It took 7 visits and unnecessary repairs to take care of airbag warning light and eventually replace faulty airbag. Another case was when few months after 30,000 miles service which included transmission fluid replacement I was suggested to replace transmission fluid again. After a tire was replaced vibrations started. It appeared that a new rim was replaced with an old one. I expected a good service when a new car is leased and received something opposite. I returned the car right before the 36,000 warranty ended and 4 months before the lease ended.

From the moment I was greeted outside to the time I left, every person I dealt with was polite, had a smile on their face and very helpful. I informed the service man that I was driving to Florida the following week and did I need an oil change? He said it wasn't a bad idea since I was at 50% plus he had the mechanics check my brakes, air in tires, etc., etc., etc.. He told me I was all set for the long drive. Even though I didn't have an oil coupon, the service person said he gave me the discount as though I had one. Now wasn't that putting your customer first!!!!!

I was extremely pleased, with this being my first buying experience. I had Keith help me out and he seemed to be wonderful! I even traded in my car. After having my car for a month, I never received my paperwork from the state, including my title. This went on for FOUR months. Keith even realized he put in my wrong address and never fixed it, as well as the business manger and the used cars manager. I eventually ended up at the DMV (which is what you try to avoid aka why you buy at a dealership for CONVENIENCE) and was told my address was never updated. I called the used car manager for an update and received an "I'm sorry" and haven't heard from them since. Such a shame, I am a young professional in my twenties and could have been a long term customer. Needless to say, there are multiple Honda's in the area and I will not be returning to this one due to lack of service after the sale was done.

We got a new CRV last week and it was a very good experience until Jose spoiled it at the end. We got Honda all season weather mats along with the car. So we requested it to be installed by someone before we took out the car, Jose told us that he cannot install the mats due to compliance issue. He told us that if they don't install the mats correctly they were liable to sued and hence they do no install the mats. I know this is not true as my friend bought another car from the same dealership a month back and mats bought were installed and given. I even told him about it, however Jose insisted that they have not been installing mats 6 months and kept comparing mat installation to child car seat installation. This is the first time I experienced a dealer refusing to install a genuine Honda accessory bought from the dealer along with a new car. It would have taken less than 5 minutes but he kept arguing and left abruptly. This made us feel like they were not bothered once the deal is made. May be it is Jose but he represents the dealership and should have known better. He spoiled the good experience with Victor and Rich until that time.

I travel a lot for work and unfortunately go through cars quickly. I have not had a Honda in 20 years and decided to consider the Acord once again. The sales person was very helpful and we test drove quite a few cars. I have to say that this process was the easiest in buying and trading in a car. I am a repeat customer. This is my third Honda. I feel like my salesman , Felix Cancel, really treated me like a repeat customer and always called me back and was very knowledgeable. I cant remember the man's name in the office who does the contract but he treated me the same way. My husband even called Felix to make sure I wasn't be taken advantage of, and my husband never has nice things to say about car salesmen. He was like its a great deal, they have treated you well over the years, so just go get it.

After 3 months of waiting for air bag recall service I received my CRV with banging brakes. Drove it back to Tarrytown Honda and a mechanic got into the car and stated that this is common for a car laid up for three months. I asked if I could have the rental Kia back while they checked the brakes. I was told, "No" and to call American Honda 1-800-999-1009. They took no responsibility. This was when I tried to get in touch with Tarrytown Honda service manager, Mark Langston, boy was I given the run a round. I tried his phone number 914-909-9941 numerous times. I went to the service dept. only to be told that he was delivering cars to Kia, White Plains I asked for the phone number in order to get in touch with him. I was given 914-622-2222 and called...it just kept ringing. Finally I drove over to Tarrytown Honda and was given the same story. I asked the address of Kia, White Plains and said I was going over there. The service rep asked me to go into the lounge after 5 mins. he came in and brought me into the weasel's office. Here is a so called manager who has his people lie for him. What kind of service do you think you will get from such a poorly managed repair shop. I didn't get any satisfaction but the point is I had to track the weasel down for two days. Can you imagine they would let a person drive out of their shop with bad brakes. My advice go to another Honda Dealer.

I only buy Hondas and usually trade them in after a few years. I have done so five times with a 2004 Honda, a 2006 Honda, a 2009 Honda, a 2013 Honda, and now a 2016 Honda. These were all Honda Civics. In doing so, I have never had a more wonderful experience than dealing with Chad Sanders. He is a complete professional, someone who others should learn from and emulate. He is personable, competent, patient, and efficient. Above all, he works with you without any hard sell and goes out of his way to accommodate your needs and requests. After the deal is completed, you get the feeling you were in good hands, confident that Chad had your best interests in mind. In addition, Chad follows up for the next few days to make sure that everything is okay and that you are 100% satisfied. If there were a course on how to conduct oneself as a model salesman, Chad would be the perfect one to teach such a course. I hope Chad is still working at Tarrytown Honda in three years from now, when I plan to get my next Honda.

I drove in without an appointment. - I needed an oil change and fluid checks. I wound up having a 15,000 mile service check and was experiencing issues with the back hatch opening. They took my car and had it back to me within 1 hour - I was waiting for it. The mechanic showed me what he thought was the issue with the back hatch. I still think Honda should have put an automatic open and close button the the key fob for the back hatch. I think this particular Honda Dealer should make the waiting area a little more comfortable. However, they do provide coffee and pastries every day (a nice perk).

Joel and the service management were extremely helpful. The dealership requested and received approval from Honda to replace my very expensive hybrid battery even though it was beyond the initial warranty period. This was fantastic! Joel effectively communicated the additional repairs necessary on my car and the cost. When it looked like the work might take more than the initial day that was predicted, Joel stayed at work, communicated with the mechanic, and made sure that the work was completed. I was able to pick up my car that evening and drive to work the following day. It is great to have the repairs done and a new hybrid battery at a very reasonable price. Thank you.

We called Tarrytown Honda and explained what happened, and we also explained that we wanted to lease another CRV, the Touring model. A year ago, my wife bought a Fit at Tarrytown Honda. We loved our experience - Luis Rodriguez searched the Metro area for the exact Fit she wanted and found it in one day (previously, White Plains Honda held our request for 6 weeks with no results!). So, when it was time for a new SUV, I stopped there to check out the CRVs and ended up going no further. I dealt with Chad Sanders and had a very rapid and equally satisfactory experience. But, it gets better: After negotiating a deal and a price for my trade in, I drove home in my vehicle (the one to trade in) to get the title. On my way back to the dealership, I got rear-ended while stopped at a traffic light! Although the damage was minor, it was visible, and I arrived at the dealership really sweating it - would they cancel the deal? - knock thousands off of my trade-in price? Nope, they waved it off, and we closed the deal at the agreed price. I will be coming back!

This service period I felt less hassled. I usually don't trust what is being told to me that is necessary for my car because dealerships have a rep for selling you services not needed. Before this service date I previously brought my car in fir servicing and was told I need to change my brakes. I did and I was till hearing a hissing sound from the back brakes. Returned I was told I ned new ones but it can wait. When I brought my car on Monday I was surprised to learn that it was just dirt and it was cleaned and I was surprised that I was and pleased that I didn't have to pay an arm and a leg for servicing my car. I walked into the dealership by myself with an urgent need for a car. Given my vulnerability, I needed to work with someone that I could trust and who would look out for me. Luckily, I was approached by Chad the second I walked! Throughout the entire process Chad was extremely supportive and knowledgeable. He really did everything he could to get me the right car at the right price. The paperwork and financing portion was also very seamless. All of my questions were answered and I was given a folder with copies of every document signed. Shortly after, I drove off the lot with a car that I absolutely love! However, I must note that my experience with Chad did not end there as he has continued to be a great resource when ever I have any questions about owning a car. By far the WORST experience I have ever had with a service department in my entire life. From the writers all the way to the service manager no one seems to care or take pride in their work. I brought my car (under warranty) in August with a water leak on the passenger floor. 3 months later and 5 times taking it in the problem is still not fixed. I've come to the concussion that they cannot fix the problem and I would be wasting my time taking it to them for a 6th time! I'm just going to bite the bullet and take it elsewhere and pay out of my pocket to get it fixed. I love my Honda but because of this I will never buy another car from this incompetent dealership and most certainly would never take my car here to be serviced again.

