All the TLC is wonderful! I called in a panic on my way home from the jersey shore when a light appeared on the dash! Your staffer (Jim, I believe) listened carefully and explained what it meant and reassured me that the car would not blow up on the WW Bridge! The next day, you all squeezed me in and I got the full check and what ever else the car needed---and a super shuttle drive home by another nice guy! Great service, great price, great people! The patience and communication. Even though it took them a long time to tell me what is wrong with the car and I did call a few times during the day to follow up every time I called they were just as patient and courteous as the last time. I was getting impatient because I had turned my car in at my scheduled appointment time of 4pm , didn't have a diagnosis until 5pm the next day and I had a rental- I started calling frequently in the afternoon because they would say "give me an hour, give me an hour or so" so I called back a few times to see if I still need the rental. Everytime Brian stayed calm and patient with me even though you could hear how busy they were. Also during the original repair my windshield was accidentally broken Brian was upfront with me and worked with me in terms of dropping off my car and getting it fixed.

I love the fact that if I am not certain about a recommendation for repair, and question it, the service people never take offense to my questions and will go out of their way to prove the repair or replacement is necessary. Frank Garthewaite was attentive and patient when I was surprised by having to replace my tires sooner than expected. The original sales person to my car even went out and inspected the tires to reassure me. This dealership has always treated me well in the 15 years I have been working with them.

Tom Diiorio was wonderful. He was respectful, communicative, and worked hard to get me the best deal possible. He actively listened to what I was looking for and respected my opinion. He went out of his way to help make the sale a success without being "a salesman". No wait when I arrived. The service representative spoke to me right away and went over all the reasons for my visit. Also, the automatic garage openers were great on such a cold day. They really kept the wind and cold out. Wifi in the waiting area made it easy for me to get work done while the service was performed.

Totally unaware my inspection sticker expired, I received a violation around 3p, my next meeting was at 4p. Immediately drove over to Toyota about 3:30p-ish walked in without an appointment. Went to my 4p meeting, which was over around 6p when I received the call from Archie that my car was ready. Thank you Toyota!

I drove in off the street when an icon popped up on the dash--I thought it indicated low brake fluid; it turns out it was low tire pressure because of the extreme cold. (The Jetta icon for low brake fluid looks a great deal like the Toyota icon for low tire pressure.) You folks checked out all the tires and reinflated them--for free. I was in and out in 30 minutes. What more can someone ask for!

Archie Gibbs was very helpful in resolving a problem with my hood release, so that I could add washer fluid and be prepared for an upcoming snowstorm. Central City Toyota strives to offer good customer service. When I first took my car here, I had an issue with being overcharged, as I described in my original post. However, after posting my review here, Central City Toyota called me and was very apologetic for what had happened when I was there. When I returned to have my vehicle serviced for new tires, the manager did personally see to my service concerns and, in his words, gave me "the best deal in the city." DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR SERVICE! The service department is not up-front with you about any costs, and they will perform the work without your consent, leaving you to foot the bill when you return. AND, they are DISHONEST in what they charge! I had a voucher to pay for an oil change, tire rotation, and car wash, and had to pay an additional charge for synthetic oil, which I was not advised of beforehand. Additionally, they tried charging me for the oil filter (which was covered under the voucher) and for 5 quarts of oil even though my car only takes three quarts! When I pointed this out to the management, I was told it was an "honest mistake" with no apology for the error. When I tried telling a manager my story the next day, he said he would get back to me and never did. DON'T BRING YOUR CAR HERE unless you like dishonest service centers.

Tim Woodard was very helpful deciding on a car that is very Economical and Reliable. He made me feel very comfortable with him showing me a car for a large person. The car is roomy with lots of leg room. The car is very good on gas. He spent time making sure this car was right for me. He made sure I had a good warranty being a used car. Service completed in the approximate time provided. Waiting area pleasant. I appreciated the wi fi service very much, as well as the reading material that was available. Kudos to the Service Manager, Jamie is such a blessing. I watched and listened as he was si attentive to an elderly couple who were getting their car serviced. I am always impressed when our seniors are given the special consideration that they deserveavailable. I continue to comment that generally employees do not readily offer a greeting to the customers; however they will usually respond positively when greeted. The noticeable exception is the Service Manager, Jamie; he is always friendly, courteous, helpful, accomodate in every way possible.

