we were considering. She was great to work with, very friendly, and did not pressure us in any way. They also gave us a very good price for our trade in, more than I expected. Cars are so expensive, that people need to do their homework before going to a dealer to discuss pricing. With on line pricing quotes, you can see how close you can come to what you want to spend, without leaving your home. I had an e-mail quote from Shannon ahead of time, and she had the e-mail on her desk when we arrived, and the price was honored. I would not hesitate to purchase another vehicle from them. I had a repair as well as a 'Recall' issue to be performed. The initial visit determined the problems and a subsequent visit was scheduled since parts needed to be ordered and time didn't allow me to leave the vehicle for an extra day. The second visit went smoothly. The service adviser kept me up to date on the repairs and they were completed in the time frame promised. Everything seems to be completely repaired and the car was definitely cleaner when I picked it up than when dropped off. Overall a pleasant experience.

In November I got my second car from Tameron Hyundai. While I LOVE their vehicles, they always mess up my paperwork and both times have been a hassle and a headache. I turned in my Santa Fe in November and got a Tuscon and just the other day (in March) they called me at dinner time, saying that they need me to come by and sign another form that got overlooked. I live on the other side of town from their dealership. The so called gentleman that called was named Corky and he offered no apology at all for the inconvenience and when I expressed my frustration, he proceeded to smirk at me and yelled "Jesus!!!!" in the phone in my ear, while proceeding to tell me that he is just the messenger. My husband overheard the conversation and was furious. I demanded to speak with a manager who at first offered no apology for the way I was treated or for the continued hassle with the paperwork. Though I love Hyundai vehicles, I will never have another one because I do not want my hard earned money to go toward paying salaries for such rude, incompetent people. In their defense, their GM and Billy in the finance office are wonderful. Unfortunately, that does not bleed down to the rest of their staff. I'd rather pay more money for a vehicle than to be disrespected and talked ugly to. Never had these problems with Acura, Honda, or Nissan!!! Will be happy to give them my business again. I regret ever giving Hyundai a chance! Lesson learned!

shopping for our new car was easy because CORY Hooper was so knowledgable about the car. He let us drive the car enough to get the feel for the car on the highway and interstate.The sales manager came out with the correct financing information that we had requested.Even though the car had a bad sensor on it and we had trouble with it after about 2 days of ownership,Cory was quick to offer his assistance and the mechanic shop solved the problem.We pretty much dealt we the dealership as a whole and got to the bottom of the problem. It is scary to buy a new car and have problems so soon but as soon as the issue was corrected we have not had any more problems.

I am very particular about which car I wanted. I wanted a 2016 white Sonata Limited with the tech package/Certain accessories. Tameron Hyundai was the only dealer in Alabama that had the exact car that I wanted. My wife and I made a trip from Montgonery to test drive the car. We met Corky at the door. He was expecting us as I had contacted them the day before our visit. As it was a cold day, He brought the car around and let it warm up a bit before our test drive. Corky explained every detail of the vehicle to our satisfaction. After the test drive, it was getting towards lunch. I suggested that my wife and I go to lunch and come back to complete the paperwork. Corky suggested a closeby eatery and then he said he would get our lunch. (Nice touch). Everything was professionally done from the test drive to the paperwork. It was well worth the 78 miles each way to Tameron Hyundai. I have the exact car that I wanted at a fair price, Can't ask for anything more than that. My experience with Tameron Hyundai in one word - Outstanding.

I brought my Genesis to Tameron after driver's side mirror came off a couple of days before Thanksgiving. Was able to go on-line and make an appointment early the next day. When I drove into the service department, I was greeted right away. Very professional and caring staff that work here. Their waiting area is high end much like Lexus. I did not have to wait long at all. The part had to be ordered and arrived the Friday after Thanksgiving. I was only there between 5 to 10 minutes max! I will be taking my car here from now on...highly recommend!

Buying a used car can be stressful, but the process was made enjoyable by the staff of Tameron Hyundai. Our salesman, Ron Eggers, was wonderful. He has a great sense of humor and is just a real, down-to-earth, nice person. He helped us find a great used car within our very limited budget that surpassed our "wish list." He walked us through the entire process and kept us laughing all the way. The management team was great too. They truly seem to have the customer's best interest at heart. Sure, they're in business to make a profit, but I really felt like they wanted us to get the best car available. In fact, when the first car we wanted failed to pass their inspection, they refused to sell it and instead gave us much better options. We ended up with a beautiful, gently used car for a great price. Financing was made easy too. The whole experience was pretty amazing. I had already test drove a veloster and knew that was the car I wanted. The dealership in my town did not have the color I wanted, so I went online and found the color I wanted at Tameron in Hoover and emailed them to ask if they still had it. They emailed me back quickly and said they did have it. I told them I was an hour away and would be on my way to get it. Jay Johnson sent me a personalized video of the car and I texted him and told him I did want it and to get it ready. My daughter took her Hyundai Sonata to Tameron Hyundai in Hoover for an oil change . The service advisor was Todd Hill . On the multipoint inspection report that they gave to my daughter they stated that she needs to replace the cabin air filter and the engine filter and that made me very mad because they just did this service on the car last time. The cabin air filter was replaced last time and the engine filter was replaced on the last oil change so I am confused , have they checked the filters or they just make up things . Plus they performed other unnecessary services for an additional 120 dollars . I am very angry and not happy .The cabin air filter and engine air filter were replaced on the last oil change and I paid an additional 82 dollars last time for the replacement and now they are saying that they are bad and need replacement . Something is wrong . Why they keep stating that the cabin filter needs replacement ??? These guys knew the product, from the sales team to finance. I have never had a better experience in my life with a car dealership. Normally I would never ever bring my car back to a dealer for service but I will definitely be back for all my service and I have NEVER done that. I have owned Infiniti, Porsche, BMW, Toyota, Mazda, Nissan, Dodge and Lexus. This Veloster is my favorite vehicle by far. I have never filled out a survey for any other dealership and I am doing this because of the incredible experience we had. Everyone was awesome and we will be back to this dealership again.

