I purchased a 2003 Toyota Rave 4 over a month ago September 2021. I found this location driving around the Houston area. When I arrived at this dealership I was approached by the owners son. I asked to drive the car which I did at the time I only heard some noises coming from the front end. I asked the owners son if the check engine lights was on or if the cleared the light and he told me NO. He also told me nothing was wrong with the car. I only had the car for two days and the check engine light came on. I then took the car to a mechanic shop to find out the car wasn't safe to drive. I paid $4,500 for the car. I spent $4,800 to fix the car in total. I have a family and I just needed a safe and reliable car. This location will lie to you just to get your money. They can careless about you or your well being. Please choose a different location to purchase a car. I use Google reviews often to help me make decisions on were I do business. This is not the place!!

Came on Saturday to see and purchase a vehicle. The son told me it needed some work and would be ready by Monday or Tuesday at the latest. Assured me it was going no where given the condition. Took my number. I had an off feeling Sunday. Started to go back up there but on the website it said call for an appointment on Sundays. I call first thing Monday morning and presumably the father answers and not only says he sold it Sunday but gave the man a deal for vehicles issue. I wasn't even given that option on Saturday. I would have purchased it as is had someone given me the option. Offered me another vehicle that wasn't ready to be purchased that day unapologetically like take it or leave lady. I will gladly take my cash elsewhere.

Got a cash car back in July and have been rolling ever since! They both made the process super easy without feeling like I wasn’t getting a fair price/deal! They actually talked me through my purchase and answered all questions i had. I just recently went back to get my permanent plates on and they literally did it for free as well as checking on my car. Truly family oriented. Fully recommend.

This is the second car I have bought from Dahmani. The one I bought in 2014 is still my favorite. A 2004 Saturn ion. He tells you up front if any problems. I bought a 2017 Kia Rio from him in May. He is very friendly and helpful. He even sent me my plates because I have a blood clot and can't drive down to Houston. I will go back to him when it's time to purchase another vehicle. Thank you 😃

I've been shopping for my daughters first car. Been to several dealers I was losing hope. The staff was great very easy to deal with. The vehicle was just as advertised and a great deal to boot. I've bought two cars this year, this was by far the easiest. Will be back next time.

I am extremely pleased with the service I received at Universal Auto Credit. I called on Saturday evening and told him I saw the 07 Honda Accord on Cars.com and I was bringing my mechanic on Monday to test drive it. He said he would have it ready for me and he did. Gave us the keys and said keep it as long as you need. He even gave me a discount since I drove from Mississippi to get the car. He was also patient and helpful with the over the phone process from my financial institution. I would recommend these guys to anyone in need of a quality used vehicle. I was pleased with the service from start to finish.

I needed a certain car and did something I seldom ever do - bought it without driving it first. And, I lived out of state. Shopped the car over the Internet. Tedj at Universal Auto Credit handled all my needs very professionally. He even met me at the airport the day I flew in to pick up the car. A few days before, he had pointed out the need to buy new tires. Since I would be driving for about 10 hours after I picked up the car, I arranged for new tires at a local tire store and he delivered the car there and picked it up for me. This was an easy experience and I got a great car at a great price. The company is very trust worthy and you can count on them.

Totally Amazed is not a phrase that I use often nor would I have predicted myself using it to describe a Used car dealership. Here is my story. We purchased a Used car from Universal Auto Credit that i had test drove and felt was mechanically sound. The car was for my 17 year old Son. I did not hear a noise coming from the motor when I drove the car, however my Son did hear the noise when he drove the car after I had purchased it. When i did hear the sound (a knocking in the motor) I knew that it was something serious. So I called Universal Auto Credit to see what could be done. They had me bring the car back so that their Mechanic could check it out. It turned out that one of the rod bearings were bad and needed replaced. They had their Mechanic perform the needed repair and then allowed us to decide if we still wanted the car or our money back. The motor sounded fine so we kept the car. This is truly what I DID NOT expect from a Used car dealer in Houston, Texas, what I DID expect was for them to say that it was not their problem. This is why I said I am "Totally Amazed". I will contact Universal Auto Credit when I shop for my next used Car and would recommend them to my Friends and Family. They did the right thing.