He's the model of an honest, caring car salesman. I continue to refer him to anyone I know who's looking for a new car. I then met with Bill Matari in the finance department. I must admit that I have less than stellar credit. Bill spent hours on the phone with the lending institutions in order to get me an affordable payment. I was very appreciative of his hard work. We were looking at a Honda Accord at another dealership for my husband but then they told us that afternoon it was sold so I went to Tarrytown Honda the next day without my husband. Felix was my sales rep and he was wonderful, he took me out to drive the cars that fit my husbands wishes, 6 cylinder and not a white car with low milage.Felix looked at all of their certified pre-owned and found the perfect car. I left a deposit and my husband came lated that evening. He also felt Felix and the rest of the staff there were very helpful and attentive.I purchase the first Honda Hatchback from the same location but a different dealership and was very happy with my Honda back then. I have been trying to get some information about the new 2016 Honda Accord. Honda released the MSRP for the Sedan and the Coupe through the press and on their website. However, I wanted to get a ballpark figure to screen dealers before I go to visit them. Sarah Wright gave me the MSRP for the sedan and a per month payment. I specifically asked for a quote for the coupe! I made counter offer below MSRP since her price was ABOVE the MSRP, and asked for "something", a price that will bring me to Tarrytown for further negotiations. I also asked about financing. Here is Ms. Wright's Response:"Thanks for taking out the time to speak with me and also for considering Tarrytown Honda for your purchase. Here at Tarrytown Honda we are committed to exceeding the expectations of our customers, and I will do everything possible to ensure that you are completely satisfied! Our approach is to service our customers and adjust the process to fit your needs. Maybe you still have a few lingering questions about the Honda Accord or the financing options please feel free to contact me directly Regards,..." I can't go to every Honda dealer in the area, so I am trying to get ballpark bids to negotiate in person. "Exceed customer expectations"???? This site is to write about a "purchase" experience, but I can't even make a purchase!I just gave my 2013 Accord to my daughter, "trying" to buy a new one, and will purchase another one next year. They start out very attentive and helpful, but once they make the sale that all ends! I was impressed that they took care of all the motor vehicle transactions, the service department filled the tank with gas and washed the car, and the sales person was very nice. But, they left me sitting there for long periods of time after telling me that I'd be on my way in the car within 90 minutes. I was there for about twice that long waiting, even long after all the paperwork was completed. Now, I've called and emailed and left messages for the last 3 weeks without a single response. I've cc'd the sales manager on every message, didn't help. I've been trying to reach the Finance Manager for weeks now. I signed up for an extended warranty when I bought the car in June. he assured me that I could cancel at any time with no problem. On the way home from the dealership I decided that it wasn't a good deal for me, so I called immediately when I got home and informed him that I wanted to cancel. It was within an hour or two of signing the forms. Two months later, I have yet to get a confirmation of the cancellation! I've already had to pay 2 months of charges on the warranty that I didn't want and that he assured me could be cancelled at any time with a quick phone call. They also told me that I could finance the car and pay it all off immediately so that I could drive it home that day, and that it wouldn't cost me any more than if I had paid cash for the car. That too was a lie. I've had to pay 2 months worth of interest since I can't pay off the loan until the extended warranty is cancelled. I wouldn't go back there or recommend them. They'll say anything to get the sale, they'll leave you sitting there for an hour or more with no contact or explanation, and once the sale is done they don't return your calls. I'm looking for a dealership that actually has some form of customer service AFTER the sale!

My recent purchase of a 2015 Civic EX-L went as smoothly as I hoped with Tarrytown Honda. After communicating with Sarah for a little over a week we were able to agree on a price that happened to be the best price by a long shot from other dealers I have visited. Although Tarrytown was over an hour away I'm glad I took the gamble as I finally found an honest dealer that goes out of their way to make sure the buying process is stress free. Was able to agree a price on Friday and went up on a Sunday to pay and pickup the car. The whole process took a little under an hour. The customer service didn't stop there, they kept in contact with after the purchase and updated me with regards to my registration refund. I've already recommended Tarrytown to my Cousin and his wife who have confirmed they had the same experience I had when they purchased their CR-V. Thanks all, for making me believe that not all dealerships are deceitful. I'll keep in touch for my upcoming CR-V purchase.

I appreciate the personal touch and caring of my salesperson, Rich Miller. He made sure that our vehicle needs were met to our satisfaction; the pick-up time for the vehicle was on our schedule and we were treated like family. Everyone who we encountered at the dealership was friendly, courteous, and genuinely helpful. Chad is awesome! My lease was up and chad contacted me with an offer to switch to a newer vehicle. He was able to find me a deal that lowered my monthly payments. He also called my insurance, gave them all the info on the new car and had the new cards printed and ready. He did the same thing with my registration. He also drove the new car to my apartment, switched the plates and drove the old car back. That is the best customer service I've experienced at a car dealership. This was the best car buying experience to date! After venting how much I hated car shopping to a friend, she referred me to Victor at Tarrytown Honda, stating "just go see Victor, he makes it so easy". My sales rep, Chad, was knowledgeable, friendly, trust worthy and most of all patient. Chad and I had instant chemistry and I felt like I was driving around with a friend, not a stranger. Victor was a no bull-xxxx sales manager, at no point did I feel fearful of over paying for the vehicle. I bought a new accord sport, And was happy w the price. However I felt Jordan was arrogant, condescending and rude. He did give me a better price than two other dealerships though. Victor, Anisa, and Bill were all very patient and far from pushy. Only recommended to those who do extensive hw prior to walking in. I was lured in with an email that I was told was a "mistake" which was bush league. But like I said I still got the best price so their tactics worked on me. If you're skeptical you'll be fine. I don't usually write reviews but I felt that the service I received from Tarrytown Honda deserves some recognition. Charlene and Sam helped me with buying my 2015 Accord Sport at a great deal and the finance manager Wilson was extremely helpful and transparent throughout the whole process. I was extremely skeptical following some really bad experiences from NYC area Honda dealerships (Namely one in Brooklyn and another in Queens) and I was expecting more of the same from Tarrytown but they proved me wrong. To anybody looking to buy a new Honda, don't even waste your time in NYC dealers, just take a quick Metro North ride up and see these guys. To say that I'm incredibly happy with my experience is an understatement. I'll be buying all my future cars from these folks.

Armed with a list from the internet, I had all the prices, VIN #s, stock numbers and mileage of the five or six cars that I wanted to see. I worked with Jose Rodriguez, a new employee, who was assisted by Chad. The test was a bit short but was fun and helped us determine that the CRV was indeed the Honda model for us. My first experience with this Honda dealership was in 2011. Since then I've purchased/leased 3 additional vehicles. This is how awesome the staff is at Tarrytown Honda. Luis Rodriguez and Wilson Velez handled my first Honda Pilot Touring purchase. He was awesome to work with. Extremely patient throughout the entire purchase. When I was ready to trade-in this vehicle for a newer model...Luis and Wilson once again handled the process. It was extremely smooth from start to finish. In February 2015, my husband went in to speak to Chad Sanders about trading in his 2008 Honda Accord. He had had such bad experiences with other dealerships...that he thought it would be no different. I was thrilled to prove him wrong. A few hours later, my husband walked out with a 2015 Honda Accord...thanks to Chad and Wilson!!! I just made my third new car purchased from this dealership.I started by getting a price from Charlene Mooney over the phone - we then had a lot of email correspondence and she was very helpful and was able to answer all of my questions. I compared internet prices of various dealers and Tarrytown's was the lowest. I came in and worked with Richard A. Johnson - what a wonderful salesman! He REALLY knows his product line and was able to answer all of my questions. The price I got when in the dealership was lower than the internet price, and they offered me a very fair deal on my trade in. I explained that I would, of course have to shop this price around which they understood - no one pressured me to make a deal that day which is something that I really appreciated. I went to two other dealers, one of which treated me rather badly (they'll be getting their own separate Yelp review) and one of them beat Tarrytown's price. I emailed Richard and explained that Tarrytown had to at least match the offer from the other dealer. He took my offer from the other dealer to Victor Lopez (the sales manager.)*** Tarrytown didn't match the price, they BEAT it. ***Sat down with the finance officer Ed and he was terrific also. Everyone at this dealership really knows their product line. Picked up my car this past Saturday - the dealership was so crowded! As busy as Richard was, he got us out of there fairly quickly with ease and grace. This is the reason why this is the third car I have purchased from this dealership. From Charlene to Richard to Ed to Victor, everyone was just terrific. It's not often that you can say you had a pleasurable car buying experience, but I definitely did!!

Found a car on their website showing picture with a price above picture. Printed page showing car and price and went to dealership. Met with salesperson who show me the car. I said I would trade in my car as part of the deal. He left to go evaluate my car. Came back with a manager who took over the talk. He explain that what I printed was only page 1 and that the actual price was on page 3. That was the price after a large down payment. He was willing to lower the price slightly with a ridiculous low price of my trade in. I asked for my car keys and walked out. If you see an ad with a low price make sure you read all the way thru "page 3" so you don't waste your time. I don't know how legal it is to post a picture with a price above it and find out later you were suppose to read the fine print.

Tarrytown service does not do the service in the time promised-getting the truthful answer has been close to impossible. Appointments=0 if you stay or leave your car. Please tell the truth no lies or worst yet say nothing about the real time to get your car serviced. A follow-up call might help not a service department that "doesn't take calls at this time". An oil change DOES NOT take from 9AM to 2PM! And being arrogant to a customer isn't the correct way to apologize for the making a customer wait for service promised hours ago. And this is NOT the first time-I have tried to work with your team really my ENTIRE family! Sad thing is when you get the service done they do stand by their work but it's not worth the time and aggravation. Shame on you Tarrytown Service department.