They didn't try to push me into a sale I wasn't comfortable with like other dealers do, and at the time I wasn't ready to buy so they gave me an estimate as to what my payments would look like. The prices were so good I bought that day. We went for a test drive and I was shown all the features of the car. Lori Muir was wonderful to talk to and made purchasing easy for me considering this was my first time to buy a car on my own. I recommend this dealer to everyone and will go back for my next vehicle purchase.

My husband and I just bought a brand new Hyundai Volster. Well, it's really my husband's. :-) Alex Evans was our car salesman who was so knowledgeable on everything. He was able to answer any question I had. I have bought many cars so far and he has become the best car salesman I have ever dealt with. He was always explaining everything to ensure we didn't have questions, always beaming with happiness, which makes you feel good and making sure we were comfortable at all times. I usually dread a trip to the dealership because it means you entire day will be wasted but not at this dealership. The prices are great, they offer awesome incentives and they make sure you are in and out. My husband and I just bought a 2015 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid from Tameron. I usually don't go with my husband because I get SOOOO FRUSTRATED during the process or I end up leaving and letting my husband deal with the salesman. This time was so dramatically different! We had Alex Evans as our salesman and Richard Wall was working with him. Walt Lee finalized the deal and we bought extended insurance from him. Alex Evans was so knowledgeable and friendly. He explained everything so that we could understand and he made sure we REALLY understood. I never saw anything but a smile on his face and he made us so comfortable about everything, from understanding all our options of the sale, all about the car we were interested in, and offering us something to drink at least 3 times. Anytime he had to talk to his boss, Richard Wall, only took minutes and Mr. Wall was also very accommodating. He came out, introduced himself and was very friendly. I liked that they both never seemed hurried or frustrated and it was late in the evening. Alex went for a ride with us in the new car and showed us everything about it. We are older people and this young salesman was wonderfully patient, as was Mr. Richard Wall and Walt Lee. I have already recommended this dealership and these employees to several people. I can't say enough good things about our experience there and all because of Richard, Walt and Alex (especially). I will NEVER go anywhere else to buy a car again! Thanks again, guys. I called at 830AM about a mazda rx8 with 109k miles on it. They said they had to talk to the sales manager for the price, which wasn't listed. I never heard back and it was 12PM and I called back, asked please can I get a price because I am shopping around, I'm from Atlanta. I fill out there application and they still don't give me a price. I don't hear anything and its now 3pm and I call back to speak with Larry the sales manager. He first was rude with his tone and the words he choose to use. His said that he cant come down on the price and it was competitive with online. I then informed him that the online prices where high his 8,500k for the car. The other cars on autotrader for the same miles are cheaper and as well on carguru. I informed him that someone in atlanta has one same year and less miles for 5,999.k. He said BUY THAT ONE, not trying to work with me and was rude. I was taken back and asked him why are you being rude and your lacking customer service. I informed him, I clearly like the RED mazda and want that one, ready to drive to Alabama from Atlanta to get it and put down 3k but work with me on the price. He said NO, its competitive with online but I dont compete with ATLANTA. The online prices are below what he is asking for his RX8 and its over priced. There looking to sucker someone into it, whom has not done research on the car with that many miles. Bad business and I'll take my money, business and referrals to another dealer ship with respect and negotiation tactics. If your gonna be FIRM on a price, give reasons why. Use bedside manners and sell. Try to Upsell the price and state why you believe XYZ is right not just be rude over the phone. Use tactics and negotiate with potential buyers, use some grace. Guess I'm buying the RX8 here in ATLANTA, good job Larry or used car sales manager. Just my experience with them ThanksJoel