I arrived at the end of the day. It may have been after closing time. I am not sure but I know that the staff were courteous and reassuring. My low tire pressure light was on and although I had added air to the tires it would not turn off. The staff took the car and checked out the tire pressure and filled it to the appropriate level. I was in and out in less than a half hour. The car is driving fine now and the low pressure light is off.

My experience went from horrible to excellent. Had a horrible experience with a Sales Rep named Lewis who was overly pressuring me, disrespectful, annoying, lacked some knowledge of vehicle and my experience with almost made me leave and never come back. I spoke with Chris and Ted and they apologized for Lewis behavior and gave me excellent customer which made me feel comfortable to purchase a vehicle.

I needed to switch my registration from Delaware back to Philadelphia, and dreaded the process of having to go to a tech center and then back to you for the inspection. When I spoke with the service advisor about having had the same problem earlier, he investigated and prorated the needed part - an auto battery. He was pleasant and didn't challenge me and my assertion re: the same issue previously. I congratulate he and Mr Lee (who has serviced me previously). I rated quality of repair 3 stars because a previously Toyota battery (Alexandria VA) lasted me less than 20K and was only 2 years old. The jury is still out on this battery.

I recently purchased my first Lexus from Tim and Central Toyota. The process was quick and stress free. Tim was very patient and answered all of my questions . Initially I placed my application online and the next day I purchased my vehicle . I thought this was going to be a long drawn out process with a sales guy haggling over prices and trying to put me in a car that I didn't like . Boy was I wrong. This was my best car experience ever! Having destroyed my credit back in college, I thought working with a "real" car dealer was out of the question. After weeks of a constant headache of going back and forth from used car lots on the outskirts of the city just to feel like I was getting taken advantage of by your "storybook" used car salesman I stumbled upon Central City Toyota. 1) My appointment was made with ease. Everything can be booked online and the salespeople call you to confirm - excellent communication. The inventory is updated frequently and the car you are interested in can be transported from their sister dealership within an excellent time frame. 2) When you don't own a car (this purchase is actually my first car at age 26) you'd be surprised to find that the car dealerships in the city of Philadelphia are generally not accessible by public transportation. Apparently CCT is the last big brand name car dealership located within a reasonable distance from Center City. I think the next closest ones are down by that airport and that's a nightmare on Septa. CCT is just a few shorts blocks off of the 46th St stop of the El. 3) Hours: Open 'till 8pm. Self explanatory. Tim was my salesman at CCT. After my few weeks of searching for a vehicle, I thought it would not be possible to find someone who is knowledgeable of the product inventory, friendly, helpful and responsive, however I was wrong! His communication and professionalism go unmatched in this business. I had originally made an appointment to see one vehicle, but it was ultimately not the right option for me. Little did I know there was an even better option for me in way better condition for a price I could afford. Since this was my first car purchase I was absolutely clueless in the steps it took to buy a vehicle, but Tim was communicative and responsive throughout the entire process. The other staff there was also friendly and helpful, especially when it came to understanding the insurance policy I needed to get to qualify for financing. I would definitely recommend Central City Toyota to anyone who's looking for a breath of fresh air in the automotive industry.

Our experience was absolutely wonderful. Ricky has excellent customer service skills. He was very helpful with answering all of our questions and concerns about the purchase of a new or used car. Ricky even helped with finding the right vehicle, with a large enough trunk to accommodate my wife's wheelchair. Ricky even put it into the trunk, to make sure it would fit. How considerate is that. Again, Ricky was absolutely wonderful. We really appreciate the time he took with us. We are, without question, really enjoying our 2013 Toyota Camry. Thanks again for the experience.