I called Tarrytown Honda to see if they had a used CRV in my price range. Well they didn't. But they DID have a 2004 Pilot that happened to have come in that day as a trade in. The sales people couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. I especially have a shout out to Richard Miller, who made this car buying experience quick and super easy. He didn't treat me as if I was just buying a used car, instead I felt like a valued customer. The process was easy and, having never bought a car from a dealership before, I couldn't believe I didn't have to go to the DMV, call to change my insurance or even take the plates off my old car and put them on my new one! Buying a used car has always made me suspicious, even with the ability to see a car's history with Auto Check or Carfax. Tarrytown Honda not only dispelled my fears, but made me confident in my purchase. That the car I bought was originally purchased there, was a plus in their favor as well. It speaks well of them as a dealer, that someone would trade in a car purchased there originally for a new one. Plus they have an awesome product to sell!! (You know when you buy a car, you see it everywhere all of a sudden? Well that happened to me too - only the Honda Pilots I kept seeing had Tarrytown Honda emblems on them!! That's gotta mean something!)

I absolutely DREAD car dealerships. Our lease was up and I was determined to finance a car and get out of this whole process. Its maddening to me. Our family (my husband and three young boys) went to a number of dealerships and were given a run around despite indicating exactly what we wanted. It was horrendous. By the time we reached out to Tarrytown Honda we were exhausted and irritable. Let me tell you, they could not have been more pleasant. Chad Sanders and Shanique Williams provided us with nothing less than OUSTANDING service. As working parents we found it hard to find any more time to get to the dealerships. They gave us no hassles and beat the offers of anyone else we dealt with. They communicated with us courtesly and professionally through email and texting. They had the exact car we wanted, plus some amazing upgrades that we would have never been able to afford, within days. When we arrived at the dealership the process was seamless. Chad arranged for our new car to be pulled alongside the van we were turning in. While my husband and kids switched everything over, I reviewed the contracts and bank documents. It took minutes not hours. They were so amazing. Making the leap from a minivan to a Honda Pilot was big for me. Leaving Toyota was big for me. They made the process simple and effective. I had heard great things about Tarrytown Honda but assumed all dealers were the same. They are NOT! This place was really so wonderful. We recommend EVERYONE go there for your needs. My wife and I had an extremely negative experience with our used-vehicle purchase from Tarrytown Honda in Tarrytown, NY, in November-December 2014. The vehicle was presented as being like new but there is clear evidence of a prior accident(s).We purchased a 2013 Acura RDX with about 18,000 miles on it. The vehicle was advertised as a one-owner vehicle, with a clean Carfax, and like new. We reviewed the Carfax report, which showed it to be a one-owner vehicle with no history of accidents. It then passed a used vehicle inspection at a nearby shop, Mickeys Automotive in Sleepy Hollow, and received a glowing report. (How they missed all the red flags is a topic for their own review.) The red flags found at our local shop in Colorado after we took delivery of the vehicle are as follows: radiator has been replaced, front and rear bumpers replaced and repainted, the entire front end and drivers side repainted (as evidenced by fisheyes in the paint), rotors machined to minimum spec, drivers side front wheel and tire replaced, new front brake pads, uneven tire wear caused by vehicle being severely out of alignment, drivers side window rattles during raise/lower, and body panels/bumpers/wheels have numerous scratches, scuffs, and dings.That all these things could go unnoticed by the dealer is difficult to believe, and they certainly werent disclosed. Upon learning of these issues, my buyers agent called the used car manager at Tarrytown Honda to discuss the situation. In their conversation, the manager clearly stated that the vehicle had a clean Carfax and that he was unwilling to do anything to rectify the situation.Weve certainly learned our lesson about doing business with Tarrytown Honda.

I recently leased a 2015 CRV from Tarry Town Honda and was completely satisfied with the experience. My first point of contact was Shanique Williams who was absolutely great throughout the negotiating phase. Shanique was remarkable friendly and patient and was always willing to answer any and every questions I had during my frequent interactions with her over the phone and via email, She was able to put together a very competitive price for me and once I was at the dealership everything went as already negotiated including the trade in of my 2012 Accord SE. Shanique is absolutely wonderful to work with and I am sure I will return to Tarrytown for my next car even though I live about 60 miles away. At the dealership I was also helped by a very pleasant young lady Maria Hidalgo who stayed with me throughout the buying process . She was very warm and very helpful throughout the time I was at the dealership and once the deal was done and I was handed the keys to the car she spent a lot of time helping me familiarize myself with the various features the car had to offer. I was really impressed by her attitude and demeanor. I would also like to thank the sales manager Jordan Rabadi and the finance manager Wison Velez who made the whole leasing process a pleasant one. Just two hours later! When I told the sales manager I had had such a bad experience at the dealership 7 years ago I hadn't returned since, and felt I was being cheated, he snapped, "That's the best price you're going to get on your car," and stalked off. Salesperson was fine, but management is awful.

Unlike my recent Rockland Jeep experience, Tarrytown Honda is a first-class operation that puts the customer and customer satisfaction first. They went out of their way to make sure that the customer is satisfied and feels good about their recent purchase. Tarrytown Honda works with the customer, rather than against it. Dealerships often say that they are customer-oriented and it is often salesmanship rhetoric. However, for Tarrytown Honda, their commitment to customer satisfaction is truth ... 18 hours is all it took for me to get the best deal around for a fantastic car. I started by going on the Tarrytown Honda website and speaking with Chelsea. After getting a quick response and quote I traveled to the dealership to meet Chad. Working with Chad was like spending time with one of your friends. He certainly wants to make money but that is not the feeling you get when you are in his company. He went the distance for me to get the very best deal that I was looking for and after a hand shake the paperwork was put in place with the help of Jordan and Ed. Having gotten home and telling my wife about the new Blue Honda I just Leased I was quickly asked "Why not the silver?". I phone call to Tarrytown Honda and within 30 minutes all of the paperwork was re-done for the silver car. I can't say enough about how great the service is at this dealership. I enjoyed my time there so much I would even consider working there if that was my field. I have gotten both of my vehicles from Tarrytown Honda and I plan to continue as long as people like Chad work there. A+++++

I have bought and leased many cars over the years, but the attention, service and deal we got at this dealership was far superior to almost any other I have dealt with. In particular, Gary Testa was exceptional. he was extremely knowledgeable and professional and very straightforward. he was clear and direct and not at all pushy. Most of all, he listened to us and paid attention/followed through on what we discussed. So many dealers just try to talk over you and push what they want. And he gave us a great deal. I had checked blue book prices for similar cars and we know what they offered was below market. The fact that I am writing this demonstrates how impressed I was - I usually can't bother with reviews.

My experience with Tarrytown Honda was a pleasant one. Coming from only dealing with Jeep dealers, I did not know what to expect. From the very start, Chad was a pleasant sales rep, working with my husband and myself to get a good deal on the car I was interested in and for my trade. He takes pride in his work and was a pleasure to work with. He got Jordan to assist with my trade in and Jordan gave me a good deal. Once we had agreed to purchase the Honda Pilot, we were then referred over to Wilson for financing. Wilson is a warm, friendly individual who takes pride in his work is extremely competent in his work. He made us feel comfortable and me especially as I had credit concerns. We had to return the next day and it was Wilson's day off. He gave me his personal cell # and told me he would come in once I arrived. After purchasing the car, I had to return today for some minor things missed during the sale. Wilson assured all would be taken care of and it was. I was short for time and had to be somewhere with my kids. Wilson offered to loan me his car just to help me. I would certainly return to this dealer on the account of friendliness, expertise and all around great experience. Thanks Tarrytown Honda!

From the moment I stepped into this dealership in December to help my younger brother buy his first car, I had felt comfortable with the overall experience. I decided to buy a 2014 pilot and was considering a couple dealerships in the area. I figured id pass by tarrytown and see billy who took care of my brother. I was familiar with the vehicle so we went straight to the numbers. The initial numbers we're pretty much out of range considering I did my homework before hand, but after going back and forth for a little I was able to accept a good offer, price being around invoice instead of msrp. I wanted a black on black touring which they didn't have and had to locate it. They offered a demo with approx. 5600 miles with running boards, but I declined since it wasn't "new". I waited a couple days which was fine with me and received a call from bill about the vehicle being available. When I came back to pick up the pilot, billy took care of transferring the plates and paperwork. It was sad to see my TL go, but it was time for a change and I was glad the change was positive one with this dealership. I've already recommended them to friends and family. Overall, I was extremely satisfied!

I walked into Tarrytown Honda already having dealt with another Honda dealership in the area and not very pleased with that experience. The welcoming feel of the dealership was a much better experience already. The staff were fantastic and very knowledgable. I needed to make a change that would fit my budget and Chad and the rest of Tarrytown Honda made it happen! Chad was great and I could tell wanted to make sure I was making the right choice without giving me the runaround. I have already told many people what a great experience I had and for them to make the choice of Tarrytown Honda!!

I have purchased many vehicles in my life and dealt with many car dealers. I have always been pressured into making a purchase that I did not want. I can honestly say that this is the first time I was not pressured. Chad was perfectly wonderful. He listened carefully to my concerns and wants in so far as make of vehicle, year of vehicle, pricing and financing. Chad made this entire experience pain free for me. Within minutes we were looking at vehicles in my desired price range. The next thing I knew Chad called to me from across the lot to tell me that he had found the vehicle for me. He was right!! I drove it home that week. Thank you to everyone I dealt with. I appreciate your professionalism.

