I normally don't write about my experiences, but I will for this one as I received outstanding service from Ballweg. The folks at Ballweg provided excellent service. Here is an example: As I accidentally left my paperwork at the dealership, my sales rep, Kou, contacted me immediately. I live about 30 miles from La Crosse so he offered to mail it to me. I was shocked to see the my paperwork in the mail the very next day as Kou took it upon himself to priority mail the documents. Kou is the best sales rep I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I will come back to Ballweg because of him.

I have been looking to buy a car for some time and I have my own reservations about the process. As a first time buyer, it's quite intimidating. However, I have been hearing great things about Kou at Ballweg Toyota and was referred by several to go to him. I have to say, there's good reason why he gets so many referrals. He was very nice and hospitable. I never felt intimidated and even though I had my brother with me he didn't direct questions or comments to my brother; he made sure to direct them to me. He never once pressured me into anything however, he made sure I knew what my options where and what services or things I could have whether that be the car itself or the services from Ballweg Totyota. He made me not only feel comfortable about my decision in my car purchase but he also made me feel like I was making the right decision. Many times we can get talked into buying things or talked into buying bells and whistles but I didn't feel Kou was trying to do that at all. I felt he really cared not just about helping me find a car but the right car. Thank you Kou for your work and service. Ballweg Toyota is very luck to have a great sales representative as you. I'll definitely be looking for your help in the years to come.

I recently purchased a used 2007 Honda Odyssey from Ballweg Midwest Toyota. Process from test driving to purchase of the vehicle was handled with professionalism and personal courtesy. I received the vehicle with outstanding care given to the inside and outside of the vehicle. I am extremely pleased with the results of all systems of the vehicle being checked out thoroughly. We recently purchased a 2009 Subaru at Ballweg Toyota. I saw the car on their website, and was quickly contacted when I requested more information. We worked with John Pochanayan, and he answered all my questions within minutes of me sending them. The car was ready and waiting when we came in for a test drive, and Katie Rose provided efficient and professional service once we decided to purchase it. We never felt any pressure to purchase a vehicle (or any pressure to purchase a Toyota ;) which was very appreciated. Overall, we were very happy with all aspects of our experience.

The customer service is very poor. I called for a key fob and the parts department put me on hold and supposedly checked for the part.When I drove into the dealership I was told they had did not have the part. I had a recall appointment scheduled for over a week and when I brought my car in, they did not have the parts. i was told I would be called when the parts came in and I would have to make another appointment. It has been six weeks and I have yet to be contacted about getting my car fixed. Another issue i had involved requesting to speak with the business manager. I was told he was busy with a customer, but when I walked by his office no one was with him. When I questioned another employee, they said he was busy so they "just told me that".

This was my first time using this dealership but was a very positive experience. Sales, Service, Finance Staff were all very low pressure and professional. They had the vehicle I wanted on the lot and were straight forward with the price and options available. This is my 5th Toyota and am loyal to the brand.

I was debating between a Toyota Corolla and a different car at another dealership. The salesperson was very informative and answered all my questions. I was not pressured or rushed with making my decision. I purchased the Toyota Corolla and have been very happy with my decision.

On 1/16/2014 Ryan L. and I had to build a 2014 Tacoma the way I wanted it. Ryan was a lot of help in this situation helping with the correct package and cost. My Tacoma was being built in San Antonia TX. and it was not built until 2/19/14. It was then sent by rail and did not get to Minneapolis MN. until 3/14/14. This was a very long process and I feel Toyota should and can do a better job on delivery time. I finally got my Tacoma on 3/21/14. All through this process Ryan L. had to put up with me asking when is it going to get here, I know Ryan was glade when it got to Ballweg. In all, things went good and I got what I wanted and that's what it is all about. I know the service will be good at Ballweg because my wife Bonnie also has a 2012 Camry that we also bought from Ryan L. and the service has been good with that also. Dick and Bonnie Giesler

This is the 5th or 6th Toyota we have purchased and all of them have been purchased at Midwest Toyota. When the Ballweg family purchased the franchise I was worried about a change in ownership. but rather than a decline, the service has gotten better. If you, like me, won't deal with high pressure sales people, Toby Stauffer is just who you are looking for. We have purchased our last 4 Toyotas from Toby and have been given a fair price on each. Toby helped us find a Corolla with VSC the first year it was offered and was almost impossible to find. After one poor experience with the previous owners; I have been very satisfied with all the service we have had performed at Ballweg Paul Apfel has been my service rep and has provided me with excellent friendly service in each instance.

Asked this dealer for a price on a 2013 Toyota Avalon. Gave information on the type/options I wanted. I explained the Avalon trade I had. I received emails from this dealer that asked me if I decided on an Avalon from them. I responded back I WAS STILL WAITING to HEAR THE PRICE. They were very polite and finally gave me a price. I purchased a 2013 Avalon from another Dealer a couple days later..

I was working with John P on a Highlander that was waiting to be detailed. I wanted to come and drive it that day, but was told I needed to wait til it was detailed. Days went by, and I called John, he stated he would check on it and call me back. Another day went by, so I called again, and left a message on his voice mail to call me. I also asked another salesman about the Highlander, only to learn, that it had been sold already. That was 4 weeks ago, and I still have not heard from John. 2years ago i bought a vehicle from Balweg and John was my salesman, and that was a terrible experience, especially from the used sales manager. But, I thought I would give John the benefit of the doubt, but after this, i would not recommend this dealership to anyone. It's too bad, because I had a terrific experience at Balweg in Wausau when my truck broke down. They got it towed, in the shop, they even had to push another car out to get mine in, and got me back on the road. Not sure why La Crosse has issues, but they do.

I was told a certain price. I waited them to fix the car they had on the lot, which knowingly needed repairs. At first they said I would need to pay for the vehicle to be fixed, which I thought was ridiculous, they then said that they would honor my original price. I waited for them to fix the vehicle and passed up other buying opportunities, only to have them jack the price up $800 the day I was on my way to pick it up. They would not honor their original agreement so I ended up going elsewhere after waiting several days. Very disappointed. They did nothing to correct it and acted like they never even talked to me. I ended up spendig more elsewhere, but at least it was the price they promised. I wouldnt give this place a dime.

This is the 2nd Prius from this dealership The Internet Sales Rep, Katie Kendle was excellnet and Dave Griffin handled the sale and return of the previous lease. Katie from finance was easy to work with. All in all a very positive, no hassle experience. Better than the last time, but I believe Ballweg is the new owner! Well done.

Our family was in an accident earlier this year. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured. The biggest hit came when the insurance company told us how much they would cover for our totaled car. Given the meager amount, we started to search for a used vehicle - another Toyota. That led to another sense of frustration because we couldn't find the car we wanted with the miles and features within our limited budget. This is where John Pochanayon from Midwest Toyota in La Crosse, Wisconsin came in. If there was ever an individual who represented the farthest thing from a stereotypical "SALES" person, that would be John. We shifted our search for a new vehicle because Toyota was running a great special. John and other members of the Midwest Toyota team were super cordial and unbelievably accommodating given our circumstances. Let me tell you dealing with Ballwig Midwest Toyota of LaCrosse was the most wonderful experience ever. Our sales consultant DAVE GRIFFIN was the most helpful, understanding and PLEASANT person as far as helping use decide on purchasing a car. With the knowledge and help he did sell us a Toyota Camry XLE, it is the most beautiful, elegant and a car of my dreams. We have had it for two months already AND LOVE IT. Dave Griffin is #1 HE DESERVES A RAISE LOL