Purchasing a car from Central City Toyota was an absolutely pleasant experience. I was in the market for a certified pre-owned car, and really did my homework before deciding on a Toyota. I visited multiple dealerships at the Philadelphia Auto Mall - including Kia, Nissan, Honda, and Ford dealerships - as well as a few dealerships in Cherry Hill, NJ. Everywhere I went, salesmen were pushy and tried to sell me something I didn't want. But my experience with Tim Woodard at Central City Toyota was completely different. I told him my budget and he never tried to push me to spend more. In fact, he only wanted to show me cars that fit within my budget. He pointed me directly toward the single car on the lot that was the size, price, and even color I was looking for. He even set me up with an insurance provider that was incredibly affordable (honestly the cheapest insurance I've ever had). Rather than being pushy, Tim really worked with me to find something that suited my needs. Since buying the car, I have still been able to go back to Tim for support. When someone scratched the paint on the car, Tim had the painter at the dealership paint it for free. And when I wanted black floor mats (the beige ones got dirty too fast), Tim hooked me up with those too. For a lower price than I was able to find anywhere else in Philadelphia or New Jersey, I got a 2010 certified pre-owned Toyota with an extended 3-year warranty, and a salesman who continues to be reliable, friendly, and supportive. I could call Tim with any problem, and he'd find a solution. This was the best car-buying experience of my life. I highly recommend Central CIty Toyota and Tim Woodard.

My experience was so bad I left with a headache nearly in tears and had to come home and lay down. They put tires on my car that I did not ask for and made all the excuses as to why they did not consult me first. And they refused to honor the price quote I was given when I received the recommendation to get tires. When I told the gentleman that I was upset and that I did not want the tires because they did not match the ones that I already had (I only needed two) they disregarded my plea. I still want to get the tires that I know work for me and after research on the tires they gave me I found that they do not have a rating for ice and the ones i already had and asked for initially do. I am so mad I am gonna contact the corporate office tomorrow.

I went into Central Toyota with an idea of what I wanted and how much I was willing to spend. My salesperson,Tim Woodard, wen above and beyond to keep me within my limits. I went to another dealership a week prior to going to Central City and had a bad experience (Salesperson too pushy, only talked to my boyfriend, even though I'm the one buying the car, on top of trying to get me into a high mileage car with an interest rate that would any grown person cry), so I was already not feeling the car buying process. Tim and the folks at Central City eased my nervousness and we were able to work together. I felt like I was treated with the upmost respect and it was a completely no pressure experience. Even when I looked at another car that was a bit more pricey, Tim politely steered me away from it, knowing that it wasn't in my range. The next car I get will most certainly be from Central City Toyota!