I was looking for buy a car after leasing for 3 years and figuring out how much it was costing me. I was looking for a cheap reliable car that would last me a while. The very first car I saw was the one I liked. (I even got the color I wanted!) I honestly was not able to feel the difference in handling/power between the 2011 Accord and this 2003 Accord. After looking around the lot I didn't see a car I would father have. While I have not driven the car long enough to be able to tell you that this Honda did in fact last long enough to justify my buying it, I will tell you that the head ace I saved by coming to the dealer over going to Craigslist was worth the was worth extra money I paid. My asking range was 6K and I walked away paying 7,750 after title and reg. Not bad.Honestly I am the worst kind of costumer, I was looking for a price that they could not possibly give me and a an "internet traffic costumer" to boot. Most other people were looking to drop 20 or 30 k and I was not looking to go over 6. Never the less Anisa gave me her full attention, her time and provided me with excellent service. I decided to buy the car 6:30 PM Friday afternoon and I drove the car out of the lot on Sunday afternoon fully registered and insured. They didn't want to take a personal check or CC over $2,500 so they sat there and counted the $20 bills I emptied out of the ATM:)I do recommend Tarrytown Honda for anyone rich enough to shop there, for excellent cars and a better shopping experience.

I have been buying or leasing new cars from Mercedes, to GM, to Honda (this is my third) since 1971. This sales experience was by far the most efficient. Jon is polite, knowledgeable and places 'customer service and satisfaction' ahead of all. If not for waiting an hour for my insurance company to fax the forms, I would have been written up, credit approved and the car actually rolled out of the showroom for me to drive away. This dealership is the real deal, and Jon is a pleasure to work with. Although I don't expect to have issues with a Honda, I'm confident that Jon will be a huge asset if this occurs. He definitely deserves to be a Gold Leadership Sales Consultant.

I had given this dealership at least 6 references in the past. Something has changed there. All they wanted this time was money to hold the car. It was asked of me at least 6-7 times in 30 min. Once they got the money, 250.00. They no longer cared to work for me. It was the end of the month and my sale counted. I did not lease the car and it has been 10 days and I still have not gotten my money back yet. Sad.

Many say they have horror stories when going to car deal ships. I have in the past agreed. However I traveld to Tarrytown from Commack Long Island because of the dealer. I had viewed a vehicle on line and scheduled a test drive. I called mid week to ensure all was set, much to my surprise the Ridegeline I was looking at was Sold. I complained that No one called to advise me. The manager Chris took my situation personally and worked to find me a vehicle that was comparable. He even did right on he price. He assigned me Rich Johnson (salesman) who was on his game and although there were some "hiccups " during the process (body shop delays) the dealership stood by all they agreed on. I would Highly recommend them to friends and family and it's worth the extra drive. In my humble opinion they were #1 in PRICE SELECTION AND SERVICE.

Decided to drive from NJ to Tarrytown Honda because we had awful Honda dealer experiences in NJ. Our daughter had bought her Honda here and had a very positive experience. We were not disappointed. Jon Saba was very personable and rather than feeling like I was being ripped off by a car salesman, I feel like we made a friend. The price to get us in the door was excellent. And, there was NO QUESTION they were going to honor their commitment. BUT, when we went to the Finance person. all of a sudden there was a $295 fee. We questioned why it was there and said that NO ONE had mentioned a fee. Also, he couldn't tell us what the fee was actually for. So, he removed the fee. There was ALSO a $75 dealer fee, which I didn't argue about at the time. Once we paid for the car, it was a moot point. I regret not complaining, there shouldn't be a general fee. All costs are rolled up into the cost of the car. There is NO REASON for any fee by the dealership once the price has been negotiated. Because the price, even with the $75 dealer fee, was the least expensive we had gotten, I will still say the price was VERY GOOD, though the "fees" left us feeling less satisfied by the transaction.The sales person we were assigned, Ayla Cruz, was EXCELLENT! She answered ALL our questions and PATIENTLY went over the function of the car's MANY switches and dials. She was absolutely fantastic.

My husband and I recently purchased our first car through Tarrytown Honda. We had a wonderful, friendly, quick experience. We worked with Anisa, who was knowledgeable, quick and nice. She never tried to push us. She was up front with pricing and didn't try to sell us things we didn't want. We had been working with another dealership that felt more rushed and pushy. I would recommend buying a car through Anisa and Tarrytown Honda -- particularly if you've been looking in New York City; the cars in Tarrytown were in much better shape.

I've purchased two cars from Tarrytown Honda over the past 2 years and I am very happy with both experiences. My first car was a Certified pre-owned 2007 Honda Accord. My salesman, Jay Silverman, did an excellent job in helping me pick a car that met my budget and driving needs. My 2007 Accord was in excellent shape and other than new tires and oil changes, the car has needed no major maintenance work. This week I went back to Tarrytown Honda and met Jay again. He and his manager, Jordan Rabadi, were warm, helpful and extremely fair in discussing pricing with me. I've done a lot of research with visiting several other Honda dealerships, and while some others are also very good, Tarrytown stands apart. My new Civic EX-L with Navi is amazing. My 2007 Accord is still in my family too. Honda cars are phenomenal, Tarrytown Honda lives up to that reputation as well.

I went into Tarrytown Honda yesterday to look at my options for a new car! John had a car for me to rest drive right away! I test drive the Honda Accord Sports 2014 I loved it but I was looking for a car with a sunroof! He worked with me and gave me numbers for both Sports & EX(has the sunroof). John worked with on what I could afford and made it happen! I was very happy for his effort to give me payments I could afford! I then also worked with Bill, and he was very nice and also worked with my credit which isn't the greatest to still give me a good deal! I picked up my brand new leased Honda Accord EX 2014 today! Everything about the features of the car was explained and I Love It!! I also brought my daughter in and after 3 hrs she did not want to leave since they have a kids area! Very convenient for all parents!! Thank you guys!!

I visited the dealership on Tuesday evening looking for a used honda for my son. We were able to find a suitable car, but the price for a used car was quite high.... The next day I took my son to look at the car and we were able to negotiate a lower price. while there we saw a 2008 Audi A4 which I decided to trade my car in for... I am hoping that this dealership is honest and stands behind their products.... even used cars. I have not purchased a used car in over 25 years and am hoping that I will be able to not only recommend my friends to this dealership and to Jon Saba, but to also come back to purchase cars for my family in the future.

Honestly this place should be reported as the worst place to buy a car. If you want to be lied to, extorted out of all your life savings and feel miserable about yourself, Tarrytown honda is the place. The environment is disgusting. They have been renovating for the past 4 years, some of the reps are dressed unprofessionally such as jeans and a "honda" polo shirt and or a maroon suite (yes you read that right).I had provided an offer and instead of providing a counter offer, I was insulted instead. There were no brochures, and the rep I spoke to attempted to sell just the honda brand. True car dealerships will sell you the car, pitch to you the benefits, features and most definitely the service they can provide. You should feel confident in investing in the brand or product. This place complete opposite of premium service. Once again, if you want to feel like you don't have any self esteem, this is the place for you.

Looking for my third Honda. The last one was leased here. My experience at that time was excellent. No undue pressure or salesman annoyances. Prices are good (basically the same everywhere as Hondas sell at invoice price) and I liked my last deal so we went there with the intent to buy that date. What I found was that the dealer has changed their tactics to hard sell which included insulting my wife and I and treating us like we know nothing about cars (I've been subscribing to car magazines since the 60's and devour every word) and that our opinion and facts were just wrong. We ended up walking out. Tomorrow we will buy the same car at another Honda dealer.