I had the privilege of working a deal with Davey Pavey on a trade situation for a truck. Davey took my situation and family to heart and handled everything in a way that made me feel important and cared for. Everyone I met on their team worked together to ensure that everyone was happy at the end of the day and that's just the best way to do business. Needed to purchase a reliable vehicle with good gas mileage for our son. We researched and decided on a Hyundai Elantra. Tameron had the best selection of vehicles at the best price in town. Davey Pavey was our salesman and was wonderful showing us the vehicles in our price range. Our trade in was valued too low at first, but with some negotiation, we were able to get a fair deal all around on the car we thought would best fit our son's needs. My wife and I went into the dealership with no real intent to buy but more to find what car we might want to look at more. As soon as we walked in, we immediately noticed the laid back and no pressure atmosphere of the dealership when we met our sales guy Davey P. He was very warm and personable and it was obvious that he wanted to understand our needs before trying to sell us something we did not want or a car out of our price range. Davey grabbed some keys for a black Hyundai Tuscon that almost perfectly matched the description of what we were looking for and we went on a very enjoyable test drive with him. It was a very easy interaction and we did not feel pressured at all. My wife ended up not really liking the leather option on the car so instead of trying to upsell us, Davey immediately found another car with exactly what we asked and we were sold! Davey and the Tameron team worked very hard to make sure we were able to get the finances where we needed them to be and they were very thorough in the entire sales and financing process. Overall, this was an excellent experience and Davey in particular really kept my wife and I interested in working with Tameron. We'll definitely be pointing our friends in Tameron's direction!!

I was shopping for an Elantra when I came across a 2013 at Tameron Hyundai. After reading some reviews I called and asked if the vehicle was still available. I talked to the sales manager who was very polite and friendly. I drove up the 2 hrs to see the vehicle. I bought it for 13,900 and drove it home in less than an hour. I was very pleased with the entire process.

I previously owned a 2009 Genesis which, although I did not buy at Tameron, I had serviced there. About 18 months ago I traded it for another vehicle but became dissatisfied with that vehicle. Coincidentally, I noticed that Tameron had a 2014 fully-loaded, Certified Pre-Owned Genesis for sale that had been the dealer's loaner car. Despite only having a couple of thousand miles on it, Tameron had discounted it significantly. I stopped by to check it out and to confirm what, if any, packages, were installed. Upon arriving I met sales person Darren Leonard, who couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating of my time and schedule. He did not pressure me to buy (well, not inappropriately, anyway) and answered all of my questions. I was quickly given an out-the-door price with no hidden add-ons and while the initial offer I was given for my trade-in was low, ultimately they gave me a fair price for my trade-in based on Auto Trader's purchase/trade-in offer program. The remainder of our negotiations were done in a couple of brief telephone calls and the entire process, from my initial visit to taking a test drive to completing all of the paperwork, took about 4 hours over the course of two days. And now I'll be back in Tameron's service department, where Manager Joe Bajalia has provided outstanding service in the past and no doubt will again.

So my car broke down for good last week. I was shopping all over town until I decided to start looking on line. I live Downtown so I went to a few dealers close to me but had a terrible experience at both. A friend told me about Tameron Hyundai after she bought a car there. I contacted them by email about a few cars they had in stock. I arranged an appointment to drive them. When I arrived at the store they had the car pulled up with my name and a hold sign in it. Everyone was so nice. I give them 5 stars because the whole process was easy, quick and actually fun.

I visited Tameron in search for a Hyundai Sonata Limited edition. I was thrilled with I found one that was a great price and then the disappointment came in. Seemingly overnight the price jumped up $1,800. When I spoke to the sales rep he said they would honor the special lower price because I contacted them prior to the price increase... I was thrilled. Then after filling out some paperwork to check my credit the sales rep comes back and tells me that his manager wasn't going to honor the lower price because that deal ended the day before and there was some elusive $1,800 "shop ticket". I left frustrated and disrespected. I felt as though the manager was trying to take advantage of me because I am a 28 year old woman. To make matters worse the dealership never produced said shop ticket or even called to follow up with me the next day. Out of stubbornness and self-respect I am choosing to spend even more money on a different car at another dealership because of my experience at Tameron.

Purchased a 2015 Sonata Limited in August. Looked at the Honda and Kia and was most impressed with the Hyundai. Not only the car but the way I was treated. Felt know pressure and was not rushed into a decision. Very happy with the price and the service. My salesman, Alex Marefka , was extremely courteous and work hard to help me get a great deal. After driving the car for almost a month I am more impressed now than when I bought it. Replace an Acura TL with the Sonata, never thought the Sonata would be nicer than the Acura, but it is. I only wish that Hyundai offered a 6 cylinder in the Sonata.