Due to work commitments, I had to cancel the meeting initially scheduled with Tim Woodard to visit the Central City Toyota dealership. A few days later, while I was at the Nissan dealership, I was extremely surprise to receive a follow-up call from Tim to re-schedule my visit. After much persuasion, I left Nissan (where I was going to purchase a car) and headed on down to Toyota. Tim pleasant demeanor made it extremely easy to ask probing questions and with his knowledgeable background, he was able to explain the differences between leasing vs. buying a car, in addition to the pros and cons. As a novice in the car industry, I found Tim to be extremely patient as he showed me every car on the lot that day. He even went a step further by showing me cars via the internet and offering to take me to the Plymouth location where I could view some additional vehicles, within my price range. Tim was determined to sell me a car that day and after hours of being at the dealership, I am pleased to say that I walked off the lot with my Toyota Corolla. Car shopping is never fun, but I had an excellent experience with Tim Woodard and Central City Toyota. After looking at their website and inquiring about a car and a credit check I was promptly contacted and my history was immediately run. The website was well organized and accurate, complete with CarFax reports. Tim was extremely flexible about making an appointment as I have a hectic schedule. After explaining to Tim which car I liked and what I was looking for, he showed me several similar cars but was never pushy. He even calculated what my monthly payments would be for each option. Once I decided on a car Tim made it as seamless a transition as possible for me to take my car home. He helped with contacting my insurance company and all the other paperwork involved. After his job was done he stayed well past most normal business hours to ensure that everything went okay, and even contacted me immediately when I had left something behind. Everyone at Central City Toyota was extremely courteous and professional. I have since, and will continue to recommended them to friends especially Tim Woodard in particular. Let me start by saying I usually do not write reviews for products I purchase. However, because I was extremely impressed with my experience buying a new car from Central City Toyota, I thought I would write one. I delayed shopping for a new car because I really did not want to deal with the "used car" salesman approach with all the haggling and nonsense that I have experienced in the past from other dealerships. I did all my research and decided that I wanted to purchase a 2012 Highlander. I went to the dealership prepared for a horrible experience. I was pleasantly surprised that the sales representative Tim Woodard made the experience hassle free. He drove me to the Ardmore location that had the new vehicle I was looking for. He guided me through several choices and we test drove the one I wanted. He worked with his manager to get the deal exactly were I wanted it and I left with my new vehicle that day. I wish every dealership had sales reps like Tim. He is the reason I will come back to this dealership. I recommend everyone ask for Tim Woodard because he has a passion for what he does and it shows in the way he interacts with his customers and takes the hassle and fear out of a major buying decision. My experience with Central City Totota was truly a beneficial one from the onset. I had the misfortune of being informed my car was totaled from an accident, which placed me in the category of someone looking for a used, reliable vehicle. I had received excellent service from Central City Totota in the past so i decided that they would be my starting point. Fortunately i didn't have to look any further. We found Tim to be an excellent and helpful salesman. He explained everything to us very clearly, and was also helpful on follow-up visits when we needed help with details. We are very happy with our 2012 RAV4.

I recently had a Prius at Paul Bros for body repair. The service was excellent, thanks to Roger. The rental dept also assisted me in renting a car for the time of repairs. They were courteous and mindful of my needs. I have never been disappointed by the quality of workmanship or the customer service at Central City.

Mr. Woodard provided as much information about the vehichle. The carfax was provided on the vehicle and the car was a certified car. He was also able to assist with car insurance quote since my previous car insurance was giving me a high quote. I would definitely recommend my friends and family to purchase a car at this location. When it comes to someone selling you an excellent vehicle for your budget one name sticks out to me. That name is Tim Woodard. His smile and welcoming personality gave me a great vibe. This has been the second time that I have bought a vehicle from Mr. Woodard. Let me tell you how good he is. In 2008, I bought a 2003 Mazda Protfrom Mr. Woodard courtesy of the used car section at Central City Toyota. I needed the car in order to go to school. Once I graduated and paid off the Mazda, I went to Mr. Woodard just to see about trading options. Mr. Woodard pointed me into the direction of a 2006 Matrix. Not only was this car nicer than my Prot but it was up to date and what I needed. Woodard calculated figures and found a way for me to purchase the car that day. Shocked and impressed, Woodard shook my hand and congratulated me on my new Toyota Matrix. Tim Woodard exemplifies great customer service at Toyota. We called Tim on Monday afternoon, made appointment with him to see the car on Tues at 11:00. We arrived on time, Tim greeted us and was immediately enthusiastic about showing us the vehicle. He answered all of our questions, went with us on a test drive and gave us plenty of alone time to discuss our decision. He even drove us to the bank to get the money for our purchase. He was courteous and respectful with us. We did not feel pressured and would do business with him again.

I was extremely pleased with my buying experience with Tim Woodard. He was professional, well versed aboutt he vehicle that I purchased and his customer service skills were second to none. I received a "We Owe" for my vehicle upon purchase, and I had to bring my vehicle back two times. Aside from some frustration associated with the inconvenience of bringing my vehicle back and forth, I was pleased overall with my purchasing experience since this is the first car I financed. My personal mechanic accompanied me and Tim was confident in the value of my 2007 Toyota Camry and the price for which he sold it was very reasonable!!!