From the first email exchanges with Cheslea Guzman-Internet Manager, to Ayla Cruz- Sales Consultant, to Roberto Ortiz, Finance Manager. 5-Stars *****. They have given me their finest skills, from an out-of-state customer. Tarrytown Honda, the only dealer in a forty mile radius that had the Accord Sport Sedan, with a 6-Spd manual transmission. Even though my trade-in wasn't in great shape, they were fair with their appraisal of my vehicle. Ayla, was instrumental in all aspects of my purchase. Needing a vehicle quickly, with my mom in hospice, she went far and beyond any sales consultant I've dealt with. Helping with things, such as getting the trade-in cleaned out, inspected, with the utmost attention to detail. If one can imagine, the many things going through my head with family matters, her skill, with only four months experience was SEVEN STARS*******. I need you to congratulate her, sharing this review with her. Telling her that she is above, and beyond my expectations. Sincere, thoughtful, managing every detail, bringing associates into the transaction, to have it completed in FOUR HOURS!!! How's that for "Getting things done" She is an asset to your company, your dealership. your team of service advisors, and associates, with my car being prepped in record time. On Tuesday, Feb 19, I called for a service appt and spoke with Vanessa (?) I told her I had hit a pot hole, had a flat and a bent rim, when could I come and get my car fixed. She came back and told me to come up on this date at 1pm, which I did. On my way to the dealership, I hit another pot hole and had to be towed to Honda. When I arrived I was given a piece of paper and told to bring it to the service desk, Mr. Grullon. I was having a very bad day especially after having the car towed and then to be told that they did not have the rim in stock I would have to leave the car there and getting home to the Bronx was on me, no courtesy ride, etc. I also had another ongoing problem with my remote key. So while having a bad cold, being frustrated and being stranded I was waiting for my husband to call me back. when my husband called me back, I was a few feet away from the service desk, at some point in my private conversation with my husband, I relayed to him that I was totally frustrated and sick of this sh*t. At this point, Mr. Grullon jumped off his stool, got in my face and personal space and started screaming at me that if I was going to use this type of language, I could just take my car and go home.After having a conversation with Mr. Bill P, who was helping me with another issue that was related to my remote key, he was going to attempt to get me a ride home, I waited in the waiting area. After one hour, my husband and my son, were infuriated that the service person spoke to me in the manner he did, and told me to call AAA and have the car removed from Tarrytown Honda and brought elsewhere, which was rudely suggested to me by Mr. Grullon's. So that is what I did. After this experience, I will not shop or service my vehicle at Tarrytown Honda.While Mr. Bill P, was very nice in dealing with me, I had explained to him that since I bought the car a few months ago, the remote key is continually not working. This was my 4th trip to Tarrytown Honda about this issue. He told me there was no paper work indicating this situation and that he replaced the battery (once again) and that they would start a paper trail from hereonin in order to remediate the situation with the key. Unacceptable to me, but had little choice, this would cause me to continue to bring the remote key back several more times before they would/could investigate and remedy the issue at hand. As I said earlier, this was one of the worst experience I have ever had with customer service issue anywhere. As stated above, I have decided I will never deal with this dealership again for any reason and will make advise my friends and family of the same.

I have given a 4 on customer service only because there were a couple of brief moments when employees clearly tried to convince me to purchase what they were selling rather than simply providing information about it. This happened when I wanted to leave to go look at other brands at other dealers, and when I did not want to purchase "5 year" service warranty. After I have been given the information with which to make my own decision, I do no need any further convincing to spend money on anything. That said, Roberto was very competent and clear explaining financing, and patient when he needed to explain some things more than once. James was great at breaking down a lot of information clearly and repeating it as needed. He was very attentive to the needs of my family members, who ranged a lot in age. We felt comfortable in the dealership. Chris Mendicina, the general manager was able to be hands on when needed, but also allowed James to do his job. A good team. The music in the dealership was overbearing, loud, and inappropriate. With that many guys sitting around in a room full of cars, it would be good to avoid the feeling of a teenage boy's party, and, while most things were professional and clear headed, the music was ridiculous and annoying. We asked to have it turned down, to no avail. Very nice people, no back peddling, no trickery, no scams. Very straightforward and friendly. (Note: Also, it is too difficult to use the password/username function on the website. It rejects passwords, then takes you in loops. Make it easy.)

My husband and I are currently searching for an affordable lease for our daughter, price shopping. I told Chelsea my situation and the problem we had finding a 2014 Civic that would lease in our range. She was very explanatory, very detailed, but once I told her we gingerly took the Civic off our shopping list, she hung up on me. I do understand her frustration, I too deal with customers, it was my husband who directed me. But, NOT VERY PROFESSIONAL since I do have a few more kids right behind this one! You never know! I had an outstanding experience at this dealership. I initially went to Tarrytown Honda to look at a Civic, but I didn't comfortably fit in the front seat, much to my dismay! However, there was a used 2012 Mazda3 that had caught my eye. The salesperson I worked with was fabulous, answering any questions we had as well as listening to our needs. The person who had traded in the Mazda was a customer of hers, which helped ease my fears of buying a used car. Walking in, I wasn't sure what I was planning to do, but by the time I walked out, I knew that it was the car for me. The finance manager I worked with was able to secure a lower APR rate than I was expecting, and walked me through each aspect of the paperwork. There were no surprises, no haggling, and they made me feel like my business mattered to them. I cannot stress enough how great everyone's attitude was, and I would absolutely recommend Tarrytown Honda to anyone looking to buy..

I stopped into Tarrytown Honda because I saw a Chevy Silverado for sale on their website. I met Anisa when I entered the showroom and she asked if she could help me. I told her what I was interested in and she took me to look at the truck right away. I looked the truck over and we made arrangements for a test drive. When I returned for the test drive I met Chad and we took the truck out for a run! We returned to the showroom and discussed my trade in and the overall cost of the truck and came to a suitable settlement. Throughout the whole deal of buying the truck both Anisa and Chad were straight forward and open . I never got any feelings that there was any shady dealings going on like I had found at a several used car dealerships that I had visited in the past couple of weeks. On the whole it was a comfortable experience buying my truck from them. As the saying goes I give them 2 thumbs up for honesty and professionalism.

I bought my 1999 Honda Civic at Tarrytown Honda and always had good service. However, I was so disappointed with my experience with the Service dept. Phones weren't being answered. I had to call numerous times and call other departments only to be transferred to a recording. In some cases, I didn't get a recording. When I dropped off the car, I was given a price that was different when I picked up the car. When I questioned the price, the service manager told me he would give me a discount. Gee Whiz.... what a discount!!! It was the original price I was given which was already pretty high. The service van that was supposed to pick me up took 2 1/2 hours to arrive. When I first called for the service van, the receptionist (Stephanie) said that she would call me back. After 25 - 30 mins, I called to find out what was going on to only get a recording. I had to call the parts department and they told me she dialed out incorrectly. What!!!! How can a person that makes calls and answer calls not know how to dial out to make a local call in Westchester? I found that hard to believe. Well, I continued to wait and wait to only get a call from the driver that he was 30 miles away. Hmmm... just sounds really strange. A nice mechanic ended up picking me up. By this time, the entire day was gone and getting a price significantly higher than originally quoted was so annoying. Now, they're playing with the price??? It shouldn't matter who is on duty. The price quoted should have been the same. It just made me wonder if the price was being inflated.because they didn't think I was given a price already and if I would be taken advantage of in the future. I just hope this was an isolated experience. I was planning to buy my next car there because of the service I received for the last 14 years.

i gave a 4 on price, because before i went to tarrytown honda i called up and asked what the sticker price for a 2013 honda accord lx sedan was and i was told 20,900 not the 21,900 which was the actual sticker price. i do not know who i had talked to. other than this initial incorrect information i was very happy with the sales service and the car

We were in the market to lease a new Honda Odyssey. We live in Manhattan and I found Tarrytown Honda on the internet, they had a great lease deal on the car and I e-mailed them. Chelsea responded back quickly and answered all my questions and e-mails and I had a lot. She was patient and friendly. I scheduled a time to come and visit on the weekend and she told me I would meet with Chad. Chad met us in the parking lot before we even pulled in and was very pleasant. He walked me through every step of the process and everything was exactly as advertised on the internet - no last minute surprise or extra fees. The entire experience was amazing.. not at all what one comes to associate with dealership. From the minute you walk in you are met with friendly people who really care about helping you. My sales person was Chad and the sales manager was Jordan, they are super friendly, funny, and they both cared so much about finding the right car for me. They both dealt with me in a very direct, friendly and honest way. Wilson the finance manager, also was a great and helped me so much on the process. Overall, I'm very happy with the car, price, and treatment I got from everyone there, and I would recommend that place to everyone!

Some associates could be slightly, though not overly, pushy but they're always willing to sit down and talk you through every detail without trying to hide extra charges/fees. The dealership gave me the best possible price - I compared their offer with other offers and that was the main reason I went to Tarrytown HondaAnisa was very freindly, not pushy and very nice to deal with.We came in late Friday evening, so they could finish all the paperwork on that day, so we had to come back next morning.When we came next day - the car was clean and ready with inspection sticker on the windshield and temporary registration.Finance application was completed and approved and all other paperwork was all done and ready for us to sign.They've done everything by the time we came just as they promised on Friday, which was a very pleasant surprise for us!And the overall experience was very pleasant as well.I'll definitely recommend this dealership and especially Anisa to all my friends.

But this time my situation was a little more stressful, in terms of some set backs that I have had in my life. As a single mother and struggling, I needed a chance to prove myself and to turn thing around and get on my feet and that exactly what Honda has allowed me to do. Everyone was helpful, kind and let me know exactly what I was working with and I appreciate that, a lot. Remember, I've been with Honda for 6 years and each time my situation has been different, but I didn't come away feeling like I've gotten taken advantage of. I have to say that I was disappointed thinking that since I purchased a maintenance care plan with my leased Honda Civic that I would not have any out of pocket expenses. It was my first need for service (oil/filter change and a tire rotation). Making an appt. was easy, waiting for my repairs was not painful - had wi-fi and TV, newspaper and water, took me right away and the total time there was less than 40 minutes. When it came time to check out I was told that I had to pay for the tire rotation (manager stated it was not included). Reluctantly I paid cash and left. Went home and reviewed my Maintenance plan to discover that the tire rotation was included. The next day I went back with my brochure and was graciously told that I would have my money returned but they were not able to repay me with the cash that I paid them. I had to take a check which wasn't really fair but it is their policy. That was an inconvenience. Overall I have a bad taste in my mouth as the service dept. should have known that the service requested was included in my maintenance plan. Employees were very nice but should be informed of the maintenance plan.