Tamerons sales and finance professionals are top notch and they stand by their products whether you are buying a new or used vehicle. My story didnt begin with a five star experience but it ended with one. I purchased a used Tucson at a great price. My salesman, Nick Foster took care of us and got us through negotiations without any hiccups. We got what we asked for with minimal resistance. Tim Provost, in finance, processed the paperwork and made us feel comfortable throughout the process. All was well. 9 days after our purchase we were informed by Tim that the car had been wrecked and repaired prior to our purchase. Not the best thing you want to hear, but let me tell you how refreshing it is to deal with the team like Hyundai who make integrity and honesty a priority in their day-to-day. The wreck was not on Carfax or Autocheck so no harm no foul. They purchased their car back with no penalties imposed on myself. Still though, I was ready to walk away. One of the owners, Rob Gallik, learned of what had happened and met with me personally. I was very impressed with this alone. He apologized for the inconvenience and offered us several options if we were still interested in buying with them. His personal touch and a great deal (we think) put us in a new car that day (Sonata). Our salesman on the new car side was Daniel Pereira. Great guy! Very mellow and we did not feel pressured with him during our time together. Really we felt no pressure to take any deal at all but Robs offer was hard to refuse. Overall I rate these guys a perfect score because of the way we felt after the ordeal was over. Our two week long relationship was a bit strenuous at times but they came through in the end treating us like family (the kind you like). Thanks Nick, Tim, Rob, and Dan. Overall I rate these guys a perfect score because of the way we felt after the ordeal was over. I came to Tameron Hyundai for service on this particular day and was greeted by Corey Hooper. We discussed the issues I was having with my car. While waiting on me and answering all questions that I had, Corey showed me the new Sonata. I test drove the Sonata and fell in love. I was reluctant to show any emotions because I really loved my 2006 Hyundai Tucson, but I had to come to the realization that my car had served its purpose and it was time for me to move on. Corey assured me that the 2014 Sonata was a very good purchase and a safe investment for my family. He put my mind at ease! I am glad about the purchase that I made. I know that I am In a safe and reliable vehicle. This is my third Hyundai purchase and I'm glad I continued with the Hyundai family. Corey even called to see if everything was going good with my car. I purchased the vehicle back on 11 Jan 2014. I waited till now, 22 Feb, to report my experience due to waiting for them to fulfill their oral promises. It's been four weeks and I was almost ready to call their manager a liar and a cheat. But yesterday, all of their promises were completed and I was satisfied, although I think it was dragged out a little longer than necessary. Being satisfied with the used car purchase from them, we're ready to purchase a new car from the same dealer.

I was in the market for a SUV for my 4 year old and me. It was important that the SUV have all the safety features, gas mileage, style, and price I could afford. I compared the Santa Fe to Honda CRV, Toyota Highlander, and Toyota RAV and none of them had all the features included as standard. Larry Johnson, my sales associate did not try to pressure me to purchase the Santa Fe that day or play any of the tactics I have come accustom to being a single woman walking into a dealership. two weeks later, I came back and bought my brand new Hyundai Santa Fe Sport!!!! My first new car. I am happy with the experience of buying a new car. I was also surprised how quickly the process went. I arrived at 9 AM and was leaving the dealership by 1 PM; the delay was finding a dealership in the state that had the color I wanted since it was not on the lot. I was looking for another Ford truck to replace my '89 F150 when I saw this beautiful blue '09 F150 sitting on Tameron's lot. When I went in to check on it, I had the good fortune of having Gary Johnston come out to take care of me. Gary was great! He's warm, personable, very knowledgeable and put absolutely no pressure on me to buy. I had numerous questions about this truck and he answered them all honestly and then went and got his boss Larry to help answer questions too. I arrived on a Saturday afternoon to take a look at a new Hyundai Santa Fe. Upon arrival I was quickly greeted by a staff member named Richard who promptly took me inside and introduced me to Corky Hurt. I explained that I was only in the brand shopping phase and Corky immediately began to show me my options. After selecting three different vehicles, Corky very patiently explained each vehicle and took me for a test drive in all three, he treated me as if he KNEW I was going to purchase a car there even though he had know way of knowing whether or not I was a serious buyer. I took up almost 2 hours of his time and he never pushed or prodded or became intolerant of my shopping methodology. I would give him 10 stars for salesmanship and personability if available. Once I decided on the Santa Fe, I explained that I would have to bring my husband along on Monday to talk specifics. He graciously accepted my decision and handed me his business card. I returned on the day as agreed upon and Corky immediately offered another test ride in the vehicle of my choice and offered to let my husband test drive it as well. We both agreed it was the vehicle we wanted and we went inside to negotiate. Corky fought for the price we could pay and he and the finance staff went to bat for us with the available finance companies. A deal agreement was made and my new vehicle was cleaned and delivered to me while I was completing the business transactions. No hassle , no delays and no worries, made my Tameron Hyuandai experience a most enjoyable one and I will definitely recommend them to anyone.