They were helpful in all parts of the buying process. Told me to take the car to my mechanic to have him look it over before I bought the car they made sure the car was cleaned. Anything that needed to be fixed was fixed.

Looked at a car and liked it and the price was ok. some items were needing repairs.Dealer agreed to fix problems and would need to adjust pricing. After many calls dealer never gave a new price and did no repairs. I quit calling and never heard from dealer. I thought we were going to make a deal. I bought elsewhere. I went there after seeing a vette that I was looking for and I read reviews that were good. there were some questions I had about the car which they could not answer. After the fact I really got the impression that they were hiding something

We had trouble with the car we purchased. in two months I was only able to put 71 miles on it as it was down for repairs or just trying to get Universal to get the thing repaired. The last time I talked to them in person they promised to pick the non drivable car up at their expense and get to a mechanic to have fixed and split the repair cost. That day came and went and I still haven't heard from them. My mechanic gave me a distributor and I installed it, the car now runs. If I didn't know a little about cars it would still be dead in my drive way. Go else where unless you like to continually make calls and not get them returned and have a company not follow through with what they promised.

The car that we had just recently bought began having problems 5 days after it was purchased. We called to get advice on the car as to if they could repair it and they were extremely rude! Will take my business elsewhere from now on.

I bought a used 2003 Hyundai Elantra from Universal Auto Credit in November of 2013. I live in San Antonio. I drove to Houston to buy this car. I felt no pressure to purchase the vehicle from them. I have owned the vehicle for about two months now. I have put about 2,500 miles on the car. Everything is functional, the car drives great. Universal Auto Credit's prices are very competitive, hence the reason why I drove 200 miles from San Antonio to buy a car from them. I recommend them to anyone looking for a good quality used car.

Went to look at a Saab. Were told it had driven to the auction to buy more cars and would be back after lunch. Called after lunch to talk to the man (Shabir?) and were told he wasn't there. We were already almost back so we went to the place anyway. Walked in the door and (Shabir?) was sitting at the desk. Asked about the car and was told it was "being fixed". Finally they said it needed a part and would eventually be fixed. Told them I was unhappy and they didn't seem to care. Went elsewhere and bought a car. If they can't tell you the truth about who's there and who's not, what will they tell you about the cars?

today i purchased my 2000 ford explorer from del,he made sure i was aware of some minor issues that needed work on it,which i plan on geting done in the future at their business as soon as del can find the parts needed. although today seemed to be a very busy day at the lot while i was there del was very professional and courtious to everyone. i would recomend anyone whose is looking for a used car or truck to first check out these two brothers who truely give you the best deal they can without empting your wallet lol respectfully; david e. jones

I agree with the previous reviews. We really liked these guys from the first time we met them. Its two brothers making their living by making a little profit on the cars they find at auction and moving them off the lot. We found them on cars.com while searching for a vehicle for our son who's 16. We are very pleased and confident in the vehicle we found and in they way they took care of us.

I totaled my car, and needed a new car fast. I found them through cars.com, and was a little hesitant at first. However, I went down there, I'm from Dallas, and they're just two brothers who make their living by going to auction and picking out gems amongst the rough, so-to-speak. They then do a little work up on them, nothing major from what I gathered, and then sell the car to its new owner at a great price. They're good people, who do good business! I would absolutely buy from them again!

i usually find used car shopping like pulling teeth. Not with this place. They were very helpful very nice and very easy to work with. They are honest and fair. The helped me get into the right vehicle for a great price. i left feeling like i got the better end of the deal. I like the small business feel they have, being able to talk to the same guy everytime.