This was my greatest car purchase experience. I had a great deal; the car was prepped up and ready when promised. All my customizations were checked over again to make sure I got everything to my satisfaction. Both Anthony and Rich were truly awesome. I found an Acura MDX 08 on Cars.com. I called the dealership and verified if the vehicle was available. I spoke to the sales person, Shanique Williams, whom told me that the vehicle was at the dealership and available. I made an appointment for the next day for a test driver. Half an hour before the dealership closed I called in again to make sure that the vehicle was still available, I was assured that it was and if anything changed, then she would call me if there was a problem. The next day, I drove 180 miles from Massachusetts to see the vehicle. When I got there, Shanique said "Sorry, but the vehicle is in the body shop". I was very infuriated, because I made an appointment for a test drive and the vehicle was not available for me when I got there. I was assured that the car was clean and not damaged. I found out that they were repairing nearly everything on the car, such as the rear and front bumpers, doors, the hood, and it has been in the body shop for several days. I can not understand how a dealership can set an appointment with a potential customer and not have the vehicle available for them to see or test drive when they arrive. I was determined to buy this vehicle while driving to the dealership for 4 hours. I have no words to describe my disappointment and frustration.

This was a very horrible experience at the dealership, the staff is unprofessional and irresponsible for lying to potential paying customers.

I brought my car in for maintenance including an oil change plus an estimate for other work. I decided to hold off on the expensive other work quoted but went ahead with the "summer special" for oil change and other maintenance. When I picked up my car, as soon as I drove off the lot, my red oil light came on. I brought the car to my nearby mechanic and THERE WAS NO OIL IN THE CAR. This could have been disastrous. I cannot trust they did any other maintenance or diagnostics with my car when they didn't even fill the oil!!!!!

From the first call put into this dealership in Tarrytown, our feeling was a good one. A very pleasant receptionist named Shanique greeted us and was able to not only give us information, but was able to actually provide us with a quote for the model car we were interested in. This was impressive to us because other dealerships we dealt with the receptionist always had to leave her post (the call) and get instructions from a higher rep.Using this information we drove to this dealership, about five miles, and met Shanique who directed us to a wonderful sales rep named Chad. I've dealt with sales reps before and this rep had a very easy-going manner that made me feel comfortable. I can say honestly, that I liked this chap! There was no sense of pressure. I felt as if it was me and my wife making the decisions regarding choice and payment. He never said no any counter requests from my wife and myself. Bottom line, we came to an acceptable agreement and we're now the proud owners of a spanking new 2013 CR-V.

Stopped in to Tarrytown Honda on a Sunday afternoon to look at a Pilot, My wife and I were looking to save some money by turning in an Acura MDX due to come off lease and switching over to a Pilot. I have leased a good amount of cars over the last 20 years and dealt with some sales and finance guys who made you want to take a shower when you were done talking to them. This was not the case at Tarrytown Honda. Al was a true professional, he immediately made us feel comfortable, listening and showing us what we wanted to see. Al was friendly, and knowledgeable without being slick and shady. We took a test drive liked it very much. My wife and I saw the savings by switching from the MDX to the Pilot and Al and the team were able to get us out of the final 3 months and get us into the new Pilot we wanted. I must say this was the best car buying experience we have ever had.

I bought a used Nissan Frontier paid $15,5000 and the truck had issues first thing I pointed out was the tires It had all mismatched tires and 2 of them were just about bald and 1 was all cracked that was the first don't worry we will take care of it second when I was taking it for a test drive heard a whining noise and told the salesman I didn't like it that was the second don't worry we will take care of it so I trusted them I bought lots of used cars before and never had any problems with what salesmen promised until Tarrytown Honda so I picked up my truck on a Saturday and first thing I noticed was they only put on 2 new tires so there was still the tire that was all cracked and dangerous and mind you it was inspected with a new sticker on the window and still the mismatched tire so I complained and after arguing back and fourth they gave me 1 more new tire and left the last one on that didn't match the car I do realize they weren't obligated to change the last one for safety reasons but come on 4 wheel drive truck with 1 tire that doesn't match so after fighting back and fourth I accepted it so on the drive home I noticed something wrong with the Transmission and the horn didn't work (which is part of a safety Inspection) and windshield was cracked and there was no spare tire and called them right away but couldn't get anyone to call me back after all the truck was sold so I went there in person at first they were not helpful then I told them that there was a TSB on the Transmission so they said they would check it out and turns out it was warrantied through Nissan and now I'm sure if it wasn't it would not have been fixed because the truck also has another TSB on the timing chain remember the whining noise I complained about that the salesmen said don't worry we will take care of it well they don't want to take care of it they are telling me that the truck is not broken and they cant fix it even though the timing chain guides and tensioner are wearing out and soon will be metal against metal they say its not broken if the timing chain breaks or jumps timing it will do extensive damage to the engine so I will have to fix it myself another $1800.00 dollars that I don't have so just to recap they gave me 3 new tires maybe a few hundred dollars they fixed the horn and didn't get that right the first time because they had to and gave me a spare tire windshield is still cracked and if it wasn't for the warranty on the transmission I would be paying for that too so a word of advice if you do buy a car there which I do not recommend get all your issues in writing because they will tell you anything to sell the car I never had such a bad experience with a dealer they are a bunch of liars and only care about the bottom line

First time buying car on my own- sales consultant was very friendly, not too pushy, and made everything very easy. I would have a liked a little bit better explanation from the financial guy regarding some of the exact numbers in retrospect, but I am very happy with my purchase. And I would highly recommend this honda dealership, ESPECIALLY compared to the other honda dealerships in a 50 mile radius.

Al was great. He was extremely knowledgable about the Pilot and understood our needs. His recommendation of purchasing the "demo" Pilot Touring Model was key in our purchase at your Honda Dealership. The only slight negative experience was the condition of the vehicle at pick up. Al gave a great orientation of the vehicle but both my wife and I were frustrated with the scratches on the key ignition cylinder as well as a couple digs and a scratch on the passenger side of the car. Aside from that, this was an outstanding experience. I would recommend Al to friends and colleagues interested in buying a Honda.

It did take some time to finalize the deal but I do appreciate the fact that the consultant Chad Sanders and the Manager Roberto Ortiz along with another manager (could not remember his name), spent the extra time to go above and beyond to obtain the vehicle and price I was looking for in addition to their friendly personalities. This is the second Honda CRV that I have purchased from Gary Testa within the past two years. Both transactions have included a trade-in and Gary has made each of the purchases and the processes involved effortless. He is an excellent sales consultant and a true professional at what he does. We won a 2 year lease on a Honda Civic Hybrid at a fundraiser auction. The staff at the dealership was so excited for us and friendly. It was not what I was expecting at all since we really got such a steal, I expected that they would not want to waste time with us. I have been looking for a vehicle for quite some time with various dealerships. Even though I have gotten my current car serviced by Tarrytown Honda, I was looking for a vehicle in my price range at any dealership. At the time I began to look, I didn't consider Tarrytown Honda only because I was looking at the car buying services with my banks online. When I finally sat down to make a decision with a particular make and model, I went to Tarrytown Honda's website and saw the perfect vehicle in my price range. I then drove over to their dealership and spoke with Paul Vilca, the sales manager and explained to him of what my desires were in a vehicle. He welcomed me with a professional attitude and I told him which car I was looking for. He proceeded to pass me over to Anisa Doda. Anisa introduced herself in a warm welcoming way. I told her what I wanted and the color I desired. She gave a great recommendation even though my heart was set on a particular color. When she walked me to the car (2009 Honda Accord Silver EX-L) that I did look at, she began to go over the history of the dealership and even down to the features of the car. I really appreciated her because other places I went to never comforted me to know that my choice is a good choice not just the car but the place I am buying it from. The others in this survey that I checked have always been pleasant as well just when I visited the dealership to service my car. Thank you Tarrytown Honda for making me realize why I go there. Overall it was a great experience, Anisa was very professional and yet down to earth and honest. I didn't once feel like I was being sold, I felt as if we were working together to find the Honda that I really liked, and was right for me to lease, especially the right price. Which was no easy feat with my limited finances, but Anisa was with me every step of the way and I have to say went out of her way to make it a win-win situation.And Anisa worked closely with Ed Nunez on my financing. They were both superb in helping to make this happen for me inspite of my credit not exactly being stellar. I spent quite a bit of time with Ed discussing the misfortunate issue recently, that ruined 30 years of excellent credit. He could see where the difficulties began, and prior to that time, my good credit. And the fact that I am now working closely with my creditors to resolve the issue. Ed understood my situation and went out of his way, to say the least, working with Honda financing to get me approved. And obviously, he did. :)Bottom line, I loved working with Anisa and Ed, but the time I left in my new beautiful 2013 Honda Civic, I felt like I had made two new friends. The minute I called the dealership I felt comfortable. When I went for my test drive the sales rep was very professional and went over everything he could in detail. Once I came to get the car both the sales rep, used car manager and the finance manager were very helpful and comforting and very efficient in getting all the paperwork and the car in order so that I can drive it off the lot. I had a very good experience with this dealership and would highly recommend it to people that I know that are looking for a new or used automobile.