I went in to look at a 2008 Lexus IS250 on a Thursday after I got off work, after test driving it with the Salesman Larry Shingler I decided Id like to buy it. I told Larry many many times what I needed for a payment,but they couldn't meet my requirements because they refused to come off any on the price of the car, we did however come to an agreement on a price I could live with. The sales staff do not care about your time, they DO NOT get in any kind of a hurry, after signing all of the salesmans papers I now had to deal with Seth Starnes, this man is the biggest dimwit I have ever incountered, no people skills what so ever, I don't know how he got that job. I sign all the papers but was informed I had to submit a recent paycheck stub and a social security card, I informed them that I had already wasted enough time there at the dealership and that I would have to return on Monday with the documents they requested. Seth looks at my paycheck stub and questions me on it because it was different than what they sent in to the bank, I informed him that the salesman Larry Shingler came up with the number that they sent into the bank because I told Larry that I didn't know an exact total on my income that it was so up and down,he told me that it didn't matter. I asked Seth if the bank would change something and the dimwit tells me that he didn't know, and he acted like he didn't really care,told me that he would call me the next morning, which he didn't call me, I had to call the salesman that afternoon, Larry returned my call and told me that everything was ok and that they would mail me my paper work, that was a Tuesday, Saturday came and no paperwork, so I called Larry, he told me it was mailed, I waited a few more days called larry again,which he didn't return my call, now its Thursday the 1st,14 days after I signed the paperwork and I still don't have it, so I went there to see them in person and Seth tells me "oh yeah, let me go get you your paperwork", it was there the whole time, they never mailed it, I told Seth that I only have 20 days to transfer my car tag and I was going out of town on vacation in two days, and this dimwit just shrugged his shoulders and gave me a "So what" look, and Larry Shingler didn't care, he had already went back to his desk and was stuffing his face. As I said, it was an Awful experience and I DO NOT recommend Tameron Hyundai to buy a car from, Very uncaring staff, I tell everyone about how bad I was treated at Tameron Hyundai

Charlie Andrews asked me what I was looking for upon my arrival at the dealership, what features I wanted, and addressed those points first. Then he added technical data about the Santa Fe Sport 2.0Turbo and the 2.4. My wife and I drove both models and decided on the 2.0T. We came to a reasonable price with the help of James Spivey, and we bought it without any of the sales pressure you expect from dealerships.Both Charley and James LISTENED to what I had to say, and met our needs. My wife drove it from Birmingham to Destin, Florida, and called me when she arrived saying it was the smoothest most comfortable ride she had experienced (she drives a Mercedes), and was looking forward to taking trips in this vehicle. Now we believe that Charlie, James and the Santa Fe Sport 2.0T exceeded our expectations. I would not normally take the time to post anything on a website about my buying experiences. However I am doing it for the following reasons:*I did not want to run out of car before I ran out of payments. Hyundai's 200,000 mi/20-yr warranty cannot be beaten.*I talked to several dealerships. I know what my 1996, high mileage, 11 miles to the gallon car is worth and everyone except Tammeron wanted to play a trade-in game with me. I asked Mike McQuire what he thought about my trade-in. He straight out told me "not much", they they would only wholesale the car, the best thing for me was to try to sell it outright to an individual. The price he offered was accurate. I asked Mike a straight question and he gave me a truthful straight answer. This was very refreshing and timely. Earlier in the day I visited the dealer claiming to give you $5000 more than Blue Book for your trade. If you think someone is just going to give you $5,000 more than your car is worth, you will reconfirm the old saying if it's too good to be true. You will also have a very bad experience if you go down this road. Mike knew trying to put any pressure on me, playing any type of game, or to give me any reason to think I was not getting right and true full answers would work against him. Mike also knew I was talking to other dealers. He stayed the course, did not come back with a lower price a day or two later. He gave me the best price up front and in the fullness of time, I proved to myself he was right. Also in the fullness of time I proved to myself a number of reasons I'm glad I walked away from the other dealerships. The other dealers would call me frequently always with a better deal. Do you really want to deal with moving target or a salesperson that is going to play you?

Worst experience ever. I walked onto the lot to buy a Blue Elantra Coupe SE. i waited 15 minutes and no sales person came to assist me. I then walked to the offices and proceeded to wait another 10 minutes. While standing outside sales trailer, still no help. I then walked into trailer and initiated a conversation with an employee asking to see a recommended sales person. I was told he was no longer there. At this point they asked me my name and I obliged. No introduction on their part. Conversation ended there and they proceeded to go back to their computers. Too bad they lost a sale that would have happened that very day. May try another Hyundai dealership, but won't return to Tameron.

To start off with was quoted 18k for my trade in. When bank received the price sheet from the dealer she alerted me that they had my trade listed as 17k. Mistakes happen so we met in the middle at 17.5 K no problem. About 30 minutes later my insurance company called and said the vin provided didnt match the vehicle description. I was quoted a 2.0 turbo Santa Fe and the dealer sent me a vin for a 2.4L Santa Fe at higher cost than the 2.0 with the upgraded engine. Called the dealership again and another mistake on their part. Called my bank again and asked her to email me a copy of the price sheet sent over from Tamerono, they had added $199 for nitrogen in the tires. Called dealer yet a 3rd time and they took it off. Drove close to 100 miles to the dealership. Was about to sign the final papers and yet another suprise...they needed to see my tag receipt for proof i owned a hyundai in order to get a loyality rebate...never mind my trade in Sonata was sitting right there in front of them. So I could either cut them a check for $500 and they hold it till i went 100 miles back to Montgomery and fax them a receipt. At this point I'm like screw this, give me my keys to my trade in back and I will take my business else where. The manager tried to save the deal but I had had my fill of doing business with Tameron

My husband and I wanted a Hyundai Elantra GT since was released in August 2012. We first look at every single feature of the car and compared it with other cars of the same category and then came the decision on where to go to look at the car. Our previous experience with car dealerships can be described as painful, annoying, pushy...etc. So, this time we did our research before deciding where to go. The first thing that we did was to check the different dealers in the area, reviews etc. We saw consistent good reviews for Tameron Hyundai and checked the Elantra GT cars that they had in their inventory on-line. From there inventory we were interested in looking at 2 specific cars with slightly different packages. We received response the very same day with internet quotes, and a personalized video showing the actual car that we were interested in. In the video Mike McGuire showed us very thoroughly the exterior and interior of the car. We were impressed and decided to visit Tameron Hyundai and set an appointment with Mike McGuire. The experience in person was fantastic, Mike McGuire is an excellent professional, very honest, he asked what we really wanted and never pushed us. Once we decided which car we wanted and after test-driving it, he explain us thoroughly every feature of the car,and every single form that we have to sign for the purchase and the trade in of our old car. I will recommend Tameron Hyundai and Mike McGuire to anybody interested in purchasing a Hyundai.

Mike McGuire provided the best customer service that I've ever experienced. Here are some of the things he did that I found special:1) he sent an e-mail response to my Internet request for information that included a video he made which showed some nice features the Sonata had. Note he didn't call me first. 2) we made a definite appointment for the day and time I wanted for which he was punctual. 3) when I got there he had two cars that I had expressed interest in the color I wanted. They were the two types of Sonata Limited - regular and Turbo both in red which I told him that I really wanted. These were the only 2 cars I looked at because they both met my criteria exactly. I wound up getting the Turbo because it didn't cost that much more. 3) even though the dealership was about to close Mike spent time showing me the key features that I needed to know before I drove off into the night. He then watched as I showed him that I understood everything. 4) also he helped me clean out my old car's trunk which was not an easy task . All in all I would recommend Mike to anyone who is interested in buying a Hyundai. I also liked him talking about touring the Hyundai plant in Montgomery. We both like that this car was made in Alabama.

Ms Cowart is nice enough but not very up front with pricing. When Ms. Cowart was talking about what my monthly payment would be, she folded the paper with the car's total price,and wrote the monthly calculations on the back of the paper. I did not realize she had upped the sales price of the car (from sticker price $26,615.00 to $28,000.00).Most Salespeople are nice and attentive when they are trying to sell you something. It is their response to you after you have signed the paperwork when you are unhappy about the purchase that counts the most. I would never purchase another car from Ms. Cowart again.

I purchased a 2010 Hyundai Accent, so I can serve my country as a proud U. S Army National Guard soldier and back forth to my other job. Not even a month, the brakes locked up on me while making a turn. I ran up on the curb. I constantly went to Tameron about the problem and all they can say is that this car does this after every 15,000 miles. When I got the car, it had 44,000 miles on it. When I start experiencing this problem, it was about 46,000 miles (confused). Less than 6 months, I continue to go to Tameron with the same problem and all they did was just clean off the brakes and apologize. I also stated to have problems with the transmission and that the engine would sometimes flash. The car started holding back and the lead mechanic said that this was caused by the car getting jumped off, but I never got my car jumped off. I tried to get them to buy the car back because I went to them four times about the problems. All they said is that they can only trade it out and not buy it. The negative equity was extremely high because a Hyundai Accent value drops tremendously after leaving the lot. I feel like Tameron Hyundai does not handle the problems in the interest of the customer. I think selling a car and not a life is their motto. For me to travel to different places and every time I drove this car, I felt fear. Thank God that I am out of this car and found a better dealership that deals with the interest of the customer.

Shannon was a great salesperson. She was very attentive to what I was looking for and worked to get me in a vehicle that I would enjoy at the price that I can afford. She showed me quite a few cars. It was very nice having a female salesperson to deal with.I have no complaints with her. I would give her all 5's as a salesperson and send people to her that are interested in a Hyundai . The problem I had was with financing and a service contract that was added to the price of the vehicle. I did not ask for the contract and it was not explained to me that it would be added. Also, I was given a higher interest rate and longer term loan than was needed due to the service contract being added. I called back once I reviewed the contract and was assured that the problem would be taken care of. The problem was corrected the next morning and the service contract removed and better interest rate and shorter term given to me. I will caution my friends that are interested in buying a Hyundai to go over the contract fully and not just trust that it is what it should be. I have bought several cars and this purchase caused me a sleepless night not because of buyer's remorse but because of the feeling of distrust once I discovered what was done. Even though it was corrected, it was a bad experience. I truly appreciate that it was corrected. I was not happy about that part of the car buying experience and caused me doubt as to whether I really got the best deal that I could have gotten.