My experience at honda was very positive because of G. Blloshmi, he by far is the best salesman that has arranged a lease for me. He is organized, detail oriented and very efficient. Mr Blloshmi is professional,engaging and attentive. Mr Blloshmi had my car ready to pick up within a few hours despite my requesting installation of a remote starter, fog lights, cargo cover and wheel locks.My ex husband and I have leased 4 cars from Tarrytown Honda and will continue to do business with them as they try their best to accomodate their customers. They made it possible for me to turn in my lease 14 months early so I could lease an AWD CRV ( I am a nurse who has to drive to work no matter what the weather is )

I want to start by saying that I normally hate car shopping because most of the time, sales people try to "double talk" you into buying something that you really never wanted to begin with! However, yesterday, I had the pleasure of working with a wonderful sales person named Chad. I came in for an oil change for my old car and after chatting with Chad, I ended up leaving in a new Accord! He made my experience hassle-free. I am very happy with the car he sold me and I will definitely continue to get all of my services done at this dealership. I hope Honda knows what an asset this man is to your company.

Mel was our point of contact and showed my spouse, Carol, the Honda Fit. He was very knowledgable and a very good listener. He offered the Sport Fit at a competitive price and was not "pushy". We left, having test driven the Masda 3, the Toyota Prius C, the Ford Fusion and the Suburu Impreza. Several days later Carol came back and tested the Impreza and the Fit. She decided on the Fit.We decided to sell Carol's 2000 Acura Integra rather than take Tarrytown Honda's low trade in price. After 7 days of trying to sell the Integra on our own, and hearing all the reasons why our prospective buyer's could not come through we went back to mel and said "we'll take the trade in price you offered". Two days later we swapped the 2000 Integra for the brand new Honda Sport Fit. We are thrilled with the new car.One negative point from the closing visit is that we were offered a 7 year 80,000 mile New Car Warranty on the Fit. We heard nothing about this prior to our closing. The cost, at $1,500 for the term sounded extreemly expensive (particularly since it only covered the 4 years beyond the basic warranty and 2 years beyond the power train warranty). While we signed up for it, the more I think it through the more I feel it is not worth it. How can I get some more information about i\this package?Hugh

My experience with Gary was excellent. We work together on the phone, but thought it better to take the drive from NJ to meet and test drive the cars. My husdand and I test drove the CRV and the Accord, and leased the CRV. We then deceided to purchase a used 2010 Civic for my husband to use for business and turn his truck into a work vehicle. Everything went smoothly and Tarrytown even delivered our cars to NJ. We will be going back when the lease is up.

For the past 30 years I was an avid Toyota customer. I decided that I wanted a change and so I went to Tarrytown Honda. When I entered the showroom Anisa introduced herself to me. I told her what I wanted and she was extremely helpful. She explained all the options that came with the car. She was very professional and at the same time personal. I told her that I think she gained a new Honda customer. In Jan. I had an appointment with Anisa again. Within an hour I leased a second car from her. Once again,I was so pleased with the way things went. I would like to say that Anisa is a definite asset to the company. Thank you for the terrific experience I had in leasing my two cars. The Sales Consultant Mrs. Anisa Doda is very kwowledgeable, pleasant and courtous when dealing with us. She make sure that the deal is going smoothly from the begining to the very end . If we have any problems or questions about the sale, she will try to answer us as soon as posible. We are very happy with Tarrytown Honda and all good people we have met. The sales man was GREAT! However the finance dept is shady! They told my husband and I the notes for our 2013 accords were $333 and $357 and actually took the first months payment and when we came to pick up the cars and complete the deal they raised mine from $333 to $367 and my husbands from $357 to 377. That's bull. You shouldn't have told is one thing and took the first months payment to then raise both notes. Then when I refused they left the room claiming they would call Honda finance and literally came back in 2 mins saying Honda finance agreed to a $20 decrease. Real shady!

I went to Tarrytown Honda in search of a CR-Z and they did not disappoint. Mrs. Doda (my saleswoman) answered every question I had and worked hard to earn my business. The delivery process was painless in spite of the fact that the car had to be driven 100 miles from its original location. Mrs. Doda handled both switching insurance coverage from my old car to my new CR-Z as well as transferring the New York State registration. Upon delivery, the car was clean and no damage was done over the course of its journey. As this is my first true car-buying experience I would have to say, it's been a good one. My thanks, also to Mr. Wilson Velez who helped explain what was required of me before taking delivery in a respectful and painless manner.

Our car was totalled in Hurricane Sandy and we also sustained damage to our home. We were car shopping under stressful circumstances and visited numerous Honda dealers to purchase a replacement Odyssey. After failing in good faith negotiations, having our fair and reasonable offers rejected at the other dealerships, we took the drive to Tarrytown. Gary Testa was awesome and sold us a fantastic van at a fair price. Sure they could have tried to squeeze every cent from us but instead were compassionate and sympathetic to our plight. Bottom line is its nice to see a dealership do the right thing and put people ahead of maximum profit. I will recommend them to anyone and everyone in the market for a Honda!

I had a great experience throughout the entire purchase process. Anthony turned me over to a Sales consultant; Victor Lopez. Victor was very knowledgeable and showed me all of the great features car had to offer. Their entire staff was friendly and caring. After I took delivery, i had a few follow up calls from their internet staff and victor to make sure I was completely satisfied with my vehicle. Spoke to Anthony over the phone regarding a published lease deal and asked if there were any additional cost beside the listed down payment in the advertisement. He said no and I did realize that there would be taxes, bank fees, etc, but I was unaware of the additional $1400 cap cost reduction fee that I was told about when I sat down with a salesman. The salesman Alex was honest and told me this fee was just more money out of my pocket to make my down payment bigger in order to get the monthly price down to the advertised monthly payment. I took a 30 minute drive down to the dealership after a day of work after asking Anthony if there were any other costs that I needed to know about before heading down; his response was "no, it's $2000 down with $292 a month payment". What a scam!

My experience at the dealership was very positive. I called to schedule a same day appointment to discuss turning in a vehicle early and they accommodated me. I was greeted by the customer service person and immediately introduced to a salesperson. I'm changing my one star review to a good one as Eddie Giron and Austin Asante ended up giving me great customer service. My original upset came from seeing an ad for a used Subaru in the amount of $11,999 on Ebay. After numerous phone conversations with Anthony, I was assured that car was in perfect condition, I would get a couple of hundred dollar discount and the only additional fees I would see would be a document fee, DMV and Taxes. However when I got to the dealership I was told by Paul Vilca that a couple of hundred dollar discount meant $100-150 and there would be a $785 "prep fee" added to total price. I left the premises feeling scammed, but called back a couple of days later to speak with Eddie, the used sales manager, who was very friendly and able to reduce prep fee to $495. He also replaced air filter and flushed the transmission for me and added two new tires. The car came in excellent condition. I still ended up paying $700 more than I was originally quoted over the phone, but the final price was still a good one. There are some friendly people working here, but if you plan to buy a car from them, just make sure you ask them what the "prep fee" is beforehand.

From the minute I walked into the dealership to the minute I left I felt right at home. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful especially the sales consultant, Chad Sanders. I was impressed with Anisa Doda, it was raining and I was outside and she came out in the rain to see which car I was interested in. The car was no longer in stock but she persuaded me in a very smooth non pressuring way to buy a different one and I did. She was terrific in explaining the to me about the car, show me how the instruments worked and test driving it. When we returned to the dealership she was great with bringing the managers and finance guy over and to make a long story short I bought that car. Our Honda Civic was coming off lease in a few months, and we were responding to a letter we received about early termination to obtain a new lease. We were interested in the Honda CRV, as well as cars by two other manufacturers, having seen one of the other cars beforehand, we visited Tarrytown Honda and met with jay. He was very good in explaining the details of the Honda CRV, and wasn't at all pushy. We eventually decided to go ahead with a CRV and not bother seeing the third car. We negotiated a good price/lease, which wasn't too time consuming, and concluded the process the following day when we traded in our Civic for a new CRV. One thing that Jay did which we really appreciated was to take the time to explain how everything worked in the car, and set up the Blu-Tooth for our two telephones.

Wilson and I have a friend in common and when it came close to my 3 year lease expiring with Toyota, I decided to meet Wilson and discuss my options. Well, I can see now why our mutual friend recommended I see Wilson. He's very straight forward and sincere. Wilson doesn't tell you what you want to hear just to get a sale, he has integrity which is tough to find in a car dealer! He told me what my options were for turning my Camry in 4 months early with dents and scrapes all over from parking in Manhattan. I initially went in to better inform myself and do research but after meeting Wilson and knowing that with a Honda, I'd come out on top, I bought a 2012 Accord that day! My experience at Tarrytown Honda was phenomenal. I came in for an oil change, and I was treated with great customer service through the entire experience. The person I spoke with to make the appointment was great and she gave me an appointment the same day. When I drove into the service department, everything was done efficiently and effectively. I was so pleasantly surprised to have my oil change completed in 20 minutes as they promised! I've dealt with two other Honda service departments in the past year, and this is the best one I've been to with the best customer service--everyone was so nice and friendly and helpful. I have to drive a little out of my way to come to this Honda dealer, but I will happily make the drive again when I need my car serviced.