Every staff member I met/worked with that day was phenominal. They greeted me as I walked in the door, asked if I would like something to drink, and really made me feel "at home" while I was there. I went in with a much less than perfect credit situation and never once did they say "We can't work with that". Instead, they simply replied with "We can make something work". And that they did. I went to that dealership full of nerves and bad vibes since I had just left the KIA dealership down the road and they had given me a big fat NO. But immediately after arriving at Tameron, I knew I'd be going home in a new car that I'd be more than happy with. Jeremy, the finance manager, also told me ways to better build my credit so that I'll have an even smoother process in the future! That day, I came onto that lot in a 2006 Ford Taurus that had a lot of dents, dings, and miles. I left that day, however, in a beautiful Red 2011 Hyundai Accent that fits me to a T. I love it! And I love all the staff there for making my first car buying experience so wonderful. I will definitely be back in the future :)

Terrible experience with Tameron Hyundai. Was never actually shown a car and was made to feel like I had no idea what I was doing. Didn't feel like the sales person was interested in working with me AT ALL. If he had been smart, he would have let me drive the car first, then talked money afterwards. But he didn't. Bascially told me I couldn't afford the car I was interested in and then let me walk (after I had only been there for 15 minutes!). Would not recommend this dealership to anyone, much less a woman buying on her own.

I was in a very difficult situation when I went into Tameron Hyundai last weekend and I desperately needed help. As a 25 year old female, you can imagine I was extremely anxious about buying a new car. On top of this task, I also had 2 cars that needed to be traded in and was really hoping for a good deal. I'm not talented with negotiating and I was afraid of the cliche car salesmen you see on movies, so I brought my mom and brother along for the ride.As soon as I stepped into Mike's office, I immediately felt comfortable. After that statement, I was able to put my guard down and just be honest, while knowing I was in good hands. My wife and I have just completed the purchase of a Genesis from Tameron Hyundai. Contrary to the stereotypes many in the automotive sales profession have, we found Tameron's sales staff to be very helpful each time we stopped by, or contacted them for information. What we appreciate probably the most is that we did not feel pressured to buy. Whenever we had questions, they were answered, and phone calls were returned. Eddie Sterling wound up being our main sales agent for the purchase, and we quickly understood why he has won awards for his sales expertise; his knowledge of the products was excellent. He seemed genuinely interested in making sure that we were buying the right car for our preferences and needs, as opposed to just making a sale. Other sales people and staff who helped us at different times were very nice to deal with, as well. We would not hesitate to buy again from Tameron.

I just purchased a vehicle for my granddaughter from Janina Bender at Tameron. She has been working with me for a week trying to make sure we had just the right vehicle for my girl. Well today with the help of James Spivey the GM who took time out of his busy day to help Janina and I find the perfect fit both price and style. I bought a Santa Fe and my granddaughter loves it. Janina worked with us until 9:30 pm to get everything just right and show my granddaughter all the features on the car. My experience with Tameron Hyundai was one of the best I have had when purchasing a vehicle. My salesperson, Larry Johnson, listened to what I was looking for and needed. I gave him a price range and he was in tune with what I had to say. He wasn't trying to push me into something I didn't need or want just to make a sell. Car salesmen are usually pushy and only looking for the sale - Not Larry Johnson! He wanted to make sure I got a vehicle I would be happy with for years to come. I had my Santa Fe serviced for the first time yesterday and Larry walked through the service department and remember not only my name but my son's name who was with me when I made a purchase. I will definietly recommend Larry to family and friends.

My husband and I went to Tameron Hyundai in Birmingham, Alabama, to drive a Sonata as we had narrowed our choice of a new car to the Sonata and the Nissan Altima. Shannon Cowart met us in the parking lot and the rest is history. She was very attentive to our likes, dislikes, and needs for a car. She was able to let us test drive a car that was similar to what we were looking for. She was honest and forthcoming with all her answers to our questions. After she got a feel for what we needed in a car, she was able to find us a demo model with 2100 miles on it with all the bells and whistles and we fell in love! I came in from Montgomery to purchase a Sonata. I tried to work with a dealership closer to me but they were not willing to accomodate my needs. I went to tameron and my salesperson, Janina was very easy to work with. I had a some problems with my paperwork because I did not have all the documents I needed with me. I was very impressed with the dealership from my first visit to their web page. I made an inquiry and I immediately received an email acknowledging my request. I then received a clip on youtube from Mike Dodd. I also received an email from (I believe) the online sales manager (I am not sure of title) but I liked the way they handled it. They were not pushy but helpful. I made an appointment to come in and see the vehicles. My daughter and I do a lot of traveling and I wanted one she liked as she usually drives. She owns a 2007 Santa Fe and she has bragged on it so much that I wanted to buy one so she could enjoy it also. I drive a 2003 Jaguar XJ-8 and I didn't want to put a lot of miles on it.I really liked Mike Dodd and did not consider him the usual car salesman. He was so very helpful and I felt that Tameron was very lucky to have him. I also was impressed with the gentleman who handled my financing. I cannot remember his name right now but very nice and knowledgable. I would certainly recommend Tameron and Mike Dodd to my family and friends.

While the service seemed great at the time of sale, I found out later that the dealer ignored information I provided about registering the vehicle in Florida and instead filed paperwork to have it registered in Alabama. Now I am in a mess just to drive the vehicle legally. When I called to ask for help, they basically said there is nothing they can do to help. Not impressed.

I love my new car!They did everything I asked, like taking off the stripes, giving me the fancier wheels at no cost and giving me a different car than the one I first picked out and test drove, which we found sitting on the lot at purchase time. It had just come off the truck and had only 8 miles. So they had to hurry to get all the extras done. The detail shop guy was great!

I had my car stolen about a month ago. I really wasn't in the market for a new car so I set out browsing everywhere to see what piqued my interest. I stumbled upon Tameron Hyundai and I was very impressed with the Sonata Limited Turbo; awesome car for the price. Sales staff (Mike McGuire) was very helpful and informative and I never felt pressured. He gave me time to shop around, but, I eventually found myself back at Tameron. I was extremely picky, but, Mike helped me find exactly what I wanted and got my Sonata there before the insurance company stopped paying for my rental. The deal went smoothly and Mike followed up with me to make sure I was totally pleased with my purchase. I feel like I got a great deal at Tameron. There was no stress and I'm loving the car.

I HATE car dealers and shopping but evey now and then it becomes a necessity. I am in disbelief based on the positive experience I just had with Tameron Hyundai. Our sales person Janina Bender and Sales Manager Richard Wall made it the BEST experience I have EVER had purchasing a new vechile. I came away with a bueatifiul new car full of gas saving over $150 a month over what my trade was costing and the quality of the Sonata GLS in beyound compare. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

I committed a week to car-shopping with the intent of finding the best new vehicle which would meet all of our criteria. I visited 6 dealerships and test-drove 15 vehicles with 7 of those being suv's and 8 sedans. By the end of the week I re test-drove two suv's. The winner was (is) Tameron Hyundai, Mike Kelly (Sales) and the 2011 Santa Fe. My experience at the dealership was really good, sincere, and extremely customer/client-friendly. Extra help from Mike Kelly included not only "the usual" but purchasing me a Diet Coke on a day when the outside thermometer was 100 degrees or more, plus using an independent research firm to show me the "specs" on the other vehicles in the "running." Best, fastest, least stressful new car buying experience I have ever had. Salesman Mike Dodd was great to work with. Seemed more like a consultant than a salesman. Mike was very informative and spent alot of time with us when we were shopping for a car. He knew I was buying this car for my daughter and understood that safety and low maintenance were my priorities. He helped steer me towards the best car for our situation. The finance dept was easy to work with as well. There wasn't alot of back and forth. We were able to make a deal fairly quickly and move forward with the purchase of the car. Mike has been good to call to see if we are satisfied or having any issues. I have been thoroughly pleased with everyone at Tameron Hyundai.

The service at Tameron Hyundai is awesome. Eddie Sterling has worked with me since the end of April (3 Months)to find just the right Sonota Hybrid. He really worked hard scouring dealers all over the region to find the right car for me. He never got over bearing or frustrated with me or the process. He put my wants and needs first. Additionally he knows his product very well. I could see right away after walking through the door that I was in goood hands with Eddie and Tameron.

This was my first Hyundai purchased. I knew very little about the brand & Jerome Goodson was very knowledgable of the Sonata & made it easier for me. He explained everything in full detail, including the navigation & blue tooth. Richard was nice & worked with me on my budget. I had 2 Accords & 1 Acura prior to & this is my best car by far. My wife and I had to rework the entire garage for the Hyundai Sonata. We previously owned a F-150 4 door, and had to rework the garage to get in in. Now our garage is back to normal!Besides that, Tameron Hyundai and the entire staff are GREAT! My wife and I went on our first Demo ride, and were given the features of the Sonata. Tameron Hyundai had the cars that my wife and I were looking for when other dealers had little or no selection. We bought two Sonatas with the new 2.0t engine. I came in wanting to buy a new 2011 Sonata GS. My salesman showed me those, but also the SE. I test drove both, but decided on the GS because it was less expensive, although I loved the SE. My husband and I said we wanted to go get some lunch and would come back to make a purchase. My smart saleman insisted I take the SE while they evaluated my trade-in (another Sonata I had purchased at the same place a year earlier). Well, of course when we got back I was totally hooked on the SE and ended up buying that one instead. Although I spent more than I planned, I am so grateful that he did that, because I ended up getting the car I really wanted and would be most happy with. Michael was able to answer every question I had, and was not a "hard sell" car salesmen that most car buyers hate dealing with. He wanted me to get the car I really wanted, which is exactly what happened. I would (and have already) told friends and co-workers what a great experience I had at Tameron with Michael Higdon. I would recommend Tameron and Michael to anyone interested in buying a Hyundai. I'm super thrilled with my new car and the service I've received. I think Michael has gone above and beyond what any customer would want from a car salesman. I'll be back the next time I want to buy a new Sonata!

I recently totaled my old car and after receiving my insurance settlement, I was prepared to drive all over town to find a good deal. It took no more than two hours to get exactly what I wanted for under asking price at Tameron Hyundai. And they ended up being my first and only stop.There have been several very successful car dealers within my family and I'm well aware of the tricks of the trade. I expected some of the nonsense but Dale was professional, kind hearted and honest. I appreciate that more than anything when it comes to any sales situation. I had never baught a new car before...Mr.Jones made this experiance very much more than satisfactory for me. He explained every detail to me in full.This includes the dealer add on's like nitrogen filled tires.