Chad found me in the service section after being told how much my repairs would cost. I wasn't planning on buying a new car, but he explained to me all the pros and cons about keeping my old one, or upgrading to a new car. Everything he said made total sense. He found me the perfect car for my purposes and worked out a good deal for trade in, plus he took care of all the registration and insurance transfers. I have always been happy with Honda, and this dealer/service facility, and along with Chad's expertise, felt comfortable in purchasing a new car from him without a lot of concerns (and with no intention of buying a new car when I brought my car in for service) Chad is a very knowledgeable, articulate young man who seems honest and trying to help people with their decision to purchase a new vehicle.

I recently leased a Toyota and at that dealership the sales rep seemed to be a lot like the typical car salesman. I spent a long time at Toyota, it was very frustrating and at the end of it all I felt like I never wanted to buy/lease a car again. I went to Tarrytown Honda to get a second vehicle, prior to my arrival I called and received very direct answers. I was expecting the sales pitches to begin and for the prices to change when I walked through the door. My sales rep was Gary Testa. He was very easy to deal with, and pleasant to deal with. The process went a lot smoother and quicker than with Toyota. It was also nice that the environment was filled with friendly employees. I'm sure I will continue to do business there in the future. I only wish I would've gone there first.

We recently purchased a 2012 Odyssey. Rich was the first to greet us and he was very professional and friendly. From the first moment, I could tell he was looking out for our best interests. Jordan Rabadi was the sales manager and he was both friendly and honest. We went to several dealers and Jordan was by far the easiest person to deal with. He did not play the usual games of "price is only good today" or "maybe we can do this etc." It was a pleasure dealing with him. When we picked up the car, Jordan wanted to make us happy and made sure we had what we needed. I thought the car came with mud guards and was disappointed that it didn't. Jordan threw them in with no additional charge after the deal was already negotiated. This is a dealership that wants their customers to be happy and not just until the deal is signed. They offer the best prices in Westchester. I recommended them to a friend who came up from Queens and bought a CRV the same week. Moreover, they offer fair prices for trade-ins which is a difficult thing to find. Chad helped us out with our paperwork as well and he too is very personable. Great team! I came into the Honda Dealer to explore the purchase of a new vehicle. I must say I was not quite ready to make a purchase at that time. However, I was greeted at the door by Gary Testa, who was very friendly. I was very impressed by Gary's "no pressure" and very informative nature. I was presented with some options that were low pressure and very pleasing to my ear. I ended up leasing a brand new Accord. My experience with the new car was not what I expected after having previously driven my old car for several years. However, Gary and Bill Loweree were very accommodating in answereing any questions I had after my purchase. I was sent to Tarrytown Honda by a family member who had numerous pleasant experiences with this dealership. I'm from NJ, about an hour away, and it was well worth the trip! Chad took me for the test drive and made me feel very comfortable. He was genuine, informative and professional. At no time did I feel the pressure that is usually associated with car salesman. Bill helped me with the numbers and gave me many options in terms of financing so that I could keep my monthly payment at a number I was comfortable with. I visited Tarrytown Honda to buy a car 10 years ago and did not buy from them. I have since had my car serviced there and have been happy most of the time. Jay Silverman is very professional and has full command of what he is doing. He knows the product and extended himself though out the entire time. I walked in Tuesday morning and picked up a new car at 3pm the next day. All those involved were efficient and personable. On another note - I took a trip to Yonkers Honda the day before since I was in the area.I wish I could remember the salesman's name - he was less than helpful and was totally not interested in selling anything. He could have cared less - he had a hard time just getting up from his desk to open the front door of the floor model. I lasted 5 min. To bad!

I Made an appointment to inspect my front wheels due to vibration on highway. Was thinking of just buying two new drums but wanted them to see first, as possibly hazardous condition. Came on time however was told that this type of work (inspecting the two wheels!?) MAY TAKE ALL DAY TO DO because he already has FORTY cars before me, so I either leave the car or come back another day... I needed the car laterFirst, I made an appointment in advance, came and you are telling me that because I'm not for oil change I need to leave? Why did you make so many appointments in the first place?Second, they told me that I need to pay 140$ for inspection of two wheels before they will actually charge me for any work. It smelled as a rip off right from the start... So I just left The facilities look awful, like they were built in 50s and never been renovatedOverall, huge disappointment - don't go there

Gary was fantastic from the first time I met him last Sunday, until I drove my beautiful 2012 EX L out of the show room Saturday afternoon. I am a woman and and was shopping for my own car for the first time in my life and I am a senior citizen. Gary treated me with respect and courtesy and patiently answered all my questions. When I called him and told him I wanted his best price I heard back from him quickly and with a very good price. As an aside, I asked another dealer for that same information and I have yet to hear back from him. In another instance I was treated to a salesman playing games with a price. His manage, when I remarked that he was way out of line, came over claiming it was his fault he had quoted me on a 6 cylinder instead a four. I walked out of that showroom as fast as I could. With Gary there was nothing like that. He told me he would give me the best price he could the first time around and he did. We happen to have a friend who is a Honda dealer upstate and he was amazed at the price. So, aside from price everything was handled quickly and efficiently when I came to pick up the car it was all ready, most of the paper work we had done and only the final last minute papers remained to be signed. I would like to say that I really aprreciate Charlene Rothbart. She called me and told me she would be looking for a car for me and she did just that. I've been to other dealerships and they kind've brush you off. Charlene was very consistent and determined to not only get me into a car but get me into the car that I desired. She also introduced me to an attentive salesperson. Mr. Lopez listened and made sure that everything that needed to be taken care of with the car was indeed taken care of. The transaction was quick and efficient and I really appreciate that. Believe it or not, I bought 3 used cars for my twin boys who just turned 17 years old and my older son in Apil 2012. This was the second dealership I went to while looking for a 2010 Honda Pilot. The first dealership advertised a vehicle they did not have on the lot. Tarrytown Honda had the vehicle as advertised. They gave me a very fair price on my trade in and on the vehicle I purchased. The dealer that handled my purchase was extremely friendly and helpful. He was also very knowledgeable. The car was ready when promised and all the paperwork was ready for me to sign when I went to pick up the truck. Tarrytown Honda made my truck purchase a very pleasant experience. No hard sell from Gary Testa. He even showed us the going rate for a Honda Fit. Also, we had acquired a bank loan at a low rate and he vowed to come up with one that matched it or was lower -- and financial manager, Ed Nunez, also amazingly honest, did!Gary answered most of our questions before we could ask them. It may go against your grain to trust an auto sales person, but you can trust Gary.

From the first time I visited Tarrytown Honda to have my mother's Acura serviced, the staff at the dealership was extremely attentive without being pushy and was quite knowledgeable with regards to the entire Honda auto line of products. I had a great experience working with Bill Loweree, Sr. as well as with Bill Matari and Bill Loweree, Jr. and I visited at least 20 different dealerships that sold other brands and also sold Hondas...nobody else came close to the level of client service received at Tarrytown Honda and nobody seemed to care nearly as much about me as a customer and as a person as Tarrytown Honda did. This service, their ability to secure affordable and reasonable financing for me as I leased my first car and their follow up makes Tarrytown Honda a car dealer I have already recommended and will continue to suggest to friends, coworkers or anyone else in the market for a car.

I bought 2 car there in february 20 and my used van has giving me nothing but promblems and they had my van longer then me. I would not send anyone there to buy a car. I feel like all they give me is the run around. I spent over 700 in cabs after I bought a car now my van turns off why you driving:-( and no one is returning my calls.

Our salesperson, Chad Sanders did everything we could ask for in finding the kind of car we were looking for at a very fair price. Chad is an amazing salesperson. He understood what we were looking for and showed us how the car we selected really fit our need, and conversed with confidence and warmth. We had visited a few other manufacturer's dealerships and you would be surprised how they led us to have less confidence in the car as an option. He is probably the best salesman we have ever encountered. He is not judgmental - just shoots straight and helps the process move along. I was called into the dealership with an offer for me to trade in my 2010 Honda Accord EX early (they needed to increase their inventory on certified pre-owned vehicles) and I would be able to walk away with a 2012 model for either the same payment per month or lower. I decided to take them up on their offer. When I went to the dealership, Alana put me in touch with Chad who immediately got down to work in helping me get out of my current lease and into a brand new car. The process in total was only 2 hours! I was in and out so quickly and without any "hiccups". He was professional and courteous and I felt comfortable with the transaction. He even hooked me up with a model that had wood trim- an added bonus that I was unaware of until I went to drive off in my new car and my payments per month are slightly lower. This was a great experience overall.
